They responded to my call in 5 mins, got to our house within an hour and were reasonably priced. The two young men in Mark's crew who came to the house were curtious and also caught a mistake left by another plumber years earlier that was dangerous (sewer fumes!) and sealed that off too after they cleared my sewer backup. Other plumbers called that day responded in a day or two after the job was completed by Mark's crew! Love an honest and hardworking locally owned business. Thanks.

Vacinek installed a new furnace, top of the line, a new water tank and I had the ducts cleaned. My biggest complaint was for the duct work. I had called before the appointment to find out what it would entail. I was told they would call me back because she did not have an answer. On the day of, the men spent about 12 minutes upstairs with the vents but I a pretty sure that the ones that were nailed into the wall were never touched. Those that were open, had dust and other particles all over the floor and surroundings. I spent a lot of time vacuuming and cleaning up the mess. Just before they left, the men said that I did not have to clean up the dust bunnies, I kept my mouth shut because there is no way, they would have noticed the dust under my bed covers, inside my curtains, on my book shelf and I knew that I would be the only one to get it done the way it was before they started the cleaning. Had I been told that a mess was going to be made, I would have put plastic down.Towards the end of the day, I heard the machine in the basement for about 10 minutes.
I had done my research and even had friends show and explain to me what Vacinek had done in their house. I also had prices and for the $500 I paid, I feel I was ripped off. Friends paid $200 a year earlier and had the work done for more than 3 hrs. When I called to question, I was told that each house is different and in comparison to my house, mine is much smaller than my friends. The owner told me he would have one of the guys call me about the job. I did get a call and they said they spent at least 90 minutes cleaning the vents. There is no way, the machine they use is very loud. I was in the house, I would have known. I was also told they have a new way of cleaning that is much faster. Well if it is much faster, why so expensive? I was told they put a filter in and run it through the filter. Another question, did they use mine? because I am missing one.
There is no way I was going to win on this one and I feel I was taken advantage of. No deal was offered even though I bought their most expensive furnace and had the new water heater installed. Unlike the coupons they have for install ac and get a furnace for $1000
While I have no idea about how the furnace runs, I will have to wait and see.
I will say, that rust was left on my driveway, which I spent time, scrubbing and there was a mess left out on my porch and yard from concrete they had used.

Outrageously EXPENSIVE plumber! I need a few simple things done and called for a quote. I nearly fell over when Jeffery Plumbing quoted $220 for installation of a new toilet - and that's with me providing the toilet! A Toilet install only costs $100 with the major plumbers. This is a Rip Off Alert ... don't overpay for your plumbing needs.

I called sunbeam to check out my furnace for some issues I was having. Long story short they advised me a switch was stuck in the on position and I needed a new one. Well all they did was clear a little dust out of a tube and said they can order the part and come back another day. They advised me the part was $350 and tried to get me to sign up for a membership. Which I declined all. Found the part for $40 online, which I didn't need anyways. I did pay them for their callout service, that's it. Now I am receiving multiple bills in the mail for over $500. I have been calling multiple times a week and all I get is I will forward this message to the billing department. Guess what. No call back. Place is a rip off stay away to avoid a massive inconvenience/headache.

Had to get a new wax ring under my shitter because the guy I bought the house from didn't know how to screw in a light bulb, let alone install a toilet. Wife says that the technician arrived promptly, was both polite and corteous and, most importantly, got the job done for roughly $250 LESS than the greedy bastards at Roto Router wanted me to shell out. Don't even get me started.

Can't speak highly enough of the thorough, professional service I received from Joe at Kandefer. We had a gas leak in basement and our gas was shut off. Matthew Kandefer was able to send out a plumber, take the time to find 4 small leaks and not charge an arm and a leg.
They cared and that really impressed me. Thank you.

Never showed up or called to me .
I would never recommend a plumber who
does not respect your time.

This business has fallen to complacency. The salesmen are condescending and rude. I don't have time for their self-entitlement and have removed them from our vendor list.

Took snowblower in for new paddles. $200 worth of work done without my approval only to have the blower never work after work because motor was shot. Would never have put that much money into an older blower. Asked them to refund part or all of costs and never got back to me. I make it a point to support small businesses but will never return here. I would have put that $200 towards a new blower instead of putting it into old one had they just called for pre approval.
