Showed up on time, ready to get to work. Both workers were extremely knowledgeable as far as what the issue was.

I wasn't able to 2 of my bathrooms for over 48 hours and they cleared the clog in 20 minutes.

Worth every penny.

Also the workers were very conscientious of COVID-19 ; wore masks & gloves the entire time for my safety and theirs.

10/10 would recommend to a good friend.

Definitely loved the service I received this morning from Andres.

Needed to replace a faulty spigot that just wouldn't come off when I tried myself, with map gas and crescent wrench. Had to call on the professionals and I'm glad I called Lefty's! Quoted me a fair price! Other guys quoted $175 more which to me is B.S.! So much respect to Lefty's for providing great prices to match great service!

Took Andres half hour and he even explained why I was having trouble removing it. Because of that, this will always be our plumber peeps! Thanks Andres for the great service!

Raphael and his team were amazing. After a serious problem was discovered in our drainage system, Raphael offered a great solution at a fraction of what was proposed by others. His team was curious and tidy (a real challenge during the recent storms). He only charged when the work was completed to my satisfaction. Raphael even fixed an unrelated toiled issue at no charge. I will be using Lefty's exclusively going forward. I cannot recommend them enough!

This review is way overdue my husband and I bought our home a year ago and in six months time of living here we had the kitchen sink overflow/backflow overnight..
I wasn't sure what to do so I called Lefty's plumbers to snake the pipes and let me know what was wrong.
Well they came out the next day spent three to four hours here doing a lot of nothing.
Well they quoted me for all kinds of things that they need to get into the big main pipe in my bathroom hallway and it would be a big job and would be thousands of dollars and I was ready to go with them I trusted them because of the reviews on Yelp.
But my husband insisted we get a second opinion and luckily I spoke to our realtor and he told us to use our home warranty and they would send out a plumber.
Luckily we did the plumber came out snaked and cleaned out the kitchen sink and said yes our plumbing is old but it works just fine no need to do all that work that Lefty's plumbers suggested we are so glad we went a different route haven't had any problems since.

These folks just left me hanging on doing a drain cleanout. I had an appointment with them at 2-2:30. My tenant took time off of work to be home. When I called them at 4:00 to ask where they were as my tenant was waiting, they said that there wasn't much money to be made so they are cancelling the appointment. These people are liars and will screw you over just like they did me. The just lost out on 30 units that I own for our full business for drains and all other plumbing work They lost a big client. But these people are too stupid to see it. Watch out of they will screw you over too by not showing up when scheduled.

Mike Demitris came over to switch out my laundry valves so I could replace my stacked laundry unit. He arrived on time, with a mask on and was very professional. Mike was friendly and knowledgeable and even taught me a few plumbing things while he worked.

Started looking for someone to replace my water heater about 1 PM on Friday afternoon. Lefty's Plumbing had it done and hot water back on by 10 am Saturday morning. Brought the appropriate water heater to my house, installed it and hauled the old one away, all while following Covid guidelines. He sent an a apprentice guy that couldn't clear the drain, and upsells me to have a clean out installed for $3,500. What a joke, he then asked me what I can afford, I said $1,500. He sent me an estimate $1,500 , then later canceled.
I paid his plumber apprentice $50 and he left the bathroom dirty.

I had work done with them recently. I was extremely pleased. My plumbing was clogged up throughout the house. They discovered the cause was a corroded drain pipe filled with tree roots. They did an excellent work replacing my corroded drain pipe. It was really a big job. They were highly professional, knowledgeable, and skilled for the task. Props to Edgar and Rafael! They both literally saved the day. After having another company come out, to show up late and the next day, not show up, we reached out to Lefty's. We had no use of our shower and toilets for 2 days! We were desperate for help and fast af. They came in the morning of, made their assessment of the problem and by the end of the day, we have a working shower and toilets! THANK YOU DUDES! They had to drill into the driveway as there was a rotted pipe underground that caused the issue. The job isn't done but they got our bathrooms up and running. We were almost having to get a hotel(we have 3 dogs!). Again, you guys are the sht! No BS! Call them when you need reliable and solid service. How often do I write something for a plumbing co? Never, until now.

No one likes to have a clogged drain line. After calling three big guys and not able to get a same day appt, I turned to yelp. I called Lefty and My call was answered on the second ring. With a crew nearby, they were here within an hour! The estimate was fair and they took care of the problem. After resolving the issue we were asked if we wanted to send a camera in (we have old cast iron under the house) which we agreed to for an additional charge. This was actually a valuable thing for us to ensure the aging cast iron pipes were sound, or if we would be in for additional issues down the road. No pressure, great guys and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks Lefty!!!!

I had a leak in my water main due to a large rock which had shifted during the heavy rains. I had made about a dozen calls to other plumbers before calling Lefty's. Raphael looked at my pictures, gave me the most reasonable quote and also the best solution to resolving the matter. He had the rock jack-hammered, the pipes repaired, and water back on within an hr. It really doesn't get any better than that. He will be my go to plumber from now on. No reason to waste time calling others. He is my guy from now on. Plus, he's really nice! I believe I had Edgar over? Today to unplug my toilet it was a great price. Edgar was very professional very friendly and it only took him about 10 minutes to unplug the toilet and now it's flushing fine. The price of $57 was great and they made it here in less than a day! So I've got no complaints whatsoever, just make sure they put those little white cloth covers over their shoes when they enter your house :-) ha ha ha ha

We needed our 60-year-old sewer line replaced and Rafael and Lefty's were wonderful through the entire experience.

He showed up with a camera to thoroughly examine the pipe, gave us multiple options and wrote a thorough and timely proposal. He then answered all my questions which gave me tremendous confidence.

I chose a method called pipe bursting, where they burst the existing pipe and quickly replace it with a new, even larger pipe, without ever damaging the floor or the cement patio. It's actually really cool and so much easier on our yard and house than other methods.

Lefty's showed up on time every single day of the project and everyone was courteous, conscientious and professional. When they encountered issues, they didn't complain like many contractors will, but professionally worked through them.

They finished ahead of schedule, left the areas completely clean, and even installed a drain pipe for a sink I want in the future so we would not have to re-open the trench.

He was very knowledgeable and personable and had all the right tools. I had scheduled the high psi water jetting service in advance because we have slow drains on one side of the house. Our main line burst and flooded the garage on Father's Day morning. After looking around online I came across Lefty's and gave them a call. They were at my house about an hour later and got to work. All of the guys that came to replace my entire line from the house to the meter were very professional. Our kitchen sink plugged up a few months ago. Had a plumber come out and he ran a snake through the pipes which unclogged it. Charged me $200 for less than an hours work. He said if it happened again I should consider hydro jetting it and it would cost $650. Well it did happen again and this time I called Lefty's.
Rafael was great, he ran the snake through, hydro jetted and inspected the pipes with a camera all for $450.
They told me that the pipes where supposed to be sloping downward to allow water to drain but when they built our house 35 years ago they did not slope the pipes down which allows build up over time.
I have used a lot of plumbers over the years but Lefty's is the best and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We had a clogged toilet and the water was coming up the tub drain when we flush. Lefty's plumbing was quick to respond when i contacted them and was on time for the appointment. Rafael was very courteous and professional, his pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work that he has done. Carlos from Lefty's was fantastic. I have a Labrador retriever puppy and Doberman rescue that can be a bit testy at times. When I say that Rafael and his company Lefty's plumbing came to our rescue I truly mean it! One evening out of now where our two tubs suddenly filled with sewage. Being first time home owners, we was completely lost in what to do. I jumped on yelp and searched for a reliable looking company and I stumbled on to Lefty's. I called right away and Rafael answered my call. He was able to come that same night, provide a free estimate, and identify the problem. The work began the next morning. All of the workers were very polite and courtious while in my home and my pup Bishop even got some attention. They took the time during the repair to show me exactly what was wrong, and what they were doing to fix it. It really helped me understand the process and know that my home was receiving quality work. Our home is not back in tip top shape and I am so thankful to of found Lefty's. They will be my go to company from now on and I encourage you to give them a try. His rates were extremely competitive and I do not think I would of been able to find a cheaper price for the same quality of work elsewhere!!

One of the most important things for me in hiring a plumber for service work (and/or remodeling) is to have a plumber that stands behind their work. Because during service work (and remodels) there is always an unexpected curve ball that comes up. I haven't been happy with the way other plumbers have handled those curve balls. But I was extremely happy with the way Rafael handled our curve ball. He proved to me his #1 goal is to make his customers happy!! It blew me away!!
I can't say enough great things about him!! He is a honorable man, and a rare breed!!
He sent Andy out who really worked his tail off to get the job done. Andy was very friendly, a nice young man, and a pleasure to interact with. When I called I spoke directly with Raphael the plumber who assured me that everyone else was trying to scare me telling me they think its the main pipe that must be backed up. He said if it was I would see sludge in the shower and toilets. He gave me a fair price, and a time he would be here and he was prompt, polite, honest, and professional. The clogged took over 45 minutes to clear and he kept working till it was clear. When he was done he didn't try to charge me more saying it was a hard job. I am very happy with his service. Rafael, at Lefty's fixed a leaky faucet in the guest bathroom and did a great job.
A few weeks later, we we decided to replace the faucets in the same bathroom, I called Lefty's and they came the next day.

I called Lefty's Plumbing to install a new gas water heater. They scheduled me for the following morning. They arrived right on schedule and immediately started the work. They did a great job with the install and left everything clean and tidy. Price quoted on the phone is the price I paid at the end of the job. Needed to find someone to help us when we discovered we had a pretty serious leak that we thought originated on in our downstairs bath. After checking further we realized it actually was coming from the upstairs & leaking to the downstairs. It was very wet - a mess. We called & the crew from Leftys was very responsive. We had one estimate for about $20,000 dollars & probably more. Leftys gave us options& we were very impressed they seemed to want to help us solve our problem & not just use inflated prices that our insurance co was going to charge.

After reading the company motto we felt very comfortable trusting our repairs with them. The the end of the day both bathrooms are back in service' we have their referral for the drywall person to meet us in a couple days. We are very satisfied & will happily recommend them!

Rafael came over today to alleviate the clog in our landscape drain that has been causing water to back-up during periods of very heavy rain. He ran his snake through our landscape drainage line and showed my wife the dip in the line (in the shape of a letter U) which was causing water to pool. He felt like it would be quite problematic to dig it up as it was likely under hardscape. I really appreciated his help and honesty. Rafael said that he would be happy to return when water backed up again but that we could actually clear some of the blockage ourselves by using our garden hose. He took the time to tell me what hose spray attachment to buy and even offered to return and help me de-clog myself if I was so inclined. Can't say enough about Rafael & Lefty's Plumbing! A+++ for pricing and honesty!

I was in a bind over the weekend because of a clog in the kitchen sink. We've had this problem before so we knew we had to hydrojet. After a dozen phone calls to different places, the only company that could come same day and was reasonably priced was Lefty's. Can't say enough about this company. Rigo and his partner did great work replacing the old original iron pipes in my 1920s craftsmen. The old building construction can make a plumbers job much more difficult than new construction. These guys inevitably ran into unexpected hurdles but they persevered and got it done in one day which was key because I have 4 kids who need to bathe, brush teeth, etc. They kept working well into a Friday evening to provide a quality job. Despite the challenges my house presented, there was no attempt to increase the originally quoted price. Highly recommend these guys!

Lefty's was the first to respond by email through Amazon home services so I called and we scheduled the job. It was convenient to reschedule via phone text and/or through Amazon.

Rafael was very courteous and professional. We had an upstairs toilet removed and it was discovered that the drain pipe was clogged so he manually cleaned the horrible gunk, performing beyond what I thought was required for the job. When all was completed, the area was clean. The new toilet and bidet seat were installed and are working well.

We'll definitely be calling Lefty's Plumbing for our future home and business plumbing needs. Pricing is very competitive and fair so I will recommend to anyone.

Rafeal and his team really deserve an outstanding review. We had several issues in a century old North Park home. They came out quickly and diagnosed the separate problems then with a reasonable estimate got right to work replacing our main sewer line. They were thoughtful to communicate with the family and kids as not to disrupt too much of the day. They were very respectful of the home and finished the job right in the schedule they quoted.

12 stars! I would like to start this review with the fact that I manage several rental units. Rafael has been the best plumber that I have ever encountered. He is honest, on time and on budget for everything that he does!!! He is awesome! Nobody is better! He is my point of contact for any plumbing needs and I would never use anyone else. Out of the 5 stars available on yelp, he would get 12 from me if I could! Rafael took an appointment with a tenant and the diagnosis was within one hour of my call. I wanted to pay for his time and gas and he refused payment. He also replaced an entire main drain through another property that any other contractor would have charged change fees but Rafael spent two extra days to complete the job and made it happen on budget. 100% integrity, honesty and just a great personality to work with. If you are questioning your plumbing contractor, don't. You found your guy! Can't say more good things about Lefty's!!!

Lefty's is my go to plumbing company I would and have highly recommended them to others. The service and pricing are the best I've found. I have used them on several occasions this last time Andy was the plumber who did the repairs. I had a gas leak and the gas had been turned off by SDGE. Rafael arrived quickly to assess the problem and then Andy came to do the job. They were both absolutely wonderful. Since we are in Covid tines Andy wore a mask and shoe coverings when in my home. He had quite a job at hand but completed the work to perfection while always having a smile on his face. Even afterwards when Andy came back to fix the cement he turned on all of the gas valves which SDG&E would not do as they said they would only turn on the meter and water heater. I highly recommend Lefty's plumbing to anyone looking for a great plumber with great prices. Ask for Andy is great. I will be using Lefty for all my plumbing needs!

Do not hire these people! They send a guy to my house for a simple unclog, I even left the pipe taken apart for them with simple instructions just unclog the drain the guy instead tries to scam my wife while I'm at work out of another $200 saying he needed to rebuild my sink. I had to call and ask them to remove him from my home. I didn't want my wife alone with the dude after that. Then on top of that he didn't even unclog the drain which my paid him to do. I had to call Barid Plumbing and they charged half the price to unclog with a 30 day warranty. Don't trust these people in your home if you don't know anything about plumbing

I don't like giving poor reviews but I appreciate when others take the time to tell about their experiences in a truthful manner. I had a clogged kitchen sink drain, which was also leaking from underneath. I called Lefty's and spoke with Rafael. He quoted me for the fix and offered to bring the replacement part (although I told him I could pick it up at Home Depot). When he got there, he proceeded to make the repair and snake the drain via the clean-out. After much snaking, I advised him that the repair he had done was still leaking under the sink. He first told me he would not be able to unclog the sink and that I needed a $250 hydro-jet service (plus that I might have a collapsed drain pipe). He then came in and said all my piping under the sink would need to be replaced at an additional $185. I said I would think about it. He then charged me for the initial repair plus the part plus and an extra $25 for picking it up at Home Depot (which he needed to have advised me on when I offer to pick it up myself). The next day I had a different plumber come take a look at my clogged, and still leaking, sink. He said all that needed replacement were the two pieces that attach to the sink assembly and not the entire contraption that services both sinks. That repair cost me $50 (Rafael was going to charge me $185). Plus the drain assembly Rafael replaced was not tight and some of the leaking was coming from that. The second plumber then proceeded to snake my drain via the same clean-out and within minutes, the clog was gone. I ran water for 5 whole minutes to ensure I had no clog - no clog, it was cleared much to my relief.

The second plumber cost me $109 for the repair and to have the drain cleared. I saved $326.00 by not going with Lefty's, for stuff I did not need!!! Shame on you Rafael.

Andy has been my plumber for a while and he always gets the job done as fast as he can, but more importantly he gets it done right! He always shows up early or on time and if he was ever delayed he will no doubt call well before the appointment. He is part of the Lefty's plumber team that goes above and beyond, and he and lefty's always take all the necessary precautions for safety. He came today, early, and unclogged my bathtub and bathroom sink in less than an hour, the price was very reasonable, and made sure he cleaned up both areas he was working in, A+++ work. If you need a plumber, then Andy and the Lefty's team is where you need to go!

Quoted one price over the phone to clear a drain and then charged a higher rate when the drain was cleared. This was a basic drain clean done with a water blow out. No snake was required, no additional work and there were no suprises or complications.

I see many glowing 4 star reports but if you opt to use him get the price in writing when he shows up!

My garbage disposal that Lefty's replaced about a year ago went out, and I contacted Rafael to check it out. He came out today to take a look, saw that it was an electrical issue and charged me nothing for the trip. Tried to at least tip him for gas or lunch but he refused.
