Response to my message via Yelp was no more than 15 minutes and was answered by the actual drain specialist/company owner. He gave me a quote to open a cometely clogged sink drain and we set up a same day time slot. It wound up that he finished a previous job earlier than expected and offered to come earlier. Of course I took the offer.

Upon meeting Rob G in person, he was very cordial, clean, professional and took care of my clogged sink drain in less than 30 minutes. He made sure the drain was clear and fully operational and offered to call him back as a guarantee should there be any issue afterwards. Price was as quoted - NO bait and switch.

I found Rob G to be very respectful, honest, and cares about his business/profession/work. You will see this from interacting with him but the proof is in his truck with how meticulously organized and clean it was. I called and spoke with Robert the owner, around 5 pm he said he'd be at my house within an hour and he was. He had to come and fix something that another company didn't do properly the first time I had the clog. Robert was great. He responded to my call immediately and scheduled an appt for next day to clear my kitchen clog. Price was very reasonable. When he arrived, he explained everything he was going to do. He even updated some old parts and provided some recommendations on how to clean the drain periodically. He's my new go to plumber. Called them after having snakes my pipes twice to no avail - basement toilet kept overflowing and water not reaching sewer - several plumbing companies were offering major jobs costing several thousands. I called urgent drain, they came, and worked on it immediately - they fixed it for a great price - no tearing up the floor or re doing pipes or unnecessary expenses .... That was 2 weeks ago and basement is dry and all is good!!!

Mekel came out to fix a clogged sink. We actually had another drain company come and they charged $300 to try and unblock our drain and they failed and recommended opening up walls to replace pipes. I called Urgent Drain for a second opinion and they were able to come out and fix the problem in about 30 minutes and make recommendations on how to avoid issues in the future. Urgent Drain is my go-to company for a clogged drain now!

Absolutely AMAZING plumber!! I called late at night last night with a plumbing emergency. I have been experiencing flooding in my basement for several days. Robert was so kind; he patiently listened to my concerns and explained his recommendations. I was impressed that he could fit me in for the next day in the morning. He discovered that there was something stuck in my pipes, causing a blockage. I had planned to get the trap replaced, but he informed me that I no longer needed to after he removed the blockage. I have had at least 3 plumbers come by in the last few months, and none of them discovered the blockage. They all said I have an old system and need to get it replaced. Robert saved me a lot of money, work, and stress. I am so incredibly grateful! I would highly recommend Urgent Drain for any plumbing needs. They are affordable, kind, and knowledgeable. Had a situation on my bathroom that when the toilet flushed, the shower would flood up with water. I messaged Urgent Drain through Yelp and was quoted $400 flat fee to resolve the matter. The scheduling was prompt and easy. Robert texted 30 minutes before he would arrive.

They looked at the situation and said snaking the drain would resolve the matter. They removed the toilet and began to snake the drain. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. A+ for that

The fee came out to a bit more than what I was quoted. $400 for the pipe cleaning, $150 to remove the toilet and put it back on, and $20 for a credit card processing fee. Luckily, I had a discount through yelp but I would have liked to have been notified of the additional fees beforehand, so that was my only gripe.

Great experience with Robert and his team. We had a major clog on the day of the election and he made accomodations and came by in 3 hours! Spent the whole time making sure they find the source of the blockage (roots in the sewage pipe 100 feet away!). Very approachable when asked questions and provided real logical responses. I rarely give reviews but when its due, it's for a worthy cause. As for the bottom line - very reasonable compared to the others who gave mediocre results and on top - ripoff (I know them). These guys are now on my speed dial. Thanks, Robert!

I called Urgent Drain about a downspout underground drain that got clogged. Robert and his tech arrived on time, were very patient with explaining what they're doing and answering all my questions. They un-clogged the drain, provided a good advice on how to prevent or at least lower the chances for a future clogs and the price, which was very good, was exactly as discussed over the phone.

Officially added to the good people list. On the same day we called, Rob came out and immediately corrected our issue. In the ongoing journey of renovating an 1894 Victorian, we have run into way more bad contractors than desired. It's hard to put into words how grateful you feel as a homeowner when someone simply does a good job at what they say they are going to do for the price they said they were going to do it for. Especially when you don't speak the lingo of the job at hand - you just know you have an issue that you need fixed immediately.

Rob checked all the boxes. He was very responsive in keeping me updated on what time he would arrive although we literally had just called him a couple hours prior. He was professional & considerate, had his own booties to cover dirty shoes (little thing that really is a big thing) and was willing to talk to our other contractors to make sure everyone was on the same page. He was honest and only did what we actually needed rather than what we thought we needed. Literally saved us so much money. He came in, did the job, was beyond fair and kind.

I just purchased a home in North Brunswick and had major sewage issues, basement flooded the works. I literally called urgent drain and they were there that day. When the workers came they went right to work. They put the camera down my trap, snaked my line and hydro jetted it. It was hot and they was grinding. At the end before they left I found out that one of the guys that was out there grinding for like 4-5 hours was the Owner Rob. If the OWNER grinds like that, I know all his workers do. I highly recommend him. You get top quality service at fair and reasonable prices..

Very pleased with the Urgent Drain service. I happened to work with Robert.

He responded very quickly to my inquiry. Scheduling and getting a quote was a breeze. Robert called in the morning of the appointment to confirm and yet again 15 minutes before arrival. This did help me with scheduling my own time.

On arrival he was wearing a face mask even though the job was out in the yard. I appreciate that.

I am the type who wants to know what is being done and what is going on. So he explained what he was doing and why as he was doing it. He provided advice on what can be done in the future but did not push or try to sell any 'extras'.

Work was completed within the scheduled time.

This morning we discovered our basement slop sink wasn't draining and I couldn't get to the clog. I called Rob due to the great reviews on yelp. He called me back almost immediately and he gave me what I thought was a reasonable quote and we agreed on a time when they would arrive.

Rob arrived when he said he would and was friendly and polite. Got to work right away and found the clog and after a little bit cleared the drain. We were chatting throughout and he gave me some tips on keeping the drains clean.

Best part was when it was time to settle up he asked for LESS then the original estimate that was quoted because it didn't take hm as long as he thought it would!!

That's the kind of honesty and integrity that you just don't see much these days and it was much appreciated. Rob told me I had a 90 day warranty and if their were any further issues they would return at no cost.

I called bluekrait n regard it later on . Never ever again calling this guy. Called this guy on 02/16/2018 n we agree he will come n waited. Then later on he got busy n we arranged next day for service no problem . He came he did try to remove main sewer line cap h couldn't open so he broke the tip on main line as you guys can see pictures that i post . If he would have told me hey this is very serious that you should get fixed a asap before heaving rain came or so that will be flood ur basement. And 03/01 03/02 heavy rain came n flooded our basement with 3 to 4 foot of sewer water . He never mention me and me as a new home owner no idea that i have to go throu hell n cost me thousands fo dollars in damages our furnance and furniture n oil tank got damage:( please next time warn customer so they won get heart attack from you ).

Rob is awesome. He'll be who I call from now on for plumbing issues. I had a major clog in my kitchen sink and my usual plumber, who I have a service contract with, couldn't clear it. They tried from the kitchen down, as well as from the basement up, with no success. That plumber charged me $1000 for the time, labor and replacing the trap under my sink...and left me with a clogged, unusable kitchen sink. I called Rob. He came by the next day. Cleared the clog in 15 minutes for a very reasonable cost and ensured everything was functioning correctly. Rob is also a super nice guy, very friendly and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Urgent Drain.

I had to replace a kitchen sink faucet and I got in contact on a Saturday, and he came Monday morning, exactly on time. Price was absolutely affordable and the job was done super quick. It was not an easy job as the space was very tight due to a garbage disposal being in the way. There was a problem with the hot water line being too short and he was able to completely solve it without having to leave and get a new part and potentially costing me more. Would absolutely use again and plan on having him come out in the future.

Think twice before using this company. Robert came to my Mom's house because she had a clogged sink. He spent 2 hours there and had to leave to go to another customer leaving the house a mess. He left with merky water in 2 sinks and her bathtub. He told her he would return the next day to finish the job but he never showed. He charged her $600 without completing the job. I called the company as I felt my Mom was taken advantage of. I spoke with Anthony and he told me he would speak to Robert and call me back, he never did. I called again and he informed me he was not going to help!

I called yesterday night to get an appointment for our tenants apartment. Spoke with Robert he was friendly and extremely professional provided me an appointment for early morning today. Really great fast services unlike others wanting us to wait a week or more. You need anything draining related call them now!! The company name is perfect fitting for them they are extremely correct with urgent, is what they provided us. I'm thrilled I called them and will keep them in mind for any other further services needed. Reasonable cost also, You won't go wrong with calling them.

I think it's a fair statement to say that finding a GOOD and TRUST WORTHY plumber is a dime a dozen. I found both here. I read the reviews first and decided to call immediately. I spoke to Robert who was extremely informative and helpful. He arrived on time with another plumber, and was extremely professional and friendly. We had a major issue with our kitchen sink drain that couldn't be fixed with Drano. Due to holidays, it was hard finding someone to come out or the rates were very high. Robert got us a very reasonable quote and scheduled us for the earliest time next morning. I hired Rob and his son after they assured me that the reason why water/sewage was seeping from the base of my toilet was a clogged pipe, not the sewage line like what two young men from a business in South Orange, NJ, said. Jerry and Shawn quoted me over $600 to snake the sewer line and secure my toilet to the bathroom floor. I turned them away, even after Jerry asked if $500 was acceptable.
Rob and junior came 5 minutes later, inspected my my sewage system and bathroom pipes, and got started right away. Rob explained everything before and during the service. He even educated me on preventative measures, i.e., use septic-friendly tissue, even for non-septic systems, and to have my pipes redone to correct the 90-degree angle.
Why only 4 stars? I had to take off one, because my wife spent a good hour cleaning up the oil splatter from the snake drain. Other than that, Rob and his young son did a great job. They won my trust.
