Jesse came to our house last minute to fix our backed up pipes and plumbing. He was INCREDIBLE, so kind, professional, and truly ethical. He did the job the right way the first time so that there wouldn't be issues moving forward. I would definitely recommend him for anything you need!

Jesse was quick to respond to an emergency service request, came prepared, and exceeded expectations. I cannot recommend enough.

Jesse was kind and professional on the phone, responsive on text, and kept us updated on his arrival time. He came out and provided a free estimate on a loud circulation pump.  We appreciated that he was thorough in his assessment and didn't try to quote us ridiculous prices to replace everything when it wasn't needed (note that a competitor plumbing company did just that).  I would recommend Jesse and this company to others!

I was a new homeowner when all drains clogged up in my house. Old Republic Insurance sent someone out to look at the problem. It was a joke! He wanted to refer me to others (for a kickback is what others speculated on YELP) and said he couldn't help me although I still had to pay the service fee. I called Jessie with SD Rooter immediately because he did work on the house for the previous owner. Jessie came to my home the very same day. Not only was he able to snake a drain to open a toilet to use, he didn't even charge me! It was obvious this guy knew his stuff. He started on my repairs right away. It was clear to him that there was a problem with the main line from the house to the street. Initially, he estimated it would take about two days to do the repairs by installing a double cleanout, hydro jet the lines, and resleeve the main pipe. He quoted me a price and proceeded with the work. But after he and his crew dug a trench down to the main pipe and evaluated the situation, they realized the situation was much more serious and involved. The job started on a Thursday and Jessie said they would work through the weekend if they needed to complete the job. He was true to his word and worked through the weekend; however, it took about 9 days for the job to be complete! They tried to shoot material into the line to resleeve it but the old cast Iron pipe was in such bad shape, they needed to replace it, so more excavating needed to be done. Jessie worked with me. Even though he gave me a price assuming the pipe would be resleeved, he stuck by his word and did not charge me more money even though it cost him a lot more money to replace the entire pipe. He also provided several free services for me: snaking my drains twice, running a cable and camera through lines, and he also looked at a different problem inside the house free. I had to work part of the time during the repair so Jessie was great about updating me. His crew were hard workers and professional. Because it was so hot, I provided water, drinks, and some food because they were so nice and were working so hard in the heat!! They were VERY appreciative. When they completed the job, their concrete work over the area of my driveway that was removed looked really good! They were also meticulous in cleaning up trash and debris and hauling it away. Jessie took care of me, and although he could have made more money doing this job, he stuck by his word and charged me less than what he would have normally charged. Jessie is honest. He'll tell you directly that he's not the cheapest and he's not the most expensive. He is very good and experienced and he knows what he's doing. I highly recommend this company.

I saw SD Rooter perform two major water line repairs at the Harbor Inn Suites in Oceanside this week while a guest.
They were very friendly and explained what they were doing and how. They finished late each day and made sure the job was done right!
If I lived around here; I'd definitely call SD Rooter to do the job!

Jesse with SD Rooter saved the day and did a great job with another plumber failed to show up for our main drain blockage problem. From the initial call for help, to completing the job they were great. Jesse was on-time, friendly and is a dog lover! ***warning*** do not do services with this company! he will over charge you for services that could be done for 3x's less! he manipulates customers by turning your work order into an emergency work duty for him, just so he could charge an extra $200!

I called several business and it was going to be several hours or the next day before anyone could come and see about about our leaking water heater .My water heater flooded my entire garage.I call SD Rooter and they came within 90 minutes.They we're very professional and through .I had to have a hose and my water pressure value replaced .It took a few hours to fix (while it was late in the evening)they completed the job this evening .Not only did they repair the water heater it late in the evening ,they cleaned up everything and gave us a very FAIR PRICE .We will be keeping them on speed dial .Awesome Job ! Jesse went beyond what was required.,to let us know  of other things that will be needed to be repaired  in the future They did an Amazing job cleaning up especially with all the water on the floor .(He completed the job at 9:45 pm at night just so we could have HOT water .HIGHLY RECOMMEND ..WILL KEEP THIS COMPANY ON SPEED DIAL...

Not only did this company do a great job , the customer service level was above and beyond my expectations. I will recommend all of my family & friends to SD Rooter. The owner was always prompt and explained every detail without me asking. Cleaned up all of the work area and made sure my family was completely satisfied before he left . I'm not easy to please and have had multiple problems with other plumbing companies but hands down this is the best company to go through .

Need a plumber with experience and  professional friendly personality? Call Jesse at SD Rooter Co. I was in the process of trying to fix a tub faucet leak with DIY videos and parts,  but the problem became bigger. I called Jesse on a Saturday and he immediately called me back to schedule an estimate/quote. Jesse assesed the problem and provided me with convenient dates and times to repair the leak, as well as recommendations based on his plumbing experience. I scheduled the repair the following day (Sunday 10am). Jesse completed the job using quality parts and upgraded the faucet valve with the new plumbing standard housing code. I'm happy with his service and I'll definitely recommend him for plumbing jobs.

Jesse is the guy you want to call when you need the job done right the first time.  What started with a backed up sewer line was revealed to be a much more serious problem.  Jesse diagnosed the issue, showed us proof of the issue with his camera, and provided us with three options for resolution. We opted for the most long-term solution, knowing out 65 year old cast iron sewer line was a disaster waiting to happen.  Jesse and his team completed a 10 day job in 4 days, cheaper than anyone else could have.  I hihgly recommend SD Rooter.

I want to give another shout out to Jesse. I have done a review for my own property and now he just helped me in a situation where I am renting. My landlord may be the most confrontational person I have ever met when it comes to services and Jesse, out of a favor, worked with him. Not only was he extremely patient (and I mean extremely) he also got the job done. I don't even bother getting secondary quotes with Jesse as he is not only a true professional but a fantastic plumber. Will give him my business no matter what plumbing incident comes my way. We called for a repair on Thursday June 21, 2018. There was a leak in our washer, so we called San Diego Rooter Company to come and repair the leak.   The leak was temporarily fixed as our washer is leaking again and the bathroom that is adjacent to the washer and dryer is now not working.

We gave it a few days to see if the leak would persist... It is Tuesday, June 26 a few minutes shy of the conversation that entailed the comment below and it is still leaking.

In turn, we placed another phone call to inform the repairman (who only provided a business card without his name on it) that the washer is still leaking and that our bathroom is not working only to be replied with You don't know what you're doing!! And then the same repairman hung up the phone.

With this being said, please read the reviews before you hire San Diego Rooter Company. At the very least this company and/or the repairman could have come back to check the leak and try to assess the problem to fix again. That's the very least he can do with a repair job that cost $325.00.

Also, check the other reviews posted on here. They serve no credit on their behalf as majority of the  Yelpers on here have but a single review- most likely fabricated from this business itself.

Jesse was prompt, highlighted what needed to be done and pointed out a couple of things I hadn't been aware of.  Also, he didn't just try to get me to replace everything with something new, but rather he listened to what I wanted to accomplish and helped me to do accomplish it if it was possible which it was.   He charged exactly what he quoted and he took care of my problem on the spot even though he had to go to 2 suppliers to find an unusual part my unit needed.  Highly recommend.

Kitchen and garage utility tub drains were blocked up good and tight. Went through Home Advisors and first call I got was from Jesse at SD Rooter.He came out this morning, on time, and did a great job of clearing the drains at the price he originally quoted. Didn't try to up sell me on something not necessary, was quick, thorough, and cleaned up when he was finished. Very satisfied with the job he did. Will most certainly call them again if problems crop up in the future.

With plumbers, one can be very skeptical, but I took a chance and called Jesse as we needed to get a camera in a sewer line of a commercial building and Jesse answered right away and was able to meet me at the property, do the camera work and suggest to hydro jet flush the sewer lines with water pressure to clean them.

He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and prices were very reasonable.  I would recommend and use Jesse any day.

After we tried two other advertising plumbing services (using compact snake wiring) to unclog our kitchen sink with no result. I need to call the expert in this business. Jesse (owner) went above and beyond to communicate with me ahead of time and on the day of the appointment as well. He and his staff came on time and brought in the professional grade 75 feet snake wiring machine to complete the unclogged task. Within an hour or so of work, we saw result and the sink is now usable. Jesse triple checked everything by himself to ensure no leaks on pipes. I am grateful that we are referred by my good friend Jorge to see him today. The cost of the job might be the high end but you pay what you get for professional work. I highly recommend this self employed family business. Thank you once again to you and your staff.

A pipe sprung a leak coming from my up stairs bathroom flooding water through the ceiling and into cupboards into the kitchen. In my desperate moment a friend recommended Jesse and I couldn't be more pleased and grateful. He showed up within 45 minutes and did the repair. It was an awkward fix, a copper pipe behind metal brackets and other pipes. He is a true Craftsman and artist. He  cut new copper and fixed it, got everything put back together in no time. I would highly recommend him. He is polite, professional, very kind And extremely capable . He can fix any plumbing problem and will do it right. And he did it for a very fair price! Tried replacing the valve on my Moen Shower but broke. Eddie came over looked at the problem and gave me a fair price and even threw in a new shower head and spout. His crew came over and were very professional and did quality work. They even caulked my sink for free because they truly care. Aside from that they are genuinely good, nice and honest people. SD ROOTER Co. was called to do plumbing at my residence. The worker was clean, quick, courteous, and highly professional. I would recommend using this local family owned business. If you want an expert repair or maintenance at a very reasonable price, this is the company to call.

A) Jesse was extremely polite and easy to talk to on the phone (B) he was clearly knowledgeable and had no problem spending ~5-10 min on the phone with me to explain his perception of what was needed (based on my description of my problem) (C) gave me a very reasonable price for an hour or two worth of work over the phone (D) communicated via text to confirm arrival timeframe later that day (E) showed up on time and continued to be courteous and easy to work with (F) looked at my exterior drain line blockage issue and explain what the most likely fix would be and held to his phone pricing (G) Jesse had all tools needed and got to work within 10 min of being at my house (H) completed the work in the timeframe expected and explained what he did to solve the problem. I would like to recommend SDROOTER247.com for any plumbing needs. I don't really ever do these review statements very often but my experience with the manager, Jesse was great! We had a water heater go out and needed a hot shower, a co-worker had used him and recommended him highly, he agreed to stop by on his way home and give us a quote. He really sold us on his knowledge and he ended up staying and doing the repairs and I got that hot shower! Great guy, easy going family man! He is our go-too guy, call him!

Spoke to a guy named Jesse, explained my situation, agreed to have him over with a camera to look inside of my pipes. Agreed to pay a flat fee for the service. Gave all information including pipe size, location of p-trap, etc. He showed up with no tools, no camera. All he did was looked at my drain telling me that his camera was too big to fit in. I would be ok with him just wasting my time and hiring someone else with the right equipment, but he charged me a full fee for the services, calling it an inspection! Do yourself a favor, stay away from this scam.

Jesse was great!! He was very responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We needed to replace our water regulator. When the price was a little higher than we hoped, he offered to replace our busted hose nozzle for free! We hope to never need a plumber again, but if we do, we will call Jesse for sure.

Needed to clean out a clogged pipe. Jesse was super responsive and readily available. He came out and walked me through his whole process step by step. I watched the work being done. He was super professional and just downright smart within his profession. I'd highly recommend him and his crew.

This team came in and took care of a slow draining toilet problem I had. Other plumbers were quoting me $1000 just to replace a toilet, Sd Rooter Co did it for less. On top of that a root problem was discovered this was going to be a more expensive fix I didn't have the extra money they let me know they would do what they can do and by the end result I was majorly impressed. 5 stars would recommend

We had a backed up kitchen sink. After having a couple of other estimates which offered pipe relining instead of new pipes, as well as wanting to rip open one of our kitchen walls & our inside flooring,  we decided to get one more estimate.

Jesse was able to give us a reasonable estimate for new pipes. He started right away and was finished when he said he would be. He also had good recommendations for how to avoid damage to our newly remodeled home.

This was our second time using Jesse's services.  A few years ago our toilet was backed up on New Years Eve. He was able to come out quickly then as well. He replaced our pipes from the house to the main sewer line.

Jesse is reliable and does quality work, I appreciate how well he communicated with us as well.

Jesse the plumber came out to my house and unclogged my bathtub drain. He pulled out a huge clump of hair from my daughter who has hair so long, passed her waist. He was very professional and was concerned for the future and found a strainer in his truck to help with catching hair before it goes down the drain. He also had to go buy some chemical to put down the drain and snake the drain and pulled out a little more. At the end of the day the drain is working once again......YAY! I would recommend him for clogged drains! THANKS Jesse!!!

I've had a great experience with this company.  They explained the issues and were able to replace my water heater and disposed of the old one within a few days.  I've not had any issues and will continue to use SD Rooter's services in the future.

This guys installed me a use water heater 2019 instead of 2022. I had a new plumber came in here and found out the issue.. this guy scammer beware dont go with this guy.

Claims flat rate charges me double, snakes a drain I don't ask for, charges me for the 1 that was clogged but was not successful; said he ran it 10', so I had to hire someone else the next day who got it unclogged at 4'. Not the level of integrity I prefer in a professional service. He did fix a p-trap although I was not allowed to buy it when I asked so presumably he up-charged me for that as well. Don't believe his BS.

So, got a quote after sending pictures. He made it seem like it was no big deal, and would only charge $99. So, I had to take the day off to wait....and wait...then I texted to see when he was coming...no response. I lost a full day's pay just sitting home waiting for him to show or at least tell me he wasn't coming. What a waste!!!! Small claims court, here I come!

Full disclosure, I didn't do a full cost comparison based on the final work, but the initial estimate was competitive with the others I received and the service was excellent.

Jesse responded promptly to my request and scheduled a complimentary, in-person, same-day evaluation. When we spoke on the phone he also (correctly) suggested alternate root causes, e.g. pipe blockage, to what I initially thought was a slab leak.  Our conversation gave me confidence in his ability and hope that the problem was potentially less dire than I thought.

Jesse and his associate arrived promptly as planned. He provided a detailed estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. It was after 5 PM, but the estimate was not increased and the work was thorough and not rushed.

Jesse is personable and professional. He answered all of my questions, shared the process as it unfolded and provided me with a video to share with my HOA and insurance.

I highly recommend Jesse and will use him for the required repair work.
