Jon's first HVAC job was with a manufacturing company in Phoenix, AZ, that fabricated ductwork using fiberglass duct board. From there, he worked his way up developing his installation, service and project management skills. When the company he was working for began to dismantle, Jon was at a crossroads. He could either go and work for another company or take a leap of faith and start his own venture. Jon opted for the latter and founded Jon's Plumbing & Heating in 1998. Jon leveraged his background and partnered with local builders to provide HVAC and plumbing services for new construction projects.

I called at closing time for a plumber because my rental property had a clogged toilet. The lady on the phone was very nice and didn't hesitate to send a plumber to look at the situation. In route he quoted me a price and I agreed. When he got to the house he said the toilet was flushing fine and he didn't need to use the auger. He reduced the price and only charged me a service call. They seem very honest and I would definitely use them again.

I went onto the Nextdoor app to try to find a plumber because I had just moved into the Centerburg area. I bought a house that was well over 120 years old and I had no clue how old the sump pump was. I knew that it was making a very loud noise and it didn't seem to be doing the job properly however it has not stopped running. I had already made an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate to replace the sump pump. Brad showed up that morning and not only did he change the sump pump for me he was done quickly and very polite I have hired them to come back and install a back up sump pump I highly recommend this company their prices are reasonable and they do what they say they're going to do with explanations and estimates before they start the work. I prefer to support a local business as opposed to larger corporations

I've had two major installations completed by Jon's. A water heater replaced by Drew and a shower stall replacement by Brad and Rich. Big SHOUT-OUT to these great guys. Their work was impeccable. Ryan provided me with a great price quote and the work was completed cleanly and efficiently. Each person I've worked with at Jon's has been friendly and knowledgeable. This company is a great locally-owned business that is highly recommend.

Just read through a couple of the problem reviews and thought I'd add mine. Jon's has done a good deal of work at my home and business. I've found them to be reliable and they've stood behind their work if and when problems arose. They're prices are a touch high, otherwise I'd have added the fifth star. Still having them show up when they said they would and do the job as promised is worth paying for. The guys have also been pleasant fellows happy to explain and discuss options. I
recommend them.

Do not do business with this company, we had a new HVAC system installed by them in our attic as we have no basement. Took twice as long as they told us and cost nearly $20,000. They messed up 2 different things for the condensate and I walked into the bathroom to find water pouring out  of my light switch and the ceiling vent and then noticed lots of water stains on our ceiling.We called and they said they couldn't come out until next day?! My husband had to go up and open a nozzle for the water to flush out. They messed it up and it all flooded and we had to have a company come out and tear our whole ceiling down in the living room and bathroom and replace the whole ceilings and part of the walls after having loud machinery in here and open ceilings for 5 days for everything to dry out. They didn't want to own up to their mistakes or help us out at all we had to fight with their insurance company while the contractors who came to fix the mistakes were threatening a lien on our home! Nobody should have to go through that. Fast forward to now still less than a year later and my husband smelled propane in the attic when a technician was out fixing a vent and he told him. The guy supposedly tested and found no leaks. We ran through an entire tank of propane in a month and a half and I only keep house at 69 and its tiny. A tank would last us a whole year before so they came back out again and checked and low and behold found a leak IN OUR ATTIC from them not doing the job properly! I am super upset, my family could have been killed and they do not even want to compensate us the $1300 it cost to replace the tank of propane we just had filled. The customer service is terrible and they do terrible work, this is the 3rd problem we have had on a brand new system for mistakes that are their fault!! Who knows what else they have messed up on

To begin with the tech was great, he was very polite and explained exactly what was wrong with my hot water tank. It was under warranty so I just had to pay for installation which I was presented the bill of 397 dollars after installation which I paid before he left. This took place in October, today I get a bill for 99 dollars which I thought must be a mistake in billing. I called and was told the bill I received was for diagnostics and that they had e mailed me a bill. I am not the best at checking my e mails, didn't know why they would have billed in this manner and was not told I would get a paperless bill and that diagnostics was not included in my installation. I did not discard a e mail from them so I typed Jons plumbing in my e mail search and there was no email from them. This is the first and last time I will use them, there are different options out there. Office staff was not very friendly in explaining why I had not received a bill previous to this, I was under the impression that my bill was paid in full the day the tank was installed.

Very good work and service. Tech was very nice and listened to what my issue and repairs were. I will be using them again very soon.
