He even caught a few serious mistakes that had previously been made by other professional electricians in our house. Habib is TRUELY ONE OF A KIND! I called him today 12/16/22 after PG&E told me I needed to contact a electrician because of a faulty fuse panel which caused my electricity to go out in the entire house.I left a message he returned my call within 20 minutes. I explained to him my issue , I provided my address and he was on his way. Within 25 minutes he arrived at my house. It took him 30 minutes to fix the issue. And ELECTRICITY WAS RESTORED!

We needed to find out why the electrical connection between the kitchen garbage disposal switch and circuit panel was not working. We contacted Habib late Monday and he came by Tuesday morning. He quickly determined the problem and fixed it. In the process, he saw our clothing dryer vent was clogged and fixed that as well. He worked fast and the price was very reasonable.

Habib is just awesome. Absolutely one of my favorite people to work with. A couple years ago, I tried installing some smart switches at home. After about 5 hours of struggling with that, I managed to unpower half of my home. I tried calling every electrician around the area and no one had any availability on short notice. Habib recognized and empathized with the situation and made time to come over in between jobs to make sure the smart switches were installed properly and power was restored to the rest of my house.

Today he helped me install a Tesla car charger. His service was as awesome as I had remembered it. He is always super responsive on the phone. I really appreciate Habib and would recommend him to anyone who requires any electrical projects done around the home.

Totally recommend Habib for all your electrical needs. He is honest with high work ethic and very rare that you can find such people in Bay Area. I had to install EV charger and there were guys who came over and said, I need to upgrade electrical Panel etc. But Habib came, understood what we are using and what not And optimized our panel. Was able to get work done in one-tenth of the cost others had quoted. Totally and highly recommend Habib. Our entire neighborhood is using his services.

Habib is an honest and very knowledgable electrician. How do I know since I never hired him? I called and asked for a quote. Habib called me back the next day and let me know he is overbooked and I'm out of his work range. He then asked me what the issues were that I was experiencing and let me know that he thought my issues were based on a loose neutral line from the electrical lines to my house. He recommended I call PG&E and told me what to say. PG&E came out and he was right. They fixed the issue and all at no cost.

Wow, what a delight it was to work with Habib! I had lights flickering in my new rental, and was in a panic that there may be a loose wire somewhere. In the past, when I've had electric or plumbing techs come out to troubleshoot I would say the problem is solved 50% of the time after the first or second visit, and sometimes requires multiple companies to isolate the problem (each charging a minimum just for responding).

Habib is not a tech, but a fully licensed pro electrician. He also has wisdom and expertise to think outside of the box. He doesn't charge you any minimum to visit, but only if he does a repair. Habib was able to solve my problem within a couple of hours, as well as clean up the electrical components so that I wouldn't have future issues. Habib is the best in his class, and I feel lucky to have him saved on my phone.

Short Story: Habib is the best!

Long Story: I called Habib due to two issues with my house. The first was that a few of my kitchen outlets would trip when I was using the microwave and oven. We found out that it was because I was using too much amperage on the circuit. In retrospect that seems obvious, but it didn't occur to me at the time.

I explained the situation to Habib on the phone and we scheduled an appointment. He came over right on time and was able to split my circuit into two. He also installed more GFCI circuits in my kitchen outlets too.

The second issue I had was that sometimes when I turned on one of the switches for the kitchen lights it would also trip the circuit breaker. He told me that it was because my lights used a transformer so he used a different fuse on my circuit breaker switch.

After he left I noticed the GFCI circuits he installed had a red flashing light. It indicated it was near its end of life. So Habib came back again and changed the outlets for free!

Verdict: I'm calling Habib if I ever have any more issues.

Habib did an excellent job replacing the fluorescent can lights in our kitchen with dimmable leds. We used him a second time to fix a ground fault problem at our pool and several 3 way lights in the hall and stairway. He really knows what he is doing and did quality work. He is not the least expensive electrician but as is often the case you get what you pay for. I highly recommend him for electrical work.

I called on Tuesday he was able to come out on Wednesday for free. Most other places I called demanded a $150 fee just to come out. Habib came out for free and gave me a very reasonable ballpark.

He checked out the place figured out the problem was the exterior breaker panel but he also fixed up my interior breaker panel anyways. So after fixing both boxes he gave some good advice on how to save on electric bill and to avoid a similar problem in the future.

5/5 fixed main problem and then some and gave good sound advice. Would definitely re-hire and recommend.

Habib is an absolute pro! He knows his stuff and was able to fix work that previous electricians and handymen had botched. He also installed infrared heaters on our back patio, and while it wasn't cheap, everything was done to the letter. We loved that we could just explain what we wanted, and he just did it. No hemming and hawing. He stuck to his estimate, and in the end, we're so glad we went with someone who is straight-forward and extremely competent. We've worked with sub-par contractors in the past who over-promise and under-deliver, and Habib is the true opposite. 5/22/18 Spoke, presumably with Habib about my home issue (flickering lights on one circuit). He was helpful in diagnosing my issue (since it was not the entire home, not an immediate emergency) and I can tell he is a professional. Unfortunately--at least at this writing--he was not doing panel upgrades (I have 1967 home and was interested in it), so he candidly told me he wasn't doing that level of work at the moment. Overall, I would call him again in the future if I have other electrical issues

5/23/18 I have to up the stars, although we've only be chatting. Habib followed up even though he is not doing panel work anymore and noted that my photos of my panel is more than adequate. My panel is in good shape already and has room for expansion. So, I really don't need a panel work! Basically, save me $$$$ on that. And, likely I can hire him now too...

I believe Habib takes a Practical, Common Sense approach to his advice. Given the knowledge he shared with me, I'll see what the other electrician will say...

I was having problems with my power fluctuations when I turned on appliances... lights would dim, my furnace's electric starter stopped working and surge protectors would switch off. Actually, two surge protectors had burned out. I called Habib and he happened to be in the area so he came by. He immediately gave me an estimate to troubleshoot the problem.

He checked everything to eliminate the possibility the issue was inside the house, determined the issue was actually with PG&E, and called them for me to get them to come out and fix the issue. In fact, he called them twice for me when the first PGE agent on the phone refused to accept that having surge protectors burn out wasn't an emergency.

Once we got them to agree to send someone out, he checked out my furnace and determined my transformer had blown out because of the electrical problem from PG&E. He replaced the transformer, we confirmed the furnace worked, but then shut it off so it didn't blow out again. He also checked my oven, which wasn't working properly, and suggested I do nothing with it until after PG&E fixed the problem because he thought my oven issue was related to the bad power.

When he was done, he left but told me to send him an update via text about PG&E and told me to minimize my use of electricity while I waited.

The PGE technician showed up at noon and figured out by 1pm that the problem was indeed on their side, but they needed to send out a crew because it was between the junction at the street ( underground) and my house. In the meantime, they shut off power to my house as a precautionary measure. I texted this to Habib and he texted me back, asking me to keep him informed. When the PGE crew didn't show up by 4pm and it wasn't clear if they were coming at all, he texted me a work around they could do for me IF they couldn't get a crew out to fix the problem properly.

The PGE crew finally showed up at 7pm and my power was back on by 9pm. I sent a note to Habib once it was back on and he confirmed that he saw my note the next morning.

Bottom line: Habib was awesome. He was fast, professional, wore a mask and took care of my electrical and all of the related problems at a fair price.

Habib saved me by fitting me into his busy schedule at the last minute. I first ran into troubles installing a ceiling fan. I called him and he actually tried to walk me through the electrical connections. I soon gave up and he was able to come to my home and complete the install in a timely manner. He added an interior outlet (which he grounded for me, and helped me install the wall mounted bracket for my flatscreen. He also added an exterior waterproof outlet so I could run my string lights.

Habib is a very good electrician. He has done 2 jobs for me. The first was installing an outlet for an Electric Vehicle Charger in my garage. He was very helpful in recommending which charger to purchase and also made some recommendations in an effort to save me money.

He came back and replaced some older seagull lighting with newer (and more efficient) LED lights along with a dimmer.

Habib does very good work. I'd highly recommend his services.

Tip - make sure you agree on a price and write down the number when he's speaking to you. He tends to quote several different prices when doing an estimate and if neither of you remembers what the estimate was, then you end up paying a little more. It's not a huge discrepancy and his rates are very reasonable anyway, but it's worth noting.

Habib is a great communicator, reliable, and straight-forward. He came next day and was responsive on text. Under shelter in place rules, he wore a mask and stayed 6ft away. His price was low and he accepts many payment methods (Venmo, PayPal, check, card, cash). He triaged the issue quickly and helped us create an emergency request with PG&E. Habib is a great electrician. 4 of our outlets weren't working even after we did a reset in the fuse box. Habib looked at it and gave us a flat quote. His rates are reasonable and transparent, and he did not charge us to diagnose the problem. In addition to fixing the breaker for the outlets, he saw some other issues like our dryer being plugged in wrong, our furnace making odd noises, and our bathroom outlet not working. He quickly fixed the dryer plug and bathroom outlet without charging us extra, and we are now going to call a furnace specialist. He is very responsive by text. Definitely calling him again if we run into more electrical issues!

Habib is very responsive and very professional! I called him on Saturday at 11 am to come give me an estimate for a chandelier and ceiling fan install on my 15' vaulted ceiling. He showed up at 12:30 that same day and in 5 minutes gave me an estimate. He then came out at 9 am on Monday! Had both items installed and fully cleaned up by 2 pm! He even recommended to my canned ceiling lights with some high efficiency LED canned lights for just a little more $ and he installed them at the same time as the ceiling fan and chandelier! I called Safe Electric the morning of a holiday. Habib took my call and spoke to me for about 5-7 mins going over my options and his availability. When I told him I had no power, he told me he was just finishing a job nearby and would see if he could drop by my house afterwards but before his next job. He was able to accommodate me within 45 mins of my call.

About 1.5 hrs later the power was back on. What I really liked is that Habib took the time to explain what he was doing. He would pause and call me over to make sure I understood what components he was replacing and what my responsibility was after he left. He was able to give me ideas and estimates for some other deferred electrical work. Habib is a personable and professional worker. I could tell his services are in demand, he received many phone calls during the short time he was here. He took every call, was very honest and respectful about his availability based on the upcoming holidays. I noticed that clients were willing to wait for him.

The work got done on short notice. I enjoyed my experience with Habib. I would refer him to my friends and family.

This review is overdue. Habib has been helping me with projects big and small over many years. He upgraded breaker box so multiple washer/dryer can run at the same time, installed outlets for electric toilet seats, fixed faulty outlets and light sockets, and most recently replaced a transformer that connects to the video doorbell. I called Safe Electric to see if Habib was available for a service visit for a circuit that I'd messed up when installing a new smoke detector. He apologized that he wasn't available today, but offered to help resolve the issue over FaceTime. (Amazing!)

Within a minute of our conversation on FaceTime, when he saw the issue, he was able to diagnose and help resolve the problem. So, while I was clearly not facing a massive problem, he went above and beyond to fix it for me, without even knowing who I am.

Today Habib installed a recess ceiling light with an on/off switch in my kitchen. It seemed complicated, but he did a wonderful job. He also worked on some rewiring upstairs. It turned out more complicated than anticipated, but he took the extra time and did not charge me more than the quoted price. I will contact him again for future electric works.

HABIB ... fixed some tough electrical wiring, switch, and outlet issues that stumped others. He did it quickly, was always working to solve problems, and charged a very fair rate (he also installed a light fixture at no charge).

As promised by other Yelpers, Habib is awesome! He was able to fix an electrical panel problem that PG&E identified after we moved into our new home. He also added a new 240 volt outlet and installed my new Chargepoint electric car charger for me.

Habib is friendly, professional, and patient. He made sure I understood his explanations and did a great job. I had called 4-5 places that were also rated 5 stars on Yelp but they all had 2-3 week waiting periods for the first appointment. Habib was able to come just a few days later.

I was having an issue with my kitchen lights not turning on. I went to the sub panel and heard a cracking noise coming from the panel. I turned off the power to the house and started to look up electricians. I called 3 but they were closed since it was after hours. I looked up electricians that were available 24 hours and started calling them.

Safe Electric was closed at the time but the only call back that I received in 24 hours was from Habib. He told me what to do so I could have power instead of turning off my entire house. He wasn't available the next day and was out by 9:30 AM the following day. He fixed the issue and properly set up my sub panel. All of this for a very reasonable price.

Habib answered immediately, was able to carve out a small slot in his very busy schedule, and was at my house an hour later. He efficiently and professionally installed a complex light fixture, and when I commented that I would really like another outlet placed near the toilet in the bathroom, he took a look and said 'no problem'. Habib had all the needed equipment in his truck, cut into my wall, was able to run a wire to create another proper GFCI outlet exactly where I wanted. Couldn't ask for better service. When I asked him to charge me for the phone consult, he asked that I donate any amount to a local children's hospital.... so we did! Habib was contacted at 8:00 am to request a quote on some work and he provided that information over the phone. It was a fair quote. We scheduled a time frame that fit into my schedule. When he showed up to do the work, I showed him another minor/safety issue and he was able to resolve it at no additional charge.
I was very happy with his service. My neighbor hired him to do some work and was also happy with his service. Great job!

I called safe electric and Habib turned me away citing too busy or some vague reasoning. Additionally, prior to this I had looked up their website and left my contact info--i wanted to thoroughly cross reference this company and make sure they were legit. Anyway I had forgotten I left my contact via website and Habib calls me again only to reject me a second time! I get that if you're too busy you can't take on anymore jobs but how is it that a person has the time to personally call people to let them know they don't want your business? Well, we really wanted to give them our business but they're too good for us for some reason.

Habib was very nice and professional. We called him on a Saturday around noon and he was able to come that same day at 2pm. He was able to figure out our issue very fast. It turns out we needed to call pg&e. He called pg&e for us and explained everything to them over the phone. I am SUCH a happy customer. I called another electrician first, and got voice mail saying they are scheduling the middle of December. Then thank God I called Habib, who was on his way to Fremont and fitted me in right away! I realize this isn't always possible but all I can say is, the other guy's voice mail wasn't going to make that effort, right?

The ballast in my kitchen light was out. I had gotten an estimate from someone earlier to replace the ballast for $150, but I didn't like the company so didn't use them. Habib offered alternatives and understood when I chose the cheaper one, in which he actually converted the outmoded fluorescent light to an LED fixture - no ballast, low energy use, etc - for a total bill of $150. Yes, he basically built a new and better type of fixture for the same price another guy charges for replacing the old ballast.

So I can't say enough. Call this guy first and you will be happy.

I work with a property management company out of Hayward and we received an urgent maintenance request from a property we manage in Newark that was having some electrical issues. The tenants informed us that they had a total of 3 outlets that were not working with no tripped breakers.

I called Habib that same evening about the issue the tenants reported and he was able to go out to the property the next day.

To make a long story short, there was some faulty wiring done from a previous job that Habib cleaned up and even improved.

The tenant e-mailed me the next day thanking me (even though I cannot take any credit) and said that the electrical in the house is working even better than before where the lights would not dim when other things were in use.

I HIGHLY recommend Safe Electric to anyone looking for a reputable, efficient and knowledgeable electrical company that will go above and beyond your expectations.

We called Habib on Wdnedsdy and he was able to come out on Thursday morning to fix a few outlets that had stopped working.

We expIained that we were getting ready to move, and he kindly pointed out a few items that were not up to code.

He took care of the plugs, removed the out of code wiring, and the light fixture that was connected to the wiring, and Viola! All is well!

Habib provides free estimates, and charges by the job. I highly recommend his services.

To make a long story short. Called Safe Electic and he came out on the same day. My parents home had problems with only half of the lights coming on in the house. We tried trouble shooting everything and nothing worked. My brother is a high volt electrician and was unable to find the problem. Habib came out and it took him a little longer then he had thought to find the problem, but he still charged us the original quote he gave me over the phone. Great work by Habib. Our house had no doorbell anymore so I bought a Nest Camera Doorbell to install. However, none of the so-called Nest Pros the manufacturer recommended would come to install it since there wasn't an existing bell and chime, so I had to call an electrician. Thankfully Habib not only found the wiring and confirmed it was powered but went ahead and installed the Nest for me. Luckily the wiring had enough voltage for the camera to work so he didn't have to do any extra work to up the power, so he even cut down the actual cost from his estimate. Would definitely have him back for any other electrical jobs needed.

Had an issue with a loose breaker in panel by PG&E meter.

I called in desperation at 3:30 today and he showed up at 4:30.

He not only fixed my issue, but double checked all the wires and breakers were secure to each other, double checked my stove was working.

He then saw the plug to my dryer wasn't in the dryer plug fat enough, he pushed it in further to find out the plug was worn and needed replaced.

He replaced that too.

Very reasonable on pricing and excellent customer service.

Wow! There's no job too small or big for Habib! He came by to fix what is needed to be fix and showed me a few things and given some recommendations how I can better maintain my place. Habib is one of the most professional individuals I have met. He has obviously been doing electrical and repair work for many years, but still has enthusiasm and energy like you wouldn't believe.

I needed to replace an old style bathroom exhaust fan with a newer quieter model. I had called around to several electricians in my area, I made an appointment for home depot to come out, and all of them had doubts about being able to replace this fan without a ton of Sheetrock work and a very high hourly rate. Most of them said it would be several weeks before they could see me. Finally I found Safe Electric.

I called on a Wednesday, and Habib said he would try and get there for Friday evening as he had a job close. We ended up having to reschedule for the following Thursday as the other job ran long, but this was still two weeks better than his nearest competitor that would agree to do the job at all.

He showed up as agreed at 8:15 Thursday morning and proceeded to inspect my fans and began work. He was finished with replacing the unit, spackling a few holes I had around the house and fixing a wiring job that I had been wired incorrectly by another electrician. He did all of this for the originally agreed upon price.

He swept and cleaned up everything to better than expected condition. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and offered many suggestions that made a lot of sense. My only downside was that he does not have the ability to accept credit cards at this time. Luckily the bank was close(I was out of checks which he also does accept.).

I called a couple of other companies who failed to return my call which led me to Safe Electric. This was actually a blessing in disguise. Habib who is the sole proprietor of the company is no only very personable, professional and very knowledgable at his craft. My call / communication with Habib was prompt and appointment time was punctual. This was not an easy job to diagnose, (Mobile home) but he did and corrected the circuitry. The cost of repairs for his service and materials is extremely fair. I was very fortunate to come across Safe Electric and highly recommend Habib's services and his honest work ethic. The electricity to a portion of the house went out. Had one guy look at it for an hour and half and he made zero progress. I called Habib and he promptly responded. We couldn't connect on Friday but we made an appointment for Saturday morning. He was right on time. He assessed the situation and I could see he was being methodical in his approach (unlike the other guy). The problem was a sparking wire in one of the plugs which he quickly repaired. He was very efficient and made sure he cleaned up afterwards (very thoughtful and considerate). His rate was reasonable -- not for the time he spent but the effectiveness of his solving the problem. I can see he cares about his work and strives to give excellent service.

This is a long overdue review for Habib.

We had just moved to a rental apartment in Sunnyvale and our landlords had been kind enough to allow us to install an electric car charging station for our vehicle.

We approached electrician after electrician and each one kept giving us excuses for not taking up the job because it was too difficult (given the age of the building and the panel/wiring) or charging us amounts as outrageous as $3000 - $5000.

I then came across Safe Electric and gave Habib a call. He asked me to take a picture of the electrical panel and send it across to him. Within 10 minutes of doing that and just looking at the photograph, Habib said the job was completely doable for a fraction of the amount the others quoted me.

On the day of the job, Habib showed up on time, was courteous and got done with the job to full satisfaction. I could charge my car - woohoo!

When we had a new washer and dryer installed, the outlet for the washer and all the other outlets in the room stopped working. I have no idea why or what the installers did, and of course, they weren't going to touch the electric. So, I googled, and found Safe Electric, with great reviews.

Made one phone call, and Habib answered right away. Without hesitation, he walked me through the process, and got it working again. Over the phone!

It was so nice to come home to a well lit garage last night! Thank you Habib for doing such a wonderful job of getting power back to our bathroom, fixing the 2-way switch at the stairs and replacing the missing switch and outlet covers in the garage. AND mounting my car charger and chord to the wall so the outlet doesn't come out again all for a reasonable price!
It was also nice making the call to Habib and he actually answered his phone. Within 20 minutes he was at my home and even inspired my husband to change out a few light bulbs.
Habib went above and beyond our expectations!

Round two! Had to call Habib back out for a completely different issue yesterday, which was Easter Sunday! He managed to squeeze us in as the isssue we had was prohibiting us from moving forward with other items we needed to purchase. I cannot speak highly enough of Safe Electric. After waiting over a week for a very poor experience with another company, I contacted Safe Electric first thing Thursday morning. Habib came out that afternoon to take a look at our issue. He spent quite a bit of time diagnosing and fixing the problems and even went above and beyond to tighten a ceiling fan that was loose. He gave us some honest recommendations and charged what I feel is a very fair and reasonable rate. We will eventually need to have some additional work done and I will definitely be calling Habib for service. He is prompt, reliable, fair and has wonderful customer service.

Very good experience with Safe Electric. I called on Saturday early morning saying I want to install a dryer outlet and wanted to get a estimate. He said he would like to come to my house to do an accurate estimate, but he has an appointment that morning and will reply me later. He called me back on 11:30 am saying he is available on 12 pm. So we met and he gave me a reasonable price for the dryer outlet after inspection. Without quoting with other company, I decided to let him do the work.

I am also moving at the same day, so I have to travel between my old place and the new place. Without any concern, I left him alone to do the work and it came out great! After 3 hours of hard working he called me saying it is finished. I quickly drive back and found he installed the outlet perfectly. He even kindly help me replace all broken outlet, clean up my attic and add in an attic door as extra. How nice he is!

In short, I am very satisfied with his service - quick with great quality!

I don't know if Habib is an electrician or magician. Or both? But he came and did an amazing job on my house! I had a bunch of electrical sockets that were not working. He changed breakers in a matter of minutes. Also replace switches that should have been replace by the contractors who did my house but never did. He started putting in light bulbs where there was none. Now everything is working perfectly! He even wired and mounted a motion light on the side of my house where there never was one. He will definitely be my go to electricians. I held off on calling anyone else because he had many great reviews. These reviews as well as mine don't do him justice. He's an awesome guy. I called Safe Electric in the morning to receive an estimate on a small project I had. The gentleman picked up the phone right away and said that he could come by later that day to to an estimate and probably do the electrical work during that time. Habib came to the rescue when I ran into trouble replacing a switched receptacle.
The original wiring was weird and I was stupid enough not to write down how the original wiring was since I thought I knew what I was doing... WRONG! After I installed the outlet per some online instructions, the receptacle works, but the other room has no power!

I called Habib out of desperation, and he was able to come on the same day. He fixed the problem in like 10 minutes! Very impressive!

I secured the services of Safe Electric and Habib on August 27, 2007. Habib installed motion security light on the front of my home. He had to use the crawl space/attic to gain access. There was a 10 year guarantee on the work, light fixture and light. It has been a little over 10 years and as per the guarantee no problems. Only recently has the bulb gone out and needs to be replaced. On June 22, 2012, Habib installed another motion sensor light. Habib is a real professional through and through. Dependable, affordable, reliable. I will be contacting Habib for more work and highly recommend him and his company.

We had an outlet in the bathroom popped on us twice so we needed an electrician to provide a long term safe solution to this and to explain to us what happened. We are no electricians and do not know much about it so Habib was great because he was very patient and explained everything very thoroughly. We ended up fixing the outlet, adding a separate outlet with separate circuit, installing one new bathroom fan and replacing the old fan in the second bathroom and also bunch of minor fixes to light switches and loose outlet. Lights in my living room and bathroom were flickering and often went without power. I went to check and the circuit breakers were not tripped. A quick Yelp showed great reviews for Habib so I gave him a call! He came the same day, quickly identified the problem, and solved it for a reasonable rate. I had no electricity coming out from a garage outlet. This is due to a friend using some power tools to do repair work on our concrete driveway.

I have checked my garage power panel and flipped all the circuit breakers to reset them and still no electricity. I tested my garage and laundry room GFCI switch and still no electricity. I did not know that there were another set of circuit breakers inside the Air Conditioning outside panel. Habib found them and there they were tripped. Habib reset them and we finally have electricity.

He also helped change out some old electrical outlets and gave me tips about outside wiring for my water fountain. Very friendly electrician.

Habib is great! All of the reviews are true. He fixed an issue of mine that could of caused a fire in my condo. I'm leaving out of town tomorrow and happy he was able to fix the problem before I left.

Habib is absolutely Wonderful! We needed an electrician to run multiple lights in four different rooms, we had contacted a total of 15 electricians and Habib stood our based on his timely response and wonderful attitude. When he came over to give us an estimate, not only did he offer a competitive bid but also offered to do all of the work same day which was great because other electricians offered to maybe pencil us in 2-3 weeks from the quote day.

Habib was extremely courteous, efficient and professional. He arrived around 4:00 p.m., and didn't leave until after 8:00. He was able to diagnose that we were running on the wrong ampage, which was why we were continuously having outages in our kitchen. I texted them and they were the first to respond and agree to do the install the same day. It turned out that one of the lights was defective. Habib and safe electric are amazing- quality work, professionalism and sound recommendations to everything electric related. He did several things on our house - wired and installed ceiling fans, installed two chandeliers and most importantly converted old ceiling lights to LED. Woke up to discover that part of electricity in my house was out. Of course, it included the fridge :(
I called Habib. He was on his way out to a job out of the area, but he helped me over the phone. Had me take pictures of the breaker boxes and looked at them and had me try them while he was on the phone. He advised me to call PG &E. Turns out it was a PG &E brown-out in the area.
I really appreciated how considerate it was of him to help me on the phone!

Impressive professional knowledge and kind service attitude. I was just reaching out for a quote and simply described the problem of a wall outlet malfunctioning. After I got the quote price, I replied that I'll shop around for more quotes since I am not familiar with the average market rates, and hung up. Habib is awesome! I needed a bathroom vent fan replaced. He called back promptly, asked about the project, and texted me photos of fan I options I could buy. I bought one from Home Depot and he came by a few days later to install it. He charged half of what other companies did for labor! He also cleaned up after the installation and even tightened a miscellaneous screw he noticed was loose in my bathroom.

I was in desperate need to locate a licensed electrician that was available ASAP to fix some electrical work in my home that my previous unlicensed electrician botched. I looked up on Yelp and saw that Safe Electric had 60+ something reviews with a 5 star rating. I was skeptical at first but was desperate. So I contacted Habib and he responded to me quickly and he was able to see me within the week. Mind you, I had contacted about 13 licensed electricians. 4 of them responded and weren't able to see me until December.

Habib was truly my lifesaver. He didn't charge to do an estimate and on the day that he came over, he told me that he was able to fix things that day but I needed to be patient. I had all the patience in the world since my last electrician took up 5.5 hours of my time in a span of 2 days, and didn't fix anything. Before he started the work, Habib informed me that if he wasn't able to fix things, he wouldn't charge me for his time. Now that's an electrician I can get on board with! Within 2 hours, Habib troubleshot all my electrical outlets in my living room and my dining room. He also replaced an old Intermatic timer with a new model for me that controls the outside lighting. My outside lights and a couple of lights in the house were on the fritz and didn't turn on, he got them working. And on top of it all, he replaced a couple of light fixtures outside so I can see better at night (it's pitch-black where I live with hardly any street lights). Habib is super smart (he diagnosed the various problems in 10 minutes), punctual, communicative, and he works fast. I'm so glad to have found him on Yelp. I'm going to have him come back in December to install recessed lights for me. Thank you so much Habib for your help today. You're a ROCK STAR!

I told him over the phone what I needed done. He gave me a verbal quote without having to see the building. He came in, replaced the light fixtures with LED lighting like I had requested and stayed until it was finished (except for lunch of course). While in the process of remodeling my house - which included three bathrooms (a house built in the 1940's) I ended up shopping around with a number of Electricians. During this process it became apparent that we had to upgrade the entire electrical system of the house and the proposals that I was getting were depressing me entirely. Had a black-out living room last Saturday night. Called Safe Electric on Monday morning. The owner was able to show up in 1.5 hour and diagnosed the problems quickly. Besides fixing the breaker and outlet plugs etc., he also replaced a couple of 3-way switches for us. All were done within reasonable time

Habib was very professional, answered the phone immediately and was able to get to my house withing a few hours. Over the past few months, my outside breaker kept going off whenever I ran the dryer and I lost power in my entire house. A few days ago, it stopped working altogether. After arriving on site, Habib tested the wire going from my dryer to the fuse box, then to the outside breaker and determined the breaker itself had gone bad. Habib also very helpful and cleaned the area under the dryer while we had it pulled out and helped fix the exhaust vent tube so the lint wouldn't blow all over my garage floor. While he was here, I also had him fix an outside light that had never worked my HOA never got around to fixing on thier own.

I would definately recommend Habib to anyone looking for an electrician and contact him if I need help in the future.

I needed a dedicated breaker for an over the range microwave oven. The previous owner didn't do that and just pushed the electrical cable through the wall and connect it to an electrical outlet. Since I was a first time homeowner, I had no idea that was a MUST: I found this out when the microwave oven no longer worked and so I bought a new one to replace. When the guy came to install it, he refused and said since it was not connected to a dedicated breaker, it was against code and he wouldn't connect it for me. So, I came to Yelp and searched for an electrician and that's where I found Safe Electric.

Habib came to assess it and offered his services for the amount that I thought was very reasonable. He even offered to do it right there and then and since I had time and the price was reasonable, I went with it and I am glad: He was very professional. Offered input and feedback that was honest. eg. I asked if my circuit box is okay or should I upgrade it (one electrician said I should so I was asking for a 2nd opinion) and he said it was fine; save the money and do something else, etc. I thought that was honest and decent of him. He could have made something up to get the job too but he didn't and I really respect that.

He also cleaned after himself; pointed out a couple of things he noticed that was going on with my dryer so that I can talk to a plumber and sort that out... a very nice, professional yet personable electrician, who I will definitely call him back for other electrical needs around my house later. For now, I have a dedicated breaker that I needed so I can go back to reheating food again! Life without a microwave is harder than I ever knew :)

I goggled Habib because I couldn't find his card in our messy drawers and was shocked to discover I haven't reviewed him.

But seriously - you already are calling him right? all these reviews say the same thing. And it's true.

Habib has never laughed out loud) about our 1920's bungalow and it's messed up electrical systems. He's been in twice to fix various things, upgrade parts of the house and just generally make things safer and newer.

Now we're updating the kitchen and we're calling him again. What kitchen only has 2 outlets?

He's timely, thoughtful, great at explaining and super safe. We'll never go anywhere else.

Safe Electric came by to address an issue we were having with the cabling for one of our satellite dish boxes, which we had been experiencing for a few months, ever since switching from cable service. We had been going back and forth with customer service and tech support for our new satellite dish service, but to no avail. We had almost given up on the service. Luckily, we decided to have Safe Electric inspect the cabling to the box that was giving us trouble.

Habib, the electrician, was methodical about troubleshooting the problem, and took the time to test things out at each step. He eventually resolved the problem, saving us time, money and future headaches dealing with our satellite dish company.

Afterwards, we also had Habib install a new cable outlet, which he accomplished rather quickly. He also fixed a couple electrical outlets and a light switch that hadn't been working properly. He even suggested we switch out some of the light bulbs in our recessed kitchen lighting to more energy-efficient models.

We were happy with the quality of Habib's work, his friendly attitude and work ethic. He also impressed us with the initiative he took to provide us with suggestions on how to save energy throughout our home.

We'd recommend Safe Electric to anyone needing electrical work, and will definitely contact them for future projects & repairs in our home.

Repeat customer here. Habib is great - competent, reasonably-priced, and honest. Most recently, I asked him to address a specific problem but he went above and beyond, pointing out a potential safety issue and then getting on the phone with PG&E to get them to come out and address it at once. PG&E showed up as Habib was finishing up with his job, yet he stayed until PGE technical was done with his, making sure that repair was done properly as well. Highly recommend.

Habib was great. I had called at 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning. He said he would text when he is in the neighborhood at about 12 noon. He called at 11 a.m. and arrived shortly thereafter. The day before I was changing out a burnt out light switch and shorted out the master and small bedrooms. He was outstanding. He rewired the burnt out wires in the box, restored power to the bedrooms. He also fixed our smoke alarm and hallway light fixures that had gone bad many years ago. All within an hour and half. I will call him back in a couple of weeks to update our kitchen lights. Good man!

Habib is absolutely great. I had a tripped breaker that kept tripping and he picked up my call right away and came out a few hours later, traced the issue to poor wiring in one of the outlets that melted and caused a short, and he fixed several other minor issues he found along the way including a leak in my heating/AC ducts that HVAC guys had missed! We recently contacted Habib to switch out a ceiling fan for a hanging pendant in our apartment. After calling several places and reading many reviews, we contacted Habib. Habib was easy to get in touch with, very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly, and he did a great job installing a dimmer and switching out the fan.

He was very detail oriented and cautious with our delicate fixture. We didn't feel rushed - he let us take our time making decisions about how to hang the fixture (height, etc.). He even came during a busy time for him to accommodate us. All these five star reviews are well-justified!

Habib did a great job yesterday - Helped us install our Chandelier by neatly removing the existing light fixtures that were there earlier. He responded quickly to my phone call and arrived within the appointment window he provided. He also fixed the holes left in the ceiling after removing the old light fixture. Habib is a wonderful man and a brilliant electrician. I have an old duplex (circa 1924) with
original wiring. Had 3 dead outlets, I dead light switch and an outdoor motion light all not
working after the last big rainstorm (approx. 30 days ago) We couldn't find the problem,
so called Habib and set up an appointment and he was there early!!
It took approx. 4 hours to trace the problem, but its fixed!!! He is now my #1
electrician. His prices are more than fair and he gives you an estimate before starting work,
explaining what he does as he goes along. As a single woman, finding a contractor who I
can trust and is honest and straight forward is a blessing!!! I will not hesitate to recommend

Habib came out to fix my switched dishwasher/garbage disposal outlet. The outlet and its box had come loose from the wall, and the receptacles were unreliably making contact. Habib replaced the outlet box with the correct type, replaced the outlet, and labeled the receptacles. He noticed that a couple spots on my breaker panel were getting a bit warm, so he reseated and tightened them. He also reinstalled an intermittant outlet in one of the bedrooms, without charging me extra. Thank you!

Habib is great. He just fixed our dryer outlet, which had burnt-out wires. He diagnosed the problem (copper wire improperly attached to aluminum wire), fixed the problem (including doing some wall-patching), and quoted us a great price. He also took the time to rearrange the wiring into the dryer itself as he suspected it wasn't done properly (and he was right) AND check the circuit breaker. I had a bathroom remodel where work was halted due to faulty/old wiring. I called Safe Electric in the afternoon and by the next morning he completed the repairs before the contractors arrived. In addition to the major repair there were several smaller items he fixed within a 3 hour period. Very easy to work with and price reasonable for the amount of repairs done. After words suggested future repairs. Would definitely recommend.

Have to give Habib a very high rating. We had an electric problem through the whole house and PG&E came out but didn't resolve. I had one electrician out who diagnosed incorrectly and then left. Contacted Habib on Friday and he came out Saturday. Checked everything, confirmed it was PG&E's problem that they should have solved, and called them with me to insist that they come out same day and fix what they should have fixed the first time. Hard to find trustworthy people, but I would use Habib again for any electrical needs. Shows up on time, doesn't try to rip you off, clearly knows what he is doing and is a friendly guy too.

I want to give Habib 5 super starts for his great service!

My tenant sent me a text message complaining that the dishwasher and garbage disposal were not working due the the circuit outlet issues. I searched on Yelp for the electricians and left couple voice messages. Luckily, Habib was the only one whom I was able to get hold of. After hearing my description, he was very confident that he could fix it and gave a quote over the phone. To my surprise, he could go to the property within 1 hour...
It turned out the repair work was way more complicated than he originally thought. However, he was capable to fix it and still stick to the original quoted price.(not increasing the bid)
I was very happy about this work ethnic and great job. Even though I haven't met him in person, (he can take the credit card over the phone), I am sure he should be an honest, and reliable person.
I will definitely use him again and recommend him to my friends as well.

I'm agreeing with all the other reviewers...Habib is awesome! It's very rare that a majority...if not all...of the reviews were spot on...but Habib and Safe Electric was!

Had an appt. for 8:30am today...boom...there he was at 8:25am. He was quick and very thorough after we discussed my short circuit in my house...not to mention, reassuring that he will fix it. He went switch panel to switch panel and quickly discovered the one causing the short.

On top of the issue I called for, I also mentioned 2 other separate issues I had and Habib was like...let's do it. He fixed my dryer issue after crawling into a tight space and then replacing that plug...which was was incorrectly installed originally. And then he helped me install a new outdoor waterproof outlet! And to top it all off, he tightened all the wires and fuse connectors in my wall panel as he didn't want me to have any future safety issues! All for a reasonable price too!

The best thing, Habib was so friendly!

I would highly recommend Habib to anyone...as well as keeping him on my speed dial for future electrical issues/projects! Thanks Habib!!

Habib just left my home and we're very happy with his job. More importantly, Habib is trustworthy.

The ballast of my kitchen was burnt, so we called Habib. He gave a fair quote and came on time. It turned out that the ancient wiring was drastically different from the current standard. Yet Habib only increased the quote slightly and reasonably. His rewiring looked neat and clean, and he also took time to answer our questions in great details.

Habib was able to install 2 outlets today (Sunday) no less. I called and he was extremely busy, which to me is a good sign :) but that also meant having to wait, but in no hurry myself with what I needed done. To my surprise he called me up in the early afternoon and was able to get both done within 2 hours. Habib is now my go to guy for any electric work ! Habib answered his phone when I first called about my problem. I texted him my address and fortunately, he was available the next day to fix a wiring problem with my dishwasher and disposer. This problem was found by my cabinet company during cabinet refacing and getting new countertops. (More problems are usually found during a remodel!) Habib investigated what I needed and also researched the other outlets in my kitchen. I chose to also fix the microwave circuit and put it on its own dedicated line. Habib did lots of little extra things and made recommendations for me. He capped off the plumbing (after I went to Dale Hardware for the $2.99 cap) for me under my kitchen sink too so he could pull out the dishwasher to do the wiring. He put 2 three-prong plugs on my disposer and my dishwasher (I found a three prong cable I wasn't using and he had one in his truck). He also made recommendations for my plumber next week for under the sink valves and copper piping to hedge against future water leaks and damage. He also made recommendations about my electrical panel and labeled them with specific appliance names like microwave, dishwasher, disposer. He also labeled the plates so there would be no confusion on the outlets under my sink because one is always on for the dishwasher and the disposer goes off/on with the switch. This was the first time I had worked with him and he did a good job! He arrived at 8:40 AM and left at 2:15 PM.
His itemized invoice said:

Habib installed around 9 exterior lights, and 1 mini chandelier and track light inside two bedrooms for me. Exterior work was the most challenging because he had to run the wiring outside from power source in the attic. I have vaulted ceilings so I'd imagined moving about in the attic must be hard. It seemed like a tall order and initially Habib was not available. I called around for a few other highly rated electricians in the area but they either didn't respond back or weren't interested in a consultation before installation. I am not sure how they were quoting their price without assessing the scope of work/area in person and sure enough the price was subject to change on the installation day. Out of honest options, I called Habib back to request his time and he obliged. He stopped by before installation to look at the area, fixtures I had purchased and advised me on the bulbs that were most appropriate for those fixtures (excellent customer service!). On the installation day, he was on time, kept his work space clean and patiently worked at it until he was done (all of this done in one day). I recommended him to my friends in East Bay looking for an expert electrician and will call him soon for a couple other jobs I have in the pipeline.

I had Safe Electric install new outlets, grounding wires and breaker boxes at my new house and a follow-up inspection of his work found it to be exceptional.
Habib was very friendly and professional. He was very responsive to my emails and phone calls and was always clear about what work needed to be done and how much if would cost. He seemed to be very familiar with the wiring in the houses in my neighborhood (San Lorenzo) and offered a lot of insight while we were planning the work. We scheduled him to start on the second day after closing on our new home, which made some additional challenges for him. He needed to work around the chaos of us moving in and the numerous other technicians who would be visiting while he was there. Habib made every effort to accommodate the other techs with electricity while the house's electricity was disconnected.

All outlets in my family room went out on a Friday afternoon and facing NO TV for a Friday night with the family... OMG, panic time!! called several electrician after 4pm, no one would come over or willing to work over the weekend!
Finally found Habib on Yelp and was skeptical about all the 5 star review
but called him after desperation.
No he was already booked for Friday But told me he can come over late Saturday afternoon and will call me ahead of time before he come over! I said sure, come over sat afternoon, I do anything to get the TV fixed!
Sat afternoon, Habib called and told me he will be here between 5-6pm just like what he told me yesterday. Very professional attitude. He came over to my house started investigated the problem. It was not an easy task! I was impressed with his methods of diagnostic and patience! He had to open up all the outlet and switches in the house along with testing the circuit breakers. It was like watching live CSI searching for clues and trying to find that burned wire! After almost 2 hours I sense some frustration on Habib but he said let me try one more thing. Habib finally found the circuit breaker and narrowed it down to the faulty outlet and found the burned wire that was causing the short!!!! Hurray!
I thought for sure he was going to charge me more money but he only asked for what he quoted me and it was super reasonable for a Sat job.
I would use Habib again any time and highly recommend Habib as he is professional, smart and honest! This has been one of the rare and pleasant experience I had working with a contractor!!

Exceptional Work... I called on a Saturday and within an hour Habib was at my door. He looked over the project I had which was to install a new pump into my swim spa. He carefully considered the project and although he had never done a pump installation he told me he would help me out. I watched him as he meticulously took the old pump out and rewired the new pump and put it back in. He did an outstanding job and was finished in less than an hour and gave me a fantastic price. Habib just left my house. He arrived promptly this morning and got right to work fixing my detached unit. Half of the outlets and the hot water had stopped working the day beforehand. I had an electrical issue in my condo a couple of weeks ago (no power in half of the unit, including my refrigerator). At first I called a handyman who was referred to me by a friend. He charged me too much money but never resolved the issue even after two attempts. You really have already found your electrician: Call Safe Electric now if you need it. I called Safe Electric today on Labor day. Habib answered the phone and set an appointment for the same day. He showed up exactly on time and even texted me in advance to give me an Expected Time of Arrival. He came to my house and gave me an estimate on redoing unsafe wiring for a switch to a bathroom light and fan. His estimate was very reasonable. He crawled into the attic and redid all the wiring in the harness that was incorrectly done by a previous electrician. He finished the job in a timely manner and completely cleaned the work area.

He offered to throw in a double switch for the exact same original price quoted. He truly cares about the customer. If you live in Fremont, he is your go to local electrician.

Outstanding - I recommend Habib hands down, will choose him again for my next project.

I have had multiple issues piled up over time. A burnt outlet, a circuit breaker that broke bad taking several outlets down with it, a doorbell that another electricians tried but could not fix plus minor things. Habib identified all the issues quickly and accurately, replaced broken components from his spare tools box and fixed them in all within couple of hours.

He kept an eye out for things that did not look right and took care of them as well - fixed an overloaded circuit breaker, converted an outlet next to a water tap to GFCI protected outlet, and fixed an home address number light.

I was a bit unsure about the phone quote he gave me before coming in but in the end I was more than happy as it covered replacement parts and his excellent workmanship.

When I bought a new range with a double oven, I was unhappy to discover that the range outlet had been placed in the FLOOR when the house was built. My new range didn't fit over the errant outlet. Habib is AMAZING! We had a light in our very OLD kitchen that was flickering in the off position (light is controlled by 2 switches) and were convinced we had loose wiring at home. In a state of panic (loose wiring is a main cause of house fires), we cut the power off to half the house while we frantically looked for an electrician late at night. We called Safe Electric first thing in the morning and after hearing our situation, Habib asked us to send over pictures of our 2 lighting fixtures (good and bad one). Within minutes, we were on the phone with Habib who assured us that we did not have a wiring issue and simply needed to change the LED lightbulb. He then explained that even though we had the light in the off position, the light was still getting power from the other switch which is a really old/obsolete way to wire a 3 way system. We were blown away by Habib's helpfulness, responsiveness and generosity. He provided some of the best customer service we've encountered to date and on top of that, it was at NO charge! Habib is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, humble, and down-to-earth. Above all else, he is extremely fair and honest. This is more than I can say for other local electricians as they gave me quotes that were clearly unfair and overpriced. When I initially called him, we agreed that my issues were very simple and I told him I could just resolve them myself since I could not afford his initial quote. He agreed and even told me it would be much cheaper that way, especially since my issues were a quick-fix. This instance made me realize how great Habib really is. I never before needed an electrician, except I needed an electrician twice in the past 18 months. First, I needed to have some work done to bring my rental unit's lighting and electrical heating up to code. I called around, and Habib charged the least. He showed up on time, did the work, and charged me exactly what he said it would cost. All still works.

This month I bought an electric car; I needed a 240v outlet put in the garage. I called around, and again Habib charged the least. He even remembered me and my tenant from the first time (it was at a different address.) He installed the outlet, and even prepared a hook for the charger that had not yet arrived from Amazon - not exactly something I expected him to do.

If I ever need an electrician again, I'm sure I'll call around asking for quotes, but Habib will likely be the least expensive, and I know he is good.

The owner has been super nice, helpful, experienced,and patient. We called him at late evening when we found one living room totally lost power. When we called him, he just got home. I called at 4:08 pm and and told him the garbage disposal needed an electrical outlet plug installed, and he asked for my address and said he would be able to come by around 6:00pm. I had just bought a new stove, only to discover that the electric outlet didn't match the plug on the appliance. I called Habib at about 5PM, and he said he could come over at 6PM to see what the situation was. It turns out instead of the 40A circuit with an outlet for a range that I expected, I had a 20A circuit with a dryer outlet. Habib quoted a price and offered to do the work on the spot. I found Habib on here, called him up and he was over within 20 minutes. He diagnosed the problem, found where the guy had drilled into a live wire to secure the water heater, and fixed it.

Habit is excellent. His customer service is outstanding. He returns calls and texts and gets the job done as promised. We had all the kitchen canned lighting changed to LED and the bedroom ceiling lighting changed to LED. He repaired a hole in the ceiling for no charge and he does excellent and clean work. We have used him 3 times now and all expierences are more than satisfactory. You will not regret having Habib work on your electrical projects.

I called Safe Electric today due to my company building having 2 out lets out! FAST and efficiently this man came out. I called many other electricians trying to get someone out here to service our building. Either no one would pick up call back or did not service commercial buildings! upon much frustration I called him. THIS MAN CAME OUT WITH A BROKEN WRIST! how good of a company is that, In spite that he could not fully function with both hands he still came out! I would say that shows the integrity of ones company. Most will make excuses. At the end his cost was beyond reasonable! shoot if I had to come out with a broken wrist I would charge double! He was beyond fair, Showed up fast! did his job and did not over charge for his service. i will recommend definitely! to anyone Thank you sir! for showing up to help us!

We were looking for an electrician who could fix miscellaneous issues (fix electrical outlets, wiring, exhaust fans etc) in a thorough manner, at a reasonable cost and at once. We were glad to have chosen Habib, as he was the perfect choice for the job. He knew what he was doing and explained the steps along the way and also gave tips on saving energy. He even drove me to Home Depot to get a replacement exhaust fan, that too on a Friday night! We will definitely use him in future.

My husband found Habib from all the 5-star Yelp reviews and hired him to change out some GFCI outlets in our bathrooms and kitchen. When he swung by our home, he changed out all three outlets and inspected what we thought was a questionable one in our bedroom, he noticed something was wrong with the outlet out on our deck. With no hesitation, he helped us with that one as well and did not charge us extra. He finished his job in less than one hour and gave us a really good price. No BS -- just got the work done and did it to code. We would definitely call him for electrical work again and highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Safe Electric. Habib came the same day I called, on time, stayed two hours, fixed my hot tub circuit and outside lights and was a delight to deal with as well as reasonable in his price. It's really nice to now know exactly who to call when we need electrical work in the future.

Habib is an excellent electrician and I would definitely recommend his services. He is honest, hard working, and answered all of our questions. He went above and beyond what was expected, and his pricing was good too!
We originally called Habib because we have an older home and our electricity in certain rooms kept kicking out. Habib listened to what our problems were, having us explain the issues we were having, and then quickly diagnosed the problem. He walked us through his thought process as he began troubleshooting. He openned up the fusebox, found which circuits controlled certain rooms, and then found that we had a loose connection on some of the wires. He fixed our problem at minimal cost and said we shouldn't have any more problems.
During this process, he also openned outlets to ensure they were connected the right way, and checked the whole house for grounding. Since our house is older, only the kitchen and bathrooms were grounded. We also had a fusebox in the closet and Habib suggested it would be safer to eliminate the fusebox in the closet and run everything to our outside fusebox. He said this wasn't necessary since he likely fixed our problem with the loose wires, but that it would be safer. He also suggested we could designate another circuit to our family room, to ensure the breaker wasn't overloaded in the future.
After considering his suggestions, we later called him back and agreed. He came over the following Wednesday and worked diligently for two days to rewire our fusebox, ground all our outlets, put GFCI outlets where required, designate a new circuit to certain rooms, and make sure all other connections were good. He did several things for no charge as well, such as fixing a loose light fixture in the basement that had been loose for years, and secured some loose wires on our canned lighting in that atic.
I was here the whole time and Habib was a pleasure to work with. He answered any questions I had and took time to explain things to me as well.

Again, I would definitely recommend Safe Electric and Habib.

Some of the outlets in my kitchen stopped working. I suspected that it had to do with the construction going on outside my house, but I wasn't sure. I called Habib, and he came over that same day to give me a free estimate. The price he gave was reasonable and so I hired him on the spot. He was quickly able to determine what the problem was and fix. He gave me some good advice about a couple of other things he noticed while in my house; one item in particular was that the electric panel should always be covered, which ours wasn't. He then went out of his way to put our electric cover back on. He also cleaned up after himself, and even reset my kitchen clock for me before he left. When it came time to pay him, he asked for less money than he had originally quoted to me- wow!

He lives up to the 5-start rating! Rapidly diagnosed a knob and tube issue at my 100yo home and found the cure within about 15 minutes. I had another issue with some old wiring in my attic and he threw about 60 minutes at that one, and expertly solved it as well. Friendly, professional, on time and just a very nice person overall. Highly recommended.

I don't write reviews very often but I felt compelled to write one today. I called Safe Electric today, which happens to be a holiday. Habib answered the phone and set an appointment for the same day. He came to my house and gave me an estimate on installing a new ceiling fan and electrical box. His estimate was very reasonable. Habib ran into some strange and dangerous wiring in my house and spent at least an hour troubleshooting the problem. He finished the job in a timely manner and completely cleaned the work area. When I asked how much I owed, I expected there to be an extra charge for all the additional time he spend finding my wiring problem. I was shocked when he said it was the same price he originally quoted me! I then offered him a $60 cash tip for his trouble and he refused it! I highly recommend this company and hope I can have an opportunity to recommend him to a friend!

I called Habib for a job at a rental property i own. he gave me a quote for $350 and told me he would be at the property first thing the next day. when it was all said and done, he only charged me $300 and was in and out real quick. my renter said he would really recommend Habib again if there was another electrical fix we needed.

Safe Electric is the one to call if you ever have any concerns about electrical matters. Habib is wonderful (translation; professional, knowledgeable, experienced, reliable and reasonable)! He's literally saved our home twice! The first time he repaired our breaker box because our stovetop kept tripping the breaker. The second time we called him because our new double ovens had an electrical problem - snap, tzzzt, crackle, tzzzt, pop, smoke and (almost) the whole 9-yards of things you don't want to happen in your new oven (we just purchased in Jan-Feb of this year). I called the fire dept (kudos to the FD!) and they came out - no flames but plenty smoke. They checked to make sure no fire inside the wall (in back of oven) and that everything else was okay. They recommended we get an electrician out right away. Naturally we immediately called Habib. He came right over and was able to put our minds at ease, told us what needed to be done, and took care of everything. He said that problem could have burnt down our house (the FD said the same thing). We highly recommend Safe Electric and appreciate Habib for the great work he has done for us.
