I have used Tom Moffett Plumbing for about 10 years. They re piped my whole house when we had a slab leak, and recently we got a tankless water heater. They did everything in a clean and timely manner.
I wouldn't call anyone else for plumbing!

BEWARE.......Called Tom Moffett Plumbing out to fix a backup in the pipe as the toilet overflowed and bathroom sink was clogged. I used them because they advertised on The Fish a Christian radio station I listen to. They charged me a $59.99 dollar service charge (non refundable) as they told me they would, and after they looked at the problem they said they can do the job for 2k, by digging up the front yard to put in a 2 way pipe to the main. After picking up on jaw, I asked if they can just snake it as this has happened before and that was what my brother did to unclog it. They requoted for a snake at the bargain price $950.00. I asked why so much. He said the equipment was heavy and the job would be professional. Bottom line we went to Home Depot and rented a 50 foot electric snake and our friend did it. Work's like a charm.

What a pleasure it was dealing with Chris T, from Tom Moffett Plumbing. The drain in our kitchen was draining slow so I called Moffett Plumbing. This was the second time this year that I had a problem with this drain. Chris T, came out and said the drain was covered by warranty and not to worry he would fix the problem and he did. The work was covered by the warranty and it didn't cost me anything.
Moffett Plumbing stands behind there work and that was a great relief for me.

I am waiting on a call from the owner tomorrow. He may or may not call me. For now,This review is for the front office, as they seem unable to figure out how to give good customer service and problem solve an issue (like a re occurring leak which several of their plumbers have attempted to fix) without suggesting it will cost and additional ( I have already paid more than $1.5 K) 500-800 dollars - when they cannot even locate the source of the leak. I have had several visits for the same problem. I have had numerous phone call talks with the head office (heads up- she will tell u that she has all your conversations recorded and apparently transcribed so that you can feel how truly wrong you are as a customer. Its just unacceptable and apparently this is how they grind down a customer.. just keep insisting it is YOUR fault and it will only get fixed if you pay more money. The front office also will tell you they do not know plumbing, but will still school you on what your plumbing issues are. I am disgusted for having trusted this group to make good on the find/repair of the leak, and even enrolled in their monthly insurance. My ceiling is again cut open.........

They came out last year and reattached our dryer hose, which cost literally hundreds of dollars, because it was a tight space to access. They offered us a discount to join their membership club, which really didn't provide much of anything so of course we never used it. They were more than happy to collect $16.95 per month (for basically a membership to nothing) and when we received a bill all they cared about was collecting the last payment before cancelling.

We had plumbing done by another company and the consensus was that the pricing for the service was ridiculous.

While the staff is nice on the phone, I would not recommend this company, for either the cost of service or experiences with their membership and billing.

UPDATE:

Basically the response to this review was you obviously thought the price was fair at the time.... This couldn't be farther from the truth.... I HONESTLY THOUGHT IT WAS OVER-PRICED (as did the other professionals within your industry)... unfortunately when you're in a bind and don't know what fair pricing should be you make decisions without all of the information. When in that situation, you can only hope the company will not over charge you or up-sell you and can unfortunately find out later that you were overcharged. So then you just ride out a required 1-year membership without any value to try to minimize the damage, because what choice do you have? Then when you call the concern is pay us $32 (more money) and we can cancel your membership now that the year is over and it's goodbye, we got a little extra money. No discussion, trying to remedy the situation, etc.

This is how this company works, but I guess it will not work for me moving forward and recommend prospective clients get another quote and don't use them if you'll be in a bind.

Again I would find someone more transparent and whom is less concerned over trying to nickel and dime to get a few extra dollars, and more concerned with customer retention.

They have done good work for us in the past, but their prices were pretty high. I was willing to pay a little extra because of the service I received. No longer. Had a sewer clog on a Sunday night, they scheduled us for the following morning. No showers or toilets for over 12 hours, then an hour and a half after they said they'd be here, they call and try to reschedule for the following day. Too many other good plumbers out there to put up with this.

Complete overhaul was needed at my house, and they handled it all. Replaced the Water heater, new pressure regulator, new valves. In addition, decided on the water purification and softener system. Jonathan and Adam did all the work, which was not an easy job, and all ended up well. Thanks for the new water system, I love it and we were able to tell the difference within the first week for laundry, drinking, and showers

Honestly these guys are the best! they are honest and not expensive!
Scott helped me with a new and water heater. had it installed so quick!
When I had a busted pipe Chris and Giovanni got it under control! they even when the extra mile to help me with my insurance and even find a Dry out company!
Tom Moffett is the best, they answered my calls after 5pm and where at my home within a half hour!!!
Because this happened during the pandemic they wore masks and shoe covers that made me feel so much better!
This is the only plumbing company you need! they really do care and go that extra mile!!!

My review is bitter sweet. The best part is that I only paid a service fee of $59.00 for all that they did for us. The bitter part, is they misdiagnosed my problem due to lack of information. They refused to hydro-jet from my inside 4 in clean-out and therefore would have required us to install an outside clean-out in-order to clear our main-line. They may have specific guidelines to reduce potential home damage, but I had the line hydro-jetted today through the inside clean-out, without any damages. When it was done, the area of potential pipe damage was no longer visible. We do need an outside clean-out, but the price we were quoted was close to 4,000, versus $1,200. at another company. I was very impressed by their professionalism and kindness. They even came back with their camera a 2nd time to reassess after another company came. Most of the larger companies have very high prices. We were quoted even higher, by another one. I would recommend that you contact these guys, but maybe you should consider a 2nd opinion if they sound too high or say that they can't do something with your current access. I really wished they had been willing to do the hydro-jetting for us yesterday, we would have been back up and running with less hassle and would have given them the business. Their hydro-jet service was only around $100.00 more than the other company and we would have been happy customers. We really did want them to do the work for us. They are very clean and professional.

Moffett Plumbing amazed us again! In a world of average tradesman it is refreshing to have true professionals that calm the nerves and get to work. Their Service Manager Kevin came out to go over the details of the project and ensure it was done in a timely fashion and as he said, the right way not the easy way! They don't cut corners and it truly shows. I wouldn't use anyone else besides them for all of our plumbing needs. Oh yeah, they also walked my dog haha. The coolest guys ever!

I like to support local businesses, and since this plumbing company is located very near to my home, I called them when I needed a small leak repaired. Overall, I was quite pleased with my experience. The technician arrived on time, was well-dressed, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Although I am no expert, the repair work that he did seems to me to be of high-quality. I would have rated this company as five stars, but their price was about twice what a friend (a plumber in Colorado) told me I should expect to pay.

We had a bad leak coming from the drains that connect to the upstairs showers. We called Moffett Plumbing. They were so ridiculously dishonest and a rip-off with what they quoted us. They recommended a very invasive fix-it job that was completely unnecessary and super expensive!
So we decided to call Archer plumbing for a second opinion.....and they were great! They came up with a less invasive idea to fix the problem. And it was waaaay cheaper than what Moffett had quoted us. Now everything works great, and we still have money in our wallets.

I rarely complete reviews, as I know overall they can simply be a dime a dozen or a platform for ranting. (sidenote, I left this review also on Google to ensure its visibility)

I figure when I do leave a response, they can carry more weight since I have actually invested the time. In this situation, Moffett Plumbing & Air certainly deserves every accolade. I had the pleasure of having Vince in my home, and not only was he knowledgeable, he was fastidious and attentive to the particularities of my needs. Tristan accompanied him and also very courteous and hardworking throughout. Imagine if you had a very friendly and warm neighbor who had not only expertise in plumbing, but direct connections to the industry in order to expedite service and cut costs. Then say this neighbor had no other interest but to assist you for the day. This is what I received from Vince, Tristan and Moffet Plumbing overall. The experience is very much like you're being incorporated into a community.

I actually used Moffett one time for a more simple issue in the past (pre-pandemic) and I had a good experience as well, but wasn't sure if the experience was great because of it being an exception or a consistent thing, so I held my opinion until I needed them again. Well, they certainly uphold the standard well! Great job!

Mr. Moffett likes to reply with incorrect information. I had asked for my two brand new, existing toilets to be installed. There was no need for new toilets, new valves or new supply tubes. IT WAS AN INSTALL ONLY*. I didn't fail to mention anything in my review. I even had brand new wax rings. (Which they said they also could not use).

*My new toilets had been removed to install new flooring.

Funny how the plumber I did hire came in with no issues with re-seating my existing toilets. NOR did he try to make me believe that I needed to replace all the new valves and tubes that were existing. But he did laugh when I mentioned your company name. I'll leave it at that.

And yes, it was a fully licensed and insured company.

Moffett Plumbing should learn how to do honest work, not point at items on your pre-printed menus of pricing.

I completely stand by my original review. Charging someone almost $600 to re-seat two toilets (which took 1/2 hour), is a complete sham.

I am editing my initial review of this company. Earlier this year I called Tom Moffett and made an appointment for that same day. In a nutshell, the appointment was cancelled and I had to have someone else come out to fix the problem.

Michael M., the owner of Tom Moffett, has been communicating with me and has researched and gotten to the bottom of what happened. He has shown me his commitment to customer service satisfaction, desire that his customers are well served and character. It is because of his commitment that I am changing my review.

I give only four stars out of five because of this one reason only. Their web site states they are open 24 hours. Therefore there should have been no reason to cancel my appointment, they could have come at midnight for all I care, if you have a plumbing emergency - you want the problem fixed that same day.

What an absolute rip-off, I had to pay $59 for the plumber to tell me exactly what I told him, we could hear water leaking in the wall of our second floor master bath, but there was absolutely no sign of water actually in the wall yet Tom Moffett Plumbing wanted to cut all these holes in our walls.....seriously ridiculous. They also quoted $533 dollars for leak detection. Never would recommend them. Worst experience!!! FYI called American Leak Detection and for $275 they detected and marked where the leak was, it was in the base of the wall in the dining room where the pipe bends to go into the slab and the water was leaking under the slab.

I don't even know why I am giving this business one star. I'll keep it short and sweet. They came out to my house and charged me a fee in order for me to receive a quote. Really???? It supposedly wasn't going to apply to the work if I chose them! Really?? Long story short, the one star goes to their nice, big red truck and they were nice and clean cut. I would expect an advertiser on a Christian radio station to at least pretend to be Christian-like...Not these guys. The quote I received from them was DOUBLE, no...slightly more than DOUBLE what the job cost. Tom Moffet's quote: 8-grand and change. I had the EXACT WORK they were going to do, plus the exact unit they were going to install with the EXACT warranty they offered and I got the job beautifully done for less than 4-grand...a couple hundred less at least! My advice: Do your homework...and especially don't use these guys if you don't feel like throwing your money away.

The technician came in today, they first asked me if I have any information from other company .Then they propose $650 some to use the camera and some other devices to give me the estimate ,so I asked them you guys cannot even provide me an estimate ,they say no they have to use the tools and that gonna cost me more ,this really sucks they charge me a service charge and that just only for tell me something like this ,there's no way I'm gonna use this company

This is my response to the explanation of the owner, your company need to retraining your operator when someone call for information, tell them the service charge is good only for the technicians to show up and say Hi, anything else will require additional charges,so that will clears the air at least,because no one will expect just an oral conversation and nothing else will be provided.

Tom Moffett Plumbing have been my go to plumbers for a few years now. They have always been responsive and professional. Most recently, Jonathan came to my residence to replace some angle stops and to install a water softener. When he arrived I recognized him from a prior occasion and recalled him being very pleasant and professional. This occasion was no different. Jonathan and his colleagues, which included Nate and Connor answered any questions I had (too many to count) and put me at ease with any concerns. Jonathan was very knowledgeable, thorough, explained pricing and made no attempts to upsell any services or products.

Bonus: I had an old stove which had been sitting in my garage for some time. Dare I ask? Well I did and Jonathan and Nate happily hauled it away for me. Several days later, Jonathan and Connor returned to complete some wiring for the water softener. I had some cabinets which had just been removed due to termite damage. I asked and yes Jonathan and Connor took it off my hands. Their willingness to do this without hesitation was very much appreciated. Additionally, the guys were very good about cleaning up any debris and hauling it away as opposed to stuffing the homeowner's garbage containers.

The answer by the rep of Moffet is a perfect example of the fake mumbo jumbo bs served up by some expensive companies.. When is the last time a service truck parked in your driveway , let alone dripped oil or broke down on the way to you , I am guessing never....Typical reasonable sounding BS that costs you more....but is BS ....It adds nothing to the quality of the work done....Neither does the overhead of the secretary answering their phone...That adds to the cost...
Again , in response to Mr. Moffett...& his attempt to spin and cloud the truth with his comments...My EXPERIENCE with The EXPENSIVE Moffett plumbing is just facts, not rant......They charge a lot for jobs that can be done just as well and cheaper by others.....They have really nice trucks and their employees dress nice and have slick sales materials to present to you...YOU , the customer pay for that overhead....You can get just as quality a job from someone else without the flashy truck and high overhead....This is just Common Sense and not a rant....

They were so kind and understanding on the phone and told me they would send someone over. When Vince and Tristan arrived, they were so professional and listened to my concerns. The tech came out in response to our call for help unclogging a sewage pipe in our home. After diagnosing with a camera in the pipe, he said we have 80% sludge in the lines and needed a $729 hydrajet cleaning. We were already on the hook for a $199 service call since it's Sunday, so we were not prepared to pay nearly $1,000 to fix a clog. We asked him to just rout out the clog and he steadfastly refused. So after we paid the $199 service fee and he left (leaving his dirty rubber gloves on our front lawn), we asked a friend who has a power router to check it out. He brought over the router and cleaned out the pipe, finding a paper towel that was the culprit of the clog. No sludge, as this was only a bathroom drain pipe, not the kitchen drain pipe. We would not ever use this company again.

Tom Moffet Plumbing proved their competence, professionalism and integrity. Please read entire post.

Disappointed with Tom Moffett Plumbing. They do not back up their work. We have had fluctuation in water temperature and slow hot water since the installation of our tankless water heater. We thought it was the unit itself. Come to find out, it's the installation.

Moffett did not use a 3/4-inch (inside diameter) gas line and used the original 1/2-inch line with a 1/2-inch connector, which has an even smaller interior diameter. The manufacturer's gas connection to heater requirement specifies a MINIMUM 3/4-inch inside diameter. Anything smaller will not supply enough gas to operate a tankless heater properly. After talking to the manufacturer, they agreed and stated that the gas line should definitely be changed and Moffett did not do the installation properly. Even worse, Moffett expects us to pay a fee for them to take a look at their mistake.

FYI: For those who are happy with Moffett's work, double check their workmanship against manufacturer's specifications. We trusted them as the professionals and now we're living with a tankless heater that is not performing up to it's full potential.

Before I consider paying the service fee, I have this question. If you come out and find that the installation was not done per manufacturer's specifications and does not need to be, will you put in writing that Moffett says 1/2-inch line is sufficient and will assume responsibility if the manufacturer refuses to cover warranty because of improper installation?

I understand what you are saying about gas distribution. The way I see it, it's like a hose filling a bucket of water. The skinnier the hose, the longer it takes to fill the bucket. So, does Yorba Linda have consistently high gas pressure?

I guess it would have been nice to have been given the option to choose between manufacture's specifications for installation of an item as to not void warranty or what Moffett recommends.

UPDATE: If I could give Moffett more than 5 stars I would. They came out and rectified the problem. They ran the required 3/4-inch gas line to the tankless, installed new service valves (I didn't have any), AND performed complete service on my heater all complimentary. The service included: descaling, filter/screen cleaning, dust removal with forced air and fan scrub down. Robert not only took the time to do a thorough job, but he explained everything to us until we understood. He was very patient.

I eat my words. Moffett does back up their work and they came out today to prove it. Thank you Michael and Robert!!

I'm so impressed with their diligence and accountability, I used them again just recently for my other property to install another tankless water heater. I called them for slab leak detection. Jennifer at Tom Moffett answered the phone and quote me $59 to have a tech come out. They sent out a tech named John quoted me $999 for slab leak detection and maybe $5000 to fix the problem. Wow! What a surprise. I ended up called their competitor One Up Plumbing which Tim quote me $200 to find the leak and stop the leak. Then I can decide if I want to fix the problem. Good Job Tom Moffett. What a ripoff. Don't use this company if you want to end up like this.

My grandparents needed a plumber to come help with their shower and toilet and came across Moffett Plumbing. They were so impressed with the three men that came to help. They laid out mats and had shoe covers on. They even offered to help my grandma carry her groceries in! They fixed the issues within a couple of hours and walked the perimeter of the house to check every part of the plumbing. They were attentive to details to ensure it wouldn't cause immediate issues again. The pricing was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

I would HIGHLY recommend Moffett Plumbing & Air!

We've dealt with installs and leaks in the past and our experience has been hit or miss with plumbers. We called their dispatch to inquire about a job and they answered right away, dispatch gave us a 2 hour window for a tech to arrive and there were 2 that arrived here within 45 minutes from making the 1st phone call. Our techs Nate and Alfredo had rolled out carpet and wore booties etc. before we had even answered the door. Both of them were super polite, ran a quote, and got down to work ASAP. During the whole process they worked together, made sure to communicate with us, and they were actively cleaning as they worked just to help keep our home tidy. They truly had pride in their work and represented the company very well. I know that Moffett Plumbing & Air is family owned and local... I would highly recommend their services.

BUYER BEWARE!!! The quality of work does not match what they charge! Basic sink faucet installation, garbage disposal install with standard readjustment under the sink - near $1000. Added to that, they DID NOT WAIVE THE SERVICE FEE (just to show up at your place)... they had the nerve to add that to the egregious price. As for the quality aspect - they were in a rush, caulking was poorly done, the faucet install (after one year) is failing/leaking... I recommend that this company move to the oil-rich nation of Dubai... where their prices *may* be considered acceptable. This is what Yelp is for... to warn others.

And because the part from the manufacturer is going to take a few days, he set up a temporary water system so we can have hot water until the part arrives.

BEWARE: We have had a very poor experience with Tom Moffett plumbing. These people cannot be trusted, prey on old people and have management that will not return your call when you call to bring an issue to their attention. Shame on them! They charge a service fee of $59 to provide an estimate, but they will not give you any indication of what a well defined routine repair costs on the phone. Once they arrive, they use their 'rate card to justify extraordinarily high labor rates.

My 92 year old father discovered a clog on Sunday, Dec 11, 2011. It was a routine clog (non-main line). My dad is on a fixed income and not able to make decisions on matters like this due to his advanced age so I called Tom Moffett Plumbing who was recommended to him by a friend. I spoke with Mike Moffett on Sunday and explained the situation. In order to keep costs down, I asked him to schedule a time during regular business hours (which we did for Monday at 9:00 am). I asked how much it would cost to clean a routine non-main line toilet clog. Mike said that he would charge $59 for the visit but could not give any estimate until he looked at it. Because I had to be at work, I asked him to give me a rough cost for clearing a routine non-main line toilet clog. He said he could not provide it over the phone. I then agreed to the appointment for my father under the condition that they call me and get clearance on the cost to clear the clog before they started.

On Monday, Mike from Moffett Plumbing came to my dad's house - apparently this was another Mike - not Mike Moffett. While they said they tried to call me before starting, my cell phone showed no indication that they had called. They talked to my dad's caregiver who speaks mostly Spanish who did eventually call me. By the time I had called back it was 11:15 am. The technician told me that the work was completed and that it cost $507!!!! I asked the technician what time he arrived and he indicated 9:30 am. He told me that he had cleared a routine non-main line clog in the toilet and reset the wax seal which was leaking. No parts, other than a $5 wax seal were required. He spent an hour and 45 minutes. When I pointed out that they were charging my dad over $250 per hour (actual rate was over $285 per hour), they told me that they do not charge by the hour but used the charge from their book. It sure is strange how they now have a book listing the cost of various procedures, but they could not give me an estimate for a rountine non-mainline clog when I had called to set the appointment the day before. I told Mike that I did not feel the charge was fair or appropriate and he answered again that he charged out of the book and there was nothing further he could do. I asked for the number of his management which he gave me.

That same day (January 12) I called Moffett Plumbing and asked to speak with a manager or owner. The woman answering the phone asked me what the issue was so I explained it to her. She then said that they had followed procedure and charged from the rate card so she doubted their was anything they could do for us. I pointed out that they were charging my dad over $250 per hour for just labor. She said they do not charge per hour, they just charge by the book. I asked again to please speak with management. She told me that they wanted to first check with the technician and then she would let management know that I wanted to speak with them. I asked her to please have the owner contact me as soon as possible to resolve this. They never called.

Shame on Tom Moffett Plumbing for taking advantage of my 92 year father. I feel they betrayed the trust I put in them and do not feel they can be trusted.

Really, really expensive, and sneaky about it.
Now, I don't normally knock a company for being a premium cost company; that's fine by me.
What earns them this bad review, is that they charged me $59 to find out they're an expensive company.

I understand the general need to have a mandatory visit with service fee when someone calls with, uhhh, I have a leak, etc. That's a vague job that potentially needs a lot of on-site diagnostics.

But I told them up front *exactly* what I needed done. The woman on the phone told me that they just couldnt possibly figure out charges over the phone. So I figured okay, hourly, etc. fair enough.
But when the guy gets here, he informs me of their standard pricing sheet, and points out which item covers the work. (and then shows me the sheet)

If they have a standard pricing sheet, they should SHOW IT ON THE WEBSITE!
I called to complain,and request waiving of the service fee. The rep said that the phone people dont have access to the pricing sheet.
Well, isnt that *convenient*. For them, that is.
I complained that this was a nasty business practice, and requested that the service fee be waived. They refused. Hence, this warning to others here.

Disappointing experience with what may have been a potentially good experience thanks their hugely overpriced rate card system to gouge your wallet. It's unfortunate, too, because they seemed professional, called before arriving, were clean and seemed to know their stuff... until the so-called charges for repair. A $39 estimate fee sounds reasonable until they tell you a repair will cost literally 3 Xs what others charge! Oh, and don't question them or ask that they justify their labor costs or they'll get offended and either refer to their company rate card or just leave! Main reason for offering this review is to alert a Buyer's Beware notice to others - call around - there are tons of plumbers with realistic pricing. DON'T get ripped off!

These guys were my only plumber for 10 years until the prices went out of control. I had them out to fix leak in my sink that they installed. The first thing the guy notices is that it was not done right originally. Well, hello, your company did the install so stop complaining about your coworker and start fixing the problem. He determines that it needs to be caulked better around the rim but, get this, he does not have the right caulking on his truck. Your a plumber and you don't have caulking? Talk about lame excuses. While they were out I also got quotes on replacing two bathroom faucets and a toilet and it was $2500+. Wow! Talk about sticker shock. I couldn't believe it but the guy pulls out this little book they use for pricing and assures me that the rate I would get would be the same with every tech they have in there company. I decided to fix one faucet that was installed incorrectly (they also did the original install) but they would only split the cost with me. Very unprofessional but half is better then nothing so I scheduled the work to be done at another time. When the tech came out to put the new faucet in it was a different guy than before so just for kicks a asked for another quote on the items I was quoted for before. Low and behold the price was now $2800!!! New guy, new price. I thought they used a special book for consistent pricing? Well the lies prove it is all about making as much money as possible no matter how long you have been a customer. I guess they have to generate a lot of money to pay for those big ads in the newspaper. I will never use them again or refer them to anybody.

I had a slab leak earlier in the year and Scott came out and was amazing! Months later, I had a flood in the kitchen and once again Scott did a great job! As my luck would have it, a month after my kitchen flood, I had an issue on the opposite side of the house and this time Ricky and his apprentice Jeremy came out to fix the issue (dug up part of my yard) and did a fantastic job! Both Scott and Ricky, explained things thoroughly. Great work by the Tom Moffett team and super nice guys!

I found this company to be top notch! We have had a complete kitchen remodel with new sink, faucet, appliances, and then decided to add a whole house water filtration system to replace our under the sink unit. What an amazing difference. Tom Moffett Plumbing (TMP) came out to figure out why our sewer line (for the whole house) was stopped up. We previously had another plumbing company try to clean it with a 90-foot snake, but it didn't work. When TMP came out, they put a camera down our drain and saw that our line was plugged from tree roots where it meets the city sewer line (middle of the street, about 95 feet away). By this time, it was getting close to 7:00 PM on Saturday night. The gentleman who came out started calling around to locate their hydro-jet cutter. It was a long way away, but he said that he would be back in an hour and a half to finish the job. Sure enough, he came back with the hydro-jet and his supervisor. (Two men are required to operate the hydro-jet.) Together they worked until 10:00 PM to unstop our drain and to make sure that it was as clean as it could be.

Both men who came to our house were very easy to work with, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. All the time that they were looking at our drain with the camera, they allowed me to look over their shoulder. Besides being interesting, I could see that they were giving me the straight scoop about my drain and doing a thorough job. They were also committed to getting the job done and our house back to normal. I offered a couple times to let them go home and come back another day, but they said that late hours like that were just part of their job sometimes and they kept on working.

In the end, our house got back to normal and we had a quote for lining our sewer pipes so roots would not grow back into them again. The work was not cheap (~$750), but it was top-notch. If we hadn't had them clean the drain, they would have charged us for the camera inspection, but since we had them finish the job, they did not charge extra for the camera.

Lining our pipes makes sense because we have only been using our sewer lines for about a year, so without lining, we will likely have to go through this cleaning process annually. We also got a quote for pipe lining from another company, and they were a tad more expensive. TMP said that if we had them come out and line our pipes, they would credit us for some of the expense of cleaning because, although the cleaning was needed, it not have to be done again. That credit along with coupons on their website (be sure to check those out) brought the cost down somewhat. The cost breaks and our good experience with them cleaning our pipes helped us decide to have them come out this week to line our pipes.

Overall, we were happy with Tom Moffett Plumbing and their service and would recommend them.

Always be leery about hiring a company that advertises on the radio and/or TV. Guess who pays for those ads? Yes, us non-savvy customers who call them out to our house for service and charge more than double what our local non-advertising plumbers cost. I called them to trouble shoot my driveway flooding problem which seems to be caused by old broken clay piping running from my driveway drain to the sewer behind my backyard. Approx. 60 feet. When I called, I explained that my driveway's main drain line is backing up and asked if they can not just clear the line but troubleshoot the cause. The female phone rep told me they will send out their guys who will clear the line, then run a camera scope through it to determine where the break is for a flat cost of $90. Well, when the guys come out, their spokesman immediately tells me this is not a 'main line', it is a drain line. WTH? I could immediately tell these guys were planning on pulling a bait & switch on me. He said there was too much mud in the drain and there is no way our router will break through this, so he'll have to hydrojet the line, then he could run his camera through it. Well, his cost for jetting the line was $845.00. I found a local plumber, one who does NOT advertise on radio or TV and they quoted me $275 to hydrojet the line and another $210 to camera scope it. That is a total of $485 to do what Moffett attempted to bait & switch me into at a cost of $845.Tom Moffett Plumbing is an absolute rip-off, even though their plumber said they are cheaper than Mike Diamond who advertises even more than Moffett. I went ahead and paid Moffett $90 and told him to scram and they should be ashamed. MORAL: Do not hire a plumber who advertises on radio and/TV. YOU will pay big!

After hearing an ad on a Christian radio station, our initial contact with Tom Moffett Plumbing a year ago was for a 'running' toilet which we had them replace. We were very pleased with the service, so when we thought we heard running water in a wall, they were the plumber we called. They promptly found out it was a pinhole leak in a copper pipe, and fixed it - and also showed us where it had flooded under the house which we will have to have dried out... We would't hesitate to call them again with any plumbing concerns!

I've used Tom Moffett Plumbing a few times over the past 7 years. They always take the time to explain all the issues in detail and answer any questions that I may have. I recently had a leak inside of my wall and they took extreme care when cutting into my dry wall. While having major work done is not always pleasant on the checking account, I feel their prices are fair and they also credit their $59 service fee toward any work done. I called Tom Moffitt Plumbing on Friday to have a part installed in my hot water tank and I already had the part. The sent out their plumber Michael and he checked my hot water heater and agreed that was the problem and did not try to inflate or imbellish the cost at all. The best part is that Michael talked with my Husband while he worked about a tankless water heater to which now my husband finally agrees; so when ours finally goes out we will go tankless!! It was almost 1 hour of straight labor to install this part and when it was done, my hot water heater was done. He talked to us about flushing out our tank also. It was not cheap but the work definitely was not either! I received a professional job from a professional plumber from a professional company. These people with these bad reviews and $10 fixes, well this guy didn't come from the penny saver (!) I can tell you that much for sure and if you are worried I would ask for Michael. He's honest and does good work.

Plumbing is something that we all hate to deal with. After an unexpected mainline break, we flooded and didn't know how to go about finding a qualified plumbing company to deal with the situation. We were referred to Tom Moffett by a friend. They sent out Chris DeShields and his expertise was second to none. He reassured us that he could correct the issue and the pricing would be reasonable, he even offer great financing options that were more than reasonable. They got the job done in a total of two days and even installed some mainline cleanouts. While I hope to never have this type of major issue again, I won't hesitate to use Tom Moffett again, and would ask for Chris DeShields as my plumber.

I have used Tom Moffett Plumbing a few times over the last 10 years. They do great work and 'had' fair prices over the chains. So, I automatically called them again for adding a refrigerator water line for the new unit and to clean a slow kitchen drain. Since my last use, they added a $39 charge (which I knew about before they came, but mistakenly thought was then included in any work done). They now have a set of 10 rates they show on a fancy fold out card that they make every job fit into. They wanted over $1200 to add the refrigerator water line and that is with a discount for the high crawl space under the kitchen which would make the work easy. Wait until you see what a toilet installation costs. Then I went ahead and had the drain cleaned and it was about $175 with the fee added and all they had to do was drop the snake down the vent pipe over the kitchen. I am glad I had a gift certificate for a little of that. Let's just say I later paid $175 for a licensed plumber (he wore the booties too) to do the refrigerator water line. I did skimp and go with flex copper hose instead of soldered copper pipe, but I could have gotten the same soldered copper product for less than 1/4 the price. They have been removed from my list of possible suppliers, and only recommendations from me now will be negative. When I said the price was ridiculous, I was told I had a 1 year guarantee and they would come out and fix. I say they were safe on that. If the soldered line did not leak within 10 minutes it would not leak in 1 year. The other plumber said call anytime if a problem and he would make right. So, no written guarantee now, but I bet if 1 year and 1 month later I call him he would respond and make right. Saved most of the cost of the new refrigerator.

Have used them for several homes. Have always been expensive but you never did mind because it was done right. But in the past year I have been noticing the people they have been sending our creepers and they try and swindle you with the price. They are supposed to have a chart with them that has all the prices listed. But the past couple plumbers try and add stuff and get the extra money. They quoted a $300 price on a backed up drain and then when we challenged them on it he brought it down to $85??! Some slide on that chart, that we never saw....beware I think that the hard times is making this company desperate even though Yorba Linda is a gold mine for plumbers because of the hard water.

Brian Rowles was my technician and went above and beyond. What an asset to Tom Moffett Plumbing!

My water heater was combusting intermittently so we were forced to turn it off which meant no hot water. Tom Moffett Plumbing was the third plumber I called and they were just so great from the beginning. Jennifer answered the phone How can we make you smile today? It's the little things that make such a huge difference.

Brian was scheduled to come to my home and arrived well within the 2 hour window. I showed him the issue and he diagnosed the problem right away, which required a part to be ordered. Since it was late in the day, it would have to wait until the morning. Before Brian left, he asked me if there was anything else he could take a look at - what service!!

The next day, Brian promptly arrived (again) well within the 2 hour window and installed the new burner and even waited around to make sure it worked perfectly.

The pricing was very reasonable, straight forward, and easy to understand. Anyone reading this that needs any type of plumbing services, please call Tom Moffett Plumbing.

Disturbing experience with a positive outcome. Had an old water heater that needed replacement. Repairman from Tom Moffett showed up and immediately explained that the cost of an estimate was $60.00. In fact, he seemed obsessed about collecting this fee. I thought to myself, I don't believe I have ever been charged for an estimate. In any case, paid the repairman for the estimate. Out of frustration, I elected to install the water heater myself. Project turned out really well. So I guess I actually owe Tom Moffett a thank you. If they wouldn't have charged me for the estimate, I would have never installed the water heater myself.

This is a great company to work with. I called on Thursday morning and was given an appointment for 2:00 pm to go over the problem and get an estimate for the job. They called and said Conner was on his way about 15 minutes before 2:00. I greatly appreciated that. With knowing who was coming meant alot. Conner was very professional and friendly. He spent some time to determine were our leak in our was and what it would need to be done to stop the leak. He then gave us an estimate. What also impressed me was that he said we did not have to make a decision at that time. We did decide to have them come on Friday
Conner and his partner Vincent came on Friday and were here right on time to make the repairs. They got started and, as times things go as they originally thought, so they informed of the problem and let us know what had to be done. They did need to go back to the shop to get a couple of things that had not planned that would. They came back in a short time and got busy and finished the job. We are very please with both the work they did and the way they kept us informed. Yes I will call them again for my Plumbing needs. Thanks!!!

Our water heater gave out on us and I called Tom Moffett Plumbing. They were able to get a technician to my home the same day. Kevin showed up and explained that my water heater was over 10 years old. He provided me options from repairing to replacing my water heater. I choose to replace my water heater and he was able to do it the same day! Now I have a warranty and they come out to service my water heater each year for the next 8 years. Kevin was very knowledgeable, and professional. I can't say enough good things about this company. Every person I encountered was extremely helpful from the office staff to the technicians. On February 11, 2014 I noticed standing water in a flower bed and suspected a significant water leak. A Tom Moffett Plumbing truck was across the street at a house where I know the family is particular as to the quality of service companies they use. The truck and crew looked professional, so even though it was 2:30 PM, I have the Tom Moffett office a call.

They had a crew out to my house in thirty minutes. Cannot beat that. The lead technician, Ray, did some poking around and after we discussed his findings along with my thoughts on what the problem might be, we decided that a significant amount of dirt would need to be removed to accurately determine the root cause of the standing water. Ray gave me a cost estimate. The cost was certainly significant. What got my attention was that repair charges are calculated on the action needed, not on how long it takes to affect the repairs. I knew a lot of digging might be required with dirt that was supersaturated with water and very heavy to deal with. By this time it was 6:15 PM so we scheduled the repair for the following day.

Ray and his helper show up the next day at 9:00 AM. Once we determined the problem was two leaking fittings in a main line water pipe from the meter to the house, I knew it might take quite a while to repair and I was glad I was not going to be charged so much per hour. Ray and his helper worked until 7:15 PM. It was a messy job with their boots sometimes sinking six inches into the mud at the bottom of the excavation.

I never heard Ray nor either of his helpers complain. Their attitude remained professional and friendly. I am a hands on person and normally would have done the work myself. However, recent cancer surgery precluded my performing the types of work required. In stayed with and monitored the work the entire time they were on site. Ray said my monitoring their actions was fine with him. His cooperative attitude enabled a few minor changes along the way resulting in an even better final solution than originally planned.

I believe Tom Moffett Plumbing is a great example of getting what you pay for. I know their pricing is higher than many plumbing companies, but the quality of their work and their attention to detail is better than most companies.

I am extremely happy with Tom Moffett and will definitely use them in the future. In fact, I have already scheduled them to work on a leaking shower next week.

I've never written a review but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to rave about Moffett. We needed to line our sewer pipe from the house to the street because of continuous invasion of roots over the years.
Rudy was the first one to visit us and he used the camera to assess the damage.
He was very professional and friendly and took the time to sit with me to explain what needed to be done. It was extremely costly but I knew it had to be done. Ray then came and took the time to go over it again with me. I had gotten other bids that were less but because of the personal and professional contact with Rudy and Ray I knew I wanted to go with them. Rachel was very helpful in working with the price and once again very friendly and personal. It felt like family. I just knew this is who I wanted to do the job. Adam was the one who actually did the job and again was very professional and friendly. They continually informed me what they were doing. During the 2 days it took they were very respectful and left everything clean.
I would highly recommend them from my experience and they deserve 5 Stars

I am never disappointed! We have had them out to the house 4 times now, and every technician has been polite, prompt, courteous, clean, and patient! They thoughtfully explained everything to me thoroughly in terms I could understand, cleaned up after the job, and were pleasant.

I was especially pleased with our water heater replacement which ended up being an urgent middle of the night job. They were at my house within an hour of calling them and two hours later, I had a new water heater fully installed and functional.

We have also had a toilet replaced and a pressure regulator replaced. All the work has been excellent quality and completed in a timely manner.

If you have a bit of plumbing work you need to have done, it is totally worth it to sign up for their Family Plan for discounts, a free inspection, waived service call fees, and extra super quick service!

Came 15 minutes late from time window give, which wasn't a problem. Arrived with two plumbers who were very kind and made me feel comfortable. I had a clogged toliet and they fixed it in about 20 mintues. I liked that they wore shoe protectors or booties, everything was clean after they left and all the prices were pretty straight forward.
It was a $40 service fee and the cost of the actual job was $133 + the 15% discount for new customers. So the total was $152. It seems pretty expensive. They let me know why I had problems uncogging it myself and told me a little about drains and calcium build up etc which I appreaciated. Overall very professional and polite.

The crew, under the direction of Renea, arrived every day on time and worked late into the night to insure that we had water for Christmas Eve and Christmas. They were upfront with their pricing and a joy to work with.

We called Tom Moffett plumbing to fix a slow draining kitchen sink, they gave us a 2 hour window, called 30 mins before arrival and sent me the name, photo and a link to a bio for the guy who would be coming to the house.

Chris did a great job, he put on shoe covers before coming into the house, cleared the block in the pipe (turned out to be a grease buildup, ooops) and let me see what was going on in the pipe on his camera. He offered a maintenance product but we declined.

Woke up to a constant drip in my kitchen ceiling. Called Tom Moffett and they called me within 10 minutes to schedule someone to come by. Jonathan, our plumber, came within an hour or so. I'm glad they were able to come by right away. Jonathan was friendly and detailed what he was going to do. He cut out a section of the ceiling and pinpointed the problem. He gave me straightforward pricing and fixed the leak. Jonathan had a very pleasant personality. Very friendly. I would highly recommend him. Also, Jennifer, whom I talked to on the phone was pleasant and helped me during this situation that no homeowner would like to experience.

I've dealt with a couple other plumbing companies for other reasons, but Tom Moffett has been by far the best. I'm going to stick with them.

We had just bought a house built in 1965 as-is since it was a probate sale. Upon moving in the main drain backed up and was not draining at all. We called Moffett Plumbing on a Friday night at about 6:00pm and they arrived within 30 minutes. The existing waste drain piping in the house is a combination of old cast iron in poor condition and some horribly done ABS piping installed previously by someone else, both of which merge into a clay main line from the house to the sewer main in the street. The clog was a combination of large tree roots in the clay main line and a cast iron system that literally made an S under the house. On top of this there are no cleanouts anywhere in or around the house. The clog was so sever they worked from 6:00pm until 11:00pm to get the line cleared enough so it would drain, allowing my wife and I to shower and use the restroom. They came back the next day, Saturday, and dug up the intersection of the cast iron and clay piping, cleared the pipe with a water jet and installed a liner in the main line. Using a liner in lieu of replacing the main line saved us a large amount of money and the liner comes with a very long warranty so we essentially have a new main line. These guys worked hard, late on Friday night and all day Saturday, did excellent work, were very nice professional guys and charged a very fair price for a tough job. I work for a large industrial general contractor so I have a full understanding of construction and these guys impressed me for being very professional and great to work with. This was a nightmare job and the guys from Moffett kept a great attitude from start to finish. Throughout the entire process they explained what they were running into, showed me the inside of the pipes multiple times using a video camera, gave me a detailed estimate and ended with a very fair final cost. First, I take responsibility for agreeing and signing off on the cost of a plumbing repair project prior to the plumber starting the job. I simply didn't do my homework with a quick online assessment of the potential cost of a relatively small, straight forward project prior to the plumber arriving. I'm writing this review to simply alert future customers to the charging system and practices by the Tom Moffett Plumbing Company. The issue was a leaking water pressure relief valve (PRV) in the garage. The retail cost for the PRV was approximately $250 (Zurn Wilkins 114-NR3XLDU). As mentioned, I agreed to the company's standardized billing system which is based on a 10 tier cost structure. In this case, the cost for replacing the water PRV was considered a level 10 project. The total cost came to $1990. The total time it took for the plumber to replace the PRV was approximately 2 hours. Following the installation, I attempted to work in good faith with the company representative to reach an agreement for an adjusted cost settlement. Unfortunately, we weren't able to achieve a mutual agreement. My word of caution for future customers is simple. First, take a few minutes online to research an approximate cost for parts and installation time. Second, fully understand the company's standardized billing structure before agreeing to the repairs.

After having written my previous review, I would like to retract it. We had several people call from Tom Moffett after the review was posted. They have gone over and above rectifying the issues that we had with the drains not being opened up the 1st & 2nd time. A service manager came with the technician to talk to my husband regarding the trouble and resolutions they were going to take to solve the clogging issues. On Sunday morning, Matt and David were at our house at 10:30 to dig up the yard to the main line. They ran the cameras through the drain to find the clog. They then were able to break up the clog and clear our drains. They will be giving us a quote to replace pipes but were at least able to resolve our issue in the interim. They were extremely committed to good customer service and stood by their word that they would unclog our drain. I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing good service and friendly/knowledgeable technicians. Thank you for helping us and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Tom Moffett Plumbing (TMP) was referred to me by Handyman Connection, my regular service provider, since slab leaks are beyond the services they provide. When I called TMP and mentioned the referral, they put me on top of their service calls, so I was able to get a technician out the next morning (less than 24 hours wait).

The work: Joe, the technician who came out with his assistant was highly professional. Together, they did a satisfactory inspection of all areas that could be affected by the slab leak, checked the water meter to confirm for leak, determined the location where the leak source stemmed. The next day, they repaired the leak. Two days later, after the new concrete has fully dried, they were back to replace the portion of the dry wall they worked with and re-laid the carpet. In all this time, they kept my home clean by using plastic sheeting to isolate any dust. The jack hammering itself did not produce a lot of dust since they tamped it with wet rags. They always used booties before entering my home, and laid their red carpet on the area that they walked on.

The technician: Joe and the assistants who came with him were easy to talk with and were friendly. Joe thoroughly explained the work they were to perform and the details of the line-item charges (the total cost with the $100 Yelp coupon was about $2100). Joe answered my questions to my satisfaction, and provided me additional relevant information.

I will be engaging TMP again, specifically Joe, to install water pressure regulator on my water line. I am quite confident that the quality of work and materials used will be at par with what I've seen.

The customer phone service: They could do with improving their phone skills. I didn't care for the snippy tone that the rep had when they called me to say that the technician was on his way. The second rep placed me on hold to pick up another call, but I had to hang up because I've been on hold for at least two minutes already. At least the phone customer service rep called me back after five minutes of me hanging up. As these are the first-line link between TMP and the customer, the phone service reps need to extend the same professionalism and courteous attitude as their field technicians.

I had a Code 11 on Rinnai heater. Scott and Jason spent an hour and half on the phone with manufacturer, but could not solve the issue. We need parts and parts were not available due to Covid-19. For all that, i was charged $59- UNLIKE the other contractor who spent 30 min, could not solve the issue and charged me $250. I bought a new Rinnai and called for Scott to install. The next day, Scott and Jason showed up at 4pm. They knew it was going to be tight on time, they got on it right away. Got it installed and working in two and half hours. I Truly appreciate their can do attitude. Highly recommend Scott and Jason.. DO NOT PAY ANYONE else who charges higher than Tom Moeffet for initial visit.

We had just bought our home and wanted to simply put in some new toilets. I was done with DIY so I reached out to Mike at Tom Moffett Plumbing. He quickly sent out one of his crew. They were quick, professional, and courteous. I was going to go with basic hardware but they convinced me of upgrading my choices and I was happy they did. More importantly, though, as part of their work, they did a check of all our plumbing and found that the water pressure from the street was too high, to the point it could eventually burst. They installed s new regulator (please forgive my lack of industry terms), and all was good after. We'd highly recommend them for your plumbing needs. Fair, professional and dependable. Updated review. Thank you Mr Moffett for the hot shower!!!! My water heater took a dump and I had to wash my hair in cold water super early in the morning. Burrrrr. My husband called and while I was at work they came and installed a brand new one for half the price I thought it would be.

Truly unbelievably, you wouldn't think such a wonderful thing could happen right after a tragedy but this plumbing company made it happen(and in under an hour)!!!!!
Our sink was backing up!!! My only work uniform was in the washer. The dishwasher was running and water started pouring out everywhere, inside and out. My husband who works in the industry had exhausted all his resources. The owner Mike showed up and everything is better than new.

With Plumbing, Quality is everything and TM plumbing is exactly what I was expecting. Prompt service and integrity. We had a major problem at one of our apartment complexes we own and these guys took a look and solved the problem for us. They have the know how and the equipment to get the job done right. I like the service plan they offer too, makes me feel like I have my own personal plumbing team. I recommend them to everyone I know. These guys aren't the cheapest company, but they most certainly are not the scam plumbing company Ive unfortunately experienced before (George Brazil). You should read this review despite it's length. I'm in corporate sales and I work with customers all day. It is never the initial offer from a vendor that matters so much as the company that stands behind the offer when things go wrong and they inevitably go wrong. We had a leak in our 7 year old house and we called Tom Moffett this past summer to fix it based on reviews. The original plumber that came out misdiagnosed the issue. Close but not quite. Short story, it was a temp fix that was bound to leak again. So the work seemed good but in fact it was not. Sure enough 5 months later, we had a water spot in the same ceiling from above. When we called, I could tell by the tone that they might be resistant to stand behind their warranty and I was concerned. The new and different plumber initially diagnosed that problem was in the pipe and not the toilet and thus we were liable ($800 liable on top of the hundreds I paid for the last shoddy job). Well my wife insisted he determine the source of leak and upon closer inspection it was the toilet and related to the prior work. To his credit and Tom Moffett's, they admitted to their fault and repaired it all at no cost. Here's the key ...after that he was very kind to my wife and rather than just fix the toilet, they replaced the entire pipe up to the toilet with everything new at considerable cost to themselves. They are also covering the cost for a pro crew to fix the drywall damage. Their policy is to not just repair the work but to do it right so there isn't a problem again. They lost money on us ultimately (due to their own mistake) but they gained my respect and admiration . I'm giving them 4 stars for that and taking one off for missing it the first time. The initial guy did his best but it was a 2 man job and frankly I understand. These things aren't always easy but as I said, it's what happens when you are in the wrong. I would use them again which says a lot. However, always be on top of any vendor as no one knows your problem better than you sometimes. They are not the cheapest plumbers but they do a great job when properly diagnosed and they stand behind their work and are honest. I don't mind paying if I feel someone is delivering a fair and honest service at a reasonable price.

These guys are great! We have a 60 year-old house that we purchased in ill-repair. We knew the plumbing would be an issue as previous owners had made absolutely no improvements. When the drains started gurgling and backing up, we knew it was time to find a plumber. I am sure there are lots of good plumbers out there, but we called Tom Moffett. With sewage backing up into our showers, the guys showed up, about 2 hours after my call to them. They quickly went to work and figured it out. They jet cleaned our sewer line (costs about $800). Our pipe was bad, so they recommended lining it with Perma-liner. We knew this was going to need to be done eventually anyway. That cost - A LOT! No matter who you go with, it's going to cost a lot. They applied to cost of the jetting to it, so we didn't have to pay for that at least. The boss man also cut the cost down from the original quote. They completed the work quickly and neatly - all within the estimated time they told us. Chris even went to the home improvement store to purchase new weed-guard fabric to replace what they had to pull up from our front flower bed! Above and beyond in my opinion. My husband and I are very happy with their workmanship and professionalism.

The two young men who came to my home were very nice. On the other hand the price was ASTRONOMICAL! Your ad says family owned and operated but what about the families you are truly not being fair with. It is a crying shame. To remove the toilet, put on a new flange and wax ring and replace toilet was close to $1000.00 ($989.00 to be exact). By the way that is not cutting tile or anything else. So sad for so many people. I'm truly disappointed!

I would give friendly service a 7 star out of 5, but the price of everything is like a knife in the back. The guys at Tom Moffet work really hard and are reliable when you hire them. Thing is, I can hire someone for the same jobs at 1/3 of the price. How reliable would it be? Probably not as reliable with no warranty, so I'm really paying for a peace of mind also.

However, one of the issues was my shower was dripping and needed a fix. They fixed it, but it started leaking again that very night. Now I have to contact them again about that, and hope that it's not another problem and will break my bank even more. But the plumber did work really hard at it and made it look really nice by the end of the day when it was done.

Friendly, reliable and professional. Just make sure you have thousands of dollars saved up just for plumbing repairs... or hundreds if it's a minor fix. Personally, I'm going to need to sell my house or find another plumber at this rate.

We had a slow flow in our master bath and kitchen sink for the past 7 years we have lived in our house. The house is 40 years old and since the flow wasn't unmanageable we didn't see a big concern to fix it. We did a lot of searching for plumbers in our area but never acted on getting the problem fixed because we thought it was going to be a crazy amount of money. After contacting TMP they got back to me within a day to set up an appointment for them to inspect the problem. They told me the initial problem and said it was relatively easy to fix. The were very quiet and professional when working on the faucets. Within a couple hours the problem was fixed and now the sinks flow like they were brand new. Not only was TMP professional but they were very affordable. They were kind and on time and I will definitely hire them again.

Terrible experience and would not use their services again. The plumber recommended services that were unnecessary and could not complete the work that we asked to have done. $166.00 to snake one sink drain that actually was not even clogged. Left my cook-top in a non-working condition as had discovered one additional leak (there were 2 small leaks) and was going to charge us more for the additional work even though he quoted us over $350.00 for the leak and hose replacement. With the services of the snaked bathroom sink drain and replacement hose, the charges exceeded more than $550.00. Decided to call in another plumber who completed all the work with parts and labor + some extra work we requested all for under $300.00. Would never recommend this company and only went with them because of their advertising on a Christian radio station. Nothing Christian about their business and only redeeming factor was that they refunded their fees but that was a fight too with their office.

Had TMP come out to check my water heater, I told them I suspect the pressure valve, the plumber said its possible and said also it might be the water heater. he put in a new pressure valve in less then 15 mins. however it failed and water continued to leak. I need the new water heater! they quoted me 4000k for a water heater!!! are they completely crazy! they also charged me 333 for the failed water pressure valve that took 15 mins to remove and install. THIS PLACE IS A PURE RIP OFF. I called them because my wife heard their commercial as it was on the FISH radio station. Don't use them unless you don't care about the cost. I contacted HOME DEPOT and they will install a 75 gallon tank total for 1435.00 with a 3 year in home warranty. oh yeah TMP says they will come out once a year for the 4000k and service the tank, and also look at other plumbing issue to try and sell you a boat load of expensive plumbing work. NO THANKS!!! DON'T USE THIS PLACE WAY TO EXPENSIVE.

Very pleasant doing business with this company! The technician who did the work (replacing my kitchen faucet) was very pleasant as well as knowledgeable, thorough, and professional.

I initially had sticker shock when presented with the price, but after seeing the quality of the fixture and the time spent analyzing the problem, followed the next day by expert and timely installation work (taking a total of several hours) and the amenities provided to the worker by the company to complete the work in a professional manner, I would not hesitate to call them again for any plumbing needs. More companies should pay attention the this type of quality and customer service.

I highly recommend this company for consideration of all your plumbing needs. While certainly not the cheapest you'd be able to find, they are by far the best I've ever dealt with and well worth the additional costs when considering everything they did. Chris, the technician who performed the on-site work, was a pleasure, and explained the entire process in an understandable and forthright way.

After having numerous disappointing encounters with other plumbers, we called Tom Moffett Plumbing several years ago. Although we found that their prices were sometimes higher than their competitors, we have stayed with them because they are thorough, honest, and dependable. There is never any pressure to purchase or to do work that can wait or is not necessary. The workers are respectful, and they take special care to protect the flooring, even wearing coverings on their shoes to keep the soil level down.

We have them inspect all of our plumbing once a year, and often they have told us that a problem is in the works but that it can wait a year or more before we will have to deal with it. Our house is over 50 years old, and we replaced the original toilet a few days ago, as well as a second toilet that had been a replacement about 30 years ago. The plumber told us that the original toilet was still functioning with no problem, but we needed a new shut-off valve. We decided that we wanted a more water efficient toilet, and we were charged only half price for the second toilet.

We always get a coupon for $10 off on future service, too.

My water heater went out. It was Saturday afternoon. I thought it is going to take forever to get a plumber over here . I called Tom Moffett and they had a plumber over in less than an hour.
He was very professional in his apperance and his courtesy. He took the time to explain exactly what he was going to do. He then went back to this truck and brought in a very impressive work bag full of tools. In under 5 minutes he had my water heater a part. He then showed me what he thought the problem was and fixed it. Just like that I had got hot water again! This young man was so nice and his expertise was amazing. He told me he was a 2nd generation plumber. His father taught him well. I was expecting some slob trying to sell me a new water heater whether I needed one or not. I have never used Moffett Plumbing services and I am almost at a loss for words on how pleased I am with the service I received. Vince and Justin did a fantastic job clearing my main line drain backup. During the process they were friendly, communicative and professional. I contacted them to get their $ 99 special to get their video camera in my house sewage, they change the date on me, three times, I was super patient, I really wanted to get their deal, I ended up canceling when their sales person told me that they will have to change the date again because they had to honor their contracts with some customers and didn't have enough plumbers. I was basically at the end of their priorities and that didn't feel good. If you can't honor your word then don't advertise it. My time is as valuable as theirs , they wasted my time and stressed me out. I ended up finding an unbelievable great plumber after you flaked on me. So I guess at least for that I give you one star.

Their price is high and they take their sweet time so they can charge more to cover the money they paid Angie's and the so called discount they give to Angie's members. ( I have since canceled my membership at Angie's due to false advertising and fake reviews )

Tom Moffett Plumbing installed a new kitchen faucet and water filtration system for us. ( We provided the hardware). The installation labor alone cost $626. The worst part is that they did it wrong and took 2 long hours! We hired another plumber to reinstall and correct Tom Moffett Plumbing's mistake. I did not ask them to return because there will be additional trip and labor charges even to correct their own mistakes.

Bonus: Tom Moffett Plumbing's Home Xpert junk mail arrives at my mailbox regularly now and I can't even unsubscribe!

Nate Murphy came out to our Rental in Fullerton, and totally fixed the problem. My mom and sister happen to be out renters, and combined they are a force to be reckoned with! Rudy from Moffet plumbing was excellent. On time, super professional, extremely knowledgeable, organized, and successfully repaired my shower quickly and easily. He introduced himself to me immediately, wore booties inside my house, did his due diligence, was very respectful, very thorough, and easy to work with. Over the phone was quoted $90 and when they came out they wanted over $500. Asked them not to do anything and the plumber tried to haggle the price. Was still quoted over more then what the original quote was. Three hours later and nothing done he still wanted to charge $90 for just driving. Asked him to just snake it at that point wanted to just be done with this awful experience!!!! I would never recommend them. I should have called Mike Diamond I've never once had a problem with them.

I had a slow sewer line. I called TMP as they advertise on the Christian Radio station that I listen to. I told the receptionist that I did not have a clean out line and that it would either have to go through the roof or the toilet. I made the appointment for the next day. As I was waiting for the technician to call to say he was on his way, I received a call from the office stating someone called in sick and they would have to cancel my appointment and re-schedule for the next afternoon or even in two days. We are talking sewer line here and I would not have bathroom facilities if it totally stopped. No apology from the receptionist. So I rescheduled for the next afternoon. The technician came out on time the following day, was a very nice gentleman. He said he could not go on the roof as it was a two man job and he was by himself (I told them about the roof access on the phone) and he could not get his machine through my bathroom door. Ok I realize I need a clean out line. He quoted me almost $5,000 for just a clean out line. Said it was a two day job. When I balked at the price, he said he could reduce it by around $800. Still that was a lot more than I was expecting. I told him I would have to get a second estimate. He replied that no one else could do it any cheaper. Then I was charged $65 for the estimate call (would be deducted if I had them do the work). I gave him $70 cash and did not get any change. I called another plummer that did the same work for a friend and for much less cost. They came out and did the work for $1000 and did it in one afternoon.

Easy to schedule service with them and the support staff was in touch with me before our service technicians arrived to let us know they were running a bit behind.

Brian and Jason were assigned to our call. They were both very friendly and professional. Wore masks inside and outside of the property and wore shoe protectors once inside the home.

We called them for a sewer inspection. While there they explained all of the steps, explained and described what they saw along the sewer lines and helped us understand any areas that may be of concern. They provided quotes for a potential problem area so we would know how much the issue could cost to repair.

We also had them look at an issue in the bathtub and asked for a quote for an upgrade to the main water line shut off. They were thorough and informative and took the time to explain the issue and provide a quote for repair/upgrade.

We were really pleased with Brian and Jason's service and demeanor. Both were very kind, helpful, and professional.

I called them few weeks ago regarding a possible leakage in my house. I wanted to confirm whether there is a leakage and to locate it if any.

They showed up on the same day I called. However,
1- They didn't run any leakage detection. Instead, the plumber said the leakage (by his experience) is in the underground pipe.
2- Instead, they did some tests I didn't ask for the water quality.
3- I got a quote for only detecting and locating the leak for almost a thousand dollar and the proposed repair by rerouting the entire water line for about $4k.
4- I asked to receive this quote. I was told I will receive it by email. I didn't.

This is not the worst part !

I called another company who came and DID the leak detection (with a much less price than the $1000). The interesting part is that the leakage is actually caused by minor issue in the toilet flush that anyone can replace the whole flush mechanism in few minutes !!! In the meantime, I was given a quote to replace the entire pipeline and it wouldn't have fixed the actual problem !!!

UPDATE
I received a check from Moffett with the payment I made plus a gift card for future work.
This is a good customer care act. Thus, I revised my review to 3 stars. I'll consider working with them in future if I got something in future.

We heard about Tom Moffett Plumbing on the Fish radio station and decided to try them for the first time. Matt showed up on time and ready to work on clearing our clogged kitchen drain. Our clogged drain unfortunately turned into a much bigger problem and required 2 days of extensive work. I have never seen anyone work harder than Matt, he was 100% committed to solving the problem and never gave up. He was extremely mindful of the rest of of our home and worked around our family as to not interfer with our needs. He was very polite and friendly and cleaned the work area above and beyond what was to be expected. We would highly recommend Tom Moffett Plumbing to anyone and would definitely call them in the future if needed.

A technician was sent out to evaluate a leak. The situation was evaluated (put a hole through the drywall) and my niece and sister were informed that there was a pipe that needed to be rerouted. I spoke to the technician on the phone and was given a $5000 quote and was told it was an all day job. A $500 deposit was requested at the time, for a total of $5500. I decided to get a second estimate. I found a plumber who completed the job in 2 hours for $2500, and it is quality work. I received a $23 refund as I was informed that $388 was charged for accessing the pipe/locating the leak and an $89 service fee was charged. This company is a total rip off.

In response to your response, I followed up with my niece and she informed me that the technicians were there from approximately 9:15 to 10:30 and she would have no reason to lie. I do recall talking to one of your technicians right before he left and it was approximately that time. If your technicians want to fabricate how long they were there that isn't my problem. So it takes 3 hours to open the CORRECT wall and find a leak. That is laughable. I contacted your technician later in the day and informed him that I would not be using your company. He referenced the $500 as a deposit, and not for any work that had been done. He said he would have your office call me. Maybe if you had been there you would have seen what time they left. The other plumber didn't put a band-aid on it either. I'm not going to continue to engage in a back and forth with you, suffice it to say I won't be contacting your company any further.

I needed to replace my bathroom faucet. One company couldn't give me an estimate over the phone & didn't offer to schedule an appointment, 2 others wanted me to leave a message & would get back to me, I didn't leave a message. I like talking to real people, even if it is just to have my call returned. Tom Moffett had a real person I could talk to, she was nice sounding & friendly. I was scheduled for the next day. They sent Chris, nice guy, personable & knowledgeable. Installed the faucet without any problems. If I need a plumber I will call them again. Also, this wasn't an emergency & I was calling in the morning during business hours on a weekday.

Shady! Don't wast your time with this company. We needed a quote for a big plumbing job and it turned into a huge sales pitch into what we needed to do and then they kept calling to see if were ready to have them take on the job. They were the most untrustworthy company out of 7 ones we vetted through and i would not recommend them to anyone.

A free quote was promised and then he tried to charge almost $500 dollars just to provide the quote (Lateral Pipe Repair) and when i refused he said okay then he decided to do it for free when i told him i would not pay that for a quote. Upon them leaving, he then said there was a $70 service fee charge after i had been told it was a free quote. He again said, okay don't worry about the service fee I just imagine all the people they go around giving free quotes to and then spinning last minute charges unless you say no to them.

Very unethical and untrustworthy. Not to mention they were the most expensive quote out of 7 companies.

Do not use for backflow inspection. Over $200
The plumber took apart backflow device, said it was broken and charged $250 plus dollars. I have had the backflow inspection from various plumbers every year as required by city. It always passed and never cost more the $75 dollars. Call someone else and save yourself a headache

Don't use Tom Moffett Plumbing. No customer loyalty. We have used TMP in the past with plumbing charges exceeding $3000. Performance was average and included hours of chatter and sales pitching.
When we called them for service on a water heater that was not warming the water, the technician said the water heater needed to be replaced. When he was asked if it was still under warranty, the technician said NO. We paid $1700+ for a new water heater. Turns out, the old water heater was still under warranty and should have been replaced at no charge. TMP said their technician did not know about the warranty because they were not the original vender. He might have pointed out this fact and saved us $1700. Don't use Tom Moffett Plumbing. No customer loyalty.

They send you a text message of the tech that will be servicing you & a little summary about them which I think is a nice touch. I used Moffett Plumbing twice at two different houses a few years apart (2013 and 2015), and I have been so pleased. Both times, the plumbers were knowledgeable, thorough and exceedingly polite. They really respected my home. They fixed multiple issues on both occasions, but I never felt like they were upselling me; these issues needed to be addressed. It was also easy to schedule with them even though we live in South County. Their business simply runs smoothly. I will definitely continue to use them for our plumbing needs. Thanks guys!

Kevin asked me to write a Yelp review, but I doubt he realized what I'd say.
To address a few of the other Yelp issues, in my experience: yes they are expensive and they do upsell. In their defense, they do a good job on the plumbing and sales is a part of their profession.
That being said, they came out and did a big ($$$) job at my parent's house. They were professional and got it done quickly.
About 6 weeks after the job, I noticed that a piece of furniture (antique dresser), that they moved had been quite damaged. I called them up and Kevin came out. He looked at it, took pictures and after a few phone calls said they'd reimburse the purchase price, which was agreeable to me. That was a few weeks ago, and despite leaving a follow up message, as Kevin asked me to do, I've not received the check.
I'm not going to continue to hound them to honor their word, and am disappointed in their lack of integrity.
Their actions in this regard raise the question, which any potential customer reading this review might consider, is this how they'd respond to a plumbing issue that needed re-fixing?

But I'm writing today because they all went above and beyond - Kevin found someone to do the dry wall repair, the same day! Yelp removed my first review for not being a first hand customer so this is my first hand story. I called Tom Moffett customer service to complain about a quote they gave my mother-in-law to fix a leaky angle valve and toilet bobber. They returned my call promptly and explained that $700-900 was a reasonable cost for their exemplary work and quality parts. I told them it cost me $21 in parts and an hour of my non professional time and they should be ashamed of themselves. Their customer service explained the quote was not excessive but did offer to refund the cost of having someone come out for a quote. The owner even came back out to speak to my mother-in-law to refund in person. He also admitted on Facebook they made a mistake, something their customer service never agreed to. Overpriced. But quality of work is good.

Their explanation as to why their prices are so high is because they have too many employees and equipment. So to offset their pricing, they make their customers pay for it.

Be weary of companies like Moffett that take advantage of their customers when they have a problem.

They ask if they could look at other things in your house to fix to try and upsell you.

Suggestion is just have them fix what you called them for and nothing else.

When I called to address their overpriced scheme; their excuse was that they have way too much overhead and cannot sustain a business with better prices. They provided a small discount, but for what I was paying for, I am now sure we could have gotten the job done much cheaper and at more of a decent price.

I had occasion once again to use Tom Moffett Plumbing. One sink & one shower were draining very slowly. As always i had a plumber arrive the same day I called at the agreed upon time. Both drains were successfully snaked & now flow freely. I even bought a new bottle of Bio Smart to keep all my drains running smoothly. The cost is not cheap, but the service and convenience of a dependable company keep me as a loyal customer.

I called Tom Moffett plumbing because I heard about them on the fish radio station and thought that they were not just after your money but I was wrong. They get you to call with there promo 95 dollar drain clearing with free video inspection but as soon as they are at your house they charge you a lot more then that. For example: if they have to just go under your sink that'll be an extra charge. They are ridiculous and honestly at the end of it all they take advantage of us. I would ever recommend them to anyone. Worst experience I have ever had with a service company. I honestly feel robbed... I strongly recommend you find another plumber and contact them...

This is the second time we have used Moffett plumbing. The first was back in December when our hot water heater went out. I am sorry to say I cannot remember the names of the two gentlemen who came to do the replacement, but they were courteous and professional the entire time they were here to complete the job.
Yesterday, I had a new refrigerator delivered and was disappointed to find out that the water valve which needed to connect to the ice maker was not operable and was told by the delivery men to call a plumber. My husband suggested we call Moffett again. Rachel took my call and was so sweet and friendly and got me all set up for a next day service call, making sure I knew up front about the $59 service call. Ray arrived on time and, just like the first crew, was so friendly, courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem, was very clear in what the cost would be to repair it and let me know he was going to have to cut into the drywall - making sure I was able to make an informed decision with no surprises. I am happy to say that my new refrigerator is dispensing water and making ice cubes!

I scheduled our annual water heater inspection. Levi came out, conducted the inspection and also installed an expansion tank on our water heater. My water softener has never worked right. I got it about a year and a half and for at least six months our water has been very hard and never had to add salt. Got tired of regenerate it myself so I called Moffett they have a service fee to start and then a menu of supposed repairs. The techs were very nice but except for measuring the water pressure and the hardness of the water they didn't do anything I hadn't already done many times. They called their supervisor and they agreed the machine was not reparable. They made no effort to actually fix it. They then calculated an exorbitant price on a new new system which I rejected. Basically I paid money for nothing. Very disappointing.

Bad, bad, bad.

Why we called - a running toilet.

First knock, they do not apply their $59.00 service fee towards any work. I paid $59.00 for five minutes of this plumbers time just so he could quote me two to three times much as other professionals.

Second knock, they quoted $230 to change out one part of the toilet. One little part. So total was going to be over $300.00 to fix one part.

Third knock, they would not tell me the costs over the phone. They make you have the person come out to give the quote.

Similar quotes ranged from $150 - $200. Go with anyone else besides Tom Moffett plumbing unless you're into getting ripped off. I'll give my business to a morally straight company like Cleveland Plumbing, Purdy Pluming or Mitch Clemmons Plumbing. Each of whom provided a quote based on what I explained to them over the phone and whose prices were all similar and competitive.

My house is about 50 years old. Since it is a single story on a slab, we have 50 year old pipes taking nasty stuff away from the house. Well, my three year old son recently learned how to wipe his own butt. That means a lot of toilet paper going into the potty.

Yep, you guessed it, we had a clog. My wife called our home warranty people to get a plumber to come thinking this would be the cheap and easy way to go. The plumber came to the house and saw that we do not have a clean out for the back bath. He called his company, and we found out that our home warranty insurance has a major coverage exception. So, the plumber who was there said he would run a snake from the roof down the toilet vent. He said $450 for the snake.

I had used Tom Moffett before. They guys were really nice and everything. They scoped the pipes from our front bath to the street and told me I should consider a hydrojet cleaning of the iron pipes. After seeing the 50 year old crud, I said ok. However, they were not able to do the job because of a bend in the pipe. I still had to pay for the work. I was not totally pleased.

This time the issue was with the back bath. Again they scoped the pipes. Again they found 50 year old crud in that section of pipe. Again they recommended hydrojet treatment. I said I was pretty disappointed last time because they were not able to finish the job and I still had to pay full boat. I also pointed out that they could have gone through the back bath vent all the way to the street last time. I did not think it was fair that I had to pay the full price two times in approximately 8 months.

The tech called his manager. He came back with a compromise. I would pay for only the additional work that they had to do on top of what was already done. I would have paid this anyway the first time, so I think it was a very fair solution to my issue.

After jetting, the pipes all the way to the street looked clean. Hopefully, I will not have to call a plumber any time soon, but when I do, I will call Tom Moffett Plumbing. They are not cheap, but I think they are thorough, timely, and conscientious.

I just spoke to Rachel. Yes she does start off with How can we make you smile?. After explaining at some length what we needed in our home Rachel of course asked for name, address, phone. Letting this info go, she then informs us that there will be a small service charge of $59.

I told Rachel that it might be important to work that into her speech before gaining the customers personal info. Because some potential customers, include me, don't pay service fees for estimates. I know some people think that is okay, not me, not in this economy, and definitely not when the idea is introduced at the end of the speech.

If some think that of course they need to charge for the estimate, that nothing is being done in the manner to deceive, then I say, tell them upfront, if they stay on the phone, they now have a qualified customer!

Rachel is great at what she does. She is very pleasantly and took my thoughts to pass them on.

I find it interesting how many people believe that they can get a qualified individual to their residence and it costs NOTHING?! My high school economics teacher explained it this way; There is no such thing as a free lunch! Everybody charges for their time, the fact is that most companies will claim that an estimte is free but their price will reflect their time spent giving that estimate and possibly several others as they need to be paid for their time and for fuel. There are no plumbing companies in the Orange County area that give their services away without making a profit. That being said, the techs' time for giving an estimate has to be made up somewhere, usually on the back end of his invoice. We prefer to be up front and honest with our costs of doing business. The fact that you gave us 2 stars without experienceing our services first hand is somewhat suspect. But then again, that's par for the course with Yelp! Check out our reviews on Angies' List and compare... we have been awarded the Super Service Award 2 years in a row and are on track to receive it once again. I appreciated your recorded rant when dealing with my Office manger, but to post it on line is just childish.

I was clear as to the validity of my experience. I only rated as I felt was appropriate on the topic. I doubt based just on the phone interaction that I needed to go further with this company.

It was constructive information as I viewed it. As far as the recorded rant, I doubt his Office Manager would characterize it as such.

Scott came over to my house recently to fix a leak issue I had. He was very informative and walked me through the whole process that was going to happen. He was very diligent and cleaned up his mess. I had my shower head pipe torn when removing the showerhead. Rudy and his co-worker came to replace it. While they were there, I asked them to check on the other bathtub's faucet, leaking a bit while water was running. They replaced the pipe and shower head, plus adjusted my Faucet on the other bathtub within a couple of hours. As part of the $87 call fee, they did a quick walkthrough to check on dwelling water pressure and water heater. I was happy with their service, and Rudy was very professional. Rudy explained the process of what they were going to do to fix my issues.

Our rental house needs the main line to the sewer snaked about once a year. Our landlady usually has us call Tom Moffett and we've always been happy. She's always trying to get more bang for her buck, so a while back she called some other company to do the job; they wouldn't do it because it required climbing on the roof to access the vent line, so we called Moffett again.

I had some work done by that smell good company once, and it was adequate, but I didn't get the friendly feeling I get with Moffett's crew.

A few weeks ago I had to have work done on another property (and this time I was spending my own money, not my landlady's), so of course I called Tom Moffett. The crew called ahead and arrived promptly. (It's interesting to see how the company has taken on a more professional appearance over the years.) They were competent, thorough, fast and friendly. I'm very happy with Tom Moffett Plumbing and I see no reason to use any other plumbing company.

He called us to enquire about the exact details, and very graciously and profusely apologized for his tech's behavior. His professionalism and customer service were very much appreciated. He wanted to know how he could rectify the situation. After a long conversation, we came to an amicable agreement. Our rating has now changed, but a word of caution - make sure you are completely aware of the details and costs before you commit to any job being done.

I wanted to believe these reviews but my experience was way different. I found calling the office the gentleman and the ladies I spoke to were rude and straight out mean. Sorry, I caught you right before you were leaving and how dare I ask for quote with all the information that was needed. I did feel bad for the guy that came out and I would have given him my business. But the office was horrible.

I scheduled an appointment online, and although I was annoyed I was going to have to wait 6 days until someone came out, I needed to. I had a backed up shower drain which in turn backed up my kitchen sink. Well, the following day, Jennifer called from the company to confirm my appointment and offered me a same day visit. I agreed. Kevin J and Felix were both extremely professional. They were clear in their description of the problem, clear with the problem, cost and solution, and did not pressure me to go with more expensive options. They worked quickly and professionally. I will definitely utilize this company again and definitely ask for Kevin and Felix again. Thank you for my clear drain.

No issue with the quality of their work. They show up on time and fix the problem.

Unfortunately, their prices are not competitive. They mask this with a bunch of phony pricing gimmicks; discounts, memberships, etc. Don't sign me up for a membership or tell me that I am getting a pricing discount. Just give me the darn price. If plumber A charges $200 and Moffat charges $800, a discount is not very important is it?

The bottom line is this. A good service vendor provides the proper balance of quality and price. It's all about receiving good value for your dollar. If a job should cost $200, a company which charges $20 for bad work and a company which charges $2000 for absolutely perfect work are equally poor vendors. Moffat has not found the proper balance between quality and price.

Two men showed up. It seemed like one was there to install the new faucet and the other was there to try and sell other services that the company offers. The old kitchen faucet, that I installed, was about 5 years old and since we have very hard water, it had a lot of calcium build up and wasn't working very well anymore. Also in the last 4 years, we've had all the main plumbing lines under the sink replaced and new garbage disposal installed. We had already purchased the new kitchen faucet. I relay this so that it's understood the condition of the pipes under the sink. It took them about an hour and a half to swap out the faucets. They charged us $550. That seems very very high to me. They did a good job, there are no leaks and they cleaned up after themselves but they are very expensive.

Vince and Alberto were amazing! We called Moffett when we noticed a little swimming pool under our kitchen sink. Jen the customer service rep made us feel important and had them come out the same day. They got us all fixed up for a fair price. They were super professional, friendly and cleaned up after they repaired the issue. Our kids and pups enjoyed them and they even put everything back under the sink for us before they let. The drains from my upstairs bathtubs started leaking through the ceiling into the living room. Some of the ABS joints were cracked. I called Moffett plumbing on a Saturday when my usual plumber wasn't available. They came out quickly and the gentleman was very nice and professional.
They charged $59 which I knew about and was just happy to have someone look at it. The estimate they gave me was ridiculous. $3k for the repairs and $1.5K to cut the drywall.

My usual plumber called me on Monday and came out without charging a diagnostic fee. He quoted me $550 and could have it done that afternoon. It was repaired quickly and with less drywall damage than Moffett had wanted to do.

I can understand charging a little more since they have to pay for those nice trucks, but $4K is a huge margin. They were professional, but I advise getting a second opinion on any work you're considering.

I had a couple of showers getting very slow to drain so gave them a call. Vince showed up. Vince was awesome. Super friendly, respectful of the home (from their own mats in the front, shoe covers, and cleaning up) and explained everything he was doing. And now the shower drains are back to normal! I hope I never have to call another plumber again but if so, I'm going to call and ask for Vince!

I've used Tom Moffett Plumbing for many years now. I love that every time I've called there is a friendly and live person answering the phone.
They do have a service charge, but it is included in the total cost if you use them for the repairs or it is waived if you are a diamond member.

I've had them do small and large jobs. The prices for the most part have seemed fair, but the great thing is they stick to the quote they gave you. If the job ends up being more work than what they originally quoted, they finish it and never charge more than the quote. (this has happened to me personally). You can't get that kind of service from other plumbers.

I would give a 5 star if they didn't have a service fee (especially if you want to get multiple quotes before doing a non-emergency job), however, for that price they come prepared to start the job right away. No need to reschedule another visit to start the work.
They are quick to rectify any issues that you make them aware of, and have excellent customer service.

Giving them 4 stars, used Moffett 3 times, and each time was pleased with the work completed. Yes they are expensive. BUT, 1. they call back. 2. the work is done only after a full explanation is provided of what they are going to do and how long it will take. Most recently
I had an emergency where the shut off valve in my laundry room failed and I had to shut the water off to the whole house, two other firms I called did not return my calls. Of two I emailed, only one sent me a thanks for your message will be in touch. Did not hear anything again, despite me calling them again.
So yes, Moffett is pricey but no matter what day or time you call, you get a person on the other end of the phone, asking how they can help. So, when I called with the valve issue, there was a plumber at my house in under two hours to at least fix the issue temporarily for the weekend. The day of the full on work repairs, I got a message from the plumber saying where he was and when he would arrive and a call from the office telling me ETA.
I did a get a quote from one other firm, and they were as expensive as Moffett. I suggest you use the online coupon if you can, which can be applied to the service fee I think. Yes the service fee is an issue with me as well, but if you call Sears or any other appliance repair company they have fees too (but usually that fee can be applied to your repair charge.).
In any case, three quotes is great if you can get call backs. I do appreciate Moffett's service and follow up...

I'm finally getting around to writing this review, which is overdue. We recently had a major plumbing issue repaired by an excellent technician by the name of Ricky Nguyen. This guy was awesome! He took pride in his work and it showed in everything he did. He did this job as if it was his own home. I can't say enough good things about this guy. Now, the cost of this project was staggering, no joke, but my wife and I felt Ricky was looking out for our best interest at every turn.
I'm pretty cynical about service people, feeling that there's no pride in the work that they do. Just get the job done, get paid and move on. Ricky made me reevaluate my feelings, realizing that there are those that care about what they do. I'd say if you're using Tom Moffett, ask for Ricky!!

Felix installed my new Todo toilets before I moved into my home last year (7/2016). Felix dug a huge hole in my front yard and installed a two way on a very hot day (approximately 8/2016). I also hired Felix to install a water line for my refrigerator (8/2016).

Jessee and Kody cleared a clog as part of a hydro-jetting option early 2017.

For the most part, I have spoken to Jennifer in order to schedule all of these appointments and I always looking forward to the Tom Moffett crew to fix my plumbing problems.

Recently, Scott was able to quickly ascertain the location of my leak and fixed it (10/19/2017). After doing so he also tightened up other connections under my sink without being asked. This is the 5th or 6th time I have used Tom Moffett for my plumbing needs in the past year. I have been a part of their Family Plan since day one.

I've always used Moffett for all my plumbing needs (I even joined their family club) so when I found out that they now also had an HVAC division, I called them right away!

My bedroom needed additional duct work after my remodel. Luis and Alberto came on time, were neatly dressed, and wore pink shoe covers for Breast Cancer Awareness month. After listening to all my needs and diagnosing what work needed to be done, they gave me straightforward pricing. I agreed with them so they started to work right away. All the required tools and parts were in their truck...wow!

A few hours later, they let me know that the work was completed. The furniture was moved back into place, they swept & vacuumed, and I felt the cool air in my bedroom! Such an impressive job!

Luckily I'm now in the family club for plumbing & AIR! I highly recommend Moffett! I would never call anyone else!

$99 service fee for after hour service since they said all appt booked before even though i called b4 4pm. wouldn't even give ball park figure for work. When the plumber arrived and looked at it, they said their standard faucet was going to be $786 and that's the only way their work will be guaranteed. It's interesting that the person over the phone wouldn't and couldn't give us any sort of a ball park range in costs for the repair when they actually have a Laminated pricing sheet they ultimately show you.
VERY expensive.
A few of the Pros: The plumbers do smell good and are very friendly and used booty indoors.

If u r single female mid of night u r screwed. Needless to say, we didn't go with these guys.

We've been dealing with a major stoppage in our pipes causing water to back up in the tub, sink and toilet. We called a different company earlier in the week and they couldn't fix it, gave up a higher quote and said we would have to break the tile by the front door for them to get to the issue. We decided to get another opinion and we hit the jackpot calling Tom Moffett Plumbing. After hours of work, Ricky cleared the clog! He took his time explaining in detail everything he was doing and what needs to be done to avoid future issues. Where the other place was ready to tear up the area by my front door, he said it can be done on the lawn. The price tag was also a lot lower! Ricky is really a wonderful, profession man and he deserves a raise!! Thank you Ricky from the four of us!! After a week of inconvenience, you made these homeowners at ease. You're our hero!!

Long Review: they restored my faith in humanity restored.

We were blessed to have our plumbing repaired for FREE after we were scammed by Knight Plumbing & Rooter. I called on a Saturday and I didn't expect to hear anything back for a while since it was the weekend. Mike called back within a few hours! We were honest with letting him know that our biggest concern wasn't plumbing related, but Mike said he really wanted to help and even offered to come out later that day! Unfortunately, we had several appointments lined up that day and couldn't make it happen on Saturday. I was surprised when Mike offered to take a look on Sunday as well!

Mike and his wife, JoJo, came out on Sunday exactly when they said they would to assess the damage. They both were so friendly and reassuring; they were even sweet enough to text me prior to coming and offered to grab me a coffee. As mentioned before, the biggest concern wasn't plumbing related, it was this big hole that was directly in our walkway to the front door of our house. The Knight Plumbing Company had left a huge hole and all the broken up concrete was never hauled away. I didn't expect Moffett Plumbing to get involved since it involved a concrete patch, but Mike conducted a thorough walkthrough and I could tell he was saddened by our situation. I could see him mentally mapping out all the options. He came up with several solutions and did an honest explanation of the pros and cons of each option. We were expecting just to have the plumbing portion (a pipe bypass) and then need to reach out to another person for the concrete. My husband and I were floored when Mike said he would take care of the concrete too! This was an amazing offer because we had been looking but the issues was that the job was too small for a company to make it worth their time, but the project was too complex for a DIY on our part.

On Monday, Mike sent out Adam and Gio to take care of our plumbing disaster. JoJo came out and to oversee the work and make sure the job was done well. Our expectations were to just receive the basic since we weren't paying, but the Moffett team went ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!! We only presented the hole and the bypass, but came out to so much more! They not only did a clean job by beautifully installing the bypass and patching the cement, they saw OTHER plumbing related issues and took care of them ALL!!! I came down after work to find a REPLACED water bib that had been leaking and spraying all over the place, a CUT AND CAPPED unnecessary line-- they even color matched and PATCHED the hole where it came from, lastly made an eyesore of a completely UNRELATED EXISTING capped plumbing fixture disappear!

We had been losing so much sleep after being swindled and the Moffett family has lifted such a huge weight off our shoulders. We are beyond grateful. For the first time in several weeks, instead of crying tears of disappointment, I had tears of relief and joy! Thank you for everything Mike, JoJo, Adam and Gio!

I woke up this morning to water in my garage from the water heater. I called Moffett Plumbing and they were here in less 2 hours. Jonathan was so nice and professional. He showed me where the older WH was drippong and qouted me prices to replace that were in a book not off the top of his head. The whole adventure took just over an hour and I am beyond pleased with results. He even sucked up the water in our crawlspace. Replacing a water heater is never going to be cheap if you want it done right but I did not feel taken for a ride either, he explained everything to me and I never felt like a stupid girl. I definately recommend this company!

Was very satisfied with the service and how honest and upfront Brian Rowles was. He evaluated our situation, recommend the solutions, and never pressured us. Showing us first hand with his camera in our pipe we saw the years of grease buildup that had caused our problem. He built our trust by first trying to flush the clog out with our garden hose, and only after realizing it didn't work recommended the high pressure flush of our pipe. Afterwards he again used his camera to show us the difference, and restored our pipes to new condition. I would highly recommend. Great work combined with honesty and integrity is a winning combination. Will never call anyone else for our plumbing needs. Thank you for your excellent customer service.

I'm always nervous to try a new plumbing organization. I've had some fairly bad experiences. But a Google search suggested this organization and I gave them a call. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant (I think her name was Jessica) and she said a technician would arrive within an hour to two hours on a Saturday!

So in about 2 hours, Chris arrived, and he was so nice and personable. We talked through the issue with the drain from my washing machine and in no time he had it diagnosed. Before he began work, he gave me the quote and I knew what I was in for before he started. Didn't seem to long and the drain had been cleared. Chris was great to work with, he didn't mind me hovering and asking a bunch of questions. He explained their family owned business and they are not a franchise.

I was pleased with the quickness and efficiency of the service call. He gave me a folder with my copy of the bill and some literature. We talked more about how the business is run and who owns it.

And I know this will make Chris laugh, but the true test of his work came when he left and I ran another load of laundry with no leaks! Glad that this all worked out. I will definitely call them again.

Timely, yes, but overpriced and pushy. Two men showed up but not looking at the heater, not testing the pilot, etc. They looked very professional but it was hard to understand one of them who spoke with very thick accent. I wanted to get it done today so I thought I'd give them the job despite my uneasy feelings. As I was leaving them in the garage to grab my wallet, I heard them whisper something by the water heater... very unprofessional! While they were not straight forward in telling me the diagnosis, they were more interested in selling the package deal on their pricing booklet. I was getting more and more annoyed by their same sales pitch so I decided not to use them. I ended up paying $59 service visit fee which was not waivable even if you bought their service package. I defenitely will not recommend this company but recommend choosing owner operated smaller comapny.

Excellent service provided by Buddy Leal! He explained the options for new water heaters and installation thoroughly. I also had him review toilet replacement options and decided to have him replace my 3 toilets too! I am having him return on Monday with his supervisor to review/plan bathroom and kitchen remodeling.
Overall the installation process for the water heater and 3 toilets was superior. Buddy's co-worker was great too. You will be very pleased with Tom Moffett

I called Moffett Plumbing when my washing machine would not drain correctly spilled over onto the garage floor. The tech ran a snake through the line didn't fix the problem and tried to tell us there may be a break in the line and suggest a $1,200.00 camera ride. We declined and called another plumber Lil Red Rooter turns out there was grease in the line...common problem $100 to snake the line problem solved. The Lil Red Rooter saved us $1,100.00. I will not call Tom Moffett plumbing again they are very expensive and try to up sale everything!

This company solved and repaired a problem we have been living with several years. We had other plumbers, water department, gas department and out insurance come to diagnose the sewer smell we would have in our home on cold nights in the evenings. It was a methane smell that bothered us very much. No one was able to find what the source of the smell was. We did a lot of research and found something called a smoke test. Tom Moffett has the equipment. The day of the test we had John and another plumber come to our home. They prepared the area with clean rugs and equipment. They diagnosed the problem and efficiently fixed it with a reasonable price. There was a huge problem within our attic that could not have been diagnosed otherwise. We are truly thankful for the plumbers. They helped us with a problem that could potentially be affecting our health.

Do not use moffett had cleaning service to my main drain scheduled for today and the plumber did the bare minimum. Additionally he did not secure the access for under my home properly nor the cover to the drain. I had to get home after a full day's work to fix both those issues. If I could do less than 1 star I would

Received a call from Moffett management who actually looked into my complaint. Must say she wad amazing and willing to make good on the original poor service. Unfortunately I had gone with a different company but had this all been made yesterday I would have definitely given them a second chance...additionally she refunded Me my payment even tho I had not requested for them to do so.

I respect that she took the time to investigate my claims to ensure I wasn't lying. So thank you moffett maybe one day I will try your services again.

I called to get an over the phone estimate for a clogged shower drain. They told me they could not give over phone estimate. They charged $59 for service call (that is not placed toward work to be done). They arrived (Paul was very professional and courteous) but ultimately they charged $166 plus $59 for a total of $225 to put a snake in my drain, and left within 45 minutes.

I will never use them again, simply based on this price. The $166 was their 2nd lowest level pricing. If they would have charged $83 (their lowest level) plus $59 (their service call), then I would not have written this warning message to others that simply need a drain clean out.

The going rate for a local plumber to do the same job is $120, so save yourself $100 and do not call Tom Moffett Plumbing if you have a clogged drain.

Moffett plumbing was the only company to answer a phone and come out on a Saturday. They told me my water softener was done and I needed a new one. Not much diagnose was done besides testing the water and seeing it was still hard water. I knew it didn't work that's why I needed them to diagnose and fix it. Ended up getting a quote for $4300!!! Ended up doing it myself. Cal around and be patient for a more reasonably priced plumbing company. I knew they always charge a lot but that's insane.

BEWARE!!! They wanted to charge $2,450.00 for a basic sink faucet installation, and changing flappers in 3 toilets. Had the entire job done for $136.00. I paid them their service fee, which they were not willing to waive, if I had done the work and sent them on their way.
If money is no object, they are the ones for you. Very disappointing, since, I have used the father who has a company in Big Bear and they were very fair.

I had a different plumbing problem arise, so of course, I called Moffett Plumbing and Air!

Pros: Responsive, reliable, cleanly, punctual, knowledgeable, guarantees their work 100%

Every facet of my experience with Moffett Plumbing & Air was impeccable. Jessica, the dispatcher, called to let me know that Rudy, the plumbing technician, was on his way. He was on time and was so cleanly (shoe covers, gloves, face mask).

I had a clogged drain in my dishwasher that was starting to emit a foul odor. He laid down a rug and proceeded to fix the problem efficiently. He noticed my sink faucet was wobbly too so he tightened it for me, free of charge.

After Rudy fixed the clog, he cleaned under the sink and the area around the dishwasher until it was spotless. He wrote an invoice with exactly what he had done and went over the straightforward pricing guide with me.

I would highly recommend Moffett Plumbing & Air! In fact, I won't use anyone else!!! They always go above and beyond!

Johnathan was very personable, friendly & experienced. I hired him to fix a leaking garbage disposal system and he advised me to replace it and also provided info on which kind to use based on how we operated the current one. First awesome company. I honestly can't say enough. So we had a little work done few months back, while Rudy was here I showed him ( although you couldn't miss) all the holes left by an electrician who did a rewire. 56 holes to be exact of all shapes and sizes. Rudy recommend a gentleman that they have used on their different jobs for different reasons. I couldn't find anyone to do work. I called Mateo from MDZ Construction Inc. he came in gave quote and in less then 9 hours total was in & out and you can't tell I ever had holes anywhere. Texture coated where we had it. Looks absolutely amazing. The men at Moffit plumbing are the best. They look out for their customers no matter the issue. Thank you again you all Rock.

They charge way to much!!

You know those valves that go from the wall to the toilet? Needed two replaced. $59 dollars just for them showing up and $250 to change each one. Because they had a good rating and reviews on Yelp. I figured you get what you pay for. Also our toilets needed some replacement parts to stop them from losing water. The guy told me my toilets were too old & t they don't make those types of parts and had to be replaced. 600+ dollars per toilet. Also asked how much to install a faucet in the bathroom. Quoted me $475. Said I'll think about it.

Few months later I needed another plumber. My mother referred me to her plumber. He replaced all the old parts in my toilets. You know those ones they don't make parts for? Asked him how much to install my bathroom faucet. $90 bucks for the faucet & $150 bucks for the toilets parts.

Will never call Tom Moffett Plumbing. Maybe I'll refer them to someone I don't like but even that is cruel.

Gained my business then quickly lost it.

First time I called them they arrived quickly and helped fix a leak caused by a tub spout I replaced recently. Thought I finally got a trustworthy plumber.

Called second time since my water heater was leaking. Plumber came out to confirm I need a new water heater and gave an outrageous quote of $6500 for a water tank replacement. Obviously said no and they collected their service fee. Most companies provide no cost estimate for water heater repair.

Won't go back for a third time.

I then recieved a call from her letting me know she can have her technician out earlier, tech came out fixed the issue! What a great friendly team they have at that company! THANK YOU SO MUCH Sean G. and Jennifer! My water heater failed yesterday and was dreading to make the call until 2pm yesterday. Jennifer took my information down, and answered all the question I had at a moment. Sean arrived at my house, took a look at my water heater, reviewed options and answered all my questions before he went out to get my new water heater! I had forgotten to ask one more question, so I called the office. Jennifer to the rescue again. She had Sean call me and answere my question. Water heater is now installed and looks like hot water is ready! I cannot believe it is done in a day!

I had a toilet that the tank was not filling with water. I called to make an appointment and they said there would be a $59 Service Charge. They came out and checked the valve, the line from the valve to the tank and replaced the fill mechanism in the tank of the toilet (approximately $20 in parts from Home Depot). Long story short, it cost me $507! Yikes! And they were at my house for approximately 1 hour.

They are professional, did a good job, BUT, THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE!!!

Yelp other plumbers and use them instead.

I called Moffitt plumbing because both my toilets were clogged. They were here in less then 2hrs and had them both working in less than 45mins. Brian showed me a picture from inside my pipe of the offset pipe that had caused the clog. I also knew about this previously because I had had the same issue a little more than a year earlier. They cleared my drain then also but I didn't have the money on hand back then to fix the issue. I knew it would just keep happening if I didn't have it repaired soon so Brian gave me a quote and pushed the work out a month so I'd be able to save a bit more money. I also got quotes from 2 other plumber's. Brian's was the lowest of the 3. Plus he credited the charge for the previous service call. Today Brian and his partner Brandon showed up first thing this morning. Both with great attitudes and big smiles. They were happy to explain each step and why it was nessasary. They seemed to be super knowledgeable. I was a bit uneasy due to the age of my home. I've heard horror stories about starting a job and having the old plumbing just crumble. He assured me he could get this done without additional issues and that's how it went. I'm very pleased with the work and it's guaranteed for 5yrs. I'll be calling Moffitt again when I need anything else plumbing related. Thanks Brian and Brandon you both did great work.

I called Tom Moffett Plumbing to work on a leaky bathtub faucet, after getting an estimate from Mike Diamond that seemed excessively high for the work. The customer service representative was very friendly and polite on the phone, and set me up with an appointment. On the day of my appointment, I received a text with my technicians name and picture, which was a nice touch. My technician was Jonathan who brought along his apprentice (I can't remember his name, sorry). They took a look at the leak and quoted me a price that was 33% lower than Mike Diamond's quote. The team got my shower leak fixed with all new parts in less than 45 minutes. The team was very clean, friendly and professional, and even went out of their way to find some water for my dog, when they had to turn of the water to my house to do the work. Overall, I am very pleased with Tom Moffett Plumbing and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber. Thank you for the excellent job; you've earned a loyal customer.

Showed up but were unprepared for the work tCo be done, left with the sink not working and still had the leak in the shower. Said they needed more parts. called two days later and said they had all the parts except for one, expected it the next day. Never called back - I called them three a allater and surprise they just got the part and would be out that day between 2 - 4, showed up at 5:30. Fixed the leak and replaced sink cartridge - that they had broken on the first visit. They could not fix the sink cartridge that was actually leaking. They charged me for fixing the cartridge they had broken.

I had a clogged sink and David came out to look at it. I had narrowed down the location of the clog. Of course they offered jetting the lines which would clear the whole system for over $500 but when I declined, they honored their Fish radio offer and cleared the one clogged drain very well.

I must say that I've had a whirlwind of emotions in dealing with Tom Moffett Plumbing over the past 48 hours. What started as a horrible customer experience actually turned around into a positive one. We had a leak in our kitchen and TMP discovered that our garbage disposal was leaking. In addition, it seems that our kitchen faucet was rusted beyond repair and needed replacing. TMP proceeded to provide me quotes that I felt were well beyond what even a premium service provider like Tom Moffett should charge. And as a loyal member of their Family Club for several years, I walked away pretty upset. In fact, I made the decision to walk away from TMP for good. I declined the service, cancelled my Family Club, and called another plumber.

What happened after this made me realize that good old fashioned customer service still exists in America. A manager from TMP called me to express his disappointment that I was an unsatisfied customer - and asked how he could make things right. In fact, he called me a second time as well. I could tell from the second call that he was taking this situation very personally. The next day they stopped by my house to talk to me in person and did what they could to make things right again.

I have to say, it's been quite an interesting few days. I've gone from a loyal customer to leaving the service for good, and now back to the point where I would even consider calling them again first for my next plumbing need. Having gotten personal calls and messages from managers and executives within TMP shows me that their customer service is more than just lip service.

I would recommend their service as long as you know that you might pay a little extra, but you're in good hands. They will show up quickly, on time, do a great job, and most of all, make sure that you are a satisfied customer.

This is the 2nd time we've used Moffett plumbing. This time for a badly clogged shower drain. Nate the technician arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. Literally rolled out the red carpet at our front door and in the work area to ensure no mess! Nate was able to fix the clogged drain in a timely manner and suggested ways to avoid future issues. We have also used Tom Moffett in the past and although we considered them to be on the pricey side, decided to use them for a clogged bathroom drain. They had to cut a pipe and replaced with plastic pipe. Took 2 hours and was a whopping $1000 charge. The u joint was leaking under my bathroom sink. They said all new pipes and connections were needed and would be about $600. We sent them on their way and my husband fixed it for $16. Will not call them again.

Michael the owner personally came to our home in an emergency situation to assess our clean out leaking problem. He cleared our main line and let us know that our old pipe will need to be replaced! I've used their $90 drain cleaning -- the one they proudly advertise on the radio -- 3 or 4 times. They've always been prompt and completed the job quickly. They do try to up-sell, which I understand, but they're not jerks about it.

Today I called to have a drain cleaned out (one they've cleaned out twice for me), and all of a sudden the $90 drain cleaning is a one-time use deal and I've already used it. Now I need to pay $59 plus whatever the technician says I need. We don't have any price lists in the office so no way to give a rough estimate for a drain cleaning.

Sounds like their success from the radio is making them greedy.... I'll be calling someone else from now on. Sucks when good companies take a turn like this.

Vince and Scott (apprentice and senior tech) came to repair 4 faucets at my house. Both were very kind and professional. They had no issue with my dog and were very kind towards him when they entered. They did their best to fix all of my faucets and kept things tidy. For the past few years our AC unit was struggling to keep our home cool, so we finally decided to get it serviced. We had visits from other companies but they were pushing us to purchase a new AC unit, which was completely out of our budget.
Luis Nova with Moffett came out to look at our unit and provided us with different options, which included repairs to our current aging unit that would allow it to last a few more years.
After the repairs, our AC unit is now blowing cold air like it has never done before.
Great and easy experience from Luis Nova and Moffett, will definitely be doing business with them again in the future.

Our toilet had a leak and we had Tom Moffett Plumbing come out to repair it. Our plumber - Ray Dolen was very nice, personable and so very helpful. Was very happy with Tom Moffett Plumbing's expertise and knowledge. There was something also wrong with the water pressure (which we were not aware of) in which they also fixed. I would highly recommend Tom Moffett Plumbing to any consumer.

After an initial misunderstanding / difficulty with a clogged / slow toilet, Tom Moffett Plumbing has come through with flying colors, and more than redeemed themselves in my book. They replaced 2 toilets, one of which was still flushing slowly. They came back, replaced it AGAIN, and it worked. The plumbers were clean and professional, took the time to explain the situation, and SHOWED me that my pipes were clear with a camera, which was really cool. When the plumbers are so conscientious and professional, it's obvious this comes from the owners. Mike Moffett personally called me to follow up, and gave me a gift certificate for the initial misunderstanding. I just was able to use that today for a clogged toilet downstairs. These guys talk the talk, but they walk the walk, and back it up with personalized service and results. Kudos to Tom Moffett Plumbing!
