They came the same day I called. The service man named or called Baltimore was awesome . Will def use them next time I need a plumber!
If I could give zero stars I would. The plumber was horrible at communicating. With an accent and a mask on his face the whole time I could not understand anything he said. Then his report was unlegible and when the people in the office transcribed it the grammar was so awful I still cannot understand it. $450 dollars I paid and I have no idea what was discovered at the inspection. I feel completely ripped off.
I have used Joe Hillman Plumbers several times over the last few years. They have replaced a leaking kitchen faucet, a bad garbage disposal, and fixed a toilet leak that affected my neighbor. And they just now replaced my 13-year-old water heater. Each time they were prompt, efficient and clean. And they put down boxes and towels to protect my floors. There are a lot of plumbers out there, but Joe Hillman Plumbers is the best. I've been totally pleased with them.

Alex came on an emergency service call and brought Jay to help him. They found the source of a leak, which was very hard to find. The price was extremely fair for the work they did. I would recommend Joe Hillman Plumbers and Alex to everyone I know.
They were very nice and clean but I think the pricing is just way too high. I called them for a clogged kitchen sink. They put a snake down the main sewer line in my house even though the clog was just in my kitchen sink (charged me $325). Once they left I noticed that whatever they did loosened my garbage disposal from the sink. I called them back and they charged me another $135 to tighten the loose garbage disposal. So I paid total $460 to take car of a clog in my sink??? I would not recommend this company because of the high cost.
My 90 year old mothers toilet was not working Saturday afternoon. Not a problem for Hillman they got Robert out to her within an hour. He is kind knowledgeable and friendly. He needed to order a part and returned as soon as the part came in two days later.
Highly recommend
Had a hot water tank go, and called Joe Hillman as we had used them in the past, they are local (super close by) and been happy. The tech was nice enough, but unprepared, as we had advised the office when we called that we did not have a replacement on site, that we needed a new tank & installation. He seemed surprised we did not have a new tank at the home, and a bit irritated, but went to Home Depot and got the new tank. Never would I have expected to pay $1500 for a procurement and install of a hot water tank (apartment size, not full size) and to boot no detailed invoice was sent, the fee was just charged to my CC. Yes the install was completed to satisfaction, but the bill was crazy. Then when asked for an invoice, we received just a one line bill of $1500. We called many times to get a detailed invoice, and was told that the contracted techs only drop off details on Wednesdays, so we waited, still nothing. Several attempts later, still no explanation of why it cost $1500 for this job. In the end there was nothing we could do, as we had to give our CC to even get the tech out, but needless to say we will not use them again. Transparency & communication is so important.

It was the weekend from hell when my toilet flooded, backed up into the bathtub, and my A/C went out...all happening on a Saturday no doubt. I called around and searched Yelp. I found Joe Hillman plumbers. They were very responsive to my request. They sent Alex out to assess the damage; he found that whoever installed the pipe under the toilet did it wrong (too close to the wall). Therefore, Alex had to return to do basically an all day job (i.e., break out the floor, remove old pipe, install a new one correctly, and replace toilet. But, the toilet couldn't be replaced until I found a tile/floor company to reinstall the tiles so the toilet cut be set back in place. This was a very stressful and expensive job, but I felt confident after talking to the ladies in the office. They were all very helpful with the scheduling. They explained what their role was in completing the job and what I had to do to get the toilet installed after the repiping job was complete. Alex sent me pictures of the work before and after. This is a good company and I can tell they conduct their business efficiently. I was satisfied with the work.

Brian came right on time and did a fantastic job. He removed a cracked vessel sink and replaced it with the new one I had ordered. He left leaving a clean work area and was very pleasent.
However I am very unhappy by their billing practise. I was informed about a $59.00 charge for someone to come out. It seemed very fair, if I did not hire them. I did hire Brian and paid for the work although I thought it expensive,
and was still billed for the $59.00.
I would not complain about that charge if I did not use their serivce but since I did they should have subtracted that amount from the bill.
Brian was very professional! Super polite and worked with me and my landlord to make my experience pleasant despite the issue I had with my shower faucets! Highly recommend!
Great job! Efficient, clean, nice representation of Hillman Plumbing. Ask for Tony.
Beware!! They do not send master plumbers for $150. They send unlicensed technicians that work under the supervision of a master plumber. That being said, I hired Joe Hillman to install a Kohler hydrorail rain shower head. Their first technician showed up and said it couldn't done because this type of shower head needs to be installed during construction. This is clearly not true because this product is marketed by Kohler as something that can be installed without going behind the wall. The slogan: Refresh your shower without going behind the wall. They sent another guy and I provided a video of the installation from youtube for the new tech. He spent about about two hours figuring out how to assemble the unit and drill the necessary holes. After trying unsuccessfully with his bits, he realized he did not have the proper drill bits to go through porcelain tile. He left and spent two hours looking for the correct drill-bits. He did not charge me for the time taken to buy the drill bits. He returned and was able to complete the job in another hour and a half. This install took the better part of a whole workday and cost $600. I would not recommend hiring this company to do anything involving bathroom renovations. Based on the two techs I dealt with, I don't believe they have a lot of experience in this domain.

Kitchen sink clogged. Hillman plumbers cleared it. Service is too pricey tho. Could have had it done for just over half of what I paid

We have an issue where our plumbing is getting affected by roots under the ground and in February 2017 I had a plumbing company come out and clear my main line. In March 2019, we began experiencing the same plumbing issue in the house and I couldn't get in touch with the original company that cleared it in 2017. I called Joe Hillman plumbers and they came out and cleared the main line. This past Saturday, April 7th - less than 4 weeks later I'm having the same issue again. I contacted Joe Hillman and they don't guarantee any of their work and would not come out for anything less than full price - which I found to be expensive when I had them do the work in March. They charged me $470 for what I paid $350 for with the 2017 plumbing company, including the emergency fee. I told them something isn't right when I'm experiencing the same issue less than 4 weeks later when previously it took over 2 years before needing the service again. They basically said no, sorry, can't help you, pay me again. I called the original company and thankfully was able to get in touch this time and they cleared it for $189 as it wasn't during emergency hours this time.
I definitely do not suggest using them. They'll overcharge you and won't stand by their work. Not to mention when I spoke to the rep, she mentioned she had another client that snaked her line with them and two weeks later had the same issue again! It seems to me it's the work and not the pipes.... but they don't want to hear that nor did they offer any kind of discounted price to return and correct what should've been done more thoroughly the first time.
Very happy with them as they were very responsive to my inquiry and I was able to get service at a convenient time. Matteo was very nice and professional. I would use them again

Great service, a little pricey but you pay for what you're getting. 59$ for tech to come out, $150 first hour not including parts needed to fix the issue. Willie was excellent , didn't waste time, and was thorough filling out the invoice. Betsy in the office was quick and efficient. Also, check Yelp or the website and be sure to mention any codes they may have for coupons.

Our master bathroom was being flooded because of a clog. Brian came by and was very polite and knowledgeable. He told me what the deal was and in less than an hour everything was unclogged and cleared. He was very punctual and neat.

My shower had a leak that was getting worse by the hour, it started after regular business hours. I called this company at 9:30pm, and they picked up! I got service in about an hour, and prompt next morning as well. I would definitely suggest this business for all plumbing needs! Great work guys!
JJ did a great job determining our problem and provides an explanation of the work to be done.
Quick response. Friendly service. Highly recommend. Roxanne was very pleasant to deal with. The plumber, Johnny Dubique, clearly explained the job he needed to do and provided a fair quote. Very pleased.
I am a property manager here in South Florida we needed a video inspection at one of our properties
They came out exactly as planned on time
With only little disruption to the customers they performed the video inspection and removed the blockage which was a root penetrating the pipe they also marked everything on the outside and told me where the penetration was I would definitely recommend them they are very efficient quiet and clean

Great communication. On time. Sent me a text & email with techs name & picture before he arrived. Followed up with a call after he left. Good workmanship.
I have used Joe Hillman Plumbers about 7 times now over the last few years. they have installed new water line from meter to house, installed new water line from meter to sprinkler, put in new sinks and faucets, Put in new faucets on the outside of my home. Fixed some toilets that continued to run and refill.
Everything they have done has been excellent. I send compliments to Tony and Kevin who have done the majority of this work.
I've read reviews on Angie's list that some people think they are expensive; i don;t know about that. Maybe you have to pay more for quality work. I just know with them I don't have to worry (and it keeps the wife happy!).
I called Joe Hillman Plumbers office today around 8:30 AM because I had a problem with a toilet, and I needed help as soon as possible. This is the first time I have used them. Stana Mercea, from the main office, answered the phone and she was very pleasant and courteous over the phone. She was able to schedule a technician the same day . Michael , the technician, arrived on time and he was able to fix my toilet problem in a timely manner. He was courteous and friendly too. Excellent customer service!
Great experience and highly recommended
Professional from the appointment phone call to the timely manner of the service. Bryan was masked, courteous, and honest. He pointed out other potential problems in the future that he fixed today. It is wonderful to know that businesses run the way they are supposed to.I highly recommend Joe Hillman Plumbing.

Very disappointing experience . Plumber came Friday to fix a noisy toilet, said he replaced a part but really just cleaned as we learned later. Called again and had another visit to fix same problem on Monday. Problem was fixed but we were charged again for labor even though it was on SAME problem which first guy did not fix! Complained to the office Monday afternoon and was told office mgr, Roxane, will call Tuesday morning. Did not hear anything so called back Wednesday afternoon only to be told Roxane has to review charges and get back to me Friday. So 5 days to resolve an issue with incompetence!

BEWARE!!! The $79 non-refundable estimate charge is simply a way to overcharge for their services when they show up and you then realize that you've already had a $79 charge on your credit card and you're not getting it back even if you do the work that they are overcharging you for. I hired them because they were able to come out right away to repair a 3/4 gas line running from a propane tank to the house that had been accidentally cut. When I called I specifically asked if they do gas line repairs. Yes we do them all the time I was told. I asked for a ballpark estimate and was told they can't do that even though I thoroughly explained to them what was done and what was needed. I was told about the $79 non-refundable service call charge just to get an estimate. Seemed ridiculous but I agreed. The tech did show up in the time frame I was promised. He promptly gave me a price of $550 to make the repair on top of the $79 already charged to my credit card so $629 total. I was floored. I had the same exact repair done by another reputable company for $180 total but unfortunately work in Palm Beach. When I questioned the price with someone in the office I was given a complete BS story about we don't compare our prices with other companies, we're a legitimate company, we've been in business for over 30 years, blah, blah, blah. The tech said the price was high because he had to go to two different places to get the parts. What? I assumed that since we do gas line repairs all the time and that I explained what needed to be done that they would have shown up with parts and most likely even stocked parts in the truck. Nope. The office tells me that ALL gas lines are different so it's difficult to stock the parts. The tech tells me the lines are all the same, it's a standard 3/4 yellow polyethylene gas line. So the explanation that the tech gives doesn't match what the office tells you. It makes me wonder if the office even relayed the information I gave them on what the repair was to the tech so that he could have the parts with him. I agreed to do the repair since I had already paid $79 for the estimate, which does not apply towards the work (since when is that a legitimate practice, always been applied to the work if you agree to the service) and I was anxious to get the repair done. The tech and a worker then left to go get the parts. They returned approximately 2 hours later with the part. That's one part, not two as I was told. From the time they got out of the van, made the repair and got back into the van it was less than 30 minutes. So $629 for 30 minutes of work. When I called the office to question the charge I was told I would get a call back from the office manager which I did get the next day. I explained the situation and got the same BS about how long they've been in business, etc. etc. All I asked for was an explanation of why such a high charge. I had the same repair done before for $180 and called around and got several quotes of around $250 for the same job. I told her I understand charging a premium for good service but double to more than triple what others are charging is not a premium, it is a SCAM. They've got you because you already paid $79 non-refundable to get an estimate. She said the job ticket the tech turned in showed over four hours of labor plus the part which the tech said was $100 (which was high as I Googled it and widely available for way less). So I said to her that I'm obviously paying for the tech and his assistant to drive around for over two hours to get the parts? No you're not she said, plus we don't charge for the assistant. Okay then. So using your math, the $79 is just for the estimate, $550 for the repair, less the $100 for the part (which I doubt it was), that's $450 for 30 minutes of work or $900 an hour for a tech. Really? How can you justify that? I don't care how long you've been in business. Since she knew I was really upset she asked what I thought would be fair? I thought about it and said $300 plus the $79 for the estimate, so $379 total. That's more than double what I paid for the same exact repair a year ago from a legitimate company (with higher YELP reviews by the way) but only in Palm Beach and $129 more than the average of the estimates I had gotten. Seemed fair to me. I'm a business person and wanted to be more than fair. She told me she would get back to me right away and that she was going to check the GPS on the tech to see how long he was there, etc. It's been over two weeks and haven't heard a peep from them. My credit card was charged the full amount. Look elsewhere for a plumber and look for a company that will credit the estimate fee towards the work if you use them. The non-refundable estimate charge is simply a way to overcharge you for their work. Bad business.
Alex was incredibly professional, helpful, timely, and he was a pleasure to work with! Alex is FANTASTIC! Thank you JOE HILLMAN PLUMBERS!
Very good service friendly and quick response. I give them a 3 star because of the pricey. I felt like they could of been a little more reasonable. Their is an in service fee before they see the issue and then a separate repair fee for any fixes made.
Besides that, they will fix your unit and do the best they can to fix it.
Went from a 6 inch sink to 10 inch sink. Needed to just change PVC piping. They came and wanted to.cut out my cabinet and redo all plumbing. Hours of work and material. I sent them away. Did it myself. I am 66 years old.

The technician was very courteous; he showed up an hour before the promised time. He called ahead to confirm it was OK. He took pictures of the clog to show us exactly what the blockage was. He was able to resolve the problem. Not cheap, but Joe Hillman Plumbers has always fixed the problem!
Reliable and professional good choice when you need professional service

I can't compliment these guys enough. Friday night, outside faucet breaks and water spraying everywhere. Brian shows up in less than an hour later, fixed everything in under an hour. Top notch service, super polite and very skilled. I'm a customer for life now.
Beware they will rip you off, the are way over charge. I would not recommend this company. I Had to call another plumber to unclog the drain they said was unclogged.
First time using this company and I was very happy with the work Baltimore did. I had an issue with my toilet and kitchen faucet leaking. Baltimore was very nice, courteous, meticulous, and professional. He explain the work that needed to be done and why. I am very happy with his work.
The only complaint I have, which is why this is not 5 stars, it would have been nice for them to tell me about their social media special of waving the $79 fee which was for first time customers.
Overall, Baltimore, the plumber was fantastic and I will use them again.
3/15/2018 - I am amending my review and rating to 5 Stars, after speaking with supervisor, Roxanne. Roxanne was very responsive when I mentioned the March Special for first time customer of waiving the $79 fee. She waived the fee without issue (no arguments or challenges) which made this an even more pleasant experience.
So, in addition to really great technicians, Joe Hillman has excellent customer service!

In choosing a plumber, the first issue is trust. This plumber shocked me by driving in such a dangerous and aggressive manner as to put my safety and the safety of others at risk -- all to save 5 minutes in reaching his destination. (Florida Plate CUZD42). If he would take such a callous approach to the safety of others just to save 5 minutes of driving time, I can just imagine what he would do to earn an extra $20 or $40.
Yaw was the best. He came around 5pm on a Sunday and left around 9:30pm. He helped us rectify my leak issue. Thank you Yaw!
You can get them to do work under the table and off of the clock bc all on drugs for cheaper, but it is trash work so ends up being more expensive
