I was looking for a plumber to fix my broken toilet and called Rubio's Plumbing based on their yelp reviews. I spoke with Robert and set up an appt for 1pm. Robert showed up 30 min late and never even called to let me know he was running late. He inspected the toilet, told me what needed to be done and said he would send me an estimate for the cost of fixing it. After a couple of days, I still hadn't received his estimate, so I texted him asking if he had the estimate for the repairs. He never responded. As of the time of writing this review, I still have not heard back from him.

I was quoted a fee for 3 drains, on the phone before committing to do the job, I asked him if he would clean the drains and also said yes. When he arrived, he was on time and courteous and snaked all drains and cleaned them as agreed.  I even found a valve for my hose that needed replacing dated 1957.  I had purchased the wrong part, but we were  lucky as he had a new one in his truck.  Thank you so much for your service. Rubio's Plumbing repiped my entire house with PEX pipe. They were on time, professional, finished the job in a timely manner, cleaned up after themselves, and gave a fair price. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their services.

I have needed emergency plumbing services and Robert responded the same day even earlier then he had originally said.  I purchased a fixer upper almost 2 years ago and am realizing the plumbing is going to be needing a lot of work.  I've required Roberts services 3 times and all the time he was prompt, courteous and charged a fair price for the work.  I appreciate his estimates for future work so I can plan ahead and will eventually get our plumbing in tip top shape!

My shower drain was clogged and all this nasty black water started coming up out of it. The water from the bathroom sink was coming up into the shower too. I got onto Yelp to search for a plumber and read great reviews about Rubio's so I decided to try them out. I called Rubio's Plumbing and left a voicemail and I got a call back within a few minutes. I spoke to Robert- he was really nice, asked about the problem and gave me an eta as to how early he could get here. It was the same day so it was perfect for me. Fernando showed up and was also super polite and kind, just like Robert. He got to work right away and fixed my shower drain. I felt the price was fair and the customer service was right on. I will definitely use Rubio's again and I will also recommend them to my friends and family. Oh, and Fernando was really clean, he didn't leave a mess or anything. That's always appreciated.

Messaged Robert for a quote on a leaky outside hose bib. Responded quickly with a number to call and they sent Daniel in about an hour. Daniel was awesome.  Shut off water and replaced bib in about 30 min. Will definitely call them again. Gracias Daniel!

Requested installation of shower valves/ accessories. The guys were professional, clean and fast. Finally my restroom is workable and complete.

This review is a little over due but better late then never I always say haha! We had a bit of a toilet emergency after my son decided to throw baby wipes in the toilet :( Fortunately, Robert was able to come over quickly to get the problem fixed for the night because we also ended up finding out the pipe underneath was corroding (guess the wipes incident was a blessing is disguise). He ended up getting it in working condition for the night and the next day came over to replace the damaged pipe and even replaced my toilet! Overall happy with the prompt service and price seemed pretty resonable.

Thank you for your services Robert. Robert sent one of his team members to provide unclogging services for a slow draining shower I have been dealing with for a few days. They were very professional and courteous while providing their services. The total time was less than 20-30 minutes, explained what was clogging my drain and practices to help prevent clogs. My shut off valve for my facet wouldn't shut off completely. Call and spoke to Robert. Came over to take a look, gave me a good quote for the job. Seems like a good guy, no bad vibes at all.

Ok I had an appraisal done and they wanted to charge 3 times what Rubio's charged me, great work clean professional and over all affordable and fast, no doubt will always call them from now on

Called Rubio's plumbing due to a small leak in the bathroom. I spoke to Robert who was very professional. He came out in a timely manner to give me a free estimate. He was very communicative as to what needed to be done, how long it was going to take and the cost. He had one of his workers come out and fix the leak without issue. Gave me an invoice that listed all the work done and parts that was used. The price was very fair. If you're looking for quality work with fair pricing, then Rubio's Plumbing is a great choice. I had a major water piping problem. My house is old so the piping is old too.
The pipe for the water going out of the house was eroded.  This caused my kitchen sink to back up constantly.  Robert ran a camera and discovered the problem.  Plus I had previous work done on the sewer which was not done properly.   Robert had to explain to me step by step the work which had to be done. Needless to say I was having a meltdown.  It was a major repair.  They had to jack hammer 75ft of concrete to place the pipe.  Then come back to pour new concrete.  It took about 4 days to complete the work.   All during that time the bathroom was up and running.  One day only was I not able to use the kitchen sink.  My experience was all good working with Robert and his staff.  I appreciate working with a company that knows what they are doing.

Spent a lot of money on a plumbing issue we've been having for quite sometime. Robert was honest, fair and upfront from the beginning about what it was going to cost and how long it'll take to get the job completed. I'm happy I chose to go with this company. The only reason i cannot  rate Rubio's plumbing any higher is because the rating only go as high as 5 stars ! Woke up to water gushing out of my water heater, luckily it's outside. Called and they came over and fixed my issue that same morning. Luckily it was nothing overly complicated but the fact that they showed up so quickly was awesome.

Fernando stopped by to help with my bath tub clogging issues. He kept it very professional, cleaning his shoes before entering the house. He was able to resolve our problem in a fast and efficient manner. Thanks Fernando! Great service.

It was time to replace our kitchen faucet. I was happy to find a local, small business in my city. The apprentice that was sent over was nice but clearly lacked skill. One of my roommates needed to help him with tools and removing the original faucet. That's all fine, I understand he's learning and it's great he's learning a trade. However, in his confusion on how to remove the faucet, he was pulling on it so firmly that the sink was lifting up, and tore the seal that was gluing the sink to the granite. I understand things happen and he was learning, I just wish the company would have offered to mend that problem. I paid over $300 for a faucet switch out, and now I have to pay to repair the seal. It isn't  a big deal, or a big cost to do that myself, but for the sake of integrity and customer service, I'd assume that's a natural offer to the customer.

Since the apprentice was taking a while to complete the project, I couldn't wait for him to finish because I had errands to run. It being my only day off that week, I had to take advantage of my day and get other things done. His boss is the company owner, I believe, and he arrived to help his apprentice. They ended up needing to go to the store for parts. I was asked to pay the bill before the work was complete, as I was heading out to do other errands. I told the owner I would pay via Zelle once I returned, the work was complete, and I was able to inspect. A couple hours later I received a text asking that I pay. I had just gotten home, literally, and I still needed to make sure the faucet was ok. It all looked good, and I sent the payment. Not long after using the faucet, I realized the water pressure was not as it was before. The line had pockets of air, or something, and the water sort of spits when you turn it on and change it from hot to cold. I called and spoke with the owner and asked if would assess and remedy. He asked I resend my address and someone would arrive later that day. No one arrived. I followed up a week later, and no response.

It is disappointing the lack of integrity some  companies have. He asked for payment repeatedly, and of course I paid my due that same day. But when it came to returning to assess the issue that wasn't there before, I get ghosted. Not only that, but now I get to pay for damage they caused.

I don't like leaving bad reviews and I hardly ever do it. I'm pretty understanding that mistakes happen and it's not a big deal but being disregarded this way is insulting and dishonorable.

I used them four times - replace a shower cartridge, replace draining pipes under 2 sinks with new stopper, replace a toilet, and unclogged a garbage disposal.  Good and clean service.  Would use them again for future needs.

I searched Yelp for Plumbers in my area and came across Rubios Plumbing. I needed to have my bathroom sink to be unclogged and the trap pipes replaced. Also my toilet needed to be reseated and the flange replaced. Have to say you never know what kind of service you will receive by only relaying on reviews.

Robert came out and did a fantastic job! He responded promptly and arrived as  promised. His work is top notch, very satisfied. Prices are resonable, would I recommend...absolutely!

Robert responded to my call within 1/2 hour. Had a three valve moen shower that needed replacement. Robert had to order parts but parts were local so he was able to come the next day. Robert replaced with a new single component. Took about three hours to complete. Very professional and I would highly recommend.

Robert is absolutely great! So friendly and knowledgeable with years of experience! He really treated our plumbing problem like it was his own! We had old and very corroded pipes in our newly purchased home causing brown water and low pressure + more. As a family man himself, Robert knew the health risks this can cause us and our 3 month old baby boy. He came out right away to asses the damage and got it all under control. He re-piped our entire house at a very competitive price and with such great detail. I gave Rubio's Plumbing a call when my mother told me that her bathroom had a water back-up problem. Robert immediately sent out someone to check out my mom's issue. They gave her an estimate to fix her entire plumbing issue and also helped her unclog her plumbing that had something trapped in there. They offered great service and explained everything in detail to my mom. She was very pleased with their service! I would recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services.

Called Rubio's Plumbing on Wednesday to fix a broken toilet. He said that they would be out on Friday at 2 o'clock. He called at around 1 and said he was running late and would be there at 3 o'clock, which was fine. And that's the last I heard of him. Never showed up. Never called.

I called about a faulty shower that did not produce hot water.  After a couple of hours work and replacing the cartridge twice, no luck.  I paid $98 and not only was I left without hot water but no water at all.  I was told the repair would require breaking a wall and a hefty bill to replace the plumbing.  Before signing up, I called another plumber who took 5 minutes to adjust the cartridge.  The problem was fixed.

Disappointed that the problem was not identified earlier and when I asked about next steps it was upwards of $1k.

Called Rob about replacing a water softener and he was really easy to work with.  I had the new unit and sent him a few photos of the setup.  He texted me back a quote and came out a couple days later and did the job.  His price seemed fair based on a couple other quotes that I got.

Called this placed and gave our informations.   The man on the phone, mumbling and told me he will be there between 2-4pm.    He never showed up.    so I call him back around 5pm....   he tells me appointment is for tomorrow 2-4pm.    Ok, miscommunication, I thought.     next day comes,  NO SHOW.   NO PHONE CALLS.          Bad business..... I would not waste calling this place, I don't care how good the plumber he is.   very disappointed even though he has decent YELP reviews.

Called, explained my bathroom issue. They said a time frame they can be at my house, same day.  Punctual, clean, courteous,  professional,  and efficient.  Issue fixed in a jeepy.  Highly recommend them.

Found Rubio's Plumbing through Yelp and we are so glad we did. Honest, reliable, and does a good job of explaining everything.  And the prices were better than three other quotes i received for my fixes.  They replaced a laundry faucet box, added a descaler to my traditional water heater, and replaced a kitchen sink faucet.  We plan on using them to replace water heater and other work in the next few months.

We needed to replace a kitchen sink, drains and connections.  Robert was prompt with his initial response and showed up for the estimate and actual work timely.  The work was done quickly, professionally and it looked great when completed.  Robert wasn't the cheapest quote I received, but his professionalism was clear from the start and a cut above others I spoke to.

Honestly.  Just a fast responding honest plumber.  I called on a Thursday late afternoon and Luis the Champ !!! Was out in no time to unclog my drain -  due to my lovely employee who loves sticking wipes in the toilet.

So long story short my moms hot water stopped working so we called the gas company and they lit the pilot but where honest that it wasn't gonna last because the thermal couple was out. So she rode it as long as she could until it went out on the weekend I was with her. So I was like let's do this and fix it, I searched Yelp and Rubio's came up with amazing reviews which I had seeked out before for her toilet issues so I responded and his communication was nothing but prompt and attentive! He was on it and came out to do the estimate! He was even super awesome about if I wasn't available the next day that he would start the work and send photos etc because my mom being a reclusive senior is not the best communicator. It's been 2-3 months since I've received their service. I've been too swamped with having transitioned to a new job and overwhelmed with getting acclimated.

However, I promised myself that I would definitely leave a well deserved review for Mr. Robert & Mr. Fernando no matter what. I finally got a holiday break; thus, I just had to come on here to say how ecstatic I am that they solved my kitchen plumbing problems that plagued me for so long.

After 3 failed attempts by an alternate plumbing co. that left me with water leaking, pooling, and skeeting for nearly 1 year; Mr. Roberto dispatched Mr. Fernando, who took care of the entire problem on the same day I called. Mr. Robert graciously sent Mr. Fernando back the next morning to do a double check trouble shoot, to make sure everything worked perfectly & to finalize any touch ups.  

The rates were reasonable, the customer service was excellent, and they restored my kitchen faucet & piping to full utilization as good as new! My daily anxiety has been replaced with warm appreciation for them every time I use my kitchen sink. Now, I have a daily smile. I have already referred them to at least 5 other people.
