Hercules Plumbing

My family has used Sal for about 15 years for various projects and homes.  He is reliable and friendly and an excellent plumber.  He recently did a complete re-pipe job and installed a tankless water heater in my home!  I would highly recommend him!!

Had a big problem with the toilets not draining and then backing up into shower and the tub. Called American Home Pro and they in turn had Hercules plumbing come to our home. Sal the plumber explained that it was like a network. Well Sal was VERY good and knowledgable in what needed to be done. We know that there are bigger problems that need to be addressed and we WILL be calling him but he was able to get things working so that we could take a shower and use the toilet without having to worry. Sal was very nice and we would want him to come back to fix our other issues. Thank you Sal. :)

Gilbert helped me to fix my pipeline. I have called 5 different plumbers to come and fix it, no one except Gilbert. This guy reserves 5 stars and more, I wish i can give him 10 stars if there is an option. He gave a good discounted rate and his work was fantastic. You wont regret when you call him to ask him for work. I really appreciate his work and his service.

Stay away from this guy, he is a rip off. He charged us $325 to repair a toilet. He never repaired the toilet. He also lied to attempt to get more money claiming there was a mainline blockage we sought the services of another plumber who verified there was no blockage. The other plumber verified that this guy, Sal or Solomon or Herecules Plumbing or whatever he calls himself today is a rip off.

We came home to find a puddle of water on the floor and water dripping from the ceiling. We turned off the water supply to the house and waited anxiously till the morning to look for a plumber. We found Sal and his Hercules Plumbing! My property manager has been using their service for the last few years. Sal Jr. and his fellow worker came within a few hours and quickly identified the cause of leak. They fixed the damaged pipe without having to break any wall and the charge was much smaller than what I was dreading of. They were super professional and I was impressed with their experience and no-nonsense demeanor. This is a family business with father and son and a few other employees. Very professional! I am happy knowing whom to call next time!

Sal was able to help me today with a clogged AC drain. He was referred by my warranty company and was a pleasure to work with.  He was very patient with my scheduling, I had a couple things pop up and he fit me in at my convenience. I had an another issue while he was there and he talked to my warranty company to help me get it resolved. He saved me another service fee and stuck around to complete the job.

Had a problem with my kitchen sink backing up, I called and Sal and his coworker were at my home within 2 hours. Cleaned out my drain in less than 30 minutes. Great customer service and very friendly. I will definitely keep them for future use.  Great job!!!

Hercules Plumbing came to my house when my outdoor spigot sprung a huge leak. He came in a hurry, to get my water back on. Their prices were very reasonable, and they did a great job! I recommend them highly.

I guess gone are the days of doing legitimate business.. If I could give them less than the 1 star rating I would. We initially contacted this company for them to come out and give an estimate.  We later found out the problem was actually not a plumbing issue but an AC issue and decided to keep the appointment as we needed other work done. The guy Sal came out and fixed our shower fixtures in one of our bathroom. He also put a drain plug in the second bathroom.  So $275 later, so not worth it... we later discovered he charged us twice! Here's the good part. The charge hit on 2 separate days which means he ran the charge on 2 separate days. How does that happen??? We called and he blew it off as if it was no big deal! Well I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it is a big deal! So if you're looking for a plumber don't go with this company unless you want your hard earned coins to be taken without consent! I'm sure we could all use our money right now. Hope this helps!

Wonderful family owned business. Sal Jr. was very pleasant and professional. He installed a water heater for my parents today on very short notice. Prices were extremely reasonable compared to other companies we had contacted. We will definitely have him back for other plumbing issues. I highly recommend this business!

I came home at 6 pm to a backed up mainline . I called a Sal and they literally showed up at my house within 15 minutes of the call . 10 minutes later ,the line was cleared and all showers and toilets were working perfectly. The price was also less than what I had been charged by other plumbers in the past for the same service. Will never call another plumber again.

Recently called Sal regarding some plumbing issues. He not only is a professional, competent  plumber but is also honest. We own several rental properties and will use him on all of our future plumbing. The price for his work is very reasonable compared to other plumbing companies. It is so hard to find a fair and honest plumber these days!  Thanks Sal for your great work and honesty on diagnosing our plumbing problem.

We had water leaking near our bathroom toilet. I set up an appointment with Hercules plumbing. They called to advise us they was running behind schedule. Would the later time still be ok? That was nice.
They replaced our toilet and did other minor plumbing issues we had.
They are honest, fast and efficient. The are very reasonable priced.
We would use them again.I give them FIVE stars.

Called them in the morning to explain my issue, Sal was able to squeeze me in his route that same day. I ended up paying less for the job than what was originally quoted by phone. I don't know the first thing regarding plumbing so I was happy to see that he didn't take advantage of this. Honest, fast, reliable would definitely use them again!

Hercules plumbing is amazing! Sal and Paulo were extremely helpful. They came in and changed 30ft of pipe under my house and were able to get it done in a reasonable time, and the price was amazing! So helpful!! Id definitely  recommend them to my family when they have plumbing issues!

I had called Hercules Plumbing last year and I was so impressed with Sal's professionalism and his prices being so reasonable, I called him again for a problem I had Wednesday with a leaking toilet. I spoke with Sal's son, Sal Jr. and he was fantastic. He came within 20 minutes and fixed the problem within an hour. Sal Jr. is professional and the cost of the repair was reasonable. I will continue to call Hercules Plumbing for all the plumbing needs for my home. Thank you for your service.

Sal came out the day after I spoke with him. We had 2 showers in the house that barely any water trickled out. He fixed both perfectly and we are having him come back and put in a tankless water heater.  Great guy, great price, great service!!!

Very punctual. Provided an assessment and cost to do work. Good to have an honest and reliable local plumber.

My landlord contracted with this company and sent a plumber from Hercules to address an issue with our water heater (we weren't getting hot water unless we ran multiple faucets and one of the showers wasn't getting hot water at all). The plumber said he'd most likely have to go through dry wall around the shower to fix the issue. He added that there's nothing we can do about the water heater. When I challenged his conclusions he actually snapped at me yelling, You're not a plumber! You don't know anything! I called the landlord and expressed my shock. She apologized and sent her handyman who addressed the issue with a few new parts. I try to avoid writing reviews for small businesses out of anger, but I sat on this for several months and I'm still concerned about the integrity, honesty and sanity of Hercules Plumbing.

I do not believe the five star ratings on this business are legitimate, since I had the most unpleasant and unreliable experience with them. A total waste of my morning.

I had an appointment with them at 10:00. They showed up at 11:00. Once he arrived, he informs me he has the wrong part and would have to come back. I had texted him the picture of the pipe needed before. I inform him there is a Home Depot very close. He tells me he would have to charge me a lot more money if he goes to get the part. Originally he had quoted me $300 when he got there it jumped up to $375. I volunteered to go get the part while he did whatever he needed to do. He agreed, as I was in the parking lot of Home Depot he calls me and tells me he would have to comeback another day. Now he says he needs another part.

The truth is, I do not think he knew how to do the job and also knew I was about to find out the REAL price of the part. A very dishonest man and super unreliable. Do not do business with someone who does not know how to conduct himself and his business with ethical standards.

My hot water heater started leaking. I called and with in a few hours Sal was there with the new water heater.  Took 2 hours to complete the job.  Fast responsible, reliable.  He also did a great job last year on my boyfriends mobile home.  That was a bigger job.  I would recommend Hercules Plumbing.

They only came for an estimate and talked to me like I was a stupid woman, laughed in my face when I questioned them, and then walked out.  Very unprofessional.  They don't know how to explain things and lack professionalism.  I can't imagine they would have ever spoken to a man the way they spoke to me.

My water heater stopped working. I reported it to my home warranty and they assigned Hercules plumbing to the job. Shortly after being assigned the job, Hercules plumbing reached out to me and scheduled an appointment right away to inspect the water tank, and the very following next morning, they had already communicated with my insurance and were installing a new water tank. My boiler pilot wouldn't stay lit, thus I  didn't have any hot water. I called Hercules Plumbing. They were at my home within a couple of hours to inspect my boiler and recommended it needed to get replaced (it was 24 years old). A new boiler was installed the following morning (yay, hot water). Hercules plumbing was very professional, punctual, and offered outstanding work.  I will definitely call on them for any plumbing issues I may have in the future.
