Spirelli Electric

Second wonderful experience with a fine oiled machine type company. Given the current situation and the back logs my husband and I assumed we'd be waiting for a month to have our favorite electrician Arty come to our house. i called Spirelli last week and spoke to the lovely Celia who once again made things happen and had Arty here the following week. (This doesn't happen all the time so we were beyond grateful). Celia always asks specific questions so there are no surprises and truly makes you feel important. We were expecting the dream team of Arty and Nick but Nick was on another job so Matt came as Arty's helper. What a go getter and a truly stand up guy. He showed great promise and did not stand still from the moment they arrived at 8am. We had a small hiccup with new sconces and the gentleman put them up for us and then had to take them down because they were scratched from when we opened the package.

All things in my opinion should be enjoyable and easy and we are so glad to report Spirelli comes through each time.

Already have another list going for our favorites to return and there will be no hesitation as to who we will call.

A great experience with  Spirelli Electric, called with a multitude of problems which either needed to be updated or completely replaced. Sylvie was very patient and positive about questions and options. Dennis and Nick showed up on time and immediately began tackling the work order. They were polite, worked nonstop, cleaned and removed all debris and provided the agreed upon price for services provided.  Would definitely recommend and will use the company again.

We have been using Sperelli for years now. I won't pretend they are cheap but you absolutely get what you pay for. Their teams always arrived on tine, they are neat and hard working. They listen and manage to fix even complex issues. If you want a tough job done well these are your guys

I made an appointment with Nikki at Spirelli.  She was very helpful and was able to schedule an appointment for the day I was off from work even though it was short notice.

On Friday at 8am Dennis and Nick from Spirelli showed up on time.  They were friendly and professional.  They did the job quickly, cleanly and everything looks great.

The technicians called to let me know they were on their way and got here on time. I needed a few outlets replaced/rewired and a light fixture in the bathroom replaced. They were done in half an hour and were professional and friendly the whole time, keeping me updated on their progress. I should also mention Celia who does the appointment scheduling even called when they were done early from another job to ask if I wanted them to come earlier. I am very happy with their work and will be using them again in the near future to replace another fixture. I highly recommend Jeff, Constantine, and Nick from Spirelli Electric.

I've hired Spirelli Electric twice so far, and their service and professionalism were always impeccable. While their rate is not low, the high quality service, responsiveness, and professionalism make it definitely worth it. Rather than hiring a cheap unqualified handyman, I'd bet on working with a proven, quality--albeit expensive--professional.

1. Right after I purchased a house in 2021, the home inspector indicated several concerns with electrical system. The seller had his handyman fix the most, and I asked me to hire a service on my own to address a more involved, outdoor work. I found Spirelli online and got Jeff and Nick's service replacing electrical insulation and installing a generator connector. They were personable, on time, and friendly while remaining courteous. The work was done nicely in estimated timeframe with clean finish. Jeff even offered to provide follow-up help if needed and gave his cell number, which was not required but appreciated.

2. About one year in at a new house, some outlets stopped providing power and one light switch failed. I call Spirelli again, and Fernando and Anderson came by this time. They were very thorough and thoughtful, and listened to all the details and contexts I wanted to share with them. The faulty light switch was an easy one to fix, but determining the cause of power outlet issue was more complicated and time-consuming. It turned out that the previous owner had done a very poor work on electrical wiring and grounding, which cause a few points to fail. Fernando and Anderson took time to go through all possible factors until they found the core concerns and fixed everything. Each step of the way, they shared the necessary details about what's happening, what they're looking for, and what they found, which was highly appreciated and helped strengthen the trust.

Again, they might not be the cheapest electrician service in town, but I wouldn't hesitate hiring them again. I wouldn't risk my family's safety on an unqualified handyman for a cheap price tag.

SPIRELLI ELECTRIC were very professional from the moment they picked up the phone to finishing the job. The office staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. They were upfront with their pricing and put me on their calendar right away.  Dennis and Nick installed an over the range microwave for me and cleaned everything up including vacuuming any dust left behind. They answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout the job. They were a pleasure to have in my home. I highly recommend Spirelli Electric.

Great experience from getting an estimate through completion and billing of job. Very professional, courteous, efficient. Rodrigo and Matt and a 3rd guy whose name I didn't get were excellent throughout. And Joseph Spirelli also checked in on the job to make sure things were going well. Final bill was an exact match of the estimate (which I had gotten a year in advance). Customer service was excellent when I had to re-schedule, and they answered all my questions knowledgeably and personably. Great experience all around.

My wife and I are new homeowners who had very little experience when it comes to this kind of stuff. When we first contacted Spirelli Inc the team was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about every question we had!

Fernando & Lucas came to our home to install numerous lights, switch out a chandelier among a few other things and they were very punctual, professional, friendly and did a great job!

I searched and vetted five other companies for my project, 15 new LED recessed ceiling lights (not the old school cans). Joe Spirelli came to assess the project personally. He's very professional and honest. He gave me the best quote, and assured me it would be fine although my home was built in the 50's. I felt very comfortable. Day of the job, FOUR! yes a team of 4 electricians showed up promptly at 8 am., and by 11:30 am the job was complete, and all cleaned up. Unbelievable! Joe Spirelli came to my house for the job assessment. Joe was friendly, polite and available to talk again after the job assessment. I was happy with Joe and he made me feel comfortable, but I was skeptical because I have paid other local companies for work on my house and attitudes can change when it comes time to get started. I was sent an email explaining that Fernando and Greg were scheduled to come for a sauna heater installation. I was sent a reminder the day before they came to work. They were on time, worked hard, and worked well together. They were organized and conscientious. Overall this experience was amazing. I have never been so happy while paying someone to work on my house. The quality of their work was the best. They were worth every penny. I would have no reservations about hiring them again.

I am new to the area and Spirelli Electric came highly recommended. They came out to give me estimates/recommendations and I booked them on the spot.  Kyle, Austin, Darwin and Arty came out on Monday and spent all day installing new light fixtures and upgrading my panel. I never received such excellent service from a contractor.  They installed six recessed lights in a living without overhead lighting... this took them less than two hours.  It looks amazing. In total, over 6 new fixtures and living lighting was installed. I just booked them again for some other things I need done.   I recommend Spirelli Electric without reservations.

Jeff from Spirelli is amazing! He's very knowledgeable and professional. He spent the entire day fixing a myriad of electrical issues, including the shoddy unfinished work done by a previous electrician, as well as fixing a broken doorbell, several broken outlets, and a broken overhead patio light.

He was extremely courteous, always asking if we were happy with what he was doing. He was punctual, and called us to let us know he'd be 10mins late. He had integrity and refused to connect some old devices that were in bad shape. He was also very friendly.

Spirelli is a very professional service with a receptionist, appointment reminder emails, and emailed invoices. His prices were reasonable and he even gave us some tips on how to save money.

I had two electricians, Jeff and Alex, at my house yesterday to hook up a new thermostat. They explained the entire process to me from start to finish and did the job perfectly. They even kept my children entertained! I had originally been told that they wouldn't be able to come out until Wednesday, but they squeezed in my appointment on a busy Monday afternoon (Veterans Day) because they didn't want me to go without heat. Both guys were very professional. I'd call them back for any electrical work at my house.

This is a really great shop. As an architect and general contractor, we're always looking to develop long term relationships with sub contractors and we certainly have that with Spirelli. Jeff is the most knowledgeable, proficient and efficient electrician I have ever met. We're very fortunate to have him on our job.

I had Spirelli electric come out to wire in a bathroom addition for me, they came out for a total of two trips.  For both trips I had Jeff for an electrician.  My experience was great, Jeff works fast, works clean, is very personable, and punctual.  They have affordable, fair rates and I will definately use them again as the need comes up.

Spirelli Electric was recommended to us by a friend. ADT installed several Nest thermostats in our home, and we ran into problem after problem to get and keep them up and working. Jeff and Elliott came to the rescue. They diagnosed the problem, discussed the recommended solution with us, installed several new breakers and thoroughly tested the system. They answered all of our questions, and even left a direct contact number in case we ran into problems. We were even impressed with the price--much lower than I expected! We highly recommend Jeff and Elliot, and will be reaching out to them again for additional work that needs to be completed.

The power was out by the pool for the kegorator and it was late in the afternoon on Friday. When I looked online almost every electrician was about to close in 30min. I took a shot and called Spirelli Electric after I  saw they had good reviews on Yelp. To my surprise they were able to send someone out within hours. They came at the exact time they told me and found the problem(bad GFI) which they  fixed within the hour. The technician Jeff was very nice and knowledgeable. I am very happy with their work and now have cold beer!!!

We needed the lighting upgraded outside our house.  Jeff came over and listened to our concerns about what we needed and wanted.  We thought we needed two lighting fixtures outside but Jeff advised us to install one and live with it for a bit.  And then see about the location of the second.  Now we know what we need for a second light and where it should go.

Jeff also installed a ceiling in the kitchen quickly, efficiently and with no mess!!!  He will be our requested electrician next time for sure.

Spirelli's prices are fair and accurate.  They know what they are doing and do it efficiently.

I have had Spirelli work in my home for the past six months and they have been so professional and so courteous. Jeff has done most of the work and just his friendly and helpful demeanor has been worth it. He is helpful and so knowledgeable. I don't think after dealing with Jeff if I would trust my home to anyone else. I have had so much extra stuff done in my home which was possible only because of the fair pricing that Spirelli charges. They are a great company and I highly recommend them.

Professional manner to appraise and quote work, prompt attention to detail in the massive job we had, sinking all wires for a mounted TV to an opposite wall and hanging a chandelier. We had a power surge during a storm that blew a number of our appliances.  Troy from Spirelli Electric came to house today and was super responsive, punctual, friendly and helpful.  We called last night and he was at our house first thing this morning so I could make it to work in time.  Thank you for your help and great service!

We had a great experience with Spirelli Electric. We contacted them based on Yelp reviews and spoke to Emily at the office. She was courteous and knowledgeable and very responsive. She left a message for Joe to call us later the same day. Joe was very professional and helped us through a couple of options and provided recommendations. He checked on replacement recessed LED trims and called us back promptly with an estimate. He was also easily available for a couple of follow-up questions. There was never a problem contacting him or Emily. There were also follow-up emails. We scheduled the installation of nine LED cans and trims about two weeks later. Jeff Uffer was our electrician. Jeff was terrific. He called us from the road to confirm his arrival time. He was very professional, friendly, very courteous and managed his time very efficiently. He was very careful and cleaned up very well upon completion. Invoicing was done electronicalliy on the spot and we received an email confirmation and invoice copy. Work quality was excellent and cost was very reasonable, as promised. No surprises. We will definitely call Spirelli Electric again in the future and we'll ask for Jeff.

I don't even know where to start because you get it all from Spirelli!  In short, the price is right, the service is beyond amazing, and the knowledge they have in the trade is both current and outstanding!  This was my first house, moving my family up from NYC, and it got very cold very fast up here in Putnam!  My wife and I realized the heat was not working in our baby daughter's room (5 months). Spirelli came recommended, and I am very fortunate they did.  I called close to closing time, but Emily took the time to be sure someone would show up the very next day.  Jeff Uffer was our electrician, and he was very friendly and knowledgeable!  He fixed all three rooms with heating problems in less than an hour, and walked around to help explain to this city boy exactly what does what in our new home.  If you have any need for electrical services, CALL SPIRELLI!

Absolutely Amazing. I had to pinch myself, are these guys, Arty and Fernando, for real? As first time homeowners, my wife and I, were daunted by the challenges in finding and hiring the right contractors for our various needs (plumbing, electrical, general, landscape etc.). We despaired, after a stream of ridiculously high (zip code rate) estimates from other contractors, that our electrical projects would have to be put on hold. And then we hit upon Spirelli Electric. First off, to be honest, I wasn't sure, hourly rates always make me nervous and the electrical projects we had in mind (Old outdoor lighting fixtures that hadn't worked in a decade, poor DIY electrical work by our homes predecessor, crazy switches all over the place) would involve quite a bit of problem solving and detective work on the electrical side. But Joe, the owner, did not leave it open ended and put our projects in for a 3hr block at a very reasonable rate. After having to change the dates a few times, because of the snowy weather, (a big thank you to Emily at the Spirelli office for being so accommodating to our scheduling needs and for being so genuine and kind as well) our big day came. After about a 15 minute walk-around to show the electricians the project they got to work. I was completely floored at how quickly our Spirelli electricians, Fernando and Arty, jumped in and began making a difference. For example, they were able to get a lamp post in the car park going, in half hour, that my neighbor, who has lived next door for 25yrs has never seen in working condition. And the whole time as i watched over everything they were doing, they were personable, friendly and answered all my queries and questions with a patient attitude and demeanor. Anyway, to wrap this review up, they were able to get done in 4 hours what other contractors were telling me couldn't be done in less than 8. Part of this, I feel is due to their level of knowledge and that ability that can never be taught, intuitiveness. I am a man of common sense and good standards and I say, Bravo Spirelli, Bravo. Our electricians for the life of our home.

My husband and I are very pleased with the responsiveness of Spirelli Electric. Our line was on the verge of snapping off its point of attachment on our house, after a tree fell from the storm. They showed up earlier than expected and secured the line before it could fall into our flooded property. Thank you for making our family safe again!

I just purchased a new (old) home (248 years old, to be exact) that came with some pretty serious electrical issues. After reading all of the positive reviews for Spirelli Electric online, I decided to fill out their online form and received a phone call from Emily shortly after. Based on how wonderful, friendly and knowledgable Emily was, I knew I would have a great experience with Spirelli Electric. Jeff and Gabe showed up today a couple of hours early and began tackling my laundry list of issues. My first request was to install a new outlet in the top of a lofted barn/garage space for a garage door light, and they did so quickly and neatly. Other electricians I spoke with wanted to run a visible cable line up the wall of the barn from an outlet (which would've been awful). Jeff and Gabe were able to run a line directly from the subpanel to the light from inside the wood walls on a dedicated breaker -- you can't even tell they did anything! Next they came into the house to look at issues including improperly wired outlets, outlets missing a ground, etc. They were able to provide excellent guidance on what needed to be done and were able to fix some of the problem outlets. They even helped me grab a bug off the ceiling. Haha. Needless to say I am very happy with the work they've done; they're seriously two of the nicest guys I've ever met. I'm very impressed with Spirelli Electric and look forward to seeing them in a couple of weeks when they work on resolving some more of the issues. Thanks Jeff and Gabe!!!

Jeff came out and fixed a short caused by an outdoor outlet. He took the time to explain the situation and provided options to fix. I would recommend Spirelli for anyone needing electrical help.

I have used Spirelli Electric for the past 2 years as the sole electrical contractor for a large church I work at. They have always exceeded my expectations. We have some old electrical components-some of our buildings are over 100 years old-and they have always worked to find a solution to any problem we have. Additionally, they have done new installs of lighting for us and everything has gone smoothly. All of their electricians are excellent, we usually have Jeff come to do our work.  He is outstanding. Personable, knowledgeable and very customer oriented. He has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion to get our jobs done efficiently and is alway available to assist me when I call with an issue. I can't say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend them for any type of electrical work.
