I had an emergency, back up clogged drain and found them on Google. Sal quoted $350 for everything, which required snaking the pipes; hydro-jetting and using the camera. Now, at this point I have called everyone in San Diego for their estimates..could not believe the insane amount that they would charge just to come out with the same equipments ($700-$1000 job).

I came home from work to find water flowing onto our kitchen floor from under the fridge!  It sounded like a waterfall and the house was quickly flooding.  Sal was over within half hour and quickly diagnosed the problem after we pulled out the fridge. Busted water line!  He quickly replaced it and we were back in business.   Cannot recommend them enough!

Requested a quote but their reply was to try and schedule someone to come out first thing tomorrow.  When I asked again for a quote I was told $650 for hydrojet when it states $350 on their yelp add. No telling what they would have changed if they actually came out. No thanks.

I was in need of a last minute plumber for my kitchen sink and after calling 10 places they were able to help me right away.

They were super quick in accepting the job and obtaining the information even at 4:30pm! Most places are set to close at 5pm or kick in their overtime, but they were super helpful and great on price!

They showed up in 30 mins got right to work in fixing the problem. They were experts of their craft and I was able to obtain some helpful knowledge from them to prevent this issue from happening again.

I was billed for 1hour at $122 for this job, but they were done in 30 mins. Other places couldn't get someone out until the following day or were quoting me over $200 due to overtime.

Overall 5 stars!! They were responsive, quick, and courteous. Great on pricing and they accept all cards. Reach out to them first if possible.

Hard to review the wrk as they no showed on us 3 days in a row. Each time they never called to say they weren't coming. First time we called and they said they had an issue with their booking system and lost the appt, second time said they didn't have time (courtesy call would have been nice since one has to rearrange work etc to wait for a plumber).
Last chance we rescheduled because they offered a discount on the toilet repair for the inconvenience and then never showed again. Don't waste your time waiting on this company - horrible costumer and disrespectful of your time.

Sal came out to my parents house at night the day before thanksgiving. I didn't think I was going to find anybody so late. Sal was able to use his camera gear to inspect the kitchen drain line and provide his honest opinion. He was able to unclog the drain which was filled with built up grease over the years. He saved our thanksgiving for this year. He gave us a suggestion to hydro jet the drain line to wipe out all built up grease in the line. Sal is very professional, honest and a hard working family man. I would definitely guarantee him to anybody who's looking for an awesome plumber. I'm definitely going to give his contact info to my family when they need a plumber. I started a DIY bathroom remodel and after the demo found a few items that were over my skill set. I was referred to Sal Jr and Sr who were prompt to review the job, provide a quote and work me into their schedule; I was schedule critical with the floor already removed.  

They replaced a large / final section of cast iron which the previous owners left me and moved a gas line to give us extra cabinet space.  I also had them install the new copper lines which saved me a day.

Sal Jr. is recently licensed but has been doing plumbing with his family for years.  I look forward to them growing their business.

I had an emergency at my house. Basically roots stuck at my sewer pipe and water didn't go through.  I called those guys, they told me that they can fix it, but they need to have an access to the pipe, so the toilet itself has to be removed. To safe some money I've done that by myself, call that guys again and they cleaned the pipe. Now it works perfect. Guys don't mind to share the information, they understand that you might have a hard time and helping you out. They arrived on the first call within 5 hours, which I wanna say not bad.

RDZ was prompt and professional in responding to my request to replace my garbage disposal. Because water was flowing out of the bottom of the disposal, I thought that was the only issue.
Later, when I was washing dishes is became obvious that I needed the drain cleared. RDZ returned to determine what was needed to clear the drain. I admired the patient, thoughtful problem solving of the plumber.  My house is 100 years old and does not have a clean out for the kitchen. No problem. The plumber got on the roof and snaked the vent a good 50 feet to clear the clog. Many thanks for a job well done!

Sal knowingly took my buckets that did not belong to him. He said he would call me back a couple times and never did. He is not professional.

Like everyone in construction, they're super busy, but yet responsive. Saw that they were a family local business and turned out happy with their customer service. My problem turned out to be a bigger one after addressing the main drain clog up. I made sure to pay attention to them while they explained how it could happen and saw their honesty. Love supporting local businesses, keep up the good work!

Incredible. They were able to come out for a late night water leak after a botched fridge install and took care of my problem in minutes. After that, I walked around the house with a laundry list of problems and was quoted a very fair and reasonable price to solve everything. The next morning they showed up ready to work and put a solid four hours in fixing all of my problems.

I will absolutely be calling RDZ again when I need work done in the future.

I usually don't leave reviews but I was personally compelled to leave one because these people are awesome! So: Our main line suddenly got backed up out of nowhere at 6pm - so I frantically searched and called for plumbing services. Most of the places I called charges an after hour fee (as if accidents happen only in business hours. Lol) on top of the regular fee for repair. When I called RDZ, they assured me that they will give us fair pricing and they will never charge extra just because it's afterhours and worked their schedule with helping us out the last minute. For this family owned business- they definitely have excellent customer service, very competitive and fair pricing, and professional service. Definitely a recommend! Please give them a call and you will not regret it

Went through 3 different companies before meeting these guys. They ended up snaking my drain after I removed the tub but this was a tricky situation and I gave them a heads up a few days before they showed up. They explained how they were coming up with ideas and trouble shooting together before even meeting me. These guys have passion for what they do and do not settle for some half ass attempt. They see it through and are critical thinkers that don't quit. I am highly impressed by these gents and they are my new plumbers for life. By the way, best prices in town. Mainline was clogged. Came out in timely manner and gave me a few recommendations to clean out. Sal listened and understood that I have old clay pipes and he'd need to be sensitive to it. Also, showed all the issues with the camera. I feel confident about the work and will definitely use again.

My toilet which seems to clog frequently was clogged after a 12 hour work shift and I was unable to get it ynclogged after multiple attempts. I called just to get an estimate and make an appointment for the next day. Sal answered immediately and was  able to come the same night and thankfully gave me a very fair estimate over the phone! Very responsive. Price is reasonable. I wanted kitchen drain snaked but they recommended water jet, good thing I listened. I am having my drain snaked every 6mos to 1 year, but it's been 5 years since they water jet and it's been good so far.

Really a great team of honest guys here! Worked on a huge project with the owner Sal and his cousin Pablo. Both truly great guys that take pride in their work. Sal's #1 priority is customer satisfaction. He went way above and beyond the call of duty to make me happy. He ended up doing over 3 times the work he originally quoted me for and when it was all said and done he didn't ask for a penny more. I expected the bill to double and it didn't. He stuck by his original estimate even though he had invested 2 guys for 8 solid hours! He lost his ass on his estimate and still honored it!

Called to request clean-out of drain line under driveway using hydrojetting.  The RDZ team responded quickly to all of my questions and concerns.  Job scheduled right away and team arrived on time.  Work performed quickly and effectively.  Reasonable price! I needed an emergency plumber for my bathtub not draining and these people were amazing!! I will only use them from now on. They were right on time and took 15 minutes and cleaned up after themselves which wasn't necessary. They even wiped down my bathtub before they left. I needed a drain added immediately,  RDZ came to the rescue.  They worked into the night to get the job done in a day. I was super impressed with the dedication and quality of the work.  It was a big job, and I wasn't able to be there while the worked,  so they took pictures of the job while it was being done and shared them with me when I got home.  They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with their work.  RDZ plumbing and drains are super professional.

I had a clogged kitchen drain and called at 7:09 am. They were able to come at 9:30. He arrived on time and communicated appropriately. The line was clogged with grease and needed to be cleared out. He charged me what he said he would and showed me the results with a camera. Professional, timely and did a great job.

Recently we experienced a plumbing issue over the weekend which led to water backing up into the toilet & bathtub. I reached out to multiple drain clean out services in San Diego late afternoon on a Saturday (4:00 PM). The phone was answered by a Real Human being and not a answering machine. The lady on the phone introduced herself as Sandra and asked me a few questions related to my problem. She told me her guys can be out to my residence in approximately an hour.

An hour later a 2 man crew arrived and got to work in finding the root of the problem. Well the main line in my house is old as rocks. Made of cast iron the lumen of the pipe had reduced down to 2 inches and was clogged.  The technician performed a camera inspection and showed me the problem area.

For immediate resolution of the clog they were able to use a high flow water jet to clear the issue. However I felt I needed to make sure this issue does not occur again hence I asked for solutions to my real problem.

The RDZ discussed the different options to repair the old Cast iron line. After proper explanation of the work I asked if they could come back Sunday AM for a proper quote. To which they agreed and set a time for 0900 on Sunday.

My Technician Manuel showed up on time Sunday AM and started to look at my current line condition and kept me informed of his findings.  After looking at my options It was clear that the price point was fair for the amount of work that needed to be done to have access to the old cast iron line, clean it out and place a new liner inside the line to avoid digging up my whole front yard.

I agreed to the work quote and as anyone would feared they wouldn't be able yo start till a later date. However to my surprise Manuel said he would start immediately.

Using proper tools and properly protecting my front yard turf, he starting excavating access to the line. Manuel and his team spent 4 days working 8-10 hours a day and at the end delivered excellent results.

I found This company to be a family business built on some good values. I had an amazing experience with the communication, timely response and professionalism exhibited at all times by all team members.

I personally recommend RDZ because I've worked with other big brand plumbing companies in San Diego with fancy white gloves but they deserve a chance at your business.

At the end I am a happy customer with a resolved issue and a new Clean out which was buried and no accessible.

It was Saturday and we had a small toilet leak at a rental I own. Went to Yelp and requested a quote from my usual plumber and 5 or 6 other plumbing companies. RDZ Drain Services responded first with a reasonable quote. Checked their rating (excellent) and called them. Sal came that afternoon and fixed the problem. Thought it would be a simple wax ring replacement, but it turned out after careful inspection that the entire toilet had to be replaced because of an almost invisible hairline crack in the water tank. I was amazed that he was able to find the real problem. Anyway, we got a new toilet at Home Depot and Sal installed it that very afternoon. Everyone happy! Fair pricing, fast response, excellent work, and they're nice people. RDZ is now my go-to plumber.

I had the main line clogged and not to mention black water coming out of the shower and toilet. I called a couple of family owned companies who were ridiculously priced ! So much for family owned we take care of you bs. Salvador came and took care of the issue i support local businesses specially when its really family owned. Very clean and affordable! I can't thank Sal and Pablo enough. They are literally our saviors. My boyfriend and I finished up attempting to install a bathroom sink until we turned the water back on and the handle broke off and the water bursted out. It was 10:30 PM at night and we were seriously holding onto the valve with dear life. Our bathroom was flooding. I called RDZ and they came immediately. Seriously the best customer service, helped us out immediately, and they're an expert in the field. If you are looking for plumbers, look no further. THEY are your guys. Our bathtub drain backed up on a weekend.  We requested an estimate on Monday morning through Yelp.  RDZ responded quickly and set up an appointment for the same afternoon. They even arrived five minutes early!  In less than  1/2 hour the drain was flowing again.  There was no pressure to expand the scope of the repair.  We are very satisfied.

Our kitchen sink was backed up. I called at 11 and Randy came out a few hours later and tried to snake the pipe but the build up was too bad so he called Salvador and they jetted the pipe until it was clear. Super quick response time and both guys were so nice and great at explaining what they had to do and why. Highly recommend.

Extremely professional and great customer service!  When our toilet and tub got clogged and almost overflowed with sewage water, these guys were quick to respond and fix the issue.  They took the time to explain everything and what they were going to do before they got started.  Not only did they fix the problem quickly, but took the extra step to clean up the mess in our toilet and tub!  Would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs and will definitely be reaching out to them for any future services!

we had called them out originally to diagnose what was wrong with our toilet and its intermittent failure to flush completely.   They came and checked it.  Its problem was due to the hard water we have and the mineral buildup in a part of the toilet that cant be rodded out.  They recommended that the toilet be replaced as it would not get any better.
We bought a new toilet and called to schedule them to come remove the old toilet and install the new one.  They came on time and got right to work.  Old one was out fairly quickly.   New one installation took a little longer as they wanted to make sure it didn't leak.   They cleaned up the bathroom when finished and even took the old toilet with them to dispose of.  Great work!

Our washer was leaking from the drainage hose and overflowing in our garage. I called  RDZ plumbing and they were able to get someone to come out the same day.

After inspection randy was able to diagnose the problem and kept my husband and I in the loop for each step. Being a first time homeowner we were nervous about what this may cost, Randy was able to give us a reasonable price for the work he did. I really appreciate companies that work with their customers in any way they can. We have more plumbing work to do and will definitely be giving RDZ a call.

Junior was incredible, he was in and out in 15 minutes unclogging my shower. Super professional and nice, would use his services again.

My irrigation drain system was clogged with roots and dirt and all that debris was located in the backyard about a 100ft into the pipe from where it drains to the street. I called RDZ on Saturday at noon and left a message. Sal returned my call within 15 minutes.  I explained to him my situation and that I needed the PVC drain pipes hydro-jetted. Sal was currently at a job but said he would be able to assist me that afternoon if I was willing to wait 2 hours. Sal and his father-in-law showed up in 1.5 hours. I explained to him I already had pulled out some roots from the pipes but I knew there were more. Within 10 minutes he was hydro-blasting the pipes. After 2 hours, Sal and his father-in-law had cleared out two separate drain pipe systems in the yard and you wouldn't believe what came out! There were two 8 foot long roots, 2 inches in diameter each that came out of one pipe along with smaller pieces of root balls, and in the other pipe, he pulled out a root cylinder (like a root ball but in a cylindrical shape) that was 2ft long! After he cleared the drains, he used his camera system and scoped out the pipes to make sure it was clear of any debris and it was!

I had two choices to remove the blockages in drainage pipes, I either replace the PVC tubing or hydro-jet them. I am so glad I called RDZ Drain Services to hydro-jet them! It saved me time & money.  

I called other plumbers and drains services to see how much they would charge and that's even if they take on the job. On average most wanted $700 and up. RDZ charge me $450 for two hours of work. Each additional hour after that is extra.  

This is a small family owned business that likes to take care of its customers, I have no hesitation calling Sal and his family's business again in the future. Thank you RDZ Drain Services!

To sum it up in one expression...WOW! They were knowledgeable and available right away. They we very courteous and explained what he was going to do and what he couldn't do. If you are looking for a fast, safe, competitively priced and honest company RDZ a great choice. I hope you are as happy with them as I am, I know you will be.

I previously used one of the big plumbing companies. They told me my constantly clogging shower drain needed a hydrojetting. I got a much better quote from Sal. Then, when he came by, he said a hydrojetting wouldn't fix my problem, and might make it worse. So he performed a different, cheaper, service than a hydrojetting using a plastic scraping device, that has fixed the shower drain very well. So instead of spending $650 for a useless service from the big guys, Sal only charged around $200 and actually fixed the problem. He's honest and will tell you what you need to know, not what you think you want to hear!

I can't remember the guys name who stopped out but he was quick to respond, quick to solve the issue and being that he happened to be so close to where i live he didn't charge me.  Unbelievable.  I still gave him some money out of guilt for his time and expertise and I Will be using him in the future.

When we had a bit of a plumbing emergency this evening, RDZ was able to help us promptly and effectively, despite the early-evening timing. Sal and his partner made it out to our house within an hour, hydroblasted the roots, grease, and detritus from our pipes, and inspected them while showing me the issues. Unfortunately, we will have to replace them at some point, but for now, my sewage drains again, instead of backing up into our bathtubs.

Thanks for the quick help, even after a long day guys. While I don't enjoy doing dishes or laundry, I am ecstatic to have the ability to do so back. Not to mention showering and flushing toilets without a huge mess.

I have a leaking faucet in one of my tub and Sal came over yesterday.  He was able to give a price quote and said he would comeback today at 930a.  It is now 12.30p and my wife tried calling Sal and no answer.  I find it hard to believe that Customer Service is their Top Priority.  A simple courtesy call that he can't make it would have been nice.

I have made them my new plumber and will be sharing their contact information with my neighbors.
Super nice family owned business. Professional, knowledgeable, and so helpful. Turned out there was a small leak in the copper pipe between the water meter and shut off valve. They recommended CPL Leak Detection to locate the leak area. CPL came out and marked the area. RDZ came back, dug a couple feet down, found the copper pipe that had a larger than a pinhole leak, cut the pipe, added new pipe and covered the area back up. These folks are so very nice! Give them a chance. You will not be disappointed!

I am so glad to get RDZ helping me unclog a few water drainage pipes (very old, 27+ years, pipes laid under the ground). The pipes were filled with muds and rocks all the way. They showed up at my place in an hour after I called them and took care of the matter in half an hour! Very professional and trustworthy. I am really grateful for the service they provided to me.

Huge shout-out to Mariana, Randy, and Sergio! Mariana came out to assess our clogged landscape/storm drain.  As everything was buried deep in the ground and there was no exit that was readily identifiable by multiple plumbers who came out, she took the initiative to offer to hydro-jet the drain.  This was a critical first step to clear one of the most challenging parts of the drain as the pipes were buried deep below my koi pond and roots of large trees.  Once they felt the vibration from the hydro-jet near my koi pond, they recommended that I dig right below where they felt the vibration and I quickly identified the landscape drain.  Once located, we cut the pipe, but it was packed deep with compacted mud.  Needing to re-route the drain, Mariana came up with an out of the box idea to drain to my back-yard, add rocks to prevent erosion, and recycle the water for the vegetation in my back yard. This was a win-win as it resulted in replacing 70 feet of ABS piping vs. nearly 200 feet which would have been completely cost-prohibitive.  Once we agreed on the plan, Randy and Sergio came out and they knocked out the work super efficiently and were very thorough.  They removed two old lines, replaced and moved two PVC sprinkler lines for preventive maintenance, and made two Home Depot runs late in the evening to ensure that I had running water due to a nick in the main line as they were finishing up.  And once the job was completed, they took all the debris, old pipes, and roots/trunks that were dug up and disposed for me upon my request.  They definitely bat above their weight and are very skilled in their line of work.  I'm lucky to have come across them and I look forward to calling them for my plumbing needs moving forward.  Thank you team!

We noticed a terrible odor (sewage gas) coming from our wet bar and called RDZ Drain to see if they could check it out. Sal, the owner, came the next morning and were able to figure the problem in minutes! Great, prompt, and friendly! Would 100% use this team again.

Such a great experience with RDZ. We had a dishwasher delivered and was told by the installer that a valve under our sink was completely rusted so they couldn't do the install. I immediately reached out to RDZ and they were able to stop by a few hours later. They were in and out and fixed everything (including a leaky disposal I was unaware of) and everything cost less than I anticipated. They were super professional and cleaned everything up when they were done. Will definitely be keeping these guys on speed dial!

Great guys.  Very professional and quick to respond.  I had a gas leak and they responded right away, showed up, detected the leak, then fixed the problem.  Very very happy with the service.  Highly recommended!
