I was having some problems with my old water heater. Olson's Plumbing responded within a couple of hours and replaced the water heater the same day. I was very impressed by their workmanship and professionalism. I highly recommend Olson's Plumbing.

This is my first home and have had a few plumbing issues, I thought having the home warrenty would cover me but I was wrong. After one of their plumbers came out and told me my plumbing is destroyed by tree roots and the warrenty isn't going to cover the damage I called Olson's plumbing. Paul came over within an hour and cleared my lines in 10 minutes! A couple weeks later I had another problem with my kitchen sink backing up. I called on a Saturday and he told me he had a big job he had to finish and would come over as soon as he was done. He kept me informed all day and came over at 830 that night tired and dirty and cleared the line in a couple of minutes. He told me he should have cleared that line the last time he was here but didn't want to charge me for clearing two lines so he didn't charge me for this visit! Super nice, professional guy. I will be recommending him to everyone I know.

Don't even bother calling anyone else for drain cleaning, just use Paul. Our kitchen sinks would back up at times when the washing machine would drain. Paul cleared the kitchen clean out and even snaked the kitchen sinks as well. He arrived when he said he would, did a tremendous job, was super nice and made sure the job was done right before he left. His pricing is reasonable and fair. A true professional.

We had a slow drain from laundry drain in garage and common drain with kitchen sink. met with one yelp five star firm, quoted $189 on the phone to snake the drain but at home they said they charge $229 for this service and recommend a $450 hydro jet upgrade. i sent them away. Then I called OLSON. Fair price, had to wait a few days for appointment time. Their man arrived on time, was cheerful, professional, helpful. Highly recommend.

My shower drain was clogged. I cleaned out some of the hair that was clogging up the drain by using one of those drain hair cleaning tools. The drain was still plugged. So I tried Drano Gel. That worked a little bit. I then tried Green Gobbler. That also worked somewhat, but the drain was still plugged.
Next up was Olsen plumbing. I called late Thursday for a Friday appointment. They showed up on time and Alejandro was able to snake the drain and clear out the plug in around 30 minutes. Great service!

There are not a lot of companies anymore where you can seal a deal with a handshake and trust the work will be done correctly and as agreed upon. Thankfully Olson Plumbing is a throwback to when customer service mattered and people took pride in the job being done right.

With the sewer and drain lines starting to go in my neighborhood, and my cast iron pipes visibly rusting away, I had Olsen come out for an inspection and the inevitable big job of coating/relining. I couldn't have been happier I went with them.

They have the gear and equipment - along with their sister company Beach Plumbing - to do the job without subcontracting, so you know who is doing the work. And with their decades of experience, they know how to do it right. (Unlike another company who gave me a widly overpriced quote for a much more destructive option.)

Most importantly, they work till the job is done right. There is never anything easy or standard about my old house, and despite some unexpected challenges and the work being more than anticipated, they took the extra time to make sure it was correct and will last.

I could go on longer about more positives like how friendly the plumbers were and how they answered all my questions - thanks Fabian and Alex - but this review is already so long. So, if you are still reading this call them for a qoute and maybe this will be the last time you ever have to search reviews for plumbers ever again.

Had a problem with my kitchen drain and bathroom drain - big concern for me was the age of the pipes. My house was built in 1960 and still has cast iron and I didn't want any damage. Marco came out, and we discussed the possible problems. He never tried to sell me anything I didn't need - we agreed to clear one drain at a time to see if that would work. Marco did a great job at a fair price. He cleaned up the sink after the job too. Highly recommend Marco from Olson's plumbing!

We were absolutely blessed to find Paul Olson with Olson's plumbing!!! We were originally quoted $2,200.00 to repair a broken kitchen sink drain by another plumber. He had told us it would require digging a 12 ft. trench across the kitchen and also meant replacing the entire tile of the kitchen at a huge additional expense. Paul was able to repair the existing drain without any trenching, at the cost of $875.00. Along with being a very friendly guy he was most outstanding in terms of his customer service. He returned calls immediately and made room for that appointment that same day! He also had a very friendly helper on staff by the name of Jonathan. We couldn't be happier with him as our new plumber and would highly recommend him to all. He was an absolute answer to prayers.

I've been putting off a water hammer problem for about a year. Many handymen wanted to open up walls or tile. Olson's plumbing diagnosed it (shower cartridge) via telephone and next day Marco was on site to fix. Reasonable price, great customer service and problem was gone in under an hour. I am a landlord managing a 3 unit property. Last Sunday, my sewer backed up. This was bad news, as I know it is tough to find a plumber on a Sunday. I tried one plumber and he spent the WHOLE AFTERNOON trying to clear the sewer. After 3 hours he told me it was hopeless and that my sewer line was unclearable without a very expensive treatment. Problem was, he couldn't come back until the next morning to finish, meaning I would have to offer to put all my tenants into hotels for the night, since there was no plumbing. Desperate, with the sun going down, I tried to get a second opinion. Fortunately, I happened to call Olsen Plumbing. I told them what was going on, and they assured me that not only could they come out right away, but that the problem would be cleared within an hour. After seeing how the first plumber struggle all afternoon, i was doubtful. But I decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did. After being there fifteen minutes, I was staring at a huge chunk of root that had been expertly removed from my pipe. Service had been restored to my units, saving me and my tenants a lot of hassle and expense. This company is definitely my go to for plumbing. They have the know how to do it right.

I have had them back since then for more work and I can say that Alex provided prompt, courteous and efficient service. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a call!

Kitchen sinks suddenly were clogged and wouldn't drain. Found Olson's on Yelp with 5 star reviews and gave them a call. I called at 1pm and they made room in their day to fit us in. I was given a 2 hr window and on schedule Marco and Alex came. They both wore masks and were professional, efficient and very friendly. Snaked the drains and cleaned up.
They are now in our books as our new plumber!

Marcos and his boss Richard were vastly more knowledgeable than the other rooter company who came out earlier that day. The other company quoted $4500 to tear up our kitchen floor and replace a pipe that was not broken. Olson's plumbing is awesome! They walked me through what we saw during the entire camera inspection and explained what did or did not need attention. Thanks again guys.

Based on Yelp reviews I called Olson's and I'm so glad I did! I would highly recommend Paul & his apprentice Marco for all your plumbing needs! I was having trouble with my washer leaking & the washer guy came, turns out it was probably the drain. My kitchen sink drain can also be troublesome so made an appointment with Olson's!
Well, the washer was easy peasy, however the kitchen drain turned out to be a mess & a puzzle! Their 1st attempt at snaking, then another & after trying a 3rd time Paul said they'd have to come back and check behind the wall because the pipes were probably not aligned. Well, they came back & found some jerry-rigging behind the wall! Puzzles solved! The guys did a fantastic job & were a pleasure to work with! Left the kitchen very clean afterwards too! Nice work Paul & Marco & thanks again!!

Richard is a very straight forward plumber. He had quoted me to come out to snake/check out my drain line, and noticed that I needed to fix all my pipes. We highly recommend Olson's plumbing! They arrived on schedule and Marco looked at our plumbing problem and it turned out to be a grout issue! He recommended a tile repair contractor and did not charge us for the visit. If I could give Alex and Marcos 100 stars I would gladly do so. I had a clogged bathtub drain. I called 3 plumbers before I found Olson Plumbing. They all gave me different diagnoses and different solutions ranging from $2000 to $10,000. The pipe gave Alex and Marcos a hard time but they were able to get the wad of grease out after an hour. I'm so glad I found them. I offered to give them a big tip but they declined and were just happy they can help me. They will be my plumbers for life!

Richard Olson & Marco just cleaned out two lateral lines that had been running very slowly for years. These lines were from kitchen sink & laundry tub in garage. They also ran a sewer camera down each line to identify where problem existed. They have all the top-notch equipment and tools. They were both extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They took care of our problem in a reasonable amount of time, and the price of the job was fair & competitively priced. I really liked these guys positive and upbeat attitudes. I received a call from my renter at 9A that they had water potentially leaking from the master toilet. I decided to contact a local business close to my property in HB and immediately found Olson's on Yelp with amazing ratings and was able to get a same day appt btwn 2P-4P. Marco called me at 1130A and said he was able to come over at 1145A.

Given that I was not at the property, it's always stressful to deal with problems, especially one where you're imagining your home with hardwood floors, flooding!

Feedback from my renter was that Marco arrived with a mask, introduced himself, listened to what had occurred and got to work troubleshooting the issue. Marco called and informed me what he had assessed, recommended a valve replacement, and confirmed approval from me before starting work. A few minutes later he called back with a couple additional items he thought needed a look and went to work.

When finished with the repairs, Marco sent me before and after photos, called to talk through what he fixed (snake shower, rebuilt toilet tank, & valve replacement), sent me an invoice and took my payment over the phone.

I can't say enough about the quick response by the company, Marco's early arrival and professionalism throughout the call and his visit to my home. I would absolutely recommend this company and will plan to use them again should I need more plumbing repairs.

We had a main line sewer backup at 10PM and I called Olson plumbing early the next day. Richard took the time to listen and lay out what needed to be done along with the costs and how long it would take. They showed up quickly, the quality of their work was outstanding and they charged exactly what he quoted. To top it all off, they had an amazing light and pleasant attitude even though the work involved digging a 5 foot deep trench by hand. I moved into my new house and on the first night found out the pipe under the sink was completely corroded. I called Olson's plumbing that day and they came out Monday. Old man Olson himself came out to fix the pipe. Other companies were quoting me triple what he quoted and he fixed it within 30 minutes without having to make a hole in the dry wall. In general I don't give reviews, but I felt compelled to give a review after my service with Olson's plumbing. My husband and I just purchased our house, an older house too I might add, so we're completely new to home ownership maintenance, renovations, and all else it entails. We had our first major kitchen sink clog. We did some research and attempted to remove the p-trap and snake the top part of the drain ourselves to no avail. We quickly realized the job was bigger than our small skill level when we saw the p-trap pipes were so old and corroded there was no thread left. We needed to get the pipe out of the wall and remove the clog, we didn't have the tools. Here's where Olson's plumbing comes in. I saw they were local and I called and explained the problem. To their credit they came out quickly and assessed the problem, and gave me an estimate to replace the visible old pipes under the sink and clear the clog. I accepted the quote and they got started. Work was going great, the pipes were replaced and they began to set up to clear the clog, and they got out the snake machine. I was never forewarned about any potential harm to the pipes with using such a powerful machine. As I said earlier we have an older home with evidence of corroded pipes, information that we knew from out initial home inspection when we bought the house a month ago. After snaking the pipes for a few minutes Paul started to notice something was off. He sent Jason under the house to check out the pipes under the house. Jason reported back that there was a hole in our pipes under the sink and a lot of water. New homeowner here, I was terrified and probably obviously so. Paul went down under the house to check and came back with a similar report, there were several holes in the pipe and a large bowl of water under the house. I was shocked how could we not know? We just bought the house, had a full inspection and had never heard anything about water under the house. Then Paul got to work. He told me the water has been there for some time, the hole had been leaking so long there was a bowl of water below, I needed to fix the problem immediately with their services and replace all the pipes with holes in them, that somehow had not had holes in them previously. We received two quotes, one to do all the work and one to do a half job if we were concerned about money, but the need was immediate. Quite convenient that I, home alone, was supposed to make this decision immediately for a problem that had been occurring for 'years' what was another day going to do? Paul retracted his immediate action claim. We left the decision there that I would call back later after looking for other bids. So I made some phone calls, first to my uncle who helped us buy the house. There had been no holes in the pipes or water under the house, the pipes were brittle, that we had seen evidence of. Why did our plumber take such strong machinery and blindly with no camera into old pipes? Secondly, I called our home inspector and we reviewed the home inspection photos, there were no holes in the pipes, there was no standing water under the house. I should have been forewarned about the use of a snake on old pipes, a camera should have been used to see the blockade instead of just pushing through.

So now I have a new p-trap, a small fix and an even bigger problem. We will not be using Olson's plumbing again.

Our drain line from the kitchen and laundry started backing up into our sinks and washing machine and was overflowing onto the garage floor where the laundry is. I called Olson's Friday night and they shared some possible issues and solutions. Richard and Alex came out first thing Saturday morning to take a look. They were able to figure out that the drain line under the kitchen must have rotted so the previous owners had replaced and rerouted the line from the kitchen to go down the side of the house and connect with the main sewer line on the other side of the house. The previous owners then apparently poured about two tons of grease down the line over the years lol Alex was able to snake and clear out the line and get things back to working normally. Richard was also able to clear out a drain and get the water pressure back to normal on the sink in our garage. Overall likely a very small job for them, but one done well and effectively.

Guys were very professional, efficient, and friendly. They were also very direct about pricing for possible other fixes if snaking the line didn't work.

We'd definitely use them again in the future.

I called these guys based on the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed! We had a clogged kitchen sink and rather than my husband trying to unclog it himself a risk breaking something, we called a professional. It was a father son team, very experienced, very clean and professional wearing masks! Some roosters run a snake to punch a hole in the clog and take off, which means the clog will return soon. These guys ran the snake twice and went past the clog to the main to make sure it was wide open. I highly recommend these guys. We took their card for future reference.

Our kitchen sink pipe was full of grease and was causing our washer machine to leak water from the pipe in the garage. Richard was able to come out that same day I called for service and fix the issue at a reasonable price. I really appreciated Richard's efficiency and honesty. He also took a look at the bathtub drain in our kids bathroom. He told us to save our money, clean out the drain ourselves and told us what to do. I called Olson Plumbing at about 10 am on a Saturday, based only on the stellar Yelp reviews, for a plugged drain. I was given a window of 1pm to 3pm. Richard, the Patriarch of the company, showed up at 1:30. By 2:15 he had successfully rooted the drain all the way to the street. The overtime rate (weekend) was reasonable, and Richard was professional, as well as congenial. Olson will definitely be my go-to plumber for any future work. Thanks, Richard!

I suspected we had a water supply pipe leak & researched troubleshooting on the internet. When Richard called, he walked me through the process over the phone & confirmed my suspicions. He recommended a fantastic leak detection company & came while they were here locating leak. Even though they were SUPER busy, Richard & Alejandro came back a few hours later. The leak was approx 2-3 inches underneath driveway concrete. They dug out a tunnel & were able to repair it without breaking the concrete which would have cost more. Richard & Alejandro were upbeat, professional & fast. The price was great & same day service was truly appreciated. I highly recommend them.

Great experience today with Marco! Look no further for your plumbing needs. I called in the morning about replacing some faucets and fixing a toilet, and he stuck with the very fair quote he gave me over the phone, and showed up on time that same afternoon. I can now breathe a sigh of relief now that Paul and Brad from Olson's Plumbing opened up my drain that have been backing up off and on for a couple of months. The Roto Rooter supposedly opened the drain for $200 but alas, such was not the reality as I stepped out of my bed at midnight to discover that three rooms were flooded from a sink downstairs when we used the shower upstairs. Then the shower and the tub downstairs backed up. I exceedingly elated that I checked Yelp to find Olsen's Plumbing at the top of the list for good plumbers in Huntington Beach. I read all his reviews and I had no problem making my decision as to who to call for help with this ongoing mess at my house. I was exceedingly exasperated by the time Paul and Brad arrived at my home yesterday shortly after I called him at 8 a.m. He arrived at my house 30 minutes later. He used the snake but the line did not open.He informed me that the cost would be $175 for the snake but the drain was still clogged. He told me he would return today because he was running out of time. I was not charged for his time on that day. He told me he would have to use the Hydro Jet and maybe run the snake again. Just as General Douglas MacArthur stated during WWll, Paul did return and use the Hydro Jet at the cost of $375 and a 200 foot snake and the line finally opened after an hour and a half of work. Thank you, Paul and Brad, for the good job of opening my drains. I can once again flush the toilet, wash the clothes, run the dishwasher, and most all, take a warm shower. I highly recommend Paul Olsen, who has been a plumber for thirty seven years. i will definitely recommend him to all my friends. Merry Christmas Paul and Brad!!!

I cannot more sincerely recommend Paul/Alex and the team at Olsons when you need plumbing services. Woke up this morning to a completely plugged mainline. Called Olsons at 7:30 and Paul and Alex were on site within an hour. After doing a quick assessment they got to work. They were very careful about protecting surfaces during their work and despite it being a very tough clean out (65 Year old pipes that apparently has never been cleaned ) they stood by their fair quoted price got it knocked out in about 90 minutes. I am 100% satisfied and would certainly use them again for any plumbing needs.

Olson's Plumbing and Rooter saved the day for us today! We had been working with a different plumber for the past week (Olson Superior Plumbing, which I know this company gets confused for at times because of the similar names). Our initial plumber was repeatedly extending our job (fixing a laundry drainage issue), saying they needed to come back day after day to work on it, and adding incurring charges for us. Eventually, we were told we needed an $800+ hydro-jet procedure to fix a clogged pipe.

At this point, we called Olson's Plumbing and Rooter for a second opinion. Over the phone, they were immediately able to propose what they thought a solution would be and provided a specific quote. They were at our house in 30 minutes and the issue was completely solved after an hour. What was originally going to cost us nearly a grand with a different plumber cost us $165 with Olson's Plumbing. We found them very trustworthy and knowledgeable, and will be using them for continued plumbing work at our home.

I was having a leaky toilet issue so I decided instead of having it repaired I would have it replaced with a more efficient one. I did my research and purchased one to be delivered to the house instead of finding someone with a truck to help me pick it up myself. Once delivered, silly me did not open up the box to see if the toilet was broken or missing pieces. After researching and several estimates later, I decided to go with Olson's Plumbing. Made an early appt with them to replace my toilet and a bathroom faucet. They arrived and opened up the box with the toilet and found it was broken! So I had to make a decision of having Ron replace the toilet with one he recommended and could go get while his assistant replaced a one of the faucets, or I could reschedule for another time after the hassle of returning the broken toilet. I went with my first option. While Ron went for the new toilet, his assistant worked on replacing the faucet. When Ron came back, the faucet was installed, and half of the leaky toilet was already dismantled. Long story short, they replaced my toilet with one they recommended and I really like, they replaced an old bathroom sink faucet, they fixed my kitchen faucet that was very wobbly and all in 2 hours. I would recommend this family owned business all day long. Ron is prompt, professional, honest, knowledgeable in his profession, reasonable in price, friendly. His assistant worked hard and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely call Olson's Plumbing/Ron for any of my plumbing's needs. I have 2 more toilets that I will have Ron replace in the near future with his recommended toilets. I will NOT purchase any to be delivered to my house ever again...big mistake.. should have listened to my inner self!

Olson's Plumbing saved me at least $8,000.

I had a different plumber, Seashore Plumbing (who somehow has great reviews on yelp), come out prior to that and that company told me that I needed a new drain pipe because mine was broken- that means digging into the ground and ripping up my whole shower and redoing it. The bids I got were from $8,000-$15,000. I was so stressed out for 1.5 weeks because of Seashore Plumbing being wrong and just not willing to do the work required to do the job right. In my eyes, he would rather me have to pay him the plumbing part of a shower remodel to get more $ from me.

I cant afford a shower remodel, so I went to a new company, Paul at Olsen Plumbing, and he offered to come snake my drain for free to see if he could get it snaked for me so that I didn't have to get a whole new drain pipe and shower. He said he would only charge me to snake it if he got it to work. What a great guy. Literally made my day, possibly my year, and definitely my wallet feel A LOT better.

Paul at Olson just put the snake farther in the pipe than the other guy did (my house plumbing pipes twist in weird directions, so I need someone determined like Paul), and Paul got the drain snaked!!!!

I paid $165 total for the snake and a new drain cover, and I DONT have to redo my shower for $8k-$15k.

Olson's Plumbing is a life saver and I will only go to this company for plumbing as long as it exists and I live in the area. Thanks so much Paul!!

I had a leaky shower valve leaking from the flow control. Paul came out to give an estimate, I had my wife pickup the parts that he might need and then scheduled the repair. Paul arrived within his 1/2 window and began disassembling the valve. It was tricky because it is an unusual valve. Paul was diligent with finding out the correct way to remove parts without damaging them. He called and researched (YouTube) before discerning the best practice. I was encouraged by his dedication to excellence.
The repair took a bit longer to complete however Paul honored his quote/bid. This is an honest plumber and if he can save you money he will. God Bless him!

I needed to find a reputable plumber to take care of a few angle stops in my garage at my washing machine. Water heater failed on me Sunday night and when I called Monday morning Rich, Marco and Alex were at my house within 20 minutes to replace.

They had the 40 gallon skinny on hand and I had a new water heater installed and working within 2 hours of my call!!!

No missed showers, laundry or dishes getting cleaned with cold water...these guys are the best and very reasonably priced.

Been using them for all my plumbing needs for over 10 years and will never need to call anyone else.

I highly recommend Olson's Plumbing and, in fact, wish I could give more than 5 stars! Our water heater went out this morning, and our usual water, heating and air conditioning service told us it would be a week before they could come out. I found Olson's Plumbing on Yelp and called. They picked up immediately, asked me to text pictures and quickly diagnosed that we needed a new water heater. Within a few hours Richard, Marco and his son had installed the new water heater and we were back up with hot water. In addition to the quick turnaround, the customer service was great. If you need a plumber, this is the company to call. Paul, the owner, came and gave us an estimate and we scheduled to get the work done a couple days later. They came in to complete some drain and pipe work in the sink we had in the garage and some work in the house. The caliber of service that Mr. Olson and his crew provides is rare. Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable are few words that describe his company, but more applies.

As promised, my drain was cleaned from the roof, this was in spite of a cold, rainy day. His employee, a young man (maybe his son) was more than eager to haul the snake onto the roof. The desire and good heart to do a job well was refreshing. He, whose name I didn't get, is an asset to Mr. Olson.

As stated, it was raining the day of the service; Mr. Olson offered to put protective coverings on my floor to make certain an unnecessary mess did not occur.

Lastly, given the climate conditions, Mr. Olson could have charged beyond reason; his price was as quoted and more than fair.

WOW! The T joint in my laundry room broke off the main line 1hr before i was going to leave the house for work. This could have been a devastating disaster. Called Olson's Plumbing immediately (as i have had work done by them before), they sounded busy but arranged for someone to come out within 3hrs. Marco made an emergency trip to my house as he was in the middle of another job. He capped off the break so that i would have water running again and said he would be back the next day with the needed parts. He called, gave me an estimate arrival time of 11-12 and was there 11am sharp. 30 minutes later all new lines. Professionally, I am often asked to write a letter of recommendation for a collegue or a new young professional. But this time no request is necessary. I needed a plumber to come to my home in Huntington Beach to do the small job of adjusting the faucet handles on one bathroom faucet, installing a new faucet in another bathroom and repairing a continuing run of water in our pressure-flushed toilet. After arriving at the time he said he would, he reviewed all three projects, provided a fair price estimate and completed the job over the next 2 hours. I needed to replace a leaking kitchen faucet. Over the phone, George diagnosed the problem, telling me to go buy a replacement faucet. He would then have a worker come by within the hour to do the job. I did and he did also. Marco Polo arrived and finished the job within half an hour.

A plumber just came and unclogged my toilet where my toddler had flushed a toy cone in there and her brother didn't know and had did a number two into it. Another plumber from somewhere else had came before him and did nothing n only told us we would need a new toilet. This is probably the highest praise I could give a person, business owner, and contractor. I could write 5 paragraphs on how appreciative my wife (who is 4 months pregnant) and I were with Richard and the company to come out on short notice. They haven't even started work yet, but came out to troubleshoot a major issue with a gas line that was installed wrong by a previous contractor that remodeled our backyard, our fire pit and bbq are not getting gas. It's hard to find people, let alone company owners like Richard anymore. The company truly cares about helping you and your family. In the twenty one years at my current home I fortunately have not had to call a rooter service. This morning I woke up to a kitchen sink that was backing up and not draining like usual. We had to have Paul from Olson's Plumbing come out again 4 years later to clear our main line which happens to be accessed from the roof because we are on a slab foundation. We have a large avocado tree in our yard and the roots had grown into the line. His company usually gives a two hour window and he usually comes at the beginning at that timeframe. He joked that he cleaned our line out so far, he would have to charge our neighbor across the street. He has many decades of experience and I feel he is both fair and honest which is much appreciated.

Olson's Plumbing has been a God send for us. We have lived in our current house in Huntington Beach for eight years. We have used him for every plumbing problem with complete satisfaction. Olson's Plumbing has done everything from clearing out our sink after my wife put six cups of rice down the sink to replacing the gas line from the street to our house. In the case of the clogged drain due to the rice, he came over right after I got home from work and spent 20 min snaking the drain to be sure it was cleared out and wouldn't get clogged again once he left. When my wife suspected a natural gas leak (New Year's Eve), Olson's Plumbing came and worked on the gas line till late at night, even when it was raining, so my family could have hot water to bathe in. I can't say enough good things about them. He is extremely honest and I trust him thoroughly. If you have any plumbing problems do yourself a favor and call him first. You won't regret it.

I called at 10:30am about my slooooow draining tub. They showed up at 12:05 for their 12-2pm window. It took 30 seconds for them to discover the gasket on the drain plug had broken and I just needed to remove it and replace the rubber gasket so the water could flow properly. No charge! Amazing!

I had a clogged drain pipe between the laundry and the main line. Marcos had to snake the pipe three times before it would clear. Marcos did his job very wear. As described in Olson's plumbing AD. I had a plugged toilet, called Olson's at around 10 am and got a call back in less than 20 minutes. Marco Burciaga arrived at about 11am. He tried snaking the line which worked somewhat, but it looked like the toilet was shot too. Marco fixed me up with a brand new toilet and by 1pm it was all taken care of. Had to have our main sewer line replaced. They ended up having to dig it up because it had been installed incorrectly years ago and the slope was all off. While they were at it, they ended up putting liners in the rest of our line that they didn't dig up (those were starting to have structural problems as well).
Richard and his team were awesome. They made sure it impacted us as little as possible. They are the only plumbers we use. Highly recommended!

5 stars for fast response time! I know not much about pluming, just like everything else cars, dentist etc. You just kinda have to trust the expert and go with your instincts. Marco, obviously was the expert in this case- he came and cleaned out the kitchen sink drain and inspected a few other pipes to see the problem(s). He mentioned a few future recommendations here and there, along with their 30 days warranty. Nothing more, and nothing less obviously we got away with a decent price of $165 for the clean out, and we're hoping NOT to see them for a long time ahhha in a good way Of course!! Alex and team from Olson's came out and quickly diagnosed 2 clogged drains and one toilet that wouldn't flush. While other plumbers had recommended expensive repairs, they got to the root of the issues easily and cost effectively. And even cleared a tough clog that required some skill and time to clear. Call these guys if you want honest plumbers! These guys were referred to us from a friend who said they were great to work with. We agree!
Our shower from the 70s decided to stop working. House definitely needs a remodeling but we're not in the financial position to complete this. Marco was friendly and patient, explaining all of our options. We appreciate his honestly and the fact that he didn't try to push us for the most expensive option - to re-pipe and change everything.
The shower mixet was an old and tricky version so Paul came to share his years of experience and be on hand incase of any problems. It was like an extra person for the price of 1.
The work was easier than expected (thank goodness) so they offered us a discount from the original quote without us even asking.
You can feel confident knowing they aren't trying to over charge you for the work. We will definitely use them again.

We have been having terrible plumbing problems for years due to old drain pipes rusting. Every drain backed up so called on the weekend and Paul sent Marco out first thing Monday morning to clean out our main line.

Last Sunday while preparing dinner, our double kitchen sink backed up on both sides with dirty water and garbage! I looked for a plumber on Yelp and found Olson's Plumbing was rated 5 stars and was close by. I almost didn't call because his hours said closed on Sunday. Took a chance anyway and Paul answered my distress call. He said he could be here between 8 and 9 a.m. the next morning. Sure enough, he showed up as promised at 8:30 a.m.

He went right to work and knew immediately what the problem was and snaked out the drain. He was polite, efficient, and the dogs even liked him! The price was fair and he even cleaned up the mess afterward! I highly recommend him and would definitely call again the next time I have a plumbing problem!

Returned promptly after notifying of a leak, but was then easily fixed by the customer with teflon tape
Honest discussion about mickey mouse angled piping that should work fine. This part did not happen to be an issue.
Prompt discussion after review with owner to resolve the discrepancy described below.

CONS:-
Notified servicer of recent replacement of under sink piping which could possibly need work; informed that replacing that part could be an added cost which was somewhat ok, but at the end of the day, there was still a leak from the drain attached to the sink. This could have been caught before leaving the site.
Marco came back free of charge to tighten the drain stopper, but this did not resolve the issue.
Leak fixed by customer using simple teflon tape, but was quoted an additional $225 to replace drain stopper to resolve the issue.

Paul of Olson Plumbing replaced the valves in my Toto toilets that were leaking and squealing at odd hours of the night, waking me up, and also causing a higher water bill due to the leaking of water. It is good to know there are still honest, reliable, dependable plumbers in the world.

This story starts out with my elderly parents. There was a blockage in their laundry room sewer line that caused parts of their house to be flooded. Not being internet savvy, they turned to the phone book to find a plumber. Long story short this particular plumbing company, whose name shall remain unmentioned for now, sends a supervisor out to stick a camera down the drain. They determined that there was a blockage and that the only way to fix it would be to tear up the foundation and rebuild the pipe. The estimated quote for the entire procedure was $9000.

My parents, who were under duress, signed a contract with this fraudulent company.

Luckily I arrived shortly after this company began working on my parent's house. I sent the workers home and said I wanted to get a second opinion. That is when I gave Mr. Olson a call. Once Olson found out what happened, he interrupted his work schedule and immediately came over to have a look. Within ten minutes he had the line open and clear at a mere cost of $85.

Olson Plumbing and Rooter saved my family over $8,900.

It is a shame that companies take advantage of elderly people who are in stressful situations. Luckily, Olson Plumbing is not one of those companies. Instead they are reliable, trustworthy, prompt, and caring.

I highly recommend giving them a call if you ever have plumbing issues in the south LA county and North Orange County area.

I had a leaking upstairs shower that was swamping my downstairs kitchen just days before Christmas. I contacted Olson's and Paul was able to squeeze me in at the end of his day. When he and Marco came out, they patiently showed me how to replace the valve stems and all appeared to be well. Two days later a second area of the kitchen ceiling began leaking and once again Paul was quick to respond and schedule a visit for the following morning (a Saturday). This time I got a very patient and fun lesson from Paul and Marco showing me exactly how to replace the shower arm. No more leaks from anywhere! They were both a lot of fun to work with as well as extremely informative so I learn something in the process. I absolutely love any education I can get from a pro and they turned the process of fixing a stressful problem into a whole lot of fun. When was the last time you had fun getting your plumbing repaired? I know that's maybe not top of most people's list when looking for any sort of repair. But, truthfully, I'll take a fun learning experience that also fixes the problem at a very competitive rate any day over a grumpy plumber who half-asses the job (while showing his half-ass crack to boot) at an exorbitant rate (I'm looking at you, Roto Rooter). I'm happy to have a new plumber because this old building is going to be in need of more work in the near future. Thank you, Paul and Marco. You guys were amazing!

These folks are great. I called them at 7:30am with a plumbing issue. They were out within an hour and fixed the shower, two toilets and offered to clear up a slow drain. I called Olson's Plumbing at around 7:45 am and Marco answered. I told him we had a stopped up toilet in the master bath. He told me up front the cost would be $165 but if the clog was connected to the shower it might be more, so I was happy he let me know this. He told me he could be at my house between 10:00-12:00 and he showed up at 11:45 with a big smile on his face and was very professional. He fixed the toilet within 10 minutes. We found Olsen's Plumbing on Yelp and could not be happier with the service we received and the quality of workmanship to correct the clog in our drain. Paul was right on time for his initial inspection and called me to let me know he was running a little late when he was returning to perform the remedial work the following day, which in itself is unusual but reassuring when you are waiting and wondering if you will ever see them again.

Richard and his team were amazing. He came over on a Sunday morning in December because we woke up to water in our downstairs hallway. He then called another person (not employed by him) to verify what he thought the problem was. We ended up needing a full repipe of our house, and as painful as that was, I'm so grateful that we had such honest and hardworking people to complete it for us. The repipe was scheduled for later in the week as that's when they had availability, and, true to his word, it was complete in one day. All the patchwork complete within one more day. I have been battling sewer line problems since before Christmas. It ran slower and slower and for the past week or more it was completely clogged. Four attempts to clear it by three different plumbers and finally Paul Olsen with Olsen Plumbing was able to clear it after several hours of tenacious effort. He never gave up. He remained determined and kept his sense of humor.

The experience was great from beginning to end. Paul showed up on time, kept me up to date with what he was doing and assured me every step of the way that he was determined to clear my issue. Paul said it was probably one of the most difficult main lines he has ever encountered (I didn't have a clean out) yet his rates were much lower than expected. Unlike the other plumbers, he did not try to sell me something expensive that I could not afford.

NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME!!!

I had a backed up kitchen sink and originally I called in one of those we snake any drain for blah blah blah. Well after giving me a whole song and dance about snaking 75ft and found nothing so it must be something more major, nothing ever got fixed. They were making it out to be something that was going to cost big dollars. So, frustrated that nothing had been done I called Paul and he was able to come after I got home from work which was a huge plus. Once he got there he accessed the issue and within 30 min, I had an unclogged sink. Paul was a really nice guy and took the time to explain to me what was going on and that the pipe head never actually been snaked (even though the other guy said he did) and had fair prices. I will be calling Paul for any future plumbing issues, that's for sure and I would recommend him to all my friends as well.

I cannot say enough about this company. I had a toilet that wasn't flushing and called the OTHER Olson plumbing company - Olson's Superior Plumbing - BIG MISTAKE. They came out and they fixed my toilet alright (for over $1600) - because they said the line needed to be hydro jetted to clear it AND that I needed a portion of the sewer line in my house replaced.
Olson Superior promised to put together an estimate to replace the line- but when I didn't hear back from them after a couple of phone calls I knew something was up. THAT'S when I called Olson's Plumbing and Rooter. They came out the next day and put a camera down the line and pointed out EVERYTHING was fine with the line and that no additional work was needed - and did this for $150 dollars LESS than what Olson's Superior charged. In addition, Marco did a beautiful job of caulking the base of the toilet - which the other company didn't even ask if I wanted in addition to leaving with the screw caps for the toilet!!
Oh, and I had to provide the towels for them to use - which they took with them!!
There was absolutely NO INCENTIVE for Olson's Plumbing and Rooter to tell me no work was needed - they easily could have confirmed that it was needed and I'd have hired them - but they didn't - because they have INTEGRITY.
So, if you are trying to figure out what plumbing company to hire - look no further!!!!

THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING!! Last night we discovered a major leak on our exterior irrigation pipe where our emergency shut off valve was connected. We tried shutting it down but the leak would get worse. Water shooting out everywhere. I sent a message to Olson's Plumbing and Rooter since they had great Yelp reviews. I got a response first thing in the morning and they were at my house less than a couple hours later. Richard and his apprentice showed up and they were absolutely wonderful. Richard is so personable, very knowledgeable, and they gave me a great price as well. They had everything fullly replaced and i was good to go in less than 3 hours. So Olson(s) did not come out to our house but saved me as much as $3000.
We had a sewer smell backing up into our house. Called Best Service whose web site says $49 draining cleaning and complimentary video camera inspection. I would have paid them to clean from the house sewer access to the street, but they wanted to sell me a whole house hydro clean of all our drain pipes, for $3000. Since I was expecting to pay $49 plus a service call fee, I said no thanks for now, I need to research this to see if a hyro clean would really solve the problem and if $3000 is a reasonable price.
I called Olsons, I told them the problem and that the strongest odor is from a bathroom shower we never use (as I was talking we was asking if we use the bathroom where the odor is strongest). He told me just run the shower a bit, and that the trap needs water in it to work and keep sewer gases from backing up. So I did that, and problem solved.
Have Olsons page book marked and will use them next time I needs a plumber or if the smell comes back.

I've worked with Olson Plumbing in 3 occasions and every time it has been prompt, reasonable, and solve some issues I've had other plumbers looked into before. I always get at least another bid and Paul always come through at a better price and excellent work. The recent incident was a leaking hot water heater (way over 10 years old), water all over the garage floor on a Saturday mid - afternoon. I called Olson Plumbing right away. Paul and Brad showed up inside an hour, ran out to get a replacement and installed by the end of the day. I was so thrilled that I was never out of hot water. Additionally, I just spoke to another plumbing company a week before about the sewer line since both neighbors on each side of me had major problems. I was looking into preventative measures but instead was quoted a need for full replacement at a very,very,very high price. Paul ran a camera and saw the same things but indicated that there is no need for a sewer replacement so he cleaned out the sewer line and provided me a copy of the DVD. Thank you so much!

So glad I called this company. Marco came out to assist with what we thought was a slab leak. He was able to determine the issue was much less severe that what we had prepared ourselves for. Come to find out, our water line to the fridge was leaking, went under a wall to the hallway floor where we noticed it. I would give this plumber more stars if it was allowed, Paul was absolutely the best !!! He gave me an estimate and because of my older home and unforeseen problems with the job it took him longer than anticipated, yet charged me the quoted price. I have used Olson's on many occasions over many years. I have moved out of state and my renters learned that there is likely a leak. Richard was able to come on a day that was convenient for my renters. He showed up on time and called to let me know that he talked to my husband and they determined that the fix was something my husband could handle and he did not charge us anything for his time or advice. I had a problem with our bathroom toilet backing up and one of our sinks was not working. I called a few local plumbers who seemed knowledgeable. I had quotes all over the board. . . just to unclog my toilet. After calling and talking with Olson's Plumbing, I knew that these guys could solve my problem. I spoke directly to Paul, the owner who was able to help diagnose my problem over the phone. Paul gave me a quote over the phone and came out within the hour! I was amazed at his quick response, his professionalism. He did a fantastic job! He came in and solved all our problems. Olson's Plumbing is awesome! Our bathroom drains were running really slow and our shower had standing water. I tried for hours to unclog the drains myself, but was unsuccessful. To make matters worse, the wax seal on our toilet broke due to the clog that was blocking our drains. Marco came out and had all of our issues resolved in less than two hours! We had roots in our drain pipe and he was able to clear them out and get our drains back in working order and the quoted price was spot on!

We had called Dial One Sonshine but they showed up unable to do the job that day (as well as wanting to charge over $400) so we called Olson's Plumbing and Rooter and they were able to come within a few hours and unclog our sink. Rich Oson is the best of the best! I live in an older apt. in downtown HB, and as you can imagine, we have some regular plumbing problems. I have asked the landlord and the apartment manager to please have my shower drain looked at since I moved in (about 2 years). They did the usual OTC cheap quick fixes that only lasted temporarily. My downstairs neighbor had a major issue that needed remodeling so a real plumber came out and then he looked at my shower. Well, it improved about 80% for about a week. And then, YESSSSS! I met Rich. Sure enough, he was able to find the problem: a feminine product stuck deep in the drain... Sick!! Nevertheless, my shower drains perfectly now!!! Thanks Rich and your team!!! Oh, and he fixed my disposal too!!!
No need to look elsewhere if you need a plumber.

We needed a plumber to show up because the piping for our kitchen sink had stopped up again. We gave Olson's Plumbing and Rooter a call. They were able to come a couple days later and within the time they said they'd showed up. The job turned out to be a bigger job than they expected but did an excellent job getting the kitchen pipes cleaned out and it's working perfectly now. Marco was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. He shared feedback on the issue, and knew exactly what he was doing. No nonsense, no upsell, just got the job done efficiently. I paid exactly what I was told it would cost.
He took the time to show what he fixed, proved it was fixed, cleaned up, and comes with a warranty. My only regret is I didn't call them two days earlier instead of trying myself.

After that I feel that it became just a game of bad excuses and attempt to blame everyone else for the problem. Nothing like having no kitchen or bathroom for four days.

I had these guys come out two months ago and did a job using half-rate parts. (Almost as if it would guarantee them more business) They replaced the toilet tanks guts and handle. Then with a smile charged me $175. I was glad to have a working toilet again so I paid the steep price. I then went and researched how much the cost of the parts were and was shocked to find out that the parts they used were sub-par the standard and much cheaper than what I expected having paid what I did. Sure enough a part broke and our toilet was broken again a month later. We asked them to again come out to investigate the issue. This time they wanted to charge me the same $175 for the replacement of only two of the parts when I had requested a consultation on it. Before I knew the work was done and when I requested they put the old parts back telling them that I could buy the parts myself and have them installed I was met with an arrogant, No, we are gonna charge you the full price for service. After explaining that I could not pay the full price they gave me a small discount. So now I'd be paying $150 for parts and labor when in reality the same parts they use were about $20 at your local Home Depot. Cheap parts, rude rushed arrogant service. 1/5 stars.

We had been underwhelmed by the plumbers we had tried in the past. They either didn't return calls, didn't entirely fix the problem, and/or charged an excessive amount of money for their services.

The whole experience with Olson's, from the initial call to resolution of the issue, was exceptional. They had someone available in our area and he arrived at our home incredibly quickly.

Marco is amazing! He is personable, knowledgeable, and has a great work ethic. Best of all he is honest, which is not always easy to find these days. He explains the issues thoroughly, and the fees were not exorbitant.

I now know why they're one of the best plumbers around. Richard picked up my call on Sunday after I discovered a few issues with my new home. The toilet was making weird noises (and needed a replacement), my sink faucet was clogged (low pressure), and the inlet hoses were mixed on the washer (flipper/contractor plumbed incorrectly). Richard and Alex came out the next morning (Monday) and completed the work pretty quickly. Alex worked on replacing the toilet (he did a great job) and Richard checked out my kitchen sink faucet and washer inlet hoses. Richard's a very good guy, and told me not to worry covering the kitchen sink faucet and switching the inlet hoses. The total cost was reasonable and I'm glad I went with them.

Richard's retiring soon, but I'm definitely calling Olson's Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

I had a drain that simply would not. My shower, bathroom sink and toilet were just stopped up. Marco came out and worked for an hour to unplug it. He took copious amounts of hair out, and got the sink draining, but it was apparent that there was something else going on. Richard came out and confirmed I had a broken cast iron pipe. We scheduled a day for them to come and they jackhammered up the bathroom floor, replaced the pipe and re-cemented the foundation, all in one day. They were professional, extremely competent, and completed it all with a smile and reassurances along the way that it was all going to work out. Amazing group of professionals that I would hire again in a heartbeat!

I spent hours on Father's Day with a snake trying to clear a garage sink and washer line clogged with lint to little success. Marco arrived with an apprentice on time in the agreed time window. After a short discussion on what was already tried, they quickly used their professional power rooter to clean the pipe rather than just punching a small hole with a spiral top big box store router I was using. They ran the lateral line all the way to the main 4 inch pipe and the drain runs quick now. While they were here, also asked them about a toilet that was not fully flushing. They simply cleared the calcium clogged siphon jet with a tool and presto - a strong flush. The other 3 plumbers I had out before on various clogs could only suggest replacing the whole $400 toilet. If you own a mobile home, and having difficulty finding a plumber, Paul is the man. He and his apprentice did an excellent job for my friends place. Both bathrooms bathtub knobs were loose, and faucets were leaking in both tubs. Paul made first visit free of charge, and instructed my friend to buy the correct parts for the job. Once the parts were bought, he returned for the job. No more mold in the bathrooms because of continuous leaking of bathtubs. Mobile homes have different parts, than residential homes, and can require different tools also. Paul has the experience, and is the man, call him.

What's a guy to do on the weekend with guests coming over in four hours, a broken hose bib, and the house water shut off. Call Richard at Olson's Plumbing. I had a plumber who was suppose to install a drain in a bath tub. Took two trips and the drain leaked and tub did not drain. Was told he could not snake the drain, the plumbing needed to be replaced at a cost of $2,000 to $22,000. Would give a quote of cost as the project proceeded.
I called Olson's to arrange a time for an estimate. He asked to come over right away as they had just finished a job nearby. He and his apprentice fixed the leaking drain, no plumber's putty by first plumber, and snaked the tub drain for ****$225.00**** They were professional and polite. Mr. Olson is fast, efficient and honest. We had a plugged pipe that resulted in the washing machine leaking into the garage and then backing up water in the master bathroom shower. He responded immediately, arrived within 20 minutes and did an assessment complete with cost-estimate. Overall, a great service. We had some plumbing issues from our main sewer line and Marco came out very quickly to snake the pipes and clear them out. He was very helpful in trying to find the location of our drainage and removed quite a bit of material that was causing the blockage. I needed a hot water valve to my clothes washer replaced. The responded to my inquiry within 30 minutes. When they found out I needed it ASAP they arranged to come after hours same day.
They were clean, professional and courteous, and did the job for $175.00.

Paul is an amazing guy. My wife and I moved into a new home two years ago and about a year into owning our home we started to have plumbing issues. Frequent clogs of drain lines due to normal usage. This is all the while being careful what we flush down the lines as well. After having the lines snaked a few times and shop vacuuming dirty water out of my shower I was becoming increasingly frustrated. Being stupid and not knowing who to call I called Roto-Rooter to come inspect my lines. The tech said he would come out for free and run a camera. That should have been all I needed to know and a massive red flag. Well, the tech ran a camera and told me one of my cast iron drain lines was corroded at the Y fitting 50ft from our master bathroom where the line connects with our bathrooms. Being on a slab foundation as we are in HB I started to panic as I knew I was in for a big repair. I was quoted 15k, just to replace the fitting. The tech was a jerk about it and told me tough luck. He also said I needed a clean out in the front of the house for future snaking which was another 1.5k.

I knew I needed a second opinion so I hopped on yelp and looked for a owner/plumber ran business. As someone who's worked enough in trades I know a man who does his own work and stands behind his business is more trustworthy than a corporation. I failed to take this into account when I panicked and called the company listed above.

I called Paul and he came out same day and ran a camera for me. I told him what the other tech said and he laughed out loud. Telling me corroded that's what they all say, easing some of my fears. He also said, anyone willing to run a camera for free is out to scam people, which couldn't be more true. After running the camera he said my line was NOT corroded but just had some scale build up. He also trouble shot my issue and figured that my master bathroom toilet needed more flushing power. So, he ran to his truck and installed some parts in my toilet to have the water fill up higher to give it more flushing power. Guess what, almost a year later I have had NO issues do to this $60 fix.

Now, here is the real kicker. Remember that clean out the tech told me I needed as I didn't have one? I told Paul that. He looked at me and said what's on the other side of this wall behind the toilet. I told him a storage cabinet. He replied, in a lot of the older HB homes with this floorpan there is a clean out in the cabinet. Indeed there was a clean out in the cabinet hidden as it was dry walled over! So not only did Paul save me 15k. He saved me another 1.5k.

Paul is the plumber I refer to all my family members now as he is a plumber I trust. He's helped several of my friends with their plumbing issues and always does a great job. I have a water heater in need of replacing soon and I won't hesitate to call him when it's time and you should wait to call him either!

He called me back right away and I told him exactly what I needed and he said well can you send some pictures of your Fossett I said sure so I sent them and then I never heard back from him. I texted him again, and he just ignored me not sure because maybe the job is too small and he wasn't interested I find that very curious to be in business and not respond to a customer.

Do yourself a favor and contact Olson's plumbing for any of your plumbing needs.

I had an issue with a leaky valve stem that my home warranty company would not fix without me paying to open up the walls. I knew the fix was easier than that so I called Olson's plumbing. Marco came out the next day and started to work! He realized quickly that he did not have the parts I needed but told me to give him a week or so and he could find them. Sure enough, a week later, I received a call from Marco saying he found the parts and was going to come back with the owner of the company to make sure our problem was fixed and done right!

It has been just over a week since the problem was fixed by Marco and no issues. Marco was super reliable, honest, and willing to work until the issue was resolved. Olson's might be a tad more expensive than other plumbers but the old adage of you get what you pay for has never been more true.

If you want quality work and a plumber that will work for you until your issues are resolved, call Olson's plumbing!

On Day 1, Olson Plumbing was professional and understood my urgency. Macro was our point of contact. He was very thorough when explaining everything that needed to be done to repair the leak that flooded our Master Bedroom. We needed a full repiping of our house. Marco surveyed my house on a Wednesday, the repiping was completed on Thursday, and patching work was completed on Friday. Marco brought in a a working crew who were respectful of our house and worked non-stop to get the repiping work done in a day.

If I could give more stars I would. I had repiping down on my home...not an easy job for both sides. It is traumatizing thinking of having it done, and living through it, I must say. That's the down side.
BUT...they take only 1DAY for the repipe (I have a 2 story, 3 bath house, two wet bars, laundry, etc...again..not a small job) and then the masters come in to repatch the holes the next day, and I cannot even see where the holes were! Seriously, that is artists at work! They take great care covering everything in their path through the whole job, and then they clean up when they are done.
The job is not inexpensive, but neither is replacing your floors when the pipes fail (and mine did twice before I got clever) Now I have peace of mind knowing I have PEX running through my walls instead of aging pipes.
Richard made sure he beat the competitions quotes, and I couldn't be happier I chose this company. Richard was always available when I had questions or concerns, his crew was amazing, and what is a tough thing to do was made much easier working with them. It is comforting to know that there are still people out there who are competent and take pride in their work, and are reassuring through the process.
So, long story short...plumbing needs? Hire Olsons! You will be happy you did!!

So we had to install new faucets in the bathroom and in the kitchen. We also had to have the water safely turned on for the water and ice maker for our refrigerator (it hadn't been turned on for years so the faucet was frozen and possible could break). Marco came out for the job and first of all, he is a very nice and approachable guy. He was very cautious and wanted to make sure none of our old plumbing would burst so he did everything very methodically and carefully. Our bathroom faucet and water stopper were kind of challenging but that didn't stop Marco from installing it correctly. And he always had mask on and even took off his shoes (very important to my wife).
Overall, I think we've found our go-to plumbers and I think we'll refer our friends and family. Thank you Olson's Plumbing!

Great experience from when I made the first contact with Richard. He responded quickly with a quote after reviewing a photo and my description of the problem shower valve leaky joint. He cautioned me that the quote may be revised if they see any other work needed.
He and his assistant Marco arrived on the day and within the time interval and quickly got to work. Both men were professional, personable and careful to do a good job. They were also agreeable to remove shoes upon entering the house and wore masks the entire time. After a couple of hours, they fixed the issue and charged a fair price. I had 2 back ups on the main line. They came in and cleaned the main line in both spots. He even fixed my flappers on my toilets. They were fast and very professional, no up sale. I had called the smell good plumbers before him and they wanted to charge me $2500 to $3500 and then they tried a hard sell on me. When that didn't work they tried to scare me. But I am glad I called Olson's plumbing. He stuck to over the phone quote and he explained it all. He has an apprentice with him and he explains everything to him as well. Hopefully I don't need them again but if I do I will call them!

My shower and toilet were backing up this morning. I called Olsens they came out that very day later in the afternoon They ran the machine through the pipes in my house and come to find out the drainage problem was from the sever from my house to the main sewer pipe. Given the problem instead of charging me $165 the only charge me 85 because I didn't have to do any work at my house. These guys were very responsive very professional and was able to determine the problem within a matter very short time. If anybody needs a good plumber I recommend Olsens because these guys do great work very fast and very efficient and most important very professional. Called Olson's plumbing for the second time, for a new issue and very happy we did.

Marco replaced our water heater back in April 2021 and has been working great.

This time it was for our kitchen sink, its been clogged for a few days and after trying Drano and our own snake we decided to bring in the pro's. Because it being between holidays, I was afraid they wouldn't come until after the new year. But we spoke to Marco yesterday (Wed) afternoon, explained the situation and he gave us a few tips to try on our own first. Once we did we decided to called him back and he said he'd be here between 10am and 12pm today. Marco and Alex showed up 10:00am sharp. And what seemed effortlessly, Alex got the job done. They were bought out by another company and their service went downhill so after an online search and looking at reviews, i called Olson's to repair a leaking toilet. While they were here, I had them look at another toilet that was making a loud whining noise when flushed. They repaired both quickly and with a smile. Marco and Richard replaced an upstairs bathtub waste, overflow & trap that was leaking into our garage. It was a tough job and what impressed me the most was their positivity. A few years ago I had a bathroom and laundry room redone upstairs at my house by a contractor who did some really crappy work. Recently, the bathroom upstairs starting raining water down to the living room below whenever the kids were running the shower. I had Paul come over to take a look and he quickly found the problem. The contractor actually used a plastic nipple for the connection between the valve and the shower head (can you believe it?). Paul took care of that and while he was there he looked over the other plumbing problems we were having from the same contractor. He gave me an estimate to take care of it all that day. I've had Paul over the house once before for a sewer problem and already trusted him. He was here with his helper most of the day and when it was all done he actually came in under his estimate. Who does that?

I was going to be just satisfied with getting the job done right, but for Paul to come in below his estimate after I was willing to pay the original amount has to be one of the best signs of an honest contractor that I have ever heard of.

Companies like this deserve our business and I know I'll keep using him.

Called Paul after seeing all the good reviews to get my lines snaked from two locations, one being the guest bathroom I was remodeling when I discovered the cast iron tees in the wall were corroded and clogged inside. I did the replacement work inside the wall but then still had a clog under the foundation that backed up into my newly installed pipes, and my lame beginners snake couldn't handle it. Paul and John were at my house in less than two hours and they tackled the job quickly and thoroughly, busting through whatever junk was down in there and flushing it out with the water on full. They were both friendly and easy to talk to and gave me some plumbing tips too. I can rest easy now and finish installing my bathroom vanity without worrying if the sink will drain and no concerns about the plumbing. I would definitely call Olson's Plumbing again if I ever need to.

We had an issue with our pool drains and had several plumbers come out to clear them and they all said that we would need to break the concrete and change the piping because it could not be hydro jetted because the pipes would break. If you want a good plumber. This is the guy. So I had a another plumber come out from my insurance company from Fix It All plumbing to fix a clog at my house. The guy fixed it but kept telling me there was a bigger issue and that I needed to install a discounted $1600 clean out valve that he could do after work as a favor. HANDS DOWN the BEST plumbers ever!!! We had a plumber come in the day before totally giving us a bunk quote, lied and flaked on us. Called Olson Plumbing and within an hour Richard and Alex came over and saved the day! They quickly did a diagnostic (the other owner Paul even came by to help!) and gave an honest quote of the work that needed to be done and a timeline and were 100% true to their word and even did a few extra repairs to make sure we were well taken care of! There is much to say about Olson's plumbing and especially Rich. I cannot express enough gratitude for all the help, kindness, empathy, follow through and follow up that Rich has done to help me with a bad situation in my home. So thankful for Paul and Marcos help!
We had them help with a shower drain that was clogged and a sink repair in October of last year. They were quick but efficient and very friendly. We needed an update on a fixture for our sink and immediately called Olson's. Marco answered and got me scheduled right away. He shows up on time and masked (if that's important to you).
Completed the job and even suggested another company to use for a hot water problem with one of our showers because he hasn't worked with the brand we have. I greatly appreciate his honesty and recommendations. Won't hesitate to use them again and refer them to neighbors and friends!

We had a low water pressure issue in the house that was lingering for months. Had two plumbers come out to diagnose the problem. The 1st plumber said we needed to replace our tankless water heater. Cost? Quoted $4,000. We called a 2nd plumber for a 2nd opinion. Said we needed to replace the tankless water heater, replace the pipes connecting the house to the water main and also install a pressure regulator (He claimed we didn't have an existing pressure regulator and that we would benefit from one being installed). Cost? Quoted $7,500 for the water heater and $1,500 for the other work. NO THANKS.

Finally, we called Olson's Plumbing. Richard spent a grand total of 30 seconds before diagnosing the problem and proposing the solution: replace the existing pressure regulator (a tiny fraction of the cost proposed by the 1st two plumbers). Within 30 minutes or less, the pressure regulator was replaced and the water pressure was back to normal in the house. Problems fixed!!! Both Richard and Marco (aka Gordo) were absolutely incredible. They were professional, cordial, and sincere. We are so relieved and happy that we found Olson's Plumbing, our new plumber for all future work and referrals. Big thanks to Richard and Marco for such amazing service and most importantly, for giving us peace of mind.

I cannot speak highly enough of Olson's Plumbing. Not only can I trust that they will do excellent work on any job, they have been incredibly trustworthy over the years that we have been using them. I've lost count of how many times we've had to give them a call.

When a different plumbing company told me that I'd need to have half of my bathroom wall ripped out to fix a broken shower, Paul came and fixed the problem without damaging the wall at all. It's been a few years and we've had no further issues with the shower.

When we briefly smelled gas outside recently, we called a company that touted themselves as gas specialists to investigate. They concluded that we had two leaks and quoted us thousands of dollars to fix it. Of course, we headed to Olson's for a second opinion. Richard and Marco came out and did a thorough investigation, but could find no leaks anywhere.

You can't beat Olson's when it comes to quality work and integrity. They've literally saved me thousands of dollars over the years, and I won't make the mistake of calling anyone else ever again.

After my shower valve started leaking I tried some self repairs with no success. I called Olson's and Marco did a quick and great job of diagnosing the issue on the phone. After sending him some pictures, he gave me a repair quote, but he explained a solution that allowed me to personally fix the issue saving me a great deal of money, stress, and time.

Marco was friendly and responsive, but more importantly, he was ethical and honest, guiding me through a fix instead of securing another job! Next time I have a plumbing issue, Olson's will be the only call I make.

Needed a hot water heater. Went to Lowe's, picked one out, met with and researched their installer and between process and bid felt something was off. In HB for 3 years without a go-to plumber, I poked around, found Olson Plumbing, made a call late yesterday afternoon and THE Mr. Rich Olson answered the phone. He gave me a fair quote, and by 11am this morning the unit was installed. Installer Alex was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Alex not only did an excellent job with the installation, but was thoughtfully teaching his colleague Roger how to do the job. Now I have a new water heater and a go-to plumber.

Once again, Paul and Brad have saved the day!

Here's a little story:

I was doing a favor for a friend by giving him a tiling job to do in my guest bathroom. Around the tub, etc. Being a novice, he did not realize he was getting grout, cement, etc. down the drain. Fast forward to no water flow at all. When it happened, I simply could not remember that it was Olson's that did such a great job for me before. I will never forget again. I called a different plumber and the people who came out gave me an estimate of - wait for it - $5800. I showed them the door.

I agonized over this for close to 6 weeks - fortunately this was not my main bathroom. I finally remembered I had yelped about Olson's last year. Went back and found my review, called and made an appointment.

They came out right on time, and spent less than an hour clearing my problem. I was astounded! They did another little favor for me, too, which was much appreciated.

Bottom line - only $125 later and I am set. My stress level went way down. And I have to say, it is such a great thing to know that I can call an honest, professional experienced plumber for anything I need. I am sure I will have something else for them to do!

We called late Friday night with a sewer blockage. Paul called first thing in the morning and came out later at the scheduled time. He cleared the roots.
Sunday the kitchen sink backed up and he and Marco came out Monday as scheduled and cleared the the sink sewer line. He checked out the drains with maximum water running.
He never tried to sell us anything and provided information to eliminate a bathroom sink odor.

Paul saved the day!

My main sewer line got backed up on Christmas. I called Paul at about 8:30 AM on December 26. He came out within the hour and fixed my sewage issue in about 30 minutes. He was thorough and went much farther into my main line than my regular Rooter service I used to use did. He pointed out every time he hit any sort of blockage.

My kitchen sink drain was clogged (something I've been putting off on doing) to the point where when you turned on the garbage disposal water was coming up from from the other sink basin except this time it didn't go down. I called Olson's Plumbing and Rooter and they scheduled a plumber to come out between 8am and 10am. Alex called first thing in the morning and said that he may be there closer to 10am. He called again at 9:07am and said he was on his way. Alex was super nice and unclogged my drain within a few minutes. He made sure everything was working properly and also pointed out that the drain pipe under one of the basins was leaking and needed to be replaced. I let him know that will be my next project :). Alex was also kind enough to answer a lot of my questions about replacing the water pipes in the house. When I have this done I will go with Olson's Plumbing and Rooter. I would highly recommend Olson's Plumbing and Rooter for your plumbing needs.

I called Olson's plumbing after spending 1 1/2 hrs plunging a clogged toilet. We tried every internet hack we could find....nothing worked. They gave me a window of 20-minutes to 2 hours from time of call to show up; they were there in less than 1 hour. They asked a few questions and quoted me a price. It took me longer for me to write the check than it did for them to unclog the toilet. Fast, super friendly. I can't express my happiness for my new found plumbing service.

This was my third plumber. Richard from Olsen Plumbing solved the problem.

The issue was a backed up toilet and shower drain. The 1st couldn't unclog the bathtub. The second plumber also couldn't unclog the bathtub either, and wanted $3k to replace the bathtub p-trap drain.

Richard came in with camera and unclogged everything for less than $500.
Richard is a life saver. Great guy! All personality! Above all else just a genuine honest person.

I called Olson's Plumbing this morning and they were able to come out the same day. I have not been able to use one of my toilets for a week. We weren't sure what was wrong..... if it was our toilet, something in the line or the pipes....? Always a little nerve racking when you don't know because then you are at the mercy of the contractor. Anyway, the plumber was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem with minimal issues and cost. We are very pleased and would use him again and refer him to our friends and family.

Simply put.....Paul Olson did the job that another experienced plumber could not do. I called the 1st local plumber who provided me a reasonable estimate. He came to my home and snaked the main drain line that goes out to the street multiple times but was unsuccessful, yet he still charged me. It was explained to me that I had major root problems under the street. So I called city hall only to be told that if there are roots in any portion of the main drain line (excluding the city portion) its the homeowner's responsibility to pay for it, which includes digging up the street and repaving it. This is where Paul's experience and his truly wanting to clean the drain line separates him from other plumbers. Paul snaked the exact same drain line as the previous plumber, but Paul within minutes pulled out a substantial bundle of ficus roots. His technique and his explanation of the entire process made sense. As of today, everything is still draining as normal. A big thank you.

I contacted Paul on Monday (8/29/16) for a quote to connect the home's existing gas line to a new one put in by the gas company. He came over within an hour and provided a very competitive quote with different options, too. He was very easy to communicate with via phone and text messaging. We agreed on a price and he came over on Thursday as promised. He started at 10:00 a.m. and was finished by 2:30 p.m. was we agreed. He was very professional, cleaned up after himself and we are thrilled with the work done. The gas company is now telling us that they can't put the new meter in until September 13 - of course, this is not Paul's fault.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Paul, I will hire Paul again and we are very happy with the work.

I called Paul for a second opinion to have the gas in my fireplace connected. The quote I got from our regular plumber seemed much too high. Paul was able to come out pretty quickly even though it was the week before Christmas and immediately he noticed that something was off. Long story short, he found a gas leak to explain the gas that I had been smelling in my kitchen since we bought our house. Mind you, we had had multiple plumbers AND the gas company in our house and none of them were able to identify it. I'll spare you all the details, because all that matters is that Paul and Marco were wonderful! They fixed the gas leak, connected our fireplace and installed the logs/fireplace kit for us to enjoy by Christmas! They got the job done above and beyond and for a very reasonable price. WOW. These guys were great. I had a pesky bathroom sink that was very slow to drain. I personally attempted the hardware store drain clearing liquid and rooting tools without success (there went two hours I will never get back). Fortunately, Olson's Plumbing came to our rescue. Nothing less than A+++ will suffice to rate Olson Plumbing=When I called yesterday morning I was pleasantly surprised to be speaking directly with Paul, the owner. After listening carefully to my concerns he assured me they would come to my house before noon THE SAME DAY!! Stunner! Promptly at 11:30 Paul and his assistant, Jonathan knocked on my door. A+++ for response time!
Now, the work=Paul and Jonathan made a careful assessment of my plumbing problems and gave me a clear explanation of what needed to be done. A+++ for communication! My toilet had a clog and my plunger wasn't doing the trick. Also, my kitchen sink was backing up when we did dishes and washed clothes at the same time. I am a cheap firefighter that likes to do things myself. Alex and Rich came out on a rainy, windy day and were up front with the price. I have to admit my first thought was should I go through with this?

Alex was able to unclog my toilet and he cleaned out my kitchen drain in the rain! Turns out the price they quoted me was worst case and they ended up charging me a quarter of the initial quote! Alex was super respectful and I would definitely recommend Olson's Plumbing to anyone in need of plumbing advice or work. We had a shower that was not draining. Being in the kids' bathroom, I am certain there was an army of legos, toys, and other unnecessary plastic items that had taken the plunge down that drain.

Anyways, it was an on going problem and several plumbers were not able to fix. One actually told us we would have to spend thousands to dig up the pipe, power flush the system, etc.

We recently called Olson's and scheduled an appointment. Paul and Marco came out to take a look at the issue. They were prompt, friendly and professional. They also cleared the shower drain in about 20 minutes.

After being unsuccessful on the first try, they tackled the drain pipe from a different access point due to it being oddly shaped. It worked.

Came to the house, found a likely cause for the water leak, and said he would be back on Tuesday with a part he needed to order.
Tuesday came and went, Wednesday went by, nothing on Thursday until he was called again.
When he finally did come on Saturday he had the wrong part - not even close to the shower fixture style. When I objected and wanted the original part fixed or used, he gave me attitude and said (in a condescending way), Well, good luck!
He might be fine for sewer work, but a fit, form and finish plumber he is not.

I discovered that the galvanized drain pipe under my kitchen sink rusted out and was leaking water all over my floor. I had spoken with Marco at Olson's Plumbing before and hadn't used him but I noted that he was straightforward and friendly and didn't give me BS or try to upsell me. I have experience in construction/contracting so I'm the type he wouldn't be able to upsell anyway. Time isn't something I have a lot of these days, so instead of fixing it myself, I called Marco to see if he could help me out.

Marco was friendly and accommodating just like I remembered. He said he could come out on Monday but I asked if he can come the same day (Friday night) since water was leaking all over the floor. He said he could come at night time and if that was okay with me. I really appreciated his effort since I knew I was his last customer before he started his weekend off. Marco and his associate (Alejandro I think?) were both really polite and professional even though I was casually cursing like a sailor. He saved me a lot of money by using the right tools to solve my issue as fast as possible. Thanks Marco! I'll definitely keep you guys in mind the next time I have some issues.

**UPDATED REVIEW**
I had a slow draining kitchen sink and a possible leak and called Olson's plumbing again. Old man Olson (it was actually the co-owner of the company, Richard, but he told me to call him that in my review), Marcos, and Alex came out. They found I not only had a small leak in my copper pipe but it was a flood. To make matters worse my kitchen sink that they tried to snake, the snake couldn't even go through the pipe.
Richard was very patient explaining my options. No hard sell but took pictures of my pipes under my house and showed me the corrosion. So I made the decision to have them repipe my house and to replace the completely blocked galvanized pipe.
I cannot say enough about the workmanship of the plumbers and the drywall/stucco work to repair the holes they had to make. Richard inspected the work and didn't like something and had the plumbers redo it (I wouldn't have known any better). It is getting more difficult to find a company that does what they say they will, care about their work, and goes the extra mile to help their customers and leave them happy. Sorry for the length of my review but needed to let potential customers know how special this company is.. I have Richard on speed dial for any future plumbing needs

Had a problem with my 2 years new main sewer line that was installed by Ameriserv. When the sewer backed up I called Ameriserv so they could check and see that it wasn't the new pipe. They came out at 7:00 and started to check the sewer. I was told that the new line was fine but there was a piece of metal lodged in the sewer 18 feet out. They said that it totally blocked the 4 inch pipe!!! I thought that was crazy so I called Paul Olson. A four inch piece of iron in the line, no way. He came out and cleared the line in less than a few minutes. The guy from Ameriserv had the sewer camera inserted in the wrong end of the double clean out pipe!! The metal he saw in the pipe was the inside of the cap that was on the end if the wrong clean out line!!
I can't recommend Olson's Plumbing highly enough. Paul is honest and knowledgeable! When I told him my problem on the phone he replied ill clear that drain! That he did!
Btw, the owner of Ameriserv came to talk to me the day after his men left and told me they did all that was expected of them and if I couldn't clear the metal object, I would have to DIG UP part of my driveway, cut the pipe and put it back together! Call Olson's!!

Paul Olson helped me recently with a broken valve in my guest bathroom - it required a lot of investigation to accurately determine the issue (poor remodeling in the past) and he had to obtain the correct part and bring it back to install. In addition to the repair, he insisted on caulking the spout and control fixture to do the job right.
He responded right away to my initial phone call, was very clear about prices and prompt both in coming to my house and returning with the promised part.
I feel it was good value for the money and I am very satisfied. If I need any additional plumbing services, whether new or repair, Olson's will be my first call!

We had a leak at the base of our downstairs toilet. I called Olson's Plumbing and Marco came out to make repairs in less than 2 hours. It took him about an hour to pull and reseat the toilet with brand new double wax rings. Cleaned up and recaulked the toilet base. Amazing service for $250. I would highly recommend a call to them prior to hiring a plumber.

Had a sink drain clog (turned out to be old garbage disposal build-up in the trap) and our usual plumber was booked for days. Called Olson's and they were there in literally 20 minutes. Alex was friendly, professional, safe (wore mask), a good communicator, and resolved our issue quickly. Could have also replaced the garbage disposal on the spot if we wanted the service and at my request he walked through the options, but he wasn't pushy or biased. My main gets roots & needs maintenance. I initially called another plumber who wanted over $1,000 for a special water wash out...but $800 on the side 'after hours.' My neighbor told me to tell this plumber to get lost. Called Olson's & Marcos came same day & fixed everything for less than a quarter of the cost of the other plumber's quote & no stupid water treatment, just good old fashioned snaking that did the job. Thankful that there are still some honest companies not ripping people off.

I would like to thank Richard Olson and his crew for helping us out. Richard went out of his way (literally) to help us with our bathroom issues. They saved us time and money by not having to tear up bathroom or build a new clean out on the side of the house to solve the problem. Richard was very responsive and polite when speaking to him over the phone. He's a straight shooter and it's great to get answers from someone like him because you know what you have to do to fix your plumbing issues.

After calling Olson Plumbing, I got an appointment the next day. Called two other companies and one said it would take a month for someone to come and give me an estimate. I got a gas valve hooked up to my gas line outside by Marco and he did a great job. He was nice, punctual and got the job done. I will use this company again if I need other repairs done.

Sooooo glad I called these guys! Our shower was clogged for 2 days and the thing wouldn't budge. Decided to leave it to a professional to figure it out and called these guys because they were local and had good reviews. Had a toilet base leak and they were able to come out the same day - VERY convenient. Richard gave me a thorough and clear assessment of what needed to be done. Marco did the the work professionally and courteously throughout. Replaced the wax seal better than original and reinstalled the toilet, including caulking and clean up. All done in about an hour. Very satisfied with the service ... recommended!

I almost don't want to put in a good review because I really like Paul and hope he doesn't get too busy! I called Olson's early in the morning after another plumber didn't call me back and he worked around his schedule to get us in. He was at our house in a few hours and fixed a shower valve that I tried to remove and couldn't get out. He had it out in short order and replaced it. He was neat and cleaned everything up before he left. I would not hesitate to use him again. Oh, and even though he had a little difficultly getting the valve fixed he charged the quoted amount. Can't go wrong with this plumber!

2 years have passed since my last review. As usual, Olson's Plumbing, specifically Marco, did an amazing job helping us cut/cap our copper water line to the fridge. We are installing a whole home water treatment systemband he was able to prep everything prior to the installation. Marco is extremely professional, prompt, provides excellent customer service, personable, honest and trustworthy. After completing any work, he verifies everything is in order prior to leaving. Their rates are very competitive. We will continue to call Olsen's and specifically ask for Marco for all of our plumbing!

When Paul Olson showed up at our front door to clean our mainline sewer drain that was almost completely clogged for a week, I knew immediately that the A Team had arrived. No kids this time. Paul has over thirty years of experience in the plumbing trade.

We had three other plumbing companies come to our house to solve our clogged drain problem and all were unsuccessful and recommended the installation of a larger sewer cleanout to solve our problem at a cost from $2,500 to $3,200.

Paul using our smaller cleanouts worked his magic with just using a clean-out snake leaving our sewer drain free of debris which he verified with a camera. He identified and marked the location of the main sewer line and the proper spot to install a larger cleanout if we chose to do so.

Paul's prices are fair and reasonable and substantially less than the other three plumbers we had previously used. He already has a five star Yelp.com rating and if I could, I would give him a ten star rating. Trust me. He is the guy to go to if you have a plumbing problem.

Just had Olson's Plumbing here to clear a clog in a mainline branch caused by paper build up from a low flush toilet. He fixed it quickly for $150! Last time I called Rescue Rooter and they quoted me $1400 for a special water flush and then lowered the price to $800. He also fixed a faucet handle for free that another plumber couldn't figure out how it attached. I will count on Paul Olson for all plumbing jobs in the future!

These guys were awesome. We had an ongoing issue and called them at around three in the afternoon. They came out and put a camera down our mainline. What they found, they fixed. They ended up putting a clean out in my front yard and stayed till the job was done which was around 9 pm. The price was fair and they were super diligent about making sure it was good to go before they left. They left the place cleaner than it was when they arrived. Friendly, hard working and honest. Paul was great - called him on short notice for a backed-up kitchen sink and he showed up within two hours. Sink line had 51 years of build-up and he was able to use various cutting blades to return the line to its near-original size. The sink drains better than it has in the last 30 years and the price was very reasonable. Great job !!!

Our water heater needed fixing so because of our prior experience with him, I contacted Paul again for help.

He gave me a quote on what he would charge for the fix and suggested that we look into whether the water heater was still under warranty so I could get the part for free and save money. He asked that I send him pics of the water heater so he can do some digging.

While I looked into the warranty myself by looking for our installation receipt, I called the company that installed my water heater and asked for a quote for a price check.

Unfortunately, when I talked with Paul again, he was already overbooked for the day (sounded like he was dealing with at least one frantic customer). But instead of just saying he couldn't do the job, he referred us to another company that he said did warranty repair for our particular water heater brand. (It turned out our water heater was out of warranty, by the way.) He also said that if that company couldn't get to us that day, he'd refer us to his brother's company but he highly recommended we call that other company first.

I did what he suggested. The other company was available to come right away, and gave a similar quote as Paul (and slightly lower than the quote given to me by the company that installed my water heater). They did a good, efficient job.

While Paul didn't do the job, I'm giving him five stars again for a reasonable quote as well as making sure we got our issue addressed by giving us a good referral. He continues to have our trust and is our go-to first for future plumbing needs.

In the afternoon, my tub backed up in two adjacent bathrooms, a toilet overflowed and both bathroom floors were covered in water. I now know that this was due to a main sewage line blockage. I called Olson's Plumbing and Paul picked up the phone right away. After I described the issue, he indicated that he had availability in the early evening. Paul arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem, cleared the main line and charged a fair price for the work. I am very grateful for his quick service, as an unusable bathrooms is a huge inconvenience. I highly recommend Paul of Olson's Plumbing.

I apologize for the dramatics here, but I feel like it is warranted. My dad is currently on hospice care at his house. My brother and I have been taking turns in 24 hour shifts to help my mom take care of him. The last thing we needed during this time was to have something else go wrong, but alas, in this cruel world we live in, their shower decided it no longer wanted to drain. My brother tried to snake it to no avail. He called out a Big-Name Rooter company. They would not give us a price over the phone as they had to see the exact issue. We were quoted something absurd like $450 as the clog was isolated to the shower. Apparently, everything is cheaper if they get to use a clean out. I sent him on his way and reached out to another Big-Name Rooter company. They were a bit cheaper and gave us a decent discount, so I let the man try. He tried a few times, but he gave up and told me we needed to replace the old cast iron p-trap with something newer and the estimate was $1,800. We were getting very discouraged at this point. I checked out Yelp to see if I could find somebody else. I found Olson's Plumbing and Rooter and noticed they had a very good rating. Marco responded very quickly and called me and gave me a price over the phone at nearly half the cost of the previous company. I told him another company had been out and they could not unclog the drain. This seemed to bring out a competitive spirit in Marco as he seemed like he was done for the day but wanted to come check out what this other company couldn't do! He arrived on time and unclogged the drain for us rather quickly! It was such a relief for my mom and us. We can now shower again and not worry about this anymore and take care of my dad. Thank you very much, Marco and Olson's Plumbing and Rooter! Your business card is now on our refrigerator for the next time we get a clog!

This review is long overdue. Unfortunately I have had to use Olson's Plumbing a few times this past year. Let's face it, no one wants plumbing issues, but if you do, and you need a plumber, Olson's Plumbing is the best! I called late on a Friday afternoon, and not only did Mario answer right away, he finished a job and headed straight over. Fixed two problems on one visit, was super fair in his pricing, and just so friendly. Hopefully you never need a plumber (if you are reading this you probably do,) but if you do, call Olson's right away!

I called Paul because we had water coming from our ceiling and needed a plumber right away. He was there within an hour, found the leaking pipe quickly, did the repair for less than I expected, and was so happy with his work and attitude we had him do several other jobs, then sent him to my daughter's to do some drain cleaning for her. I called Olson's Plumbing at 8 pm on Thursday night as I needed a main line cleanout done. First off, they answered the phone at that time, which was a pleasant surprise. They told me they would show up the next morning between 10 am and noon and sure enough, Alejandro pulled up at around 10:30. Alejandro was professional and did a great job -- he double checked everything to make sure the problem was solved. Here's the other thing about Olson's: I've had plumbers who charge just to show up at my house! Olson's Plumbing doesn't do that. They are reliable, professional and always get the job done. I highly recommend Olson's Plumbing.

Great service! I highly recommend Olsons's plumbing. I found them through Yelp after our normal plumber told us he didn't have availability until next week. One of our shower drains was clogged and water was coming up. I gave them a call and one technician Richard, gave me a quote right away but said that since Irvine, was out of their service area, he couldn't come. However, he gave me a call back 5 minutes later and said that he had a job in Costa Mesa in a couple hours so he would be able to come to my house in an hour.

Sure enough, Richard and Marco came to the house within the hour and fixed the problem in 30 minutes! Thank you so much to you both!

He gave me a quote to snake the toilet and quickly had my toilet flushing properly again. He gave me recommendations for the future. I have nothing but good things to say about this business. Paul Olson is the owner and an excellent plumber. He answered my phone call persomally at 7am in the morning to fix a gas leak I had. He showed up early for the appointment (after calling first to make sure it'd be ok) and got to work on the problem. It turned out to be a much larger problem than he or I anticipated, but he stayed until the early evening (almost 9 hours of work) to make sure the problem was fixed correctly and I would be able to get the gas turned back on that evening so my small children would be able to take a warm bath before school the next day. I will use Paul in the future for all my plumbing needs, and would recommend him to you without hesitation.

I had a leak under my utility sink yesterday and I called Paul with Olson's Plumbing. Paul, the owner was very responsive to my needs. He responded immediately to my phone call and he arrived as promised; he has done an awesome job fixing my leak, something he had to undo due to my prior plumber mediocre job; Paul quoted me the price on the spot and stuck to it even though it took him a bit longer because of all the issues he had to fix once he opened up the drywall. Man, I couldn't fix my plumbing with my drain cleaner this time and our sink/dishwasher/washing machine were all backed up on Sunday night of course. I was going to rent a snake from Home Depot, but I tried sending out a request on Yelp to different companies. Olson's got back to me right away on a Sunday night with a number to call back. but I didn't want to bother them on Sunday. My wife called Monday morning and the owner immediately gave her a quote and sent out Marco who fixed our clog within a few minutes. The price was the exact price quoted and probably just as cheap as renting a snake from Home Depot. The thing is, you can break things if you do it yourself or I can with my luck (so I didn't have to worry about that part). Usually I am skeptical of plumbers, electricians and contractors, but this place is awesome, honest, fast and professional. Not to mention down the street. There are some good people left in this world. Thanks guys!!!

I needed my water line for my refrigerator extended and then hooked up under my kitchen sink so I could use the automatic ice and water feature, and the bathroom faucets were running slow and needed new screens in the nozzles. Marcus came out with an assistant and assessed the situation. He was able to fix it right then and there. Took about two hours. Richard came by to check on everything before they all left. Very professional. I was not sure about the price as I didn't comapative shop, Total was $375. I was fine with it, but I don't know if that was a good price or not. All in all, I would recommend Olsen Plumbing and call them again!

Excellent professional experience! I have been having plumbing issues with my kitchen sink and washing machine; I could not wash dishes or shower if the washing machine was running because it would back up into the kitchen sink, nor could do a load of laundry without the washing machine saturating the garage. Paul was able to provide same day service as my call. He explained his findings, recommendations and estimated cost. During the repair, the pipe damage was a little more than expected, however Paul repaired with no additional cost. After he was done, cleaned up the area leaving nothing behind. He answered all my questions, and the estimated cost was the actual cost. I would definitely recommend him.

Paul and Jason are awesome! Not only did they find the problem the house flipper we purchased our house from but replaced all the gas piping that was problematic in one day and the gas company was able to come the next day and turn on our gas lines. And too go above and beyond Paul found that our gas lines had evidence of rust and then came back the next day to cover the exposed areas so we don't have rust in the future leading to leaks that could be detrimental later on. 6 stars if I could. Learned a lot about plumbing from Rich & Paul, and the awesome team they have. We had new piping, new toilets installed, new water heater and all completed in a very expedited timeframe. We had problems with all before they arrived and now they have fixed it all.

They made sure to cover everything inside well so when doing the piping the clean up was fast, efficient and they had a very courteous team so if anything needed to be shut off they let us know well in advance. And the drywall was put back to perfection so really impressed with the craftmanship

We were able to stay home during the work and they just worked hard w very few times that they had to talk w us as they knew exactly what was needed to be done and worked well orchestrated to get it all done as soon as possible.

Our first experience w Olsen's was to have a toilet that was leaking fixed by Marco. He did a great job telling us the options and we made a smart choice based on facts. He explained the options well so that we could make an informed decision. We were so happy w that work that when we needed additional work done we contacted Olsen's.

I can't say enough about the service that Marco provided today. My garbage disposal was backed up due to my stupidity. Note to self: don't try and send lemon rinds and zucchini peels down together. I called at 11:45. They were here by 1:00. Marco gave me two possible scenarios for price up front. When he got here, he confirmed which estimate and never tried to upswell me. He and his assistant took care of the problem. He explained thoroughly what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves. Extremely polite and professional. I had an issue with my shower handles which are 40+ years old not turning the water off completely and needing the valve stems replaced. I called Paul on a Friday and scheduled for next day service. I had bought a faucet for my downstairs bathroom and needed it to be replaced. Olson's Plumbing sent Marco out to do that and he was fantastic! Right away he noticed I needed new angle stops which I wasn't even aware of. Also, apparently on the inside of the faucet was all broken up which I also didn't know and he showed me. To top it off, since it was so rusted it was hard to remove my old faucet. Marco did not give up! He kept at it with all his tools and he got it out! Yay! Lol. We were both so happy! After that it was piece of cake for him. The faucet works great and looks so beautiful and my new angle stops look beautiful too! Nothing is leaking either. I told my niece about them and she said it was funny because she had used them for the plumbing at her house and she loved them! After a headache of a morning, I got a call from bossman saying his kids clogged the toilet moments before a flight out of town.... YIKES. I called multiple plumbers and none could come out on short notice. Then, I got Alex on the line. He was straight to the point, no nonsense. Told me he'd be there in 20 minutes and was happy to use the spare key and find the bathroom himself as I'm out of state. Didn't mind about the dogs either. Quoted me 165 to unclog. When he realized how expensive the toilet was, he warned me it could be a pretty penny of 365 IF they needed to take out the toilet. I appreciated the candor and the great sense of humor in general. I had a kitchen sink that has been clog from years of grease build up. Due to poor design of my kitchen sink there was no way I could have repaired it myself and it required a very highly skill professional.

I was lucky enough to find Olson's Plumbing and Rooter through yelp and chose them because of all of their good reviews. And from my experience I can say all of the the good reviews are true.

Why I will call Olson's again:
1) When I called Olson's and they sent our Marco and Richard to my house that same day and they arrived within the window that they said they would.
2) Marco and Richard were very friendly and professional. And they knew the issue and how to fix it as soon as I explained it them.
3) They fixed the issue without breaking anything and gave me a 30 day workmanship guarantee.
4) The cost was very affordable and they were very upfront with the cost and they did not throw a penny on top of it.

I wrote my 1st Yelp review on Olson's Plumbing & Rooter in 2015. Paul didn't ask me to, but I wanted to provide my positive experience with him back then. Bottom line: Paul Olson and his team are plumbers you can rely on who know what they are doing, you can trust that they are providing you an honest assessment of the problem and what needs to be done to fix it keeping costs in mind. For me, I want to know a good doctor, attorney, accountant, mechanic, contractor and plumber who are professionals at what they do and tell it to you straight. Olson's Plumbing is in my contacts as my plumber.

More details for reviewers who want to know my current experience. I have not had many plumbing issues, thankfully, but since my 1st review, I moved to a different house and had a sewer line blockage. Paul, his brother Richard and Alejandro were able to come out to my house the same day I called and worked on the sewer line blockage and readjusting my downstairs toilet. What was going to be in the thousands of dollars to replace a portion of the sewer line turned out to be in the hundreds of dollars once they were able to dig up the line. What I also appreciated was the little things where Paul had cloths to set the toilet on when he removed it so the floor wouldn't get marked or dirty and Alejandro cleaning up the outside area and replacing the tarp and stones in the landscaping. If you need plumbing work done, Paul is the best. We had a gas line fail in our backyard and needed to be replaced. Our kitchen sink was clogged and I was searching for a plumber to help out. I sent messages to several plumbers but Olson's was quick to reply as well as able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Marco gave me a call as soon as they had arrived and was quick to diagnose the problem with the clog. He was able to unclog the drain and double and triple checked to insure that everything was perfect with the drain. He even put in a concerted effort to make sure nothing really spilled or got dirty during the unclogging. I called Olson's Plumbing because I had a blockage in my laundry room drainage pipe. I have had many plumbers come and fix the problem, so many in fact that I was beginning to think that it had to be that my washing machine was leaking. When the owner of Olson's Plumbing came over, he quickly realized what the problem was. He found roots that were several feet long in my main pipe that my kitchen and laundry room were draining to! These roots were so ridiculous that I am floored that the other plumbers never even detected them. They all did the same thing and snaked the drain in the laundry room (which was always only temporary relief!). Needless to say, Olson's Plumbing got EVERYTHING cleared out, cleaned up and done at an excellent price. After the third slab leak in our house in the 10 years we have been living in it, we decided to replace all the piping in the house. We contacted four plumbing / repiping companies for estimates on the job. After discussion with each potential contractor, we went with Olson's because they had the best plan for how to route and install the new piping with minimum wall and ceiling damage at a reasonable price. They were not the lowest bidder. Their price was in the middle of the range of bids we received. We selected Olson's because their price was in the median range, and their repiping routing plan minimized the damage to our walls, and ceilings. Their price also included the costs of repairing and retexturing all the walls damaged in the repiping. Not all the bids we received included retexturing, and some would have required us to purchase and supply new shower valves ourselves. Olson's guarantee of workmanship and parts was also among the best and longest.

I spoke with Richard initially, who quoted me a price over the phone after I told him the age, location, number of stories, and number of bathrooms in our house. He also told me that his company could complete the new pipe installation in one day, and complete all the drywall repairs and texturing the next day.

The Olson's plumbers arrived on time and completed the repiping in one day as promised. The drywall repair people completed all the wall repairs in one day as well.

We did find a couple very minor leaks after the repiping. We called Olson's, and they came out the next day and replaced a defective Tee fitting that had cracked. The second leak turned out to be in our old kitchen faucet. I bought a new faucet from Home Depot and Olson's installed it at no cost.

I am giving Olson's five stars because they are reasonably priced, their plumbers and wall, ceiling, and masonry repair people are respectful, do not use foul language on the job, do excellent work, and cleanup the workspace very well after the job is done. Add to this, Richard and his lead plumber Marco are very easy to talk to, responsive, and they are men of their word. In the end we were charged exactly what Richard quoted me over the phone. Olson's did not bill us for anything until the job was completed to our satisfaction, they definitely kept their word on the final price. Richard's business ethics are outstanding, and the people working our job were all very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. One of their lead plumbers even gave one of our cars a jump start when it wouldn't start to move it back into our garage at the end of the plumbing day.

I wanted to update my review as unfortunately we continued to have sewer issues a few weeks later. Richard came back out and was able to figure out the issue....turns out there was a lateral running under my slab through my kitchen over to my master bath. The clean out to the toilet had completely rotted away and concrete and mud were getting into the sewer. On top of that our Kohler low flow toilets weren't pushing enough water when flushed which made matters worse.

Long story short, the investigation, repair and toilet replacements took about 4 days total to complete as they had to break out tile and concrete to get to the issue and then the concrete & tile repair had to go in stages so they would dry. They also encountered several obstacles along the way which caused the repair to take longer than anticipated. I expected a hefty price tag with that in mind but Richard had given me an initial estimate and was kind enough to stick to it (even gave me a birthday discount!). I saw first hand the amount of work they put in and will be forever grateful that they were so fair in their pricing. They even worked 12 hours straight one day just so I could go enjoy my birthday plans the next day.....amazing customer service across the board!!!

Richard was able to turn a horrible situation into a positive one. He was always lighthearted and tried his best to keep things upbeat and positive which we appreciated. Richard & Paul, thank you again for being a great contractor, customers definitely appreciate your hard work & honesty!! We definitely will always recommend Olson's plumbing to family & friends!

Wow! Richard and Paul of Olson's Plumbing have the highest level of integrity and provide above and beyond incredible technical and customer service. The world would be a much better place if more contractors were like them. In the past, I have had Paul come to our house for routine plumbing issues. All jobs were completed in a timely manner and at reasonable cost. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Richard to try and resolve what appeared to me to be a possible slab leak. Richard spent several hours of investigation, and he did not detect any pressurized leaks. But this is where Richard went ABOVE and BEYOND. He realized my concern and anxiety with the situation (due to past slab leaks), and he suggested following up with a second opinion from another leak detection company because he said they used specialized equipment. He told me their inspection cost (which was reasonable), and he arranged for the company's service technician to visit the next day, which met our time constraint. Richard volunteered and came himself to the house to help communicate the issue and his own findings and to make sure I was comfortable with the other company's service and findings to help alleviate my anxiety. Well, no leak was detected much to my delight. Richard would not accept any payment, not even for his initial visit, let alone for the time he spent on my behalf working with the second leak detection company. Olson's Plumbing clearly values customer service, and they have my business for life.

We had a leak in outdoor line near hose faucet. The piping was in cement, but they were able to get to the line without Jack-hammer cost, and put in new pipe and faucet with hose bib. They were very polite and did good work. Maybe a little high on their price for amount of work done.

Paul's 168 five star reviews validate his service as exceptional! He is genuine and conscientious, and his prices are fair and reasonable. Paul and Marco replaced a shower valve and changed out two shower heads. At my request after the initial work was completed, Paul and Marco came back out a 2nd time to make an additional adjustment on one of the shower heads water pressure to accommodate my wife's autoimmune disease. I fully expected Paul to charge me an additional service charge which he did not do! Before he and Marco left the house, Paul checked with my wife to be sure the pressure was to her satisfaction. This is the guy! On time, friendly, knowledgeable. I've had patio drains in my backyard for 20 years. Every year thye are cleared, but the past few years they still back up every time it rains. (xxxc) came out to clear them last time, couldn't and told me I needed to reroute the pipes. I had a clogged drain in my kitchen, laundry room, and hallway bathroom. Marco came that day and on the scheduled time he set and he cleared my clog right away. They are very friendly with reasonable prices. I had a problem with a toilet again and I had used Olson's Plumbing a few years ago and was happy with their service so I called them again. They came out the same day, a few hours later and Marco fixed my toilet problems in an hour. I am very happy with their service and I like that they are upfront with their pricing. Marco told me the price before he started and that's the price it was. I would recommend this company.

AMAZING customer service and results . We had a pipe burst and Richard promptly came by to check it out. He provided us with our options with various pros and cons plus the price. We don't know much about plumbing and Richard took the time to explain things.

We decided to repipe the entire house and within the week his team was scheduled to resolve the issue. Upon our first meeting, Richard explained the job would only take 2 days including repairs. He also guaranteed the price would not raise. Richard stayed true to his word, there were no raises in pricing and the job was successfully completed within 2 days. We had purchased a new bathroom vanity plus bathroom fixtures which were also installed for us. I have already recommended them to other family members having plumbing problems. We will definitely be using them in the future for any plumbing issues.

Wow!!! By far the best ever!!! Paul is knowledgeable, punctual, very hard working, gets the job done & fast. He has come out twice, 1st time I called about a faucet leak in my bath tub he was there asap & fixed it fast. 2nd time my bathroom sink was leaking, he said ''ok! Ill put a new faucet in''.....easy! Then I just happened to mention my shower head was spraying out of control...paul: ''oh really, ill put a new one on'' The replacements he uses are very very great quality. I Mentioned a few other minor things and he was already on top of it. I am super happy with everything, You can really tell he loves what he does and is not like these other people that try to get over on you. HE IS AWESOME!!!! DO NOT CALL ANYONE ELSE......CALL OLSON'S!!!!

They deserve 6 stars for responsiveness, friendliness and professionalism. When I heard rushing water noise coming from our master bathtub, my husband quickly found Olson's Plumbing and Rooter. Mr. Richard Olson answered the Saturday morning call, heard the noise over the phone and said he would make the emergency house call himself to mitigate any water damage. It took him less than 15 minutes to arrive at our door. He easily diagnosed and resolved the problem at a reasonable price. Thank you so much for the reliable fast service!

I called Olson's for help with a slow drain from the laundry and kitchen. They were able to come out the same day and Marco cleaned the drain line for a very reasonable price. I thought the issue might be bigger than it was and asked about hyrdojetting, but Marco was very honest and thought the basic cleaning would take care of the problem. He even laid out a couple of options and said we could test the drain after each to see if the simpler cheaper option took care of it before thinking about anything more expensive. Oh man! What a few days it has been. An unexpected water leak flooded my living room and thank goodness for Paul and Richard. They were very patient, took their time, and made sure to do whatever it took to get the job done. Contact them as 5:30pm in regard to clog sink and reach a lady who say the plumber will return the call at soon as possible. Give them the benefit of the doubt and waited until 10pm but never received a call back. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to locate another plumber.

Had a leak under our kitchen sink. Second time that we have used Olson's. Great customer service. They scheduled a time that was convenient for us. RIchard and his team are the best! We were in a bind for a slab leak and had called 3 or 4 other plumbers who couldn't find the problem. When I called Richard I knew that we were outside of his repair area and not a close drive for him to come out but he did and on a weekend too. Him and his team found the problem and fixed it in a couple of days plus went above and beyond for customer service installing a dishwasher and kitchen sink that was not part of the leak repair job. Living in SoCal over 40 years we've had many plumbers but once we found Richard and Olson's Plumbing we will not be looking for another plumber. They have our business for life.

Marco arrived within his two hour window. He is very personable, professional, and extremely efficient. Marco replaced a shower valve cartridge and rebuilt the components in the toilet tank. Marco and Alex came out early and was able to unclog my kitchen sink. Very professional gentlemen, kind and answered my questions. It only took them with 20 minutes to unclog my kitchen sink. REMEMBER, DO NOT USE flushable toilet wipes!!! Didn't know that the kitchen sink drain ran into the main bathroom drain. Marco's told me how the drains are connected within my home. Anyways. Great guys and I will gladly use them again. 5 stars all the way. :)

Very minor plumbing work, and trying to get an estimate?
No matter how many pictures or texts, they just couldn't comprehend it.

No one is happy to wake up in the morning to a clogged toilet. After plunging the heck out of it, I knew that I had a bigger problem then a toilet paper clog.

Being the person that I am, I had to try and fix it myself. I rented a snake from Home Depot and start to try and clear the clog myself. When I lost the cutting tool down the drain I knew it was time to call a plumber.

I started looking through Yelp for plumbers and found Paul Olson. He was to my house in about an hour and rootered my main drain in no time. He was professional and his rate was very reasonable. Also, it was so nice to have him not try to up sell me. He asked what I needed and did exactly what I asked him to do. Next time I need a plumber, Paul is who I am going to call.

I had a clogged drain pipe in the wall leading to my washing machine. It overflowed every time the washing machine would drain. Olson's came within the hour and it was fixed shortly after that. The plumbers were friendly, explained everything and wore masks. Highly recommend and I will definitely use them again if needed.

I called in asking about a water heater replacement for our condo, the owner could not do the job since they do not have condo insurance.

What blew me away is he gave me his time for giving me pricing ranges, and advice for what I need to look for when having someone complete the job since a condo water heater set up is different. He even offered his time I wanted to send photos so he could walk me through it.

I had already had someone inspect it and they said the setup looked weird, he confirmed without even stepping into my house why the setup was different. Appreciate the time he gave me, without selling me a service, only there to help.

Wow wow wow! This company is the real deal! These gentlemen are not just regular plumbers, they're definitely the senior engineers of their trade. I called on Saturday morning at 8am because my toilet had very low pressure. They arrived at 10am on the dot. Super polite, they knew exactly what the problem before even lifting a finger. Fixed it in less then 20 mins and didn't even charge me because the job was so easy for them.

This company is one of the rare good ones. 100% honest, 100% experts of their trade, 100% reliable.

Never using another company for my plumbing needs again! Olson's is my go to.
They will be installing my new shower head this week as well. I plan on hiring them to re pipe my entire home in the near future as well.

Great response time. Had a clogged main sewer line at my home and called them on a Saturday morning and Paul answered and said he could make it between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm, well he called right back and said he could make it sooner if I liked. He showed up and got right to work. Fixed the problem and was very affordable. Well under $200 for a emergency call on a beautiful Saturday. Worth it. No up sell and no BS. Save yourself a headache and call him. Support your local guys and no need for the large guys to take your money lol.

Called Olson's when I came home from work today (holiday weekend) and my Wife said the drains are all backed up. He said they would be here by 1800 and at around 1630 great for us they showed up early. He looked over the situation asked a few questions about what the symptoms. He carefully put up screens to protect my classic car and tool box,
( the clean out is in the garage) were he than ran a what looked like a 4 diameter blade snake all the way to the street clearing the main line. They picked up their equipment cleaned up and were done in 30 minutes. Both men were very clean friendly professional explaining everything they were doing. I'm very happy with the work and the price I paid. I highly recommend Olson's plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

A rare breed when it comes to plumbers nowadays. They pitch that they We are real plumbers, not high pressure salespeople on their profile. That's really the only apsect they pitch; no scarcity tricks, no upsell, and disgustingly (pun intended) outrageously generous with their guidance and knowledge, and willingness to help beyond the scope we agreed to. Their quotes are extremely reasonable too.

This is a one man operation . He came , did half the job then never came back. Spent the whole time telling his apprentice what to do yelling at him the whole time like it was a training session and left saying he's be back to do the rest leaving my tub still clogged. I checked out the reviews for this place prior to calling Olson's and really liked what I read. I called them they were able to schedule a few days out since I was going out of town.
Marcos and Emily showed up on time as scheduled, they incredibly nice and very professional. Marcos told me what things to look out for and basically gave me some great tips. Our family had been using a long-time plumber but we ran into a large issue that our plumber could no longer handle due to age. So we set out to find a new plumber that we could trust. One of our main criteria was that we did not want to work with a large plumbing company who contracts plumbers. We searched Yelp and found Olson's Plumbing. Paul was great. He called to notify us when he was going to be 1 hour late. After checking out the massive water leak we had in our ceiling, he explained the problem and repaired it perfectly. Not only that, but Paul went above and beyond when he saw that our heating vent system was not connected and repaired it for no additional charge. I recommend Paul 100% and will be using him as our plumber from now on.

I really don't like leaving reviews like this. I was just not going to leave anything, but then I felt like it was bad karma on my part to let other innocent people use this plumber and find themselves in trouble. I'll be fair. That are responsive to your calls. And they are clean. And they are courteous. However, we've had them come out three times (each visit costing over $300.00) with disappointing and costly results. First visit was to clear a drain. Turned out they only pushed the clog further down the line. When we tried using a less-used bathtub, we ended up with flooding on our ground floor from two sinks. They were curt in the response to this issue saying they only warranty work for 30 days. But before we had this flooding and the nasty phone call, we had them out again (not knowing they had created problems waiting for us to discover). In this second visit they installed a faucet that began leaking from the base mount within three days. We could not figure out where the water came from at first. So we tried various tactics, nothing working. Then we had them out again to troubleshoot, but they decided to overlook their own shoddy work and instead claim they didn't know where the water came from, and recommended we seal our counters. Of course, over time, this worsened and they won't cover their work yet again. So they've gotten away with nearly a thousand bucks from us, created more problems, and refused to address the issues they created. Buyer beware.

We needed our master shower drain snaked and a old guest bathroom shower arm replaced. My husband spoke with Marco to get an estimate, and as their prices were very fair and they had good reviews, we decided to move forward with an appointment. Had to call on a Saturday at noon for a leaking pipe. Luckily Paul was available. Showed up at the agreed upon time. Assessed the situation for the leaks and got to work.

Paul was a pleasant guy with good knowledge. Worked carefully.

Leaks were fixed in 2 hours. I was happy to take a shower with hot water that day.

Price was ok for short notice and a Saturday. All the other plumbers I called either would not come out or would not return phone calls.

I called Marco Thursday night and he was able to arrange something Saturday morning to snake our severly clogged masters' bathroom. He diagnosed the problem quickly over the phone after hearing my layman description, and it was exactly that. Instead of going the more expensive route to fix the issue, he saved us money by trying to snake down the shower drain. He fixed the issue in what felt like 10 minutes, gave us a 30-day warranty, and even helped us with our toilet flapper/float thingamajig for free. Of course, we gave him a tip. Highly recommend--punctual, effective, and good pricing.

We were in trouble with our kitchen sink drain and knew it was not a simple clogged line as it was leaking from inside the wall through the stucco outside. These guys are awesome! I accidentally knocked a deodorant stick off the counter into the toilet as it was flushing. I made a frantic call just before closing time hoping to get assistance given only there is only one toilet in the house. I was told they would get me on the schedule within hours, and they arrived just before 7PM and took care of the issue. The plumbers were funny, kind and quick with the work, and I am so grateful! We have been using Olson's plumbing for the past 18 years. They are honest, reliable, and stand by their work. Last week I discovered we had a slab leak. I called and learned Paul decided to take his first vacation in 20 years (well deserved). I was a little hesitant to do an entire re-pipe in his absence, but his brother took care of it. In fact, it was done in one day. I'll never forget our first time blindly calling around for a plumber. Paul came out late at night in the pouring rain with his daughter to help us out with a drain issue!!!

Paul repaired a leaking bathroom sink that had been jury rigged with a dishwasher hose by a previous plumber. He replaced the faulty unit with the correct equipment and cleaned out the plugged-up drain. Paul is a nice guy who arrived on time and left my sink cleaner than before he arrived.
