My hot water heater leaked and water was pouring out the pipe into my back yard. I contacted a few different companies who all said that I needed a new tank without looking at it and asked for make/model so they could get one ordered.  R Box Plumbing however said they could come take a look the next day and discovered it was a broken valve which cost me $175 vs $2100. Great customer service and honest.

I'm not sure how to judge a plumber, however R Box gets 5 stars from me. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. Replaced my electric hot water heater and went over everything with me.

Integrity would be the best word to describe R Box Plumbing. I prefer to support local, small, and family-owned businesses. The owner Dmitriy Levko and his son Alex provided excellent service and offered a very reasonable rate for a whole house repipe and installation of a new hot water heater. I am very pleased with the work they did. They even cleaned up the work areas which was much appreciated.  After getting several estimates, I decided to hire R Box Plumbing because of the time Dmitriy took to answer all my questions and even offer advice. Again, the rates very reasonable. Professional and personable, Dmitriy and Alex were always responsive to phone calls or texts. When you find a gem, you don't let it go. We have had R Box Plumbing do several plumbing jobs for us and we have always been pleased with the service.  Today we had 2 new toilets installed and Demitriy and his son, Alex picked up the toilets for us at Lowe's and installed.  Their pricing is very competitive.  We also had them install a shut off valve so that we could turn off the water to our house when we were going to be away.  Also they put in a new hot water heater.

R Box Plumbing was fantastic! Dmitriy gave me a great quote, narrow time window and then texted before arriving early. He was very straight forward in addressing the issue, explaining first steps and then next steps if the first resolution didn't work. Ultimately he had to replace the toilet and he not only provided a great quote, he picked up the new toilet from a store (on sale), installed it and then passed the savings on the toilet purchase price to  me. I wouldn't have known about the savings - a truly honorable businessman!

Post this review from a repair Dmitriy did for us in 2019. We had a leak on upstairs shower and the water dripped all the way into the kitchen sink downstairs. Once we changed the shower pan and fix everything, we thought it may be a good idea to clean the shower drainage as it is connected to the bath tub and sinks. We scheduled an appointment with Dmitriy and he arrived on time. He did some tests and came to us with the news that there is nothing to clean with the drainage system and it is in very good condition. Upon our questioning, he turned on the machine and explained that the kind of sound we hear indicated a clean system. We paid him a small inspection fee and he left. That was the second time we hired him. We were also impressed by him the first time which I wrote a review then. I am writing this 2nd review because I just knew that I could write a new review on the  same business for a different service.

I think Dmitriy represents truly what honest is although people use the word all the time in their reviews.

Our water shut-off valve was broken. We couldn't turn the water off and because of that, we're unable to do any repairs inside the house that needed the water to be off. I asked for a quote through Yelp and they send my inquiry to about 10 different companies.

Aleks from R Box was one of the first to respond and gave me a fair quote. We scheduled him to come out and he did an amazing job. While he was fixing the valve I asked about installing a new sprinkler switch as well as a new faucet head (are they called that? ‍)

Aleks was professional, friendly, and informative. He got the job done and I would highly recommend this plumbing company (family owned and operated) over any of the bigger corporate plumbing companies. So if you're looking for a good plumber and a fair price for the work, hit up R Box!

Our toilet has been clogged for over a month now and we've tried using an auger that was bought at Home Depot to no avail. Therefore, I ended up on yelp and got some quotes from different plumbers in our area and decided to go with R Box Plumbing since they were the most responsive and gave the best price out of all that I contacted. They came in, assessed the problem and tried working with it with a longer auger first to see if it can be solved with that (which I very much appreciate since if it was solved with that then the removal would not be necessary). When it was evident that it wouldn't work, they went ahead and proceeded with the removal of the toilet (which I was originally quoted for) and that solved the problem! Even though he worked with it with the auger first (which took some time), he only charged me for the removal of the toilet.

Overall, R Box Plumbing and their staff are professional, quick, and their prices are reasonable (especially during these tough times). I would highly recommend them to anyone having plumbing problems and will absolutely use their services again in the future if need be.

I'm extremely happy with the service that Dimitriy provided me because it was quick, honest and very reasonably priced. I though that our main sewage pipe was clogged inside our home, but Dimitriy knew exactly what the problem was. He quickly identified that our septic system was full. Since this is my first home with a septic tank, that my HOA was supposed to clean, I had no idea what a full septic tank even looked like (I assure you it wasn't pretty, LOL!). However, Dimitriy quickly educated me on the system, which I truly appreciate. Shortly after he snaked the pipe feeding the septic system the clogged lines flowed like lava into the septic tank and the backed up sewage problem was fixed. Now I just have to get my HOA to empty my tank.

Overall I'm extremely satisfied with Dimitriy's company. Since I have three rental properties, I will call on him again in a heartbeat for any and all of my plumbing issues. Thank you again Dimitriy!!!

We were seeing issues with our drain being backed up in the kitchen sinks. Even flooded out the pipe in the garage used for our laundry. Alex was able to come in early the next day and resolve the issue. I also mentioned about wanting to replace my kitchen sink piping and he was able to come back the next day and quickly finished it.

If you have PEX piping in your house then RBox Plumbing is who you need to call. My 15 year old Manabloc manifold was leaking and water was dripping down the wall and onto the garage floor. Luckily it was only on the hot water side so I was able to shut off the hot water to prevent additional damage.  The plumber that I called first could not get a compatible part for two weeks. The original Manabloc manifold was no longer being manufactured so it had to be custom made. I couldn't wait for another couple weeks so I contacted 10 other plumbers. Only Dmitriy and Alex of RBox Plumbing had recent experience with using adapters to install a standard manifold to non-standard PEX piping configurations. It only took 3 days from my phone call for Dmitriy and Alex to get all the parts, replace the manifold, and make the modifications to restore hot water to the house. RBox Plumbing did awesome work! Prompt, professional, experienced, and reasonably priced!

Dmitriy and his son arrived on schedule to provide a quote for my leaky bathroom toilet in Elk Grove.  They were very polite, knowledgeable, and professional.  After removing the toilet, Dmitriy explained that my handyman incorrectly tiled the flooring way too far over the toilet flange blocking the wax seal contact and causing the wax seal to fail on the toilet.  He ground down the tiles to allow for a proper seal, replaced the wax seal and hose with a braided hose, reset the toilet, and re-caulked.  I decided to have him do the same work on my master bedroom toilet in case it had the same issue and sure enough it did.  Dmitriy and his son were done in only a few hours and cleaned up everything.  My husband was using the hose in front of the house and he moved the doormat, so a few minor footprints were made as everyone came in and out of the house, but Dmitry's son thoroughly wiped the floors down before they left.  Their prices are very reasonable and they did a great job.  Dmitry wouldn't accept my tip and encouraged me to write an honest online review (good or bad).  He also said he would text me the photos he took while doing the repair in case I needed them for insurance purposes.  I will definitely call R Box Plumbing the next time I have a plumbing issue!  Call these guys first; you won't regret it.

Of all the queries we sent out regarding our plumbing issue, Alex from R Box Plumbing was the fastest to respond and had the most reasonable quote. He came out within two hours! He and his coworker did a fantastic job and explained what they were doing to clear out the plugged up drainage pipe. They answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly. It was so hot that day and they didn't complain once and made sure everything was working properly by doing several checks inside and outside of the house. I asked him about my parents' water heater across the street and he didn't try to sell us on a new one and told us how to take care of it and what to look for when it does eventually start to go. Indoor plumbing specialist. I cannot say enough good about Dmitri. He just spent half an hour at my house, checking all my toilets and showers for leaks, and didn't charge me a dime. Seriously?! Who does that anymore???

We've been having septic tank issues. The septic companies want to charge thousands of dollars for a new system or new leach lines. One septic guy said it's the indoor plumbing leaks. So, I called Dmitri again (he had been to our place a few months ago to change our leaky faucets, which he did a fabulously job of, and only charged us the minimum price he quoted, despite several issues he ran into that he expertly fixed).

Dmitri checked every toilet in my house today. He showed me that if you run a piece of toilet paper near the top of the toilet bowl, and it's dry, then you don't have any leaks. Voila! He also checked the inside of the toilet bowls. He found sediment inside and said not to use any chemicals on the inside of your tank (I don't remember using any, but maybe the previous home owner did, or an occasional housecleaner?). He also showed me how to check the seal and toilet flapper-- on all three of my indoor toilets.

Then he told me how to find a referral for the septic leach lines, and explained the whole septic system better than any of the previous three septic specialists had.

Dmitri just specializes in indoor plumbing. He said he could camera it, but didn't see a need, and didn't want to charge me.

Seriously?! Who does that anymore?

So impressed with Dmitri's honesty, integrity and experience (20+ years). He's punctual (we set up a time via text for 10 am. He texted me a few minutes before the appointment that he had to spend more time at the previous appointment, and was running late). He puts shoe covers on without being asked, and is respectful and polite, and he has a Mercedes Sprinter van that looks clean. Icing on the cake. Rare, honest professional.

Found the plumber for all my future needs.  Quick response and very reasonable fees.

In the middle of the night my mom accidentally broke one of my hose bibs in the backyard to compound the issue my house shut off didn't quite close causing water to leak throughout the night. R Box plumbing was able to come out to my house four hours earlier than the scheduled time on that same day and quickly replaced the damaged hose bin and another which had been leaking since I bought the house for a very reasonable price. R Box Plumbing added a gas line to service a cooktop, dryer, and barbecue grill. It was an incredibly difficult installation under a raised foundation with limited space and air conditioning ducting crisscrossing the area. The estimate was more than reasonable, and the quality of work was first rate.

My son flushed a toy down the toilet. We tried to get it out ourself but without success. I requested many quotes via Yelp. R Box was fair, fast and efficient. Got the toy out in minutes and had a little talk with my son about why we don't flush our toys. I would definitely recommend their services and use them again if the need should ever arise.

Absolutely fantastic job by Alex! He was prompt in responding my messages, and showed up *exactly* on time. Alex is very knowledgeable, and was meticulous in his work.

We had to remove the extra piping in the waterline, left over from an earlier whole house water filter removal. Alex's quote was for just cutting the line at 2 places and soldering a new piece there. Alex mentioned that doing it that way will have new pipe sticking out of the wall, and offered to put a side joint so that the bend is completely hidden inside the wall - at no extra charge!

Alex also found an old strap from the builders that was rubbing against the pipe, with a potential to create a pinhole leak. He replaced that with a properly installed copper strap, again at no extra charge.

It was clear that Alex took pride in the quality of his work, and spent the time to really polish the copper pipe (inside and outside) before doing soldering.

His work was so good that I paid him MORE than the agreed price, even though he did not ask for it.

Demitry and Alex were over to our house in 10 minutes after contacting them for a blocked sewage line on New Years Day. With Demitry's 20 years of experience, he knew immediately where the main sewage line entrance was beneath a bunch of flowers. The last time our house was snaked, they attempted to clear it from the one behind the house which was only a temporary fix. We had no idea there was a second entrance. He fixed the problem in minutes with a reasonable price. We will be going to him again with any other problems.

We got same day response to a tankless water heater issue. The technician was in the area and came by between jobs. Knowledgeable and quick. Got our hot water back right away for a good price.

They are wonderful. When our garbage disposal broke they came same day and fixed it. Then later when it wasn't working (because I had something in there I shouldn't have put) they came back and reset it for me and reviewed with me how to fix it in future for no charge. Purchased a home and discovered all of our toilets were leaking at their base.   Called a couple of 5 star plumbers on yelp and got a maybe tmwresponse with pricey estimates and no follow up.  Finally asked neighbor for referral and they recommended R Box.  Dimitri came out the same day I called and diagnosed right away (low flange height due to tile floor remodel).  He fixed the flange and gave me the option of reinstalling old
toilet or going out and buying new ones.  Said if I chose to go new he would come out the following day and install. I ran down to Lowe's bought two new ones and he returned next day with his Son Alex and got the job done.  This is good 'ole fashion service, done right, that you can't find anymore..Dimitri is the real deal..30+ years experience, no price gouging, provides good cost options and responds quickly.  This is your plumber!

I had to call Dmitri again because we had a backed up main, which flooded our bathrooms.  He was very good in responding the same day and was reasonable in his rates for clearing the problem.  He also educated me and recommended that eventually I would have to replace it because of the corrosion.  He is still our go-to plumber!

Excellent Plumber with great service & reasonable rates. I needed an upstairs bathroom toilet and faucet to be replaced and reached out to several businesses on Yelp.  They were fast to respond and gave me their flats rate prices. I had a couple of questions before deciding and Alex answered them easily. The rate included the removal of the old toilet which was awesome since some companies do not. Of all the quotes, his was within my budget. He was able to work with my schedule and the appointment was booked in a couple of days. The day of the appointment, Alex texted me when he was on his way. They arrived and was able to install the new toilet and faucet under 2 hours.  Before they started I showed him the new faucet and wasn't sure if it would fit. The new faucet came with a push stop drain, which was different from our current fixture. But he said it would workAfter they were done they showed me the work and mentioned there was leaking with the new faucet drain, and they fixed it. Alex pointed it out and said if it leaked again let them know.  The next day we did notice a small leak, and Alex was able to come out the same week to fix it. So far no issues!  Overall I was very impressed with their work and professionalism. I didn't realize how hot it was when they were working upstairs but they didn't complain at all. I called Dimitri to replace a water valve and flex line feeding into the water heater on a 70 yr old house. His son Alex arrived the next day as promised and did an excellent job.   In shutting off the main water supply in the back of the house, we discovered that the old gate valve failed there also. So they replaced that valve as well.  The work was done quickly and professionally.  The price was reasonable.  I definitely recommend R Box for your plumbing needs.

These guys were professional from beginning to end.  I reached out to them during the weekend of New Years -- they were the only ones willing to take care of my water heater issue.  

Everyone else I described the issue to said the whole water heater had to be replaced.  No exceptions.  But these guys took a look and advised me of my options.  They recommended it be replaced because it's useful life was nearing its end (it was a 20 year old heater).  But since this was a rental property, we wanted it fixed to squeeze that last bit of life out of it.  We know we'll have to get it replaced soon anyway.  

It turned out it just needed a new TNP valve.  They promptly came out again and replaced it.  Now it works like new.  

When this water heater finally kicks the bucket, we know who we'll be calling.

Sent out a request for installing a couple toilets and was able to get a fair price as well as service the same day. Alex came out did the job and will look to work with this company again.

1st off I always do my homework and shop around by far they were most reasonable in price . Alex came out to unclog bathtub/shower gave me set price much appreciated when someone ask how much they gave a set price outside of that of course price would very. Anyhow he came out did great work and was fast too . Since he was  already at my home I took a chance to see how much for another job in my home which must say the owner before I moved in had plumbing done diy instead of a plumber . R Box Plumbing responded right away to our plugged toilet. They were able to unplug the toilet with an auger and got the banana peel out of the drain! Excellent service and results and the price was exactly what they quoted.

Dimitry came to our house to repair a leak in our landscaping system in the backyard.  After two plus hours of removing roots from our redwood trees that had broken the PVC pipe, Dimitry replumbed the system.  He was meticulous in the repair and I would highly recommend his services.

Great!  Uniformed.  Used shoe covers.  Put a drop cloth on the bathroom floor.  He even cleaned the shower floor.  His power snake cleared the drain that two other plumbers couldn't budge.  After looking under the house, he suggested replacing the 68 year old pipes with plastic, but added it was not critical.  Wish I could give him ten stars!

Alex was super friendly and was able to fix my plumbing issue right away. His company also provided the best quote by far and charged me less than half of what other companies were wanting. I would recommend this plumbing company to everyone.

If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Good communication and quick response from Yelp. They replaced a water pressure regulator valve that had been leaking. He ran into a couple problems but quickly was able to fix it. I highly recommend R Box plumbing.

My main water pipe broke loose at the PVC joint in my yar, so we had to turn off the main water line in the middle of the night.  Dimitriy contacted us early in the morning, and let us know that he can be at the house in a couple hours.  He showed on time and did an amazing job.  This by far is one of the most responsive and cost-effective business that I have dealt with in recent years.  Dimitriy just made to my short saved vendor list.

We had a sewer line break under our house. The clean up / mitigation company highly recommended R Box Plumbing to us for repairs. Called Dimitri and he responded very quickly. He came to the house and gave us an estimate on the spot. The price was excellent and told him to do the repairs. He told me, he had to return to the job he was working on and finish it but that he would return that evening. As promised Dimitri and his son showed up and began working on our repairs around 5:30pm and continued working until 7:30pm. He told me that he needed to get a
part to finish the work and that he would return the next day to finish the job. He and his son were back the next day and completed the work. And I paid the exact price I was quoted. If there were more than 5 stars, R Box Plumbing would get them. This is the best experience I have ever had with a company doing repair work for me. Dimitri and his son explained everything and answered all my questions. All companies could learn from them about great customer service and quality of work performed. I highly recommend R Box Plumbing for any plumbing repairs you might need.

Started a project on Yelp. R Box was not the original company that I sent the request to. However, I went with R Box since Dimitriy started asking helpful questions and even gave me some insights to what the problem could be. With his help, I was able to fix the problem myself.

Our main line clogged and came out of our overflow pipe in the yard. I contacted several plumbers for an estimate. Alex at R Box Plumbing was straight forward and had the best price. He came out within a couple of hours and unclogged the line in 30 minutes. He was very accommodating and provided exceptional customer service at a fair price.
