Solinsky Lighting & Electric

Brad Solinsky does great work. He is very conscientious about his work quality and goes the extra mile to deliver that. I hired him for a project that was very hard for us to schedule, but he said that he could do it at the end of the day the next Sunday, after completing another job. Unexpected issues came up, which extended the time beyond what any of us would have expected. He worked straight through to 1:00 am to finish it!

I'd call that extra mile dedication. Jenny is a delight, too. You'll work with her trying to schedule Brad. A word of caution: don't wait until the last minute to try to book.

Here's the scoop:  I had an outdoor grill installed and the guys who did the grill install said the outdoor plug didn't work.  Not having any confidence with the electricians I'd used in the past, I found Brad via his sterling Yelp reviews.  I called him and we agreed to meet in the evening (no extra charge for the late hour) around 9 to fix the issue.

Brad arrived as promised and dove right in and fixed the problem, which was caused by another electrician far less competent than Brad.  

Brad is personable, professional and a supremely capable electrician and you will be well served by utilizing his talents to address your electrical issues.  He has become, after one visit, my new best friend!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!  Brad Solinsky, a master electrician, is amazing.  He's extremely knowledgeable, extremely thorough, and figures out the most complex electrical issues, no matter how challenging.  He's also very personable, a pleasure to deal with, honest and fair.  Got electrical issues?  Call The Juice Man!

Solinsky Lighting & Electric is a ten---wish I could give them ten stars!   Brad, the owner, is very professional and especially knowledgeable about all things related to electrical and lighting.  He is also a heck of a nice guy and obviously wants to please his customers... I being one happy camper.  
Note:  I called Brad on the one day we had exceptionally hot weather and of course my AC decided not to work.  This was at 7:30 pm and his website says he's open until 8 pm!  Lucky me.  Brad came over at 9 pm and repaired my AC asap!  He is a treasure of an electrician for anyone living in Marin County.  So glad I discovered him.

If you want a job done right, call Brad. I made the mistake of not using him on my re-model and now he's fixing the other guy's work. Don't be like me - call Brad first.

Found Brad through a trusty referral his mom Linda's Landscapiong  who was doing the landscaping at my restaurant, Great job BTW. Brad is professional, can explain electrical problems in either layman terms or the long version (he lets you choose), he is on time.

MY SITUATION
Brad helped me start and plan of lighting in phases at my restaurant working odd hours so we did not have to close.

PROBLEMS SOLVED
There were many areas that required specialty lighting such as back, under bar and wine cabinets with LED, Brad did these in phases and along with suggesting fixtures and ideas on how to wire around difficult situations. The end result a beautiful warm atmosphere that turned out better than ever I could ever imagine!
Brad also caught a potential fire hazzard, a hidden uncapped wire that had been sparking for who knows how long it's been there. Could of burned down the restaurant, he immediatey addressed the situation.  I need to say thank you for that and buy him a BMW or dinner!

RESPECTABLE GUY
Brad is a really nice guy, easy to talk to!. Shows up on time and if he is caught in traffic or whatever he let's you know with a call or text.

Great customer service throughout the entire experience. I had some tricky chandeliers that needed re-wiring. They went above and beyond to work with a third party to repair the situation, negotiate a warranty for us. Very professional and so nice! We are relieved to have found someone we can trust for all our electrical needs now.

Called this company and left message to be called back regarding electrical work. The message said to text as well, which I did. Got no response. Crossed them off my list.

We used Solinsky Electric a couple times before for a small jobs and they were great! So just recently we did a kitchen remodel and decided to use Solinsky for the electrical part and wow...are they an all around great company! Brad  Solinsky is a true professional and a great guy to work with.

Last year he renovated our whole outdoor lighting  system, including re-wiring, and mounting new fixtures up and down several sets of stairs. His work was done quickly, with attention to detail and the finished product looks and works great.

Just recently I came home to find the power out in the garage. After doing some trouble shooting of my own, I called Solinsky Lighting & Electric and Brad came out immediately. He diagnosed the problem, replaced the old faulty wiring and got us up and running without missing a beat. Now that is service. We're very glad to have someone nearby that we know we can rely on for all our electrical needs.

Brad and Jenny were great. After ordering an electric car, I needed to install a high powered charger and had 3-5 days left to get it installed before my car arrived. Got Brad to come, install it and after that came back when I was available (after hours) to conduct a load test to make sure that the charger wasn't using too much electricity. Here is why brad was great,:
- I had to cancel my appointment twice, he came after hours
- He arranged for the city to do an inspection of the work and get the appropriate permit
- He was able to fix another issue I had and all that with the right attitude!

Brad is younger than most electricians which means he knows more about recent technologies than other electricians - that's a plus if you are looking for better technology!

Brad is an awesome person and a superb, responsible electrician.

He's done a bunch of work at our house since we moved in here a couple years ago.

So nice to our kids and us.  A pleasure to have around.

The work is top-notch and he'll take as much time as needed to find the right solution and make things work.

Also has been willing to drop other things and come work at our house in pouring rain on a sort of emergency fix.

Cannot recommend Brad highly enough.  Peace of mind and comfort knowing things will be done right no matter what the issue or challenge.

These guys were amazing.  Totally professional.  Had the work done in no time and cleaned up as if it was their own house.  I had some extensive electrical work done and they were amazing.  Knew what they were doing and had it all done in no time.  KUDOS to Brad and all the rest of his crew.  I will never go anywhere else for electrical work again.

I called and left a message about my electrical problem and never got a return call.  Apparently, after hearing my message and the description of the problem, (which was no small thing), they weren't interested.  No way to run a business, large or small.

This is an amazing service company.  6 months ago I needed all my very old landscape lights checked and some needed re-wiring that included tunneling etc.  Brad said: no problem and meant it.  The fixtures were ancient and I expected to have to re-do all but Brad managed to find just the right bulbs, 'rehab' everything including some digging, re-wire the timer and it's as good as new. The price was very reasonable.  

Due to the power outage this weekend, the timer needed to be re-set.  I called Brad and he came to take a look and fix - an electrician that makes next day house calls, unreal!  :-)

Brad and Jenny are a great team, excellent communicators and very nice people.

Feel fortunate to have them as a local resource.

The last thing you want to hear from an electrician is I'm not sure this is going to work when you're installing a $60,000 tanning bed. And I heard it from more than one electrician until I found Bradford. Brad has a can do attitude, He worked around the stores hours using after hours so I had no down time with my other beds. For the last 4+ years Brad has installed 4 tanning beds and 2 airbrush machines into my salon. He knows what he's doing which is a huge relief for me considering these beds are my bread and butter. In addition I've used him at my home to install my outdoor lights and again his work is perfect. I highly recommend him.

I called Bradford Friday night and first thing Saturday morning he was already fixing our electrical issue. He identified the problem quickly and had everything back in working order within two hours. He was honest, efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will be calling him again whenever I have an electrical problem. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good electrician.

Brad has done some great work for me.  He's repaired indoor and outdoor electrical services, and has been very timely about it.  He recently returned to install a series of low energy spots - he's up on all the latest and greatest in light fixtures.  I am very happy with his service.

We've used Brad on two separate occasions and he's been awesome!  Both times Brad came out he was incredibly professional and very reasonably priced.  The first time he came, he fixed our outdoor lighting.  A week later, he came back to fix our doorbell and install a new outlet.  While he was here the second, he noticed I hadn't replaced the burnt out bulbs in a few of the outdoor lights he had repaired and he went and got them for me on his lunch break!! Totally went above and beyond and we are very pleased with his work. Will definitely use Brad any time we have electrical needs.

I called Solinsky Lighting originally as I was having issues getting timely responses from another company.  Jenny and Brad make a very good partnership, with Jenny providing very professional front line communication and quotes (and coordinating the team) and Brad providing detailed on-site inspections and sharing his recommendations/knowledge.  They were very respectful of my budget and ensured the work could be done in line with my expectations.  The electrician they appointed for my job completed the work to a high standard.  I would definitely go to these guys as my primary contact for electrical needs in the future.

Brad is extremely conscientious and thorough. He installed some new  lighting in my kitchen and hallway. He works hard and has such a great attitude. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again.

I negotiated a contract with Solinsky to repair a parking lot light fixture for my 65 unit condo association. After 10 weeks of doing nothing, footdragging and lame excuses I gave them one more week to execute the work. When that did not happen I fired them. Don't waste your time.

If I could give Brad of Solinsky Lighting & Electric 100 stars I would. Brad is the best on the planet. Period. I had called Divine first and after 3 calls and no response I gave up. Divine is good as I used them once before but if you don't call me back I don't care how good you are. So then I called Solinsky and Brad actually answered his phone! Not only that he came out immediately! We had flickering lights and it was no easy task to figure out what the heck was wrong. Brad is amazing. He worked into the late hours of night fixing a real mess.  He is an absolute joy to work with. Don't even bother calling anyone else.

Conscientious, thorough and makes the extra effort. Highest recommendation. The job turned out to be more complicated and time consuming than first thought and estimated, but Brad insisted on staying within the original cost. Would certainly use him again.

Brad is a very efficient, first-rate electrician. Among other things, he's extremely knowledgable about installing fast chargers for electric cars. He's also dependable, personable, has a deep understanding of the electrical code, and is a smart no-nonsense problem-solver. Highly recommended!

Brad Solinsky is one of the best hands on electricians I have ever used.  He can solve problems where the others give up.  And when he does it, it is done right -- no corner cutting tricks from him.  As a trouble shooter, he is outstanding. So if you have an electric job -- from small to big -- I would certainly recommend Brad.

Brad is the 'go to' guy for electical work.   He arrives when he says he will, he gets the work done efficiently, neatly and most importantly safely. Added to that he cleans up after himself, and is a pleasure to be around. And when he's done, I am always happy to pay the bill. What more can you ask for?

Brad and Jenny were awesome.  We wanted to install a generator and they handled the process for us from start to finish, and kept us completely informed throughout.  They let us know our options and the pros and cons of each, and performed the work quickly and efficiently.  They were a pleasure to work with and were conscious of our budget.  They went above and beyond our expectations in terms of work quality, responsiveness and helpfulness.  We have no hesitation in giving them an unqualified 5 star review.

I used Solinsky Lighting & Electric when I moved to a different home.  Brad Solinsky replaced some out-of-date electric panels, installed new light fixtures, and took care of grounding and other electrical safety issues.  I found working with Brad and his capable assistant, Jenny, to be easy and enjoyable.  They really went the extra mile for me in taking care of unexpected small problems, keeping the service fees reasonable, and doing a super professional job.  I will return to Solinsky Electric for any other electrical issues I encounter.

I'd give Solinsky Electric 2 thumbs up.  We needed to resolve an electrical issue before a final inspection and the original electrician wasn't available.  Time was critical. I called Brad and he came to the rescue.  He is knowledgeable, efficient and willing to work until the job is complete.  Brad even followed up after the inspection to see how the inspection went. Thanks to Brad and Jenny we passed the inspection.  It was  really pleasure to work with them.

I've never been to Solinsky Lighting but I called them a few days ago looking for a lighting product that I needed for an event that was starting a few hours later.  They didn't carry what I was looking for but Jenny graciously offered to do some research on where I might find it.  During the next hour or two, she contacted me several times to give me leads on where I might find the product, updating possible locations as necessary to correspond with my movement around the Bay Area as I ran errands and looked for the product!  She eventually found the product for me in another store, went there, bought several boxes of it for me, and offered to deliver them to the event because I was behind schedule!!!!  She ended up meeting me at a convenient location so I could receive the items.  I was able to reimburse her immediately but she had even offered to let me pay her later.  I was able to deliver the items to the event just in time, because of Jenny's incredible generosity and effort.  I couldn't believe how kind and helpful she had been, especially given that I wasn't even buying anything from her store.  I used to work in retail, and if I thought that we didn't have a product that was right for a customer, I would happily refer them somewhere else that might be able to help them.  Ever since then, I've considered that approach to be a sign of honesty, trustworthiness, and good customer service that makes me want to be a loyal customer.  Jenny not only demonstrated that level of customer service, but went way above and beyond that standard.  Thank you, Jenny!  I wholeheartedly recommend Solinsky Lighting & Electric!
