I am very happy with this company and with Raman.  He was the third quote I got after being swindled and smooth talked by two big-box drain companies with HUGE quotes.  Raman said, Here's my quote, better than theirs, I'll have it done right away, done and done.  SO efficient and capable and professional.    This is also a big lesson - always get 3 quotes!  Although from now on I am just going straight to DrainPro

It's been several months since using Raman and we have had no further problems.

Also tip - don't forget to check the Yelp deal with DrainPro.

I trust him and DrainPro's hundreds of great reviews.  You don't get so many great reviews by not being great!

Solid plumbing company. Did a great job replacing my line to the street. Costly regardless of who who you go to, but they walked us through every step, twist and turn. I would absolutely seek them out again, but pray I will never have to. Work crew was great!

I own a rental property at Kent, WA, which was managed by a rental management company named GPS renting. Drainpro was one of their plumbing vendors . In October, they were hired to inspect a ceiling leak. They charged $141 and provided an inspection report after almost two weeks and in the report they claimed they opened drywall and could not find any leak. They also recommended another leak detection company to come and detect, which will cost another $800 after we inquired about the price. The truth is that they never opened any drywall. Later I hired another plumber who helped opened the ceiling and easily identified the leak for free. If they have actually opened drywall, they should have been able to find the leak easily, too! My feeling is that they just had some unethical relationship with the leak detection company.

Raman is fantastic, incredibly quick service.  We called and left a message last night, the issue was fixed this morning by 9:00 a.m. in less than a half an hour!  Would not hesitate to contact them again.  Super friendly!  We contacted three plumbers, they were the quickest to respond and the best price!

After my call, they showed up in one hours, and fixed the clog in 30 minutes, I am not sure if they are the cheapest, but by seeing their equipment, I believe it worth every penny.

Our electric water heater was leaking and we wanted to change it out for a new tankless water heater that ran off of gas. Many other quotes received and Drain Pro came out on top. They were licensed & bonded and did great work. I appreciated how up front they were and never pushed on selling anything to us.

I'm so glad to have found a company that doesn't charge $400+ to clear a drain. Punctual, attentive and professional.

I just installed a new AC unit and forgot to check the floor drain... Turns out it was totally clogged from disuse. I called and was given an appointment first thing in the morning. The technician showed up on time and after some work and a couple equipment changes, the problem was solved. Fair price and friendly service.

Full disclosure: I didn't end up working with Drain Pro, but I want to commend them for their excellent customer service.

I noticed my drain was backing up in the basement late Thursday evening, and left a voicemail with Drain Pro. They promptly returned my call and scheduled me for Saturday AM. I ended up using another plumbing service and had completely forgotten about my appointment until they called to tell me they were on their way. The gentleman took my last minute cancellation in stride.

This may sound trivial, but given my previous experience with contractors, how they respond to service requests and cancellations says a lot about a business. He was very understanding and professional. Because of that experience, I would gladly work with them the next time I need to clear out the drain (which will likely happen in the next 6-12 months).

Here is an update on Drain Pro. After the first time we used them that worked out very well, we never saw that same plumber again. The next job was large. An installation of two new toilets. They didn't have all the parts. Had to come back. Tried to keep the extra parts that came with the already expensive Kohler toilets. They never installed them correctly even though we called a couple of times. The owner even had the gall to tell my husband we were eating into his profits. This is after they didn't do the job right the first time or the second. You would think they'd do a decent job since we had more expensive work to be done. It was awful. We switched to Pinky's plumbing for replacing the outdoor drains and what a difference. On time. Professional. Job done right the first time.

We had issues with a slow drain and yesterday eve we found that water started backing up majorly without draining. We hired Drain Pro after reading reviews on Google and Yelp - and had an excellent experience. They were punctual and on time. Raman did a quick diagnosis and told us our options. The estimate we received was great too with no unnecessary 'urgent' replacements suggested to solve the issue at hand. I think we've found an excellent plumber for our plumbing needs. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience with Drain Pro Plumbing, needed my kitchen sink snaked.  They were one of the few companies that gave an up front estimate for their service.   They were also the cheapest up front estimate.  They were able to come out 2 days after I messaged them and fix the sink.  Plumber was professional, on time, and in and out in less than an hour.

Update: I got a call from the owner or manager explaining their crew miss added travel time and dropped an hour off our job. So great customer service fixing our issue that had left a bad taste in our mouths.

So this is crazy. We were in need of a company to clean up some concrete water from our remodel. We hired Drain Pro and they were out the day after I called which was awesome and they even came out earlier then we were told. Awesome. I was told by Ricky that the hourly rate started from the time they left the shop till the time they returned to the shop. Fine understandable. What was shocking to me was the crew was at our house for 1.5 hours and we were charged a total time of 4.5 hours!!!!! Ok so this would be understandable if we were in Seattle but no we were a total of 15 miles at the most from their shop. When I called asking why it was 3 hours of travel I was told their truck can't go over 50 miles per hour. I'm sorry but even going 35 miles or even 10 miles per hour would take maybe an hour each way at the most. (I looked it up on google maps and look how long it would take via taking a bike) yes, they did tell us from shop to shop but I really find it hard to believe it would take 3 hours total from central Tacoma to Puyallup/Milton area. At $175 dollars per hour that's pretty shocking to get handed an invoice for over $700 in just labor and travel ($1000 total including dumping fee which we were aware of).

Our business toilet backed up , and it was a nightmare to have all employees go next store to the local shop to use their bathroom. Called a competitor at 7am which they said could be here within 2hrs. 2 hrs later I  received a call from the plumber saying they cannot make the appointment until later in the evening. That's when we found Drain Pro who showed up within the hour and problem solved within 30 mins!

Our basement toilet flooded over the weekend and when we tried to plunge it foul water came out of the drain from the adjacent shower pan! We had a plugged pipe below the house! Raman agreed to come early Monday morning and immediately understood how to locate and snake the clog / freeing it!  His price was fair, his communication was considerate and best of all he had us up and running in less than an hour with no mess! He is a hero in our house, thank you Raman

I needed to get a plumber due to a leak under my bathroom sink.   There was no direct shut-off for the water to the sink, so I had to turn off the water to my house.  I called multiple plumbing companies and no one could come out for at least a few days.   Not having any water, wasn't really an option.  Drain Pro Plumbing was able to get a tech out the same day!  He was knowledgable, efficient, and repairs were made in less than 30 minutes.   The repair cost was reasonable too.  The next time I need any plumbing repairs I will definitely be calling them!

I would strongly recommend Drain Pro Plumbing! Raman is very knowledgeable and punctual. My underground downspout was clogged, and Raman did high water pressure for cleaning. Unfortunately one of my pipe is too old and properly broken somewhere. It cannot be unclogged unless an entire replacement. Raman then waved the full price for that pipe although he already did a lot of hard work. I really appreciate Raman's expertise, honesty and service! Absolute 5-star!

I called Drain Pro after the plumber I usually use couldn't take my job for 2 weeks. The job was to replace a faucet on the outside of the house.  Raman came out the next day. He gave me two options, replace with the same kind of handle or replace with a handle that is designed to hold up to a hard freeze. Since a hard freeze caused this situation to begin with, I went with that. But, that meant he had to open the wall behind. This was a reasonable option since the inside wall was hard wood plank. He worked quickly and after he was done, you couldn't tell that wall had been touched. The new faucet works great.

As far as price goes, it seemed very reasonable as compared to other small plumbing jobs I've had done.

I appreciated the options, far price and that he worked comfortably with my dogs around. I'd definitely call them again.

Raman helped us out tremendously this past week. I had my husband call them when we first started experiencing plumbing issues in our kitchen. I was shocked when I called my husband just an hour later to find out that Raman had already come out and had fixed the initial issue (clogged sink). A couple days later the pipes began to leak (old house). Thank goodness my husband had already talked to Raman during the last visit about replacing all the old plumbing because on a Saturday night we discovered that the pipes began to leak. Called Raman that evening and he squeezed us into his busy schedule. As a customer all I ask is for a professional is to be knowledgeable, reliable, honest, and courteous. With Drain Pro, you will get all that plus more!

We will definitely use Drain Pro for all future plumbing needs.

Never had to call a drain cleaning service before, so it's hard for me to compare.

Our kitchen sink failed to clear with the standard drain cleaners and a 15' snake, so I called this company. The fellow who came out, Raymond, was professional, showed up in the time slot they said they would and did the job fairly quickly. I like that they said they'd be there between 12pm-1-pm. Why can't other companies (cable!) give a narrow time slot like that?

Raman is awesome! Most excellent service and a very pleasant encounter. We got a clogged bathroom sink over the weekend and he made it over quickly- within 1/2 day of my call for a same day service- and had it fixed in 10 minutes. He gave me great tips on do it yourself fixes to prevent this type of clog in the future. Also reasonably priced, he even offered a discount. I will DEFINITELY call Raman again for my plumbing needs.

We have an older home with temperamental pipes. Every few years, despite our best efforts, the tub clogs and no amount of chemicals, plunging or snaking can get it open. I found Drain Pros on here and they already had good reviews. When I called they were friendly and were able to accommodate my strange work hours and have someone out the same day. He found the clog within a minute (it took the last guy 15) and their rate was more reasonable than the previous company's as well. He even had time to give us a whole home repipe estimate. I would do business with them again.

I love to have my guy when it comes to things that I can't handle myself. I like knowing that I can point this person in the direction of the problem, hand them a credit card, and just KNOW that things are going to be done right for a fair price.

I have a guy for auto body work.
I have a guy for real estate.
I have a guy for finance.
I have my mechanic guy (actually a woman)...

You get the point.

I can now say that I have my plumbing guy.

I recently needed to replace 2 valves behind my washing machine. They were old, and needed to be replaced before a new washer could be installed. I called one of the large, heavily advertised, plumbing companies because I needed it to be done quickly. Big mistake. Those guys ended up installing two valves that leaked, charged 3x what DrainPro later quoted me, and insisted that they charge me again to come out and take a look at what went wrong with their initial installation. After looking on Angie's List and talking to a few friends, I found Raman at DrainPro. Raman came out, fixed the high pressure issue in my place, fixed both valves that were FUBARed by the previous plumber, and gave me an overall quote that was 40% less than what the Big Plumbing Company (TM) wanted to charge me. His wasn't the lowest quote; but I just felt better about going with somebody whom my friends have used personally. I'm so glad I did.

Bottom line: I trust Raman with my plumbing and my checkbook. I whole-heartedly recommend DrainPro if you have plumbing needs.

Also, when he came out to work on my condo, the dude was rocking a Seahawks hat the day after the 2015 Superbowl. It hurt my soul; but he's a true fan.

My story starts with Roto Rooter.  Upon discovery that my sewer clean out was backing up, I called Roto Rooter. He was here less than an hour, could only get 20 feet, handed me a stack of estimates if I want further work done and charged me $569.00 (don't call them).  I began the process of getting bids for a spot repair. Gene Johnson pluming bought my request from A+ Sewer Technologies and scheduled a time.  Once here (remember, I was only looking for estimates), the tech Phil SWORE he could clear the line, was ADAMENT that he could clear the line, 97% sure he could clear the line.  He got as far as Roto Rooter and succeeded in breaking off the bit at the end of the snake...so now that's in the line to, charging me $300.00.  He felt bad, so he came out the next day to mark the line and discovered another potential problem at the clean out five feet from the sidewalk.  He thought maybe I was on septic and called the city....really.  He sent me an open ended bid for 5 foot spot repair $2300.00 escalating if any further issues were found.  I then got two more bids from NW Sewer and Drain Pro Pluming.  I went with Drain Pro Pluming for a 3ft repair and line flush $1800.00.
Turns out the Cotton Wood tree I removed in September (I have only lived here 3 months) five feet from the line had completely destroyed 30 feet of sewer line.  The additional bid for 30 foot replacement was $5700.00.  Now, just from the 3 foot explore, they knew three things...there were roots, there were utilities and there were rocks.   Next day, they rented a backhoe (I was surprised they didn't have one) and started digging.  They got five feet from the sidewalk and encountered roots 9 inches thick which required a chain saw to remove (also rented).  They then hired a truck to suck dirt out on the other side of the utility lines (supposedly $700.00-never did see the invoice).  Hook up completed after two days of tough work( unbeknownst to me, with the exception of the inspection, they were done working).  Now they want more money because it was such a tough job, oh and it was raining one day which made them miserable while they were working.   Raman said no one would have taken this job, I was lucky to have him and it's going to cost me more, I hate North Bend, I'm never coming back here.   I guess escalating costs are not unusual in this trade, but it was a shock to me, so buyers beware. Additional $2880.00 incl. tax with no prior notification until the hook up was completed and they were essentially done with me.  Communication was shockingly poor.  Price escalation was never discussed with me or I would have chosen differently.
Drain Pro has left a 60 yr old Grandmother with no money and a 30X3X5 foot trench to fill in because Drain Pro Plumbing (I'm guessing) does not have a backhoe, and I received no price cut for this, also stuck me with site cleanup (mountain of plastic sheathing, containers of sewage, sheets of plywood and broken apparatus, I wish I could post pictures-you'd be shocked).  Total cost $11,000 (for 3 days work and job not completed), and LOTS of drama. (Yes, $2840.00 over their promise). Just got my shovel and wheelbarrow today, wish me luck!

I love Drain Pro plumbing!  I had a pipe burst in the main line in front of my house between the street and the front of my house.  Had water running into my basement, called Raman after Drain Pro was recommended to me from a friend.  I called 6:30 AM on Saturday, thinking that I was only calling an answering machine, turns out he keeps the phone with him for emergencies.  Called me back around 9 AM Saturday, and was at my house at 10:30 (1/2 hour earlier than he estimated).  Assessed my problem as a burst main line.  He also arranged for the city to come out and replace the main line valve (which was old 1928), and had them turn off my water which happened within a few hours.  Came out on Monday, exactly as he said, called the city beforehand to mark my gas lines, and had my entire main water line replaced that day before I got home from work.  He cleaned up, and I almost couldn't tell that anyone had been there.  I was shocked, as for the past 3 months, I have had another contractor working at my house who never gets anything done on time, and most things wind up FUBAR.  I was so happy!  Water works great now, the lines going into my house look great, and he left my basement cleaner than before he got here.  I was amazed that he was able to do all this work in one day.  I will call him for all my future plumbing needs, and highly recommend him.

Drain Prp just resolved a clogged basement drain for us. Raymond called and arrived within the quoted time. He diagnosed the issue and was able to clear the clog in a timely manner. Raymond was a pleasure to work with, professional and the reason we will call Drain Pro again when we have plumbing needs.

Raman was responsive and was easy to schedule an appointment. After he was here, he was prompt and efficient with getting the work done. Very happy with Raman at Drain  Pro! He came out the same day I called and unplugged my kitchen sink. He was friendly, prompt, skilled, professional and his price was about two thirds what I had paid in the past for similar jobs. He just earned a new regular customer.

Raman was prompt, attentive and I'm very happy with the repair of the tub/shower faucet cartridge. The tub is painted, so they took good care not to scratch it, using padding. His joints are very clean and neatly done! Appreciate the attention to detail.

Raman is awesome! To begin, Raman entered my home wearing shoe covers, which started everything off on the right foot. :-). He was quick to access the problem, a faulty valve behind the shower, and offered two remedies and cost options. Once we decided on a plan of action, he fetched the replacement parts and went to work repairing the leak with efficiency and expertise. He did a fantastic job installing the new shower parts, and it looks great. He is straight forward, trustworthy, very personable, honest, and extremely experienced. I highly recommend Raman Singh with Drain Pro! Thanks again, Raman!

Terrific experience with Raman at Drain Pro.  Found him through porch.com service and couldn't be happier with the whole experience.  Fixed our toilet issue in less than an hour --- very professional (even put booties on his feet) and the price was very reasonable.  Happy to recommend him.

Drain Pro installed a new toilet at my house. I bought my toilet on Amazon and there were 3 different companies listed that had good referrals and estimates for install. I choose Drain Pro due to the high recommendations and they were the lowest price. They were flexible in scheduling the install and showed up on time. There was an issue with the wax ring that was sent with the product and would have caused longer term leaks. The individual from Drain Pro rearranged his schedule so he could go to Home Depot to pick up a different product that would ensure I didn't have future problems. He installed it and everything is working great. He was informative, courteous, and provided excellent service. I will definitely use Drain Pro for any future plumbing needs.
