Primo Plumbing is who you want to use!!  Mike was honest forthright. I had a sewage backup and called a plumber.  They came out and said they wanted to tear out my driveway to replace the pipe. of course this would cost lots of $$.  I had to put a stop to them. That's when I called around and talked to Mike at Primo's.  I explained what the first  plumber wanted to do. Mike came out right away.  He used a camera and found the issue. With a hydro-jet he cleared my line and saved me lots of money!! Mike was great to deal with and the repair time was a fraction of what the other guy wanted to do.  Thanks Mike!! I have your number saved to use your services over and over again.

I was new to the area and wanted to find a plumber I could trust.  I highly recommend Mike. He showed up on time. Helped educate me on what repairs were and were not  necessary and suggested ways to minimize cost of repair. He did an excellent job fixing corroded angle stops and bathroom trap as well as fixing water heater and furnace lines to bring up to code. I bid out the job and his prices were also the best..

Mike is a great plumber.  Got lucky when I found him.  Highly recommend!  He fix a leak from an upstairs toilet which was going into the ceiling.  He left the area nice and clean and all is well.  He is a nice man and a great plumber.  I am going to ask him to replace all the faucets in our home!  Very happy!!

Mike has done 2 jobs for me.  One was to replace my water heater with a new tankless one.  The other was to replace 2 faucet sets in my bathroom.  Here's what you should know:

1) You can trust him completely.  He will tell you what he knows and what he does not.  You can leave him in your house alone and know he won't steal or snoop on anything.  You can expect him to give you a fair price. You can know that he will tell you the truth.  
2) You can expect an excellent job.  Mike is a smart person who knows enough to customize his solution to fit your needs.  I had several constraints related to my HOA and he was able to tailor my solution to deal with those issues.  He will also provide the good, bad and ugly of the options.
3) He is not married to one hot water heater distributer.  He installs many brands and can tell you the pros and cons of them as they relate to your situation.

I spent a lot of time educating myself about water heaters and interviewing different plumbers.  Because of this, I can feel very confident saying that you will be in good hands if you choose Mike, AKA Primo Plumbing

Michael installed a water filtration system for my home. He did an excellent job. He spent a lot of time making sure that pipes we're good quality copper instead of plastic. I would highly recommend him as a plumber.

Hopefully I won't need a plumber for a very long time but if I do, I would not hesitate to call Mike.
I had a water heater vent pipe which needed repair and he was able to come out within a few hours and fix my issue. He also a gave me a much better price than most of the other services I called.

I had a great experience with Mike and Primo Plumbing. Along with advice from a friend in the plumbing industry on what this job should cost, I did quite a bit of research in the San Diego area and was referred to Primo from a drain specialist. After getting many quotes over the phone and through Yelp, I found Mike's quote to be a fair price, low-to-middle of the pack, and definitely not trying to charge an insane amount like some bigger companies do!

My water heater started leaking and I was unable to stop the leak locally, so I had to shut off the water to my house for the evening. In the morning I called Mike and he was out to the house in a few hours with a water heater and tools ready to go. He replaced the water heater and the shut off valve with top quality products that will last me a long time. He added what I need to the heater to bring it up to code as well as making sure it is earthquake safe. Everything looks great, and the house was up and running in a couple of hours!

Mike was honest and to the point with the quote with no surprises, and he was easily accessible on the phone throughout the morning. He even let me know he was going to arrive early; something that doesn't normally happen with home repairs! I would highly recommend him and will call him with future plumbing needs.

He's very fair and takes time to explain everything that he needs to do.     Mike is honest and his charges are very reasonable. He is definitely my go to for plumbing needs in the future.

Great plumber.  My water heater leaked during a home inspection, and I needed a plumber to remove the water heater to be able to repair the drywall.  Mike came over the same say removed the old water heater and after everything was repaired, came back to do install the new one.  He is very professional, on time and did it all at a very reasonable price.  Primo Plumbing is going into my contact list.

First let me say finding a reliable, honest knowledgeable PLUMMER is almost impossible. At least that is what I thought until yesterday.
I cane home to a hot water piper that broke and flooded my laundry room. I had no clue what to I was referred to Mike at Primo and I'm so glad. He came he fixed and he also helped me get a company  here to help me with the water damage within an hour.
Mike is hardworking and very efficient. I am so impressed and so grateful he was able to get out to us under an hour and will never use another PLUMMER again. If you are looking for emergency or just issues look no further. Primo is the BEST!!!! Thank you so much Mike!!!!

omg! this man saved our lives. i work at a doctors office in chula vista and one of our patients backed into our building which broke the back faucet and caused a huge flood. he came out in less than 10 minutes and started working right away. he did an amazing job and charges a very fair price. we will definitely be saving his # for future plumbing needs.

UPDATE: I had my water heater literally implode. I've never seen anything like it. Did I mention this happened Friday night at 6 pm?! I called Mike immediately, I think he even said he was out to dinner. He took the time to walk me through turning off the main water on the street since all our valves were corroded from crappy San Diego water. He said he would have come right away, but he already was out and offered to come at 6 am on a SATURDAY. He also offered to give me the number of an after hours plumber, which I was totally not interested in. I'm not even joking, if he wouldn't have been able to come until Monday, I would have waited and gone with out water all weekend. But sure enough 6 am Saturday morning he was here. I know right?! Someone ON TIME for a service call?! And on a Saturday?! UNHEARD OF! The cost to replace all the valves, the water heater, labor, and other plumbing things I have no idea about came in so reasonably priced. I can't say enough good things about Mike. He is kind, hard working, and does such a good job! I will never, ever, ever call another plumber again. Hes the best!!!!

So I probably called 8 different plumbers, and had one handy man come look at it. The handyman could not do the job and told me to get a plumber. Most of the plumbers I called or came out were rude, didn't return my calls, or quoted me an outrageous price.

Micheal picked up right away and was able to come out with in a few hours. It was by no means and emergency. It was just a leaky faucet, which is why I thought it was crazy that people wanted to charge $700+. Michael charged very close to the price I had paid to have the faucet fixed in my other bathroom. I was really happy that he was able to come out, fix the problem in a short amount of time. I had been calling other people and getting quotes since last week. It was a complete waste of time. I will definitely be using him and referring him 100% of the time. I'll never use or call anyone else.

Seriously, save yourself the time and hassle of using anyone else. This guy is super nice, honest, affordable and timely. I wish I had found him sooner!

I called Primo Plumbing to replace an old kitchen faucet. Mike scheduled an appointment for the next day. He was on time, which is  important to me.  He replaced my faucet at a very reasonable charge. Definitely will call him again . Great service.

I have a Brondell Swash bidet toilet seat that I needed removed. My old plumber was no longer in business and I called a couple of plumbers who said they couldn't do that. One of the plumbers recommended Primo Plumbing. I called them yesterday and Michael said he could come out today and remove the bidet. He also fixed a toilet paper dispenser that had come off the it's attachment. Michael finished the job in less than an hour. He knows what he's doing and gets the job done.

This is the plumber you should be using! I found Mike from a referral of a good friend.  I called him on a Saturday to set a time for him to come fix a shut off valve for my ice maker.  He came out that day and within an hour.  

I can't stress enough what a great job he did.  He was professional, efficient and fairly priced.  If you are looking for a plumber you can trust, give mike a call.  He will do a great job for you.

Mike is obviously a journeyman plumber. I've used him several times and have not had any issues with complex to simple work.  Offers sound advice of how to do it right and permanent. Last service call he encountered an inherited issue from my home builder of rental in Eastlake. Didn't bat an eye, just went right to correcting and finished on time.  Trust him in my homes.

Mike really did a good job on a couple projects I needed done. He was quick to respond and gave a quote for the price and the labor. I had the option to go get my own parts, but chose not to do that as everything was very reasonable.

Outstanding honest plumber. Mike answered the phone this morning at 630am, mentioned he had customer appointments at 8am and 10am. After I described the gas leak he came right out at 9am right between two customer appointments for quick professional fix. After the repair, he lit the pilot light in my water heater and stated even though an old heater, in good shape and no need to replace since the heater is in a side room accessed only from the outside. Shows you the true honesty, most plumbers would push for additional charges.

Mike was fast to respond and very professional. Mike was very clear and concise with his quote over the phone and gave me a very reasonable price. He showed up promptly to repair a leaking toilet. The work was done in less than an hour. I'd definitely recommend Mike for any plumbing issues.

I've had several handymen and plumbers out to work on a loose kitchen faucet and leaky shower controls.  It was over handyman's skill level and plumbers either don't show up, don't return calls or don't feel the job is big enough.  I had a plumber in on Saturday who said kitchen faucet was completely corroded and needed to be replaced.  Wouldn't even look at the shower cartridges.  I ended up paying $125 so he could change a filter under the sink - I could have done it but I figured plumber could do it since he was under there tightening faucet.  

I found Primo through Home Advisor and called Michael in complete frustration.  He came out the next day, looked at everything for me, tightened the faucet, fixed one of the shower heads and even made my toilet run correctly, all in less time than the plumber above at less cost.  I need to get some parts and specs and he'll be out to fix the final shower cartridge after that.  

What can I say?  Prompt, professional, friendly, doesn't try to upsell everything.  It just doesn't get better than this.  I've finally found a plumber in San Diego.

We just moved into a new place and had a couple plumbing items that we needed to take care of from our home inspection.  Michael and his team arrived right on time and quickly went to work.  They had to remove and replace some old piping which they did in record time.  Michael and his team were extremely friendly and very professional.  I was extremely impressed with their services and will definitely use Primo for any plumbing in the future.

Don't waste your time or money with this company.  He came out to my residence on January 14th 2013 to fix a leak on the side of my house.  He replaced the piping for the sprinkler system and charged me $210.  3 months later the pipe sprung a leak spraying an excessive amount of water.  Since it was a Saturday he wanted to charge me double to come out and fix it.  He wanted to charge me to fix a problem he created.  He also didn't believe it had only been 3 months since he had been out, insisting it had been more than 6 and expected me to show him a receipt to prove the date of the work.  Unbelievable!  I wasn't going to wait until Monday and a $200 water bill later for him to repair his shotty work.  I will never use him again.

I needed to have a new 3hole kitchen faucet installed so I called Mike, who did excellent work for me a year ago when I had a leak from my upstairs bathroom.  He was able to find and repair the leak.  This time he was able to see me the day after I called him.  He did a great job installing the faucet set and he also ended replacing my regulator as it was 15 years old and the reading was higher than normal.  I took his advice and decided that a pound of prevention.... I feel better for having done it and my wife was happy with the way the kitchen faucet turned out.  Thanks Mike!!!

Mike has come out to my house twice to correct substandard plumbing that was leaking and improperly installed. He responded to my intial phone inquiry quickly and all future calls were timely, clear and informative. He arrived on time to both appointments. He is confident, competent, experienced, knowledgeable and personable. I will continue to use Primo Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs and will recommend them to my friends and family.

The pipe in my toilet's reservoir tank had split in down its length, allowing more water to fill the tank faster than the overflow pipe could accommodate.  After sending out a plea for help through Home Advisor, I received a response from Mike.  From the start, he was professional, courteous and patient (I was missing his calls due to spill cleanup).  Upon arrival, he proved to be friendly and approachable as well.  While I showed him the culprit of the problem, I threw in another issue: the flapper was continuously catching on the chain, despite shortening the length.  It had became a household norm to wait for the entire flush to complete, to include jiggling the handle without thought, to ensure that the toilet did not leak.  Since he was here, and both problems involved the same toilet, would it be too much trouble to add the task of fixing/replacing the flushing assembly?  It was no trouble at all for Mike and the entire job was completed within the hour, to include the replacement of a new - but inexpensive - braided flexible toilet supply hose (which was given my okay beforehand).  After the project was done, Mike wanted to ensure that my burst pipe was not due to high water pressure.  After a quick check, we both found that the pressure measured at 110.  Since the regulator was already adjusted shortly after moving into the house a few years ago, I was comfortable to just replace it this time around. With my go, it took Mike a little over half an hour to make the replacement.  (I should add that I am including set up and clean up time, as well as time moving his equipment between 2 floors.)

Throughout the visit, Mike made sure that I was involved and that I had made informed decisions.  He allowed me to ask any and all questions that came to mind so that I would be more than comfortable with the outcome.  And the outcome was fantastic!  A little side note, all items were returned to their place and the areas were made tidy as if nothing happened.  (Nothing but the banishment of problems to those areas.)  Thank you, Mike and Primo Plumbing, for your excellent work.
