I had North County Water Heater Services replace my water heater that was on its last legs. They arrived on time and texted when they were arriving. The water heater installation was excellent, completed in a timely manner, and at a good price. Plamen (owner) and his son performed the work while abiding with COVID precautions and walked me through the operation of the new heater at the completion of the installation.
If you need to replace your water heater, Plamen is your man. Professional, reliable, easy to communicate with. Came at 9AM next morning, left at 10AM with brand new water heater installed. Don't go elsewhere, can't do better than Plamen and his company.

Had minor emergency repair of leaky supply line to the water heater. Call was taken right away on a Saturday afternoon. After a quick phone call I forwarded over a pic of the problem and was given quote. Within 15 min. the serviceman was at my door and ready to tackle the problem. Wow, these reviews were spot on. My water heater was gurgling and overflowing last night so I decided to write these guys through yelp. Received a response within minutes as well as a price estimate. Got the appointment for early this morning. They were on time, friendly and hard working. And it's awesome that they are a father son team! Thanks guys!

Plamen said he could come in less than two hours. He came earlier than quoted. He identified the problem and had the part. He also let me know the part was under warranty. I just paid for the labor and the call.

Got home late yesterday afternoon and discovered water on the garage floor. My old water heater finally died. I called North County Water Heater and they texted me back in about a minute. They asked for the size of the water heater and a quick picture and gave me an immediate quote which included removing the old water heater. I arranged for them to come today between 10 and 11 am which they did right after texting me at 10 to tell me when they would arrive. Anyway the whole installation and removal took less than 1 1/2 hours. The best part is they did not try to up sell me on anything. I highly recommend them.
After a major company arranged through Home Depot left me hanging for a whole afternoon and evening, called to delay their appointment, then didn't show up at all without so much as a phone call, I put in an online request at 10 pm to NCWHS. They called me at 7:30 the next morning, quoted a better price, and arranged for a technician to come at 1:00.
Plamen showed up exactly on time with everything he needed. He did a top notch, professional job, and was done in two hours as promised. This is what customer service is all about and I will use them again in the future, though I hope not for the same reason. Really, I was most impressed.
I've had 2 issues with my water heater leaking in different places in the last couple of years, and both times Plamen has fixed them the same day, in a short amount of time and for a very reasonable rate. I called in the morning and he was able to come over just a couple hours later on a Saturday, fixed the issue in maybe 10 minutes and charge was very reasonable. Nice guy too and cleans the place up afterward. If you have any issues with a water heater or need a new one this guy is great and I couldn't recommend him enough!

We needed a new water heater and thought that we had a great plumber that we had used on a number of occasions so it was a bit of a shock when the previous company, Proactive Plumbing was a zero when it came to getting back to us with an estimate or even expressing the slightest interest in our job.
Back to Yelp, where we found North County Water Heater Service. To begin with, there was an immediate estimate, not a ball park figure. Secondly, the price was reasonable and the availability was just what we needed.
The installer Plamen was responsive on every level, texting us when he was on his way and keeping with the exact time frame. The job was done to our complete satisfaction and Plamen followed up with a return visit to ensure that the expansion tank that my husband had installed had the correct pressure.
You couldn't ask for better customer service!!!
I sent a yelp email to this business on Xmas. I also sent emails to four other businesses. Plaman replied quickly and with the most reasonable price. I called today for an appointment, and he and his associate installed the new unit in a bit more than two hours. It was a very smooth operation.

He and his son were just at my house to install a new water heater. The Price he quoted was more than fair. Actually, a great price.
As he got started he said, Sir you don't need a new water heater, you just need a new hot water supply line. It's the line that is leaking.
He replaced the line and charged a small fee for the flex pipe and labor.
I'm a happy customer.
Honesty is hard to find these days.

Called North County Water Heater and Plamen quoted a price which I agreed to and he said it should be between 1-2pm TODAY. Perfect. Very happy with water heater replacement that was done. I contacted them one afternoon, they were out the next morning, which was much faster than my experience with a big box store. They were very professional, did a very neat and tidy install, even bleached mold spots caused by the water leak, and were very polite. It was a very positive experience. I would definitely use them again.
Just as the other reviews say, this father son team is the best and they come highly recommended. I've lived in this area for 60 years and have had to hire a considerable number of plumbers and hot water heater repairpersons. He does not compare - he's far and above all the others.
He was punctual, knowledgeable, efficient and very reasonable. Professional all the way around! I would be willing to give him many more than 5 stars, if I could.

I'm super impressed with North County Water Hester Services. We had planned to replace our water heater a couple years ago, but forgot and this weekend it started leaking. I called Plamen this morning at 7:30, he had a quote to me in 5 minutes, and was here just after 9:00 to get it replaced. He was very friendly and had everything taken care of in less than 2 hours.

What a Friday night! Our water heater decided Friday night was a perfect time to blow out; had a nice steady stream of warm water free flowing through the garage. Fortunately, Saturday morning I got a hold of Plamen and explained we needed a replacement as quickly as possible. Normally that's a day or two out...how about by 11:00am Saturday morning!! Plamen and his son were there on time and done in just over an hour and a half. Brand new water heater installed, with current coded parts in place and secured. Our water heater went out, found North County Water Heater Services on yelp and they were able to come out the next morning. Priced very competitive, gave me a couple options and explained each one. He was very professional and got the job done quick and again explained the new water heater functions. I mentioned I was going to reroute my drain line to go outside and he said he'd do it. Great service, great price, great equipment, wonderful warranty. I called him at 8:30, recieved a verbal quote over the phone, and booked him for an installation at 2:00PM. He texted me at about 1:50 to tell me he was enroute, then texted again at 2:00 to tell me he was in my driveway. He was very personable, and again explained the service and the cost to me. We shook hands, and he started the job. He and his equipment were clean and well organized. He showed the utmost concern for my property, did the installation in less than two hours and cleaned the area up to a level I have ever experienced from any tradesman. He explained the functions of the device to me, explained his extended warranty, shook my hand and left. He was probably the best serviceman I have ever worked with in any trade, and I have built a number of custom homes. I would reccommend him to anybody and everybody. Called Water Heater Online on Sunday due to a leak in my water heater, Plamen came to have it replaced the next day. Job done professionally and no time wasted. Very pleased with the installation.
Noticed a slow drip from the drain valve on our old 2009, 50 gallon water heater. After researching on NextDoor App and Yelp, found Plamen with North County Water Heater, who was highly recommended . Called & left a message and received a call back within 10 minutes. After a brief conversation about our issue, Plamen stated he was available to come by same day. I texted him pictures of our leaky dinosaur and less than an hour later, he arrived with a brand new replacement. He was extremely pleasant and even offered to repair the drain valve instead of replacing the whole unit but due to it's age, we knew it was time for an upgrade. Cost was reasonable, communication via text was convenient and install was about 75 minutes. Thankful we caught the leak before it turned into something more serious and thankful to Plamen for a great experience!
Getting my new water heater from NC Water Heater Services was honestly the best interaction I've ever had with a home/appliance contractor. Fast response time, fair price, and the beautiful work he did on installing it made me realize what a crappy job the last guy did on the old one. Yes, I just called a water heater beautiful.
I called on a Tuesday, my water heater was replaced early Wednesday morning. He texted me 30 minutes to arrival and came wearing a mask. His price was very competitive and he cleaned up the area where my old heater had been leaking, put bleach on it and put a large drip pan under the heater if heaven forbid it ever happens again. I found the overall level of service was excellent.
Plamen was great. Sent a quick response on a Sunday, came the next day and was professional, honest and courteous.

Water heater stopped working Friday night called at 8am Saturday morning they picked up right away and were at my house in 45m. I believe the gentleman's name was Plaven he explained there was a small leak that put the pilot light out and it needed to be replaced he gave me a quote which seemed pretty low. I asked about a 10yr warranty unit he gave me the installed price seemed great so had the work done. He was in and out in about 2 hours or so unit works great super fast service couldn't ask for better. If your around San Marcos, Carlsbad area and need a water heater quick I highly recommend these guys.

North County Water Heater Services was terrific to work with. They had someone stop by to verify the gallon size (75 gallon) with no trip fee, then scheduled the service for the next business day. The installer was on time, very courteous and professional and even helped me move a heavy workbench back into place. They were also $600 better priced than another plumber who is great but does not specialize in water heaters. Highly recommend for my neighbors in San Elijo Hills.
Excellent service. I found out my water heater was leaking on Sunday evening. I called at 7:00 am on Monday morning and Plamen arrived at 8:15 am to give me a quote and returned at 10:00 am to install the new water heater. He and his partner were done by 10:50 am which was great because I left for vacation at 11:00 am for the week. It was exactly what I needed. He was professional and did great work. Excellent plumber. I bought a groupon from this Company to install a new garbage disposal. He was clean, through and knowable about his work. He even checked my water pressure. Then over New Years I got the cap to a dawn dish soap jammed into the garbage disposal and I was unable to get the whole thing out. I called North County Water Heater explained they had installed my garbage disposal and now it was locked up. He came out within two hours of the call unstuck the garbage disposal and did it for free. Awesome Company. I will call on them for sure then next time I have a plumbing problem.

Water heat broke last night and contact North County Water Heater Services early this morning (a Sunday, Mother's day). Plamen quickly returned the inquiry with a quote. He was on site 30 minutes later and replaced the water heater in about an hour. Everything goes well as planned. Highly recommended!
I admit it was the views on Yelp that made me call Plamen Braykov at NCWH and everything that is said here is the absolute truth. Unlike most repair time estimates he called several hours early to say he was available then. He came in and explained what needed to be done and then did the job very quickly. He even said he could use some parts again and I could take the new parts back to Home Depot for a refund. Then he cleaned the area up better than when he arrived. I will use no one else again ever.
I've noticed my water heater started to leak from the bottom on Sunday night which started my search on Yelp for a reputable plumber to install a new one. Pouring over multiple quotes and responses, I've selected North County Water Heater Services. They weren't the cheapest but not the most expensive however reasonable. He was available the following day which was perfect because cold showers kinda suck.
Plamen was on time, provided good communication, and was diligent in getting the unit professionally installed. I appreciate the attention to detail and pride in his work. I can recommend Plamen if you want a water heater installed properly.

My hot water heater died yesterday and soaked my garage. I found North County Water Heater Services and decided to take a chance on them since I knew nothing about them. They were able to show up at my house within two hours and begin work. They are professional, friendly, and their work second to none. I cannot express how happy I am with the work that they did for me. If you need your hot water heater replaced, I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed. Compared to several other companies I had called their prices were the most reasonable of all which was a bonus.

The father son team arrived less than 90 minutes after I initially contacted them about replacing my 15 year old water heater. They were very polite and respectful. They both wore masks and were aware of their distancing during these COVID times.
They installed our new Bradford White 50 gallon heater in a snap and did a very clean job of installing it. They guys also cleaned up after themselves and hauled out and away our old water heater.
I'd definitely call on NC Water Heater Services again if needed for my other properties.

After doing a through review of Yelp/Google/Next door reviews I gave Plamen a call to inspect my 10+ year old Water heater that was leaking and likely needed replacing. He answered my call straight away. After reviewing the issue over the phone via texts/pictures, he gave me a quote to replace the heater (thankfully better than I expected) and promised he'd be there first thing the next morning...maybe later that day. Well I was pleasantly surprised when he squeezed me in later that same day. He and his son came over - fully masked up, and replaced my unit with no issues at all and left the area cleaner than it was when he started. Hopefully I don't have to use him again for another 10 years !!... but I highly recommend him to others.

I think north county water heater service and water heater online website is operated by same company. My 11yrs old Bradford white was leaking a bit from the top. It was a time to replace. I emailed them for quote on 40 Gallon energy efficient water heater (for SDG&E $100 rebate). $699 for Bradford EF 0.62 unit including professional installation upto code and removal of old tank.
I got it next day. Plamen installed in 1 hour. After rebate it will be $599. Hope it last 10+ years. Great workmanship!!
Plamen is extremely professional, courteous, and does a first rate job! He even found an old 5 dollar bill I had lost in our laundry room and left it on the dryer. That's as honest as it gets, and the new water heater is fantastic!

Called first thing in the morning, discussed options for 75 gallon water heater replacement at my house as mine was 15 years old which was 3 years beyond the 12 year warranty and starting to go out (pilot light problems and small leak). I was interested in a replacement unit that had a longer warranty than standard 6 year warranty. They called their suppliers and found it and advised me they could get a Rheem unit with 12 year warranty for only a couple of hundred bucks more. I agreed and they installed it same day. Total installed price was competitive with others I looked at.
This is a small family owned business. Plamen did the install while Kristina runs the office and phone. Job site was my garage which was left clean when done. I checked on the progress a couple of times while it was going on and Plamen took the time to explain his work and answer my questions. When all was done he walked me through the operation of the unit and gave me the warranty paperwork and the manual. Overall, I am satisfied and would use them again.

Saturday morning, woke up to a leak in my garage only to find out it was coming from my water heater. Scrambling to find Water Heater repairs throughout North County. No one was able to come fix, let alone look at the issue before Monday and quotes to replace the water heater were through the roof. Found North County Water Heater, these guys weren't only able to come out within a few hours, the price to replace the water heater was extremely reasonable. Fast and reliable... you can't beat that. Woke up this morning to a leaking water heater. Called north county water heater from reviews here on Yelp . Plamen was here within 30 minutes. He did an amazing job replacing my water heater. Knowledgeable and courteous , he did a great job. The price was as reasonable as it could be, being Christmas Day .The only reason I can't give the fifth star.....I was told on the phone that there would be a $30.00 charge to use a credit card . It would have been much more convenient for me to pay with a card, especially this time of year! Also he handed me a business card that says 10% off first time service, which he wouldn't honor even though this is the first time I've used them.
Plamen and his son were able to replace our old noisy water heater the same day I called. They were very professional and got to work right away. Took them only a hour and a half! Couldn't be more pleased with the service. All for a reasonable price. Go see them if you need service!

Great experience with this company! Our water heater busted on Saturday and there was a river running through our garage down our driveway! We called 3 companies to come out as soon as possible and these guys were the only ones who answered the phone. They came out within a couple of hours for a temporary fix until they could replace the entire unit on Monday morning. We initially made our appointment for 8:00am but had to change it to 8:45 the night before and Plamen was very accommodating. Showed up exactly on time! He was very efficient and we are very happy to have our hot showers back!

Just had the opportunity to use Plamen again today as our toilet would not stop running.
We called at 2:30 and by 3:30 he was at our house and had the parts with him needed to fix the toilet.
I highly recommend him and intend to call him every time we have a plumbing issue.

We woke up to a leaking water heater this morning. I called around for prices and my friend gave me the name of a company she used, called North County Water Heater Service AKA Water Heater Online 760 216-1181. Plamen came out within an hour. He was fantastic! Clean, fast, great price (hundred less than other local companies) along with a warranty. He even hauled away the old water heater and cleaned up the mess in my garage. He showed us all the details of how to turn the pilot light on and off, how to turn it to vacation mode when away, and how to shut the water off or in emergencies like today. He was very friendly and professional. I hope you don't have water heater problems but if you do, I would recommend you give them a try. 5 stars!!!
It is so refreshing to find a company that actually responds AND does quality work. I initially contacted a few other companies, but soooo glad that I followed my instincts and went with North County Water Heater! I communicated with them to get the appt set up, but my tenant was the one who interacted with them on the day of the job. She only had great things to say about them and said they did a great job with clean up too! I would definitely use them again!
North County water heat did a great job. This is the second time we called them for a 16 year old water heater. The first time, luckily, was just for a pilot light that was out. He fixed that no problem and we got 2 more years out of the water heater.

I noticed water leaking about 2 pm in the afternoon and Plamen was out at my house by about 4:15pm to hook up my new water heater. We knew we were going to call him because a few years ago we had him out and appreciated his honesty with us! Today was no different. I needed a water heater replaced, unplanned of course. I talked with 3 different plumbers and NCWH was the best overall. I sent a picture of my water heater and set an appointment. Confirmation came back on the replacement water heater and estimated price. They were very clear on what they were providing and the cost, I appreciated that. Overall Plamen was nice. However nice didn't fix the water heater. Sent pictures diagnosed as bad thermal coupler. He fast and prompt. He replaced the thermal coupler and put all together. It works maybe 20 secs shut off. His solution to me was buy new water heater or call the manufacture to get information so assume he thinks I capable of understanding it and fixing it myself. So don't have hot water heater North County water heaters is incapable of fixing the issue. I thought that is what I pay him for. He failed

Plamen and Chris did a great job installing a new tankless water heater for me! They took away my old water heater (which was huge and took quite a bit of work getting it out of my very small closet), and installed the new tankless heater, making sure to do all the little extras to bring it up to code! It works great and there have been ZERO PROBLEMS!

I checked Yelp to learn about this company. I called later afternoon Saturday and they were able to come out Sunday morning to replace my water heater. Pricess were right on with the four others I called. They were fast, friendly, and VERY professional! After installation, they gave clear and concise instructions. I'm very satisfied.
Plamen was extremely prompt after receiving a call the morning after Christmas about our water heater and he completely fixed the problem. We are happy with his service!
We had no hot water and after calling a number of different companies (who couldn't see us for days) I heard back from Plamen. Plamen very quick to respond to my voicemail, he called within 15 minutes and was able to work around my school pick up schedule and his quote was on point. He had an appointment scheduled a little later that afternoon but was able to fit me about 2 hours after speaking with him (he even waited in my driveway until I got home from school pick up). My daughters hot water heater went out on a Saturday night. I called one place they gave me a quote and told me the had water heaters on their truck. I arranged for them to come out Sunday morning (at no additional cost). The showed up late started adding material cost to the quote made a call to find out they had no electric water heater in stock and if they found one it would be an additional $100.00. I sent them away. I called NCWH on Sunday and spoke to Playmen Braykov. I gave him the details and the materials needed he gave me a price promised to be there at 7:00 Monday morning with the heater and would finish in a few hours He texted me at 6:41 to inform he would be there at 7:00. He was there at 6:55 had the heater on his truck and was in and out in no time and a job well done. Its really hard to beat that and on top of all of that, it he was a nice guy.

We are big fans of NCWH after Plamen replaced our aging power vent heater today. I called him after getting a positive recommendation from our friends, who also had their heater replaced by him. Because the power vent was a pricey replacement and to satisfy the homeowner, we got a few quotes and NCWH was the most fair. But the selling point for me was Plamen--just a cool guy who is prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. The replacement time only took a little over 2 hours AND he left our garage very clean, which I truly appreciated. You can just tell a professional's work. I absolutely recommend him!!
On the night before Christmas Eve, my mother's water heater began to leak. Christmas dinner was scheduled at her house and her warranty company said they could fix it on January 3rd. This is my 3rd encounter with Plamen. He replaced my water heater many years ago at my condo and that water heater is still in place. Last year, I contacted Plamen again for his advice for our house water heater. We have a new build but our neighbors mentioned that they had to replace their water heater due to a burst. I was texting back and forth with Plamen and he was honest about when to replace our water heater. He mentioned that if there are no leaks then to purchase an alarm for now. So that's what we did.
Fast forward a year later, our water heater wasn't producing warm water. Since our water heater is 9 years old and close to the 10 year mark, we decided to replace the entire unit vs fixing one component.
I texted Plamen around 730am and Plamen was working on installing our water heater by 11am. It took him about 90 mins for the install. He was fast and professional. Very nice and answered all my questions. We are lucky to get the replacement quickly so that the kids wouldn't have to endure cold baths when they came home!
I can't recommend this business enough. I would def use Plamen again and refer him to anyone needed a new water heater or needs an honest opinion.

Last year we used Plamen for a water heater venting fix when we sold our house. Now when we purchased a new home, new sinks were installed and all of them needed to be replumbed. A defective faucet brings new opportunities. In January I purchased a new kitchen faucet from Costco. At the time reviewers on Costco site had generally good things to say about the faucet. NCWHS professionally installed the new faucet in February. My wife and I loved the faucet the first few months but then gradually the water flow began to decrease. By September the decreased water flow was frustrating. I returned to the Costco website to see where I may have erred. Ah hah, recent reviews of this faucet were scathing documenting decreased water flow. Reviewers had returned the faucet to Costco for credit and then purchased a different model. I did the same and purchased a better faucet at Costco.
Hey, but here was my opportunity to again utilize NCWHS and Plamen! I texted Plamen and we were quickly able to set a time the following day for service. Plamen again texted me when he was on the way to my home. This time I was ready and had towels near the sink for use! Plamen arrived and as always promptly went to work. He removed the old faucet and water lines and then installed new lines and hardware. Plamen asked me where we would like the faucet handle positioned as this model offered flexibility. In no time the job was professionally completed, the space cleaned and Plamen was ready to depart. NCWHS invoice price was very reasonable and way below what other professional plumbers would charge. I am so happy to have NCWHS and Plamen as our Go To plumbing service! My wife and I also love our new kitchen faucet.
My water heater decided to fail and leak at 2pm on a Sunday, and I had a business trip the following week so I called up North County Water Heater Services and they arrived within 1 hr to replace my water heater. Plamen and his assistant were professional and their work quality. No corners were cut and they answered all my questions about the process. Definitely recommend their services!
If you need work done on a water heater this is your guy. I asked around and was quoted twice the price but decided to get a second opinion and north county water heater responded right away with a no nonsense fair price (half the first quote). After another plumber scheduled me a week out for a service call I called Plamen based on Yelp reviews. He showed up the same day (Saturday afternoon), quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what caused it and offered options for resolving. Unfortunately I needed to replace the heater which he scheduled for first thing Monday morning. Easiest service call ever and a fair price. Nice guy too. I would definitely recommend him.
Our hot water heater broke over the weekend. Plamen was there at 8 am sharp - Monday after Father's Day. He called in advance to remind he was coming- always a good sign. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. He replaced the hot water heater with a quality efficient American made product. In the process he diagnosed and fixed two problems - a venting issue and a rotting copper pipe. He also included a tray under the hot water heater and pvc pipe so if the heater leaks the water will go on the garage floor instead of under the heater stand that is dry walled ; he also used bleached on the area under the hot water heater before installing the new heater; these are the little things that can make a big difference . Great experience ; highly recommended!

Plamen came out to diagnose why it was taking minutes to get hot water. He figured out the problem, took the time( over a half hour) to eliminate the problem by bringing in a pump and long hose and clearing a line of air bubbles, inspected our 13 yr. old water heater for future problems, and never mentioned trying to sell me a new water heater until I inquired. Refreshing!!! As he was leaving, I of course ask what I owed him, Nothing, its just a free estimate. Really? Amazing. If and when we need a new water heater, you can guess who I'm going to call... And so should you.

I have called around to get the quotes to replace my 11 years old water heater. I called the NC Water Heater Services as a friend recommend.

He arrives on time (actually a bit early) to meet me at HD and we on our way to my property.
Plamen really knows what he doing, seriously! He replaces all of the old traps, pipe, etc. new water tray/pan. Since I previously don't have the water tray. So, he drilled and make new pipe drainage for it. Free of charge.

We were moving to a new home and the current water heater needed replacement. I contacted several companies, but most were trying to up-sell me on their services and expensive equipment.

This company [one man show?] was contacted at roughly 11:30 AM and was able to replace my hot water heater the same day. - He gets credit for that.
He committed to showing up at 1:30 PM and he showed up a few minutes early. -He gets a credit for being punctual.
He also quoted a very fair price over the phone, no games. It was a total out the door price that was cheaper than most of his competition. -This is where he scores the most points of all in my opinion.
He went to work right away and was done in a few hours with replacing my hot water heater. The price he quoted over the phone was the exact same price I paid, No surprises.-He also gets credit for this.
Reviewing his work, from what I can tell, the workmanship is great. He used top quality products and did not skimp or cut corners. He followed building codes and upgraded where necessary..-he also gets full credit for this.

Added a new pipe & overflow reservoir which I was not expecting.
Also added a on/off water valve to turn off water so I do not
have to turn off the water from the main water valve.
Added an alarm to detect any water leakage and added a water
tray so water will not leak all over the floor.

My parent's water heater flooded and needed to be replaced a few months ago. I live in Los Angeles but my parents don't speak English very well, so I was charged with the task of finding a person that could help, remotely. Yelp recommended NCWHS, and so I gave the company a call. I spoke to a man named Plamen, and he assured me that he would be able to get to the property asap to provide a quote. Compared to others, his price was fair, so we asked him to proceed with the replacement and my parents had hot water in no time.
Unfortunately, things don't always go as planned, and upon replacement of the heater, every faucet in the house would only release extremely hot water - no cold water available. Given that this happened as soon as the water heater was replaced, my parents and I assumed that it was the result of a faulty water heater and/or an incorrect installation.
Keep in mind, none of us know anything about water heaters or plumbing, so we called Plamen to ask for his insight. He came out again and advised that the problem was unrelated and had to do with a broken valve in the shower. Perhaps the new water heater, brand new and capable of producing scorching hot water was enough to decommission a valve that was at least a couple decades old by that time. Who knows? I was hearing this remote from another city, so I don't know all of the details. We hired a handy man to correct the problem that Plamen diagnosed and now the water is back to normal, more or less.
The bottom line is Plamen proved to be dependable, honest and competent. I am very glad I came across him and would recommend him to anyone.

I had just noticed my water heater was leaking and I'm not sure how long it's been doing that. So, I wanted to get it replaced before it became an even bigger problem. Plamen responded to my quote request right away and provided a good rate and was available the soonest. He was able to come and check if I needed replacement or repair. He recommended replacement and was able to replace my heater on the same day I contacted him! He was very pleasant and did not leave a mess. He took care of draining my water heater, providing parts so I didn't have to get them myself and disposed of the old water heater. As a Realtor in North SD Co, it seems most home inspectors note something re the water heater and suggests it be looked by a specialist. A client actually referred me to Plamen a couple of years ago & he has been my go to guy ever since. He's very dependable & arrives to home in a very timely fashion. His rates for repairs seem incredibly reasonable too. Finally, Plamen is very a really friendly guy and I wouldn't consider anyone else.
My water heater broke overnight, and I contacted Plamen at 7am, and by 9am they were installing the new unit. Done by lunch and we have hot water. It's a large unit for a large house and it didn't slow them down. Fast, professional, friendly and did a good job. Highly recommended.

I was referred by a friend of mine who used Plamen to replace her water heater. My water heater was leaking water in my garage everywhere! It is hot where I live so it caused the garage to be humid and gross.
I called Plamen and he gave me a quote and flat rate no other surprise fees. I took pictures and showed him the tank I had and was told that it was a more powerful vent and would cost more. At this point I thought to myself, I got the bait and switch. Fortunately my friend is a plumber and does this for a living but he lives in Hawaii so he couldn't help. I show my friend the pictures and tell him the new quote and he said that it is correct and I was given a fair price. I did shop around and Plamen by far had the best price and he was able to come to my place the very next day. I live in Santee and he said he can come to that area so it was great. Plamen and his son did a great job and helped to dump the water in the bucket that was full and helped mopped up the water in my garage. Really great service and price. Highly recommended!!! I requested a quote at 9pm at night for a new water heater and they were able to schedule us the next day. Plamen was running late due to heavy schedule, but gave me a call in hour advance to let me know when he was arriving. The installation only took 1 hr from start to finish. We paid $799 for a 50gal water heater as quoted, which was at least $200 less than the other places. I am impressed with their professionalism and customer service. North County Water Heater Services replaced my 75 gal water heater with a 240a Navien tankless heater. Plamen Braykov came out to take a look, sent me a quote immediately and scheduled a a time that worked best for me. The conversion was very clean and so far we really enjoy the unit. Other services (all with high reviews) estimated 350 bucks or more to flush my tankless water heater. NC Water Heater beat all of these prices by more than half. I scheduled my apt via yelp and email and it was super fast. I will be using them for my water heater needs from now on.

Palmer was the first to quote amongst few companies I shopped around, and price was reasonable.
He and his colleague (son?) came the next day morning and did the job. I do appreciate the details they paid attentions to and am very satisfied with the task.

Got home one day and noticed the water heater leaking. Thought great.. who do you call for this? Checked around and was surprised by pricing , finally came to North County Water Heater Services, read reviews ano decided to call. This company had the most reasonable pricing. Plamen came out same day, completed the job in a couple of hours. He is very courteous, cleaned up after himself and went over instructions at the end. I like to support local small business and these guys did a great job.

This company was very responsive and did a great job replacing our hot water heater. We called for a quote on Wednesday at 4:00 and they were at our house in Fallbrook at 8:00 the next day. The water heater they replaced was inside a cabinet with a big steel post in front of it to protect it from cars in the garage. Despite these obstacles they were able to quickly remove the old and install the new without incident. They completed the job and were gone by 9:30----all for the quoted price which was very competitive.

Replacing a large capacity WH is not cheap $o my expectation for getting a reputable high quality product & a service provider with honesty & integrity within the entire experience, is always a point of measure for me, especially as a predictor for after service should I need it. After SDG&E visited our house and determined that the pilot light on our water heater couldn't be restarted without calling someone who could repair our water heater, we felt stuck, not sure who to call. Finding North County Water Heater online turned out to be just right. They were incredibly prompt all the way through -- from answering our first call to scheduling a visit the next morning and then, once Vladimir determined that a new controler had to be ordered, getting the part and fixing the water heater the same day. Given the the job turned out to be complicated, the price charged was probably below going rates and the service top notch all the way. Vladimir was excellent from start to finish and the cost was more than fair.
Great work. I had a water heater leaking over my garage and he came out within 20 minutes of me calling him to fix it and for a very good price.

Woke up to what sounded like rain inside my garage. One of the hoses connected to my water heater had sprung a leak and was spraying water up into the roof beams which were then dripping onto the floor. Needless to say, a mess. Plamen responded quickly to my request for a quote and was able to fit me in that morning. Great service at a fair price. Couldn't ask for more from a plumber!
We discovered we had no hot water and a leaking water heater after 9pm, and was a bit concerned about getting anyone here this close to thanksgiving. With a little research I sent requests for quotes and to my surprise had a response that night. He asked all the right questions and I felt comfortable his quote would be correct. They were able to come out the very next day and quickly replaced our hot water heater. Plamen kept in touch throughout the day to let me know exactly when to expect them, worked quickly and efficiently, and you can't even tell they were here. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. I'm one happy customer.
Over Memorial Day weekend (on Sunday), we discovered our water heater was leaking. We called around and looked at Home Depot for a new heater. Then we called Plamen. He could come right away, his cost was reasonable and the reviews here on Yelp were terrific. Let us tell you, he deserves these positive reviews. I needed to replace our hot water heater and called Water Heater Online on the recommendation of a friend who had used them last year. From quick responses on yelp to showing up on time, they did not disappoint. Plamen and his son made quick work replacing the old with the new and their work was very clean and quick. I wish all service professionals lived up to the same standards. Would not hesitate to recommend them at all.
I got up Saturday morning to find my 2004 water heater leaking. That is not good especially when you have a 2 year old. North County Water Heater Services came to my house within 50 min to inspect. My water heater was bad and I needed a new one. I thought this would take a few days at a minimum. I had a brand new 50 gallon water heater installed within 90 min. I was thoroughly impressed by the quickness of identifying the problem and fixing it. They made a bad situation simple... thank you

Awesome experience. Found leak early morning, made call around 6:30 am (via Yelp). Prompt response and at our home by 9:00, installed by noon. What I thought would be at least a 36 hour 'no hot water situation turned into a few short hours of inconvenience. Not bad at all considering the situation. Plus, they charged a fair price. I highly recommend North County Water Heater Services.
Plamer is very nice and professional. He came out same day I called to replace my water pressure regulator. Two of my toilet made some noise due to water pressure. He came back the next day to replace some parts inside the toilet tanks to get rid of the noise.....free of charge. He's a honest contractor that's hard to find. I would use his service again and recommend him to anyone.
Called late Thurs evening. Received service by 11:00 the next morning including picking up my new purchased WH at my local Home Depot. Service provider was quick and efficient and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
I noticed late yesterday that there a bunch of water outside my water heater. I put out inquiries on Yelp, and Plaman called within minutes, agreed to come by first thing in the morning. He just came by, diagnosed a leaking pipe that needed replacing, and did so for very modest price. This was compared to another top-rate business that wanted $500 charge just to come out on the weekend, in addition to a new water heater. i highly recommend this guy, i couldn't ask for better!
We had a great experience with North County Water Heater services. Within an hour of us realizing our heater was leaking all over the garage, and within 30 minutes of us calling, they were here, replacing it! We feel the price was reasonable, and Plamen was courteous and efficient and even went above and beyond by wiping down the wet area with bleach to prevent mold and placing a pan with pipe to the outside so it won't flood our garage again. He even replaced the broken water shut off valve and badly corroded pipe for us. He also hauled away the old water heater. This was overall a really great experience and I would 100% recommend this company.
Plamen has done work for us and friends for a couple years now. He took care of a plumbing issue at our rental property yesterday and put in a new water heater at our current house today, Tuesday. Extremely efficient, reliable, reasonable and pleasant to work with. I would recommend/trust him to do work for my mom (and that's about as high of a recommendation as there is).
Our home inspector said that our water heater wasn't to code. It needed an expansion tank installed and a drip tray. Great service. We received a recommendation from our neighbors after finding that half of our garage floor had water and a leak on the bottom of our water heater. We called Saturday morning and they were able to come within an hour with 2 different water heaters ready to install. Pleman checked out the leak but we already knew we needed a new one. He installed the new water heater and even added some piping so any future leaks would exit the closet where the water heater was located so that we can see any future leaks sooner than later. He did a great job and was done in less than 3 hours. Price was fair and the quality and timeliness was amazing! Would highly recommend this company.
By far the best company I've ever hired to install a new water heater.
The 6-Star experience started with Christina in the office. She helped me to correctly shut down my old water heater that started leaking.
Next she have me the model # of the 75-Gallon Bradford White water heater they proposed to install. She explained why it was a better option than some of the other popular brands. Some brands have to send out their parts and you can go days without a water heater, but with Bradford White the parts are carried in local stores/supply houses.
She gave me a quote over the phone (several of the other companies I called refused to do this as they wanted to come out to my house and then give me a bid).
The owner and his son (Plamen and Chris) arrived right on time. They immediately went to work. Plamen works fast and with precision. Chris has a great attitude and really helps his dad work at a fast pace.
Plamen found several mistakes that were made by the plumber who installed my last water heater and he fixed those with no extra charge.
Plamen completed replaced all piping of every type and installed new shut off valves. The entire job took about 2-hours and it was done with precision and very high quality.
At the end of the work, Plamen explained every part of the water heater and gave me suggestions on actions to take when on vacation, each year and each 3-4 yrs.
Anyone I come across that needs a water heater I will be encouraging them to use North County Water Heater.
I called around at least 10 places for a water heater that started leaking. I couldn't understand how the price of the exact same water heater with installation could vary so much.
I had one quote me a competitive price over the phone, but when the tech arrived, the price doubled.
On the other hand, NC Water Heater Services gave me a price, was completely transparent about the need, got it done quickly, and charged me EXACTLY what they estimated.
I got a recommendation for Plamen's company via a 3-degree of separation, after my 20 yrs. old 40 gal. heater started leaking.
I'm so glad I held off on other bids, Or other folks who would not give me an estimate unless they came to the house. Anyways and his son Chris showed up right on time, took care of business within 2 hrs. showed me all the up to code niceties of their incredibly professional work.

He was at our house within 10-15 minutes of calling, and charged $54 for fixing a plumbing problem on a SATURDAY NIGHT! Courteous, professional, wears shoe covers in the house, had our address on file from a previous visit to install a water heater. We will definitely be calling him for future plumbing needs.
We had a problem with water heater and Plamen was able to come over that afternoon.
A half hour after installation the new Bradford & White water heater did not function. Plamen turned back immediately on late Friday afternoon to see what the problem was. The electronic control mechanism would not work properly. Plamen offered to come back Saturday or Sunday to replace the bad part. Eventually fixed on Monday morning.
Despite the extra work there were no extra charge, and Plamen communicated well with us throughout the whole process. Highly recommend.

I noticed for sometime that when I ran the bathtub the water looked tan. Asked around and was told probably our hot water heater was on its last legs. Well I decided that must be the problem since it was 16 years old. Researched buying the hot water heater ourselves and then having it installed or having a company doing the complete job. After getting several quotes we chose North County Water Heater Services. They were available to do the work, explained things about the purchase and installation to me and had the best quote. Came on time to do the work. Got it done pretty quickly. No problems. I will recommend NC Water Heater Services to anyone who asks. Turned the tub on tonight for the first time, hot clear water.

Our 10 (or so) year old hot water heater decided to finally start leaking. I called Plamen first based on his reviews here on Yelp! (fully expecting an afternoon of calling around looking for a price that made sense) - he answered immediately and was available to replace our water heater 5pm that day!
He came on time, wore a mask, brought everything he needed.
We had a new 40 gal hot water heater installed and a new metal platform + drip pan. This only took him about an hour and a half. Very impressed.
Unfortunately our house water was gassy for the next two weeks, but Plamen didn't leave us hanging. He checked in via text every couple days, and came back twice to install/change equipment to resolve the issue.
It's now been a week since his last visit and we couldn't be happier.
Will recommend Plamen to everyone in my neighborhood.

Wow! Used Yelp to find them at 2:30 pm. The only 5 star rated in my search list-- with 170+ reviews. After a quick online quote, Plamen arrived at 3:30 pm and was done by 5:30 pm. He had new water heaters already on his truck to accomplish this. He was 30% less expensive than others and more responsive than I could have imagined. This company has set a new standard for service in my book.
They truly deserve a 5 star rating.

We had singing pipes and pressure regulator needed to be replaced. We contacted a couple of places that have good reviews. We wanted to get it done ASAP and this company was the one available the next day between 9 and 11am so we went with them. At around 8:30 the next day, I received a text from Plamen letting me know that the he is on his way so he'll be arriving at around 9am. He did a fantastic job! And the price is very reasonable. Never in a million years did I think I would find a water heater sexy - maybe it's because I'm in my 30s or maybe it's because it's an expensive homeowners investment - but here we are!
Noticed Friday night that our water heater was leaking, so we turned it off. Our previous water heater company said the leak was irreparable and needed a new water heater. I called North County Water Heater Services Saturday afternoon after calling two other companies who quoted me higher prices - one didn't even give me an exact quote and gave me a range. North County Water Heater Services had the least expensive quote AND all the same warranties (plus the great reviews I saw on Yelp).
They came out first thing Monday morning. They gave a window of 9-11AM, called with a 30 minute heads up, and arrived at 9:03AM. I mean, I was expecting them to show up at 11AM or later based on other companies, so I was pleasantly surprised.
They were able to do the job in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Very nice, respectful, answered my questions. When it came time for payment, they charged exactly what I was quoted. No BS, bait and switch, or games.
I hope I don't have to fix my water heater any time in the near future, but I was very pleased with this company and would go back to them when the time comes.
Plamen and his son replaced our 12 year old gas water heater. They were very responsive, transparent, and did a great job working within the tight space housing our water heater. I would definitely recommend them for your water heater needs.

I discovered that my garage floor was leaking last night. It's not what any homeowner wants to discover, especially with a family all at home these days!
