I found a wet spot on the floor in the family room adjacent to the kitchen and thought I was facing my 3rd slab leak. Since the previous experiences were horrible, I did an extensive research and decided to try RT Olsen. It was a great call. Bob came out that day and quickly found a leaking pipe in the wall. The water had ran along the wall into the kitchen behind cabinets and I needed to get the insurance company involved. He fixed the pipe for a great price, referred me to an experienced EMS company to deal with moisture issues and took pictures and dealt with my insurance adjuster in a professional manner. I decided to do a whole house repipe and add a water system Bob recommended, also for a very reasonable price. The whole project was about a week worth of work and all his employees were excellent, courteous and did a good job of cleanup and wall repair. I am very happy with the end result and plan to call Bob again for future work.

Olson pluming did a huge installation of a septic tank and water main. My property is on solid granite and not many plumbers even wanted to tackle the job. Bob got it done. Almost 3 yrs later there was a complication and Bob stood by his work and came out and fixed the issue. Very honorable outfit.

If I can give this plumbing company zero stars I would. I had a slab leak, and this company came out for leak detection. I was told that I have two leaks and they cut two lines. They were charging almost 6500 for rerouting two lines. My insurance company also brought their own plumbers and did their leak detection and they found only one leak. The adjuster called RT Olson a fraud company and he almost declined my claim. The insurance refused to fix the two cut lines. They only covered one line and I had to pay for the other line out of pocket. I asked RT Olson to fix the other line that he cut and was not leaking but he refuse to take responsibility. Then he send me an invoice for the leak detection and threatens me to take it to collection and add extra fees.
I can also share my insurance report about RT Olson.

BTW this company got me no money instead the adjuster suspected a fraud claim and he almost denied my claim. I had to use a different company which has done the work for less than what RT Olson charged.

Just finished work for a leak near my water meter. I was looking around for a company that was reasonable but can get the job done in a timely manner. I called and was given an estimated time of when the tech would get to my home and was given options on how I can fix the issue. Even though the amount was over my budget I was given options on how I can be assisted the same day as water is a necessity. I was approved with some financing options and Adam completed the work promptly. I feel confident the work was done with care and correctly.

I had a slab leak that ended up needing to be submitted into my homeowner's insurance. Bob and his team made the stressful experience much easier on me. I was walked through the whole process and kept informed. They had a solid and cohesive team of people to get the plumbing, demo, and remodeling done.

I could not be any more happy with the service and quality of work Gavyn did on one of our spare bathrooms. This guy went beyond the call of duty making sure everything was perfect. Our tub's cartridge was STUCK and we had no hot water. Gavyn did everything in his pay book to get it out. It took awhile but he did such a good job I had him upgrade all the tubs fixtures. I've found the only Plumber I'll ever use.

Honestly, don't even bother with the other guys. This is one company you can trust to do great work at a fair price.

We had such a great experience with RT Olsen in the past that when we detected moisture in our house we knew we had to reach out to them again. Gabe and team were incredibly accommodating and fantastic to work with. They came out as quickly as possible (they were ready before we were)  and held our hands through the whole process. We wouldn't recommend using anyone else!

Bob was Very professional on time and responsive. He exceeded my expectations and educated me on things that I had no idea that can benefit my house and my family with the water purification system that we are going to install after our repipe. Man what a long process but it all worked out. We had a water leak in our wall from old pipes which resulted in an insurance claim. No other plumber would help us out that night, but Bob dropped what he was doing in diamond bar and drove to Yucaipa to fix our leaky pipe and get our water back on temporarily. Then the real work began. We decided to do a whole house repipe so this would never happen again, Bob and his crew were quick and efficient, the whole house repipe was completed in three days. They handled the mold mitigation, installed a new shower/tub combo in the damaged bathroom, and drywall repair. RT Olson plumbing also stood by the quality of their work. Unfortunately we had issues with the quality of drywall work, which was not RT Olson's fault, and Bob had everything repaired and redone to our satisfaction out of his own pocket. That shows me that he and his company care about his customers and the quality of work. Thank you RT Olson Plumbing!

Another plumbing issue resolved by RT Olson quickly! Bob was very nice on the phone, got out same day to take a look. Chris came the next day and was there all day working and cleaned up nicely before he left. Our go to plumber now!

I'm having new baseboards put throughout the house . The contractor pulled a board off the living room wall behind the kitchen wall and the next day my 2 day old carpet was soaked 3 ft out . One of the nails had pierced a water line and had been there for 20 years until the baseboard was pulled off .
I called 4 companies and everyone was booked . This company called me back 20 minutes later and said they had a cancellation and Adam showed up right away and had the problem fixed within 2 hours !!

Bob was amazing. He came in one time to our location to give estimate. We decided to go with handyman and not a plumber to reduce cost. But the handyman messed up. So we called him again and he came to rescue us. And we still messed up with the filter tha we had to put (we bought the wrong one in rush). We needed to reorder, so Bob worked with us did what he could do the best. We then waited for another part to come. He planned to come again and fix it for us. Very courteous and helpful plumber. You don't find licensed plumber who doesn't charge for these many trips. He is totally awesome.

The company is very professional, reliable, efficient and trustworthy.  I had a leaky water softener pipe and Bob, the owner came out the next day to assess the situation, provide options and immediately emailed me quotes the same day. A day later Kyle installed a whole house water softener system, and then a few days after, Shane installed a tankless water heater.  The process was smooth and easy and the plumbers were very polite and prior to their arrival I got a  text notification stating they were on the way.  I was impressed with the communication and how thorough and knowledgeable they were.  Highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.

Kyle was extremely polite and friendly,, my kitchen faucets hot water wouldn't wrk and he recommended changing the angle stop found that the O ring was broke and it was in the actual faucet, he pulled it apart and found the little pieces that was blocking the water, I paid 70.00,thank you for the honesty at times u get hustled ,and no one appreciates that,, honesty will and fair prices will always benefit the company with loyal clients and the customers who find someone they trust thsnks again

This company was great from start to finish! I called Bob at 7:30am and had someone here by 10am. Dan fixed the problem and was out the door in less than an hour. I can't thank these guys enough for helping us with our toilet issue! Really great, friendly, honest, service.

Olson, and his team are the real deal. I had a water main leak that was repaired at a fair price. Bob told me exactly what they had to do to fix the leak, and this helped ease my mind.
Bob kept me up to date on the day his team would be out, and who would be coming out to fix the leak.
When his team arrived, they were dressed professionally, and made sure I had enough water before they turned off the main.
They had to dig a trench in my yard to get to the main pipe, however when they were done, they tried their best to put the lawn back as it was.
Overall, I am satisfied with the work, and very impressed with the customer service. Hopefully I don't run into anymore plumbing issues, but it's nice to know I have someone I can call in the future that will be honest, and dependable.

I have employed them for two projects so far. One was nasty, with a gas leak that required a new pipe to be run. The old gas pipe ran under a concrete slab. Since you really don't want to dig under a concrete slab (who knows what else is under there - 50 year old house), the alternative was through the attic, to the gas water heater, and to the gas stove. Bypassing the old line that was run underground.

The other one was hydrojetting some main lines. Great price, and going through some tree roots that were so bad, they got a sewer snake stuck (another company). Snaking is cheaper, but sometimes you just have to pay the money and hydrojet. It makes the pipes look like new. We did a camera at the same time.

Bob is the owner and is very responsive. He is a great asset to anyone with a house, apartment, or business in the Riverside area. Bob has an amazing roladex, and can refer really good people to help out in other areas.

Professional, Knowledgeable, Experienand Prompt Service

We had Adam from RT plumbing come out today to install a toilet because ours was broken and it also wasn't installed properly by the original installer. Adam, the installer arrived on time as scheduled. He was very personable and knowledgeable. It was supposed to be a simple job, in and out in 30 minutes tops, but there were some unexpected issues that arose that he had to troubleshoot that had nothing to do with them. He worked hard for over 3 hours, got the parts handled that we needed for everything to function properly. I'm glad we used RT Plumbing. This is was the 2nd time we called them in a bind. The first time was on a holiday and they came right out to assist us. I figured a good review was in order because they are very responsive, knowledgeable, and professional.

I looked at several different review web pages  before deciding on RT Olson. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive, but I went with this company based on the consistency of the reviews. I'm happy to say that I'm another happy customer. Bob will give you a quote over the phone but I suggest asking for an invoice so you know the bottom line. His workers were great! They showed up on time. Kyle and Manny did go over and beyond the scope of the job. They even showed me some tricks of their trade. Great workers and great guys! I no longer have to be searching the web for a plumber, I know who to call.

I could not have asked for a more professional service.
We had a below slab leak that we caught early. RTOP was able to get on the calendar as second plumber evaluation.
Kyle, was the service tech to respond. As a retired contractor and firefighter i have seen both ends of contracting and public service. Kyle knocked it out of the park from his first evaluation.
We were expecting a 10k dollar plus repipe, and worried of how to absorb this hit. Kyle was able to reassure us he could find and stop the leak. Typically i would have blown that response off and went with another. He showed great humility, experienced knowledge and didnt go over the top. Within an hour he was able to pinpoint the leak and stop it. As well as express the various types of repair's . Because of the available money at hand and with his exceptional knowledge and reassurance we went with a pipping reroute. Kyle nailed it. Perfect craftsmanship and attention to detail and homeowners concerns. RT Olson may have a new candidate for ownership. Thank you young man. Excellent job.

We have always had an amazing experience with RT Olson! Bob has come to our rescue several times over the years. Recently we had a ceiling leak and the technician Gabe came and was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly and efficiently! Gabe, Max and the entire crew were all very efficient, knowledgeable and kind. I never minded having them around and always felt safe and secure when I was gone. Gabe is extremely knowledgeable and responsive. He always had an answer it took care of things even beyond his scope of duties!! His entire crew is fabulous! Max stayed late and made sure the entire house was clean and tidy when they left. We ended up doing a whole house repipe and are very satisfied with the outcome!! It's never pleasant to have a plumbing issue, but these gentlemen made it bearable.

Absolutely fantastic!!  Called Bob to find out if he could help us because we had a leak in our hot water line.  He sent Chris out - he was there in less than an hour - and within a few minutes the problem had been identified.  Now to be fair, this was the not the first plumbing company that we called.  The first one, sent out by our insurance company, wanted us to remove the kitchen pantry in order to access the hot water line.  Chris was able to figure out there was a small crawl space below the hot water heater and that a reroute of the line could go through the attic.  No costly, and unnecessary, expenses needed to get the repair done.  When the insurance company okayed using RT Olson, Bob sent people out and estimated that the repair time would be about 5 hours.  2 hours later, they were done, we had hot water back and all the dry wall that had been removed was nicely stacked so that it could be reattached and the walls easily repaired.  Fantastic!!  Will use them again and recommend them to anyone who asks!  If you have a plumbing problem - call Bob first!  Fair pricing, great service, friendly and knowledgeable repair people.  Thank you!!

I was impressed that upon my initial call for a water leak, the company owner, Bob Olsen, responded within two hours to investigate the water leak source.  The leak was promptly detected and stopped.  Bob explained the process as he worked.  During his service call he detected that my houses' original 20 year old water pressure regulator was worn out and allowing very high pressurized water to endanger my inside pipes, appliances, and water valves.  Water leaks suck and cause tons of expensive damage if not caught early.  I'm glad I was able to take preventative action by replacing the regulator.  The work was done in a clean and precise manner.  All of the workers that came to my house were professional, knowledgeable and friendly.  The drywall contractor that was used for the leak damage did excellent professional work and I was able to have an interesting political conversation with him.  This year, 2020, has been a dark spot for everyone but this service call brought a little positivity for me and my family.  Thanks Bob.

Although our plumber David was awesome, they were overpriced as a whole.  They charged about 100 dollars more than I should have paid.

This is my third time using RT olsen. They always do an amazing job professional courteous clean and precise. I just had all my plumbing changed under my kitchen sinkin preparation for a new dishwasher. Shane was wonderful.

Hired RT Olson to install a bath and shower faucet. After charging me $75 to assess the job, workers arrived two days later to complete the requested work. (A day later than originally stated) This Delay cost me $500 with my contractor who could not continue working due to the delay caused by RT Olson Plumbing.

Prior to beginning the job, we discussed in detail where the fixtures should be. The plumber (Ruben) told me that the parts and locations where the faucets would be placed, were satisfactory.  Access to the plumbing was wide open. This would make the installation easier.

After working on the installation for several hours, Ruben advised me that he could not install the tub handles in the spot we agreed on. He overlooked the fact that a support beam was obstructing the passage of the faucet handle. He had already drilled a large hole compromising the area that was prepped for tile. (Photo #1)

The shower area had also been meticulously prepared and hot mopped to ensure there would be no leaks. The bath/shower is located on the second floor. Ensuring that it is water tight is imperative! Ruben failed to place any protective paper or canvas down prior to beginning his work. Large splinters and wood chips fell onto the recent hot mopped surface and were ground in by the worker stepping on the debris grinding it into the fresh tar.

I was charged $475 for the installation and job assessment. When I expressed my concerns to Bob the owner, he told me that he was busy grilling steaks with his family and made no effort to come out to the job site to see the work I was charged for. I exchanged numerous texts expressing my displeasure with the work. And was told mistakes happen.

Use this company at your own risk ! They do not accept responsibility for incomplete/incompetent work and will gladly charge you premium prices for inferior work.

My tenants had complaints of shower temperature becoming cold. RT OLSON PLUMBING recommended a couple solutions and even worked with my budget for the rental unit. I will recommend highly to my neighbors Gabriel And Max from RTO.

Thank you, Bob for the help!  Very professional.  Fixed a deep kitchen sink clog... I tried to free the drain myself with a plunger and made a big mess... plunged the sink as hard as I could, blew the seals and made all of those plastic pipes leak under the kitchen cabinets... this clog was stuck good.  Bob saw us the same day, gave a fair quote ('fair' meaning based on my online research and past experience with plumbing repairs), snaked our drain and we were back to normal when he was done.  Subsequently, I would recommend RT Olson for any plumber work again!  Note... for the price of plumber service... you could buy your own ginormous snake and clear your drain but where would you store all these tools, only needed about once every few years?  ...did I mention about asking for Military Discount!

Gabriel came out and replaced my pressure reducing valve. The work was done quick, and the finished product was far better than what was there before. I highly recommend them!

It's bosses like him that make a difference in their employees and in turn their employees make a difference out there in the job field. He is a fourth generation plumber, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Amazing experience! Bob answered all of my questions and scheduled an appointment right away. He showed up on time, did his evaluation and proceeded on fixing the issue right away. This company has terrible customer service.  They worked on a tub vibe for 2 weeks and could not repair it. They even sent out several plumbers.  They made the problem worse. I had to call another plumber to fix their mistakes, which took 2 hours. I had to put out extra money to correct their mistakes, therefore I refused to pay. They threatened to sue and ruin my credit so I paid.  Through their mistakes, I was inconvenienced for 2 weeks. I had to go outside and turn on and off the water every time my family (3 girls) and I used the bathroom.  NO INTEGRITY!
