Dons plumbing is real deal at great prices. Guy replaced a waterheater $400 or more below competition. He did a great job!!

My elderly folks used them to install a sink in their condo. They wanted the handle rotated 30 degrees from the way it was installed. They said it couldn't be done. I loosened one screw rotated it to desired position whole process took 45 seconds..... poor form!

I have called Don's plumbing multiple times for a range of leak issues at my home, and they have gone above and beyond with every visit. I recently had a leaking pipe in a wall immediately next to a grand piano, and other local plumbers were not willing to guarantee that they wouldn't damage the (irreplaceable) piano in completing the repair. I called Don's and explained my problem, and had a very helpful conversation on how to best proceed without having to risk moving the piano. Ted came to complete the repairs and was not only incredibly efficient and effective in completing the repair (with an undamaged piano alongside him), but was also super pleasant to work with as well-- and very conscientious of not leaving any mess behind. The overall cost was a fraction of what others had quoted and was completed very quickly, which has consistently been my experience with Don's Plumbing. So glad I can depend on them when I'm surprised with plumbing woes!

Wow. What else can I say? I just had an incredibly great experience with a plumber -- not something I ever expected to say, honestly. I got a call back a day after I called, and got an apology because they had taken a day off. Scott came out exactly when he said he would and did all of the work installing a new kitchen faucet, an under-sink water filter, and a garbage disposal all at a very reasonable price. He checked everything and cleaned everything up better than he found it. I even asked about some toilet issues (not part of the original request) and got that taken care of as well. Scott was incredibly nice, and welcomed my daughter watching him work. It almost felt like a family member was doing the the work. I would highly recommend Don's plumbing in a heartbeat, and will definitely use them again when I have the need.

Unfortunately, I cannot leave much of a review because they were a no-call, no-show for an appointment set two days in advance.  It is disappointing, but not surprising, how difficult it is to find plumbers available on weekends.  I chose their business both because of the convenience of their hours, and how good their reviews seemed to be.  When I talked to Guy on the phone, my first impression was great.  He seemed very professional.  

At fifteen minutes after our scheduled time, I left a message on their voicemail saying I was just making sure they were still coming.  By an hour and a half later, knowing their day was now over, I was leaving a second message to tell them I assumed they were not coming, and that I would contact another plumber.  I still have not gotten a reply call.  I understand that plumbers are very busy, and things come up, and I would have been forgiving if they had just communicated with me.  Luckily, at Adam's Plumbing, Dan returned my call within 20 minutes, and set a last minute appointment the same day!

The new owner Guy was good professional plumber, nice and helpful, reasonable prices. Do not waste your money and time on others!!

I have been acquainted with this company for 5 years. Scott is wonderful!  Professional, personable, and trustworthy. Does exceptional work for a reasonable price.  It is so amazing to find a company these days that is so diligent and sincere.  Thanks, Scott, I appreciate your work ethic!

Guy & his son, Guy,  are great to work with. They are professional, efficient & do the work right in the first visit. I live in a condo & many Residents have used their services with success.

Can't speak highly enough of dons plumbing. Called them this morning. Guy answered right away. Extremely nice! Came out same day. Fixed our clog and checked all the pipes inside and outside of the house. We have had a couple plumbers out over the past 10 years. Will never call anyone else!! Nice to have great customer service. Thank you!!

Seriously? I think these guys are the poster children for all plumbers, Lazy. I called them for service and they said they wouldn't even drive 2 miles from where they hang out on St Pete Beach. If they won't even make this small effort to make money and earn business I'd hate to see what kind of plumbing work they do. I'd pass on these guys. Or they may even pass on you when you call.

Sounds like Don is no longer with us yet his team is keeping the name in his honor.  I needed a new sink put in my condo and they did a great job.  Professional, kind and easy to accommodate.  They did such a great job that I had them help my 85 year old mother fix the filter in her sink along with a new faucet.  I highly recommend

I'm a single, working mom and not at all handy. When the pipe under my kitchen sink separated and began leaking, I initially tried to tighten and fix it myself and then had to leave it alone before making it worse. I found Don's Plumbing on here, great reviews, called in the morning to try to figure out a time I could leave work to come home to meet a plumber. The guy who answered the phone was super nice, asked what time I came home from work. I said around 5:30. The plumber was already at my house when I got home from work with my child, he came in, fixed the problem in about 15 minutes, then told me to have a great night and left. I ran outside to ask him if they were just going to mail me a bill or what. He said, Oh no, I'm not going to charge for this ... Call us when you have a real problem. I was floored. I will absolutely call them next time, plus I've already recommended them to everyone I know. Great people, great customer service!

What a joke of a company. Completely no showed on the first appointment, an hour late on the 3 hour window on the second appointment and then sent some guy here who had no clue what was going on and left. I'll never use them again and I highly recommend you don't call them.

This is a great local company! I highly recommend them! They answer their phone (most don't) , they arrive when they say they will, they have professional craftsmen and charge reasonable prices for their services. I wouldn't use any other plumbing service in the St Petersburg area of Florida.

Called Don's on a last minute job to fix the washer hookup in the garage of my sister's apt.  He came right away and had the problem fixed in less than an hour.  Amazing service and not bad charge for service.  I'd definitely call him again if I had any plumbing problems.  He was very nice and pleasant to work with.  5 star SERVICE!!  Thanks Don!

Called to fix my leaky shower that was old built in the 1950's.  Came right out to fix it.  He spent about  45 mins total including the time it took for him to drive to the store to pick up a special part.  Price was very reasonable for the fix at $115.  Any other plumbing problems I have had always cost $160 or more.  I will definitely call them again.

I have never felt more confident in a contractor in my life. Trustworthy, dependable, honest, timely, knowledgeable..fair. .I bought an old condo on St. Pete Beach..Upstairs lady had a leak causing me issues, which Scott repaired promptly. I had called them for myself to update 3 turn off valves, a pipe,, a toilet, 2 undersink lines. I called Friday &he was there Monday am & sent day repairing items. I headed back to Maryland with confidence & peace of mind & chestnuts :-)

I had a great experience with Don's Plumbing today. Called at 8:30 this morning with a badly leaking kitchen sink and by 9:15, Scott was here and in a matter of minutes, he determined the problem was the faucet. It took about an hour to get the parts to replace the faucet and by 11:30, I was doing dishes in my sink again! Can't recommend them enough!!

I called and they came for an estimate the same day.  It was for $495, and I hired them.  I didn't hear from them for a over a week. I left a couple of very nice messages.   I know plumbers must be busy. I finally got in touch with them and scheduled a date.  Guy called me on the day of the appointment and said the place he went to pick up the part had the wrong part. He was going to go to another place and look, but if he had to order it, he would let me know that afternoon. I have since called a couple of times. I was very nice. All I wanted was a status. Nothing. That was two weeks ago.  I guess if the job isn't $1000s of dollars, they can't be bothered.  Google, please come up with a review that has a zero or -1, -2, -3, -4, -5. I would give them a -5. I hired someone else.

I called at close to 11am and left a message. Got a call back 30 minutes later and they were over at my house by 3:30, exactly when they said they would be there. We had a shower cartridge replaced, they explained everything they did, and he made some recommendations for future usage. In and out in 30 minutes and both of them were very nice! Hoping they won't need to come back, but if needed they will definitely be the ones I call!

Don's Plumbing (Scott Reeves) has helped me on several occasions - - great service and great prices.  New disposal, sink drain work, new faucets and water filter installed, and new water heater installed (outstanding job because of the difficult location of the old water heater).  They deliver excellent service at a very fair price, as I have been a repeat customer.
