I would definitely recommend West End Plumbing!  Had a new Hot Water Heater installed as preventative measure.  The job was done, on time, as promised, in a neat and clean manner.  All PVC was changed to brass fittings.  Nothing needed to be asked for twice, it was all part of the routine job.
 In these days of masks and gloves you are usually afraid to allow people into your home.
This was an excellent company to deal with.  Price wise, people wise and anything else that matters.
The 2 technicians who installed the Rheem Hot water tank were Mike and James.

Terrible service and lousy repair job. After sending the guy back twice, and very expensive, used another company to finish the job right.  Not leaking and pipe is routed right.
Would not use this company again.

I found West End through Yelp's tool of finding businesses for your projects I wrote my needs and they responded quickly with an estimate for their service call for a plumbing issue.

Ted came to my house in the scheduled time and assessed the situation. After listening to my needs and walking around the property he went back to his truck to write up an invoice. Once he had it ready he sat with me and walked me through the different services that it will take to get my bathroom issues fixed. Gave me price estimates and gave me a copy of the paper.

He was professional and answered all of my questions. Depending on my situation I hope to work with West End again!

Friday before Christmas, had an emergency gas leak. They were out in less than a half hour and had it fixed in less than two hours. But then we had some issues with the city gas company (incompetent city gas employees who didn't know that there is new technology beyond the 1970s) and wouldn't turn the gas on. Adam was incredibly helpful, even over the weekend, with helping us to get the gas turned back on as quickly as possible. Top level customer service. Price was competitive with others in the area. I would highly recommend!

I called them for a leak in my living room ceiling coming from the jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. They told me they did work with jacuzzi tubs and they charged $95 just for the visit. When the plumber got here, he said they did NOT work with jacuzzi tubs, he said it would be $250 to open up the living room ceiling and when I asked him if he could do it that day, he said I have to see, because I have to move the furniture by myself. Mind you it was just the couch to move to the side. I felt him was just lazy or maybe he wanted me to pay $250 AND help him! He also did NOT do any TESTS! Didn't even try to turn on the water or anything! My money was just wasted. I paid the $95 and I'm NEVER calling this company again!

Johnny was at our house to find and fix a leak at our front yard. He was very helpful, professional, and very knowledgeable in regards to his plumbing trade.  He made suggestion that I will take him up on it.  I recommend this company and Johnny without a doubt.

I called numerous placed and West end Plumbing came right out, and Johnny got to work by assessing the problem and fixing it right away.  The price was right and fair.

This plumber was terrific and went above and beyond to fix my problem. Highly recommended, and would use them again.

Our house needed all new pipes and we didn't know where to start. A friend recommended West End Plumbing so I requested an estimate from them and another company. Both estimates were comparable in price, but not the service. West End walked me through all the work that would be done, potential problems that could come up as well as things that may go in our favor. They returned my calls timely and right away I knew I'd be in good hands. When the crew got there (on time by the way) they were professional, explained everything that they were doing, showed us the progress and answered every question/concern I had. They finished the job earlier than first discussed, which was key because we couldn't move into the house until the work was done. They were mindful of our home and obviously take great pride in their work.
I highly recommend this company, from Randy and Adam in the office to Cory, Mark, Justin and the rest of the crew that jumped in. It was such a relief to find a company you can trust to be there when they say they will and do a quality job.

West End came out to repair our toilet when it wasn't flushing properly.  It needed a new seal and the repair was quick and inexpensive.  The tech was courteous and professional.  We also had a leak test done in our shower on a different service call. The tech was prompt, thorough and took the time to explain his findings. We are very pleased with West End Plumbing and will continue to use them for all our plumbing needs.

My hot water heater was over 10 years old and finally went.   I was doing research as they changed the rules on residential heaters of 80 gallons.   I really didn't like the options I found however I am very appreciative that I found WEP and Adam.

Adam made it simple and presented a few good options for me.  He was very generous with his time and kept his word.   He had a team out that day and completed the job exceeding my expectations.

Michael Russow was the Sr. Tech that worked on my install.   I ended up going with an 80 gallon stainless steel tank (that also came with a good warranty).  Mike didn't rush the job and took the time to make sure everything lined up properly and look good.   He left my place clean and kept me posted during the process.

Very very disappointed with this company. Had a service call 2 weeks ago because my shower was leaking down to the apartment below. My drain pan is old but not the cause of the leak. The leak is from the gasket around the drain which has come unsealed. Plumbers  went down to the apartment below (owners gave us access) and was able to see the piping. He then went straight to his truck and said my best bet was to get a new drain pan. I advised I was not able to afford one at this time I just needed the gasket fixed now to prevent the leaking downstairs. He tried to call his boss but got no answer, he said he would have him call me later. He gave me a quote for a drain pan (almost $2,500) said just don't turn in the water and it won't leak I told him I wasn't using the shower but it's still leaking he said as a plumber for 30 years it's not leaking no call from manager, the next day my neighbor advised it's still leaking, slow leak. I called left message for manager still no call back. Turned out my shower head has a slow leak which was going down my drain. I figured it out. It's still leaking, just into a bucket, I don't know how to turn the water off from the handle. This company took my money for a service call, never fixed the leak, and I never got a call from the manager. The plumber himself was nice enough but was in a hurry. Spent less than 10 minutes minus the time to write up a quote. Very bad service. I do not recommend them

Adam I don't see a contact us link in order to reach out to you. Do you have an email address. Yes your organization called me after the fact asking when I would like to schedule the drain pan installation. I got no call from you as the technician promised and I called you the next day and you were out of the office.

In response to Adam's note below, please be aware that he fails to recognize that he called me personally (from cell phone) in September telling me that he understood he needed to clean out the washer. In addition, he fails to note that we have his employee lying on video for that September visit saying he cleaned out the washer - which obviously he didn't.  Should anyone want to see the video, feel free to message me direct. Thank you. You are warned.

As far as CSR comments from Adam, his company records every conversation EXCEPT for ones that occur on cell phones. Obviously he has some issues that he's covering for. Thankfully, a few of his employees explained to me this is how he screws customers which is why I recorded the exchange on site.

Do not hire this company. My family has been working with Adam for years. Unfortunately, things have changed. So much so, that it just got so heated for them not doing the job correctly initially, that I asked for my money back on both visits. Adam said to me, so now you're asking for your money back after giving me a negative review? And do you always live this angry?  Truth be told, no I don't. But if I hire and pay for something, I expect it to be done properly the first time. In addition, I was willing to pay for another visit (which I did) and was even willing to have them do the larger job (my reason for today's call) except with how he handled today and refused to acknowledge past issue - he won't be getting anymore of our family's business.  Further to that Adam, as noted, I asked for stuff to be done correctly the first time because my Mom (one of your customers) is dying of cancer and my time is limited... and you didn't skip a beat and focused more on a negative review than acknowledging that maybe your company is at fault.

I have to say I was surprised by my interaction with West End. When youre faced with plumbing issues you are already in a pretty vulnerable place. I was no different in this case. I called West End and they were able to come out same day. We ended up having to have several visits as the problem was a little more that originally expected but West End stood behind their work.  Adam (owner) took the time to ensure I was completely taken care of and satisfied with the work of his company.  It was a breath of fresh air to see a company care so deeply about the impression they leave on their customers.  Thanks Adam and West End team!

Needed a new garbage disposal. Made a call and within an hour a qualified repairman fixed and installed a new one . Hassle free great service .

Very over priced.  The plumber came, spent 20 minutes and performed two simple tasks, and gave me a bill for $400! The amount of time and the small repairs did not justify the amount charged.  Apparently, West End Plumbing thinks plumbers make over $1,000 an hour.  Will never use them again.

They do fantastic work and the staff is so nice. They called me and let me know when I could expect them and then called an additional time to advise that they were a few minutes away. The serviceman took the time to explain what the issue was and was clearly very experienced.  There will never be another company that I will call for my plumbing needs West End Plumbing is a wonderful company.

I had an emergency where my shower head stopped working. I called the office and they had a guy to my home in less than an hour. He replaced my shower head for a good price and was finished relatively fast. Would gladly use again.

I scheduled an appointment with West End plumbing for an issue I was having with water pressure on my bath faucets. I received a nice reminder call this morning and then Ted came out.  He was prompt and professional.  Although I did not have any work done other than diagnostic, I would consider them again for any future plumbing issues.

I love this company! I called in May for a leak on my kitchen sink and they came out same day within a couple hours. Once the plumber, Pete (a lovely guy) checked things out he let me know that I had 2 separate issues, a loose faucet & a bad water filter. He tightened up the hose things for my faucet to take care of that & installed a new filter to stop the leak (good thing too, as my old one definitely wasn't working the way it should anymore!). I was so happy with the work, the response & the pricing (they gave me a discount for multiple items, which I though was great), I will absolutely be using them again!

I just purchased a new home and had some issues.  They sent Johnny who was amazing.  He is super helpful and very patient with all my questions.  Once he was completed he made sure I knew how to work everything.  Would highly recommend this company and would suggest you ask for Johnny.

and Adam explained why some extra fees were involved.

One of the faucets in the master bathroom was leaking and I thought that maybe it just needed a new washer.  So, when I went to turn off the shutoff valves under the sink, black and gray water start spewing all over.  I got the valve back into a position where it wouldn't leak and decided that now would be a good time to replace both faucets in that bathroom as well as the 4 shutoff valves.  So, Chris (I think he's the owner) gave me a competitive quote over Yelp for the work.  So, I ordered what I felt were two stylish Delta faucets on Wayfair.  The faucets came pretty quickly and I called West End Plumbing to come do the installs.  They sent the nicest guy (Joe) over to the house and he did an excellent job changing out the shutoff valves (now called angle stop valves) and intalled both faucets.   He knew what he was doing, put up with all my questions and cleaned up when the job was done.  I couldn't ask for better service at what I believe was a fair price.

Had plumbing emergency and could not get anyone out for 24-48 hours until I called West End Plumbing. They came out within 2 hours and fixed everything! He took his boots off every time he came in house and handled my rambunctious pup who followed him everywhere.

I recently had a water leak inside a wall . I've been using WEP for many years but this was a much bigger problem than I've ever had before. Naturally it was first noticed on a Saturday night. I called that night and had a water extraction company here the next morning. There was no exposed water or someone would have been here that night.by Monday a plumber was here to find the leak (it was buried in a cement slab) and devise a solution. By the next day, with as little damage as possible, the leak was stopped and ready for repair. Today, Thursday, a new water line was rerouted and everything is back to normal as far as any plumbing problems are concerned.
With hundreds of plumbers out there it might be confusing where to go when you need help. West End Plumbing makes it easy. Fast, fair pricing and the highest quality workmanship.

The West End team were very pleasant and professional. They were able to come by next day for out water heater,  provided us with a fair quote and installed the very next day. The team followed covid-19 precautions, tidied up after themselves and even provided us with the info necessary for permits.

Ted from West End Plumbing is the Fixer! When no one else can figure it out, Ted is the man! Another plumber wanted to remove tile to get to the pipes for the bathtub to work, a huge expensive job! Thank God Ted came to the rescue. He knew right away that it was a minor repair and got it working perfectly. Today he repaired the leak under the kitchen sink. Apparently, the guy who installed the water filter did not install it correctly and it was leaking. Ted replaced the tubing and connectors, and quickly repaired it. Ted is the best!

After seeing some reviews of this place we decided to call them up for some problems we were having in our new home. They were very responsive and was able to come out to our home within a days time, if not the same day. They were able to get all the work done in a reasonable time also. However, the prices for me were way too expensive, and just unreasonable. For example, they charged me $100 for an angle valve, when at other retailers this piece was less than $30. Just unnecessary.

West End Plumbing came right over to help me out on a Saturday. My main water valve broke so no water to the house at all. Gary knew exactly what to do. He is an expert in plumbing. He repaired my kitchen faucet, leaking spikette and the main water valve to the house. Fair pricing too.

I've become quite familiar with West End Plumbing over the last few years. I've used them for a variety of plumbing issues ranging from installing a new hose bib to resolving clogs to fixing leaks. Overall, I have been satisfied with their work.

One things I like most about West End is how easy it is to schedule an appointment with them. They have always seem to have free times or they tell you that they can squeeze you in, which is great. Even when they've been completely jammed up, they've been very accommodating and flexible, which was much appreciated and crucial when dealing with plumbing issues.

Another nice aspect of West End Plumbing is their reliability. In all my experiences with them (and it's probably 4 or 5 total), their plumbers have never failed to show up on time and they always do solid work. So this is definitely a company you can count on when something happens.

While they do have some important positives a mentioned above, I do have to comment on their pricing which is not so great. West End Plumbing definitely tends to be on the higher side when compared to other area plumbing companies. While this is definitely a concern, sometimes, when there are no other options available, I kind of feel like it's worth paying a bit extra to ensure a job is done quickly, efficiently and effectively. Sometimes plumbing issues just can't wait.

Overall, I like West End Plumbing and would recommend them. While they may not be the most affordable option out there, their service and professionalism have been consistently good. Four stars, with the pricing being the only factor that prevents me from giving them a 5 star rating.

Hello, This my review of West End plumbing. I have to tell you, I called a few places an got a few quotes. I ended up going with West End plumbing. Let me  highly recommended them to you. I spoke with a young man named Adam. Very knowledgeable and very helpful in helping me get what I needed without trying to oversell me. That was very much appreciated. The installers came in right on time very thorough and very polite. The job was smooth and we are extremely pleased. I would recommend this company to anybody I know or don't know!  Very fare in price, Very good name brand water heater. Thank you very much for your service.

I'm happy with the experience of replacing my water heater. Quick response time & good customer service. The price for new water heater installation was , however, a little on the high side.

I have since filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau for false advertisement, customer service ethics, and withholding of a refund.

They wanted over 300$ to replace a piece in the tank of the toilet that cost less than $30.....

This review is solely based on an estimate I received. Though professional, the estimate was ridiculous. I get multiple estimates for every big project I am doing.

I got a first estimate from another plumbing company to repipe my entire unit using copper pipes who provided an estimate of $5000. The second company provided me with an estimate of $6500. I assumed West End would've been in that range. The estimate provided to me by West End Plumbing was $13,995. This was not even for copper pipes but for PVC.

That is unfair and a clear example that they would take advantage of a situation if given the opportunity.

Had never needed to replace a Water heater before so I got a great education from the owner.  Seems they cost approx. $1,000-$1400 to replace with permit....Got multiple estimates from various Companies.  I got a fair price from West End Plumbing so Mike W. and Tom came out to assess my needs.  Got a written estimate and gave the ok for the job.  Mike and Tom completed the job on the spot with NO surprises.  Left my home clean with a brand new functioning Water Heater.  The office followed up with delivery of the permit last week.  The inspector arrived today to sign off on the permit, saying beautiful job.  What more can a customer ask for!  Thanks West End Plumbing.  Thanks Yelp for your help in finding a reputable Company.  This Customer is very satisfied.

We just moved to a new house and have a lot of items on our list.
They were fast to respond and send a Technician, however this guy was all about selling, not about helping and identifying the issues.
When asked to replace shower trims, his response was can only replace the whole systems $$$$, when asked to check garbage disposal, his answer is they only replace to new ones, a quick check by my wife found plastic stuck inside and no need to replace, when asked to check a clogged toilet he was upselling various services instead of going out to check and find out that the septic is full and all his suggestions are not needed.

First time customer & we'll definitely call again next time we need plumbing services. Excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable. We had toilet parts replaced and repaired.

I had an issue with my tub faucet and called West End Plumbing.  The customer service was outstanding and the technician, Ted, was excellent!  I have old style cold/hot valves which are no longer made, but West End was able to temporarily fix the problem until I am finically able to repair the problem correctly.  Most companies would leave you with a problem (which I could only fix by turning of the entire house) but West End went out of their way to help me get water back into the house!!  I will most certainly call them to replace the fixture properly.  The manager, Adam, even refined my $95 service fee and gave me a very reasonable quote for the future repair!

They are responsive and had a same day service option. The techs reeked of cigarette smoke and smelled up my home.  Didn't wear shoe coverings in the house (should be mandated working in the plumbing industry.  Did their billing on my kitchen counters without asking.  Gross.

I am the Mom with Cancer as referred to in Meagan's post and Adam's response.  I have been next to my daughter everyday the past few months as she is my caregiver. I can attest to the fact that Adam did lie about the calls.  In September, the issue was the washer (and continues to be) at the rental property.  When Adam called from his cell phone, my daughter made it clear that the issue started at the washer, not the bathrooms. He said he would check all.  It was a rainy day and they had to postpone.  They never checked the washer.  I was also one of the people that spoke to the service tech who said he did clean out the washer - when indeed, he did not. Further to this, I am appalled at Adam's response today.  My daughter had him on speaker phone and rather than try to solve a customer's issue, he was more concerned with a negative review.  He has lost our business, our trust, and to be honest - all respect.

After hours of research about electric tankless water heaters, I ran to yelp in the hopes I finding a plumber who could do the job. I came across West End Plumbing who had great reviews! After reaching out to them Adam called me and taught me more about water heaters in 15 mins then I learned watching hours of YouTube videos. He was full of great information and spent 15mins going over my best options. As a new homeowner it's scary having to shop around without being scammed or sold something you don't really need. Adam was honest about pricing and I really appreciate his honesty and for that reason alone you have a lifetime customer!

My name is Marty Raff and I have been using West End Plumbing for over 10 years and I must say that I think the plumbers they sent to my house in Broward County are all top notch. I'm almost 80 years of age and the plumbers all are courteous and respectful of my age.

The last visit was a plumber named Johnny on Friday, Feb 22, 2019. I was afraid I had an expensive roots problem but Johnny was honest & fixed my toilet at a reasonable cost.

I asked him about the man who I first started with at West End named Pete who is the reason I continue with West End Plumbing. Not to my surprise, Johnny told me Pete is a Manager.

I have never taken the time to say anything about any vendor who came to my house before, but this company is exceptional. I started with them when they were a small company, but now I see them advertising all the time on tv.  I guess they only hire & train the best people.

I'm certain there are hundreds of other satisfied customers which were influential in West End Plumbing becoming as successful as they must be.

I've used West End twice and have always exceeded my expectations. I called them to replace my kitchen faucet and ended up also replacing my water heater which was delivered to my house within 1/2 hour by another tech. Great service and professionalism.

We needed a big job done on short notice. Dads apartment had 2 showers and 2 sinks that needed work after years of neglect. Mario and his team helped us out, even guiding us through the process of getting the building to shut down their water so the work could be done, then installing shut off valves so as not to have this problem in the future. The next day he showed up with two helpers to make sure the work would be completed within the two-hour window the building gave us. Polite, professional pros. These guys did a great job at a very fair price. Very happy with their service.

Mike was very professional. He was very thorough with checking out the toilets and tub. Fixed the drain and gave some great tips. Will definitely use their company again. Showed up on time and called beforehand just as they said. Did an excellent job.

Alright, time to get the band back together! I called the team because we had two toilets that weren't refilling after a flush. Come to find out, they had to rebuild the insides. It's a Pro Flow toilet that had stopped working. I guess they are known for being a terrible brand.
Anyhow, the team came out, and got to work. They were done before I knew it.
Again, I highly recommend them. Also, they didn't break the bank. Still trusting this company for our future plumbing issues.

THIEVES. Call someone else.  249.00 to install a simple toilet kit that costs 19.95.  Oh, but they'll do it for 149.00 since I need other stuff done...PASS. 249.00 to install a simple kitchen faucet.  I won't even go in to the water heater debacle...Call someone else.

When my hot water heater started leaking I knew I needed a new one, so the hunt for a plumber began. I happily stumbled upon West End Plumbing and had it replaced quickly!

Everyone I interacted with starting from the weekend call center to Adam himself were all super helpful in walking me through the process, what was included in cost and estimated time of completion. Their price beat a bunch of local competitors by hundreds of dollars and installed a quality new tank in less than an hour when promised.

Called west end to verify if my house was connected to a septic tank close to the property.. I requested a camera inspection.

They sent someone out to take a look and he was able to make the determination without the need for the camera inspection... thereby saving me hundreds of dollars!

My mother awoke to a busted water supply line to her refrigerator and 3 inches of water on her kitchen floor. She tried calling a high-profile local AC and Plumbing company that constantly advertises; however, after two hours she still did not receive a return call. I found West End Plumbing who promptly answered my call and had a technician at her house within 45 minutes. Baltimore was the technician's name and he could not be more polite and professional if he tried. He was extremely courteous, explaining what needed to be done to resolve the problem. In addition, she had the shut-off valve and garbage disposal changed while he was here. The price was very reasonable, and he was a very clean worker. I would absolutely recommend this company and, in particular, Baltimore for any plumbing job that needs to be completed.

This is the third time that I've used this company. Please read my other reviews. I called in the PM for a non-emergency job. They were there the next AM. Service people who arrived were great. They had all the parts that I needed so there was no need for a return appt. Job was done quickly and clean. I am sold on this co. No need to ever look elsewhere.

There was a leak under my kitchen sink. I looked on YELP and found West End Plumbing which had almost all 5 stars. So I called West End Plumbing and made an appointment to fix the leak. On the morning of the appointment I noticed a leak in the master toilet. OMG!!!! Another leak.  So right before the technician was due to arrive I called West End Plumbing to alert them that I have another job for them. They were very courteous and said that was no problem.
Then Ted arrived. He was courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable. He looked at the 2 offenders and then gave me a choice regarding the toilet. He could rebuild it or I could get a brand new toilet. Well that was a no brainer and so I chose a new toilet with a high seat. Which is wonderful as I have a bad knee. In a relatively short period of time Ted was finished.
I am very happy with the job that was done.

Had a issue with a toilet leaking,called West End Plumbing spoke with one of the girls in the office who said she could have somebody out today. With in an hour Johnny showed up took care of all issues great customer service and workmanship. I highly recommend.

Needed to replace my fiberglass shower pan with a real shower pan with a real drain. The old drain just had a rubber gasket that failed from age. Too difficult to do myself, so I hired West End Plumbing. Tile man did great work.  Now I wish I did the whole shower to match. Lesson learned.

I also called them the next year to replace my Main Supply Valve. Ted did a good job and was very fast and efficient. Prices are average for plumbing I would say.

They were prompt and courteous . The problem was completely taken care of.

Fantastic company. I had my water heater replaced, it was done quickly and efficiently and I got a free whole home plumbing check as a customer courtesy. The whole home plumbing check was the best part, the gentleman was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I have used numerous plumbers in the area for various things and this is the first one that stood out and made me want to make them my go to plumber.

I went on yelp looking for a plumbing company an thank god I called the right place. My sink was not in working condition and Mike R. Came and got the job done! He was so nice and left the place clean. I will definitely use this company again. Thank you!

My water heater started leaking over night and leaked all over my garage floor by morning. I shopped around and got various estimates over the phone. Their price was a little more than I expected to pay (which is why I rated 4 stars) but the service was fast and efficient. I had a gentleman out to my home the same day, and the install took no more than two hours. Would definitely use these guys again!

WORST Customer service . Don't waste your money . Technician was nice & tried to help but as soon as he left the problem happened again. So I paid $95 for nothing. The person who claims to be the manager, Mindy is rude and not helpful at all. Try 4 Star or paradise  plumbing! They're great.

I had an issue with toilet not stable came of it's base and another issue with faucet sink. Toilet was taken care of same day following day they came and replaced the faucet. By they way they did come out same day service we like that. Thank you West End Plumbing we will definitely use you guys again if something comes up.

I had reached out to West End for a repair to the water main in front of my house.  They responded within the hour, and completed the repair quickly and efficiently.  They took the time to explain every step of the repair, and stayed to ensure that the repair would hold.  And I got a fair price and a two year warranty.  Thank you, West End.  Job well done.

Absolutely professional job. I had Gary Brown at my house and he was efficient, skilled and even provided good conversation while he was working. Changed out my water heater in an hour and fixed all the stuff the last person bungled. I recommend West End plumbing to anyone that needs a good reliable plumber.

I called West End Plumbing to have them install a new hybrid heat pump water heater. They were better on the pricing than some of the competitors, and the owner, Adam, spent a great deal of time talking with me on the phone before hand. He also helped me understand why a larger unit was more beneficial and even called the manufacturer to verify some of the specs. He was easy to deal with and fair on the price. I scheduled the install and the team showed up on time. This was an expensive product and I wanted to make sure it was all done right. They helped with the permits but I filed them myself. The team came out and did a really nice job. Michael was the senior tech that led the install. Their work was excellent and he made it look very easy. Michael was great to work with. He was efficient and cleaned up everything when he was finished. He made sure the unit was programmed and I was able to connect to the app on my phone. When the city inspector came, he had a very minor nit about a bracket, and even though the inspector passed the project, Adam scheduled another team to come out and adjust the bracket. Very minimal change but it shows what type of company this is. He wanted it right and could have said no because it passed inspection. So bravo to Adam, Michael and the West End Plumbing team. I've since recommended them to a neighbor who had a major pipe leak.

Reached out to West End and explained that I needed to replace my water heater and details around it. They provided a quote over the phone and followed up with the written quote over email. We scheduled for the following day. The installer, Mike, was courteous and patient in answering my questions. He did a great job in installing the new water heater following code specs which is important to me as I want them to pull the permit with the city and clear an existing code violation I inherited from the previous home owner. Certainly will want to do business with them in the future.

First hired them for toilet repairs and shower replacement about a year ago. Great service the first time so when the sink started to leak I called again. Almost immediate response to my request for an appointment. Excellent communication, prompt (was given a window of 10-1 and he arrived closer to 10), professional, friendly and reasonable. Would definitely hire them again and again.

I recommend this company as i needed someone reliable ASAP as my mothers kitchen and bathroom pipes in my FL apt burst and was leaking. They showed up the same day looked at the problem and fixed it on the spot and also called me with the estimate prior to doing the job. Thanks!!

I called West End plumbing because the toilet was leaking.  Plumber came a few hours later.  The guy looked at it and told me it needed a repair.  I questioned the price, so he called his office. Adam, the owner got on the phone with me, explained the process of the repair and asked if I had a coupon.  I did not, although I have seen them before. Who hangs on to them?  He applied the coupon and adjusted the pricing.  The work was done right away!  I never know who to trust, but West End Plumbing did the right thing.

BEST company I have used.  Customer service is 5 Star.  They are professional and knowledgeable.  Highly recommend for all plumbing needs.

Yesterday I noticed water collecting in the metal pan under the hot water heater. It's supposed to be dry. I really thought I was hallucinating - in November we had a house flood and it destroyed walls, cabinets and floors. So I just didn't think it was possible that we'd have yet another leak.

Looking closely at the bottom of the tank, we saw rust where the tank cylinder and end cap meet. I called West End to report the problem and they said we were years past the 1 year parts/labor warranty but we might want to call the manufacturer. I did and Rheem issued a return authorization number while I was on the phone with them. THAT is service!

The rep said I could go to any authorized Rheem distributor/installer but I told her that I'm going to use West End. They've installed 4 bathroom faucet sets, 1 kitchen faucet/sprayer, 1 hot water heater and a toilet in my house. I know I can trust them to replace the unit.

Then I called West End and got an appointment - not only the same day, but within the hour!  When Pete arrived, he explained that Rheem is replacing the tank completely but I'm responsible for West End's parts/labor/return fees. It came to $495 - but for another $75 they will restart the warranty clock - both the 1 year parts/labor warranty and the 6 year overall warranty. You know I went for it...

So, the 'drama' of the hot water heater leak was a one day event. Here's what I learned:

We shut off the circuit breaker to the hot water heater and turned the handle on the top of the heater to stop the flow.

I took pics of the label on the hot water heater so I could provide the serial number and model number to the manufacturer rep.

Rheem had us check the insulation under the two metal panels on the side of the heater to find out if it was wet or dry. You'll want a Phillips screwdriver near!

If you don't mind the hot water being redirected away from you and towards whatever else is consuming hot water, get a tankless. If having your shower go from hot to cold bothers you, unless you can prevent someone from doing laundry or the
dishes, you should not get a tankless. I got a tank. I like hot showers - beginning to end!

I loved how Carla and Randi took care of me on the phone and how Pete was professional, clean, friendly and fast in replacing the unit. I'm happy. Onward we go!

Excellent service from Michael W. Was careful. Protected the floors of the condo and made sure the new water heater was going to fit before doing anything.

Water heater quit. Several options offered and discussed. Same day replacement. Workers knowledgeable and the work was completed in the time stated.

Quoted $2500 for a repair that another company took care for $100.  This is my families second time using them and we will never call them again.  Had a polybutelene pipe break a few years ago and it flooded the house.  They took a sledgehammer to the wall and broke a hole big enough to put a car through.  The pipe was repaired in minutes with under $1 in parts.  The guy had the nerve to charge $500 and called it precision pipe repairs on the invoice.  It was another $500 to hire someone to fix the drywall.

I have used these guys twice to help clear out a drain line, once at 3:00 am the day before I left on vacation. They are prompt and offer pretty fair prices. The office/dispatch is great and both guys that came out to the house knew their stuff. You may get better pricing elsewhere but I was happy to pay for the expertise and quick response.
