My solar water heater started to leak and needed to be replaced. After shopping around and getting quotes from multiple businesses, it came down to price and availability. Not only did Aloha Aina Plumbing quote me the best price, but that price also included removal of old heater. Surprisingly, some other businesses don't include that in their estimate... so sont forget to ask when inquiring.

I had family visiting, so it was important that I got this problem fixed ASAP. Keiko was very quick to reply to all my messages, and we scheduled for my heater to be serviced within 2 days of our initial contact.  On the scheduled date, both Keiko and Joe (the dispatched plumber) kept in communication with me as he was running a tad late from previous job. Once he arrived, he got straight to work and replaced my heater!

Joe did a great job, working quickly and even answering all my questions after. He cleaned up after himself, and the corner of my garage where he had been working looks cleaner now then before he arrived.

Awesome customer service and response time! We had an issue with our main water shutoff valve on a Saturday, and they were able to come out and make the repair on a Sunday. I had a water activating system, a little different from water filter but similar, that I wanted to get installed.  It was from Japan so there we little difference in pipe size so it wasn't easy to install.  It look a long time and a hard work but Aloha Aina Plumbing installed the water activating system perfectly.  Thank you for not giving up.  Thank you so much.

Our washing machine closet drain started to overflow. The drain was built into the closet wall and space was very tight. Plumber managed to get the snake in and clean out the clogged pipe relatively fast. He also exercised care making sure no blackish water didn't spill out or splash around. He was very professional and helpful. A job well done.l

We had an underground hot water line leak. We had several plumbers come out to take a look and all suggested abandoning the lines and rerouting the hot and cold water to the attic.  It was a pretty big job. Aloha Aina wasn't the cheapest nor were they the most expensive but they were definitely the most communicative and responsive. We decided to go with them.

Had problems with my main sewer line.  Was able to get a quote and service was very prompt, professional and efficient.  I was concerned because we were not able to use the bathroom and they were able to come in an hour and help us with our problem.  Also able to help us unclog a shower that was backing up too .

Aloha Aina Plumbing is fast, reliable, fair pricing, and quality work. My mom had a toilet leak that was leaking from the upstairs bathroom and had rotted thru the downstairs ceiling.
I contacted Aloha Aina Plumbing that evening and they were able to send a plumber out the next morning.
The plumber (Joseph) arrived on time and gave me a 30 min notice before his arrival. Joseph did an amazing job! He took his time and fixed the issue, which ended up being the wax ring/seal. He even added shims to level out the toilet to prevent it from leaking in the future.
After the job was complete, Joseph took the time to explain to me what he had fixed and tested it multiple times to make sure the leak was fixed.

Albert & Joe did a great job with my new toilet! I highly recommend them because they're punctual, professional and do very clean work. They quoted me on a standard toilet, but I upgraded to a Kohler since this toilet will hopefully last for many years.

Thank heavens for the service. Albert did a fantastic job on a cracked, leaking toilet in my dad's tenant's apartment. He replaced the water damaged floor board under the toilet. Brilliant idea to reroute the water source to the toilet. Albert could tell the original pipe to the toilet was too old to mess with. So grateful for the work completed in one day.

Nowadays, it's very rare to experience someone actually listening
to a customer's concerns rather than rushing to tell a customer what
they need.  Both Keiko and Albert take the time to listen and minimize
the stress and anxiety that usually accompany any type of home repair.
I needed to replace a garbage disposal unit that decided to retire without warning.   In a very calm tone, Keiko verified the unit couldn't be repaired
instead of replaced.  She then offered me the option of either installing a
unit purchased by the customer or one provided by them.  I chose the latter because it was the same reliable brand that I currently had and the price she quoted was more than reasonable.  Although they had a full schedule for the week, she managed to squeeze me in fairly quickly.  Speaking of quick, not only did Albert show up much earlier than expected (Keiko, of course, was on it and sent me a heads up text), but he removed, replaced and tested the disposer in a flash!  Needless to say, my first impression of Aloha Aina Plumbing was quite impressive.

In the same week, my kitchen sink was leaking and both bathroom showers were clogged. Keiko was so responsive and kind in getting me on the schedule immediately. Albert came by and quickly changed out the kitchen sink disposal pipe and strainer then army crawled under the house to clear a clog in the main line. This company is transparent and upfront on pricing, efficient, and a genuine pleasure to work with. So glad I found my go-to plumbers in Aloha Aina Plumbing!

We were intending on changing the seal at the base of the toilet ourselves, then at the last minute decided to have a professional do the work.  Therefore, found myself on a Sunday, telling my tenant that we couldn't fix the leak as promised that day.  Decided to seek out potential plumbers for another day, sent out my inquiry late morning...in a few minutes got a reply from a couple of plumbing companies.  Aloha Aina was one of those who responded right away, and quoted a price in their reply.  I spoke to another company who had also replied, but they would not even give me a ballpark figure for the problem I described...said that only after their plumber showed up and assessed the problem would they tell me how much the job would cost.  I hung up and called Aloha Aina...she gave me an approximate time, about 1-1/2 hours from the time i called, and ended up calling back saying that the plumber would be there in an hour.  It didn't take very long for the plumber to change out the seal, just as i had suspected.  He did a professional job and my tenant is very satisfied.

What started out as a simple drip from my shower spout turned into Murphy's Law of plumbing mishaps. Albert was super transparent with what needed to be done to fix my now broken gate valve and even suggested I get a second opinion, but I trusted that he wasn't ripping me off. He even talked to my resident manager and got him to (finally) change the water access in front of my unit. After two days of work, I now have a drip-free shower and the ever-important running water. Thank you, Aloha Aina Plumbing, for the awesome job you did, even if most of the work was unforeseen. I would totally hire this company again for any and all plumbing needs.

I don't always give 5-star ratings BUT Aloha Aina Plumbing is worthy of a perfect score. The quality of workmanship and customer service is highly apparent in this company. We needed a shower-drain leak repaired. Albert did a meticulous job in repairing and replacing the pipes; especially, since he was working on old corroded piping. We were very pleased and had him change out the bathroom faucet and drain too. We were fortunate to have him come out the following day. As he was about done, I mentioned if he could plug a space around a pipe from the wall, that was left from previous plumbers. I said it didn't have to be perfect, I just don't want roaches coming through. Albert's response left an impression in my mind. He said something to the effect of I'm gonna do it like it was my own home.  I went with my instinct about selecting this company, and I am so glad I did. Keiko from customer service is also worth mentioning. I felt comfortable talking with her right away. Her communication is prompt and professional with a personal touch. She will contact you to let you know that Albert will be on his way. All in all, genuine people who signify high quality at every level of their business. Thank you!!

Our condo needed a plumbing fixture repaired ASAP or it could have potentially fallen out of escrow. Albert went out of his way to come by on short notice, took several pictures and thoroughly explain what needed to be repaired and what it would cost. You can also pay the invoice with a credit card which was very convenient. I would definitely use him again and highly recommend to anyone needing a plumber!

Although it wasn't an emergency (slow drain), it was nice to be able to get same day service.
I already ran drain clog removers and other diy methods including running a snake to no avail.

Early Saturday morning the hot water side on the wash basin faucet was spewing hot water. The shut off valve would not shut off the water completely. We were loosing gallons of hot water in an hour. We called Aloha Aina Plumbing and Albert came out after going over the quote and price break down. While he was repairing the hot water shut off valve he noticed the cold water faucet side was about to go. So we decided to change the cold water shut off valve and faucet at the same time. We are glad we did. Throughout the process Albert was very conscious of the cost and tried to keep cost down for us.
Albert made sure things were workin, cleaned, and there were no leaks. We would recommend this locally owned company.

We thought we only had a leak at the base of our toilet, but Albert was able to identify the actual cause, install the new toilet we had picked out, and completely resolve the issue in less than 2 hours. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, from the initial call to the service being completed. We were able to get an appointment that worked for our schedules. Where do I begin to tell Yelpers how fantastic this company is!?

My kitchen sink was clogged and leaking on a Saturday. We already know night and weekend plumber needs are really expensive but I reached out here on Yelp! for a quote anyway and Keiko was the first to answer.  She gave their rates without being wishy washy or pushy which anyone has to appreciate.

We decided to wait until Monday (cuz it's So much cheaper!) and Albert was assigned to me. He was a little late but Keiko was sure to be in touch and let me know he was on his way. He arrived within half an hour and went to work. He tried several things and just couldn't resolve the problem by snake. He was pretty sure he knew where the issue was and knew that it would decently be good deal of work.  Albert was careful to fold up my kitchen rug and set it aside when he got there and cleaned up after himself before he left. It was the little dust pan and broom for me. His mama taught him right!

We scheduled a waste line repair and replacement for Wednesday. All I could see was dollar signs lol!  Wednesday morning I receive a call from Joe to say he's on his way to me.  He arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed and smiled every time he needed to talk with me - throughout the entire ordeal. SEVEN HOURS later, stained with red dirt even after washing up, Joe was done and humbly accepted an ice cold soda and bottle of water for the road.  

All is well and I could not be more grateful for good customer service, good communication, good craftsmanship, and good working attitudes!

From my correspondence with Keiko to meeting Albert the plumber on the day of repair, my experience with Aloha Aina Plumbing was great! They were both very friendly and accommodating. Albert was professional and explained everything in simple terms, so I knew what the job entailed. I'll definitely call them again when I have another plumbing issue!

Albert has now sent me a SECOND $200 invoice after I posted this review, as retaliation, a week after the job was completed. I will be taking legal action at this point. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!!!

Within 5 minutes of posting this Albert from Aloha Aina called me multiple times to yell at me because he was upset with my review. Everything below is 100% honest and I even verified everything with building security as I was not on property when the job was completed. The invoice was paid in full before I posted this. I am in complete shock at their behavior and have blocked their number so they cannot continue to harass me. *

Pros: They came very quickly and on a Saturday, the job was well done, though they were just clearing the main line in our condo.

Cons: $648 bill. Initially they quoted me and inspection rate of $180, but after the jo was done told me that building security (??) told them they knew what the problem was already so they didnt do any inspecting and charged me over $300/hour instead. Also, my tenants timed from when they walked into the unit until the time they walked out: 1 hour and 23 minutes. I was still charged for 2 hours. I am appreciative they were so responsive so quickly but simply not worth it IMO.

Dealing with a plumbing issue, not so fun, but working with Albert and Keiko to remedy the  issue was just a hasssle free experience.

Their response time was quick, both were friendly, but more importantly, they fixed the problem. They're just a solid company to work with all around.  Definitely recommend using them.

Reached out via Yelp on a Friday night at 1910 and had Albert out to my house in Ewa by 1930!  Luckily, he was at another job in Ewa and was able to stop by to inspect our issue.  He was friendly, knowledgeable, and actually found a leak in our solar water heater; something the home inspector missed during the home inspection!

Hands down the BEST experience I've ever had with a plumbing service. Done right the 1st time!  Aloha Aina Plumbing was quick to respond to my request.  The price breakdown was clear on my estimate, no surprises.  Communication was excellent.  They picked up the exact toilet I wanted.  When Albert arrived he prepped the whole work area making sure nothing damaged my floors, carpet, and walls.  When he was all done everything was clean still, in its place like no one was ever here, and I had 2 brand new toilets!  I'm more than satisfied with the service and craftsmanship.  Many thanks again Albert and Keiko!

Our toilet was leaking from the on/off valve. Aloha Aina responded quickly to my request on Yelp and an appointment was set up right away. Albert came and repaired the valve and since he was there, I had him look at a leak under my kitchen sink. He fixed that and changed a defective part in the toilet tank as well. It was a great experience with these guys . It was the fastest response on Yelp and im glad i chose them . I have to admit it was a lucky guess who to chose from all the companies that i got the estimate from . Keiko replayed almost instantly after i sent an email on Yelp . I was asking a lot of question and i have to admit i could be annoying when it comes to something i dont understand , but she answered all the questions and more . She gave me an estimate and all the papers i asked for (which i needed for my building association)  in record time lol . Joe (the plumber) came right on time , start working and finished also right on time . He did an awesome job , super clean and tidy . Did i mentioned his energy is so positive which is so important for me when people come to work at my place . GREAT GUY .

I accidentally dropped something in our toilet while flushing.  It clogged it up right away.  Keiko at Aloha Aina Plumbing scheduled a visit that same day.  Albert came in the estimated time and efficiently took care of the problem at a reasonable price.  He was very professional.  The issue was more complex to fix than expected but Albert took the time right then to do it.  We hired Aloha Aina to come back for another problem, slow bathtub drainage and again they were timely, efficient, professional, and reasonably priced.  They worked to accommodate our timing needs and are friendly.  Albert recommended an easy solution to help avoid problems in the future.  My family was very impressed with Aloha Aina Plumbing and highly recommend them for simple and complex plumbing needs.

Very friendly, locally owned, family business. I could not have been happier with the prompt responses from Keiko in the office and the communication and knowledge of licensed plumber Albert.

I asked them for an estimate to install a new sink where there is no existing plumbing (I see from their business description that they specialize in this kind of work) in my 1950s house. I immediately knew I wanted to go with Aloha Aina Plumbing for many reasons: I love to support small local businesses, he will be doing the work himself, he showed expertise and experience with this type of job, he is familiar with this style of house and he grew up in the neighborhood, and he was good natured, communicative, and volunteered to send his camera scope into my wall to give me a true estimate of the job in a non-damaging way, which no other plumber of the 3 others I had called out to give an estimate had done. Albert asked permission before he removed any screws or opened anything up, he bothered to recaulk the small hole he made for his scope, and left everything neat.  As other reviewers said, he worked with a sense of urgency and purpose. He ended up spending almost an hour answering our questions about other plumbing issues (apparently the best hair catcher for my nonstandard tub drain is a wire strainer like for kitchen sinks), anticipated checking to make sure the supply stores would be open on the day we wanted the work done, and made a detailed list of the materials, and even checked the water pressure in the house with his gauge.  He really went above and beyond to give the estimate and I had a great feeling about working with him and Keiko. I went ahead and scheduled Aloha Aina Plumbing on the spot although I had contacted many other plumbers. I also like that he gave me a flat rate for the entire job instead of just an hourly rate, that he will patch up the wall himself (others said I needed to hire a separate contractor to do that) and that he will come prepared since he already saw what is inside the wall. He was also super kind to my dogs.

He arrived on time and worked so hard all day long he didn't even take a break for lunch. Once he opened the wall he had to get some more parts but he managed the finish the entire job in a day. He also tested the sink for a long time after the installation to make sure everything was working properly, and the price came in exactly as planned. If it fits with your project needs, ask them about doing a cash job.  I have worked with many different plumbers over the past few years, but I feel like I finally found a responsive plumber I can trust for all my plumbing needs in the future. Albert recently completed a couple of projects at my house.  Work was clean, efficient, and well done.  Great communication and completed work in the timeline promised--offered to come early one day to make sure that he had all the supplies to finish on time which was much appreciated.

I appreciate the help from Albert and Joe who did an outstanding job with the replacement of three very difficult to find shower cartridges. They spent a lot of time looking for outdated parts, and was very transparent in pricing with any option I decided to go with. I would've gone with matching fixtures, but I decided not to sell my first born to afford it. I'm just grateful for working showers and getting it done in a timely manner.
