Over the years, we've used many plumbing services and Prestige Plumbing surpasses anyone I've come across so far.  Chico came recommended by our friend where he installed a new tank-less water heater and water softener.

Chico is responsive, friendly, flexible and extremely easy to work with.  His team went above and beyond my expectations.  He is very timely and accurate in his estimation of time to complete the project.  

We got 6 quotes from different companies to change our main line, perform a full re-pipe under our house (municipal water and sewer line), install a new water heater, reverse osmosis and water softener.  

They offered one of the best prices.  Especially if I had to account for all the services provided at no extra cost such as adding a new laundry box, new insulation for our copper pipe, drilling a hole for our reverse osmosis ...  

Our project entailed a lot of details and some were added/changed after the projects started.  They were able to do everything and beyond.  For example, they moved our hose bibs and added irrigation valves.  Everything was done with a permit and we passed inspection this week.  

If you are looking for any plumbing service, you won't regret going with them.  They are now our go-to plumbing service!

I am going to provide a very strong recommendation today and that is for my new plumber. Chico from Prestige Plumbing was hired for a relatively big job and I am so very pleased that I found him.
Not only was he reasonably priced for the work that needed to be done but he explained the whole process to me, went about his business professionally and cleaned everything up at the end. His work is very thorough so I'm not worried at all about it passing inspection.

My old 40 year old galvanized gas line from my house to my pool heater completely degraded. Chico and his crew installed a brand new 2 line thru my garage attic, under the house via the crawl space and outside to the pool house. Most of the gas line outside had to be trenched. The line was over 160' feet and although it was a lot of work, Chico and his crew got it done timely. While under the house, he spotted a leaky pipe which he brought to my attention and will fix.

I will definitely be giving Prestige Plumbing any future plumbing jobs and I recommend others to give him a call for an estimate!

Ask for Chico

Chico and crew did amazing work in my house. The long rainy season took a toll on our sewage lines which  were all clogged up, leaving us with backed up drains on a long weekend. Chico came to our house in night and didn't hesitate to work in the heavy rain. He came again next day with 4 more folks and did drain cleaning, clean outs installation, shower leak fix and a few other minor things. Price was reasonable and quality of work was high.

Chico says he cares about his customers a lot and he really means it.

I did Kitchen and bathroom remodeling. He took care of all plumbing related works for the entire remodeling process.

He showed up prior to my inspection and prepared everything for me. Because of his support, I was able to pass the city inspection really smoothly.

Plumbing is not a one-time event. As we always use water, we constantly need a good plumber. I'm so glad to know Chico. I look forward to maintaining my house in a good shape with Chico's support in future!

Bottom line: I highly recommend Chico. If you need a plumber with 20+ year experience and great customer care, don't hesitate to call him.

Ah! He was very friendly with my wallet as well. I compared at least four other companies.

Have used Chico at Prestige plumbing a few times and he is a hard working guy and knows plumbing.  Not afraid to crawl under the house to inspect and work. (eeek).  He fixed the laundry drain and snaked the kitchen laundry from the roof.  (clean out is sealed shut and nothing could open it).  I had a leak in the gasket of a toilet (Pacific had just replaced it two years before) and it was leaking a while.  The subfloor and wood were rotted.  Chico gave me two crews who do that work.  The guys I chose were amazing and did a wonderful job at a good price.  I also used Prestige to unclog the shower, Had to resort to the hose and hydro Flush.  Lot of work but it fixed it.  Now I have clog in the bathrooms/ toilet.  Old houses-uggg.  Prestige will be here tomorrow afternoon to resolve that.  I Recommend Chico and Prestige.

We were in the process of remodeling our kitchen and needed a plumber to connect everything (sink, garbage disposal, faucet, dishwasher (Bosch) and our new gas range top to our existing gas line)  Chico came out same day to provide an estimate, followed Covid-19 protocols and made sure that we had all the right equipment for install date.   The quote was very competitive and we chose him to do the installs.
We had a delay with our tile installers, Chico was very flexible in pushing the date by a day.   On the day of the install, Chico and his crew came and completed the job quickly, fixing a substandard job that our developer had done with our plumbing.  
Everything looks great, we are so happy with the results.

I called this guy named Chico who told me that he was available for a certain time between 1-2pm and I told him we needed a toilet installed. I called him after no one showed up during that time and Chico said he was sleeping. What kind of business is this.... The plumber Chico was unreliable and a waste of my time. Will never ask for this company for any help. Total east of time.

Prestige Plumbing. Didn't have a very good experience with Chico and Prestige Plumbing.  Call him yesterday and he said he was very busy but could come by today to install a toilet.  Txted him the address yesterday and asked for a conformation that he was coming.......got nothing.  Txted him again this morning asking for conformation.  Immediately got a call back from him....Can I come now?....sorry, not ready .....lets stick to our 3:30 appt.  No Chico, no call, no txt by 5:15.  Called him, no answer left a message.  Then Chico txted Sorry I won't be able to make it there today  Called him right back and finally was able to talk to him, he said that he could not do it for the next 2 days.  

I can understand if jobs ahead of yours take longer than expected, but it is unacceptable not to be notified if they were not going to show up.

From my experience, have a back up plan if you are going to use him.

Very responsive. My go-to plumber. He has fixed a leaking pipe underneath the ceiling late into the day just when I wanted when others wouldn't have. Humble and friendly. Also fixed a leaking water heater pipe fast.

Chico was able to come out within a few hours of when we contacted him..  He not only dealt with our gas leak situation, he actually was able to move an old stove out from my kitchen and into my yard where it could be easily picked up.

Horrible customer service! We drove two hours to a jobsite to meet Prestige for a job walk and they never showed up. We tried calling to see if they were running late and no one answered. After 45 minutes of waiting we finally left.

Chico and his crew were amazing. Our water heater died. He came out and gave me an estimate last night and he was able to get me on the schedule for this morning. He was on time and he and his crew were efficient and left everything clean and put back to the original. I'm hiring to repipe our home. Her is very thorough and a kind man/

Weird experience - I had a couple of simple projects needed doing, and he seemed totally keen to quote, coming to see the job within 48 hours of my call. I was ready to move forward but every time I asked, he couldn't give me a date/time and just kept stalling. I gave it almost two weeks till I couldn't stand the ghosting and  found another more reliable plumber who took care of it straight away (and at the same cost).

We had a backed up kitchen sink problem.  Called several plumbing companies but I settled on Prestige Plumbing.  Alfredo (Chico) Rangel responded quickly, came and snaked our line and fixed our drainage problem.  Him and his assistant were fast and efficient.  We need additional plumbing work and will definitely call him again.

He did a job for us in Nov which was ok. I think I wrote a yelp reviews for it. He also gave us a quote a for another job and promised to start the job when he has time. He never called back or replied to the text messages. We did refer to him to our friends in the meantime. Today, finally, we got hold of him, because we referred to him to our neighbor. He finished our neighbor's job and came our home, and quoted us almost double the quote for the job which he was supposed to do last year. He is saying everything is expensive, which I understand, but it's not double. He showed very arrogant attitude, unlike when he did our job in Nov. Will not recommend him at all to anyone.

I am a little disappointed about his service. I had a leak in the pipe undet the kitchen sink. Chico came and replaced new pipes. He told me he guarantees his work and can call him anytime. There was still a minor leak, I called Chico numerous times , he never showed up. After paying $2300 for the Jon I want to be completely satisfied.

Very good plumber service. Compelled to shout out Prestige Plumbing if you are looking or need a plumber for future chaos.  Chico, who runs the show, is very personable, friendly, funny, highly customer service oriented.  Very fair with pricing.  The crew, very hard working and respectable professionals.  What struck me is they would randomly fix things that we didn't ask for and did not charge.  For example, just straight up changed our refrigerator water filter hose...the thing is a fire hose now (in a good way)!   We had to re-pipe our house with copper and replace tankless water heater.  Done in a day and now we have amazing water pressure and hot water starts instantly...I feel like a character in Plato's Allegory of the Cave. Also, no more calcium chunks clogging out faucets.  Anyhow, you can't go wrong with Chico.  Give him a shot if you are vetting plumbers.

This review has been due for a long time. Chico has done a lot of work for us over the years. When we first moved in into our home in November 2013, he did several things during the kitchen remodel. He installed gas pipes for the kitchen stove and to convert the wood burning fireplace to a gas fireplace. He also did the plumbing for the new kitchen sink and installed the dishwasher and garbage disposer. Chico also did work to bring up the water heater installation to code by installing a sediment trap in the gas pipe, a pan under the water heater and overflow pipes venting outside the garage. He also replaced a water tap used for the backyard garden with one containing a non-return valve. All work was done with permits and passed inspection. Chico made sure that the pressure test for the gas piping (especially important for safety) would pass. Chico took me into the crawlspace and showed me that the waste water pipes did not have the correct grade. He proposed to fix it. He strapped the waste water pipes under the house and corrected the grade. I trust his recommendations because he is very professional and shows what needs to be done and why. At the time we moved into the home, the water heater was old but it still worked fine for several years. When it needed to be replaced in May 2018, we called Chico. He did an excellent job with that as well. A couple of weeks ago the garbage disposer stopped working and needed to be replaced. Chico has done this for us as well. Chico is honest and professional in his work. He takes pride in his work. The fees he charges are reasonable. Having used his services for plumbing issues for eight years, I will definitely call Chico for any plumbing problems in future as well. I recommend Chico and Prestige Plumbing without hesitation

Alfredo's service was great.  He arrived on time and got the problem fixed very quickly.  He also provided some very helpful maintenance tips.  He has out highest recommendation.

My first experience with Prestige Plumbing was excellent. I had problem with leaking angle knobs. Chico response was great. Picked phone first time and informed me the approximate time of arrival based on the other job he was working on. Really appreciate Chico prioritizing his tasks and getting back to me sooner than planned.

Chico came wearing mask which is essential for Covid. He was very respectful of my home and took his shoes outside before entering.

Saw my issue and quickly gave me a reasonable quote. Chico finished the job in 30 min replacing 2 angle knobs. In fact he made the whole appearance look very clean and modern since my old fixtures were very old. And Chico explained in details what he did and why it should be done like that. It was good.
Chico was very kind to replace my faucet also without any additional charge. It was a very nice gesture.

This is not a review of their work, and frankly I will never use them after seeing their conduct on the road. I saw both the truck and the van (from their pictures) driving recklessly on 280S going 90mph, cutting people off, from Sunnyvale area all the way down to downtown San Jose Area. Just like their pictures, both the van and truck were carrying long metal pipes and ladders. Judging by the description, the owner of this business was likely driving one of those vehicles. Very unprofessional and reckless.

Chico did stellar work for us 5 years ago replacing our sewer line and fixing the plumbing to our outdoor shower and so we called him again, 5 years later, to replace garbage disposal that had a cracked pipe.  Again, he did a fantastic job!  He squeezed our job in after hours (it was a very small job) and he was in and out in one hour. He never disappoints....he shows up on time, is a happy guy and does great work at a very affordable price and leaves the area as clean as when he arrived. He is my go to guy for all my plumbing needs, big or small. I highly recommend Chico and will call on him again when I need him.

Chico was really great.  I needed a new gas line run to my stove.  He agreed to meet me quickly for a quote, and even came on the weekend.  The price was very reasonable, and he and his crew were courteous and careful and completed the job the next day!  He identified a few issues for me to deal with in the future.  Cannot recommend any more highly.

I called this local business up and they sent a professional plumber who provided an accurate bid to extend a gas line to a new grill and fire pit. All the work was completed in a professional manner. Very fair pricing from a licenced professional. I would highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

My water heater was leaking on a Friday night and I had to find a plumber to come and put in a new one.  The quote I got from Home Depot was outrageous and so I got on Yelp and requested a few plumbers for quotes.  Chico was the first to respond.  Not only was he able to give a competitive quote over the phone, but he came by the next morning to check out my old water heater and confirmed the quote that he gave.  His team was able to come the following Monday and get the new water heater installed.  All work was done to meet city code and his team embraced all the COVID safety guidelines.  Overall, I was very happy with the work his team has done and would hire them again for my future plumbing needs.

Professional, quick response for quote, very fair pricing. Chico is very customer service oriented, prompt and educates the customer on what caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. He replaced my water heater quickly and upgraded the size at for future higher hot water needs. Chico(Alfredo Rangel) the owner of Prestige Plumbing is the best!  He is very professional and reliable.   I have never had to push him or ask him to finish something he started.  He is usually pushing me along which is great.   He has done many jobs for us at both our house and at my Dad's properties.   He has plumbed our new master bathroom, replaced old galvanized with new copper water pipes as well as taken out old cast iron drain lines and put in ABS.   He replaced a couple of main sewer lines, installed clean outs and replaced a gas line for us.    His quotes are very competitive and a fraction of what the big corporate plumbing companies will quote you for the same job.   He comes in and gets in done fast 1-2 days usually depending on the work.  I think he is the best and you won't regret calling Chico.

Chico, the owner of Prestige Plumbing is PHENOMENOL! I initially hired him to do some work in my house. He had to re-pipe everything because we had old pipes. Chico and his crew came in and completed the job in 1 day!! No issues!! I ended up calling him again to replace the sewer line and also to install our dishwasher. He is truly a good man. He has fare prices and he is extremely efficient. The best part is, he is friendly. He keeps a smile plastered to his face, through ups and downs. He tries to keep all his clients happy. I have seen him reply to his customers whenever he had a minute to himself while doing my job. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHICO!! He is reliable and does a great job!

Called to fix sewer leak issue. Gave me appointment, did not show up no response to calls / texts. Then called back a day later, again gave appointment and did not show up. Seems very unprofessional to give appointment and not show up multiple times (worse no intimation or no response to calls at given time).

In the evening, we noticed water gushing out from the ground near our front door, and determined that the water main to our house had sprung a leak.  Based on recommendations from a neighbor, we call Prestige Plumbing.  Communications via text, including photos, was fast and efficient.  Prestige Plumbing arrived on time at 7:30AM the next morning, and had the issue fixed and our water back on by 10AM.  The leak was in the flower bed next to our house.  I expected the plants to not fair so well, but the plumbers were conscientious and no plants were damaged!  The price was also quite reasonable.  Our experience with Prestige Plumbing was excellent.

We just moved into the area and needed to get some items urgently updated to be able to have a functioning household.  We always work off of word of mouth and have had some great luck finding some real quality, hard working businesses be recommended to us.  

Chico and Juan came out to our house on Thursday and gave us an estimate, which was below the estimate of the first plumber who came out.  We needed to put in new faucets in 2 bathrooms, a new toilet, new kitchen faucet to fix an old leaky faucet, add a gas line under the house to be able to put a gas stove, and also to add a gas line in garage for a gas dryer.  We agreed on the estimate and setup the appointment for this morning.  We purchased the parts and they supplied the material for the gas lines.  We felt that they were honest and told us what we should get done in the immediate future and what we can wait on.  We are already planning on having them come out to do some future work to change out old pipes and brace them.  They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them.

A few weeks ago we had Chico and his crew from Prestige Plumbing do an extensive plumbing job at our home. Our original (1960) cast iron waste pipes needed replacing as well as the water pipes. A couple of our friends recommended Chico and Prestige Plumbing. They had used Chico on several plumbing projects and were very complimentary about his work. Chico came punctually and gave us a bid and we were ready to hire him on the spot.  He said that we should get other bids too, so that we would be able to compare. Well we got 2 more bids as he suggested but we went with Chico because of his previous work for friends, his honesty and his price. We were schedule for the following week. Chico and crew arrived on time and were great about completing the work in the 2 days that he said it would take. Chico did a video of the work under the house for me also. He made sure that all was clean when he finished. He even cleaned out the old pipes that were left under the house from years ago. Chico is friendly, outgoing, honest, and very hard working. Very unprofessional.  Set an appt with him and he never showed up.  When trying to follow up with him he just hung up the phone.

Our house was built in 1964.  Over the last 5 to 10 years, I have been fighting slow drains with snaking and chemicals.  I called out Alfredo Rangel Chico of AR Plumbing.  Chico snaked my bathroom sink and said it was really plugged.  He crawled under the house and said there were signs of leakage in our cast iron pipes and suggested replacing the kitchen and bathroom sink pipes with ABS.  When he brought out the cast iron pipes, I was shocked to see them completely plugged along the whole lengths.  All snaking did was open up a small hole which allowed water to flow for a while until it closed up again.  In looking at these pipes, Chico suggested that all the drains and sewer pipes be replaced.  He came out a few days later and replaced all the pipes under the house, including taking the toilets off to replace their pipes.  Most of these were similarly plugged up.  I was very impressed with Chico, his professionalism, know-how, and thoroughness.  After it was all over, he cleaned the whole areas in the house very well.  He worked fast, efficiently and the charges were reasonable.  
I will definitely use him again and recommend him very highly.

We had a water heater go out and our regular plumber kept stalling and finally could not make it.  We were blessed to find Prestige Plumbing, and Chico.  He showed up early for the appointment, assessed the situation, gave us an estimate, and got to work.  It was very obvious he knew what he was doing, his work was excellent, and was able to resolve a number of problems by working over time.  He is honest, extremely nice, a hard worker, and his prices were extremely reasonable.  He refused to take any extra money for working over time and doing additional work.  He will be our plumber for life.  I highly recommend Chico and Prestige Plumbing, you will not regret it!

Chico IS the man!

I've known him for at least 7 years when our landlady had him update the water lines to copper. He was quick and everything worked perfectly. Then our water heater stopped heating water, and AR Plumbing came to the rescue. Then over the weekend our kitchen sink backed up and Chico was here first thing this Monday morning and replaced all the old rusty/crusty sink pipes with new abs piping in less than an hour.

I highly recommend him and his crew.

We have been long-time fans of Chico and his work.  He has completely repiped our home, done routine maintenance, and has been extremely responsive and fair with all work done for my elderly mother at her residence and rental properties (some jobs were crisis situations which
required quick response).  Tenants also have had nice things to say about Chico and feel comfortable having him in their homes.  We have both recommended Chico to many of our friends who also appreciate his reasonable prices and friendly honest manner.  We have been pleased to see Chico and AR Plumbing grow and be successful!  It is nice to see an independent businessman who takes pride in his work and values providing services at fair prices!

After years of having problems, we finally decided to replace the outgoing pipe from the kitchen to the sewage. We hired Chico for the job, and we are happy with the work that he did -- it was very well organized and everything was cleaned up afterwards. We would definitely hire him again for any future work, and recommend him to others!

Amazingly Prompt, efficient and professional We found Chico on Craigslist he came out gave us a fair price, said it would be done in one day and He was true to his word, oh! by the way we had our entire home re-piped built in 1962 the pipes were completely corroded as we thought. He was very professional and confident we will be recommending him and the crew to whomever needs an experienced plumber. I stayed out of the house from 7:00am until 4:00pm came home to a finished job he went above and beyond.

I called Chico on father's day and he was understandably busy with his family. But we set a time for Tuesday at 6 pm. Tuesday at 5 pm I texted to confirm. he confirmed. He didn't show. I texted and called multiple times. First he was stuck in traffic. Then his van broke down. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He apologized profusely and promised he would not miss the rescheduled appointment. We set time for Thursday at 6 pm. No show. No response to phone calls or texts.

Save yourself some time. Keep looking.

I have had a sewage problem for a time. I had called for a few estimates and thought I was going to have to have the work done in pieces or come up with a minimum of $7,000.00 dollars.  I called Chico's and got a great estimate and had the sewage replaced, quickly and efficiently.  Chico explained and showed me what he was doing the whole way.  I would not hesitate to refer Chico to anyone in need of a plumber.  He is personable and a man of integrity.
