Ozzy's is a rip off, they over charge ($595) me to install a water regulator on a Saturday.

This is the guy to call for ALL your plumbing needs! Five things come to mind when I think of Ozzie's Plumbing; great service, courteous, honest, reliable, and best prices!! I can't say enough good things about Ozzie's Plumbing.  Ozzie has helped me with 2 plumbing issues.  Most recently with an embarrassing sewer lateral issue I had in front of my house.  He is always on time and patient with me concerning all my questions, he takes the time to explain what is happening and what needs to be fixed.  I've dealt with other plumbers and quotes on repair needs and Ozzie is always honest and has the most reasonable prices.  In my experience he goes the extra mile to make sure I'm satisfied with his work.  And he keeps everything clean!  I've never used anyone else after I met Ozzie and I'm never calling anyone else for my plumbing needs.  Thank you Ozzie for everything!!

Complete rip off! for someone who knows nothing about there homes or properties they might be great, but the tech that came out talked in circles with contradictions in his statement. I showed him the leaking sewage and problem and he saw it was coming from pressure build up on the home side. I have a newer house that has a check valve that has a two way system to keep blockage from the city to run into the home. The problem was on the home side and because he could not get the check cover off in the garage, he opened the other side and pertended that it was an issue when the water was running on that side just fine. He snaked it out, but the blockage on the other end had long already cleared itself out and snaked it. I kept insisting that is was the otherside but again this guy talks in circles, untill your so annoyed that u try not to make conversation. Then he insisted on borescoping the line to the street, without mention of the cost, I ask him the cost he reluctantly tells me 200.00. I say its not to the street side, he doesnt listien and still borescopes it exclaiming I just need the piece of mind By the end of the whole ordeal i just wanted this dude outta my house. Then he has the adudacity to ask for a 85.00 added charge since he hooked me up with such a great deal! This was after I had already tipped him 30.00 !!!!! So this all happens JANUARY 26th 2015. MARCH 2nd I wake up to the same problem from just a few weeks ago.... I call the company and raise heck to the owner manger or whom ever the heck he was and he insisted on getting a tech out immediatly.  
I wait all day for this dude and call back at 3pm, becasue i now have substantial water damage from the house been leaking all day, and this dude has the audacity to say im doing you a favor! Seriously?!?!?!?! If your doing me a favor this dude would have done the job properly the first time and i wouldnt be calling and complaining four weeks later. Now my insurance company has to get involved and I have to pay a deductible for that plus plumbing repairs. The guys said oh you should jet it out. I get the jetting aspect, but snaking the proper line would have fixed the problem for more than a few weeks time. They are a company that will try and suck money out f you where they can and try and make you feel bad or that you are getting a hook up!!!!! Go with ANDERSON PLUMBING!!! they're legit! The service guys name was JT.

so our main water line from the street to the house blew.  HUGE problem right?  Yes it is.  I checked reviews on yelp then called ozzy's and now i have no more problems!  First off when they said i wouldn't be charged an emergency rate after 5 i was happy.  they were at the house till around 8 checking with equipment for the leaks, which they found right away.  Their professional staff from top to bottom made me happy every step of the way!  they then came in and put in copper pipes then sleeved that from the main to house. dug through the worst vines and tree roots to get down to the pipes then replaced some cheesy crap someone had installed before and did it the right way.  now i should never have a problem with copper.  then they put in a regulator cause my pressure was way to strong it was even obvious to me, lowered my water pressure which i can now adjust and i'll be saving water from here on out from that alone.  

Can't say enough about the people i spoke to in the office and the staff that came out to do the work they were very friendly, i have kids and don't want just anyone around my kids, these guys had families of their own and even took off their shoes before coming in the house, huge deal for me with kids.  I rarely get a business that performs this well on every level, they did not pay me nor do i know ozzy at all i'm just really excited about not getting ripped off by plumbers, its hard to find good work these days and i want fellow yelpers to know this business is top notch.  give them a call.  emergency or not if i ever have another problem i'm not calling anyone else. thanks ozzy!  great job hiring a good staff!  way to go!

Guys did a great job replacing main sewer line at my grandmothers house today in Chula Vista! Professional, courteous and efficient staff! Replaced about 40ft of main line with excavation in about 5hrs.

I highly recommend Ozzy's Plumbing Services. They have worked on my old home for over 6 years and have always provided great, friendly and prompt service. This last plumbing service was due to a leaky toilet and Ozzy's Plumbing sent someone out that day. The service man, Mike was very nice and repaired the leak. However, I noticed that that the toilet was still leaking, less than before, but still leaking. I called Ozzy's knowing the service was still under warranty, and Marco on the phone was very prompt at getting someone to my house and very responsive in letting me know that status of my appointment.  Ozzy and Marlo came to my home, very friendly as always. They made some modifications to the repair at no cost and the toilet has been perfect since.  Thank you guys for your always great service!

I called them a couple of times. They tell you yes we will be there. Then you call back because it's taking longer than it should. And you get no answer. Zero stars, the last two times they told me sure we will be there. I had to call them back 7 times, they never answered.

They text me saying the plumber on call isn't answering his phone and the other plumber is with his wife. Okay cool that's how you supposedly run a business. Then they don't really show professionalism. They dont answer your phone calls or return your calls.

So then I called affordable plumbing and they showed up within under 25 minutes of the phone call on a Sunday. Their service call was only $165 for a Sunday emergency call. That's cheap.!! try to beat that Ozzy's. I will never call these jerks again. Good thing about this experience is that I found a better company that plumbs cheaper. Even on weekends their rates are lower than Ozzie's weekday rates.

Had a water leak and called Ozzy based on recommendations.  They sent someone right away, all staff is very knowledgeable and professional. If you don't like dealing with no shows or unexperienced handymen to save a couple of bucks you must call this company. They will stand behind their jobs 100%.

I own and operate a residential property management firm in San Diego called  calpmg.com yelp.com/biz/calpmg-corp… and we needed an emergency visit at one of our properties in San Diego. Our normal maintenance guy visited the home and was not able to complete the job and that left our residents without water.  I found Ozzys Plumbing online made the call and Marco their area manager had one of their staff at my property within 40 minutes. Marlo their technician was quick with a diagnosis and repaired our main water line.  They also gave us a good price.

Ozzy's Plumbing is a fantastic business! They came out first thing in the morning, brought cake with them (for their first customer) and proceeded to say that by the end of the day, we'd have hot water again! And, they did it. We got an A-1 product, put in professionally and all pieces cleaned and removed. Ozzy even stayed until hot water ran from the water heater. I can't express how much I am impressed with their work and good nature. Ozzy's isn't the cheapest in town, but he uses quality products (he replaced our old garbage disposal and it has never caused one lick of issue!). I am telling you, this is quality service!

This place quoted me $800 to replace a shower stem. I got another plumber out same day and he charged me $110 for the hour. It took him 30 min. Not sure where $800 came from but what a huge rip off. Way to capitalize during a national emergency..

I hired Ozzie to clear my drain about a year ago, and he told me after running a camera through the line, that the pipe was in bad shape and the only way he could fix it was to install a double clean-out so he could run the snake in both directions. The cost would normally be $3300.00, but since he lives in the neighborhood, he could do it for $2600.00 cash. He also said the line was 4' to 41/2' deep. I reluctantly agreed to the $2600.00 cash since the drain was plugged. He proceeded to do the work, and in actuality, the line was less than 2' deep. He installed the double clean out, and I thought everything was alright until I decided to have my drain lines relined. When the new plumber tried to run the camera through the new clean-outs, only one side of the double clean-out had the proper sweep installed while the other one was installed using a T connection instead of a sweep, and this would prevent him from being able to reline the pipe without digging it up, which is now poured over with concrete. He also found that the pipe is broken on both sides of the cleanout that Ozzie's installed, and should have been repaired when it was accessible. He also discovered that the couplings that were used left a lip inside the pipe causing build up and restricting flow. He also told me that he would have charged me less than a $1000.00 to install the double sweep clean-outs that were installed, and he would have used the correct materials. Ozzie's is a rip off, and I think 1 star is too high of a rating. I am now faced with saw cutting, demolition
and excavating to replace the repairs and problems caused by Ozzie's.

I don't post many reviews. When I do, it's only because I'm thoroughly impressed and would recommend that vendor to all my loved ones. The team at Ozzy's sets themselves apart from the rest because they are knowledgeable, professional, respectful of your home, and make a not fun situation (as most plumbing issues are not fun!) less stressful. My master bath sink stopped up AGAIN shortly after Bill Howe Plumbing fixed it. Instinctively I knew not to call them again, and through friends found out about Ozzy's. Best find ever. JT patiently explained everything to me when I peppered him with questions. Ultimately customers want the peace of mind in knowing their home has been fixed properly... Not the quick fix garbage that Bill Howe served up. JT took the time to diagnose the problem, and then fixed it to ensure all possible measures were taken to prevent any future problems. He worked hard to find the right LONG-TERM solution to my problem. He and the rest of Ozzy's team are clearly focused on doing things right and treating their customers like family, instead of looking at their customers as dollar signs. In my gut I feel Bill Howe did a quick fix job and anticipated I would call them back after my warranty expired to come back out and fix the sub-par job they did. Instead, I'm so impressed by Ozzy's team's honesty and ethics that I'm also going to sign up for their maintenance checkup program. I initially trusted the big name Bill Howe has, but that was a huge mistake. I would never use them again. Instead, Ozzy's has my business and anyone else I refer them to. After calling others in town they had JT out within 45 minutes to evaluate my water heater. He left for supplies came back and was done by 2:00pm. Other company wanted me to wait until Thursday for a leaking water heater.  Great job Ozzie's will tell my friends. By the way also cheaper than the other one!

Very happy with the service and price.

I called this morning and he showed up before noon. The price was in my price range, it was great. He finished the job in less than an hour, can't beat that.
