ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Brad & Lallenia Birge started Big Birge Plumbing in 2012 after they realized that working for someone else's company is not what they envisioned for their lives.
Brad has had over 18 years of plumbing experience but has been a workingman since the age of age 14. He has accomplished getting his Masters Plumbing License and now owning a plumbing company with his wife.
Lallenia started out as a personal trainer in Omaha NE when she realized that she had hidden marketing talents she could put to work with her husbands work ethic and drive. Together they make a power team and work hard everyday to build Big Birge Plumbing as one of the best plumbing companies to work for and one a customer or contractor can call on and trust.

Our second time using this plumber and he fixed our leaking tub. Great customer service and great company! I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants the job done right, for a great price, by someone who really prides themselves on great service.

Simply the best in Omaha. Had a pesky leak at our home and they were out in no time with a simple fix. Could have gone with a much more expensive fix since I'm not an expert, but they said this repair would do the job. Also had a plumbing emergency at our office and they were out the very next day to assess and to come up with the right solution.
Great company, would recommend to anyone needing plumbing work done. All the employees from owner to installation crew were great. Everyone was personable and friendly. The guys that came to our house were joking with the kids and very professional. The guys did their work with very little disruption to our normal schedule. They made sure their working area was clean and looking the same, if not better, then when they entered. Great company, great employees!
Big Birge put in a new water line for us and did an amazing job with this extensive project. In fact, the already involved job got even lengthier due to a severe weather day and a surprise buried set of concrete stairs that the team discovered in our yard and that was directly in their path! Despite the obstacles Brad and his team faced, they were professional and prompt throughout, plus they held true to the contracted price, despite the setbacks, which we so appreciated. From customer service to craftsmanship, we were 100% impressed with Big Birge and highly recommend them!
A few years ago, Big Birge Plumbing came out to install two comfort height toilets with elongated seats. Oh my goodness!!!! They did a fabulous job and now I am not dealing with clogged toilets (or any toilet issues for that matter) and these new toilets they put in for us are soooo much better than the ones we had before! I love this company! Great work ethics, honest, punctual, good communication, fair prices, exceptional customer service!!! We're definitely a life long customer!
We will always go with Big Birge whenever we need a plumbing fix! They did a great job installing a shower in our basement but what really sealed the deal was when they came out on a weekend to do a job that we were quoted for $2,300 from another company - BB was able to do it for $990! Lesson learned - we'll save ourselves the service call fee from other companies and just go with Big Birge from the start.
Great customer service. Tim was incredibly friendly, patient, and allowed me to watch and ask questions so I could learn a little something. Great experience over the phone setting up the appointment as well as any follow up calls. Thank you!

I can not recommend these guys enough. I called and spoke to Brad on the phone to get a quote for replacing a washer hookup and moving a water line for my new fridge. He got out there within a day or two to actually get us the quote, then scheduled one of his guys to actually perform the work just a few days after that.
Carlos (the guy that did the work) was awesome. He offered to wear booties on his shoes even though our house is completely demolished for a remodel right now. He got the work done quickly, it looks great, and he didn't leave a mess when he was done. Best of all, it ended up costing less than what we thought it was going to cost.
Seriously, stop wasting time with Burton or whoever else - call Big Birge. They're fantastic.

This was the first time I've ever needed to call a plumber myself (yay for new homeowner responsibilities!) and James from Big Birge Plumbing was great! He called when he was on his way, giving me enough time to get home from the office, and once he arrived, he explained all the steps needed and walked through the cost of everything so nothing was a surprise. I'm glad that after just one call to a plumber, I have a company I can trust!

They did work for me about a year ago. They were friendly and competent. I would have given them a 5-Star rating here, too.
But I have an issue with them: the disposer they installed is extremely sub-standard. It was only fair to begin with but has become much worse over time. This morning it took more than five minutes to grind six lemons. It gets duller by the day, it seems. I'd call that sub-standard, and I'm sure I paid top dollar for it, too.
I have confidence in their work. The writing we are bringing the value back on the truck was intriguing when i saw them at my tightwad neighbors house. Unfortunately it was misleading. I had a minor leak in an upstairs bathroom sink. It was an easy fix but I didn't have the tools to do it. Would've cost less than $20 to fix it myself. But instead I called Big Birge on a Monday morning. The owner Brad was very nice on the phone, he had two of his guys come out around noon that day, which was awesome. They were pros, they fixed the problem in 20 minutes tops, also awesome. Unfortunately it cost me $157! The rate is $135/hr for a technician with helper, and you always pay for at least one hour. I would trust these guys with bigger jobs (perhaps that is the kind of business they are targeting) but for your every day ordinary handyman fixes you're going to pay way too much!

This plumbing company is the worst company I've ever done business with. They never completed the job and did not refund me the money I paid them. The plumber they sent out was a real jerk.
I wouldn't even give them 1 star.
