I called Rightway Plumbing in despair after being shocked to find that my 15 year old water heater had exploded and caused a ton of water damage.   (The first plumbing business I called went directly to Voicemail and I left a message....never to hear from them.)  I put in a call to Rightway Plumbing and got an answer on the first ring.   I explained my situation to the lady that answered. She said that she had a tech (JOE MORIN) who was finishing up a job in my area.  She asked him to swing by and take a look.

The company texted me when he was en route and then once again when he arrived on site.  Joe arrived in less than 1 hour.  That was extremely fast....I had expected a day or so.

Joe was dressed very clean and professional.  He was comfortable to talk to...not intimidating at all.  I showed him my mess and he did a full assessment of the current water heater and the plumbing under the house.  Joe explained my options and pricing for repairs, gave me his honest opinions, and found a suitable plan to get me on the right track.  NOT ONCE DID I FEEL PRESSURED OR LIKE I WAS GONNA BE GOUGED!   While I wish that I could afford the tankless replacement, we chose something that was more in my price range.  He explained the pricing and the different warranties that were offered.  Not once did he make me feel uneasy about the route I chose to go.

While Joe was able to complete the replacement of the water heater, he was not able to address the water damaged that was caused.  Joe immediately suggested that I contact a restoration company that he works with on occasion.  Joe made the call for me and the restoration guy was there within the hour to assess the damage.  Joe also gave me good advice on what I may expect when dealing with the insurance company.

Joe worked from mid-after noon till well after dark.  He went over and beyond expectation.  When I inspected his work, he had gone the extra mile by insulating my pipes to the tank, moved the tank away from the wall a bit, brought the exhaust piping to code (which had showed up in my inspection report a year ago), and also installed a water pressure control unit to bring the system up to code.   It was evident that he took his time and did it the RIGHTWAY...no pun intended.  There was nothing shotty about his craftsmanship and I feel confident that my new system will last for many years to come.

While I hate to part ways with almost $2400, I feel like this investment was totally worth it.  I get peace of mind knowing that it was a job well done by a skilled professional.  I feel like the immediate response during my initial phone call was a HUGE plus.  I also can rest assured that I was not taken to the cleaners by some second rate plumber who would do crappy work.

I believe you get what you pay for ...especially with work like this.

Will I use them again....absolutely!

After trying several local plumbing and heating businesses in the area, I chose Rightway.  They have since done all of my work; both residential and business.  I especially appreciate their professionalism, in clean and neat installation and very talented troubleshooting  by Robert, solving a problem that the other companies were not able to find. Don has been excellent in assisting in the design and installation of two heating and a/c systems, and Eric in scheduling gets techs out on time if needed. This is a great company and I highly recommend them for no-nonsense installation and service, very fair pricing, and a friendly staff.

We woke up on a Sunday morning with our living room under water and had no idea who to call. A friend suggested Rightway Plumbing and our guy Andy was there within 2 hours, on a Sunday(who does that???). Within a few minutes of checking things out he realized it wasn't going to be an easy fix as we're built on a slab. Once the leak was located they had it fixed within a matter of hours. This was not a one day job BUT, they kept us 100% informed the whole way, let us know what we could expect and got us with a great restoration company to help with the repairs so we can get back to living our life. Overall, we would 100% recommend this company based on both quality of work and customer service. They're just great!

Bad experience. Talked on phone and exchanged texts with Ryan and set up a time for a plumber to come and check the leak in my house. No one showed up at the agreed to time nor did they even have the common courtesy to call me to tell me that they were not coming. After that, no reply to my questions about whether they were still coming or what happened. Very unprofessional.

I found Rightway Plumbing on Angie's List and as I read the wonderful reviews I decided to give them a call. I was getting the runaround with another plumbing company so I was a little nervous to call. I was immediately put at ease and I made an appointment for that weekend. Eldon showed up today and literally was the nicest person! He explained everything to me and even answered all my questions. He went above and beyond! I was so pleased with this company that I will recommend them to everyone I know! It can be hard to find people you trust if you need home repairs but you don't have to be worried about that with Rightway Plumbing!!

I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Shaun and how he helped me on New Year's Day.  I had a dramatically overflowing dishwasher and kitchen sink which was not fixing itself.  After about a gallon of draino (which, I know I shouldn't use...) and several other home methods, I decided it was time to call a plumber.

With it being January 1, most plumbing companies were closed.  I found Rightway on Yelp, and they helped me immediately.  They put me in touch with Shaun who talked me through the process in advance and helped give me an idea of pricing.  About 30 minutes later, he was at my door.  Not only was he fast, he was extraordinarily professional and knowledgeable.  The prices were reasonable and he gave me a quote for some other work which I'll likely have done later in the year.

I highly recommend Rightway and will certainly use them again before I buy any more draino!

I called Rightway for a simple replacement of a broken hose sillcock on our home. After waiting for the tech during our scheduled appointment window they cancelled due to a lack of capacity.

The following day the tech was able to make it out. Our quote for a $30 part from the local hardware store was $382 including under an hour of labor!! Quite the mark up. When I asked him to explain the pricing (materials vs. labor), I was told to call the main office because they set pricing rather than customizing quotes to each customer's requirements. Corporate couldn't explain the charge either, and had to refer my request to the owner of the company. He called back to explain that pricing is set based on Rightway's average cost of similar customer jobs, not based on my own requirements - meaning the price of my simple repair is burdened by the complexity of other customer calls! ...and I quote, sometimes the customer wins, sometimes the customer loses.

Bottom line - although the work was satisfactory - the prices are not transparent, not based on actual work performed, and field techs are not given the autonomy to provide good customer service. I would not recommend them to a neighbor.

I woke up one morning to a water on my bathroom floor. I shut off the water to my house and called Rightway Plumbing the next day. They had someone come out to my house and gave me a 30 minute notice. I did really appreciate that. The guy found the leak. However, he told me I needed a brand new hot water heater and there was no way to fix the current one. He quoted me $1600 and actually said to me I don't know if you have any family who can help you out. I got another quote. Turns out the hose just needed to be replaced. No more leaks. $10. I would never use this company again.

The call was answered quickly and professionally. Receptionist was able to get a plumber out within two hours of me calling. Darrin was very courteous and knowledgeable. He quoted standard prices for the service. When I said it sounded too expensive, he was able to work with us and provide alternate solutions. Price was fair and reasonable.

I had them come out to a rental unit i own to diagnose a leak i thought may be coming from something other than my a/c unit which i have had problems with and just replaced. The tech came out and cut a 12x12 hole in my ceiling and said yep, its condensation from the hvac pipes and the hvac company can see exactly whats wrong if they put their head up in the hole i cut and he also assured me it wasnt a leak b/c his leak dectection system would have found a leak. Well a few days later i have another company go out and found a leak within 5 mins, cut a few small holes in the wall and repaired the pipe that had a dime sized hole.  Now, RWP is telling me i denied the tech the opportunity to cut more holes in the wall to find that leak???!!! Really, u told me it was HVAC and the leak dectection said no leaks so why would i do such a thing??!!!  Anyway, now i have to pay $159 for a diagnostic fee while i just paid another company to find/fix the issue.
