Javier bailed us out on a rainy Sunday during the Hillary storm. He cleared a main line drain blockage between the house and street and ran the camera down to make sure no more work was needed. Another company wanted ~$10k to tear up my driveway and install a clean out to the street to fix the problem. I highly recommend Get Rooter for great service reasonable costs! The cost was very fair especially since it was an emergency call. Another company I contacted wanted $375 just to come out and look at the problem! Get Rooter was significantly less than that.

I recently used Get Rooter & Plumbing to replace a failing water shutoff and I couldn't be more pleased with their service!

I got 4 quotes for the job - Get Rooter is the only one that stated they met or exceeded all local codes and have a no-quibble guarantee. Being the best price was also huge. I couldn't understand how they could do that but then I see they have invested in great equipment to get things done much more quickly than the competition, and where time is money, they saved me a lot.

Javier came to fix a blockage at my elderly father's home. He was very helpful. He cleared the clog and used his camera to diagnose the issue. I had a million questions, which he was happy to answer. He explained all the options and shared that he offers a senior discount if any more work needs to be done.  He cleaned up his work space and left the room smelling fresh. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use them in the future.

Quick response time. Team called to let me know they were 20 minutes out and arrived well within the time window. Figured out and solved the problem despite our having some old pipes. Offered to look at the floor for any warping or water damage. Recommended long-term solutions to avoid running into this problem again. Professional, courteous team. Kevin came out to my house and fixed my garbage disposal within 20 minutes. He was awesome to work with and gave me good pointers on what to do if my blades get jammed again. I was told I needed to replace the whole garbage disposal from other businesses and was quoted at $500+, those other businesses didn't even take the time to look into the issue further. Kevin actually did and he knew the exact issue and knew the disposal didn't need to be replaced but rather had something jammed and needed the blades to be turned. Super grateful I waited for him to come fix the issue!! Saved a ton of time and money super honest and will continue to call for further issues I may have! Highly recommend!

Second time using Get Rooter. They are always responsive and reliable. Much more affordable than the competition (by a landslide), and do much better work. I have been price gouged by plumbing companies in the past, so it is greatly appreciated to find a fair and honest business.

I had two toilets that didn't flush well and they augured them for me. Their price on the web site says drain cleaning: $68,  but doesn't mention the quantity. So that was $68 dollars apiece. Insanely expensive. I'm mad at myself because I could've bought an auger at Home Depot for 15-40 bucks. Looks dead simple to operate.

Then I also had a toilet that had an air leak. It was constantly hissing and I figured it would be a matter of time before it started leaking water, so they quoted me $250 to replace the fill mechanism. HOLY SMOKES! I could buy the kit at Home Depot for $25 and figure out how to do it myself. The guy knocked off $100 and I didn't really want to do it myself. So, I ended up paying $150 for a $15 part replace. I wish that were the worst of it, but it wasn't. After he left my toilet started filling and leaking water. I called the company and they said it was probably the flapper valve. So I went down to HD and bought a new one and put it in myself. While removing the old flapper valve I found a piece of white tubing. Not sure if that got left behind when the guy changed out the fill unit and that was causing me the issue, or not. But at least it is working now, thanks to my efforts, not theirs.

Very disappointed at the price and the results. I totally feel taken advantage of.

Our sink in the garage was backed up until Manuel and Javier saved the day. They were very responsive and came the next day on time. They were able to unclog the pipes quickly and even offered to check the pipes underneath the house which were apparently rotting and gross. So we were able to let out landlord know about it right away. Both were super nice and i definitely recommend if you need someone reliable and affordable. Thank you again!

I needed my main water pressure regulator changed since it was leaking. They came out the next on a Sunday without charging an emergency fee and got it all taken care of.

They finished the project early and met our expectations for what was a fairly significant undertaking (closure of one line, jackhammer and adding new replacement line, replacing portion of sewer line, adding cleanouts). Kudos to Manny and the team. Would consider using them again.

Amazing service by a great company javier which came out to look at a drain stoppage that I had was very clean respectful and knowledgeable about plumbing one thing that amazed me was taking his time to wear shoe booties and put containment down to not dirty our home he walked me through the process step by step and fixed our problem he answered all questions we had and charged a reasonable price highly recommended for plumbing

Manny came the same day and fixed my toilet for about the same price from other plumber's quote. Javier came out and assessed my water heater swap from propane to electric. He gave me a good honest quote and was able to come back the next day to complete the job quickly and efficiently. We had a clog in our kitchen sink. I sent out some Yelp quote requests. They came back quick and fair with the cost. We spoke in the morning, they came out in the afternoon. They called before arrival, answered my questions, solved the problem and were off.

Can't ask for better service to a inconvenient problem around the holidays. We will use them again in the future for other plumbing needs.

We were having water leaking under our washing machine for awhile now. My husband could not figure it out and assumed it was a clogged drain that needed to be snaked. They came out and determined the drain was not clogged but maneuvered some pipes around that were out of place. They were able to quickly and easily solve the problem and did not charge us. I wish we would have contacted them much sooner and will definitely use them in the future!

I had an old main sewer line to replace. Manni and his team did a really great job not only replacing the main line, but also doing the connectio, changing the wayer line pipe. All that work has been without trenching the house. And the price was good compared to others.

They habe a good customer service and work to satisfy the customer. Highly recommend them.

$215 to install a toilet is outrageous.  Moreover, apparently they did not read the original request for quote closely. Javier's reply to my Outrageous comment proves this.  I know the sensitivities of a small business, Javier should read up on 80 yr. old Senior who are also 100% disabled veterans.

My kitchen sink was clogged up and the owner (Javier) came out the following day to look at the problem himself as his team was backed up for the rest of the week. Javier was very professional and friendly. Our clogged drain was unfortunately a more complex issue because of the type of plumbing we have with sharp 90 degree turns where everything was getting stuck so it wasn't a fast easy fix. Javier even crawled under our house to see what was going on as we have ABS piping that should normally not back up. Now that's service! I highly recommend Javier and Get Rooter & Pluming. Price was extremely fair for everything he did and the time he took to resolve our issue. Thanks Javier!

Had a toilet leak last Saturday got a few quotes here on Yelp this was the only company that would come same day and didn't charge me for a weekend rate. Their quote was inline with the others. Plumber came on time and did the job quickly. Overall great service.

The kitchen sink was clogged, and Xavier came and fixed it within less than 10 minutes. Arrival and response time was quick and easy. Great service and I will now be recommending them to everyone, super friendly! Thank you guys!

We needed an emergency repair due to a break in an irrigation system that was quickly turning our street into a small lake.

Unfortunately, this situation happened around 5 pm on Saturday, which meant that repair options were limited. Within 2 hours, we called about 10-12 different businesses that advertised emergency plumbing services. Out of them, about half called back and admitted that they have no staff on call in Encinitas ; the rest did not bother answering at all.

Out of pure desperation, I created a project on Yelp and Get Rooter& Plumbing got in touch with me right away (the other 5 businesses on the project list did not have anyone on call until Monday). Within 45 minutes, a service truck pulled in our driveway and the technician, Mani (Manuel) immediately got to work.

The repair was not easy, since the pipe got squeezed by a giant tree root that wrapped around it it. Plus, it was dark, slippery and mosquitos were merciless.

I was very impressed at Mani's level of dedication and professionalism during those several hours. He was great in communicating what the issue was, what he is planning to do, what is happening now and what's next and he did a great job on fixing the repair.

My water heater crapped the bed last week and cold showers were getting old... Before GET Rooter came out, I'd had multiple phone quotes and 2 in person quotes. The phone quotes were egregious and the in person quotes were within about $100-150 of each other but were scheduled out a few days. These guys came out on time, were competitively priced (in range with the other in person bids) and were the only company available to do the job the same day.

The owner and an employee performed the work. They were both super friendly and down to earth. They were respectful of our space and made sure to check multiple times that we were comfortable with the price and job.

3 hours later and my new water heater was up and running.

Get Rooter & Plumber came highly recommended by one of my family members and I am so glad that I used them. I called them on 9/7/21 because I found that my half bathroom was leaking water at the base. The toilet had been feeling more than a bit loose and I was positive that somehow the flange was broken. I went to my local hardware store and bought a new toilet because I figured that since the toilet was already going to be removed I might as well change it to a water efficient model. Initially I was told that they did not have availability until 9/10/21 but to my surprise, they were able to schedule me on the morning of 9/8/21. I got a plumber by the name of Omar come in and he was great! Super professional and did the job really quick even though he struggled because of the tiny size of my bathroom (I am convinced it was previously a closet). Either way, Omar removed the toilet, inspected the flange which he said was fine (PHEW!!!). I was only charged for the toilet replacement and the process was easy peasy. Get Rooter provides an electronic notification when your job is scheduled, they notify you before the plumber arrives, they send you an electronic invoice with the description of the job, and you can pay via credit card on the spot and receive a receipt. I will definitely be calling them again and recommend them to whomever has plumbing needs.

I had a semi clogged toilet and had received a quote from another company that was more than I thought it would be. So I opted out and went for another opinion. I found Get Rooter & Plumbing on Yelp, sent them a message and within minutes I got a response. They were able to send a technician out to me the same day. Andrew was the technician and he was super friendly, nice and informative, told me what he was going to do and did just that. He unclogged my toilet and was able to tell me what caused the toilet to clog and put everything back all under an hour. I definitely recommend them

Our kitchen sink was backed up and al the normal homeowner tricks did not work to unclog it. I contacted a few companies and Get Rooter & Plumbing was the first to respond. They scheduled a visit quickly with me and showed up right on time. They diagnosed the issue and unclogged the drain right away. They also provided some feedback regarding the state of my old cast iron pipes. I knew that my house was old and needing some maintenance so I appreciated this feedback, as we are slowly trying to get the house back into shape. There was no pressure to get it done but just a realistic timeline of how long to expect the current pipes to last. My wife and I are now budgeting to save for this repair now that we have some great insight from Javier and team. And when we are ready we will hire Get Rooter and Plumbing to repair it, as well as any other plumbing issues we run into.

Manny fixed our clogged toilet issue quickly.  Cleaned up after himself.  Thorough.

My toilet was clogged in May & I reached out on Angis and Get roofer was first to respond with soonest availability. I saw some reviews saying they over charge but the owner responded saying it starts around $60. They came the next day and fixed it in 20 mins and charged me $275. Manny was the one who came out and removed my toilet and stuck this vacuum thing in the pipes and then placed my toilet back. It seemed to work and flush normally. A few weeks later my toilet started making a vibrating sound and was loud when I would flush. It would happen occasionally. I reached out and had them come take a look at it in June. They came and flush the toilet twice and said it looked normal. They told us if it happen again to call them and they would come out and stick a camera in the pipes to look inside. I messaged them last night and told them that it was happening again occasionally and recorded videos of it happening. Javier and manny  came today to look at it and flushed the toilet a few times and ran the water in both sinks in master bathroom. I showed them the recording of the video when it would vibrate. Before they left I flushed the toilet again and they heard the vibrating noise I have been talking about. They then told me that I needed a water regulator and when I asked for a quote they were charging me nearly $900 and that's with the discount they said. I told them that this has never happened until they had came and fix my toilet. They said there was nothing they can do and the water regulator would prevent air from coming into my pipes. I told them I thought it was crazy that it happened only after the touched my toilet to fix it. I also asked for a copy of this quote and if I can speak to a manager or supervisor and Javier said that that would be him. He didn't even seem confident and was asking manny how he would install this regulator. He told me that I can look around and get quotes and that there's nothing that they can do and all they did was shut off the water valve when they fix the toilet. But again, this has never happened the whole time I've been living here since 2016 until they touched it. Look around for quotes. I looked at reviews and found out Javier is the owner and even his responses show he doesn't really care and this business just wants your money. They were friendly but just upsetting with their outrageous quotes and lack of customer care. Would look around for other quotes.

Got a couple of quotes from different plumbing companies. Rooter Rooter wasn't cheap, but was definitely better price. The guys were professional, did everything in 1.5 days, stayed until late since we were on stop process of pouring concrete driveway. Amazing job. Couldn't be more happy with their work. Thank you.

Needed to replace a water heater. Reached out to a few places and these guys were very responsive/reliable. The install itself - professional, knowledgable, and laconic. Only issue worth noting is that the final cost was almost double the initial invoice. Mid way through, we were notified of necessary extra work (that imho should have been initially accounted for). Maybe no ill intent, but nonetheless leaves a negative memory.

Manny was awesome !  Came out on time was friendly , honest,  helped me assess my drain and pressure assist toilet. Very honest and didn't charge me for any services I didn't need.  I would definitely recommend using this company and will use them in the future !

Still working through a sewer project with Get Rooter, but so far communication has been great!

While visiting my Mother I noticed her toilet was leaking . All that was needed was a wax ring . They charged me $200 after I talked them down from $275 . They are extremely expensive. My recommendation is to definitely get a few more estimates before going with them . I'd like to also state they were on time .

Get Rooter Plumbing is great.  They came quickly when I called about my sewer line being block.  The problem was tree roots.  Javier is a great problem solving.  Manuel was the main worker on the job.  He was on time, easy to work with, and listened to my questions. They did an outstanding job. I recommend this company.

Put in a quote request via Yelp for the first time.  We had a freak accident where a large plastic piece of my wife's hair dryer got flushed and stuck in the toilet.  The worst part is we were 5 min from leaving out of town.  So I turned the water off and had to leave for the weekend.

I submitted a quote request using Yelp and got several speedy replies, one of which was Get rooter.  Javier was quick and concise and also offered to come out, diagnose the problem, and give us a quote for free.  

We set an appointment for that Monday and we were off.

The technician Omar showed up right at the beginning of the window.  Unfortunately they couldn't get the object out with a snake or vacuum so they had to take off the toilet which did cost more.  But they were very upfront, not pushy, and earnest.  Problem was solved and we were all good within a 30 minutes.

We will definitely be using them again
