Acadian Plumbing

I'm not sure they deserve they're positive rating. I left all my information, address and phone number when I first called. The young woman i spoke to was very pleasant but unsure whether or not the owner serviced mobile homes. I asked that someone let me know whether or not they did. I waited and finally called back four hours later and was told by someone other than I spoke to ( possibly the owner) originally that he did not have my phone number but did have my address. Waisted four hours when I could have been searching for a plumber who was willing to help. Fortunately Richie's Plumbing not only set an appointment for the next day but fit the repair in on the same day I called. We were using bottled water for 5 days as we turned off the water when the leak was detected and i let them know this on first call. I certainly gave my
phone number to the pleasant young woman who answered the phone when I first called and it's my belief she passed that along to the owner and he didn't feel the need to show me the courtesy  of a return call. Would never recommend him to anyone.

I recently bought a house and during the inspection period, roots were found in my drain pipe. I made an appointment with Acadian Plumbing, and they were here two days later and fixed the issue within an hour. It was easy, affordable, and they gave me advice on how to keep the roots out. Highly recommended.

Fabulous Company that actually cares about providing quality service. They gave me options to choose from to resolve my plumbing problem and explained in common language what was wrong with my plumbing. I truly appreciate truthfulness and this company definitely believes in taking care of each client's home as if it were their own.

I called these folks and they wanted $125 to come and do an estimate. I'm trying to get a couple of bids for a job and that seems like a lot to me. I might've said yes to $50. The $125 is credited if they do the work but if not, you're out the $.

Yes, you're going to go write a bid and not get the work sometimes (I know I've been in this kind of business) but that's part of the deal.

They were truly awesome!  I've had plenty of people do repairs on my house.  However, they were the best.  The plumbers were extremely friendly and professional.  Moreover, they fixed a broken pipe in the ceiling that some other companies might have overcharged.   I will certainly use them for all my future plumbing needs.   I highly recommend them.

They were amazing.  Excellent work, quick service  and at a bargain price.  They came out the next day and fixed the problem quickly. Had the parts needed in the truck already so no extra time needed to order parts. He finished putting on the new clawfoot faucet in less than 30 minutes. So I asked if he could look at a couple other issues around the house. He was very accommodating and took care of 2 other small issues. Even had the part in the truck for that one too. Definitely recommend.

Had a pipe break in the ceiling in our kitchen. Acadian came out within just a couple of hours and fixed the broken pipe. Very professional people. Highly recommend their services.

Very professional staff from scheduling the appointment to the day of the service call.  Fast and efficient in fixing my toilet.  Costs were reasonable and tech was transparent with price as he asked permission to move forward with additional work.  Service tech adhered to covid precautions and cleaned up work area.  Definitely will use Acadian Plumbing for future work.

I cannot recommend this company.  There is a complete lack of communication and customer service.  I'm not quite sure about the quality of their work because they have not finished.  They have not shown up when scheduled (on a few occassions) and no calls were made to inform me that they would not be coming.  

No one on their team walked me through the job and what would be included/excluded. timeline, details, etc.  I emailed the owner a list of questions about the scope of the work and did not receive a response even after he acknowledged receipt of the email and said he would respond.  His workers were nice enough to answer my questions.

The times I have called their office to get status updates, their tone has been very rushed, bothered, dismissive and not very informative.  I got a lot of one to two word answers.  

They did some minor damage to the interior of the home and didn't tell me about it.  I found it when I went in to clean up after them.  It was roughly about a $10000 job and I expected much better communication and customer service.  I will not use them again based on this experience.  I am hopeful about the quality of the work, but only time will tell...

Our kitchen sink drain was clogged and we tried everything we could, including snaking it ourselves. The blockage was too hard to break through.  Called Acadian and explained issue to the dispatcher. I asked if they would bring out what was necessary to unclog it. I was assured they would.
Tech arrives on time with only a snake in his hand. I asked if that is all he has to unclog it. He replied that, yes, that is all they have. I told him I didn't think it would work since I had already tried it. He said If you don't want me to try, I won't, but it will be $125 for service call and I'll leave now.
My options now are to pay $125 for nothing, or $325 for what I don't think will work anyway. I went ahead with the $325 and said Maybe you know how to snake a drain better than I do. Well, he did not. He was just as unsuccessful as I was. He then went on to say that Acadian cannot fix the clog and I need to call another plumber. He then wrote the name of the guy who he thinks can fix it and his number on my ticket.  I paid him the $325 as I  agreed and he left. I did NOT call his recommended plumber but instead called Sturt Services who came out and fixed the issue within an hour with their snake, which is much better than the ones Acadian owns, obviously! I will never call this company out again, and why would you when they just charge you to give you a referral of someone else.

Yesterday was the first time I've needed a plumber since moving to New Orleans, so of course it was time to stress about finding someone dependable and reasonable. Fortunately, Acadian put my worries to rest.

I called the office number late in the afternoon. After 4 or 5 rings (on no, this isn't good) a man answered and explained that the office was closed, but he was the owner on his way home. He listened to my problem and said that the next day's schedule was pretty full, but he'd try to work me in. When I called the office this morning, the owner answered, remembered me, and said You're on the schedule for today.

Only three hours later, two nice dog-loving guys arrived and fixed my toilet right away, explaining that the hard water here wreaks havoc with plumbing fittings. The price was more than my sweet, independent plumber in Kansas City, and I might have been able to fix it myself with YouTube. But I don't want to do stuff like that, and getting it fixed right away by courteous, professional people absolutely made it worth the price.

I purchased a bidet toilet seat from Amazon, and did a self install and noticed a leak. It was pretty late, so I turned off the water to the toilet and waited until the next morning to call Acadian.

The lady who answered the phone was really friendly, and said she could have someone come out between 9 AM and noon that day.

I was really surprised they could make it the same day.

Woody gave me a call at around 8:20 and was at my home 20 minutes later, masked up and ready to go.

The toilet was leaking because the original threading was old on the inside of the toilet tank, so he replaced that, and now I don't have to hold down the toilet flusher the entire time the toilet flushes.

I highly recommend Acadian. They were fast and efficient!

Everyone showed up with a mask on, got the job down and cleaned up after, these guys where awesome and the price was lower than I expected.

Had a leaky faucet/pipe in my bathroom. Called another plumber, their estimate was $900 because it would be a 4 hour job. On top of that, they wouldn't be able to fix the leak till the next day. The next day came, but the plumber did not.

Today I called Acadian at 8 AM. I was a bit worried because they charge for their estimate. 10 AM rolls around, the leak is fixed (they even had to drive to get a part), they cleaned up their work, most importantly the total bill was only $240.

I hate dealing with tradesmen because I know nothing about plumbing etc. but with these guys the whole process was quick and painless.

Here's the deal... I'll deal with anybody who's on the up and up. I put in a request on Yelp they answered. The lady was a little short on the phone but I just ignored her, however the boss was a super nice and very easy to deal with, his son came out the next day called ahead of time, was also very kind, and so was the other worker. I paid them, they finished the job in less than an hour, now they're on their way to their next job. I got the services that I needed...perfect! Why can't everybody else be like this.

Stop trying to scam people and take their money do your job, get paid for it and move on which is exactly what Acadian plumbing did and I appreciate it! No games, no gimmicks, and no tricks! Just installed the waterline.

I reached out to Acadian Plumbing after finding them on Yelp and they were wonderful! I spoke with the receptionist about my problem and offered to send her some photos of my issue. She quickly passed them along to the owner who called me back in less than 20 minutes. We discussed the issue and arranged for someone to come out - they guys who came were very polite, did great work, cleaned up everything and my total bill was about half of what someone else had quoted me. Hope I do not need to use them again for anything else too soon but definitely will for my next plumbing need!

I've used this company 2x and each time the service has been quick, polite and the problem was solved. Pricewise, I didn't feel I overpaid for what I got. It's not some fly-by-night place either. They've been around for many years.

We had our washing machine start to back up and leak water everywhere due to a blockage in our piping. I called Acadian and they were able to send someone out that day! We thought we wouldn't be able to wash clothes for at least a week! The guys came out and were awesome and professional as always. They took care of the problem and the pricing was very reasonable. Taz and Nathan came out and they are very honest, professional and trustworthy and didn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need. Glad we have a great reliable company we will use from here on out! We've used them before and have been impressed every time. Definitely worth giving them a try.

Dependable, knowledgeable & respond timely. We have used Acadian for years from major to minor issues.

Acadian's crew showed up on time and had all the necessary parts and tools. They were masked as is necessary these days and the work was done quickly.  They cleaned up before leaving.
I have called them twice for different work and have been satisfied both times with good work quickly done and at a fair price.
Definitely recommend you call them.

Called them this morning and the office lady Tina was very nice   They came out and promptly and professionally fixed two valves for my washer. My experience was excellent.  Eric is a first rate master plumber.  The rest are very excellent.  Six star rating

Made a same-day appointment. They called before arriving and fixed my leaking toilet and repaired a few other issues with my toilet I'm so excited to see my bill for next month because my toilet isn't leaking anymore

Trust these guys. They were much faster than any other plumber and they fixed it. And they also were very helpful and explained the issue.

We had a leaking pipe in our upstairs bathroom and called Acadian.  Once at our house they quickly found and repaired the problem.  I highly recommend Acadian and will use them in the future.

Beware

Receptionist was very rude and her attitude was like she was doing me a big favor by scheduling me. Normally I couldn't care less but her condescending tone was over the top. If the owners treat people like that then I don't want anything to do with them.

Called for an emergency and made an appointment promptly. The service men were courteous and professional. They fixed my issue in no time.

They were prompt, clean, courteous, informative, and did their job quickly and efficiently.  The fees were fair, and the results are above expectations  Highly recommend this company! Tina is the perfect representative!

These guys saved me quite a bit of money and heart ache by finding a leak solution none of the other 3 plumbers I consulted with explored.  He came in and really took the time to find the easiest best solution in a timely manner.  He also walked me through my options and came in under the estimate.  Great company to work with.

Second time I have needed a plumber....water heater leaking and I called Acadian.....Eric took my call, followed up ASAP and this morning 4 guys showed up -headed up to the attic and in 2 1/2 hrs had me ready to go with a new heater. Eric even folded up my drop cloths....shook them out outside...very considerate, they all wear masks...price was very reasonable. These are my go to guys....two neighbors already asked for their number.

Got Acadian as a recommendation from Bevolo as part of a gas lamp install for my home and have been impressed enough to use them for additional plumbing needs.  They are responsive, punctual, and reasonably-priced.
