We hired two companies prior to Jimmy B Quick to come out and clear a backed up kitchen drain. Both came out and assessed the situation. One company told us it would be $175.00 to snake the drain. But then they just left the house and drove away without saying anything. We thought that maybe they needed to go get some tools, but they never came back. I called the company and told the owner that they just drove away, and the owner said that the cost was now $475.00! I told him that the other guy just quoted me $175.00 and he said the other guy didn't know what he was talking about. The other company I called quoted me $69.00 to clear my drain. They came out and snaked the outside cleanout. Then they said that the drainage system needed to be hydroblasted. When I asked how much that was, they said $1650.00!! When I said, no way! they just left without even looking at the kitchen drain. Then I called JIMMY B. QUICK and they quoted me $85.00. They came out, went right to work and didn't mess around, snaked the kitchen drain, cleared it in less than ten minutes and said have a nice day! I paid them $85.00. It was stupid of me not to call them in the first place! These guys are the real deal. They don't overprice the job and don't try to upsell something that's not needed. I will never call anyone else for my plumbing and drain cleaning needs!
Great service, they supplied and installed a new water heater for our home. They did a very good job, I was amazed how fast it was done. They will be the only plumber company I will use from now on.

I contacted Jimmy B Quick through a recommendation from my father in law. Mike returned my call and I set up for him to clean the sewer line at a rental house in Coronado. Mike arrived quickly and cleared the drain however the tenant called me right after very upset. She said he left all of the cleared roots from the sewer drain in her bathroom trash can and didn't clean up the splatter. When I called Jimmy and requested he call me back, he did but he left me a voicemail stating that yes te plumber left the roots in the bathroom because he didn't know where else to put them and that the tenants didn't have any soap or cleaning supplies so Mile used their shampoo to try to clean up. I find this all completely unacceptable! I do not expect the sewer ridden roots to be left for the tenant to clean up and the plumber should come with cleaning supplies to clean up the mess from clearing the drain. Jimmy did not offer an apology but just said they would try better next time. I will not recommend this service to anyone else.
Once again we were saved by Jimmy B Quick Plumbing! We were expecting dinner guests at 5:30pm for drinks and then dinner. At 4:00 our kitchen sink backed up. We phoned Jimmy to set up something for the next day and he said he could be at our house in 1/2 hour. He and one of his crew were there and managed to clear the sink before our guests got there. I say, managed because the problem was bigger than we thought and they still were able to fix it. They work fast, give good advice, are reasonable and, best of all, know what they are doing! Of course we still recommend this company.

When we moved to coronado, we became accustomed to being over charged and under serviced... that was until we called Jimmy b quick to service two of our toilets! We called them and within a few minutes I received a call from mike telling me he was down the street and could be right over (I nearly missed the call, because it was such a quick reply I wasn't expecting it haha). He came over and looked at our toilets, and fixed them within minutes. The price was so reasonable, I thought he meant it was the cost per toilet! Now we are in the process of buying a new home and are looking for plumber to inspect the drain line in the house, and i will trust no one but Jimmy b quick! We recommend them to all friends and family too. You can trust them to do a quality and quick job, and to offer fair prices too.
Always friendly and quick service in Imperial Beach! Called for a vacation rental I manage with a clogged garbage disposal and Jimmy got out there next day and fixed it. Thank you!

They are wonderful! Responded so quickly and were very reasonably priced! I will be recommending them to anyone who asks from now on. Cleared our stopped up toilet (daughter flushed husband's toothpaste) in no time and worked around my availability to be home. (I work on base) Their Covid precautions were appreciated, too!

Reasonable pricing, quick service, very professional, courteous, friendly, easy to talk to and very refreshing to have such a professional group service my plumbing needs. I would never hesitate to recommend them for any plumbing needs or to have them work on my plumbing issues in the future. I really can't say enough good things about them. No better plumber than Jim and his 2 sons, Mike & Joe. Competent, quick, and reasonably priced. If you have an emergency, be sure to let them know and they will try to get to you first. Do not hesitate to leave a message, they will get your message and help you as soon as they can. Sadly, they do not work evenings or weekends.

Our sink sprayer was leaking and the part that needed to be replaced was discontinued. I called/texted Jimmy B Quick to come install a new sink and it was Jimmy and his son, Mike, who came to my house. They were so fast that I almost couldn't believe it. I think it was about 30 minutes to uninstall the old sink and install the new one. For scheduling, by the time I reached out and asked their availability to when they arrived for their scheduled visit it was under 24 hours. Most businesses these days have a ridiculous wait time. I especially appreciated that they didn't leave a mess, asked me if there were any parts from the old sink I wanted to keep, and then disposed of the stuff I didn't want.
I've been a customer of JBQ for over 15 years and have been a very confident in their work. Mike is quick, knowledgeable and very experienced. Almost always same day appointments (depending on schedule) Prices are very reasonable and below competitors pricing. (They are lower than my discounted contract account prices with Bill Howe)
Only downside is emergency service after hours. Had to contact someone else for that.

Exactly the service and price I was hoping for. Replaced house main service ball valve and a hose bib. Took less than an hour. Cost under what I predicted. Will call these guys again.
Excellent responsiveness, fast good quality work and really pleasant to work with. Not the cheapest option but don't you want the repair done quickly and done right? They gave us real peace of mind.

My work water heater stopped working, they came out promptly replaced the heating coupling which didn't fix it(the problem was deeper within the WH). Overnight the part and again promptly came and replaced it and now it's fine. I believe it was Mike who helped us. Definitely the best plumbing service I have ever used!
Left a message on a Wednesday about getting a toilet installed. I was called right back with a quote which included the recommendation I purchase the toilet myself because of the 10% discount I get at Lowe's and Home Depot as a Marine Corps retiree.
Bought the toilet on Thursday. The owner and son installed it Friday afternoon [faster than I would have thought possible having done a few myself].
Unbelievably kind and courteous. Absolute joy to talk to as they went about their business.
Left the bathroom cleaner than they found it.
Highest recommendation if you're looking for a plumber in the San Diego area.
I contacted Jimmy B Quick for some general non-emergency type plumbing. Within 10m of sending my request, I not only had a reply, but also a quote. We immediately scheduled for the next day. Upon arrival, Jimmy and his son were very professional, and went straight to work. Of our 4 toilets, three needed servicing and new parts, which thankfully Jimmy already had on hand, and within just 30 short minutes, all three were completed, and finally working as intended! I am so thankful for Jimmy B Quick Plumbing and their services, and will definitely be suggesting him and his team to others.
They live up to their name, they are in and out quickly. Ive always been able to get a same day appointment and they've always done a fantastic job with great prices.

Responded right away to a small plumbing problem and quickly fixed the leak and replaced hose bibs faster than I could imagine. Quality work, quickly done, reasonably priced. These are go-to guys.
Showed up punctually and got down to business. They swapped out a toilet for me a few weeks ago and haven't had a problem. They wore their masks while in the house. I would definitely call them again for any service issues.
Called about a leak in our tub, one which two other plumbers had already fixed in the past two months. They were quick to respond, flexible enough to work with our schedule, and efficient in taking care of the job. I cannot say enough about how friendly these guys are, and they take the time to offer advice or recommendations, which helped put my girlfriend at ease. I will certainly call these guys, again!

Love these guys!! It may take a day or few to get them but they are reliable, honest, diligent, efficient, and very professional. And if an emergency they are responsive.

I just had a great work experience with Jimmy and his son. I was told by another plumber that I needed to replace the entire shower valve. The hot water wouldn't flow through the valve. The other plumber wanted $490. Jimmy and his son fixed it for $150 total, and that included parts and labor and two service calls. I was very impressed with their timeliness, skill level, and most of all their integrity. So happy...I just wish that they worked on the weekends.
Fantastic service, great communication and fair pricing....who could ask for anything more?!?!?
Hopefully I will not need Jimmy's services, but if I do, he's the first one I will call for sure!!!
These guys are the best plumbers I have had in 20 years! Answered their phone, came the same day, on time and figured out what was wrong and fixed everything immediately. Clean, courteous and kind. And best of all their prices are so fair! Lower than any other plumber we have ever had.
JBQ is absolutely the best. Great service, prompt, fair prices. Can't say enough good things about them. Asked another Coronado plumber for a quote, and it was 3x more for the same service. (Couldn't believe it.) Will never go with another.

These guys totally rock! They are friendly, professional and very efficient. We recently thought we needed a new garbage disposal and had already purchased one for installation. They told us that we just needed the drain cleaned and to return the disposal. Super honest. I highly recommend them.

Wow they are fast and affordable! I got a quote from another plumber for $450 (because I told him it was an insurance claim job). I about fainted and then Jimmy B Quick called and said he could do it for $88 and would be out the next day in the morning. Fixes it in about half an hour. Yay!

They're quick and honest. They came over to fix my bathroom drain. They came on time and charged as quoted, which I feel is a pretty standard plumbing rate. The next day my kitchen sink had a totally unrelated issue and they came back to fix it. When he was done, he told me it was just a little nut that needed to be tightened and he didn't charge me. He could have told me anything and done anything, since there had been a flood of water under my sink and I would have believed him. But he was honest with me and that's something to appreciate. These guys can sleep well at night knowing they provide a good and honest service and I can feel good about knowing if I need them, I can call them again. Thanks jimmy b quick!

Well, this is completely unusual. Jim and his son were certainly very Quick! They responded to my inquiry within 10 minutes, with a quote.
He called me in about 30 minutes And said he can be there in 20-30 minutes.
He certainly was here on time.
He did a great job.
I will definitely call him again for other plumbing needs.

Two plumbers arrived on time to replace a dripping instant hot & cold water fixture. They were clearly experienced; they were very efficient. Friendly & pleasant wearing uniforms (no plumbers crack). They cleaned up after themselves. Job was done quickly to perfection and I was very happy with what they charged me. I will certainly use them whenever I need a plumber again.

OMG this is the obsolete best company. I called a different plumber and left a message then I remembered these guys and called them also. They were out in 45 minutes fixed 3 problems were finished in 30 minutes for $65. This is a family business and they keep the family name good.
i've relied on Jimmy B Quick for many years. When Mike and his dad, Jim, show up, you can count on getting excellent service at an affordable price. They are competent, honest, reliable, friendly, and all-round fine people.
They are amazingly fast at their work. But recently, when I had a more complicated problem -- a kitchen drain with a clog deep inside and almost out of reach -- they took the time to diagnose it properly and use the right equipment to fix it.
I'm grateful for this great family-run business and highly recommend it. This team understands the true meaning of service.
I don't leave reviews often but this company is worth the review. I requested a quote after 9pm and got a response within five minutes. Unfortunately, it was to tell me that they don't service my area. But Mike went above and beyond and gave me free advice through the messaging feature on yelp. He certainly did not have to take the time to chat with me about the issue I am having, but he did and for that, I am thankful and would recommend them to everyone!

We got a problem with our bathtub and we hired first some plumber, he did a clumsy job, took him hours to do the thing and at the end they didn't do anything, instead they just told me it needed to be changed, I got mad coz the water didn't flownthat well, so now we contacted Jimmy B Quick Plumbing and omg in less than 15 minutes they did the job, they were professionals and even cheap, highly recommended
We had a small bathtub problem with the bathtub on/off pull. They were on another project nearby in Coronado and arrived about 15 minutes after my phone call. The resolved the problem 'quickly' and I will call them first if I have another plumbing problem.

I started looking for plumbers very late at night, so it's understood that they'd only be able to get back to me in the morning. They were super fast with the toilet tank repair and completely stopped the leaking caused by cross-threading. Real good father and son team supporting each other. The amount paid was so worth the time they spent and the service they provided. I have a tendency to be so good at dismantling and being horrible at putting things back together, so I am happy I found Jimmy B Quick. My bidet finally works! Thank you!

Well, I didn't actually get to use them. 5 minutes before our appointment the toilet miraculously flushed after being fully clogged for 2 days. But I was super appreciative of their communication and quick response! They'll be my first call next time someone flushes the baby wipes!

We had a three-week ordeal waiting on Kephart plumbing. Somebody suggested Jimmy B Quick so we called. They squeezed us in, replace the valve handle and something else inside and cleaned a wad of hair out of the drain. The total price was $118. They are quick and they are very reasonable. They are polite and clean up after they finish. Thank you Mike and Jim.
