I called Ziegler Plumbing to replace our toilet on Monday and Dave set an appointment for Thursday. He called me as he had a spot open up on Wednesday and I accepted that.  They called in advance and were on the way.  Arrived on time and  within and hour we had a brand new toilet installed! The old one was hauled away and I did not have to shop or do anything. Upon completion of the work everything was picked up and cleaned!   Dave recommended the Gerber toilet and I do have to say it is quiet and powerful. It is a pleasure to do business locally and to know that Ziegler Plumbing will stand behind the product and the workmanship. For all your plumbing needs I highly recommend Ziegler Plumbing. Requested to fix a leaky outside faucet in June.  I October, when I pulled the hoses off, I found that it was leaking again.  Called to see if they could consider doing the job right as I had already paid.   The staff person on the phone was seriously dis-inclined to consider the possibility.  I'm not going to argue with her.  My time is better spent finding a service source that does the job right.

Wonderful service. Great price. Excellent job! I would definitely recommend this plumber. Have had several and he is by far the best in the area.

Had a clogged drain. Plumber  (Jim?) Used coil to clear obstruction but did not go far enough to reach lateral in street.  Did this twice. Then searched for clean out for 45 min to an hour. No luck. Then ran coil far enough to reach lateral. Problem solved. Must have been my fault for not telling him how to do his job. His charge was nearly $400 to clear the wet wipes out of my drain pipe after nearly 3 hours. My opinion? A GREAT BIG CROOK ! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

RHD installed some new plumbing items at our home. From the customer service rep to the plumber, we enjoyed super friendly and professional service. The bill was fair and reasonable. 5***** from start to finish. We will call again next time we need plumbing work. I recommend this company!

Having used HJ Pertzborn plumbing in the past, I was disappointed that they now refuse to work on my newly plumbed house because they weren't the plumbers who did the work. We fired our previous plumber (that's a different review) and needed help with installing a couple of sinks. I called Pertzborn and they said they would not accept any work at our house in case the previous plumber did something wrong. So, basically, city of Madison inspection means nothing and they don't want to work on your house if they didn't plumb it initially. Good to know. Ironically, HJ Pertzborn himself plumbed our house n the 1930s, they just weren't hired initially for the job by our contractor.

I lived in Madison for 5 years and we still have our house , now rented. Butler Plumbing are the best and the most honest in Madison. And it's a rare treat. Probably the best and most honest plumbers I met since I live in the US, and to be frank, that should include also France where I come from. Rare are those birds. And for review saying the contrary, I have numerous proofs of multiple estimates where they came lower for the same service or equipment, beyond their punctual and clean service. We still use them for our rental property. Great people. If only we could use their services in Chicago!

Do not trust this place. The owner is shady and misrepresented a quote. He doesn't seem to need business as he would not respond to a letter or e-mail or phone call. He sent a female employee out to talk with me because he was apparently too scared to face me after jacking his price up. Not a reputable business person. So many other options. Do not recommend at all!!

Had a constantly running well pump.  Aqua came in and replaced water tank saying bladder was leaking.  Cost was very high ($1300) but I wanted it fixed.  Unfortunately, original problem quickly came back.  I believe replacing tank was likely unnecessary and very expensive.  They did a professional job, all looks great but I'm convinced assessment of problem was not accurate.

We had Pipe Dreams do two projects for us. They were on-time and finished early. The guys also helped us avoid a problem with my next project.  Great work, Great service.

Day 1: Arrived promptly as promised a few hours after being called. Attempted to clear sewer line and got 60' of 5/8' cable stuck in my drain. Claimed the line was crushed and left charging me $526 for 100' of cable. Arranged to meet with a plumber at my location to have pipe dug and replaced. When I called to discuss why I was charged for cable and request that I at least be given the additional 40' of cable I had been charged for I was told, If you're going to be all weird about it we won't come Friday (to meet with the plumber).
Day 2: Plumber arrives with rented backhoe. Right Choice arrives and videotapes their equipment stuck in my pipe which is filled with water. The clog is located 3' from the sewer main in the middle of the road. The plumber leaves as he is not prepared to deal with tearing up the roadway. He did ask RightChoice to hydro-jet from the sewer main back towards my property. Right Choice did that and then left claiming the pipe was crushed and I would need to have it replaced.
Day 3: I go into basement and discover cable laying on basement floor. I am able to remove the entire 60' using one hand as the other is in a sling post surgery. I call to request my money back for the 'stuck' cable. After several minutes of debate I was told, You're just trying to get something for nothing. And was then hung up on.
Day 17: Phil's Electric Drain Service comes and videos the root ball left by Right Choice, Roots the drain clean and videos the clean and uncrushed pipe.  

Total bill from Right Choice= $1496.25
Phil's Electric Drain Service = $275

Showed up 2 hours late the second day, I would of had to only take a half day off work, instead I had to take the entire day. Not to mention the technician messed up the T joint putting it on upside down, luckily I FOUND IT and corrected him. Then he proceeded to route the PVC to the sink incorrectly and had to be completely redone. He is only a technician and the master plumber should have been there. Wasted time that I was charged for even though he said he took 3 hours off. The final product was average, it works. A added bonus during the job, a drawer was busted and the part was promised to be fixed. A bit BS later I fixed it myself.

We have had a similar encounter with a driver from this company. I have pictures of the plates and the person because they got out of their vehicle and made threatening gestures and comments to my wife.
