Urban Pine re-plumbed our entire 1938 house that we had purchased. Very honest, timely, and reasonably priced. They were prompt on getting there and all the work was great.

I purchased a new hot water heater through Centerpoint Energy back in May. It's been 6 months and everything is great - no issues. Centerpoint Energy used Urban Pine Plumbing as a subcontractor to deliver and install my new water heater. Terell (2nd generation plumber) removed my old water heater and installed the new one in a timely and efficient manor. He was very professional and knowledgeable. If the rest of the employees are anything like Terell, I would highly recommend Urban Pine Plumbing.

As a subcontractor to Centerpoint, we thought should work well for the water heater replacement.  Centerpoint quoted a reasonable price and we had three other plumber quotes as well.  Day of installation, Urban Pine says another $985 to complete pipe changes.  There were no special changes needed as initially stated by other plumbers and as the final result.  The extra bid amount made them the most expensive option by far.  As others experienced, they have disgusting business practices, hoping customers are ignorant and have no other choice.  We had a great experience with our final plumber choice; fast, easy, as bid, and no pipe issues.

I had a small gas leak in my home.  Urban Pine was really easy to work with, they responded very quickly, and they didn't try to up-sell me on anything.  Best of all, the price was very reasonable.  I'd definitely call them again.

I ordered a new water heater thru Center Point Energy. Urban Pine was the subcontractor hired for the job. The plumber doing the installing was Torell. He was a friendly, respectful young man who was very knowledgeable. He put little booties over his work boots which is appreciated.
He reviewed what the game plan was before starting to make sure we were on the same page. I had another plumbing concern (faulty water shut off valve) that I wanted his opinion on. He was able to complete the job same day, for an extra fee of course, since it wasn't a part of Center Point Energy install. He walked me thru the type of valve he would be installing (lever) vs what I had before (knob) and why it was better. He also showed me how to empty the outside faucet line after I bled it from the outside (to winterize the line).
He also reviewed steps of city inspection and when I should here from city hall.
I had an appointment window of 8-12. He arrived at 9:30 and was done by 11:30.
Products look nice, pipes look shiny. Very happy with their service!

***I second T.S.'s review before( 12/2017).

Can't stress enough to avoid this business at all costs. We needed to hire multiple other contractors to fix what they did. Unprofessional and messy.

Terrell also came to install a water heater contracted thru Center Point. Like other reviewers, he was kind, clean without harming a newly installed foam flooring in our kid's play room, and was finished in 90 minutes. It would have been five stars if we didn't have the gas leak. I left for the day and when my husband returned from work, our house smelled of gas. He had to leave and wait outside for a CenterPoint tech to fix it. It took 90 minutes total, and I had to drive around with my 9 month old waiting until they were done as we were en route home at the time.

Before calling Centerpoint to have a tech come out, my husband called the number on the card and they were closed. It did say for an emergency call Josh. He called Josh, and he didn't answer, and he could not leave a voicemail because his inbox was full. Josh called back ten minutes later when my husband was on the phone with center point. He said to defer to the centerpoint tech and stay out of the house and keep him informed. He called back for an update, the tech had identified the issue and found several leaks. Josh said if they needed to red tag it because it couldn't be fixed, let him know so he could replace it. He was matter of fact and not apologetic. The tech fixed the issues, so there was no reason to follow up. This review is being written because it is unclear if Center Point is going to follow up with Urban Pine (we asked them to and they didn't get a straight answer). It was a really stressful evening. We will also be following up again with centerpoint. We didn't get a clear answer as to what happened and we never received an apology from either company.

Abe did a great job installing our water heater through Centerpoint Energy's HSP plan!  He was punctual, efficient, friendly and had to haul the old and new water heaters through a steep, narrow stairway, which he   did with great expertise.  He left the area neat.  We very pleased to have him do the work.
