Victor was outstanding! He came out because of a leak in our copper pipe under the house. He fixed it, however for some unexplained reason, we no longer had HOT water with our circulating pump. Well, Victor came out and surmised that there was probably an air block in the circ. pump. He was absolutely right! He bled the line by inserting a hose bib release and VOILA!, we had hot water. Victor also had installed our hot water heater previously. He is smart, conscientious and is very personable. We can't say enough good things about Victor and JC Plumbing.

Looked through Yelp for help with a leak at the base of my toilet. Saw a review here with a similar problem where Victor told the homeowner all he needed was some caulking and did the job for $75 and thought I would call. I almost read the review word for word, stating I had some minor leaking at the base of my toilet and asked if he would come and recaulk. His reply, We don't do that. We have to replace the gasket. The price quoted was the same as 2016 (that's why two stars instead of one). Funny how he can evaluate a plumbing problem over the phone and quote the highest bid. Needless to say, I didn't use him.

I contacted Victor at JC Plumbing last week to replace my shower valve as hardly any hot water would come out. He arranged an appointment and showed up on time and did an excellent job installing valve and connecting a new shower head which I selected and purchased. JC Plumbing was our third quote that we received. Without knowing the previous quotes, not only did they give us the best quote overall, we were provided three different options, which were all below the two previous (also well known) companies. They also informed us of the things we needed to do now and the things that could wait. Furthermore, they involved the occupants in the project by asking them to operate sinks/toilets/showers while they were inspecting the various piping which made for a more thorough investigation of problems. I WILL promptly recommend this company to all of my homeowner friends and colleagues.

Victor was able to come look at our leaky kitchen faucet right away. He was kind, personable, and very knowledgeable. kitchen sink backed up - called popular plumbing company. Snaked clean out. Offered to camera the line for free. Came back next day. Told me I had serious problem. Needed to replace old cast iron with abs - needed to jackhammer 1/2 my house in order to reroute the new line. They quoted me $35,000. My son recommended i call Victor before I make any decisions. Victor took care of my problem for $350. Victor is very honest, very reliable, will not do give you a service you don't need. I give Victor more than a 5 star rating. If you don't call Victor before anyone else, you are wasting your money on the other big companies.

We noticed some water coming out of the water heater at about 6pm. After some investigating we realized the water heater had come to the end of its life and was leaking real bad. Victor came to my house within two hours of my initial call. He was very courteous and professional. He was very quickly able to isolate the leak and remove the old water heater. We allowed the area to dry over night and Victor showed back up at 7am sharp the next morning and installed the new water heater. His work was very clean, fast and friendly. Excellent, reliable, courteous and efficient plumbing completed by Victor and his partner. We called with an emergency break in our shower pan, he came out that day, gave free estimate, and we decided to go with Victor after consulting with 3 other plumbers. Victor and his partner were professional, hard workers and estimated a 3-4day job completion. The job was completed in 4 days. We needed our toilet, and shower floor replaced he was able to complete this job so quickly. We liked Victor's work ethic so much we asked him to also replace our very old water heater, and some piping in kitchen area. Victor's prices are reasonable, his profession manner and long hours show he cares about his costumer satisfaction. Victor and Arturo replaced our water heater today. He answered our request yesterday afternoon and when I explained what we needed gave a quote on the phone. Another person came and gave us quote including unnecessary extras that would have made it much more expensive. Victor at JC Plumbing gets 5 star reviews because they provide 5 star service. Victor just installed a new tankless water heater. He was 1 of 3 quotes I received. Now he wasn't the cheapest but wasn't the most expensive either. Let me dig into that a little bit! The cheapest quote I received was for a similar unit with no warranty on the service and a limited warranty on the unit. The most expensive was a 2 year warranty on the service and 10 or 15 year on the unit.

The reason we went with Victor was a) we have used him in the past for other plumbing and know the quality of work he provides. b) we trust Victor c) JC Plumbing uses top quality parts and will stand behind them offering a 10 year warranty on their work.

Like i said, he is trust worthy and that is a huge reason to use JC for all of your plumbing needs. Plus he is just an all around nice guy and easy to work with.

Last night while in the garage I noticed water in the drain pan under our water heater and traced it to a leak at the outlet connection at the top of the water heater. My first impulse was to contact the company that put in the last one but the prices on its website took my breath away so I turned to Yelp and found JC Plumbing. Victor contacted me promptly and we set an appointment for 2PM today. He gave me a range of options as far as type of water heater and additional services. I chose to do the more expensive option because in the long run it would probably be the least expensive over time. Victor made changes to the water heater plumbing at no additional charge because he said it would help make the water heater and its accessories last longer. He did not try to up-sell me things I did not need. Victor is friendly, honest, knowledgeable and does good work. I would highly recommend Victor for water heaters or any plumbing needs.

Update 3/2020: I called JC Plumbing when the dishwasher installation person wouldn't complete the installation given a corroded hot water valve. 2/2020: Victor is awesome! We asked him to come out and scope the drains in the home we were in escrow for. He explained everything he was doing and seeing while we watched behind him. Thank you JC Plumbing!!!!!! Last night we had a dishwasher installed and the installer ran into a snag (older home) and I needed to get a plumber to finish the job. I called JC Plumbing and Victor came out at 8:00 at night!! Also he was so reasonable and did not take advantage of the situation......he did a great job, was neat and tidy and I am very grateful. Victor showed on time, after I rescheduled and gave him short notice. He was my second estimate, he gave me two options which the first plumber just wanted to replace only one valve. He tested and suggested doing only one valve, not the one originally suggested by other plumber. After he removed showed me how it was damaged, had to be replaced. This fixed my pressure problem but not my leak. He gave me the option to wait a few days see if the spring inside the valve would reload itself. I asked for his opinion, he said it it didn't reset immediately it wouldn't work. Asked for price to replace, that valve and price was 1/3 less then the first estimate. He installed the valve and also added overflow piping to drain outside the structure. It was included with with his reasonable price. They say you get what you pay for, in this case I got THAT and a little extra. I have already recommended him to a friend who will need this help in the short future.

Our house had very old iron sewer pipes that were corroded and leaking.
These pipes were located in the narrow crawl space on the underside of the house.
Victor and his team completed the very difficult task of removing the pipe and replacing with plastic pipe. This was a major project and JC Plumbing completed the work professionally and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend JC Plumbing!

PS - - - They also installed a tankless water heater. Very happy with this work as well.

Two stars for communication.

JC came to a rental property of ours to replace wax seals on 2 toilets. He quoted me $350, to which I said no thank you. Seriously- each part is under $10 including new bolts, and replacing them would take a hour each max. So that's $165 per hour!

I've done this repair myself in other homes, but didn't have the time for these.

JC Plumbing did some work for us back in February 2021. Our direct interaction was with Victor. They were excited about our project and provided creative solutions to help us achieve our goals. The primary work included the installation of a new on-demand water heater. This required additional plumbing since we were relocating the heater on the opposite side of the house. The new heating system came with a recirculating pump that can be programmed or manually activated via wireless connection. The pump allows us to save water by priming the entire water line with hot water before opening the faucet.

After the initial install, there were some glitches with the system that needed to be resolved and Victor promptly returned to make the required adjustments.

Now it is August 2022 (18 months later) and everything is running great. Thank you to JC Plumbing for the strong support!

Called Victor at JC Plumbing off of Angie's list about seepage at the base of my toilet. The work would have been removing the toilet, putting on a new wax ring, and leveling it if needed. Cost $368 with a 5% discount.Victor looked at my toilet and told me it was fine and all it needed was a bead of caulking at the base. He caulked the toilet base and a couple of other places in the BA for me. Then I asked him about putting in a new clean out and possible power clearing my sewage line. He was knowledgeable and up to date on what is required. Giving him five stars for integrity and professional demeanor. Cost of his visit $75 cash.

I highly recommend Victor! We had a water leak in our front yard coming from the inflow from the street. Of course, it happened on Saturday afternoon. Called a few plumbers, went straight to VM (no calls back to this day). When I contacted Victor he answered, even though he was on a service call in Point Loma. The phone connection was not great, so we communicated via texts. He said he could be out at 4:30 but he got caught in traffic and he kept me informed via text so I didn't worry about him showing up (since I'd never met him before). He arrived with his worker Arturo, and they immediately got to work and didn't quit until they found the leak. Tried digging in 2 areas on either side of the sidewalk hoping it wasn't under the sidewalk, but it was. They cut a section of concrete out, fixed the leak, put the slab back in place and cleaned up in the dark. He kept us informed throughout the process. Victor is a hard working and very professional, we will use him again without hesitation.

I have a home warranty and I was still waiting to have my water heater replaced 3 days after I reported it. I called my warranty company for a cash out. I called JC plumbing and victor was professional and had it replaced professionally by end of day. It cost me more but I know I got a quality job. The plumbing company the warranty company sent out was Unimaster and they made me feel uncomfortable with their recommendations and prices. I then yelped them and they had horrible reviews!!

This is a follow up. The first time Victor came out was to access the work. After checking with some other companies we felt he was the best to do the job. He is a straight talker and was very fast at getting the job done. He also made a great suggestion that will save us money on future repairs. The hot water pipe was one thing but what we are thrilled with is him installing a gas pipe for our fireplace. He did a great job and now instead of a wood burning mess we have fireglass that is so easy to light. We use the fireplace a lot more now.

I had an emergency water heater outlet pipe leak situation first thing in the morning. I was eating my breakfast with my finger over the pipe until my wife could shut the main. So then I called JC plumbing in they promised to come out at 2 o'clock but then let me know they can come up early because they had available slot. Victor, from JC Plumbing, was probably the most knowledgeable and efficient plumber we have dealt with and, being long home owners in several locations, we have had the occasion to use many plumbers over the years. He is extremely customer oriented and spends the time to explain what can be done--particularly all the options at different price levels. We called JC Plumbing for an estimate on a variety of plumbing issues in the condo we had just moved into--poorly functioning toilets, an under kitchen sink corroded pipe and installation of shower heads (we supplied) as well as replacing tub plugs, etc. All of this was taken care of to our satisfaction +++. I had a big leak that was formed in the front of yard. No idea what it was or how bad it was going to be. Called several plumbers and had quoted me outright crazy prices. JC Plumbing was phenomenal! I interviewed over 5 plumbers to install a quality natural gas powered outside oriented tank-less water heater. Victor arrived at my house prepared and ready to get the job done. He paid attention to the details and ensured that my family had hot water to wash the dinner dishes. Responsive, friendly, professional, and skilled! I had a plumbing emergency and the company I usually use could not come for 4 days, so I turned to Yelp. I had originally called him out to my condo to diagnose two leaks coming from the unit above me. He was very thorough and helpful with that so I asked him to do some additional work that I had been putting off. He was super helpful and did an excellent job. On top of that, he was on time and called to confirm appointments!

Sorry for delay with my review. But better late than never. I like cooking and spend a lot of time (when I am not busy with my work) in the kitchen. And one day it turned to disaster- a garbage disposable stopped to respond!!! It was so bad to clean it with hands. And I was very happy to find this company:they were able to fix my garbage disposable in a kitchen sink before it could turn to a smelly septic tank . From calling for service and final switch on and off- just 2 days. That was fantastic!!

Victor at JC Plumbing helped us replace the water lines to all our faucets and toilets. He also did a great job putting new valves in our tankless water heater and flushing it. He was very professional, responsive, and knowledgeable, and was able to creatively fix a certain problem we had, coming back 2 times to get the job done promptly, always checking to make sure we were happy. We'd highly recommend him for your plumbing!

Victor was the plumber who arrived when we decided to use JC Plumbing during my current remodel. I was initially impressed when he showed up with the company van, which was like mobile plumbing warehouse. I explained the problem and he fixed our leaking Wixet tub & shower valve by replacing the valve with a new cartridge. Best customer service experience I have ever experienced while dealing with plumbers. Very impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and integrity. I was impressed with his ability to improvise and overcome when given a difficult problem to fix. He truly is as they say...The Man I would highly recommend him for solving any plumbing problems you may have! Totally better than any of the previous plumbers we used during our remodel and we have used a few. If you want the job done right and done well. Call up JC Plumbing and ask for Victor! Victor and his team were able to unclog our sewer line that didn't have an accessible clean out and they later came to replace the main sewer line with a complete bathroom remodel. Our house was built in '59 and has a cast iron sewage line that was at the end of life. Victor did a great job working with the floor tile, shower tile, vanity, and medicine cabinet my wife picked out. We also selected the perfect size deep soak bathtub for our small bathroom. He also did a great job trying to minimize the mess by setting up and tearing down floor runners and dust barriers in the house each day. We recommend Victor for whatever your plumbing needs are!

I found JC Plumbing through Angie's list since I have a problem with my shower in which it does not allow me to have a full flow of water out of the shower head even after I removed the water saver device in the shower head and the handle is very sticky and catching as you turn on the handle so I know that the control valve needs to be replaced. As I scan down the Angie's list, the things that caught my eyes were JC Plumbing's rating very high, excellent review, discount to senior and military, and most important things are JC Plumbing will give you a free estimate, available 24/7 and bond/insured. I also went through his web site and learned that his passion for plumbing run in his family. I decided to contact him through his email web site and I am so glad that I did. He contacted me back on the same day and we set it up for the next day with 30 minutes call ahead so I don't have to wait long. He is professional with well stocking truck so there will be no wasting time for looking tools or parts. He did some testing, open the shower control valve, diagnosis the problem and provide the solutions. It turn out the shower control valve that I have is from the European style and he did offered to rebuild instead of the replacement but since I already bought the replacement part I decided to do the replacement instead. He is reasonable in price and negotiable as compare to other recommended plumbers as I have contacted. He worked carefully, methodically, step by step, and clean up after he is done. I recommended him highly will use him again when the need is arrived.
