Christmas day disaster. My sewer was plugged and shower was leaking.  Lucky Joe Muro Plumbing came after the holiday and took care of it.  They were neat (no mess in my house), reliable, reasonably priced and fixed the problem quickly.  Exceptional service and at the right price.  Felt like I could trust them to do the job right!  And lucky for me sewer and shower back in service!

After some emails to the business owner he agreed to reduce the travel time to 30mins...which is still longer than it would take to drive the 5km across town but better than his original price. I would still recommend that this cost be discussed in advance and a written estimate requested before work started.

Expensive.  Charged me from the time his employee left the business, not from when he got to my home.  Job was to add a second sump pump.  Needed a second check valve as the existing pump did not have one.  Think they would have a second check valve in the van J Muro told me contained $20,000 in parts. No, I paid for trip into town of port colborne where the second needed check valve was purchased. I believe in legitimate profit on parts, in this case a sump pump primarily. Parts alone were $322.00 . Job took one hour and twenty minutes, I paid for 3hours. Bottom line was my existing sump pump was raised to act as a back up. New sump pump was installed including two check valves, a PVC y connector, two 3foot PVC pipes, two bricks and that cost $585 after taxes. Suggest you find an independent plumber, buy the parts yourself and get it done for much less money.  Employee did a good job.

We have used Muro for all of our plumbing needs. Have found their staff to be caring and attentive.  Response to issues is prompt and courteous. This past week we had a major furnace breakdown which cause a lot of stress and concern due to cold weather and lack of heat as well as a strange odour from furnace exhaust. Sadly our furnace had to be shutdown due to Co2 however , we were shown the readings and given options. In the end we were back up with heat after 2 days without, Muros team was caring and even offered us use of their portable heaters. Would highly reccomend for all our plumbing needs.

Worst business practices I have ever heard of. Requires a credit card number before they come out. Will not give estimate on repair, will charge your credit card when completed then send you the recept. It is like giving a signed blank check to a plumber and telling him to fill in amount.
