Johnny did a great job he is very professional. He gives a great breakdown so you know exactly what you are paying for. I had my door re framed and replaced super happy with the work. Will use for future projects.

If I can give this company a 0 I would. Very dishonest and unethical.
I had new flooring installed in my home. All was going great. But when I noticed a HUGE discrepancy on the square footage. I question Jimmy. He became nervous and upset and said I'm not good at math but he installs floor for a living. The contract was for 955 sq ft. He ONLY installed 655 sq ft!! He wanted me to pay him for work that he did NOT do!! He said You're the first and last person I will be making this adjustment for. It's extremly upsetting how he thought he was going to get away with this. He adjusted ONLY material fees but he still took home 215 sq ft of labor work that was NEVER done! I have text Jimmy for a formal J&S receipt of work completed. I have yet to receive it! So upsetting!
I felt as though I was taken advange of because I'm a woman. I will NEVER recommend this company.

I was in search of someone to replace my front entry doors so I contacted Jon becasue his page said he installed doors. Jon arrived at my house, measured my doors, said he could do the job, and would call me in a couple days with an estimate. Two weeks later, never heard back from him.

The job was to install new wood handrails up the right side of stairway and up the walkway. I am very pleased with the work done by these guys. They were on time, cleaned up after each day. Went above and beyond to do this work like true pros. I highly recommend.

My kitchen looks amazing now. Johnny and Jimmy and the rest of his team did a great job and finished my kitchen in less than 2 weeks! I love my kitchen!! I would definitely recommend J&S Handyman Services.

J&S replaced rollers on 2 sliding glass doors. Great installation and excellent customer service.

So, their service and business card says no job too small or big. I had Johnny show up today to waste my time. I needed a bid on having a shower surround put into a bathroom. The office lady knew what was involved and ensured to me that if we accepted their bid, they would be able to do the work on the week of the 15th. Johnny also told me after looking at the job that they would be able to do the work on the week of the 15th. He told me I would have the bid by this evening. This evening rolls around, no bid, so I message to ask about it and what I got back was, Good evening, we just picked up other project today and we are out until end of month. I don't think your project can wait that long and we will not be able to take on your project. Sorry for the inconvenience. First, some proper grammar and sentence structure would be nice but second to that, he might as well of been honest that the job was not big enough for them to bother with. He did not ask me if we could wait nor did he give me a price. This is definitely not a handyman service. Rude, unprofessional and completely inconsiderate. I do not recommend them at all. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this company. Some respect and honesty goes a long way. They have neither.

We have used their service twice and couldn't be happier! they have great knowledge and they will provide you great advise! they will get the work done neatly and efficiently.

Johnny came by to help us with a few things around the house: he hung up several heavy decorative mirrors as well as pulled out fixtures and repaired the walls in a guest bathroom in preparation for wallpapering. He was great with communication, punctual, and very fair with his pricing. The work turned out great and we would definitely recommend him to others for handywork.

Didn't respond to emails. Barely respond to calls and texts. Said they could do the job but they didn't have a ladder or a trailer to haul a ladder. So after a month of going back and forth about doing the job they finally said they can't do the job. Wasted my time. Unprofessional.

J&S handyman was great, they installed two light fixtures and a new hose outside outside. Price was great, the workmen were on time, personable and did a great job. Will definitely hire them again. Strongly suggest their services.

If your going to advertise a business make sure you say what area's you service or not, you all gave me a date to come out and see what I needed then cancel on me. Not professional at all.
I get all service contractors are busy so who they can chose from but don't make appts then cancel cause you don't want to drive to far,

I've been searching for a solid handyman that I could call for things as they came up around my home. For me, Johnny isn't that guy. I just had him install my Nest thermostat so I could get a feel for his work. It was fine but the thermostat plate was slightly smaller than the old thermostat. It left about a quarter inch of brown paint exposed. He told me I'd have to paint that piece myself if I didn't like the dark brown paint exposed against my white wall. He talked a lot about being a painter. Didn't expect him to have paint with him to fix it but was just surprised that he was ok with leaving it like that. Wasn't the attention to detail that other reviews mentioned. I thought the price to install the thermostat was on the high side.

I'm bad with names, but the young man who came out to fix my garbage disposal was amazing. He fixed it in less than an hour and that was even going to the store to get needed supplies to complete the project. The price was great and the service was even better I will definitely be using and telling everyone that I know about this company thanks again!

Should have listened to the numerous recent negative reviews. Jonny just doesn't seem like an honest person, my biggest mistake was not going with my gut. Buyer beware don't do business with this person.

Johnny is a great dependable and hard working guy. He also referred me to a great painter awhile back, and I will be using J & S for some more home improvement this summer.

I had a random issue -- a window leak caused by wood trim erosion on the outside of the house. By the time I contacted J&S I'd contacted other handymen/contractors/damage repair companies who either didn't get back to me or said they couldn't do it. J&S responded fairly quickly and the two employees (Andrew and Ray) fixed it the same day they assessed it, including getting matching paint. They were friendly and straightforward and had everything done in a few hours. I recommend J&S for any work you need done on your house!

So I was in a bind and needed someone to help finish an electrical job late Friday when a electrician friend of mine got caught in traffic and couldn't make it. I called some electricians on yelp who all told me that they couldn't do it until the next week and the quotes were outrageous. I found Johnny on yelp, gave him a call and he rearranged his schedule to come out and complete the job that day for a very fair price. He showed up on time, did the work for the quoted price and had a great attitude, even though it was no doubt the last job of the day (finishing near 10pm). As a side note, I told him that I was going to fix any drywall that was affected in running the romex and expected him to just leave the holes in the wall but he went above and beyond and patched everything and even did my first mud! I'll definitely be using him again in the future!

I recommend J&S for any work you need done on your house. After a bad experience with a previous handyman I called and J&S to repair my kitchen cabinets. I recently had some leaks and had to re-do my bottom cabinets, countertops, and drywall. Johnny and his crew were on, professional, on time, and very knowledgeable. They did a great job! I will be using them again in the future.

The door to our restroom would open in towards the bathroom, blocking one of the vanities. We had J&S Handyman Services come out and flip the door around. It now opens in the correct direction! It looks great! They did a great job and left things really clean. They were also very reasonably priced! We will definitely be using their services again!

Called for an estimate, set up an apt for a walk through and Johnny arrived as arranged. We walked the house and discussed the things that needed to be completed including new kitchen sink faucet, garbage disposal reconnect, bathroom faucet changes, new chandelier replacement, 2 new ceiling fan installs and other household repairs. I received an estimate later that day, excellent pricing, and arranged job for next day. Crew of 3 arrived on time and immediately started working. After 5 hours, all repeats and replacements completed. So happy with the work completed. Johnny amd his crew are so knowledgeable and get everything done right. So glad I didn't hire the rip off plumbers who wanted $800 to replace 3 faucets and a sink reconnect. Great job J and S! The plumber said if I didn't like his pricing, then hire a handyman ..... thanks for the advice mr plumber , you saved me tons of dough.

We were very impressed with Michael's professionalism and thoroughness when looking over what we needed, and he was prompt in getting back to us with the quote. However, are still seeking additional quotes from other companies.

J & S Handyman Services is definitely a service that I will use in the future knowing I don't have to be worried about being ripped off; it's these types of businesses that you usually have to hunt for after making expensive mistakes elsewhere. They were extremely flexible and accommodating with their availability. The price was very fair, and really a bargain considering the quality of the work! I had a new front door installed with custom trim. It was installed flawlessly. I wasn't sure the best options for replacing my interior trim but he was more than willing to design something that I thought was unique, of much higher quality than other trim that I have, and still got it all installed the same day!! He got this done even thought it was not part of the original plan and he had to go out and get materials unexpectedly. Seriously, if they're available, this business is the one you want to go to. It's hard to find this mixture of honestly and skill! Will definitely be using them in the future for all projects that I don't have time to tackle. Thank you!

We needed to get renovations done to put our house up for sale. We contacted Johnny and we are so glad that we did!
From day one Johnny showed true professionalism. He is on time, gives clear instructions, fair pricing and clean workmanship. We needed popcorn ceiling removal and the prices that we were getting from other contractors were way out there. Johnny's price was fair and his crew did an amazing job. The crew also did flooring, electrical, painting, screens and pick up work, all to new house standard. They are impressive.

Very dishonest and unethical. They promise provide report before I pay. But after i pay it, no one pick up the phone any more. I keep calling and texting them more than one week, but they never reply.

Johnny and Andrew did an amazing job installing our kitchen lighting! Very happy with final results!

J&S installed this door but not until they had to widen the opening and add additional framing to provide material to screw into. This was not an easy job. They also repainted my front door. The last painters applied new paint over old it it started to blister. J&S stripped the door down to the fiberglass, sealed, primed and painted. Again, not an easy job. The door looks like new. Very please with their workmanship,

Excellent work! Prompt! Reliable and professional would be the words I would use to describe J&S Handyman Services. They replaced some crown molding and repainted a redwood deck which required stripping it down lots of prep work and two coats of paint. Johnny was very thorough, neat and clean. I did have a bathroom ceiling fan that needs replacing and that is proving to be a challenge because my house is older and The newer fans won't fit. I'm undecided on how much construction/ cost I want to absorb to put in a new one.
I wouldn't hesitate to call J&S Handyman again for ANY repair .... Small or Big jobs... Johnny is very knowledgeable and will let you know his honest opinion on your home need. Highly recommend!!!

Took 2 weeks to quote me a very overpriced amount to change a bathtub cartridge and sink faucet. But they have done work for me in the past and the job was done well. It's just the slow responses and high price of this last quote that's left me feeling disappointed.

Johnny does an excellent job! He is very responsive and flexible in scheduling. His prices are fair and if any job is out of the scope of his ability he is willing to refer out. My husband and I have a rental in Canyon Crest that he tends to. We live out of state so it has been very important for us to find excellent and reliable service like this!
