The staff at Kobella Plumbing and Heating is top notch!  Their availability and communication were excellent!  I would recommend them 100%!

My dishwasher clogged and after a quick search on Yelp, I came up with Kobella Pluming. Their hours are fantastic!!! Open early and Lisa was so friendly and helpful. I set up a Saturday appointment, at no additional fee, which is a huge help for working families who need a professional!! I was even able to purchase a voucher through Yelp, which took some of the sting out of my plumbing accident!!
Shortly after speaking with Lisa, I received a conformation email and received another email Saturday morning, reminding me of my appointment. Andrew called 30 minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. Professionalism at its finest!!

I had to add a review for Kobella after the great service I received today.

I had a clogged drain - a VERY clogged drain as it turns out. Jeremy and Ed arrived within the scheduled time; they phoned 30 minutes ahead of arrival. These were two very polite and professional gentlemen. They checked out the drain, gave me an estimate and went right to work. Problem was a very deep clog in my pipes. After snaking the drain, Jeremy took the time to make sure that he ran water long enough to ensure it drained correctly. He also made sure to put everything back under my sink. Everything was left in a neat and tidy manner.

In addition to the excellent and fast service, Jeremy and Ed were a pleasure to have as servicepeople in my home.

Amazing service from Greg Coy of Kobella Plumbing! A recently installed toilet in newly renovated bathroom turned out to be a bigger problem than anticipated. Everything was rotten/corroded underneath and was a disaster waiting to happen. We finally feel secure that at least that one part of the poor renovation is safe. Thank you

We were in trouble on a Friday morning trying to find a plumbing service that could replace our hot water tank. We'd been up late Thursday mopping up water & removing items that were soaked. My husband got online with Home Advisor, filled out the information & within 3 minutes our phone was ringing. Mike (the owner) called to say he'd be at our house in about a half hour. After inspection, he said he could replace the tank right away. About 2 hours later we had a new tank. We were so pleased with the promptness, excellent knowledgeable service & quality workmanship we would recommend (and definitely call them again) for any plumbing needs. Thanks again Mike. You're the best.

These guys have been keeping me warm/cool and dry ever since they upgraded my HVAC system several years ago (when my old contractor left me in the lurch). They're professional and courteous and meet their commitments. I depend on them for HVAC and plumbing, and they don't let me down.

I would give Kobella negative stars if I could. They replaced sewer pipes in our slab house. The work took longer than expected and our home was a disaster after- dirt everywhere, broken bathroom light, multiple large dings/dents in the walls, vent covers missing. To make matters worse, really worse, they littered asbestos ALL throughout our home and didn't even acknowledge it or inform us. We only found out about the asbestos when a cleaning company came to clean up the mess Kobella left behind. This was after we had already returned to the house following Kobella's work. We were displaced from our home for an extended period of time due to the asbestos, with a premature infant daughter and while on maternity leave. We have spent a massive amount on getting our home professionally abated/cleaned by an environmental company and our belongings professionally cleaned or disposed of/replaced due to asbestos. Kobella is taking zero responsibility for this. We have tried to reach out to them multiple times to rectify the issues, but they refuse to acknowledge us.

From start to finish this company is amazing!  They respond quickly and show up on time. The work ethic of Mike is amazing!  I run my own contracting business and I'd hire him in a heart beat. He very friendly, knowledgeable and hardworking. Great guy!  Definitely my go to HVAC company now!!

The whole crew at Kobella is top notch. I found them via Yelp, and the reviews turned out to be true. They show up for appointments right on time (if not a few minutes early), and are patient explaining issues to the DIY homeowner that I am. I don't get into the stuff that they do, but I want to know what's going on at a detailed level ...and they're happy to accommodate those requests. Plus, their work is excellent! I highly recommend Kobella.

I can't say enough about Kobella Plumbing Htg/Cooling and their associates. We had an appointment, but due to a situation they were unable to make it. They contacted us immediately, worked with us to set another appointment; there will be situations that arise, but they handled it professional and timely.  The appointment was set for the next day, arrived on time, completed the hand at task and suggested other things that were needed - there was no pushy sales or attitude, suggestions only, in which we found helpful & they are going to complete.  They are courtesy, knowledgeable & their work ethics is impeccable.  I work for a general contractor & have not seen this type of service in a while.  From the first call to paying the invoice I couldn't be happier.  Thank you.

I called this morning and spoke with HVAC Mgr ,I believe, and the service I paid $280 was to be Nozzle,Electrode check, CO2 check,
Oil compression, and a cleaning. There was no clean outs on my furnace, so the burner assembly would have to be removed to get
into the chamber to clean Approx 5 bolts. This was not done. The Heat Exchanger was checked and found to have a crack in it. The technician then
asked me several times if I wanted a quote on new furnace ect...
I advised the technician I had a warranty for the heat exchanger through Lews. I liked the technician and seems like he had lots of knowledge. I just do not feel it was worth the $280 I paid. I also had an oil tank installed and paid approx $1050. I asked HVAC MGR if that was lowest price, he claimed he was making a small   amount.It only took them 2 hours to do. I also supplied all of the parts accept the line. Even if they were paying both Techs $50 an hour. Total $200, $20 for gas..ect..I just have a hard time believing this.
I believe the service I received today was $50 high due to the lack of cleaning and my online review will reflect this on Google ect. I agree with Mike M on his review. I believe Kobella is all about the money. I will not be using your services again nor would I recommend. Very disappointed.

We had an issue with our hot water heater the other night. Called and Mike was able to come out the following morning. We needed an entirely new tank. (Merry Christmas, right?!)

Mike was very professional, he was on time and made sure to call 30 minutes before arriving.

We did find out that our old tank was covered under the manufacturer warranty, so it was free to replace. However!! The cost of labor was a bit on the ridiculous side. The tank itself was only $458 and we paid almost $700 in labor to have it installed. I'm grateful, but, Wowza! Needless to say, I got a new hot water heater for Christmas.

All in all, I'm happy with the service provided. I'd use them again.

I have used Kobella a few times for standard maintenance on my HVAC units.  Naturally, they were the first company I called when my furnace went out in December.  They had an estimator there the next work day and he was able to quote me on three different systems.  

The first thing that struck me as odd was that all quotes involved replacing the electrical panel to the outdoor unit.  When I asked why this was needed, the estimator started acting squirmy and said, that is just what we do.  I spent the next couple days shopping around for contractors and they were all coming in quite a bit cheaper than the Kobella quotes; to the tune of 50% less.  So far this is all natural in the business world and not really cause for alarm.  

However, the reason I am compelled to write this review is what happened next.  I was catching up on emails and noticed that Kobella sent me a link to a website that calculated the true cost of replacing the HVAC system.  When I used this website, it's estimate also came in at nearly 50% of the Kobella quote.  I reiterate, Kobella's own recommendation for the cost of a new system is HALF of what they wanted to charge for my home.  

When I wrote to the estimator about this and directed him to the website he wrote me back and offered to take over $3700 off of the job.  The estimate went from $12,721.90 to $9,000.0  How much padding could be in the quote for $3,700 to be waived after only one email?

I see the owner of the company on Yelp defending his prices by saying they do the work well and cross all the t's and dot all the i's.  If this were true, the estimator would not have needed to give me a power point presentation before the quote to butter me up.  Yes, that man pulled out a tablet and gave me a slide show about how great Kobella is right on my kitchen table.  In my field results speak for themselves and the slideshows are bells and whistles to distract you from what is really going on.

Even assuming Kobella is the greatest HVAC contractor in the state, it still doesn't make up for the fact that they will try to sell you a job which such a cushion that they can profitably take $3,700 off of the initial estimate.

After dealing with a few other contractors, the experience with Kobella felt insulting.  Take my advice, do not waste your time calling this company.

I had used them for years.  Evidently they got too big for their britches.  Just tried to scam me on faucet install over 1k wanted for one sink. It is a 200-400 dollar job.  Stole 65 dollars of my family's money to come make their absurd grift pitch.  I would stay far away from them now if this is their new normal.

I have used Kobella Plumbing twice in 2017.  In both cases their service was prompt, professional and reasonably priced.  Their first visit was for a stopped drain and the second visit was for the installation of a new hot water tank.  Good job both times.  I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I called Kobella last fall when my blower quit running. The tech that came forced my furnace to run for 20 or more minutes without a working blower causing the drain pan for the ac to melt. The tech had no desire to fix the blower module. He  told me they don't make the module for my furnace anymore. He kept telling me my furnace was too big for my house and needed to be replaced. Even when asking about just fixing it he wanted nothing to do with it. I called another company and they came right out and fixed the blower without any issues.

I had a furnace installed on  1/18/2021. Mike C. came and gave me options on what to install and picked the perfect furnace for my home. Mike T. and his crew installed the furnace in 1/2 day and did great work. Brad M. made adjustments to fit my homes peculiarities. I also talked with the owner Mike Kobella. Everyone was informative, professional, and on time. They showed that they  cared about my needs and concerns. Finding a company and its employees who all exhibit such integrity to their job and product is rare. I highly recommend them.

Kobella Plumbing is excellent. They are responsive and on time. They call when they are on their way. I appreciate the email reminders and updates. The technicians full explain the work to be done and the office staff is the best.

They did a great job getting the heat back on during a cold winter day. The tech, Anthony, was here a half hour early and was great explaining to me what was going on. Reasonably priced, especially for the service we received. I will be using them in the future for my HVAC needs.

Andrew was very knowledgeable and professional.  I had an emergency water heater break on a Sunday and they answered  the phone immediately and had  someone there within two hours.  Andrew answered all my questions and then some!

What a wonderful company. I had issues with my sup pump. Called up Kobella, briefly described the problem, and quickly got an appointment set up the very next day. Communication was good all the way through and the plumber (Bruno) even came early. Quickly diagnosed, explained, and fixed the problem. Super friendly (he even offered to carry in my Amazon delivery packages!) and careful with my house (cleaned up, turned off all lights, and wore bags around his shoes). The service was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. There are a lot of plumbing companies out there, but this one is by far the best I have ever dealt with.

Second time I had to call these guys for my plumbing emergencies in the last 2 years and they were fantastic!

So I woke up on my Saturday morning to a broken shower valve and LUCKY ME we couldn't turn the shower off! So I called Kobella because I'm not a plumber and Lisa wasn't making me feel good (She was very polite and friendly). She was telling me I don't know dude its Saturday and its very busy, you might have to wait for Monday (i'm putting what she said in my own words, she was very professional). I was like, oh no! because the only way to turn off the shower was to cut the water off for the whole house. So Lisa said let me see and i will call you. Lisa called me 10 minutes later...

Skip to the end...I called at 10.30am they were at my house by 11.30am and the problem was solved by 12.15pm! Awesome! I know what Lisa was doing, 'under promise then over deliver' and it worked perfectly! These guys are the best DO NOT call anyone else, they are fast, and professional like nothing I have seen before in a Plumbing company!

My first choice every time!! Even if I have to wait, I don't want anyone else in my house! Great job!

Great experience all around!  Prompt responses to online messages and appointments. Timeframe given were as stated. Repairman was knowledgeable and professional and presented several options for repair. Clearly trained in good customer service.  Would absolutely use them again.

I'm relatively new to the client base, yet for the few times I have had them out ( including R&R complete HVAC), I have been satisfied with their personalities, work quality, customer relations, promptness and thoroughness.  This is a rare find in the trades; I know because I have had to use several over the years and all turned out to be less than adequate, shall we say.

Sure, everyone's home A/C goes out on one of the hottest days of the year,  and ours was no exception! So Monday afternoon called to see if they could come out as soon as possible (yes, I know I was asking a lot!). Lisa, who handles the calls,  said they were slammed,  but she would try to move non immediate action appointments around, and get me in.

5 minutes later she called back and said she could have someone here on Tuesday, before Noon! No way I thought, and Yes way they did!!

Crew showed up at 10:30 and jumped right in.  Found the problem, which was something that was on going, unbeknownst to me. Set up a plan of attack and got to work!  Less than 2 hrs later, the house is starting to cool.

Anthony and his partner were tremendous!  Pointed out to me the problem,  gave me my options and went right at it. Could not be more pleased!

Since my former HACV guy retired and Kobella took over the account,  I've need them twice and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to all households in Lake and Geauga counties!!

This is the third time I have used Kobella's and I am absolutely in awe of how amazing they are! I would not be able to fix the issues or trust anyone else to fix the issues except Kobella's.  I called because I knew they could help me figure out a problem that was complicated and caused by a jack of all trades that knew jack about any trade. To make a very long and aggravating story short, the two Kobella's Techs worked and thought out the process of fixing the problems. They came up with a plan, made a list of items needed to correct the problem, left to get the parts needed,  built an 8ft 220 plug so I could pull my dryer out from under the counter, added 8 foot water lines and drain hose so I could pull out my washing machine from under the counter and vented my dryer with an 8 ft vent pipe that was secure and safe. They are my go to professionals and I immensely appreciate their promptness of scheduling, on time arrival, quick diagnosis and plan to get the job done! Do yourself a huge favor and call only Kobella's if you want the job done right the first time!!!!

The terrible Christmas Eve eve storm hit and a snow drift caused havoc with my efficiency furnace sucking snow though intake pipe outside the house. Mike C. did a great job and explained everything he did step by step. I would recommend Kobella to anyone who has furnace problems. Friendly, fast service, considering all the people with problems. mike kobella is a dishonest person.
don't be fooled by the positive feedbacks on google.
if something goes wrong mike will not hesitate to ask for more money and blame you for the problem.
if you post a bad review he will lie about who they are or the service he gave.
he also might resort to claim he doesn't know you.

We just had Kobella come out to replace our 29 year old furnace and air conditioner. They also replaced our humidifier, whole house air filter and installed a programmable thermostat.

They were on time and sent a good sized crew. Everyone was personable, efficient, clean and capable. They split up the tasks and went to work. When they were done, they went over operation and maintenance and answered all our questions. They also cleaned up very well . Overall a good experience and a good choice of an HVAC provider.

This work was just completed today so we have no long term feedback yet.

I got ripped off big time! Almost $600 to replace a capacitor in my AC unit. The part is less than $100. I'll do it myself next time.

Called Kobella's for a refrigerator repair because they were listed as a source while searching Internet. Although that was not their area,  Lisa, who answered their phone, went above and beyond by checking with her boss for possible recommendations. She even gave me a personal recommendation for a local appliance repair service.
I will keep their number if I need a repair that they provide.

Very satisfied with the work, they were very professional and completed the job quickly and with quality. Price for the job was  higher than I expected, but I think you do pay for quality.

Kobella's diagnosed and replaced three parts on the outside air conditioner. Your service people are incredibly courteous and need more importantly they have you working on your heating or cooling system as if their MDs a Cleveland Clinic. Full explanations, courteous, and no demands or rushing you on a decision. I wish all companies respected their customers the way Kobella's does.

They were very responsive to our problem with our HVAC.  Part was ordered & they were out to repair it in a few days.  Always on time & professional.

We water backing up in the basement and we're expecting the worst having cast iron pipes. The young man that came and worked on the problem was professional and his customer service skills were A plus. He stayed to assure the procedure was successful and did not try and did not try to hard sell any unnecessary or unwanted additional services. I would definitely use them in the future, and I believe the great customer service is refreshing and has great value.

Personally, I never used this company but I read the reviews. I think it's Brand defamation when someone puts out negative reviews without specifics. In addition, a disgruntled customer who doesn't like the price shouldn't be allowed to prove their lack of character by posting nasty inflamed opinions. Instead, simply decline and move on with class.

Until you understand overhead, have a degree or long standing experience with business you have no idea what anything costs. No two businesses should have the same pricing because of the factors just mentioned.
