If we are working by the hour, by customer request, you can be assured you will receive honest hard work for your dollar. We are always on time and will accommodate customers' work schedules. As for the commercial experience, NIR Plumbing has completed over fifty restaurants since 2004 (NIR Plumbing birth date). We have been ahead of schedule on all work contracted; and have put great working plumbing systems in place. They have been very efficient to date. We consider ourselves a full service shop offering Leak Detection, Drain Camera Work, Line Tracing, and Clearing of Stoppages. We are open 7 days a week and most holidays, at no extra cost. We appreciate our customers, with great discounts of 25% to 40% off labor during slow seasons. We do charity work for some of our senior citizens and also offer payment plans with no interest to our seniors.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I conceived my work ethic as a ten year old boy working in my grandparents restaurant on weekends cleaning tables and assisting customers with requests. I did that till I was 16 years old, also at 12 years, I was a news paper delivery boy and did that for a couple of years. When I was 13 and 14 I took a break on my summer vacations and worked at my uncles welding shop. As a young man I worked as my fathers apprentice(plumbing) and shortly after moved to riverside for the prospect of working as a new construction residential plumber.
I first took a year course at associated tech college an San Bernardino, to learn plumbing codes, repairs, sizing systems. From there I went to work for inland plumbing as an apprentice ,with in a year I was offered a foreman position, I was installing gas systems,drainage,venting water services and had three employees under my direction. I learned a lot those three years there and feel my plumber foundation started there.

My AC stopped working on a Friday. I called a few different places on Saturday and NIR was the only HVAC repair place able to fit me in SAME DAY (only about an hour after I called), while every other location told me I'd have to wait until after the long weekend. Nick was so helpful, promptly found the issues, and fixed them while explaining the process to me the whole time. He even did a walkthrough of my home afterwards to show me what items might cause problems in the future. I have a cool house again and couldn't be happier! As a bonus, his cost estimate over the phone was accurate too.

Had Juan working on my leaking shower faucet. Dude was quick to know what was causing the issue and how to fix it. Reasonably priced expertise. Will definitely call them for future work and highly recommend!!!
I was watering my new plant in my back yard at 8pm this evening and went to turn off the pipe....and it wouldn't turn off!! my husband and myself tried everything but it still wouldn't turn off... We immediately went to Yelp and looked for a 24 hr plumber near us. The first
one that came up was NIR Plumbing. We called NIR and Nick answered the phone. He said he would send someone over in about an hour... but they came in about 10 minutes!! Mike came and another Tech and they replaced the pipe with a nice new one.. They were fast, professional, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable! I liked them and we have found ourselves a new plumber. :)
Nick was excellent and arrived right on time even during a heat wave and pandemic! I can't say enough about Nick and NIR!!
Never gave us a quote before coming to the house. Then the service tech wouldn't give us a quote or an invoice. He said the manager would send an invoice. The plumber was nice and did a good job but then later the manager sent us an invoice by email. They charged a minimum $350 just to come out for the service call plus $80 for the part (which costs $54.43 at Home Depot). It took less than an hour for him to replace the part for a grand total of $430.00 for less than an hours work.
We called to find out why it was so expensive and complained about the excessive labor rate but he was unwilling to reduce the price to fair amount.
If you want to pay $350 just for them to come out then by all means call them but you can call dozens of other plumbers whose service call is 1/3 of that.
We will never use them again. It's not worth it.
From the initial call to the final day of service, NIR responded promptly, professionally and most importantly clean and friendly. We had to repipe our whole house! Nick, the owner, came over right away and after walking through the house he explained to us his recommendations and also gave us a reasonable price. My wife likes to ask lots of questions and Nick was able to answer them all with ease, which made us feel confident in going with this company. We got 2 quotes to repipe the house by the way. We then scheduled the repipe which included plumbing in two restrooms, a kitchen and removing an old water heater to go tankless. The repipe process was performed primarily by Mike Lopez, a one man army. Mike is the most knowledgeable plumber out there; I'd put him up against any other plumber in the country. Not only that, but he's also the neatest plumber as well. He cleaned up immediately after each project and was able to explain what he did every step of the way. Sergio Cortez helped install our tankless water heater. He was also very prompt and knowledgeable. Nick came by almost each day and was available by phone every time we had a question or concern. Nick, Mike and Sergio all reminded and reassured us that they were always available for their customers. 24/7 service. The whole process lasted less than a week and we were able to stay home the entire time. I will definitely be calling Nick and the team to handle all our future plumbing and A/C needs. I recommend them to anyone in this IE area needing commercial or residential services. For people leaving negative comments complaining about price, remember, you can choose to go cheap, but you get what you pay for. This company is VERY reasonable in price and provide over the top service. Thank you Nick, Mike and Sergio!
Our air conditioning completely stopped working last weekend, and it was 105 outside. It got up to over 90 inside. The company my husband had experience with in the past had not returned his call. After doing a bit of research, I found NIR. They had good reviews and worked weekends without exorbitant peak pricing.
I called and Nick said they could be here within a couple hours, and they were. The AC didn't get fixed that day. Unfortunately, we have an old unit (it's an old house) and they had to order a part from a wholesaler, but could only find one that had it, and even they took an extra day beyond what Nick was told.
Nonetheless, Nick stayed in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on with my issue. After four days of miserable heat (not their fault, obviously) the part had arrived and Manuel was able to pick it up and get it installed. He was on that roof in 100+ heat for hours. (I felt bad for him, while as I sat with a rapidly melting ice pack in the 93-degree house.)
My AC is now working, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. Both Nick (the owner) and Manuel (the technician I worked with) were very professional and took time to answer any questions I had.
I definitely recommend this company.
We have been very Blessed to find NIR Plumbing in whom we can trust. Trust plays a key word in finding a good plumbing service and who gets the work done right. Thank you so much for the great work that you get complete for us when it is needed.

I recently moved into an older home and had continual problems with one side of the house not draining or backing up. I had several companies come out who I found thru Yelp all of them either offered a temporary fix which cost hundreds of dollars or said it was just a simple clog which they would clear for hundreds of dollars. The problem kept recurring, I found NIR plumbing and scheduled an appointment Nick came out and within an hour scheduled a diagnostic test after they test they found that what the other plumbers had told me was completely incorrect. The price Nick quoted me was a good price for a difficult job. I was very happy to finally find out what the problem was and to have it fixed. Sergio & Mike who worked on my home were very professional and got the job done on schedule. Nick would regularly come by the job and call me with updates and let me know the schedule for the next day. Mike finished the last portion of the job and was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me and walked me thru the repairs and showed me some of the problem parts they removed from my crawl space. They also made sure the job site was clean and all debris were disposed of. I can't thank Nick, Mike, and their whole crew for the quality work they performed at my house in finally resolving a problem that has been going on for over a year. I will be referring them to my friends and family and will use them on any future work.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend the fine folks here. NIR Plumbing did my initial house piping and plumbing. Nick and his team, including Sergio, Mike and Juan are fantastic. Service is professional and each member takes great pride in doing the best possible work. They truly care and for each successive plumbing need, they are there for you to remedy each and every situation. Since the initial installation, if I encounter any issues (recently sewage line and dishwasher backing up), the team was there for me and always leave me extremely impressed with their knowledge, kindness, expertise and attitude.
There was a leak in our main irrigation valve area and NIR came to our rescue after several failed attempts of getting anyone to come help us. Mike showed up even 10 minutes prior to the estimated arrival time and was able to detect the leak to the T and was able to fix our issue within several hours without even going over the estimated repair costs. Mike was highly knowledgeable, trustworthy, and upfront about the repairs we needed which is hard to find these days. I would highly recommend this company to any of my friends and family. 5-Stars all around.

I had an emergency plumbing issue with an apartment in Downtown Riverside. The building is older and I had a broken faucet. NIR Plumbing got there really quickly, was able to have the quality parts that was needed to fix the leaking faucet, and got the job done. I would highly recommend them and specifically Sergio, who did a great job communicating and helping me through all of this!
Nick is a real professional- courteous, in uniform, knowledgeable, fast and fair. Our AC went out tonight and it's 100 outside- hottest day of the year, of course. I submitted a few requests thru yelp and nick was the only company out of 5 that was able to come out same day (he was here within an hour). The unit was fixed and working in under 30 minutes of his arrival. I'm not sure if Nick is real or an angel but do yourself a favor and call Nick if you need help. Thank you, Nick!

NIR is my new go to plumber. I needed a pressure regulator replaced. Nick responded quickly and sent out a tech the same day. He was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I needed a hose bib replaced and he did for a minimal additional charge.
I would've loved to put 5 stars but I believe this company is definitely overpriced on air conditioning services. I also wasn't told the total price of the job upfront. I was asked to pay $350 for an air filter, a can of degreaser, unit rinsedwith water, and freon level checked (no pounds added). That is totally ridiculous Nick did take $50 off upon me speaking up about it but, I've paid way less other places in the past. I just wish he would have been transparent and upfront about the price of his services before preforming them. I would've been able to make a better decision especially during a panademic. I never signed or agreed to the price but still paid him as much as I could of what he asked. But never again!!!

So very disappointed in a business I have trusted since 2014. However, better to learn before using them to embark on a major repair that we had only discussed.
One hot water hose bib, one cold water hose bib, $20 each. No problem
Twenty minutes of labor $350 SHOCK & DISBELIEF!
This might be the going rate in a world that I do NOT belong. However, without a doubt, I could have had this accomplished for much, much, much less. My HUGE mistake...TRUSTING Them.
Heck, I would have given it a shot myself with Youtube, or I would have called others, I even would have gone to laundry mats from now on. WOW!
$390 for two hose bibs without complications or lifting.
NEVER AGAIN.
My advice, seek others and if you do not, Have NO FAITH or TRUST.
I had a gas leak, so i called the Gas Company. They came out and said it was after the meter so it was my problem. I needed a plumber. A plumber? So I called NIR and they came that day. It turned very complicated with the Gas Company needing to come back out and replace the meter before NIR could complete the job. The Gas company came last night, did their job and NIR was back today. They left a little bit ago and I am back to having hot water! Good job NIR.

We can't say enough about the professional service and great customer service Nick Lopez and his team provide. They offer 24/7 service and they actually show up give you a decent quote and do a fantastic job. We have used NIR Plumbing for numerous things in our home. And we have referred them to family and friends you can't go wrong with NIR.
These guys are amazing. They came right away I had my garage flooding. One was great didn't amazing job fix the problem super fast very reasonable in price will definitely use again

Accidentally plugged the toilet one morning before work. Tried for about 30 mins n couldn't get the thing unplugged with a plunger. Called NIR to get a quote on a minor toilet plugged. Nick was who I spoke with. He explained that most people don't know how to properly use a plunger and explained that it's a minimum $180 to send someone out n he'd hate to charge me that unless necessary. He told me exactly what to do with the plunger. After 2 tries I got it unplugged! Thanks so so much!!! This speaks volumes about this business!! Integrity is EVERYTHING.
Our water broke on our side of meter! Knowing it was Saturday night it was going to be tough finding someone to come out and fix this very bad leak. After several phone calls Sergio arrived and fixed the problem within a couple of hours! He was worth every penny and we did not feel ripped off. Water company just said sorry, we cannot help. Sergio is such a good plumber!!!

We have used NIR Plumbing now for over 5 Years. Any issue we need, They always get it done. The best part, is they are available 24/7 & on holidays. Always professional, courteous & polite.
This last time our power flush toilet was leaking in the tank. NIR contacted the warranty company for us, had a replacement shipped to our house, came back & had it installed in less than an hour. It's so hard to find an honest & reliable plumber, I'm so glad we have one.

The BEST service from the customer service department to the actual tech Sergio everything they did should be a template of all businesses practices.
