Go Green Plumbing

Not good these cowboys, avoid at all costs.  Terrible service and attitude.  Tell you one thing and do the opposite.  Job not done properly and when they come back not interested and it shows when they make up nonsense to suit themselves at your expense.   Quick to take your money but not as quick to rightly give it back.

We have been renovating our house over the last two years and Go Green Plumbing has been such a big part of it. We have built an additional bathroom, moved sinks, moved toilets, added individual shutoffs to our water lines, installed an ice maker, and so much more. Go Green Plumbing's staff have been so wonderful to work with. They are on time, great communication, and work efficiently. I had been referred to go green plumbing from a client . My experience with the company was that of dishonesty and no integrity in their work . I recently found a large hole that they cut in my spare room to get to the shower . I m not really surprised that they did not tell me about this . I feel because I'm a single female that I was taken advantage of . I did not pay anything in the end but had to live without a shower for two weeks till I could find someone else .

So I had a leaking faucet. I was pretty sure it's a washer, but I know nothing about plumbing, so I called in for a quote.

They came out, free of charge. Point in their favour, and that makes it 2 stars.

They quoted me $600. They said that replacing a washer wouldn't help, because they needed to do more, because the inner workings would be damaged by now.

It was a small leak, I didn't have the money, so I waited a month and saved up. It became a big leak, so I figured I would replace the washer as a stopgap measure. Looked up a video on youtube. took me 5 minutes to pull out the faucet. Took me 20 minutes to run to walmart and buy a $0.50 washer. Took me another 5 minutes to replace the faucet.

The inner workings were pristine brass. No lime, no corrosion, no scratches. The faucet doesn't leak.

So while they were polite, prompt, and courteous, this was a blatant attempt at gouging me - I ask for a washer to be replaced, they tell me they need to replace the whole faucet? No thanks.
