When Paul and Leo Lugge opened the doors in 1959 they had only four employees and a vision for their company, then called Belleville-O'Fallon Cooling and Heating. Great service! Fast response and very helpful technician!
We had no idea how to use our whole house humidifier. It's our first time in the Midwest and he went above and beyond to show us the vents in our crawl space, tips to even out the temperature in a two story home and how to maintain the proper humidity level for our family. He really was very helpful.

Friendly, professional and more then qualified to completed the task at hand.  Provided a responsible quote for 3 exterior faucets.  Replaced the shut off valve under the kitchen sink to the dishwasher.  Thank you again for helping us get things back to normal.  Very much appreciate.

Having an air conditioner break is never fun: it's a substantial unexpected expense and usually comes at a time where the need for cooling and humidity reduction is the greatest. Also, it's a substantial expense!

That said, what should a person expect? If a repair job by a handyman is selected, then one gets what one pays for. If a person opts in favor of an established company selling quality products, the expectation it that a job should be done professionally and in a reasonable time-frame, and that the customer should feel good about both the hardware quality and workmanship. Describing the expectation is important because BELOMAN exceeded it in almost every regard.

1) They use Carrier systems, which was the brand of condenser I replaced. Not only are the new units much nicer (despite not being top-of-the-line or anything fancy), but the coil inside my house is MUCH nicer. The original home manufacturer used a generic coil on the inside, which is the only kind I'd ever seen, so the complete Carrier system was nicer than my expectations.

2) When they arrived to do the install, there were two complications: that the unit wouldn't fit on the house-bracket (so it needed the ground plate) and that the nice inside coil was a bit wider and needed custom transitions to fit properly. No problem for BELOMAN! They had the common base on-hand, and metal workers took measurements, coming back from their shop with perfectly sized adapters to complete the professional installation.

3) My home has two furnaces, so I was quoted two days to complete the installation (two A/Cs onto existing furnaces). Additionally, I was informed that the personnel could not complete the outdoor soldering and electrical work if there were thunderstorms. Knowing that storms were predicted for the second installation day, two extra people arrived in the morning to accelerate the installation! This all-hands-on-deck approach (including someone who I overheard mentioning that he could only help for an hour before he had to be at another appointment) was truly exceptional. I'm sure don't always have capacity to do that, but to know that they will when they can.

4) As my air conditioning was failing, I had researched many methods to try and keep my house cooler. This left me with several questions about how best to use the new system moving forward. They took ample time to answer them and look at various ducts about which I had questions. They did not, at any point, seem rushed or bothered by taking the time to help me. In addition, they provided thoughtful responses that made me appreciate their time and knowledge (and they still finished ahead of schedule)!

5) The person who came to the house also did a great job listening to my needs and designing a solution that would accommodate.

6) On top of all this, they were genuinely nice people. They were mindful of my dog when coming in and out of the house (petting him even), and even asked about the project I was working on in my garage.

Together, all this made me feel that the whole team really was invested in me, my home, and of course my air conditioning. I don't know if there's anything else they could have done to make the experience more enjoyable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a quality job, done right, the first time, by great professionals.

Bel-O came through in our time of need.  Our a/c quit so we called them for help.  We've used them for other heating and air system problems before and have always had good experiences.  This time was no different.  They were swamped with service calls all day so they had to help us after hours.  They sent John, who was excellent.  He was pleasant and professional, and he helped us not just by fixing the problem (thankfully just a blown capacitor and not a whole new unit), but also gave some friendly advice on how to make our home more comfortable by changing how we use our thermostat and manage the return air in the basement.

He could've said the unit was shot and I wouldn't have known any better.  How often do you find kind, quality, HONEST service these days?  I'll keep calling Bel-O for our HVAC service needs, and to replace my a/c unit when it does finally quit.

So I watch Bar Rescue (don't judge me!) and Jon Taffer pushes Yelp, so I thought I'd write reviews for the local service providers I use. and the Beloman was at the top of my list. We used to use someone else, but in 2006 that other company told my poor old mother-in-law that her furnace wasn't repairable and she would need a new $7,000 system. She called us, and we got a 2nd opinion from Bel-O. The tech showed us that a wire was disconnected. He cleaned the system and 8 years later that old system is still working! Since that time, we've always purchased a contract from them on our house and mother-in-law's. Always completely satisfied with them.
We just sold the old house, and the home inspector told the buyer the furnace isn't working. We called Bel-O, and he showed us what was happening...a timing issue. That same old furnace is still going strong. The buyer is happy, and we're happy.

Did a great job with my new Gaslines years ago. Since that they have done other repairs and if they needed to correct anything they sent people back to make it right. For me with my duct to chimney, and repair to toilet after a year. Thank you for following up with me Mark.

We discovered a gas leak in our home and Ameren had to shut it off. It was below freezing outside. We called several companies and chose Beloman because of the way they treated us on the phone and their estimate. Dustin came first thing the next morning (16 degrees!) and quickly fixed the leak. The total price was half of the cost compared to the other estimates and the work performed was outstanding. Rather than replace large parts of our existing piping, he installed a connector which fixed the leak and will make further repairs much easier (if there is a next time). Dustin was friendly at all times, professional and gave us good advice for improving the comfort of our living areas. We highly recommend Beloman.
