South End Plumbing

I have used South End on and off over the years. Their crew will take advantage of your lack of plumbing knowledge and charge big time. So what if it doesn't actually fix the problem, you will not got customer service from them. Ever. The owner  is a grumpy old man who clearly disdains us mere mortals. Use someone else if you want the job fixed.

As my day deteriorated into a bad day, I went out to check my well pump, as it was giving me an ongoing issue; however, on this day a brushed against my well's bladder system and broke a hidden PVC pipe. My day just got worse. I had a million important things to do today, and now this was going to be on top of my to do list now.

I called South End Plumbing and right away some of my stress was alived. There service personnel was professional, understandable and nice. They said it wouldn't be a problem and would send someone out, and if I had other things to do, they could take care of it without me being there. I liked them already

Two hours later I got a call from the plumber, he said it wasn't as bad as it looked. He replaced the broken bladder part, fixed the pump, and just cleaned the area up. I asked him if i needed to replace the pump, thinking that he of course would say yes, he actually said no.

When I got home there was a bill at my door for $175.00, way, way less then what I anticipated. I then started thinking, am I in Miami, a guy comes over my house while I'm not there, fixes the problem, and leaves a paltry bill. For a bad day that I had today, South End became my silver lining!

Great customer service from when you call them and when they ring your door bell. They repaired my plumbing fast and efficient. They explained everything from the tools and repair methods they were using. Prices seemed fair for the job.

This is the second time I have used Southend Plumbing and they knocked it out of the park again! Terri the owner's daughter answered the phone and is so polite and genuine in scheduling your appointment. Tyler her son responded and was on time, polite, knowledgeable and professional. He expeditiously fixed the problem and provided instructions on the product he installed. This is a 5 Star Company and i HIGH RECOMMEND THEM. Thank you again Southend Plumbing for making a bad situation better in a timely manner.

So I had a problem with an upstairs toilet that occasionally leaked and I had to shut off water to it.  Other plumbers looked at it and said they couldn't find the leak and left, charging me for a house call.  A plumbing firm that the family had used for decades forgot about me after I had scheduled an appointment with them and when I called, said they were booked up and couldn't come out.  When I asked for a recommendation, they said South End Plumbing.  I'm so happy they did. I couldn't ask for better service.  Joey came in and took extra care to ensure that by the time he left, there were no leaks.  Checked and replaced things upstairs and downstairs and left with a charge that was just a few bucks more than the 'house calls' I was charged for previously.  Needless to say, I have a new plumber I can rely on and will be my go-to plumbing firm for as long as I own my home.  Thanks South End!

We have used South End Plumbing for years.  They are the best whether for a small job (repairing a leaky toilet) or a big one (replumbing 4 bathrooms and the whole house.  Look no further.

Prompt follow up to phone call within minutes. Technician arrived and viewed my problem which was a cabinetry issue and not plumbing in bathroom. No hassle very friendly and professional. I would call them again when needed. Thanks

Can't say enough good words abut these folks. I have used their services twice already. They have a fast response, are able to pinpoint the root causes and fix the problem accordingly. Tom and his crew are very knowledgeable, and they have specialized people to certain tasks. Really well run. They are very honest and pricing is good/fair.

I have used South end plumbing for many years.  They are courteous, efficient and do great work.  They do charge $116 for the first hour and $58 for each additional hour.   So the only mystery would be the cost of the parts.  They have always been very reasonable.  They don't waste time; they get the job done quickly.

We moved here after Hurricane Andrew, and have used this company many times before I ever heard of Yelp.  I'm now glad to add my review to the other 5 star reviews:

The technician who helped us yesterday was Joey, but all of them are professionals who know their work well.  Pricing is fair, job done right, and they come when promised.  You'll be told whether it'll be morning or afternoon, and they'll give you a call before arrival.

Since most of the reviews are good, I choose to disregard the one negative one, although I'm sorry that person had a bad experience.  And I would like to meet the grumpy old man for myself so that I can form my own opinion.  :)

I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of this business. The service was prompt and the work was excellent. Very reasonable charge for the repair. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and personable. The plumber resisted the opportunity to upsell us on several other repairs that he didn't feel were serious enough to warrant the cost.

Great, quick service. Fair prices and very professional.  Highly recommend them, I will use them again for any future plumbing needs.

Absolutely amazing company! I was greeted on the phone in a courteous manner and they told me someone would be coming out within the next few hours and that I would receive a phone call before they arrived. Usually I cringe when I hear this because I don't get a phone call or they show up at a random time. Not the case here- I received a call an hour later and within 20 minutes the plumber had arrived.

Richard was phenomenal. I hope if I ever need help again I can specifically request him. I mean just a first class all around great guy. Very personable and knowledgeable about what he was doing. I immediately felt reassured that he would find out what the problem was and he was so helpful. He also replaced a pipe that desperately needed it on site at that very moment which had actually been wrongly placed by the contractor years before.  I didn't have to make another appointment, which was great. Everything about this company was fantastic and convenient. The price was reasonable for the high quality of customer service and the work performed. I would 100% recommend this company to everyone!

I love South End plumbing! We've been using them for almost 20 years! We used to live in a townhouse and our landlords used them. They always came immediately and did a great job. So, once we bought our own house we continued to use them. They are very honest. They always give a very fair price. They are good people who care about their customers. I've never had an issue with any of the work they've done. I would recommend them to anyone.
