Things have to be pretty bad for me to complain. But Morrison has been unable to fix my system after five visits. And that's the least of the problem...

We've been gaslighted and mansplained by three different technicians. Explanations for the problem changed from visit to visit. They replaced a part the other technician had already replaced, and blamed him for the problem. Since the new part didn't fix the problem, I suspect we paid for something we didn't need. Their techs even called the manufacturer's tech support multiple times for help. They don't seem to understand the systems that they install and claim to maintain.

I could've lived with all that, had they been moving toward a solution. But the guy today...wow. When I attempted *one time* to interrupt his conflicting and ever-changing hogwash, he got visibly and audibly upset. Right in my own home. He seemed irate that someone would question him, raising his voice as he talked. When I let him finish (I had no choice), I asked if he was done. I didn't realize those were his trigger words. There was silence. The guy made prolonged eye contact with me. That was unusual during our brief interaction. He seemed to prefer to stare down (and mansplain) to my wife. But his eye contact was nothing but malevolent. Like staring at an animal that's deciding whether or not to attack. In retrospect, in that moment, I should've been scared for myself and my wife. It was chilling. The dude was huge and at least six and half feet tall. He finally shouted, yeah, I'm done, wedged his way to the door, and slammed it. That was it. Less than a five minute visit, during which the Morrison tech made up his own physics, offered no solution, yelled, menaced, and slammed the door on the way out.

To sum up: If you wanna feel violated in your own home, Morrison's is your go-to choice. It's no exaggeration to say I've never had anything like this happen. Frankly, I'm concerned the guy is going to come back and destroy my house or hurt my family. I wish I had video taped it. It's that unbelievable. Something is very, very wrong here. Incompetence is one thing. Violating your sense of security is quite another.

I contacted the company. This was red-flag behavior. They need to do something before their tech hurts someone. But who knows. Maybe they are afraid of him.

Keep in mind: inviting a service tech in your home requires a significant level of trust. It's not like a normal business transaction in public. It's in the sanctity of your home. There's nobody watching should they snap. Be careful who you deal with. We will never trust Morrison's again.

was able to come the same day & fix something another plumber had ruined. the price wasn't bad for the work either. we would definitely recommend them, very friendly too!

*update they also sent us a $25 gift card for using their company towards any future part or service, this company is top notch & superb!

I am giving them a 2 out of 5 stars because Courtney and the tech Ryan they sent were amazingly nice.  However to replace 2 cut offs on a bathroom sink, they wanted $357.00.  Thats outrageous. They wanted $397.00 for the cut offs and the faucet replacement and I have my own faucets.  Are you kidding me?????  This is the 2nd encounter with them.  The first time, they wanted $8000.00 to get a gatorade bottle out of my drain, when another company came in and get it out for $149.  Unless you want to take out a loan, go somewhere else.

We contacted Morrison for a low water volume issue in the kitchen.   They were professional, systematically eliminated possible causes and fixed the issue very quickly and efficiently.   As far as knowing when the technician would arrive there was no question about when they would be here.   Morrison sent a text as a reminder and they called to let us know the technician was on the way.   They were on time, professional, reasonable and a joy to work with.   We will definitely be using them for all future plumbing needs! I live in outside of Illinois and have to find service people to handle things for my mom that does live in the service area.   I would have no problems calling and having them come out to do work for her even if I wasn't able to be there when the work was being performed.  They are that good and she was comfortable with the technicians and the whole experience.   I can't recommend them enough!   You need plumbing work call Morrison you won't be sorry

After having a joke of a company here yesterday, i called Morrison. They came same day. They fixed the issue and did so while keeping everything clean. From shoe boots to plastic for the floor, even having their own buckets go figure. Never use action mechanical they are bbb nightmare. call Morrison and ask for Jon Dale. He was very professional and effective .

Jim Jr came out the same day I called and completed a comprehensive system check of the AC unit to get it back up and running.  He was honest, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and helpful.  My AC unit couldn't be salvaged but at over 20 years old that is to be expected.  The new unit was installed today and again everyone was professional and kept me informed on the progress.  I've spent what I consider to be substantial money on three projects in my home in the last 6 months.  First time I feel like I wasn't taken advantage of and am confident that what I paid was not inflated.  I've found a new company that if they provide a service and I'm in need of assistance?  They will be the company I call!  Their service is beyond reproach and I highly recommend them for your plumbing/HVAC needs.

They told me I was on the emergency call list for appointment and once someone was freed up they would be sent out.  That really just means whenever.  

My impression was that day.  When I called a second time and asked if they were coming it was like a shock.   No customers care.

This company installed our boiler a year ago. They scraped up the floors and put a hole in the wall, though they did come out and fix those issues once we pointed them out.
The first time the city came out to inspect their work it didn't pass, so they came back out and it did pass the second time. However, the first winter we used it, it wasn't putting out heat and began shaking the house and making loud noises.
Morrison came out two days in a row to try and diagnose it. On the second day they gave us an estimate for additional work. We had a second boiler company come out, and they found that the boiler system was:
1.)not screwed in properly
2.) leaking
3.) not venting properly
This second company took care of all of these issues for half of the price that Morrison quoted us. We won't be using Morrison again due to their apparent incompetence with boilers and the fact that they don't even seem to honor their warranty.

They're the most honest & knowledgeable company we've worked with when it comes to any heating & plumbing issues we've had. Our house is almost 100 years old, so it's always surprising us w/something... Luckily we found Morrison, because they've been real heroes when we've had gas leaks, pipe leaks, water heater failures, the list goes on & on.  They're so much better than everyone else, we actually got their membership.  At 1st, I wasn't sure it would be worth it; but so far, it's been pretty useful! Very quick response time, too!

Positive - Company very responsive, technicians friendly and performed repair quickly. Seem fairly priced.

Negative - Refused to speak with my home owners warranty company and answer a series of questions so that I could be reimbursed directly for the cost of repair. Morrison said it wasn't their policy to work with home owner warranty companies. I understand that. I wasn't asking Morrison to do the work then have the warranty company pay them. I knew I had to pay myself and then I get reimbursed. All I needed for Morrison to do was talk with the home warranty company and describe their repair. Needless to say....won't be calling Morrison again. Luckily I'm out only 353 dollars that I won't be reimbursed. Could have been worse.

We would like to thank Damon, Zach & Austin for a job well done. Our plumbing needed to be replaced so while having this work done we also added a Saniflo toilet system along with a vanity and sink. It was a long day for these 3 young men, but they completed the job in one day. We are extremely pleased with the work completed and will use them in the future for additional needs. Highly recommend!!!

We live in Florida and have a rental property in O'Fallon, IL.  The current tenants aren't handy at all, so we end up having to call a professional anytime a small problem arises.  In this case, the tub to shower diverter spout failed and was leaking.  Tenant notified me Dec 19 and would be out of town Dec 20-23.
Morrison's customer service is good.  On Dec 19 Morrison coordinated a Dec 24 morning appointment with the tenant.  The plumber arrived on time and quickly and easily replaced the tub to shower diverter spout.  I presume the repair was completed competently (or I would have heard otherwise from the tenant).  So, I am crediting Morrison for polite, fast, competent service.
I am unhappy about the price of $315, which seems exorbitant given the cost of the part ($50?) and that the work took only 15 minutes.  (Internet research indicates a professional repair should have been around $170.)  I did not receive a detailed invoice, so I don't know if I was charged more since, due to the tenant's schedule, the repair had to take place the morning of Christmas Eve (I was not notified of any special charge).
In addition, the plumber also proceeded to complete the repair without my authorization, so I had no opportunity to object to the price.  To be fair, given that we are in the helpless position of being 900 miles away, we probably would have approved the exorbitant repair because it would have been a hassle to schedule another plumber and the tenants were upset about not being able to use the shower.

Called Morrison with an emergency for one of my rentals houses. They were out in less than an hour with it completely fixed. Awesome experience! They are my go to plumber now!

We were having an issue with vibrating pipes and scheduled an estimate with Morrison. They showed up on time and were very friendly. They reviewed the issue with us and went over the most likely problems. After some tests they determined we had extremely high water pressure. They were able repair the issue that day, plus replace a leaky faucet we had outside. They were quick and very reasonably priced. We will definitely use them again and if they happen to be reading this - your guy accidentally left a hose here attached to our water heater and he can come by and pick it up whenever he needs!

The receptionist who scheduled the appointment was timely and professional. She told me that the diagnostic fee was $69 and the technicians travel in fully equipped vans with most parts and have the ability to repair the same day. Perfect. My air conditioner was making a high pitched squeal when it kicked on. Similar to the sound of a belt on a car when it goes bad. It is an older machine but I've never had to call for service prior and it was blowing cold air, just making an awful noise while doing so.

James came to look at the machine and he was kind and professional as well. I have no qualms with their customer service. My problem is with the hidden sales tactics. I work in finance, I know how sales tactics work and I know how financing works. James noticed my dirty air ducts, the house is 100 years old and I'm sure the ducts probably have 40 years worth of dust in them. I also have pets, children and 100 years of dirt in my historic home. It's on the list, the never ending list of an older home. He had a suggestion for a $876 electric air filter, complete with a video to watch. This would keep me from replacing air filters for 3 years. I was too nervous to ask what happens after the 3 year guarantee. How much would the replacement be? Another $900? Pass. They offer a great financing option that doesn't run my credit. Woah! Impressive. After a bit he finally told me it would hit my credit after approval. There we go, that makes more sense than a credit less financing. With probably the interest charge to match. He tinkered around some more and didn't really diagnose anything. But that certainly didn't stop him from suggesting the 3 solutions: immediate, more efficient, and you guessed it, replacement. The immediate solution was $2,700, the middle one was over $5,000. I figured I didn't want to know what the replacement cost was with this company. I still don't know what was causing the noise. It stopped after he did a tune up. I suspect it just needed cleaning. However, I will be shopping around for a more trustworthy company. Look, I get commission. It's tough to make sales goals, but sometimes you win some and sometimes you lose some. These quotes were purely for parts to make my machine more efficient, not an actual repair for my initial problem.

Also, he was about to schedule a second appointment to have someone come out and fix the machine, because after all, he just does diagnostics. Which is not what I was told. But after dodging sales pitches for about an hour I was drained. I pretty much said the machine gets fixed today or I have to look elsewhere. Coincidentally, his evening became free and he was able to actually do something. Even though I'm still confused on what he did. I was fairly certain he was about to bring in the final sales guy and I would have ended up with a brand new HVAC unit and ducts.

I gave a star for initial customer service and a star because at the end of the day, the machine is quietly running and blowing cold air. I already found a different company to work with in the future.

Best company around. All the technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. The office staff is great and their prices are very reasonable for the service that they provide. Highly recommend Morrison Plumbing to everyone!

If you live in Illinois, you need to call Morrison for your plumbing and HVAC needs. They offer friendly and professional service. Morrison is also affordable! That was a big selling point for me.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and had tried to fix it myself. Well, that did not work out so I called Morrison. I am so glad that I did. They were prompt and efficient! The technician did a great job and fixed my problem. He also gave me sound advice to prevent the issue from happening again.

I will always call Morrison Plumbing from now on when I have plumbing and HVAC issues.

They did a great job at a fair price when we replaced our A/C unit. Highly recommend and will be using them again for some other jobs in the near future as we get out house ready for sale.

Rude and sexist. They charged me almost $700 dollars, telling me if I chose that option it would fix not only problem A but problem B as well. A month and a half later, they had to come back because the same problem occurred. After the inspection, they wanted to charge me $150 just to add coolant into the AC unit. Even after they had initially said if I paid the $700 the first time it would fix all of the problems. I called and complained and when I said it felt like this was happening because I was a female, Rich ( the man I talked to) laughed and said no i don't feel that way. I do NOT RECOMMEND

After another plumbing service came out and could not clear the stoppage I was skeptical. The tech that cane out was positive,friendly, professional and never doubted that he would not be able to clear the stoppage.  We were beyond pleased.  Highly recommend!!!
4/12/18. We had another plumbing issue today.  I called at 7:45 a.m at 8:45 a tech was at my house and fixed the problem. They are through, Professional and most of all reasonably priced.  I received a text with not only the techs phone number but also his picture so I knew exactly who I was dealing with. I can't speak highly enough of Stephen, the young man who took care of our issue!

Morrison plumbing was amazing! I called them for an issue with my water heater on a Friday late in the day and they came out Saturday morning and fixed the issue for me and while they were there I had them fix a few other things as well Jim from Morrison plumbing was excellent extremely fast and friendly and knowledgeable upfront quote and price on all the repairs no pushy sales qimmicks either just an honest quote for the repairs
I would highly recommend them and they will be my go to for any heating cooling or plumbing needs

The service professionals that came to my house were top notch awesome folks.  But in the end they couldn't fix the issue and I was refunded the charges minus a diagnostic fee.  My issue with this is that I was told the diagnostic fee was only added if we decided not to have the work done which makes perfect sense but we chose to have the work done.  Its not my fault they couldn't fix the issue so why am I being charged the diagnostic fee.  At any rate this company does have great people working for them, the prices are pretty good and they respond quickly, its just my experience wasn't the best.

My dealings with Morrison were wonderful.  I was trying to help out my elderly father in law.  He can be a bit of a handful.  I called Morrison and they were so friendly.  They got us in quick.  I love how they send you emails and text messages keeping you informed every step of the way!!!  They even send you a picture and bio for the tech coming so you know who to look for and feel more comfortable.   When they got done, my grumpy father in law thanked me for calling them!!!!  They went above and beyond in so many ways!!  They are our no. 1 go to from now on.

They are experienced and they know what they are doing but they will try and replace before they fix. I would get a second opinion on anything they quote you.  Crazy expensive.  Your paying for the nice vehicles and company shop!  I was charged for work they didnt complete. Dont get scammed. If you do use them you better scrutinize the work and question their recommendations.  I would look at another smaller company before I call them. They will also sticker everything in the house. They will walk through the house and try to push addition work! Dual hatted repairmen and salesmen. Never use them again.

I don't give five stars often, but Morrison Plumbing is what customer service is about.  I am new to Belleville area, 2-3 days in my new home and I have water that I figured out is condensation leaking from the A/C that is in my crawl space attic.

I have a home warranty (won't mention who), and they referred me to 4 different companies none of which would come out on Memorial Day to make the repair.  As the wet area grew down the hall and into master bedrooms I decided to do what I always do, go to Yelp.

I left a message, and actually received a return call in less than an hour.  Two hours later Mark cracked pipe fixed leak fixed.  Fair price for immediate service on a holiday.  This is my plumber now. Suggest you give them a try.  When your overwhelmed you will be in good hands.

Thank you Morrison Plumbing for coming to the rescue to my mom's house on a Saturday.  Her clothes washer backed up due to a clog in her outdoor Sewer line caused by tree roots.  I called A few Plumbers and the only one who returned my call was Morrison.  Very nice and professional they sent out someone in less than 2 hours.   Our plumber was Cory and he was great. Very nice and got the sewer line unclogged in about 30 minutes.  No emergency call charge. Very reasonable.  Would definitely recommend.  Thank you Cory and Morrison Plumbing!!!

It all started with my water heater going out and turned into a gas leak and needing a new furnace and ac. I had contacted three companies to qhat pricing and Morrison got the bid. A lot of had to do with the people and getting the services done right away. I had Zach, Rob, Stephen, Ray and Ben (plus Ray and Ben's co-workers, sorry i do not remember your names and you are not on my list).

I felt comfortable with everything they went through with us with what was wrong and what needed to be done. I never once felt pressured or felt like I was getting pushed over (if you know what I mean).

I highly recommend this company for any needs regarding plumbing, heating and air. I look forward to working with then in the future...hopefully for regular maintenance and not for anything major (that was enough for one weekend :) ).

Morrison is hit or miss with their services. The most recent experiences , I've decided to give them no more chances. A new furnace and A/C unit installed a year ago left my home with no A/C last summer, due to improper installation. This weekend the furnace doesn't work. The technician who assessed the situation was disconcerting. Apparently, technicians do not carry emergency parts to make repairs. I was told the warehouse opens on Monday. Well thank you John, it's nice to know the hours of operation for your warehouse, still not knowing when my NEW furnace will be running again and having a baby in the house. I can now see the reliability, concern for clients and accountability for non functioning products is definitely not a Morrison Heating and Cooling priority!  Jim Morrison should be ashamed of himself. Incompetent crooks..
