My sink was draining very slowly and after attempting to clear it myself, it was still no good. I've seen and heard nothing but good things about Paw's Plumbing so I gave them a call! They set up a next day appointment and had their technician Michael out here to help us out. It was a bad clog and took longer than expected to clear the drain, but Michael was determined to get it cleared and eventually did! Very nice and hard working, it was a pleasure having Michael work in our home and I'll be calling Paw's again if I ever need any plumbing work done! Thanks again!

Eric was so knowledgeable and trustworthy. He suggested a fix that would save me money. I highly recommend Eric@ Paws and will definitely request him in the future. Wonderful guy who loves sports as much as I do!

Excellent service, and came out in less than a day. They helped us with a MAJOR clog in our master bathroom shower, and we were back to normal in no time. Thank you!

My 40-year-old toilet was becoming wobbly when you sat on it and I was afraid the problem would only worsen with time. I thought I needed a plumber to solve the problem and that it would cost me around $250 to remove and reinstall the toilet.  I contacted Don from J Geyer Plumbing Who just happened to be working on another house across the street from me. He said he would be happy to look at my toilet and give me a free estimate when he was finished on his current job in a couple of hours which would make it around 2:30 PM.  Sure enough right on time he arrived at my door with a smile on his face and a friendly hello. I let him into my bathroom and explained the issues I had with the loose toilet. He explained that he could fix it with some caulking, that it didn't need to be removed.  I realized at that point I could fix it myself and he agreed that it was an easy job I just need to clean it very well and apply the sealant. There was no charge for this advice. The next day I did as he indicated and my toilet is now perfectly solid thanks to Don.  I am so happy to have found a new plumber who is competent and friendly offers free estimates and free good advice.

We got the keys to our new house on Monday and knew we had a few minor plumbing issues. We used PAWS plumbing on a recent job a few months ago at our old house and wanted to use them again for this job. I called on Monday and they were able to schedule an appointment for Wednesday. Greg came out on Wednesday morning and was awesome. I showed him the few issues, plus a few other questions I had. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and fixed our issue right away. He even gave some advice on routine maintenance and gave us helpful information regarding our water heater. He wore his mask throughout the appointment as well. Plus our dog was very excited to meet him. We will be using PAWS in the future for sure!

Replaced a bathtub drain and two toilets.  I greatly appreciated that, despite it being a hot day, the fully vaccinated plumber (Michael) was willing to wear a mask.  I also asked him about installing a water softener/filter and learned some very important info from him that will determine which type we purchase.  Price was fair. Work was good quality.  Highly recommend - have him coming back to do more work.

As you'll see from my other reviews it is extremely important to me to support family owned and operated small businesses. Paw plumbing is just that. The response time, the quality of the employees and the owner is second to none in a field typically associated with the opposite. Also the commitment to animals is a noteworthy added bonus. We've use their for our own house, our apartments and referred them to many friends. Could not suggest them enough.  Thank you Brett and jack.

Been using paws Plumming now for a couple of months for the family business down in National city. The ladies in the office always seem to answer the phone with a smile on. Super responsive And always honest with time frames and quotes. If you seem to have a question about the quote or want to change something, just ask! I swear I've asked Robert and everyone in the office a million different silly questions. I don't know Plumming, so being able to ask a ton of question and not feel like an idiot about it has been refreshing.

Also as someone who runs off of a very tight schedule, getting text alerts about your technicians ETA has been a breath of fresh air. Plus the photo of your technician so I actually know who is going be showing up has been very nice too!

This is the second time I've used Paws Plumbing and both have been great. The first time we had a heat pump water heater installed. They came out the next day and had it installed in a few hours.

This past time we had high water pressure in our house and guest house and needed new pressure regulators. Dispatcher Nick got me setup right away and technician Eric did a fantastic job on the pressure regulators. One of the regulators was on pvc near irrigation controls and isn't a standard setup and Eric installed it no problem and cleaned up the whole setup. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I will continue to use Paws Plumbing for any plumbing issues we have.

I dropped a soap dispenser in my sink and cracked it. One contractor said they would have to rip out my countertop and install a new sink. Paws Plumbing offered a free visit consultation and Michael and Jake came. Since it's an under mount sink, they helped me order a similar one online to fit my vanity. Michael came out and did the work. I'm so thankful for their honest service and good pricing.

I hate to give one star, but I have to tell the truth.
We had Paws service to fix our no hot water issue for our tankless water heater the week before last Christmas. They came twice in a week, changed some parts and charged $ 899, still no hot water. We were told the only way to get hot water back is to knock down the dry wall in the garage and clean the pipes, it will cost us another $4000 to fix the problems. We were so desperate without hot water in cold winter in a week, also another $4000 is way too much for us. My husband made the call to another plumber the next day, he came and got our hot water back in 20 minutes.

We first contacted Paws since the company had good rating on Yelp, but the performance for us was below our expectation.

I talked to the manager that we don't need their service any more, since we got our hot water without knocking down the dry wall, also I asked for some reasonable money back for their wrong diagnosis and job incomplete, he promised me he'll get back to me. But I have not hear anything from the manger til now. Very sad experience:-(

My water heater stopped working late last night so I reached out on yelp to see if I could schedule something in the morning.  I woke up and a response was there saying they could be here by 8am.  The technician (Keith) showed up on time and was friendly and courteous and answered any questions I had.  He had to go get a new water heater to install but even including that time, he was done before noon.  They did a great job and I'd recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work.

We LOVED Michael. He showed up wearing a mask and was super helpful and courteous. Booking the consultation was very easy here on Yelp and they were great about getting back to us quickly. We never felt like he was trying to upsell us. It was a terrific experience. We will absolutely use Paws again when needed!

I requested Paws to send someone to fix two dripping faucets; one bathroom, one kitchen. The plumber who came out critiqued all of the plumbing in my house and informed me of costs that would amount to almost $3900. He did not fix the two faucets. He told me that the bathroom faucet was unrepairable and that I would need to purchase a new bathroom faucet. He said I would also need a new water heater and other associated products.
I was frustrated with the fact that the faucets were still leaking so I got a different plumber to come out the next day. The second plumber (from a different company) fixed both faucets in less than 2 hours for $370.
I feel like I was being hoodwinked by PAWS into spending way more than what was necessary.  My advice is; don't trust Paws!

Had an appointment from 12-2. At 12:30 they called saying the tech was finishing up in 15 minutes and will be on his way. At 2 I called and the tech was still on the previous job and not sure when he was going to finish now. Then they wanted to reschedule after I had been waiting for 2 hours and me calling not them. Will never use them.

My garbage disposal broke right before thanksgiving ... they came right out and fixed it for a very reasonable price! Saved me! Recommend very highly!

Paws Plumbing was very quick in responding to my bathroom sink issue. The drain pipe was loose, leaking water and the faucet/drain stopper needed to be replaced. They were able to get the repair done within 2 hours.  The original 31 yr old water heater was also found leaking. And they were able to replace it same day.  All repairs were completed within a few hours and for very reasonable prices. (They even offer military discount). I was really impressed with Zaby and Milton's professional and courteous demeanor. They were very considerate and helpful. I definitely will use Paws Plumbing again for some of my future plumbing issues.

We had a leak in our Bathroom in early December and put out the Bat signal on Yelp for a plumber. I'm glad that Paws Plumbing was first to be able to make it out. The master plumber Eric and his apprentice were very professional, polite and informative. My husband and I work from home and had no problem working while they diagnosed, advised us of our apparent wax ring leak beneath the toilet and were able to give an accurate time to finish up and referred a reliable restoration company. I also appreciated that I overheard Eric teaching his apprentice that there were right and wrong ways he may see in the profession but never to take short cuts. That definitely made me appreciate them even more.
It's been a busy time but I wanted to be sure to write a review to note how pleased we were with the service and ethics of this company and their employees. Thank you!

I can't say enough great things about this company!  We had a major water main leak project and they dispatched Eric immediately.  Not only did he fix the previous plumbers mistakes, he took care of the issue and problem solved some unique situations.  Since then we have had our water heater and filtration system serviced and every time Eric is thorough and informative.  Really appreciate great family style local companies and employees like Eric.  Thank you Paws - highly recommended by me!

Inquired this cimpany through Yelp to get an estimate for my garbage disposal replacement. Instead of asking for more details to give an estimate, he insisted that the estimate can be only given onsite! This is an old scam of course. They get to come over and then throw astronomical prices and since the customer has to pay for a service call anyway, and get stuck with paying him an insane amount. Other negative reviews on yelp also reflect this. Stay away from these charlatans!

I had a minor plumbing issue, and found Paws here on Yelp. They were able to send someone out immediately even though it wasn't an emergency. Eric did the job, and he was professional, courteous, left everything clean, and charged a fair price. I will definitely be calling them again for the next issue, large or small.

One of my favorite companies to work with so far. They were quick and accommodating with my schedule as I needed a leaky shower fixed right before putting my house on the market. They also have a texting system which alerts you to their arrival...very convenience.

Don kicked ass. He was sweating and getting dirty tearing massive roots out of our toilet drain pipe. I imagine some plumbers would have ran away. Really nice guy!

Update: For your own sake please read this before you employ PAWS Plumbing.  My original review came after Robert provided me great professional service when he came out to inspect the work that needed being done. That is where the professionalism ended and my nightmare begins.  I employed PAWS Plumbing to fix a slab leak. They successfully performed a reroute of my hot water pipes, but they created a new leak in my bathroom.

Following the realization that they caused this leak that was causing damage to my bathroom wall, floor, and vanity they quickly came out and stopped the leak. They then led me on to believe that they were going to take care of the mitigation and restoration needed because of the damage they caused. Pretty soon though, they stopped answering my texts and would give me infrequent and inadequate updates. Then they sent out an insurance adjuster who implied that I would be responsible due to the fact that I hadn't immediately gotten the damage repaired immediately. The reason I didn't get it repaired immediately is because PAWS Plumbing led me to believe they were going to take care of it.  

My wife and I have been living out of a hotel room for weeks now as we wait for repairs to take place as we have no accessible bathroom.  

Now I have found out that while doing my repairs, they violated my building code. Fixing their mistake will cost even more money and require a new plumber.  

Lastly, while they were doing the work they asked me if I had chosen anyone to do the drywall and paint restoration. I said not yet, so they referred me to a friend of theirs. I always think it's better to help people like this, so I said yes. This person they referred me to was absolutely incompetent and unprofessional. He had two teenagers skipping school to do the work, and they left a complete mess. While the contractors fix the mistakes made by PAWS Plumbing, they will also be fixing the mistakes made by this referral. This referral is also the person who identified the leak, and insisted it was coming from pipes that PAWS Plumbing didn't touch, which caused the accurate diagnosis of the leak to take an additional 5 days.  

I cannot discourage you enough from working with PAWS Plumbing. The most pathetic part of this whole ordeal - they never even apologized.  

Save yourself. Don't work with PAWS Plumbing.

Will was super responsive from the start, and very fair! Hard to get a plumber to reply these days, and Will was willing to work with us with multiple scheduling options to fix our urgent matter, and got the job done quickly and fairly!

Great customer service and great prices.   They responded via Yelp within hours and scheduled within 1 day. Will use again.

I contacted one of their plumbers directly, Greg DiStefano, that i had used several time before he joined the PAWS team. I had a water heater installed 4.5 years ago by one of the big TV ad companies. Their salesman ( the other company) sold me a cheap unit and a 10 year extended warranty. I had the installing company come out and they told me the wind blew out the pilot ( unit is inside my garage. One week later it happened again- and that company told me they couldn't help me.

So after contacting Greg and being directed to PAWS i was given an appointment for the next day. I was thrilled when they had a cancellation the same day. I chose to replace the unit since it was impossible to wait for hot water especially during the pandemic and approaching holiday season.

Greg arrived, switched out the unit and within the hour i had hot water and it was easy to see on this unit if the pilot was out - if it was on there is a flashing green light i can see from my kitchen door!

The guys from Paws showed up after an initial request via Yelp in about an hour for a free estimate on putting a new ball valve in my outdoor shower.  Their bid was fair, actually way less than other plumbers who tried to upsell me something I did not need.  They did such a good job that I gave them another job to put a new ball valve and hose bib on my water main.  They accomplished all the work, and cleaned up.  Very professional, courteous, sincere and easy to deal with.  Thank god that I found Paws, I will not be using any other plumber this point forward; I highly recommend Paws.

We had a terrible smell coming from our shower drain. Eric was extremely thorough to help us find the root of the problem and always arrived on time.

Dishonest and damaged other fixtures when they came in. Initially lied about it, until it was quite obvious it was from the result of their work. Proceeded to lie about ordering new fixtures to replace the damaged ones for approximately 7 months where they were non responsive and come to find they never placed the fixtures on order at all.

The guys were very helpful and smart solving my water pump issue in record time. I'll be calling Paws back for any future needs for sure.

these guys were great.  The most honest, up front, and caring group I've come across in a while.  I had some bad experiences with other plumbers, which led me to Paws, and they saved the day!

I had a toilet flange that needed repair. Jeff from Paws showed up literally only an hour after my call to give me a free inspection and quote. Instead of pushing me to accept his quote, he actually taught me how to fix it by myself so that I don't waste any money. I mean the technician literally borrowed my tools and showed me every move that I need to do to fix it, and guess what, I fixed it all by myself two hours later. Thank you Jeff and Paws!

We have 2 shower heads that we're broken and I called Paws Plumbing out. They were quick to respond and scheduled us asap which should of been a flag.

To make a long story short, they damaged the tub, and left a mess in both bathrooms. I called multiple times until I got someone to call me back regarding these issues.

According to them they did not scratch the tube up and they were sorry for the mess. Asked if I needed anything else. The End.

We had a water heater problem. So the landlord contacted Paws plumbing. They sent Eric. He was great, he arrived on time, and was very professional. He explained everything and tried fixing the water heater by replacing the thermostat. It turned out it was the water heater itself as it was old and was inconsistent when it comes to heating up water. But guess what, he swapped out the entire water heater by himself. And it's working great since. Thanks!

I LOVE Paws Plumbing! I'm a Realtor and needed a reliable second plumber for my clients who can perform certain tasks that my regular plumber doesn't do (ex. Drain Scoping). I now refer Paws to all of my clients. This review is over due by a few weeks.

Eric Myatt & Mike are AWESOME! (Not sure of Mike's last name - about same age as Eric.) They came to a property my clients were buying in Normal Heights (it was Eric's 2nd time there) to identify an area of cracked clay pipe underground that we'd found on the Drain Scoping / Sewer Lateral video. We were having totally unrelated water pressure issues in the master bathroom shower and they both helped me troubleshoot that just to be nice. They completely figured out the issue & solved the problem on site. Turned out to be super minor and at the time it was making the deal extremely difficult!

Their expertise is extensive, they are EXTREMELY thorough (I have many more examples), they are operating safely with masks these days, and they're just generally really nice human beings who care about their service. I will request them on all of my jobs now for my clients!

Paws Plumbing's pricing is fair, they're knowledgeable, and their customer service is excellent too. All around good company!

We had a back-up of our main line on Sunday (of course). I contacted a number of plumbers. Paws Plumbing responded first thing Monday and had Michael out to my house within 2 hours. Luckily, the issue was minor and easily resolved. I appreciated the responsiveness on Yelp and Michael's courteous and helpfulness. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

Most plumbers know pretty well what they are doing around the pipes and drains in your house.   The thing that separates PAWS is the communication, professionalism and modernized systems they use to set, keep and track appointments.  Quick callbacks to my after hours messages.  

They are not super expensive ... but if you want it done right don't go to the fly-by-night discount places.  Use PAWS plumbing!

I just got off the phone with them about my next job, a dishwasher install booked with 1 day notice!  So smooth and easy.

We had an emergency sink clog/leak issue in our condo unit in Downtown San Diego and called Paws last minute. Will with Paws was quick to get back to us after we reached out via Yelp and was able to give us a precise 2-hour window when the technician could be there for a free inspection. I later got a call saying that the plumber would actually be able to arrive two hours ahead of schedule which was perfect given the issue needed to be fixed ASAP. Upon arrival, Eric quickly assessed and quoted our issue at a far more competitive price than the competition. After fixing the clog/leak, Eric cleaned up the sink and cabinet area with cleaner--something I haven't seen with many other plumbing companies around town.

All around top-notch service, great pricing, and an unclogged drain!

Where do we begin?
January 2023 the quote was finally sent days after an hour of debating the best way to run water lines from adjacent bathroom through ceiling/walls etc- technician nick seemed easily confused right off the rip. I then took one 5 minute lap around the entire suite which had not been done yet by the plumber of course, and found a fresh water line and a DRAIN from an old bathroom that had been converted.
Yay me right ?  
Right there I should have known I had more wherewithal than the fools I was about to hire. We agreed upon a price of 2,000, which I thought was VERY HIGH since the drain and the fresh water lines were already THERE per my lap around the room. it's highway robbery but; it was ONE half a  days work and 6 hours of labor... I PAID in full.  
Cut to march 13th? - I'm FURIOUS because :
The pipes, connector pieces, hoses and drain lines are still leaking, paws has been in and around me, clients, the salon and the taco shop below well OVER a DOZEN times in ONE MONTH always showing up like the hero's they're certainly NOT. They are unskilled and it's laughable because of all the helpless crying I've done over WATER. I literally laugh and roll my eyes out of PURE frustration when I see their trucks- - I want to see nicks plumbing license for my records. This is lawsuit city ? How DUMB can these guys be ? I've asked myself for weeks now ...
Their front desk girl Hailey apologized for the massive black plumbing glue STAINS all over my bran new white floors as if she ever owned her own flooring that was destroyed, but has yet to have them cleaned or compensated me even though and despite the fact that I sent a receipt for 600$ from Stanley steamer.
Not one time in the OVER 13 emergency visits did they drop a CLOTH to protect my floors. Just plain and simple disrespect for females - they would never do that in a man's house. Get  F'd.
They've costed me thousands of dollars by not having water, not having hot water,  having water pour out onto my floors,  bursting through the ceiling into the restaurant below, then no water in general again? and again, and again and again. Every day. Every other day? Every single day ? Not to mention the TOwels, laundry and cleaning supplies it takes to remedy their mistakes. They won't do the work to FIX it. They are putting bandaids up daily and pissing me right off- They don't do simple things like tighten and fasten things all the way and/or glue them properly so water keeps busting all over -we are dealing with highly incompetent technicians. I'm worse than mad. They've taken food and clothes at this point off mine and my families damn backs.
They have absolutely no remorse. The Only remorse the owner had ? was yo  complain to ME that his employee nick took another 500 cash from me but reminded me it was out of his pockets to hook up my fresh water line for the washing machine for towels (which also leaked everywhere ) This company Lacks skill, integrity and if you're a female ? or a female owned business ? They expect you to clean every mess, every cut pipe, every piece of metal and plastic ? A lot of mini shrapnel everywhere, every single time these clowns left. I spent more than 6 hours of labor cleaning up after paws plumbing -i  paid them 2500 in full and my water/water lines etc is/are still leaking months later and my floors are still trashed and not one apology except from the desk girl ? or refund offered.
I've now, just this past week of march 6-13th? It's gotten to the point that I have had to have the head of maintenance of the building I rent from , the property managers, the owners, now overseeing every ignoramus move paws plumbing makes, because it's been such a hellacious experience and I literally cannot afford to loose anymore time or money because of paws plumbing.
They have royally F'd me. I told their head tech Michael that we need a real plumber and he replied I know a guy hahhahaha

It's not funny. I'm not laughing. At all.

I am going to the small claims and the BBB because I've given them weeks and now MONTHs to make it right and they just don't care. I'm STILL leaking as of march 10th - I'm a hairstylist not an idiot. This was my 5th salon build out... never in my life have I had plumbers be so embarrassing and incompetent to the craft my GOD! Pray for paws plumbing and pray for The Hair Lounge of La Jolla.

Please Do not give them your money.
They will take it and run and leave you to clean up the mess. Literally-  they take your money and leave you with a  massive mess because you've already paid the bill.

I had a cracked toilet bowl and needed it replaced. Eric came out to quote and replace the toilet. I accepted the quote and he went to get the toilet and installed it. The toilet was a little tall for the space. Eric gave me the option to continue to use the old tank or he could take extra time to cut the new tank cap to make it lower so it would fit. I really appreciated that he did take the extra time to make the new tank fit and that the whole experience of replacing a toilet was easy for me. They did the procurement and installation. Will the dispatcher was great, too. He kept me informed of when the plumber would show up and even took initiative to see if I wanted to change to an earlier appointment time since it became available. Highly recommended.

Very happy with the service we received today from Jacob and Angus. They cleaned out two drains and replaced a valve. We will definitely use Paws plumbing again.

Extremely rude and argumentative plumber who refused to wear a mask though the other two plumbers courteously and respectfully wore masks. Paws posted that they keep their customers and employees safe...this is counter to what I experienced.

Very responsive, sent a plumber out for an estimate the same day. Unfortunately the estimate was for 600+ when the only problem was a minor leak. Probably just a faulty o ring or a part that needs replacement but the plumber did not look inside the faucet to determine. Maybe a recommendation to replace the entire sink is the right call but it was not at all clear that what the suggestion was based on.

Paws worked out great. A fair estimate and good experience with Michael who did the estimate and later the install. Things got very complicated because the Kohler tub cracked after installation and they helped me thru the process of working directly with the Kohler Co. since I supplied the tub and had it delivered. After Kohler replaced the tub and reimbursed me for the install labor, PAWS came back and did the removal and reinstall. The final visit by Michael was to do the final trim-out on the shower faucet and tub filler which went very well.  This was a new bathroom and they had to get into the crawl space to do the connections. They also did the toilet and sink install.  Highly recommend them after all that. They showed a lot of patience and experience on this project.

Not sensitive to changing needs of customers relative to COVID.

Even prior to COVID who wants multiple technicians or estimators coming out if a quote can be given online. But now during COVID with the recent uptick in COVID cases this is even more important.  

This company is unwilling to provide any kind of ball park estimate on work even if you provide pictures.

Unlike other plumbers who are glad to work with you and give you an idea of what the variables might be, the expected cost, of course with proviso that it could change one way or another if you pick them and they physically come out.

Because of every possible variable cannot be anticipated.

However, if they can't provide an estimate, maybe that means they are inexperienced with what you need done or worse they are trying to prevent you from shopping around.

Working with Paws plumbing has been one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I typically use Yelp to write positive reviews for local businesses as I like promoting good places and work, but unfortunately this time I am writing this negative review to hopefully save someone from going through the horrible experience my family and I have dealt with for months since we began working with Paws plumbing. They are extremely unknowledgeable and inexperienced workers.  They caused a leaked not only in my condo, but also in in neighbors restroom. In additional to that they were unaware that we had a second sink in our room and we had no water running there. When I showed their work to plumbers from other companies, they have been shocked and appalled by the terrible work that was done here. It has been more than a month and we still are not able to use our bathroom. It has been completely sealed off, the sink in our restroom is clogged up, and our neighbor's restroom flooring has been ruined. In an effort to help whoever is reading through these reviews, please look elsewhere. This is the worst company I have ever worked with, and although you don't know me, I would not want anyone else to go through this.

Thank you Paws Plumbing! Was in a pinch with a new fridge I had delivered. I needed a waterline replaced to get the new fridge hooked up and working. Greg arrived within 20 minutes of me calling and fixed my issue and got my new fridge up and running in record time!! We called Friday, hoping for a quick repair to a leaking faucet.  There was a cancellation, so we were able to get the repair earlier than expected.  Greg helped us out and did a great job.  We planned on removing the faucet in the garage altogether, but he made a convincing point to keep the faucet, but just to cap it - you never know when we might want a faucet one day.  Thank you Greg for your quick and great repair!

Michael was able to arrive ahead of schedule and communicated via phone and text to let me know his eta, which was great. He was professional, solution oriented . He took care of issues with my kitchen faucet, reverse  osmosis system and garbage disposal, and dishwasher. He was transparent with pricing gave me an estimate ahead of time before performing the work. He  cleaned up after himself and processed my payment quickly. Will definitely use Paws Plumbing again.

Paws Plumber, Robert did an excellent job! He removed an existing (unsightly) faucet and installed our new Rohl faucet.  The switch out involved cutting the existing valve off, and reconfiguring the water pipes to accommodate for the bridge style faucet.

Super customer service, on time, had all parts on the truck. When Kel arrived we showed him what we needed fixed, he made some suggestions, provided a quote and got to work. Couldn't be happier with PAWS service and communication. Work was done right - problems solved. (Replaced pressure regulator and two leaky hose bibs $550, parts and labor). Kel is great at his job-knows what he's doing and is a great problem solver.

Don't ignore your pressure regulator-it failed on our last home when we were out of town causing a flood and $70k damage inside. Thankfully insurance covered.

I'm a Property Manager in Carlsbad, North County San Diego. My company is Premiere Property Management - RentalSD.com  I rarely take on rental properties for management more then 10 miles away from my area of business in North County.  A friend of mine who lives in the UK asked me to manage his property down in San Diego in the Clairemont area, further then I prefer to travel. But because he was a friend, I agreed. I had the property painted and fixed up and needed a plumber to check out some plumbing issues in the property on East Fox Run. My usual plumber did not want to travel to Clairemont so I looked for local Clairemont plumber on Yelp and found Paws Plumbing. I set up an appointment today and met Keith and Christian from Paws Plumbing at the property. They arrived on time and they were great! They checked everything out and we discovered their were no serious plumbing problems. If I have any more properties that need plumbing work down in the San Diego area, I'll be calling these guys at Paws Plumbing.

Our master bath shower faucet would not turn off on Wednesday morning and we frantically started calling around for repairs within the North County area.  After contacting Paws Plumbing through Yelp, Dispatcher Will promptly responded back and was able to schedule a time to send over someone to do a consultation.  After having the water turned off to our house for 24 hours we were happy to welcome Technician Eric for our consultation Thursday morning.  
Eric was pleasant and professional when he arrived with a mask and shoe coverings at our front door.  Although we had tried to purchase new hardware for our shower and sink faucet replacements he kindly informed us that it would not match what was needed for the repair.  He was able to provide both a consultation and start the repair work the same day!
As our shower was the first priority that was completed on Thursday and we worked with Will to schedule another appointment for Monday for our troublesome sink faucets. All the work was completed within the estimated time frame. Paws plumbing is highly recommended!

I am a little late writing this review but I wanted to add that I used Paws Plumbing twice again for some work in a rental I have because of the previous positive experience.  I had Eric come out to plumb a couple of sinks.  Once again, Eric did a phenomenal job and performed quick, clean and solid work!

I was in desperate need - my toilet was completely clogged.  They sent over a guy within an hour of my email message.  He did a great job and was really friendly.  They gave me a quote before he made any repairs.  Was reasonably priced.  They also are outfitted for covid19 with masks, and even foot covers.  Highly recommended!

Greg and the headquarters support was A++.  I found PAWS Plumbing on the internet and was really impressed how quickly they helped, how organized they are, their fair pricing and Greg was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.  Will definitely use their services again.

I love companies that don't always jump to the most expensive conclusion for their customer.  Had a odor issue in the kitchen.  Paws provided a let's try this first solution which cost about $40 instead of the $1200 full drain clean.  First solution  worked.  Thank you Paws for being honest!  You're my first call next time I need work.

Rule of thumb when hiring a plumber -- always get an understanding of their rates before they show up! An experienced licensed plumber in San Diego gets around $35-40 an hour by their employer. I've been hiring plumbers and gladly pay $80-$140 per hour due to overhead, insurance, and profit. No problem.

The danger is when you hire a company that offers free assessments without making it clear what they will actually charge. Here at Paws there is no published rate sheet or hourly rate.  What they do instead is charge by the job -- in essence a flat rate. So if the job is to say to fix a faucet.... The price is $260 for example even if it's a ten minute task or a two hour. Period.... no exceptions etc.

I was blindsided when they arrived to fix two issues. One cost $360 and it was maybe an hour job and a few parts. It required replacing some piping so I didn't complain even though it was pricey. But when they quoted $460 to repair a faucet, I choked.

I examined the faucet and it was brand new but defective. So we went to pick up a new assembly. I then asked how much to just replace the faucet -  two water connections (ten minutes) and one drain reconnection (ten minutes) and maybe another ten minutes fooling around for a max of 30-40 minutes. Well the price is fixed at $260! Didn't matter if it took 30 minutes or 3 hours. I honestly expected $150 or so at the highest!

I called the owner to complain. He was quite friendly and at first was trying to help solve the problem. But he still quoted $260. Balderdash! I cry! He claimed warranty and insurance. I laugh. I hang up and say goodbye forever to the folks at Paws.

My attorney, accountant, physical therapist - all professionals don't charge by the job lol . They charge a fair value by the hour. Paws is clearly got a good game going on -- for Paws. Not for you.

Paws is making a fortune in the plumbing business it seems. Based on an age old marketing technique. When someone gives you something for free, one always feels obligated to return in kind.  I felt very obligated and went ahead on the one job. But I held in reserve my decision on the second until I fully understood what's going in here.

My only recommendation to Paws is to fix their crazy flat pricing so it's competitive and fair. It's malarkey at these rates.

I'd avoid this one.

These guys are great at what they do.  We had a plumbing leak somewhere under the house.  Water was coming up from the ground under the bathtub area.  I hired them to come out and fix the leak before the water damaged more of the home.  

When I set the appointment, they told me who was going to arrive and sent me a picture of the plumber!  Robert is awesome.  He showed up on time, in a clean uniform and in a clean and professional vehicle with all the tools needed to do the job.  He performed an electronic leak detection and pinpointed exactly where the leak was located in the concrete foundation, then gave me options for how to repair the problem.  His estimate was in writing and they were very fair.  The repair was completed when they promised and the problem is solved.

I'm recommending them to everyone I know.

Robert Goins of Paws Plumbing is simply PHENOMENAL!!!! He's seriously one of the best plumbers I've ever known (& I'm a Realtor, so I know many). He is THE BEST when it comes to tricky & large jobs for sure.

I own a salon suites concept in La Jolla and we had toilet backups for 8 months. My landlords' Property Manager brought out multiple unskilled plumbers who took 2+ months incorrectly identify and another MONTH to incorrectly repair/replace a break in a drain line (cause of backups).

I knew Paws could identify the break on the spot (because I've helped clients have this same thing done many times), so I begged for months to bring them out. Landlords spent $10K+ on the bad plumbers fixing the break, but it was unsuccessful. They'd put an improper fitting connecting new PVC to existing cast iron. A fitting they shouldn't have used underground. Toilet fully backed up again within 1 month. Landlords finally allowed me to bring Paws out. Robert & Taylor found the issues (2 more breaks & the improper fitting) in about 10 minutes and they fixed it within 5 days or might've been 4 (including jackhammering a ton of concrete flooring and repouring level concrete). They were our saviors after 8 months of nonsense and rarely being able to use our toilet.

I trust them with hydrojetting regularly now too. And they're very informative when they do a sewer lateral / drain scoping inspection.

They cancelled a job day-of. It happens. When they re-scheduled I had a 12-2pm window. 12pm came....1pm...no communication. I called the office and was told the plumber was on a lunch break. That's totally fine! As long as you tell me. I suddenly got for four calls in a row around 2pm. I called back and the plumber in question seemed drunk. He was slurring his words and not making any sense at all. He said he didn't have my phone number. But we were talking on the phone? So strange and bad vibes. I had a bad feeling so I asked if he knew my address, and when he read it to me, it was the wrong location. So I corrected him and nervously awaited a seemingly incompetent plumber. Then, half an hour later, he called to say he was here and continued to read me the wrong address again. I told him not to bother coming. I had wasted hours waiting for him and couldn't wait any longer.

I rescheduled my whole day TWICE to meet with them and was incredibly frustrated. Called a different service who came out no problem and fixed it for much cheaper anyway. Do not recommend.

Very impressed with this company. Our hot water heater stop working. Called in the morning to set an appointment. We had a brand new unit professionally installed by the afternoon. Great job!

I was very pleased with Paws' service, the crew showed up on time and even though the job was more complex and they had quoted they completed the work on budget and very patiently stayed working overtime until it was done. The next morning I got a follow up call, which was great. Also we had a small leak after the installation and they sent a person out to fix it promptly. All in all I have to say they met or exceeded all of my expectations and I will be happy to use them again for my plumbing needs.

I can honestly say without hesitation that I would fully recommend PAWS plumbing.  Called PAWS for a quote and they had shovels to the ground within 45 minutes of me agreeing to the repair.  Mike and Taylor did a awesome job in digging a almost 4 1/2 foot hole to find the problem and repair it so it will never happen again.   They arrived in a very clean work van with all the tools organized and clean.   Very professional and answered any questions that I had.  Job could not of gone more smoothly.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Paws Plumbing was a wonderful find!  After calling several big name companies without a satisfactory response, I did a search and discovered this local, family owned company, and WOW!!  Robert bent over backwards to accommodate us. We had a tight window in which we needed the job done- within a half hour he was able to find an opening that was perfect. The guys notified us when they were on the way and they arrived at the early end of the timeframe given. Michael and Taylor were professional, courteous, and considerate, wearing masks for their safety as well as ours. They did the job without delay and it was done quickly but with attention to detail. In contrast to an unnamed, popular big company (starts with A), there was no service fee just for showing up, and the cost of the job was extremely reasonable. They are honest, efficient, pleasant, and really seemed to know their stuff. They educated us on potential issues that often come up with homes of this vintage but didn't try to upsell extra services. My husband and I are very happy with them, and will recommend them to everyone we know and will also recommend that our HOA place them on the preferred vendor list for the neighborhood. Just look for the dog on the side of their trucks!!

Had such a great experience with Paws and Kell. I had a leaky sink valve and had to leave work early to meet a plumber from another company and he cancelled at the last minute. I called Paws and they had Kell out to fix my valve in 20 min! He was quick and professional and the pricing was exactly what I expected to pay. I would definitely use them again.

We are happy to have chosen Paws Plumbing because competent Eric came to install a water softener replacement which proved to be more complex and time-consuming the anticipated. He, nevertheless, maintained his friendly and informative manner. After the long instillation de disposed of the old unit and packaging of the new water softener. The cost was competitive (but more than I expected), but Eric earned every penny (dollar) of the payment to Paws Plumbing. Yes, I would use and recommend Paws Plumbing again.

I called PAWS Plumbing just yesterday regarding a leak under my kitchen sink.  They gave me an immediate appointment at 8 am the next morning.  The plumber (Eric Myatt) arrived promptly and was wearing a mask and shoe covers.  He was exceptionally polite and professional in his work.  He found the problem within 10 minutes and made a special trip to get a valve (not a common valve) for the water line.  Apparently, there were 3 different valves on the line.  He was efficient and very neat.
He even started to wipe the bottom of the kitchen cabinet with a cloth after the work was completed.  This was a great first experience with this company.

I was having issues with a leak in my garage drain.  Will responded to my inquiry right away and a technician was sent the next day.  Eric did an excellent diagnosing the issue.  He took his time to troubleshoot the leak and determined - at one point, there may have been a blockage with the mainline and when he checked it, the water was flowing properly and there was no blockage.  I appreciated his honest diagnosis and will definitely call Paws Plumbing first.  Thank you!

We were having issues with our hot water/pressure. Reached out to them, gave them our availability and they came knocking exactly at the time given (they even texted us 30 mins prior to arrival!).  Kel R. Came and diagnosed the issue and solved our problem promptly. He respected our home by putting on shoe covers each time he came in and out (yes, I noticed haha). Gave us great recommendations. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

Using their 100' long camera located roots in my commercial buildings clogged main drain.  Pulled out the camera, sent in an auger to cut off the roots.  Sent the camera back to inspect pipe for any corrosion or damage.  Pipe was in good shape.  Dropped in foaming root kill to prevent roots from returning for 1 year.  
Beats digging up the street for between $10,000 to $15,000.
I will have them out again next year to drop in more foaming root kill to maintain drain.  Simple.
Swiped my credit card and they were off.  Emailed me a receipt next day.

Had a shower clog that was caused by old, rusted out cast iron pipes. The cause of the clog was ~25ft away from the shower drain itself and Zaby & Robbie were able to assist in cutting away stucco, replacing the deteriorated Y and getting the shower back to fully functional. Very satisfied with Kel's work. He's very polite and very thorough. He explained to me the issues and was able to answer all my questions in a very professional and courteous manner. I called PAWS Plumbing and Greg came out to our house to give us an estimate. We were super pleased with him. He was kind, professional, and patient as we looked at different options for our job. Ultimately we didn't go with him only because we found someone who could give us a better price for our complicated project (the other guy was the only one to suggest digging one one hole instead of two, saving us hundreds of dollars, so we went with him instead), but I did want to write a great review for Greg because he spent so much time explaining what the situation was, and he was communicative and professional. If the other guy hadn't been so much less expensive, I would have been happy to go with PAWS. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for another project.

We contracted Paws Plumbing to do a gas repipe with the recommendation from another plumbing company.  They were wonderful to work with.  From scheduling w/ Hailey at the office (who gave me her number to work over the weekend) to Keith and Michael who came out and performed the task in a timely manner.  Throughout the job they keep an open communication channel and presented different solutions as they encountered issues.  Also while they were on site, they threw in a couple of small tasks for free.

Great service. I bought new faucets to install in my bathroom. Immediately I got a response from Paws plumbing. They sent a plumber out by 9:30 same day. His name was Zabdiel. So nice and Very knowledgeable. Gave me a reasonable quote.  Zabdiel found old hookups under my sink and suggested they be repaired so fixture wouldn't leak in the future. I was happy he saw that. Price was still reasonable. Now my faucet is in and a first rate job it is. I'm so happy with Paws Plumbing and Zabdiel, I'll definitely recommend them.

I am thankful for Paw Plumbing.  Jacob went above and beyond and fixed our mystery leak yesterday.  I had 3 different plumbers came out before him, and no one could find out why it was leaking since all the pipe were dry.  Jacob interviewed my tenants and found out it was because user error, not due to a pipe leak.  I only paid $75 and it's fixed!!  Paid much more for the other plumbers just to show up!  Thank you Jacob and we will definitely continue to use them and will recommend them to friends.

The people at Paws are great! When my grandparent's house was experiencing back-up problems in their tub paws came out and let us know exactly what was wrong with the system. Robert was great at explaining exactly what the problem was and what it would take to get the job done. The man behind the phones Will was also very helpful.He got a plumber to the house quickly with a time that fit right into our schedule.

Just worked with Ivan and Donny from J Geyer Plumbing last week. They were very professional and responsive.  I also appreciated the explanation of what what happened and how it was fixed.  Thank you both for all your hard work - we now have hot water :-)

I had the best experience with Paw Plumbing.  They really took the time to understand my needs and come up with a piping solution that worked.  The two plumbers, Jeff and Jacob, we're knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and their work was outstanding.  They were on time, finished in the time committed, and cleaned up afterwards.  I am extremely satisfied and will likely use them in the future!

The employees who came out to my condo (#306) today were polite, professional and friendly.  The worked efficiently as a team and were sure to clean up after they were done.  I asked questions about the work they were doing and they provided answers and information.

We had a gas leak at our water heater and Paws Plumbing was by far the superior plumber after we had 4 plumbers inspect our property and provide price quotes. Paws were significantly less expensive than other services (by 50%-100%). Will, the customer service rep was extremely nice and responsive. Michael was a prompt and helpful technician. We were able to schedule our service promptly which was very helpful. We will be using Paws from now on!
