Extremely informative, skillful, and thorough. I am actually in awe of how he found the mysterious slab leak under our sprawling ranch so quickly. In the end (and within the time given for the basic charge), he pinpointed the leak to the EXACT spot. Josue Valdez with Leak Doctor saved us a ton with his efficiency and skills.

I have used this company several times and even recommended them.

This time they said the leak was in the concrete slab and marked it with a x.  The plumber brought in a jack hammer to do the job but the leak was not in the floor.  It turned out the leak was in the wall.

I sent a photo to the company and asked for a refund if $100 as this was the cost associated with the miss.  I had paid them 350.   The manager called me back and said that they only need to be within 18 inches.   This was never told to me on any of the other jobs.  They said no refund.

Big difference between under a slab and in a wall.

This is not good customer service considering I have used you 4 previous times.   Be fair with your customers.

On June 3rd, at the recommendation of my plumber, I contacted Leak Doctor.  I can't say enough great things about David Delgado!  I made the call at 8:23am and by 9:40am David was here.  He was very thorough in detecting the hot water slab leak I had.  The leak was EXACTLY where he marked it to be.  He was very friendly and informative on my options.  David, thank you so much for the superior service!

I am aware there are good and bad experiences with any company, but our experience was not good at all with Leak Doctor.  Not only did the technician show up on the wrong day, but he had an attitude because I was unable to let him proceed due to my work schedule.  When the technician did return, my encounter with him was not very pleasant.  Oncee the work was completed, we still continued to have a leak in our pool.  Furtthermore, we did not receive any information on where the leak was or how to fix it.  I called and asked for someone to come back out and find where the pool was leeaking.  Once the second visit was complete, we had a couple of weeks where it rained, thus making it difficult to determine if we were still losing water.  Once the rained stopped, we were able to determine that we still had a leak.  I called Leak Doctor and spoke with Jennifer, who informed me that they would go back out, but they would have to charge me.  Now, if the work provided did not stop the leak, why in the world would I have to pay again?  I was told I was past my 30 days.  We will never use this company again!  I hope your experience was not as bad as ours.  Please let this post warn future customers as to their inability and desire to treat the customer right!  So sad.....

Update:  A month a go Leak Doctor said they would come back out and check for leaks again, as we were remocing more water than before.  When we returned homw our waterfall was not working so I called to determine why, I was told by the rude receptionist that it was broken.  There was nothing at all wrong with the waterfall.  Save your money and xll someone who knows what they are doing.  Worst experience ever!

Called the Leak Doctor after much hesitation.  Asked for their rate and hesitated again.  After having to fill our pool every other day for almost the last year, my husband and I decided it was worth it.  Their service tech came out the next day while I was at work.  He called me and explained the problem.  I was very relieved to finally know that the leak wasn't anything drastic!  The return pipe by the pool pump was leaking.  He told me he checked everything else out around the pool and it was all fine.  Haven't had to fill the pool for over a week now!!  Thank you Leak Doctor.  Well worth it!

I found a puddle of water on Sunday. Called Leak doctor on Sunday late afternoon. Steve came out on Monday, located the leak within 30 minutes.
He returned the next day and had to jackhammer the tiles(very tidily) and it was EXACTLY where he said it was. It took all of two hours to do a complicated job around  a kitchen island. Before he sealed up the hole he showed me everything and showed me that the outside water dial was no longer spinning. Very thorough and respectful of the fact that I was female and not 'in the know ' of all the plumbing works etc.
Steve was mannerly, informative, offered exemplary service, cleaned up after himself and overall an absolute great guy = Brilliant
If there were 10 stars I would mark all of them.
I HIGHLY recommend Leak Doctors. For the price the charge it totally matches the service they give.

Leak doctor! Well  I called on a Saturday morning and spoke to someone that took my name and telephone number and was advised somebody would call me back that day regarding a flood in my home. Nobody called in 6 hours so I called back.  I advised that I had called early that morning and that nobody called.  They took my name and number again a assured me that someong would call me asap.  Two days later no call.  So I called the office again and explained that in four days nobody called at all. The girl asked if I would like a call back and I said I would never use them, ever.  So the bottom line is that yea they have a great show on radio promoting themselves but they do not live up to their claims.  Very cavileer and an I dont care attitude.  If I could have given them a lower score I would have.

Needless  to say, I got a plumber out that day that was actually eager to do their job!

Unfortunately (for me) I had a bad experience with this company.  After finding a puddle in my kitchen and no obvious source of the leak I was left to assume that I had a pipe leak, perhaps under my slab of my 19 year old house.  I called them on a Thursday early afternoon and was told the soonest they could come was the following Monday, at a price of $325 to locate the leak (not to fix, just to find it.  More costs to fix depending on what they find). Ever wonder what it's like having to turn your water on/off at the valve on the outside of the house all day long to use the bathroom, shower, laundry for 4 days?  Shame on me for not moving on to the next leak detection company.  So Monday finally arrived and a crew of 2 (David and Henry) brought in their specialized electronic leak detection equipment.  Great, we're going to find this in no time!  They fiddled and diddled for about 90 minutes before indicating he'd found it (David that is, Henry was a trainee).  David indicated that it would be another $600-800 (on top of the $325) since they had to go through the floor to reach the leak.  What are you going to do?  I authorized.  Henry then proceeded to jackhammer a hole through my tile floor, through the concrete slab and open up a 2' deep hole in my kitchen.  Wet sand.  Wow I thought, they found it for sure.  Well, not so fast.  20 minutes later and totally frustrated at not being able to locate the leak (I'm assuming all the electronic listening equipment zeroed in on the exact location right?) David goes outside and gets on his phone.  About 15 minutes later another tech (George) showed up and in less than 5 minutes he found leak, and surprise, surprise, it was NOT under the slab!  There was a microscopic pin hole leak in the water/ice line going to my refrigerator.  The leak was almost like a mist and it was hitting the side of the base kitchen cabinet and running straight down the cabinet wall and going under the cabinets where there was not tile, where it pooled until it finally overflowed over the depth of the tile.  This leak was so slight, even the water meter was not moving.  It took days for the water to accumulate enough to be noticeable. Even stranger, I actually pulled out the refrigerator and looked behind before calling them and didn't see a thing.  Gosh, everybody happy now.  George gets a pat on the back and leaves.  The other two start filling in the hole in my floor, then pouring in new concrete to seal it. Nothing left but 7 missing/damaged 18x18 tiles and exposed concrete.  Now comes time for the bill. Oh quickly, we know that Henry was a new hire trainee.  David told me he was actually an office manager a few weeks ago.  So I got the B Team that didn't have a clue what the hell they were doing and went fishing for a leak and jackhammered an unnecessary hole through my floor.  Anyway, the bill.  David got his tablet out and asked if I was paying by cash, check or charge.  I asked, well, how much is the bill?  I guess they figured out that they really screwed this up because without batting an eye, he said. Oh, just $325. (not the additional $600-$800 he mentioned earlier)  Well I thought about disputing that but then again, they actually did find the leak....  However, I wonder if I should bill them for a Tile guy that now has to come in a replace 7 tiles to cover the hole they didn't need to dig?   Quote and moral to the story:  Never let the B-Team do the work!

Dateline: December 29th, 2011...my living room.

While on Xmas break, enjoying the finest in daytime television--my relaxing morning turned to chaos in the blink of an eye.
OH SH*T! I heard my wife yell, while pointing toward our bedroom.

(Sidenote: you know that camera trick in the movies where, should an actor see something horrible/scary and the shot zooms in on their face while simultaneously zooming out on the background? That's exactly what happened for me)

About 2 inches of water was already resting on the dining room and bedroom floor as it continued to spill out of the master bath.
I didn't know what to do, so I called The Leak Doctor (in-laws recommended them). Fortunately they were able to come out almost immediately.
I was told that the flat fee for them to visit is 295 bucks. After Quinton (amazing technician) managed to diagnose and fix the problem he wrote up our bill.
He was working at my house for a good 3 hours so I was worried the labor fees added on would be tremendous--upon receipt of the bill I saw that he didn't tack on any surcharges to the flat rate.
I was pleasantly stunned.
He also mentioned that since we had laminate flooring, The Leak Doctor had a division that specialized in removing ruined floor boards and drying out the affected areas.
Miguel was called and came out that same night shortly after Quinton left.
Although it was a nightmare scenario...a true home disaster, the pros over there managed to make everything a-OK in less than 24 hours.
Obviously insurance claims need to be made to get us back to where we were before the water damage...but The Leak Doctor managed to take care of all our needs on the front end in a fast and courteous manner.
Very pleased!

We had a pipe bust in our walls which our regular plumber could not locate.  So, we called in Leak Doctor.  In addition to taking the time and care to locate the leak, the tech was able to access and repair it without ripping out our kitchen cabinets (which is what the insurance adjuster and other plumber thought we needed to do).  The tech was professional and friendly and showed up on time each day.  The office staff was also professional and easy to work with.  I was always able to speak to a person and, when needed, a manager, with no difficulty.  Additionally, the tech accidentally damaged our ceiling; however, he immediately acknowledged it and Leak Doctor promptly paid to have it repaired.  No questions, no hassles.  In fact, they followed up with me to ensure the repair work was completed.  I would recommend this company.

I wish I had never called them, so if I were you I wouldn't and I'll tell you why.

I had a major water leak outside my house coming from the main water line that goes into the house, so my plumber was not picking up his phone and I needed someone that day. I told the dispatcher I had a bad water leak and my yard was like a pond and she says we can schedule you tomorrow, I was like huh!?! I should have hung up the phone right then, she said we're fully booked today. So like an idiot, admittedly, I said well can you recommend someone else and she said Ace Plumbing. I call this place up and the guy warns me that they charge a lot more because they are a premium service, whatever the F that means! Let me preface this by saying my house if for sale and I don't live there and I have a potential buyer coming the next day so I need this done right now. So anyway, let me get to the point, he gives me a $722 estimate to fix a leak caused by a loose elbow joint, we're talking $5 in parts here. Because I was under duress and I because I already had to pay him $65 just to be there, I would have had to find another plumber on the weekend to make another service call not knowing how much they'll charge. So this review is for both The Leak Doctor for not coming to my rescue, then referring me to a company that I regret doing business with. Having said that, I am confident in the repair but the cost is OUTRAGEOUS. If I weren't under so much pressure at the time I would have sent him packing, but I needed it done that day. The tech was nice but kept giving me a sales pitch comparing them to being Cadillac vs Chevy, it's just not the same service or car or some kind of BS like that. So F the Leak Doctor and F Ace Plumbing, Electrical, AC, and whatever else they do...they probably do pavers too, who knows! Today was one HUGE mistake I wish I had a time machine I could take it all back. But the bottom line here is to avoid these two companies....I cannot stress that enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update: I got a call from Leak Doctor's supervisor and she lit me up, telling me Leak Doctor doesn't deserve a one star rating because they didn't do the work, which is precise. If they had done the work maybe this review wouldn't be here. She said she was trying to help me by giving me a referral to a business that could help me, and she said at least I gave you a number to a company..., I said I wish you hadn't because they cost me $700 for an hours labor.

I admittedly made the mistake by agreeing to all of this, but she is missing the point that when you give a referral it should be to a company that has a high feedback rating on Yelp, Angie's List, etc. When you do a Google search on Ace Plumbing, Electrical, and AC you will find a vast majority of one star reviews like mine. I got a lecture saying that I don't know how my reviews affects peoples lives and so on, if you don't want a poor review then offer service at reasonable prices or refer potential clients you can't service to one's that are hold those standards. She kept telling me she nor LD has nothing to do with ACE, but she does if she's referring me to them. IF Leak Doctor wants to refer clients to HELP people then they should know who they are using as referrals, that's the gist of the entire situation. If anyone wants to try Leak Doctor or Ace go ahead, I hope you have a great experience and write a review refuting what I am telling you.

I am not trying to hurt anyone's business, but if this isn't what Yelp or Angie's List, social media in general is used for then what's the purpose of having this site or others like it. Do you think I want to waste my time explaining all this?

Called these guys to find a bad leak.  After 45 mins of looking the technician says the leak is very close to my water meter and marked the spot.  3 days later, a hole forms in my yard, 130 feet and 9 inches from where the technician marked.  Now, I understand there is a margin of error, but 130 feet? I called asking if there was an kind of concession they could do for being so far off....a 10% off my next leak?....or $5 off for being so far off?  NOTHING!!  What a horrible customer service policy. I've been dealing with customer service for 26 years and I would never treat a customer like this.

On several occasions in the past 20+ years we have had to call the Leak Doctor for different issues in the homes we have owned in the Orlando area. Once it was for a pool leak. Another time was for pipe fractures in the dry wall. In all, we have probably used them about 5 - 6 times over the last two decades. In all cases, the Leak Doctor professionals were friendly, very reasonable as to cost, speedy and always left a very clean job site. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Dave with Leak Dr was friendly & professional and found my issue in minutes. There was a small hole in the seem of our stucco that I never would have thought was the issue. He sprayed a garden hose at it and sure enough water came in. This was a HUGE relief because we were starting to think it was something much worse and much more expensive. Since they charge a flat rate and really aren't doing the work to fix the issue I felt assured they weren't trying to up charge me or make me feel like it was something worse then it was for the extra business. They found the issue and gave us specific steps to correct it. I will use them in the future for any water issue. Highly recommend.

We have been charged more that 300 dollars, they went around the house for 5 minutes!!!! and told they found the leek, we paid to fix it and we just found out there is another leek that not was found the first time, we call them again and ask for help as we just call a few days ago and hope we can at least have some discount, but NO no discount, no help no nothing, I just need to pay another 300/400 !!!! And if there is another leak no detected the second time it will be another 300/400!!!! Stay away from this company!!!

Leak Doctor helped us big time and they were professional, courteous, and helpful throughout.
They helped us find an old leak that'd been ongoing for so many years, we were accustomed to paying it.  Water bill should drop by more than half!!  Thanks Leak Doctor!!!  AAA+++
