HISTORY
In the latter part of 2000, wanting to get back to the family business and to enable more focus on customer service, Vicky Griffin along with her father Bruce L. Griffin, her brother Bruce S. Griffin and her niece Christin Griffin opened what is now called Legacy Heating & Air Conditioning. Allowing three generations to work together in one company.
Not only are we a full line HVAC-R Company, but diversification in many other areas are natural such as indoor air quality, air purification and power duct cleaning.
On April 1, 2006, Guardian Services joined Legacy Heating & Air Conditioning, welcoming Vicky's Uncle, Jim Murphy, to the family business. Guardian Services has been in business for over 30 years as a heating & air conditioning company and also home remodeling.

Again with these people. Had Legacy come out in the winter last year for the heater. Which was a simple fix and only cost the service fee. I call them the Monday after July 4th for my ac, not expecting much in the way of appointments because of the heat wave. Got an appt for 2 days later in the evening. They call the day before. Repairman is running ABOVE schedule and can he come out the next morning? Yes, please. Super nice guy. Fixed the problem, walked me through everything. And STILL the labor and parts was almost the same as the service call. I will ONLY call this company for HVAC and I will only recommend this company from now on.

Showed up on time and professional! Our a/c quit working and Able was very through in finding the problem, took pictures to show us (because I'm not climbing up in the attic!) Needed to replace the indoor unit, which was 22 years old. Chris and Sam, the techs that did the install, were great, also. Very pleased with Legacy.
I just had Jason from Legacy air come over to fix my HVAC system which was not working and the line were freezing up. I told him what was going on and the symptoms and he immediately knew what to check. He had the system tested by a machine and found the my Freon was a pound low by the system was holding pressure. He gave me the price before starting the repair and was in and out within an hour. He also answered some questions I had while he was here and he was very pleasant. They will be my HVAC contractors going forward.
Needed maintenance done--they were quick with scheduling. Phone contact was pleasant & easy to work with. Service man showed up on time, was friendly and professional. He also answered my questions and took the time to explain things. I appreciate great customer service!
Came out for estimate and came 30 minutes early. Was impressed. Gave me a quote on the spot and came out the next day! Needed a whole new AC unit. Was able to me a down payment and the next week pay it off. Best service! My parents needed the same work done and my dad was mad because my quote was 500$ cheaper than his. Thankful to have AC on to finish off the last month of summer!
Everyone at Legacy was top-notch! The technician was on time, thorough, professional and friendly! We called them to remove a bird's nest in our dryer vent, and we are very satisfied with the job well done. The price was fair and affordable, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone!

Company has a great quality of service. From the office to the field crew they do a great job. Office was responsive to my call and got all my information clearly. Asked some questions about our facility and setup our appointment just a few days later. They called the day before to verify and when the service was on their way. The rep arrived and was very professional and nice. Spent the time to get everything handled and set us up for our yearly service. These people do great work and I highly recommend them.
Showed up on time, professional and extremely knowledgable within his profession. This guy was a straight shooter, which is such a relief these days. I've had dealing with two other companies and I always felt like I was being ripped off. Not this time. I would highly recommend this company to others that feel like they are being jerked around by other heating and air conditioning vendors. He also cleaned up after himself and went the extra mile to make sure the furnace was completely cleaned out and ready for winter.

Servicer showed up early, diagnosed the problem, explained it, fixed it, all in about an hour. Very knowledgeable, very friendly. If you need someone to get the job done, look no further. I'll be calling them for any future HVAC needs.

I wasn't able to get serviced through this company, but I thought I'd leave a review because the owner was really kind and willing to direct me to another business that would be able to service for what I needed! (We have a geothermal unit)

Five star customer support!
While their installation went well, their customer service is awful. Almost 1 year later, I get a bill for a service charge even though their tech said it will be waive by buying the central air conditioner. I had to call 2 separate times arguing with them to get it corrected. The VP Steve was not as helpful as you think he would be. I would not recommend to anyone.
I had 3 companies give us an evaluation and a quote on a new HVAC system. Legacy was very professional and non-pushy. They saved us thousands compared to one company and over a thousand dollars over the second company. They installed a Bryant 2 stage heater and a Rheem A.C. unit (high quality equipment) at a reasonable price with very professional & pleasant installers.
I will be using them for all my HVAC and plumbing needs in the future. I would highly recommend them.
