T & C Plumbing & Drain Cleaning

Referred to T & C by a friend, says 24/7 repairs, however if they don't call you back.... Called them a 2nd time, got an answering service and started in with all the layers and would have to call the manager... Called a national known company and they are already on their way to fix the problem.

We just got a house, and hired T&C to do some work to install/fix bathroom fixtures prior to move in.  T&C was very responsive.  The guys that came out were very friendly, diligent, and thoughtful in how they approached the problems.  They came on time and finished the work quickly.

A couple of weeks later, water started gushing out from under the house.  We thought it had something to do with the prior repairs so we called T&C.  They came out the same day.  It turned out that one of the old exposed pipes under the house had completely corroded through.  It was completely unrelated to their prior work that was entirely inside the house.  They quickly fixed it and installed a new pipe section.  When I got the bill, I was pleasantly surprised to see I was only billed for a regular repair, and not an emergency one.  

I will definitely use them again in the future.

Never again!! Never shows up when scheduled. Who ever answers the phone needs to be spoken to about their attitude. Don't accuse your customers of lying about leaving messages!! I have call logs to prove it!! Do u have proof I didn't call? I have proof no one showed up and no one called me or contacted me back after numerous calls. After 2 WEEKS from the appointment date that U guys never showed up too... I shouldn't be having to chase you!

Can't speak on their service, but if they're gonna drive recklessly in a company vehicle then I wouldn't have much hope in them as a business.

Speeding through residential areas without any blinkers and tailgating drivers. Almost rear ending my car with my 3 year old inside because your driver decided he wanted to speed up to cut through cars with no blinkers.

You'd think in a company vehicle they would try and represent their business better by not driving so recklessly...

Have worked with T&C Plumbing for many years and used them when we had our old apartment buildings. They always did good work. I just had them install 2 Kohler toilets in our condo residence and requested Evan to do the job since I'm familiar with how he works and his skill level. His skill level is excellent, btw, and he's very professional. I bought the toilets from Lowe's and told Evan I would take care of disposing of the old ones (I just scheduled a bulky item pick-up through Opala.org. T&C charges $50 or $60 each to dispose of your old toilet). One of the old toilets had to be cut out from grout with a grinder since there was ceramic tiling around the base. He did a thorough job in each bathroom, connected new supply lines, cleaned up the dust and debris, and made sure everything was secure and level. Total including tax came out to around $460. I thought that was reasonable considering the amount of work it took. He spent about 3.5 hrs to complete the job.

I would say they are consistent with their quality and have fair pricing and that's why they're my go to plumbers. Fortunately, I'm familiar with their staff and usually just request Evan or Randy to do the job because I know they are experienced, competent and fast. The only drawback is sometimes you have to schedule weeks in advance because these 2 are in high demand.

My only complaint is their office hours. I had to change the appointment day. I called and got voicemail. I tried 2x in the hour before my lunch break was over, so I left a voicemail with my change request. I got a voicemail later in the day requesting a call back and when I called back office was already closed. And I feel they are a 9-5 sort of place, which is my work hours as well so I was stuck playing phone tag for a while.

I did leave all my info in the voice message so it would've been nice for someone to have someone just call and leave a message saying Hey your request to change dates have been confirmed. Versus making me call back and speak to a live person. Or have an email option to communicate.

Other than that, Evan came out to fix the leak with an apprentice.. Or someone new, it sounded like he was training. Anyways, Evan called an hour prior to let me know they were on the way, they arrived after 9am appointment time but I'm cool with that, I live town and the address is Pearl City. I understand traffic sucks. Evan fixed the leak in an hour and so far no problems.

Second time using T&C Plumbing.  Evan and Kona came in and were very skilled and knowledgeable at what they do.  Fixed my leak and replaced my frozen shower head quickly.  After replacing they quality checked their work ensuring everything was good to go.  You need a great plumber request Evan or Kona by name.  Friendly, knowledgeable, and great customer service by explaining what the issue was and what causes the problems.  Five Stars and two thumbs up service.  Highly recommend!

Side drain tub that was installed by another company was leaking due to negligence. The old tub enclosure was removed. Drain pipes and water lines were corrected and replaced. The plumbers prepared the work area perfectly for the masons to install the marble slab. The demo and prep done by the plumbers allowed a quick and headache free install of the slabs. Evan and his helper whom name I forgot to get, were extremely professional and courteous. I am usually weary of having strangers in my home, but they made me comfortable enough to take a nap. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I was updated every step of the way. Although I didn't do anything I felt involved. I greatly appreciate the heads up call in the morning. I wouldn't hesitate to trust these guys again.

Randy came out on a Saturday and was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Very fast and efficient! Would recommend them to anyone! If ever I am in need again, I will definitely call Randy! Thank you so much, you saved me a lot of time and money!

Plumber was hired by my Property Manager. They did not arrive on date and time after I had to take a day off of work. Waste of my time. Would never use them again!! Very disrespectful to waste people's time.

Why does it take over 2 weeks to get a quote?
Finally gave up after continuous followup, called another higher rated company on Yelp, got an immediate quote over the phone, and fixed my issue the next morning.

Huge thank you to this company! They fixed my garbage disposal twice, they've gotten the job done quickly and great customer service.

As good as it gets, means service response was timely and job was done with professionalism and done right.  The tech was here at the time promised, had the parts to fix the faucet, and finished the job by thoroughly cleaning up the area.  That is how you get five stars.  The price was fair, and the bill was mailed to us.

You know, I see many plumbing companies in the heavily-congested condo area where I live.  Our condo unit owners have used many of those and tried do-it-yourself's - but eventually have come to trust T&C Plumbing to take care of their plumbing needs.  Timely, efficient, polite, reasonable rates - job done right, first time, every time!  You couldn't ask for anything more.  The last time my shower conked out, T&C came out right away and fixed the problem - he even recommended I return the shower head that I got at City Mill because of a history of problems with that particular shower head.

First off, I'm disappointed in the young plumber who came into my home and wasn't trying to listen to what I had to say. He just blew me off while I was trying to tell him the problem of my heater. He said ok the heater is working now and I was telling him the things I've tried and it would only be lukewarm water NOT hot water. He said it should work now. He was in my house about 10 minutes. I waited an hour before trying. The water was cold.
I called back and Samantha gave me attitude on the phone. Then when I tried calling no answer after that. That was very unprofessional Samantha.

These guys are the best.  Prompt service, very friendly and had my clogged drain cleared up within an hour in my vacation rental unit in Waikiki.  Very appreciative of other small businesses that do honest work at reasonable prices.  I'll call these guys anytime!

Plumbers Aleka & Ikona were very professional. Came on time and did a great job. I'm just the resident manager and secured the water to the property.  But what I saw was very professional work being done.

Used this company to move our water heater. It is nearly impossible to contact them. Every time I've called they do not answer and only a couple times they called back. They smoked cigarettes for most of the time they were here, which I didn't mind too much but I found it very rude that they left their cigarette butts around our yard for me to clean up. Also, they turned off our gas with no warning. We had to wait 3 hours for it to get it turned back on and we have to wait for them to come back to hook up the water heater to the gas, so no warm water in the mean time.

Needed our water heater replaced. Called them and they scheduled me for the next day. Service was excellent and water heater was replaced within  an hour.  Cliff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

If I could give T&C Plumbing a negative review I would. It took them TWO whole days to submit a report regarding a major leaking problem from the apartment above me, which stalled the ability for the property management company (M&M Real Estate) and our resident manager to address the issue. All the while, the leaking continued. The tenants of the unit causing the leak had to contact M&M Real Estate to tell them that the water heater was creating a pool on their floor for them to finally decide to fix the issue.

While T&C went to replace the busted water heater which turned out to be the cause of the leaks into our unit, never once did they come down to our unit to assess/check! You would think that if you're trying to thoroughly investigate the cause of the leaks, you'd want to check the unit that's being affected. Had they come and properly did an explorative assessment when we had first reported leaks into our apartment, perhaps things wouldn't have gotten to the point that it did.

It gets better. When replacing the water heater, they supposedly noticed a pipe was cracked in the unit above them, so they somehow managed to blame all of the water damages to the unit above them, when they themselves had to replace the water heater -- which they had actually mentioned was nearing the end of its lifespan -- so they even knew about it, but didn't do anything about it until it finally burst. When they replaced the supposed cracked pipe of the unit above, it caused draining problems in the shower for that unit.

Throughout this whole process, they never provided any official reports/documentation or photos to us to indicate what's going on, so we're at their mercy as they fabricate whatever narrative they want to put them and M&M in the clear. We were the ones having to constant ping them and M&M for answers. And even when we did reach out to them, they would provide runaround, unsatisfactory answers. To this day, they've yet to give conclusive evidence or provide a report, which I guess wouldn't matter anyway since I'm sure they would've doctored it up and made it so they and M&M would be in the clear.

T&C Plumbing and M&M Real Estate property management are in cahoots with one another and are some extremely shady characters. I am never one to write  reviews, but this poorly mismanaged incident has compelled me to warn others about doing business with these people. You should not do business with T&C (or M&M Real Estate, the the property management company they're partnered with), unless you want to be swindled and treated with unprofessionalism!!

I've been using Chris and his crew for many years and they are very good at their job and professional. Many times we have emergencies that need attention right away and his office staff is always helpful and responsive. Their invoices are detailed and helps when we have to forward them to our clients.  They are a great resource and I refer them all the time.

They installed my gas stove quickly at  the best hourly rate i could find $89...every interaction was professional from the scheduling to the installation unlike some of the other places I called who charged up to $40 more an hour.... highly recommend these guys. .. thanks

Sorry, I had high hopes for T&C given there three positive reviews.  Also, they agreed to come out the same day I  asked for a quote.  But here it is.  Guy came over on 2/10 to give me a quote for a leaky hose/pipe in the garage.  The leak was small but had occurred for some time, such that it caused a hole in the drywall.  Nonetheless, I wanted to get if fixed ASAP to mitigate the amount of damage.  So after the guy left on 2/10 after inspecting the pipe, I called the lady at the office and provided her my email address so they could email me a quote sooner, rather than mail me the quote.  By 2/12, I still hadn't received a quote, so I called the lady at the office, and she advised that she would send out by close of business on 2/12.  Two weeks later and I still haven't received my quote!  Hey T&C, I hope you realize that when someone has a leaky pipe, its very important that they get a quote immediately....  at the very least, please don't forget to send me quote, that's just plain unprofessional!  

If one positive thing came out of this, I did use Low Cost Drain Plumbing, and will never use another plumber again.  Matt diagnosed the problem on one day and fixed the problem the next day.  T&C maybe you should call Matt for suggestions on how to operate a professional plumbing business.

Chris and Heather were a friend of a friend, so they were recommended . I have used them for years, always great, timely, respectful service.
I'm so frustrated now, I had to wait to post so I don't write bad words.
My water heater was leaking, the dude was supposed to come at 9am. Showed up to sleepy me at 8am.
Said it was a 2 person job, told me 2 guys would come over at 9am. So, at 11 when they showed up. No introductions, and walked in and out of my house. No knock, no respect.
They said they could not do anything that day, and they dont work Thankgiving, nor Friday after. In fact they could not replace it til tues. I did have tfo notify my neighbors about the water shut off 24 hours in advance.
Tues they fixed it, I went on a trip, no hot water when I got home. They told me to call an electrician. Nice, very supportive follow up. So, there is a leak that shorted out my circuit breaker. The electrician fixed it, but T and C has not called me back. I have called and even asked to have the owner call me. So, still have the leak.

Heard about this company through a friend that has used them before. I called them to set up an appointment to clear up a clogged shower. Crew showed up on time and was very polite. They got to work snaking the drain and provided updates while they were working. Once the clog was cleared, they cleaned up and was on their way. The whole process was simple and pricing was reasonable. Will definitely call them again if I had any clogs.

Had an emergency plumbing job. They responded and fixed the problem very promptly. And, they did not rip me off.

One star only because I couldn't give less. When I called the young girl on the phone acted like I was bothering her when I called to arrange work I needed to be done. She didn't have the plumber call me as I requested. I had them replace a sink faucet and shower control, overflow plate and drain. They didn't even clean the area around the overflow before replacing the old one and the the caulking around the shower control plate had two small voids along the top of the seal. I also noticed no plumber's putty around the drain and it appeared water was going around the drain instead of down it. When I sent an email to the owner, Randy, about the drain he didn't even respond. I just got two half sentences from the company, probably the young girl, one that he was going to check it. Then after that he checked it and that it was dirty around the overflow and that was AFTER a tile guy had repaired their shoddy work. Randy didn't even check the drain which is the reason I had written to him. Since it was a plumbing issue the tile guy said he couldn't repair it. Two photos of overflow plate before my tile guy fixed T & C's shoddy work. I got the impression Randy has no pride in his business or cared that his plumber did shoddy work.

My tub faucet had a leak this Friday and one of the plumbers came down to take a look at it on Saturday.  He was unable to fix it that day, but he told me to call Monday to have his dispatcher schedule a time that day.  I called this morning and was told that they could be out there in a few hours.  I went to take a shower on base and while I was coming back, my realtor told me that the plumber stopped by and left.  I called the company and they claimed that he called me but I had no missed calls.  This has been very frustrating because of the lack of communication.  I really needed my shower fixed and now I have to wait for another day.  Would not recommend this company.

Hana hou, we had another plumbing emergency and these guys came in right away to help. Our toilet experienced a crack at the bottom base. It ended up over flowing. Called T&C Plumbing and they came in the same day. They were fast, affordable and very fair. The worker even fixed the tile floor after installing our toilet. They paid attention to detail. Cleaned up the area and left it spotless.

Thank you RANDY!!! In and out!!!! Our little one clogged our bathtub drain with his skateboard and my hair clip!!! (I always wondered where I'd put it )  Randy did an amazing job! Very professional and kind to my little one!  He arrived right on time and was out in 15 minutes!!! So grateful for your service! He even gave us some helpful tips for upkeep! Mahalo Randy!!!!

James came by on Friday and did an amazing job! First off, he arrived right at the start of our 2.5 hour window - hallelujah!!! He proceeded to retrieve the light clogging our drain (yes, a light) and efficiently cleared the pipe of some other stuff, all the while being friendly and cheerfully explaining what he was doing as we watched in fascination. He definitely knows his stuff inside and out...literally! 10/10 would call again

Our plumber Chris E. was very efficient and answered every question and concern we had. He also did a great job replacing our toilet bowl. Such good customer service and would definitely recommend!

I live in a townhouse and my neighbor's water heater broke, so they had T & C change their water heater out. After changing it, the water pressure caused our water heater to explode. And then my neighbor called T & C again to assess the problem because some water had leaked to their apartment. Then T & C charged me the bill when I have never ever called them, nor had they done any work for me. This company just wants money. They are not in the best interests of their customers.

Randy and his crew are life savers! Came home after work to a broken water heater and my apartment flooded with water. My landlord got me in contact with T & C and they were able to get someone here in no time! Randy was so friendly and easy to talk to on the phone. He sent over Josh who was, also, so polite and got the new water heater up and running super fast! Can't believe how quick my problem was solved especially since it was a Saturday night! THANK YOU, You guys rock !

If you need plumbing work, call T&C Plumbing! Randy called, then came over an hour earlier than scheduled, took his shoes off, smiled and introduced himself. He was neatly dressed and groomed. After inspecting the area, and explaining what needed to be done, he cut a hole in my wall & replaced a 2 foot cast iron pipe. He initiated pleasant conversation and EVEN repaired the fouled up T-trap under my sink (no connection to this repair work) put in by our previous contractor. Got him to take a peak at master bath T-trap that I was suspicious about, and he confirmed my suspicions. So, he'll be back to install a new faucet and repair that next month. He was at my condo only one hour, charged me $10 less than originally quoted, cleaned up every drop of dirt & water and took all his trash with him when he left. Super professional and nice, and when I asked if he wanted a check or credit card, he said 'I'll just send you an invoice - you'll have 30 days to pay, so no problem. Have a great day!'.

We have used T&C Plumbing for several jobs over the past 15 years.  This time we had a drip leak with an outdoor faucet.  Evan arrived and not only repaired the drip leak but changed out the faucet on both outdoor spikets.
I will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs.  Mahalo Evan...

Awesome company to work with.  I can honestly say they stand up for their work.  Business and work done professionally.  Some companies take a while to respond, T&C have been prompt and always on time.  I would like to give T&C and Josh my thanks and appreciation.

T&C plumbing always sends out polite and hard workers. They may look scary with tattoos on their arms and nice clean look.

But they are surprisingly polite and does their job right the first time.

Unprofessional, bad communication skills, gave me an appointment time of 1-5 pm, what kind of appointment is that? and left a mess after job was done. Not professional at all.

I have used T&C plumbing on several occasions for plumbing problems. They have never failed to do a great job. They are always professional, always on time and complete the job in a timely fashion and never leave a mess. I have also used them for a foundation problem caused by water erosion. Again, they were the right company for the job. This is the plumber to call.

We were put in touch with TC after buying our new water heater from Home Depot. I was a little skeptical at first since my previous experience with a Home Depot contractor (for installing carpet) wasn't very good.

TC surprised me though. They immediately contacted me the next business day to schedule installation. The person I talked to was very professional and thorough. My hubby was happy with the installation service, saying their guys were professional as well. TC even gave me a follow up phone call to go over the services they provided and to make sure I knew how to get my water heater model number and warranty info in case I ever needed to provide that information.

I would definitely recommend these guys for water heater installation or service. And I plan to use them in the future.

I noticed water coming from the toilet tank.  Oh no.  I called my sister who recently had plumbing work done.  She provided me with this company.
I called and was able to fit into their work schedule for the day.

Alika arrived and was very polite and courteous.  He was very professional and patient.  He explained what was happening and why/how it was leaking.  He educated me on how the toilet tank works and provided recommendations.  I thought it was a whole piece.  Who knew.  LOL!  Leave it to the experts.

He fixed the problem in a timely manner and was very neat as he cleaned up the area.

My hot water heater stopped working on Thursday night.  My property manager took the entire freaking day on Friday to approve repairs.  

Randy at T&C Plumbing arranged to come by on Saturday to make repairs.  They initially thought the 7 year old water heater needed to be replaced but Randy quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed the heater in 30 minutes.  He also stayed around 30 minutes to make sure the water was heating up.

He then just texted me (the next morning) to ask if the water heater is working properly,

The guy is a real class act and incredibly easy to work with.  He could have opted for the more expensive fix.  But this guy is a hundred percent honest.  

Recommend you work with T&C Plumbing.  I think Randy is one of the owners

How would you feel if someone randomly knocked on your door, told you that your unit MAY be leaking water into the unit below, and then left for the day without any confirmation of the leak or any way to contact the person making the notification?.. because thats what happened.

Yes I was finally able to obtain the report the next business day... 3 days later, sense it was a Friday. The technician did not identify what company he worked for or gave a business card upon entering my home. The technician didn't definitively tell me that it was in fact my unit causing the problem. On his way out, he just asked if I was going to be home for a while, and then never returned.

I would think that it would be in a plumbing company's best interest to get their clients plumbing problem fixed as fast as possible and notify the parties involved as soon as possible. Your technician couldn't be bothered to knock on my door or leave a note saying that my unit is leaking into your clients unit?

Amazing service. I called around 8:00 in the morning and the lady on the phone was very nice and helpful she let me know someone would be at my house between 9:00am-1:00pm. Our tech got her at 9:50am and it only took him 10 minutes to get my toilet unclogged. He also informed that my toilet needed to be changed not because of the clog but because the jets on the toilet were weak and was causing a weak flush. I would recommend this company to my friends and family. Thank you T & C!!!

This afternoon T & C Plumbing came early for the job we had called about.  Since another company charged us $400 for a simple sink repair we were really shaking in our boots over what we thought would be two fairly involved repairs.  T & C Plumbing's man, Evan, came out and completed both repairs in an hour and charged us far less than the other company's advertised prices.  What a wonderful thing to find a company with service as its priority.  Thank you T & C Plumbing!  We are not rich and it doesn't look like you are going to be either but I know you'll sleep well at night knowing you've given value for every dollar!  Mahalo nui loa!

Yet another plumbing company who didn't follow through with service.  Again, I took time off from my paying job to head home and allow them to survey the work.  They did come by, which is more effort than the previous vendor I contacted, but here I am still waiting for over a week to get the estimate.  All I got was crickets.  

I should not have to pester a company to do work, but I guess they didn't want my money, so I've moved on and went with another plumber recommended by a coworker rather than trust anymore Yelp reviews about plumbers.

Thank you so much Randy and Thomas for replacing my shower valve and kitchen faucet efficiently and professionally. This was my first, and certainly not my last, interaction with T&C Plumbing. I highly recommend this company.

Update: I don't know what's going on with my life lately, but my water heater needed to be replaced, so I found myself looking for plumber services again.  First price quote I received from Emergency Plumbing started at $1600-$2500, depending on which package I wanted.  I quickly turned them down and purchase a heater and install through Home Depot. Well 48 hours went buy and no one called to schedule an install. Chris, owner, messages me back via Yelp at like 6/7 am Monday morning. He had a technician out by 1230 the same day. Considering my tenants haven't had hot water, I'm extremely grateful. Will update cost of service once I get the bill.  Another five star experience from the same company.

Contacted company via Yelp app. Sent a photo of my plumbing issue and requested a quote. They got back to me the very next business day with an estimate. Easy to use and cost of replacing mixing valve behind shower wall was approximately $150.  Leak was fixed within a week. Will definitely use their service again if I need to.

First time dealing with any plumbing issues since I recently bought an apartment unit. I was both worried and frustrated to learn that there was piping damage seeing how I just got the unit earlier this year. Randy, was the professional that the building manager recommended and I'm glad he did since Randy was really nice to answer all my questions and put me at ease. Randy explained the issue and what was needed to be done. I appreciate that he was honest about any costs and services and how he helped me with talking with my building manager. I definitely would recommend Randy to anyone with plumbing issues since he's friendly and didn't push any services.

Found Heater leaking on Saturday,spoke to Randy of T & C Plumbing that same day.  Randy himself offered to come and repair heater right away, at least to stop it from leaking. He advised me that hot water would be off until Monday though, for thats when a new heater could be purchased and replaced. I asked if we could wait until Monday. I don't do cold water. He personally guaranteed that his company would follow up with me first thing Monday morning, which they did.  Plumber Josh was at my place by 8:30. He accessed the heater situation, even checking all surrounding areas and piping / fittings thoroughly and efficiently.He replaced heater all by himself and he took his time making sure all things were working correctly, cleaning up after himself and doing a great job during replacement, not making a mess and/or damaging anything.  Josh is very friendly and looks to be very handy and responsible. He does things with common sense, which now days is very hard to come by. I work with customers of all kind daily. Its so nice to be a customer who is so satisfied with the service I received from T & C Plumbing. Randy and Josh are great and know whats up. They know how to get the job done correctly and the first time. I recommend their services to anyone who wants a great plumbing company for any type of job.

On one occasion, my clients needed the water shut off valve to be moved from a common wall area where it didn't belong and back into the condo. Another company quoted is just north of $1,200 and would take two days. Randy did the job for $555 in 3 hours and it looks Great!!

On another occasion, another company quoted my clients a bit north of $5,000 because their bathtub area was leaking down to the neighbor below. They said they would have to replace the bathtub. Randy took a look and said it wasn't the bathtub but just a pipe that was leaking.
He did the job for $750.

Was scheduled for work to be done 10-1. I called them at 10:50 to see if the plumber is on their way. The lady on the phone was very unprofessional and just said, it's scheduled for 10-1 UGH IT'S 10:50!!!!

My tenant said the hot water heater stopped working.  So I began looking for the best price and company to replace my tank.  It was an education..., Many plumbers said it would cost about $1000 includes tank and labor.  No one offered to come and see what the problem was except T & C Plumbing.  They had someone come out that day and then I found out the reset button needed to be pushed!!  That was it!!!  So thankful that T & C checked it out and saved me a grand!  I will keep them in mind the next time I need plumbing work.  And yes, they take Credit Cards!

T&C Plumbing is great. Jackie took our call and told me that she would get someone out as fast as possible. She called back and told me Evan would be out shortley. Evan came out to our store really fast. He fixed our problem and worked fast.. He explained exactly what the issue was and corrected it. Thanks T&C Plumbing!
