POSS & Son's Pumping

Found this highly recommended after reading mediocre reviews on other companies and calling around with not so great front desk service skills. This company was friendly, professional & reliable. Needed a septic cert as well as pumping charges to the escrow company and they honestly did the work. If we ever need a septic company again will use this one only!

These guys are awesome! The price was great and they have years of experience on their side. Our lot plan showed the septic tank to be in a certain location on the property but it was wrong. Doug and Larry quickly located the correct location, drew markers for the openings and dug at the correct spot! I would hire these guys for all of your Septic Tank needs. They are the best!!

Mr. Douglas Poss is the hardest working man in the business. If you want the job done right the first time call him, otherwise if you hire someone else you'll end up calling Mr. Poss to correct their mistakes. His business is family owned and his father whom he got the business from is a very hard working man as well. I highly recommend Poss & Sons Pumping as they are the best in the business. He has all the equipment and expertise to give you the best service possible.

I highly recommend. Had to find the pipe in the planter as it got buried (like 4') since we changed our driveway to Belgard pavers.  Poss found it fast and the truck is clean and didn't leak oil on my new pavers.  I agree with Stanley S. that man is a hard worker!  
This will be our go-to septic tank pumping company from now on.

If you are looking for a straight forward and honest assessment of your septic system then call Doug. He  took the time to explain his concerns and offered recommendations for repairs. He was also on time! My septic tank was brought up to code and received a certification for escrow. I recommend Doug and will call him for any future maintenance and repairs.

Doug (and Larry) were great.  They were professional and very helpful.  We are new to the area and Doug fielded our questions honestly.  And he gave us some great hints for the new to us country living.

I am not sure There is a more honest contractor out there. We originally had a sinkhole problem by where our septic tank is located. We had 3 contractors come out, and 2 immediately diagnosed it as a collapsed tank without doing much investigation. Doug came out, and after a thorough examination, deemed it most likely not collapsed, but instead just resettling of dirt. He could as easily gone along with the other contractors and given me a bid for a much more expensive job, which meant more money in his pocket. However, he recommended the less expensive job, and we decided to give that a try.

After digging down to the tank, it was indeed not collapsed, but had a small crack in the side. Thankful it wasn't anything bigger, dirt was filled in, and the job was done. He did point out that it was not installed correctly when the house was built, but we crossed our fingers that it would last.

3 weeks later we discovered a bigger sink hole than the first time. Bad news was that the tank did indeed collapse this time, but being the honest, upstanding contractor Doug is, he subtracted the cost off the original job, from the cost of installing a new tank. He could have very well charged at least a portion from the first job, but he didn't. The new tank was installed within a couple days, and we couldn't be happier. Not only do we trust Poss and Sons with any septic job in the future, they were also the cheapest estimate we had. Highly recommend.

This man has been to my house three times in the last 15-20 years now and I do not remember how my mom found him for the first repair, but I am so glad she did.
First time we had to call we had a little 15 gallon drum that held our grey water from the laundry room. It was full and tree roots had stopped it from leaching, thereby making our laundry room overflow with water when the washer was pushing it out. Super big hassle and trips to the laundromat. He put in a water filtration system, years ago and it has been draining perfectly ever since.
Then he came out to pump out septic tank. Very professional and fast. Best price and I call around!!
Today he came out for a simple leak that I noticed about two weeks ago in a pvc pipe in my backyard. Since this pipe leads to the washer, I thought of him! So happy I did. He was here fast, took care of my problems and charged WAY less than any plumber would have charged I am sure of that.
He is a guardian angel for your home!!
