Good News Plumbing

The slogan on the business card reads, No bad news with Good News Plumbing.  However, after they incorrectly installed my water softener, the repair bill to fix their mistake was very bad news.  They were supplied with installation instructions, but common sense would have prevented the problem.  Additionally, they installed an RO system under my kitchen sink in the center island.  When they attached a bracket under my sink, the screws pierced the outer wall of the island and noticeable plus they are a sharp hazard to anyone who sits at the island counter.  I gave these guys a good review at first because they were nice, professional and on time.  Too bad they are incompetent plumbers.

I asked for my lovely crane toilet to be repaired and instead it was removed without my permission and replaced with a piece of junk toilet that has never worked correctly. I was charged a fortune for this. Other issues too; Roberts son has a very foul attitude and was a no show to my appointment twice. I changed plumbers.

Had Good News install the plumbing in my new home and very happy with the install. Inspections passed the first time with no corrections.

I'm a very old guy, and Robert (business owner)/Good News Plumbing, is by far the best plumber we have EVER hired. He and his assistant are extremely qualified/knowledgable.  Also very clean and neat...they were careful to cover our travertine floors so as not to scratch or damage them.  Also, they carefully cleaned up when they were ready to leave.  Robert had to cut a hole in one wall to gain access under our bathtub and he did it masterfully and neatly...he will return to install an access panel in the next week.  He will also return to remove 2 bathroom sinks that are epoxy-glued underneath marble countertops once the right sized new sinks arrive...some time back I called at least 5 plumbing companies and none of them were willing to touch it.  A plumber we had used for 20 years looked at the sinks, then left and never returned.  No question Good News Plumbing is a 5-Star business!

We love Good News Plumbing! We have used them for years! They always take care of us quickly (because usually plumbing problems can't wait), and they do great work! Robert and Daniel are very knowledgeable and personable.

As a homeowner with no plumbing knowledge it can be intimidating and worrisome finding an honest plumber that you can trust. This company has restored my faith and trust. Robert, Danny and the two man crew were dependable, prompt, professional, honest, fairly priced and I would recommend them for any plumbing job. We had a major gas leak with a threat of evacuation and lived without gas for a few days. Robert's authentic concern for my family over just profit and gain demonstrated integrity and a type of character that is rarely exhibited. We will always be thankful and loyal to this company.

We had a pipe that bursted and called Good News plumbing spoke to Robert and told him the urgency he booked us 1 visit the next day.  Extremely nice and professional. The prices were reasonable and affordable that we ended up getting a few other things done while they were out here. The job was excellent and they were very clean and we are extremely happy with their services. Thank you guys for your work. I can express how greatful my husband and I are for your service.

I used Good News for my new home construction and many years after that.   Robert is a very honest and straight forward business man and has always come through for my emergency needs too.   His work on my own home and neighbors who I have referred him too has always been stellar and reasonable.   I appreciate his matter of fact approach.   I would recommend Good News to anybody needing help especially in an emergency.

I needed my water heater replaced within a few hours due to the appraiser coming.  I would recommend Good News Plumbing to anyone!  Paco and Juan were absolutely the greatest.  Very personable, and business like.  They worked their hearts out to get the job done before the appraiser showed.  They had to deal with big problems with the old water heater and ended up having to install a new one!  They completed the job and drove off and 3 minutes later the appraiser drove up!  Great job guys!  Robert you have 2 of the greatest guys working for you!  Thank you for a great job well done!!!

WATCH OUT, THESE GUYS WILL TAKE YOU TO THE CLEANERS.  They will never give you a fixed price for the job, only a range with a difference of 300-500 dollars. The final bill will always be the high price because of extra work involved.  ( as if they can't tell you when they first arrive) This happened to myself and several of my friends. I gave them a dispose all to be installed, after doing that, the owner told me that the unit  did not come with an electrical wire.  I told him to use the old one, he said he broke it.  ( how can you break an electrical wire)  He replaced it and charged me 50 dollars.  The same thing at Home Depot is 10 dollars.  This is not a trustworthy company.  They are recommended by a large appliance dealer...but I would use other plumbers who are more honest and competent.

I had Good News Plumbing come to my house to re-locate a gas line as well as electrical due to removing a wall from the kitchen which required the gas line and electric to be ran under the concrete flooring. These guys were on time and was able to complete the job and left no mess behind. Robert is very knowledgeable and knew to vent the gas line in case of a leak. Definitely would recommend Good News Plumbing to family and friends and will have them return to finish what we need done after getting our new kitchen cabinets.
