Thank you to Brett and Reimer for your fast service on our central air system. On the hottest day of the year, the response time was outstanding and greatly appreciated. Brett thoroughly tested our entire system, quickly narrowed down the burned out component and replaced it, and at a very reasonable cost. Within a couple of hours of calling Reimer, the AC was working like new.

We chose Reimer to install central air in our home since several of our friends had gone through them and all highly recommended them.

Everyone we interacted with from the time we requested a quote, through installation, were extremely friendly. Greg who did our quote was fantastic, along with Kevin and Tyler who installed the ac. The quote took less than an hour, and the installation took about 3 hours. They were on time and professional.

We're really happy with the professionalism and how everything came out.

Our technician's name was Marty. Probably one of the nicest and most patient plumbers we've ever hired. Our emergency plumbing request was on Monday (Labor Day). He came out and made quick work of a big problem. Without Marty's help, we would have canceled our party.  50 guests needed to use our bathroom, plain and simple.  Please make sure this man gets the recognition he deserves for providing such excellent service.

We replaced our AC a year and a half ago with Reimer during the hottest part of the summer of 2017. The service was quick and efficient and we were pleased with the workmanship.

Today we had Lou out to inspect our furnace. He did a thorough job explaining his findings and left a clear report of the concerns with our 16 year old furnace. I did not feel pressured to make an emergency decision, although it was clear that we need to start prepping for the inevitable.

Would definitely recommend Lou and Reimer.

We woke up yesterday morning to a cooler than normal house.  The furnace boiler was running but the house wasn't warming.  We immediately called Reimer.  After explaining the problem we were told they would call us back in a few minutes to let us know when someone could get here.  A couple minutes later they called back and said someone would be here in about an hour.

Less than a hour later , Lou the service tech arrived.  After running some tests on the pumps and electrical system, he diagnosed that the problem was with the relays that turned on and off the pumps and furnace burner.

That is why we like Reimer. Although he said we should consider upgrading our really old heating system, he tried to repair the problem. After doing a good cleaning of the contacts, everything began working just fine.  He did no high pressure selling to convince us to buy new relays at $385 each (x2). Instead we were charged less than $100 for the service call and repair.

This is why we recommend this company.

I called them to buy two new furnaces and AC units. Confirmed appointment for a week later with a sales person. Never showed... I called the office and they told me he came last week.
Office gal seemed confused and told me she could get some out, but not sure when. I told her , why would I want to do business with such an unorganized outfit. She said OK.
I wonder if she told the owner?
Other local companies came out and gave me intelligent quotes.

Terrible service and they don't stand behind thier work. Had a sump pump and water back-up system installed less than 4 years ago. Both failed and the basement flooded. They said that  they will send someone out for the low price of $199.

I called Reimer to have a really old heating unit removed from my boiler heating system. Their initial visit was professional and we were quoted what felt like a very fair price. The technicians came promptly at the scheduled time, were very nice and professional, and were done very quickly. Looking at the place where the heater used to be, I can hardly tell it was ever there. Fantastic work. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again.

Just replaced my AC for my home and every signal person I dealt with was great!! The salesmen, the crew , Lauren who called before the apt , before the work was done and finally getting the unit charged. They were professional, explained everything , friendly , always on time. They did a great job would definitely we them again and recommend.
The crew was who did the install were amazing , on time , explained everything, efficient, friendly, and did not leave any mess behind.

Their emergency service was useless. I had my furnace go in -12° weather. I called the emergency number and if they don't call you back within a certain time limit they waive a one time fee. Well, they didn't call me back within that timeframe and when they did actually call me back, The guy sounded like he was half awake (at 9:30 p.m.), asks me questions about the furnace, tried to walk me through certain things and talk to me as if I knew all about furnaces. Then he tells me I wouldn't be able to make it out until tomorrow anyway. What good is an emergency service if you have a pregnant wife, a one-year-old daughter, numerous pets and your house's interior temp drops to 40 degrees (inside).

Hire more techs if you're that backed up!

My furnace was making noises sounding like a jet plane. Called on Friday 12/27/13 and a technician came over that day.  It looked like I needed a part that had to be ordered.  He came back Monday 12/30 with the part, that made the furnace work just find, but explained the furnace was not in good shape, which I knew.  They had an opening 12/31 for  a new installation, and I ordered a new furnace. There was NO pressure.  The technician Mike was so helpful explaining my choices.  The installers came Tuesday morning, were efficient, nice, and took their time explaining everything.  I highly recommend Reimer.

I called Reimer at 1:08pm for a central air tune up earlier this afternoon.  They have an $89 tune up special currently running.
By 4:15pm the service is complete, and I had a optional $30 part replaced for a total with tax, of $131.72.
The service is quick, efficient, the technician, Kevin, was friendly, very knowledgeable, and willingly explained and answered all questions.
I highly recommend Reimer for any hvac and plumbing needs.

Went with Reimer due to first hand accounts from a few different people. We got an estimate on a Monday, took a few days to make a decision, and they were able to come out the following Friday to do the AC install. They were on time and texted when they were leaving the earlier job that day so that we knew when to expect them. Install was fairly quick considering they needed to run electrical, the AC lines, place the pad and AC compressor, etc.

I was referred to Reimer by a friend that has been using them for years...and now I am wishing I would've listened to her sooner!  From the moment I called to the moment they left my home - I experienced nothing but great, genuine customer service. We've lived in our 85 year old house for almost 31 years. We had a steam boiler (50 years old ballpark) and radiators. For the first time since we have lived here the boiler failed to heat the house. I called Reimer and a tech specialist (Lou) came out the next day. He said it would take quite a bit of work to get the thing working again. I asked him if it were his house would he install a new boiler. He said probably, yes. I said - we have to have it within the next 3 days. He made a call and told me they could take out the old unit and install the new boiler and supporting structures of pipes and so forth within our time frame.
The 4man crew came out 2 days later and spent all day dismantling and removing the old boiler and pipes. Then they installed the new boiler. Within an hour of their departure our new boiler had increased the inside temp from 57 degrees to 68 degrees. FANTASTIC! Now we aren't freezing our butts off.

Recently got a AC part fixed by Reimer. Everyone I dealt with in company was extremely professional from the office workers to the repairmen. I have three dogs that are friendly (but a handful) which the workers were very nice to.

Prices were straightforward and the work was completed on time. A minor issue came up after installation which the company came out and fixed under warranty, and again were extremely friendly.   Would recommend company for HVAC repair.

I recently needed to replace my furnace and air conditioning units.  I called Reimer first because of their reputation, and because my neighbors had used them.

I was absolutely shocked at the price difference between their estimate and the other two companies I called -- both of the other companies were reputable as well.  The different was nearly $4,000 for the same exact equipment.  

The technician did not leave me with a detailed explanation of the Lennox equipment he intended to install (as the others did) -- just a piece of paper with the pricing and his contact information.  He also neglected to inform me about the rebates that were available through National Fuel, Lennox and the Federal tax credit which add up to approximately $675.00. He also did not inform me about the Energy Star loan and payment programs, although he knew my ability to pay had been diminished by a recent job loss.

The price difference is unconscionable, and I would hesitate to ever call them again or recommend them to anyone.

I purchased a new furnace and central air from Reimer several years ago (maybe 2010?) and have had them come out for routine maintenance on it ever since. I also started using them for plumbing services when they started up that side of their business. Every interaction with them, whether on the phone with the office staff or with the guys who come to do the work, is terrific. They are always there when they say they will be, the prices seem reasonable, the work is always done well, and everyone is super friendly. They do tend to try to upsell other work or get me to sign up for one of their monthly plans, but once I decline they're never pushy about it. I would recommend them without reservations to anyone looking for HVAC or plumbing - and if they expand their range of services I'd certainly consider using them for other work in the future as well.

Difficult to deal with. Many equally qualified, less attitude hvac dealers in Buffalo. The owners may not be aware, or maybe they are, that out of the three places we contacted for an expensive job, they were the only one that was difficult to deal with. All places are well known and respected. I'm disappointed,because the name recognition is high. Maybe they are so busy it doesn't matter to them. But to me, difficulties at the selling end tell me if anything goes wrong, they won't care. Customer service tends to go down after the sale. So when there is zero up front, out expensive job, and the future ones to come will go elsewhere. Like Jameson, Zelmer, Capital, or O'Donnell. All offered quality without attitude.

I'm only posting this, because as a business owner myself, I would want to know if my service fell behind my peers. It's not the phone woman it's the script she must read. You lost a possible long term customer with an immediate 10k job because of your inflexibility.

We recently moved into our newly-purchased home, and wanted to have the HVAC checked out and tuned up.  Arrangements with Reimer were quickly and easily made.  The gentleman who showed up did so on time, as planned, calling ahead to confirm.  He did a good, professional, polite, friendly job in a reasonable amount of time.  A plumbing question arose, and as Reimer has just recently begun doing plumbing work as well, one of their pluming staff was called who came to the house promptly.  He, too, provided quality service.  Each was neat and clean, even wearing booties/footies upon entering the house, and made a good appearance.  Both needed to do some minor work, and they explained and showed what they were going to do and actually did do.  And, their services were reasonably priced.  We're now happy customers, and will call Reimer for further similar work in the future, as well as in the event of an emergency.

First time using this company. I was not a fan. Charged me $89 to come out and look at a leaky pipe to my boiler. Boiler was working fine. No Issue just some water dripping. They didn't actually troubleshoot anything just snapped a picture and said it needed to be replaced and so did my water heater (which is 2yrs old and works great) then he quoted me 9- 13k to replace the system (1000 sq ft house) price dependent on system. I had 4 people I know have their systems replaced and AC added all of them with larger systems and 2 story houses and the most expensive was 7k. So it took every ounce of energy in me to not laugh in his face and be polite and not kick him out of my house. So I guess the $89 I paid wasn't actually for a service call it was for the privilege of getting a ridiculous quote. Giving 2 stars because they were on time and the tech was professional, so that is something. Perhaps if you have unlimited funds this is the company to use, but  that's not me.

I have an air conditioning unit I purchased through Reimer 3 years ago to cool my 1st floor and have signed up for their yearly service agreement.  I  cannot express how happy I am with their technician Lou.  I now request him to do our maintenance here.  He is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to make sure things are done right.  If you request Lou-you won't have a problem.

This is a VERY serious issue with Reimer.  I've had their maintenance agreement in place for several years on three of my properties.  Last year, the Reimer tech said that the furnaces in all three of my properties were working just fine.  Last week (12 months later) they came out and said that each of the furnaces in two of my properties needed to be replaced.  I asked if the heat exchangers were cracked on either one.  They said, No, but they looked pretty cruddy.  

Reimer gave me a quote of $11,000 for each of the properties, which included replacement of both the furnace and an otherwise working central air conditioner (because if it leaked into the new furnace, the new furnace warranty wouldn't cover it, they said).  A fairly intensive new furnace sales effort accompanied this quote!

Feeling somewhat suspicious, I called another furnace vendor (Capital Heating) to give me a second opinion on my furnace.  They inspected it and said that my supposedly defective furnace was working fine and passed all test parameters.  There was certainly no need to replace it!

Lesson learned.  Unless your furnace stopped working altogether or if the heat exchanger is cracked, always get a second opinion from another vendor. With outfits like Reimer out there, don't ever rely on a single inspection or estimate when replacing something as costly as a furnace or central air conditioner.  Needless to say, I canceled my maintenance agreement with Reimer on all three of my properties.

I've dealt with this company for years . In the past four years something has changed.twice I've gotten a cocky little jerk come to the house. This past time he comes in says. You need a new boiler. Then walks toward door . He explained alittle of what was wrong. But just left. No follow up from company for a new boiler. They lost. I went some where else.

All options were clearly explained to us. The cost the time and warranty and maintenance schedule.We decided to go with your tankless system.Carl and Cody were on time professional and did the job in a very timely manner. Upon completion of the installation I was shown the unit and was completely informed of it's function. Carl and Cody left the space clean and we're extremely kind and welcoming me to Buffalo as this is my first time living here. I would highly recommend your company and wish to thank all your technicians.

I have had very bad experiences with AC companies in Buffalo. While Reimer was not the worst company I have dealt with, my experience was not a very good one. I bought a new carrierinfinityfurnace from them but when installing it, even though I asked them to confirm the model prior to installation, they turned out installing aperformance series. After I found out, they told me the truth that the sales agent made a mistake, they couldn't install a infinity because I didn't get the thermostat. However, rather than telling me the truth before installing the performance furnace, everyone involved decided to hide what was happening until the job was finished.

I couldn't believe that awell established company would do something like this. I also had a bad experience with their plumbing service (another story) but now I know to never buy anything new from them.

It's never fun or painless to have to replace your furnace especially during the polar vortex, my furnace began acting up Tuesday night during single digit temps, I called at 9 pm and Andrew showed up about one hour later to check my existing furnace, I had already been cautioned about a year ago by another local hvac company that replacement was imminent, Andrew recommended the same thing, furnace was running at that point but he helped me troubleshoot in case it stopped again & also left a space heater in case it wouldn't come back on, new furnace install was scheduled for Thursday am as Wednesday was already booked, everything was explained (as much as I could comprehend the technical stuff) and I was advised to call or text if anything came up in meantime, fast forward to Thursday am & I got a phone call from office that installers would be there within an hour, and they were, Mark & Shawn could not have been any more polite, professional, tidy & respectful...I would recommend them to anyone & will use them again, already put in a request for a plumbing quote for work that needs to be done

We had a very bad experience with these guys today. Stay away.

We had already diagnosed that we needed a new Gas Valve and called to hire them to fix the gas valve. They agreed to this over the phone, but when they got to our house they said they had to charge $79 to diagnose the problem. I already had the boiler taken apart, so he walked downstairs and said, yep, its the gas valve. And we were charged $79 unless we wanted to sign up for a membership.

Anyway, our boiler cost $1500 new 6 years ago, and we just paid $500 to have the Gas valve fixed. I will definitely tell my friends not to use Reimer.

Get a 2nd opinion before buying a furnace from Reimer. I just bought my house a month a go and I was hearing a rumbling noise. Called Reimer for a look over and possible a tune up. The technician came in and the first thing out of his mouth was my air conditioner was illegal (he was there for the Furnace). He briefly looked it over and then told me I needed a new furnace because the repairs were $2,500.
The price he quoted me for a furnace and AC (because it's illegal) was $15,000!
My 2nd opinion came in and quoted me $500 for 2 Parts and I'll get another 5 years out of the furnace. Oh and my AC is not illegal. Shame on you Reimer for charging $80 to do nothing to my furnace and just giving me an estimate of $15,000 . Shouldn't estimates be free?

Had reimer here to check my central a/c unit. Scott said everything was good but became very rude and nasty saying he doesn't tolerate other companies giving me an estimate when he saw t- marks truck waiting to give me another estimate for a new central a/c unit.  All he did was bad mouth them. Its my choice to get another estimate besides them. Never again with reimer especially if all employees are rude like scott was.

We had a furnace, hot water tank and sump pump replaced on two different occasions due to equipment failure.  They were friendly, professional and experienced.  Quick response.  Explained everything in detail.  What they quote you is what you pay.  Highly recommend.

Very nice service. I got bad news for a new home purchase on my ac and furnace condition and it was delivered in a very nice way!! Lou was highly trained and did a great job cleaning up what he could. Thanks Reimer.
