Horrendous experience. They lied and were rude, what an unpleasant experience.
Initially after the polite greetings and what seemed to be good convo went south over the shoes issues. They left black foot prints on our carpet as they entered the bathroom to check the plucked up pipe. I offered them 2 plastic bags to use as booties for their inspections since they didn't bring any. Instead of putting them on, they walked out dismissing me and lied flat out to the land lady saying I refused their inspection and they could not enter.
You've got to be kidding me, right?! Who in the world would refuse repair man from entry so the issues you complain about can remain untouched? That's one STUPID LIE, And why? Becuz you can't take your shoes off and somehow that's a dignified reasons to not respect other people's homes? When you have no manners and downright ignorant and sloppy, you certainly can't hide that. Can you?
Onto another plumber for sure. The $50 inspection fee is such waste of money and enduring such arrogant behavior certainly isn't a Monday morning I was expecting in my own home. Highly do NOT recommend. YUCK.

Update :
Since Jeremy below has decided to fabric truth further, I I have decided to respond in details as follows....
Jeremy,
There is zero misunderstanding and you're not sorry. The fact that you actually called Mei after seeing my negative review to refund her $50 and then tell her about our Easter bunnies in an attempt to disrupt our living further out of pettiness. I find that really low life. It really shows your low character.
And the fact that we're renters here at Mei's place doesn't equate we aren't also property owners ourselves. Your dismissive tone towards a renter with disscontempt language use is truly appalling. We have a property also that we rent out in another city and we have never at any point interrupt their living and/or treat them as if these renters aren't worthy of respect of their home and living. And yes, if our contractors make anyone uncomfortable, we do not hire them again. People like you, I will never do business with, and I do encourage either my renters or my clients to review any services that they find unethical such as yours.
Now, in terms of Yelp Reviews, 26 reviews is nothing, you can see any small business with even 2000 reviews with at least several, if not more, one star ratings because humans aren't perfect all the time. It doesn't matter to me wether today was a bad day for you or your wife is mad, it matters to me that you treated me and our home disrespectfully and arrogantly and for that reason, you should apologize courteously instead of walking out dismissively and lied to Mei, which you really should not be naming here as you did, afterwards and fabricate lies upon it. You said to her that I disallow you to walk into our home to do proper inspections. Do you not have the intelligence to think on the logic of that statement before you say it? This is such a small and insignificant plumbing job, you created such drama over nothing and tried to create chaos out of total stupidity, I feel sorry for you...
As for shoe covers, you were most definitely not sorry, you not only refused to put plastic bags over your shoes, you were loudly announcing the integrity of your plumbing professions in relation to your shoes. Is that necessary? No, it certainly is not. And then to lie about it to your client, Mei, afterwards? Wow, that's the new low. Do you need to be that immature acting like a spoiled and petty kid over your god damn shoes? No, you did not need to do that. And then telling the land lady about the bunnies afterwards as if you're reporting your bad classmate to the teacher? I laughed out loud when I heard it after. Honestly... I simply cannot comprehend the elementary school behavior that you have exhibited before me... wow... it's truly baffling.. how old are you, Jeremy?
Get a grip, it's a just plumbing job. It's just some shoes. Put the covers on, respect people's home and get on with life. This attitude and this telling are seriously beneath high school. Did you think we should be in some kind of trouble from your secret telling or something? I couldn't believe such big man like you and your partner acting like children honestly. As for the bunnies, it was Easter yesterday and they have a temporary housing way above the floor. The fact that a little one happen to have fallen down onto the carpet at that moment, it does not mean that tiny 3 body thing is capable of creating a huge 1 foot long shoe print like that of Timberland boots. That is YOUR boot print. Mistakes do happen and sometimes we do not pay attention, all good, but learn to either apologize or correct it after. Don't walk out arrogantly dismissing the RENTER & announcing your departure just so you can go tell the LANDLADY that a tiny fur baby can make a black boot print on the carpet and that I refused you from entry. GROW UP, Jeremy.
