Called this company for an estimate over a month ago. Came and said he would have estimate in 24 48 hours. Two months later no call, no estimate, disappeared. If they cannot call when we are gonna give him 20K what make s me think he will show up when there is a HVAC emergency. No Thanks

This place preys on single women. They try to tell you that you need a brand new conditioning unit when all you need is a $40 part. *I know this because this is exactly what happened to me.* they told me i needed a brand new $3800 air conditioning unit . I asked why can't i just have the part replaced ( a new fan blade) and they told me the part was discontinued and they couldn't get the part. The woman at the desk (apparently the OWNER ) told me she called ALL of her distributors and she couldn't get the part. She also would not disclose who her distributors were when I asked.
I looked up the part myself, found it online for $40. It was shipped next day air. I installed it myself in 15 minutes.
This place LIES to you !!!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars - but this site won't let me.
We had lost heat to half the home in a boiler system, and when we called keiffer to come take a look at it, they purged our lines and said we would be all good to go. After they left we still had no heat in the home, when we called back to see if they could come back out to take a look at it, they told us that they were confident we got air into our system somehow (blaming us for the issue) and that they would get back to us by the end of the day on when they can come and purge the system of the air again (paid service of course). They then neglected to call us back by the end of the day and when we contacted them the following morning (On a Friday before a weekend with a high of 15°) they told us that they couldn't get out to us until Monday but they would bring us a small portable heater to get us by. Even though we had 6 rooms and 3 bedrooms in the house without heat, they offered a single heater. When we called another company to come take a look they came and told us that keiffer had turned off all of our valves and left us that way. So all in all keiffer came out and turned our heat off, told us it was our fault it's not working then also told us we would need to pay more for them to come fix their own mistake. What a joke! I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone. They are not punctual, don't communicate with the customer and have sabotaged us for more work.
After trusting this company for over 20 years, a recent service call was nothing but a sales call. Our air conditioning AND furnace were purchased and installed by Keiffer 20 years ago. Recently it began to drip a very small amount of water so I called for service. The fellow who came to my house told me I need a whole new AC/heating system and that the air ducts in my house needed to be cleaned. He also said that the current furnace is way too big for my house. (He insulted the company he works for) After over an hour of repeating himself and never getting to a specific issue with my system nor how much it would cost to replace the existing unit, it became apparent he was not going to repair ANYTHING but did want to sell everything. Most importantly, he became WAY too personal - asking inappropriate questions about politics and my marital status. He NEVER took a tool out of his bag nor attempted to fix anything. This had been a reputable and trustworthy hometown business I was happy to work with for years, however, now I would have given ZERO stars if that were an option.
