Best Plumbing Services in Michigan
Had to find a plumber who could clean out our line due to a weird backup over the weekend and Rose Sewer Cleaning had the best price and availability around.
The owner, Mark Rose, came out quickly with his equipment shortly after a Saturday morning call. He was really fair, went above and beyond to show that everything was working properly, answered all of my novice questions, and did it for a *way* better price than any of the big places around here.
I highly recommend him in case you need plumbing services. Great guy!

The best family company around. We had a huge project involving breaking into our cement floor to replace a broken pipe. Bob walked me through the process, what was needed and there was not a speck of dust left when he was done! Kim and Bob were awesome. I've hired them several times for different things and they are always kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I've even called for advice on a few things and are always happy to help. They are local so always near by. Bob is a neat freak (you should see his truck!) but that means he cleans up the job when it's done. I would give them 6 stars if I could!
Definitely give them a try.

I easily made an appointment and they later sent Scott to fix a leaky faucet on my tub. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I have nothing bad to say about the services provided. Prices were on par with other plumbing services.

Had a backed up drain, called for a price and was told 125.00 for the first 75 feet plus a dollar a foot for anything past that. They told me they where really busy that day but they could be out between 2 and 4...I was sceptical but sure enough they called and were here at four...came straight in and got right to work....cleared. drain and charged the minimum they quoted...real professional, less than an hour in the house.

Roy responded quickly to my request and was upfront on what the cost would be. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and got right to work. I appreciated that he clearly explained what might be causing the problem and what he would be doing as well as expressing confidence that it could be fixed. He persevered and did not disappoint. His price was fair too. My water situation is back to normal. I highly recommend him and his company.

It's hard to get excited about a plumber, but I really have come to rely on Putzig's. Over the past 14 years I have had much work done by Putzig's and I have never had a bad experience. They show up on time and ready to work, the worker's are knowledgeable and honest. (They charge a 1 hour minimum fee and once I had something that took less than three minutes to fix. So the tech inspected all my faucets, toilets, drains, and anything else he could think of. He ended up fixing about 6 other minor things, most of which didn't require parts (so it's not like he was upsizing me). These people do great work and can be trusted to give you good advice. I have only had one case where a problem came back after a repair and they came out and fixed it for free.

I don't evan call around anymore, guy is great, honest and stands by his work. You might be able to do it cheaper if you are a master plumber, but it won't look as good.

Gamble is a professional business with respectful employees.
We recently had our 50-year-old steam boiler on its last legs, and we asked 3 companies for a proposal, including Gamble. The big company (Flame H/C) made us feel secure with their large customer base and fluffy sales pitch about customer service, but they came in $2,000 higher than the others. We didn't want to pay for Flame's marketing and advertising, so we decided to go with a small, private business. We chose Gamble.
Simply put, the old boiler was taken away, the new one installed, and our home was back up with heat within 12 hours. The installation had a few hiccups, causing it to take a bit longer than normal. However, considering it was the Friday before the New Year holiday weekend, the Gamble guys did not rush or hurry to complete the job, and made sure everything was as it should be before leaving at 8:00pm.
I recommend Gamble based on their price, quality of service, willingness to install asap, and patience with the customer (we asked Phil endless questions to make sure we were getting the right thing). Also, Mike and Pete are masters of their work and are friendly as well.
I would give 5 stars, however I think they could improve the details on their quote. Our quote stated all parts and labor, but there was an oversight of a part needed and we ended up paying $300 extra. Perhaps a partial oversight on our part as well, but I am not an expert on boilers.
Details of our purchase:
New Yorker steam Boiler, 210,000 BTU
All new copper piping connected to existing steel piping
Electric damper

He is a better lawyer than plumber. I know this because after he flooded my house he threatened to sue me when I wouldn't pay his bill. His insurance covered about half the damage costing me thousands and his bill was a few hundred. Then he liened my house and left me powerless. Also, he operates under a couple of names and locations so he is impossible to track down. His name isn't Al by the way.

I previously reviewed the business as stellar and Im thinking I must have experienced a fluke for good service. This company burned me so bad on the next service call I placed in February 2016. I am fuming! I called because my cold water would not come on and I heard the tank on my toilet refilling with a odd sound and saw water shooting out of the top of the floater. I was told nothing was wrong with the floater water was supposed to come out of the top..fast forward two days later, toilet not filling with water at all! - see plumbing bill! - quick web search showed water is not supposed to come out the top of the floater.
When the two plumbers who I would have to guess is not licenced, came to my house they looked at the bath tub and said the pipe to the cold water is frozen, I said No its not, this isn't an exterior wall and my whole house is insulated ( I had the service where they went into all of my walls and blew in insulation) I said I believe it is due to over tightening then they took the handle off and said oh yes it is due to over tightening. They replaced the washer and my water just ran from the tub spout and they attempted to leave saying it was fixed! I said no its not the water is running, so they changed the washer again, the water still ran. They said they had to get to another job and left the water running and left. The stream turning into running water I had to shut off my water main, I called them to come back the next morning, and they said it was the stem and they did not have the parts left for almost an hour leaving my water main off and waterer streaming down behind the wall while he went for the part, they came back changed the stem it was still running water and they left saying the owner Michael had to come fix it, he came changed the stem again and I noticed that they damaged my diverter so the water did not shut off at the spout wasting tons of water when you take a shower, the owner said he would come back and fix it and said he would not charge me for the repair until he fixed it. Needless to say after several ignored phone calls they never came back! The ruin my granite floor with dirty muddy shoes, busted several of my ceramic tiles in my bathtub, without saying a word, left all sort of debris and dirt in my tub from their work and used my bath towel to wipe the water.
I called two other plumbing companies and was told to repair what Vaughn Plumbing reckless unprofessional work created would almost $1,000! How the hell does a initial repair of $50 turn into a $1,000 repair! I am still trying to come up with the money to fix this mess.
Avoid this company at all cost or it may cost you more than you will ever imagine.

Had a pinhole leak in a copper pipe above the furnace. It was on a Saturday during the Easter weekend. Called around on Good Friday trying to get a plumber who could come out the next day. I had to turn the water off as the leak was dripping into the furnace and knocked my furnace out. Couldn't get a commitment so called Plum Tech at 8:00 am on Saturday. Wouldn't quote me their rates (should have been my red flag) instead saying they would quote a price when they arrived. Said they would be about noon. At 1:00 I get a call telling me there by 3:00. At 4:00 pm he arrives, takes a quick look and tells me $400. Needed water back on for the family and since it was so late in the day I consented. Repair time was no more than 20 minutes! Job was done. Leak repaired, but $400 for 20 minute repair seems outrageous. I took their magnetic card and stuck it on my fridge so the next time I need a plumber I'll remember who not to call.

I requested their service throw yelp m, the company answered fast and sent a employee, 20 minutes after my call. The plumber failed to solve or diagnose the problem and took their $200 flat rate fees.

my plumbing was clogged up with grease from tenant I was told 150 it didn't go out to complete the cleaning of the main drain due to he only had 40 foot snak I informed Greg that he needed 100 feet instead of that his worker used his hand and said I owed 75 more dollars for the job I paid it but was left with the clean up process I was told he would return to clean up but no one ever showed up I'm reporting this business to the better business bureau as well to take advantage of a black woman as a black man is horrible it black on black mistreatment in business is just as bad as black on black crime so you might as well work with the white companies an g the job done right without additional fee due to lack of equipment to do the job.
